  1. Thank you God. Stay standing. If you can, I should

  2. put your hand on your heart. Say Jesus, everything is yours.

  3. I hold nothing back. If you give it, I'll take

  4. it in Jesus name. Amen. Oh right, Amen, Amen. I'm

  5. so glad to be here. John. Are you in the

  6. house where you at? John? John? Can you do me

  7. a big favor? Can you just a little bit? I

  8. feel like it's either I'm gonna run over it or

  9. it's gonna trip me up one or the other. I

  10. don't know. But if you can this way, this guy's

  11. teasing me. Yeah, put her center. Thank you John, And

  12. then when you're done, please come back. I wanna chat

  13. with you for a second. I'm the new young adult

  14. pasture here and I'm super excited to do that. It's

  15. amazing journey. If you're eighteen plus in the building or

  16. watching online, or you know somebody who needs community, we

  17. want to get plugged in. We want to get connected.

  18. Starting in September. Tomorrow, September, isn't it. Starting in September,

  19. several times a month, we're going to go into the

  20. homes and we're gonna do like fellowship style worship, encountering

  21. God food. It's just gonna be tons of fun. So

  22. if you want to get information on that, come see

  23. me after service. That's perfect. John. Actually, when you were playing, man,

  24. I saw you playing and you were like, you were

  25. totally playing. You know what I'm saying. There's people who

  26. can play, right, there's people who could totally play. And Man,

  27. when you were playing, I was expecting that thing to

  28. do what it did last year. It didn't break if

  29. you weren't here. John was just totally worshiping like a

  30. year ago, and he was in the middle. I was

  31. standing right there and he was, and the whole thing

  32. just went kaboom and it just broke off. And then

  33. the Lord touched me when that happened, and he said,

  34. why don't you worship that way? And it just blew

  35. my mind and it set me on a trajectory somewhere.

  36. But as you were worshiping, I felt like the Lord

  37. was highlighting you to me. And I just felt like

  38. the Lord said, now is your season and there's a

  39. call on your life. Man. Everybody knows that your wife

  40. knows that you're not perfect. Nobody's saying that, but there's

  41. something in your heart, man, like when you're going for God,

  42. you're going one hundred percent. If you're making a mistake,

  43. you're going one hundred percent with it. True. Yeah, but

  44. God loves that about you because you're a one hundred

  45. percent and no matter what you're doing, Man, we just

  46. stretch your hands. Father, We thank you for John, and

  47. we thank you that the one hundred percent journey is

  48. just the beauty of who you've made him to be.

  49. And from this moment on, God, I thank you God

  50. that your voice will become so clear, and the destination

  51. of where he's headed will become so clear, and the

  52. steps you will take will have so much purpose in

  53. Jesus name, we bless him. Amen. Ah, Well, does anybