  1. Thanks for coming today. I'm so glad you're in the house.

  2. I'm so glad the Lord is here. He's moving, he's touching.

  3. If you feel like God did something already this morning

  4. in your personal life, can you raise your hand wave it.

  5. Come on. Oh so good, that's like fifty percent past

  6. your Dane. The Lord is up to something. I mean,

  7. something's happening. That's good. Oh. It's good to be in

  8. a church that's alive. It's good to be more than words.

  9. It's good to be in action. It's good to be

  10. in a place where you can come in one way

  11. and get touched and leave another way. Come on. You

  12. can go all your life to church and hear good

  13. messages and hear wonderful music and nothing changes. But man,

  14. when you have a visitation with the Holy Spirit, who

  15. you were is no longer. I'm so thankful for the

  16. Holy Spirit. To close your eyes. Holy Spirit, we give

  17. you permission to do what you want to do for real. God.

  18. We give you permission to put your hand on your heart. Say,

  19. Holy Spirit, you have permission touch me, shape me, mold me,

  20. change me in Jesus' name. Amen. Today I want to

  21. talk about the God of my past. Next week I'll

  22. be sharing as well, but I'll be talking about the

  23. God of my future. Today I want to focus in

  24. on the God of my past. Recently, more than ever,

  25. it's just really been reminding me personally of the journey

  26. he's taken me through and with us. If you heard

  27. the baby walking out, it's actually my biological sister. She

  28. means so much to me. She's six years older than me.

  29. We had a brother in between us. I was sixteen,

  30. he was eighteen, she was twenty, and he got killed

  31. in the car accident. And it made her and my

  32. bond very genuine, real and authentic, and both her and

  33. I were crying out for the Lord and we wanted

  34. to experience God. And so we drove three four times

  35. a week to Lindland, where she now lives, to just

  36. hear from the Lord, just to be in a place

  37. where we knew there's hungry people who don't want to

  38. just church it out. They want to actually know a

  39. God who's alive, who's powerful, who's real. And I didn't

  40. know the horizon at that time. So hey, Natalie, you

  41. come on in, let the people see you. I just

  42. want to honor her. She's here, good to see she

  43. just had a baby two months ago, And I just

  44. want you to know you mean so much to me. Truly.

  45. I can cry right now just thinking about just the

  46. history with the Lord and the rich, rich encounters we

  47. had driving three four times a week out of Tacoma

  48. through traffic, go place that people just want to see.

  49. I experienced my first miracles there, heard from the Lord

  50. the first time there. I encountered his presence, Like listen,

  51. when you find a people who are hungry, you stay.

  52. And not only you stay, you plant, and when you plant,

  53. you produce fruit, like you just got to do it.

  54. And so the Lord's just taking me on a journey

  55. and reminding me of all the things he took me from,

  56. pulled me out of, and brought me to and and

  57. all this stuff. And this whole last probably month, I've

  58. just been so emotional and just really encountering God. And

  59. so today I want to talk about it because I

  60. feel like God's going to take us on a journey

  61. today and the things that we will hear today is

  62. actually going to stick with us and walk with us,

  63. teach us, guide us as we live our lives in

  64. Jesus name. So as we do talk today, I ask

  65. that your heart would be open to the tangible presence

  66. of God, that you would experience Him. And if you

  67. feel something changing, shifting, maybe in your heart, maybe you

  68. feel like the heaviness of God. You might feel a

  69. fire inside your being. I just don't resist, okay, I

  70. won't resist speaking, but you don't resist his touch. Okay.

  71. So if he touches you, or he's moving, you feel

  72. like shaken, don't resist. Just lean in. Okay, agreed? Cool?

  73. Open your Bibles if you have him. If you don't,

  74. it's on the screen. Luke, chapter eight, Oh Jesus, Sweet,

  75. Sweet Jesus. Luke, chapter eight. One day Jesus told a

  76. story in the form of a parable to a large

  77. crowd that had gathered from the many towns to hear him.

  78. A farmer went to plant his seeds. He scattered it

  79. across the field. Some seed fell along the footpath, where

  80. it was stepped on, and the birds ate it. One

  81. second other seed fell among the rocks, and it began

  82. to grow. But the plant soon wiltered and died for

  83. the lack of moisture. Verse seven. Other seed fell among

  84. the thorns that grew up with it. I'm gonna read

  85. that again. Some seed fell among the thorns that grew

  86. up with it and choked out the tender plant. I'm

  87. going to jump into Jesus explanation, verse eleven. This is

  88. the meaning of the parable. The seed is the word

  89. of God, God's word. The seeds that fell on the

  90. footpath represents those who heard the message only to have

  91. the devil come and take it away from their hearts

  92. and prevent them from believing in being saved. The seed

  93. that fell on the rocky soil represents those who heard

  94. the message and received it with joy, But since they

  95. did not have deep roots, they believed for a while,

  96. and then they fall away when they face temptation. When

  97. the Lord called my wife and I to Pastor the

  98. young adults here, he told us to move from where

  99. we lived and move closer to the church. And in

  100. our move the house that we moved into the front yard,

  101. it was anything but a yard. It was a garden

  102. of weeds. And not only was it a garden of weeds.

  103. You know when your grass goes bad, it turns yellow. Right,

  104. me have a weeder there. The grass was so bad, well,

  105. there was no grass. The weeds were so bad they

  106. were turning yellow. Okay, it was just it was bad.

  107. And both my wife and I understood, if we're making

  108. a move to come and have a residence in this place,

  109. this has to change. We're not going to come to

  110. this house with weeds in our front yard. And she,

  111. like a wise woman, seeing my track record of me,

  112. saying I can handle it. She said, but you're hiring somebody. Well,

  113. I said, all right, I did. And you know what

  114. they did. They came, tore everything up. Come on, ooh,

  115. they tore everything up. They did the whole rolling whatever

  116. you do all that stuff. They went, got some top soil,

  117. they you know, they did their thing. And then they

  118. did the seeds right, and they said, I did my job,

  119. now you do yours. You need to water. I said,

  120. I can do that. I can manage. Why because I

  121. have this timer you ever heard of them? You don't

  122. have to do nothing except said it once. And when

  123. you said it once, Hallelujah, praised the Lord. It's gonna do.

  124. It's a machine. It's a robot. It's not a human.

  125. That's not dependable. I'm not going to go there, but

  126. it does what you ask it to do. And so

  127. I was out was nuts. About it. I did six am,

  128. ten am, two pm, six pm, like thirty minutes out

  129. of time. I that thing was so wet. There was

  130. nothing dry in that grass. Because I said, you said

  131. I needed water. I'm gonna water and I don't care

  132. how much money, but this thing, what once was dead,

  133. is gonna be alive. It's gonna be green, it's gonna

  134. be good, and I'm gonna be happy when I come home.

  135. So I'm watering and this seed. I don't know what

  136. kind of seed they put in there, because usually it

  137. takes several weeks. I'm telling you, like seven days, and

  138. I'm seeing the stuff come through. I'm thinking, huh, that's strange.

  139. That is super quick. It must be my watering, you know,

  140. because I just watered the life out of that grass.

  141. And so as I was watering and then the grass

  142. is growing day by day, you know, I'm grinning, I'm smiling.

  143. I'm like, praise the Lord for a wife that told

  144. me to hire, because this thing would have still been dead.

  145. All this stuff, and I'm happy. And then I noticed

  146. as the grass is coming up, I noticed there's several

  147. weeds and I'm thinking, like, oh, that's just that's minor

  148. not a big deal. Whatever, It's fine, not a big deal.

  149. And as I continue to water, I'm seeing more weeds

  150. and I'm thinking, like, it's just a new grass, you know,

  151. maybe the weeds from the past or I don't know

  152. what is really going on, but it's just day by day,

  153. those weeds are popping out of nowhere. I promise they're like,

  154. what did you do to my grass? I believe that

  155. the soil they brought was infested. That's what I think,

  156. because man, they really took out old weeds, and that

  157. soil that they brought it. I don't know where they

  158. bought it. They cheap, that was what happened to You

  159. never hired anyway. So they brought this soil that was

  160. infested with weeds, and pretty soon my green grass turned

  161. into green weeds. And some of us get happy with

  162. that because at least the weeds are not yellow. Listen,

  163. I paid money for this grass. I want green grass.

  164. I don't want green weeds. And so day by day

  165. I'm living and these weeds are growing and they're multiplying

  166. as though, like they come out of nowhere, and pretty

  167. soon the thing I was rejoicing over is the very

  168. thing that I'm very upset with I was more upset

  169. with a new grass than I was with the old one,

  170. because I'm invested. Now I'm there, I'm here. I'm like,

  171. this is my house. Now I live here, Like this

  172. is not just a representation to me, this is for

  173. my enjoyment. I want to take my son and walk

  174. on the grass, not on weeds. You know what I'm

  175. talking about. And so finally I got so frustrated. I'm

  176. my Lord, I'm plucked these weeds out, and so I

  177. devote one day and it took me like half a day, NonStop.

  178. I was broken after that experience, non stop on my knees.

  179. I was so determined. I was so stubborn to see

  180. my grass green. And I was plucking these weeds. I

  181. was pulling them out, and I'm telling you, that weed

  182. that looked this small on the surface, who would have known?

  183. Those weeds went like this? They went and I was

  184. pulling and it was like it was like, man, there

  185. was one that was like a foot and a half long,

  186. and it was just like connected to something else, and

  187. I'm like, what in the world I'm pulling that one?

  188. It just keeps going, and the Lord has showing me

  189. the things on the surface that may seem minor have

  190. very deep impacts into the soil. How many of us

  191. know when Jesus talking about the soil is talking about

  192. your heart. Yeah, and the things that seem normal, or

  193. my grass isn't as bad as theirs, or all these

  194. things are getting kind of out of hand. Tall, Let

  195. me just mow over them and level it out, blend

  196. it in. Sometimes what you blend in multiplies, and the

  197. challenge when it multiplies, it begins to cover you. And

  198. I are called to cover the earth with the glory

  199. of God. But what are we covering our hearts with?

  200. It's making sense. I gotta get my ladder. Some of

  201. us don't understand. He's been raptured. I'm kidding. I don't

  202. got a ladder. I got something else. I brought you, guys,

  203. something because I feel like some of you don't understand.

  204. I brought my two friends. Hello, Lord help us. Last

  205. night for what ungodly reason, the Lord told me. I'm

  206. just kidding. Forgive what I just said. But the Lord

  207. told me at eleven at night last night, go outside

  208. and pluck a weed. My grass still has weeds. By

  209. the way, I spent half a day. But I plucked

  210. all those weeds and they keep coming back. Restore Life.

  211. It's a maintenance thing to make sure we're restored, redeemed.

  212. If you haven't been in Restore Live, you need to

  213. do it. If you haven't done KSC, you need to

  214. do it. If you haven't been a youth Minisuy, you

  215. gotta go. I'm telling you gotta stay connected, you gotta be. Oh,

  216. Lord help us. So last night at eleven PM, there's

  217. cars driving by, and I just went and I'm plucking weeds, okay,

  218. and I'm thinking, I really wonder what they're thinking. This

  219. crazy guy at eleven pm is sitting there in this

  220. grass plucking weeds. But I'll plucked this weed yep, last night,

  221. and for some some odd reason, I brought it in

  222. to the house. It was, it was muddy, brought it in,

  223. took it under the sink, washed its little leaves here,

  224. made it look I don't even know what this is,

  225. and I don't care, so don't tell me. But I

  226. washed its little leaves, made sure it look pretty, all

  227. that stuff. And then for some I feel on holy reason,

  228. the Lord put a thing of water and put the

  229. weed in the water. Why would I do that? Why

  230. would I allow this double to flourish? But sometimes we

  231. do work. We add soil to it. Soon this will

  232. this thing will dry out soon and fade. But that

  233. soil keeps it really fertilized. And sometimes instead of plucking it,

  234. we just we just kind of shorten it, We manage it,

  235. We make it seem relevant to who we are. Well,

  236. this is just the way I am. Well, you don't

  237. understand how I was raised. You don't know what they

  238. did to me. You don't know how that made me feel. Well,

  239. you don't understand this runs in my family line. Well, well,

  240. if you would have been through what I've been through,

  241. if you would have known how messed up life has been,

  242. you would understand why I have so many weeds. I understand.

  243. Maybe I don't, but I know one thing. He's a

  244. wheed puller. Hey pulls weeds. And you give every reason

  245. for your weeds. Why not give every reason for him

  246. to pull them? So I want to just draw attention

  247. to this. So many times we try to fix ourselves

  248. and try to pluck the weeds, and what we do

  249. is we just take off what's on the surface because

  250. it's bugging us and it's in our face and it's

  251. hurting us. It's harming us, it's harming the people around us,

  252. and so we just break off the top, thinking I've

  253. done it. I look a lot better now, it's managed, angers, managed,

  254. under control. Everything's okay. Oh lord, anybody know what this is?

  255. Try again? Anybody else, and something else? Anybody else. I'll

  256. tell you what this is, and please take a good

  257. look at this. This has a gender, it's a heat.

  258. His name is Holy Spirit. You need to see this.

  259. This is very, very important. Many times you and I

  260. want to better our lives, manage our difficulties, live for

  261. the king, tight end with demons. I know it's hard,

  262. but we avoid Holy Spirit because we know when he

  263. comes it hurts, and when he comes he actually changes things.

  264. I was so upset that I had to take this

  265. thing to my house, this little demon. I put it

  266. in the water. I left it outside my door. I

  267. was like, you will not breathe the same air I breathe,

  268. but this thing. I slept with it, and no, I'm kidding,

  269. I just sleep with it. But I'll put this thing

  270. on my dining table. I said, Holy Spirit, you're with me.

  271. Oh sweet, Holy spirits could I get a tishoe. Please,

  272. oh Lord, please help us, I said, Holy Spirit, I

  273. want everything that you have from me. And we avoid

  274. Holy Spirit so many times because when he comes, something

  275. has to shift, something has to change. And so we

  276. have these weeds. Let me do this so we can

  277. all see. We have these weeds under the surface, and

  278. on the surface it looks like it's not that big

  279. of a deal. It's not doing much. It's not harming

  280. us too much. It's only affecting us personally, not necessarily

  281. the people around us. And so what we do is

  282. we learn to live with the very thing he paid

  283. a price to remove. And so watch what happens when

  284. the sweet Holy Spirit comes and you give him access

  285. to your heart, if it's truly your heart, he goes,

  286. he exposes the area of mass impact, and he goes

  287. and he gets it by the root. And when he

  288. gets it by the root, or you can feel it,

  289. it's starting to hurt. Oh, he's talking you about your anger.

  290. He's talking about things you've been holding onto because your

  291. dad had it. He's talking about the stuff that you've

  292. just been okay with because the people around you've been

  293. living that way. But Mom, I'm telling you when you

  294. yield to the Holy Spirit and what he'd paid a

  295. price for, and you let him grab those roots, and

  296. then he begins to apply that pressure, and that downward

  297. pressure just hurts. And it hurts because it's affecting the

  298. way you think and the way you feel, and the

  299. way you imagine and what you desire in life. And

  300. when he's taking that by the root and he puts

  301. that downward pressure, you feel that. You feel that and

  302. it hurts. And I'll tell you what, It doesn't necessarily

  303. hurt so bad. It hurts so good. But we run

  304. from the hurt because we know when the Lord removes

  305. the weed out of our life, it leaves a pain,

  306. It leaves an emptiness. How many of us know that

  307. when the emptiness is not filled, the demon that left

  308. it's coming for seven more. And so many times we

  309. avoid the Holy Spirit because we don't fill the place

  310. that God removed. And we know that if we haven't removed,

  311. something worse is coming our way. But I'm here to

  312. tell you if we give way to this Holy Spirit,

  313. if we allow the Holy Spirit to make the most

  314. impact in us, not only to weed us out, but

  315. to also fill us deep. Oh sweet heaven is gonna explode.

  316. I'm gonna leave this right here because it's very instrumental

  317. to where we're headed today. These need to go where

  318. they belong. Beneath your feet out left to dry, no nourishment,

  319. no water, no hesitation. You are son, daughter of the

  320. most high God. Your true identity is a living one,

  321. not in those around you, not your life experiences. If

  322. you're in here, you have not done restored life. You

  323. need to do restore life. You just need to. You

  324. need to know what the devil has, what kind of roots,

  325. PA's away, how many steps, how many different roots, twelve doors,

  326. There's so many different tools that we have accessible to

  327. the godly ones, that they may grow, that they may flourish.

  328. But we're sitting here. I'm okay with my little life.

  329. I have enough money to get by. I have some friends.

  330. Maybe yes, maybe no, I'm okay. Just because everything seems

  331. chill and we're comfortable. We don't know the comforter because

  332. we're comfortable. We don't know the provider because we feel

  333. like we can provide. We don't know the one who

  334. says yes to the mountain moving because we're okay. We

  335. learn to live with our mountains. Okay, beneath the feet.

  336. Please remember this. Please Revelations, if you can, please, please

  337. go there. If not, it's on the screen. I'm gonna

  338. read in the Nalty. On the screen is going to

  339. be NKJV, just because I want to get to that

  340. one here in a second. But Revelations, chapter two, verse two, Jesus,

  341. Jesus speaks to the church, and I don't know how

  342. to say the right way, says there's no ficia, not that. Okay,

  343. I'll just say Ephesian Church. I'll keep it simple for

  344. all those who are language bothered by what I just said.

  345. Jesus speaks to the Ephesian Church. And this is the

  346. church that actually, if you remember, they had a mass revival,

  347. thousands and thousands being safe, witch doctors throwing their throwing

  348. their books into the fired, revival, repentance, transformation, healing, deliverance,

  349. so many things are having. This church is on fire.

  350. And in this verse Jesus talking to that church, okay,

  351. and he says, I know your works. I'm gonna read

  352. in the Enalty just because it makes more sense to

  353. my mind. He says, I know all the things that

  354. you do. I've seen your hard work and your patient endurance.

  355. I know that you do not tolerate evil people. You

  356. have examined the claims of those who say that their

  357. apostles but are not. You have discovered that they are liars.

  358. You have patiently suffered for me without quitting. But I

  359. have this complaint against you. How does the KHVC next verse? Nevertheless,

  360. I have this against you. Listen before we go on,

  361. you need to know something when the Holy Spirit, when

  362. the God of the universe presents something to you that

  363. he has a complaint with. This is your response right here?

  364. Not this? This why? Because the Lord disciplines those he

  365. when there's a discipline factor coming into your life. Oh

  366. my God, I can feel it. That's his love. That's

  367. the best thing for you. When he's telling you you

  368. need to stop with this addiction. Oh my God, that's

  369. his mercy. That's the divine love of God in your

  370. current reality, giving you the opportunity to be free. Man.

  371. So please, whenever God comes with conviction through a friend

  372. and worship, through the sermon, through a something experience where

  373. you hear it, you feel it, you know it, lean in,

  374. don't resist, he said to them, But I have this

  375. complaint against you. You don't love me or each other

  376. the way you did that first. How does it say

  377. you have left go back? You have left your first love. See,

  378. Jesus never just reveals something that you're not only to

  379. leave you there. He gives you a way out. How

  380. many you know that's true. He gives you a solution.

  381. He gives you something that you can cling on, to

  382. grab on, to believe and contend. For the next verse,

  383. I want you to catch this and very carefully listen.

  384. Remember therefore from where say this? Remember from when you remember?

  385. You're here right now, we're all living in this room,

  386. right here, in this present time. But when you remember

  387. what you're doing in the natural, you're remembering from where

  388. here or here here, any place, But you're remembering in

  389. the present. From is the distance and where is the position?

  390. And Jesus says to them, remember from where you have fallen.

  391. What is he saying. He's saying, remember who I called

  392. you to be, Remember that first love. And he said

  393. to them, repent and do the works you've done at first.

  394. What's he saying? He is saying that who you are

  395. is that very person you are when you believed, when

  396. you would spend callless hours with the Lord when nothing

  397. else mattered to you. That's who you are in the Lord.

  398. Remember that, so watch this. What Jesus is revealing to

  399. us is that remembering gives a plot or a place,

  400. or paves the way for repentance. When you're in the

  401. natural and you're subdued by the world around you, and

  402. the Lord says, remember, he's actually given you opportunity to repent.

  403. Repent doesn't just mean feel bad. Repent means you're repenting

  404. from But so many of us repent from evil, But

  405. we don't repent to God. We repent from evil to

  406. live ordinary lives. But when you repent from evil, you

  407. must go to God. You must repent to God. When

  408. you change one way, you gotta go the other. If

  409. you're stuck in the middle, you'll be spit out. Sorry, guys,

  410. he's just been messing me up real bad lately. Remembering

  411. also gives way to recreating testimony when pull back up.

  412. Thank you bad. Remember therefore, from where you have fallen, repent.

  413. When you re you almost invoke you. You take in

  414. the supernatural, a time that you're not living in anymore.

  415. We're not living in that past. First eleven anymore. But

  416. when you take that from the current position you're in

  417. and you take a few steps this way, and you remember,

  418. you're bringing to the surface something out of your past

  419. that was divine, real, authentic and powerful, and bring it

  420. into the natural here and now, what's God saying is

  421. he's saying that the testimonial what happened here lives on.

  422. It lives on, and it speaks through the generations. It

  423. speaks through time, and what you've done there still has

  424. an effect today. I want to show you this actually

  425. in a different place in the Hebrews chapter eleven, verse

  426. let's see here well verse verse four. I want you

  427. to watch this carefully. It was by faith that Abel

  428. brought a more acceptable offering to God than can did.

  429. Abel's offering gave evidence that he was a righteous man,

  430. and God showed his approval of his gifts. Watch this,

  431. watch this part. Although Abel is a long dead, pay attention,

  432. he still speaks. He still speaks to us today by

  433. his example of faith. What's God's saying faith lives outside time.

  434. Faith Hebrews chapter eleven, verse one is the substance of

  435. things hope for three things us forever, Faith, hope, and love.

  436. The greatest is love, So we diminished the other two

  437. saying well, just just folks, all, no, listen. Faith works

  438. through love. But also faith is the evidence of things

  439. hope for So faith, hope, and love they're all just

  440. intertwined like father, father, son, holy spirit. You can't get away.

  441. It's not just diminishing them. They have equal eternal value.

  442. So when you're in faith and you do something in faith,

  443. it's like a substance. It's like hovering, and when you

  444. tap into it, you're tapping into something everyone has access to. You. See,

  445. my wife and I share a bank account. Okay, we

  446. two cards. I make the deposits, she does the withdraws.

  447. It's that simple. Okay, I'm kidding. In all reality, we

  448. have a bank account, and if I draw or if

  449. she draws, it doesn't matter. If she draws one thousand

  450. dollars and she says I want to do this, she's

  451. using our bank account. If I draw one hundred thousand

  452. dollars and I want to do this, then it's our

  453. bank account. It's our thing. It's our substance that we have,

  454. and we understand it. See, faith works like that. When

  455. somebody does something great or powerful, we elevate them. We say, wow,

  456. your faith is great, amazing, and we elevate them and

  457. diminish us, and we don't realize we're called in the

  458. same faith. They're using the same thing we're using when

  459. we say we believe in Jesus, except they're believing for more. See,

  460. your belief is not your faith. Belief is internal. It's

  461. something that you're believing on the inside that continuously needs

  462. to be transformed. Faith is wholly, divine, eternal, unblemish. We

  463. go from faith to faith because we row in our

  464. understanding of faith. Faith doesn't have wrong faith. You can

  465. have wrong beliefs, but faith is faith. When you tap

  466. into faith, God honors faith and moves on this earth.

  467. But your belief system needs to align to this faith.

  468. So watch this. Abel did something way back, back, back,

  469. back back. Do you guys know how old they like?

  470. We're talking about Adam Eve Abel's that's not like your

  471. grandpa or your great grandpa or George Washington and somebody

  472. we know of recent We're talking about the beginning, the beginning,

  473. like back, and somebody did something there that speaks through

  474. every generation until we're here in this room. And by

  475. faith by accessing this substance. God shows us that we

  476. all have access to that testimony because he's still speaking.

  477. Who come on, God, faith loses its voice. That means

  478. anything you do in faith has the power today as

  479. it did yesterday and it will tomorrow. You know, a

  480. testimony in and of itself. When you say, oh, I

  481. have a testimony, you're not saying, oh, look, I just

  482. had an experience way back here and I want to

  483. share about how amazing was. No. What you're doing when

  484. you invoke on it, when you speak about something God's

  485. done there, what you're declaring in today is that the

  486. God that did that yesterday, it's alive today transforming me,

  487. has the power to keep doing what it's been doing.

  488. That's why when we were going through infertility, I had

  489. so many people saying, listen, I heard about this one

  490. guy and they were dealing with the same stuff, but

  491. they believed and God did this and they're life. Now.

  492. I'll go over here, somebody listen, this female was dealing

  493. with that, but God showed up for her. And what

  494. are they doing. They're stirring up my belief to believe

  495. and have the faith of these people so I can

  496. enter in and see the transformation of my life. There's something

  497. that's promised to you and I Jason, where you at?

  498. Please help me something that's promised to you and I. Oh, Lord, okay,

  499. I'll do that. Jason. Don't play yet, but be ready.

  500. Holy Spirit help If you're in this room and you

  501. need to give your life to the Lord, your heart's

  502. burning right now deep inside and you just need a surrender.

  503. Just would you come up quickly? I know this is

  504. random of the ordain, but I just sense like the

  505. Lord is tugging on your heart and you need to come.

  506. You need a surrender. I'll wait. I won't wait long.

  507. If you're not obedient, that's fine. But if you are

  508. and the Lord's doing this to you, just come up

  509. and join me right here. I want to pray with you.

  510. The church wants to pray, but it's like your heart's

  511. burning and you know that this is your moment. You

  512. just need the Lord and you need to surrender your

  513. life to the Lord. I'll wait for a little bit longer.

  514. We should just pray real quick. Father, I thank you

  515. for each individual that's here. God, we just surrender to

  516. your heart right now. I ask that you would just

  517. give them the courage to step out of their comfort zone,

  518. to allow the weeds to be unplucked in their life. God,

  519. I thank you for each individual that's here for the

  520. transformation their life. Thank you God, Thank you Lord. It

  521. could be somebody online, but I feel like there's a

  522. few in this room. I don't know. I just feel

  523. I'm just gonna make that it's very important. I'm not

  524. This isn't a show. God's touching you and he's showing

  525. up in his mercy. Just do it. Stare anybody in

  526. here that would say, this is my time to surrender

  527. to the Lord. It's not gonna be weird. It's gonna

  528. be the best thing that ever happened to you. It's okay.

  529. Everything could look natural on the surface. So we got

  530. want anybody else, anybody else? Come on up here? Man,

  531. let me stand right here, right here, my man, you

  532. can face me, face me. Is there anybody else you're

  533. coming up to? Come on, man, anybody else. I'll wait

  534. a little bit longer. This is this is more important

  535. than anything else for real. Anybody else? Give you ten

  536. more seconds? Thank you? Come on, It's gotta be hell.

  537. He's one more. Who are you? Don't resist? It's not

  538. worth it. You'll be found in resistance the rest of

  539. your life. It's not worth it. Just just just lean in.

  540. It's okay, it's okay, precious, thank you. Okay. Pastor GWayne,

  541. can I have some elders, Pastor Frank Angela, would you

  542. call him real quick, this very very important Holy Spirit,

  543. Just would you stand real quick pray over them. Father.

  544. I thank you for what you're doing right here in

  545. this moment. If you're in here and you still know

  546. that you got to be up here, given to just

  547. come as we're praying. Father, I thank you that you're

  548. doing what you're doing best. God. I thank you for

  549. radical transformation. God. I thank you right now God that

  550. there's a transformation that's coming for the rest of their lives. God.

  551. And I thank you that nothing in the past will

  552. have a hold on them. And God, I thank you

  553. for what you're doing right here, right now will have

  554. eternal impact. God. Not thank you for healing them, touching them,

  555. changing them, delivering them. And I thank you that right

  556. now you're marking them God for the rest of their lives.

  557. I thank you Joy is coming back God. I thank

  558. your revivals hitting their hearts. I thank you for the

  559. fire of God, changing them, burning everything else that doesn't

  560. belong and God, I thank you as they're giving and

  561. surrendering to you God, that there's something happening that will

  562. just reflect on their countenance in Jesus name, Oh precious

  563. Holy Spirit. Amen. Okay, quickly rush back to your seats.

  564. We're almost done. But this is so precious. I just

  565. couldn't go on. I couldn't go on. Come up with again. Yes,

  566. So if you were here at the end when we're

  567. not going to have Destiny team, would you come back

  568. up and let somebody pray with you? Okay, it's so

  569. precious Jesus, I feel that way to where is crying?

  570. If you have kids in the back, should go get them?

  571. Leave the department back there. It's just gonna Can we

  572. do like another seven to ten minutes? Is that? Okay?

  573. We just we gotta. I had to. The Lord just

  574. said we had to do that before we go to

  575. where we're headed. Right now? Okay, oh Lord, Okay, when

  576. you're walking this life of faith, sometimes you enter a

  577. situation that it's too big to handle and it's too overwhelming,

  578. and the you've tried exhausted all your abilities and faith

  579. and you've prayed every prayer you could pray, and you've

  580. tried so hard, but there's this thing that sits in

  581. front of you, and it's it's a big old mountain,

  582. and instead of you looking down on it, it's looking

  583. down at you, and it's tormenting your beliefs and understanding,

  584. and it's everything you think you know about faith. It's

  585. kind of laughing at it. And you got this mountain

  586. in front of you. And so many times we were

  587. stuck in a place where we know we have to

  588. get across to the other side of the mountain, but

  589. it's just in front of us, and we can't. We

  590. can't seem to get there. We just don't know how.

  591. And so many times we get stuck in this gaze

  592. at the mountain. And the longer you look at a mountain,

  593. the bigger it gets. The longer you look at your hopelessness,

  594. the hope you get, the longer you look at that

  595. depressive spirit, the more depressed you get, The longer you

  596. think about how broke you are, the more broke you are,

  597. because that affects everything inside too. So the longer you're

  598. sitting there with your mountain of issues, the bigger it gets,

  599. and the Lord he wants to take you to a

  600. place of breakthrough. And so when you stand in front

  601. of the mountain, the Lord in his mercy says, why

  602. don't you take a step back. And when you take

  603. a few steps back, you begin to revisit your past.

  604. When you revisit your past, what do you find? You find?

  605. Oh God, I remember there was a mountain of infertility.

  606. I remember I couldn't have kids. But God, you made

  607. away and I went through. And then you take a

  608. few more steps back, and then you remember, Oh God,

  609. I remember I was depressed and suicide had its hand

  610. around my throat and I was gonna die. I knew

  611. I was gonna finish it. But Lord, the light of

  612. God came and showing into my life, and I went

  613. right through that mountain. And you take a few steps back,

  614. and you remember God. I remember I was so broke

  615. I couldn't afford my next rent payment, and I just prayed, Lord,

  616. would you provide? And God, you gave me that idea,

  617. You gave me that opportunity. You connected me with the

  618. right people, You shine your light into me. You take

  619. a few steps back. God, I remember when my marriage

  620. was on the brink of divorce. I remember when nothing

  621. seemed hopeful. I remember when I was so broken, so alone.

  622. But God, you came and you redeemed my life. You

  623. redeemed my mind, You redeemed everything about me. You take

  624. a few steps back, God, I remember when I was

  625. stuck in pornography, addicted to that game, addicted to that vibe,

  626. addicted to that drug. I remember, God, but you came

  627. and you broke out of me. You uprooted this evil

  628. out of me. I remember when I was so hungry

  629. Jesus that all I wanted to do was burned for you.

  630. I stayed until the late of the night. I prayed

  631. till I couldn't pray no more. I remember. And then

  632. all of a sudden, as you're pulling back and your

  633. memory and you're walking back on memory lane, you're walking

  634. back with the Lord, not revisiting your failures, but revisiting

  635. his glorious success. His majesty has transformation, and you see

  636. it all and you're actually getting pulled back, and then

  637. the Lord releases you, and you're walking to this cloud

  638. of witnesses to the life of faith, and like David,

  639. all those in the face of the life. All those armies,

  640. the Israeli army was shaking in their armor. But David

  641. came just just broke the jaw of the lion, just

  642. killed and slain the bear taking its sheep. And David comes,

  643. He's like, oh, I have this victory in the Lord.

  644. The anointing is on me. This break through, this break through,

  645. this breakthrough, this breakthrough, you going, You're walking through this

  646. and the God of your past ushers in a new reality.

  647. And then all of a sudden, this mountain that was big,

  648. it's just a hill. It's just a hill. And then

  649. you say, you take the authority given to you by Christ, saying,

  650. if any of you shall say to this mountain, may

  651. you be uprooted, May you be uprooted. This is what

  652. all of our mountains look like. This is what they

  653. look like. It's inward issues. Many times, it's outward issues.

  654. It's things that we necessarily can't do. But when we

  655. take the authority of Christ and we say, may you

  656. be uprooted and thrown into the sea, God will move

  657. heaven and earth. When you enter into that faith, you

  658. may be here. And you're saying to yourself, well, I

  659. don't have necessarily that walk of faith. I don't have

  660. anything to lean back on. I don't have that walk

  661. with the Lord that some others may have. I don't

  662. have those stories, those victories, those life changing, life touching

  663. moments that I could say, God, I know you in

  664. my life. Listen carefully. Faith doesn't belong to anyone. It's

  665. something we all have an opportunity to enter into. So

  666. if I walk to journey, you have direct access to

  667. that because that faith necessarily wasn't mine. My belief just

  668. a line to it. You will have direct access to

  669. the victory in every testimony you've ever heard. This is

  670. why we share testimonies. I'm gonna share one story and

  671. we'll end with this one. It's a story that you

  672. need to remember. If that's you in this room and

  673. you might say I can't really find anything in my past,

  674. I want to introduce you to a woman in the

  675. scriptures by the name of Reyhab. Rehab, remember the name.

  676. Rehab lived in a city named Jericho. And when Rehab

  677. lived in Jericho, the Israelite nation was closing in. You see,

  678. when God pulled the Israelite nation out of Egypt, out

  679. of their bondage, out of their slavery. He split the

  680. Red Sea, and the whole nation walked on dry ground,

  681. on the river bed, on the seabed, they all walked

  682. on dry ground. Okay, forty years later, please listen to

  683. the intensity of this. Forty years later, the Israelite nation

  684. is at the door of Jericho. After that moment of

  685. walking on the dry ground, the Israelite nation comes to

  686. the door of Jericho. They sent two spies into Jericho.

  687. And this woman, she was a prostitute. Ray Hab. She

  688. welcomed these spies and hid them. And she said, we

  689. all heard what your God did, how he caused you

  690. to walk on dry ground. Forty years later, and we're

  691. all been terrified forty years. They're living in fear. But

  692. I know your God is the real god. Rayhab said,

  693. what did Rehab do? She is depicted in Hebrews chapter

  694. eleven in the Hall of Faith. There's Rehab in there too.

  695. And she said, the things that I heard forty years ago,

  696. I believed in them. And she entered into the same

  697. faith as the Israelite nation. She had to be. She

  698. couldn't be killed. There's no way God can harm her.

  699. She couldn't. Lot was pulled out because he was in

  700. the faith. God honors those that are in the faith,

  701. so Rahab couldn't fall under the judgment of God because

  702. she entered into something divine. Do you understand what I'm saying.

  703. If you're in this room and you're like, I don't

  704. have a history, listen, you do. His name is Jesus

  705. and it's found in everything everything you read in this thing,

  706. it's all yours. Would you stand to your feet? Oooh Jesus.

  707. I don't know what he's reminding you of today, but

  708. this is what he wants to do. Right now, I'm

  709. gonna ask the Destiny Team would you quickly come up

  710. and Destiny Team, we're over time. If your kids are here,

  711. that's great because nobody's in a hurry really to go

  712. unless you really gotta go get him. But listen, don't

  713. let this moment buy Nothing is more important than your

  714. encounter with this sweet, precious, hot Holy Spirit. So the

  715. Destiny Team will serve as praying with you through whatever

  716. you need to pray through. But I'm gonna ask you

  717. this one time, and I want the Holy Spirit. Would

  718. you take over? After this? I'm gonna depart the stage,

  719. but stay as long as you need to. Even if

  720. all the Destiny team has to go, they'll turn on

  721. some music, but don't walk away from the encounter that

  722. is life transforming. I'm gonna ask you this question this morning.

  723. What is the Holy Spirit reminding you of? With every

  724. eye closed? Father, I thank you for touching us deeply,

  725. for touching us, changing us, molding us, shaping us, breaking us. God,

  726. we yield to the potter, and we say, where you

  727. are your clay. This morning, I asked that you break

  728. what needs to be broken, heal what needs to be healed,

  729. delivered what needs to be delivered, Cast out every devil

  730. this morning, God, we want to be a free, spotless

  731. bride in Jesus' name. God, we want to encounter the

  732. goodness of God this morning. We want to experience the

  733. fullness of God. This morning. We want to know the

  734. power of which we were saved from and the power

  735. of which we are saved for. In Jesus' name, So

  736. as we pray, I asked that you would respond in

  737. Jesus' name,
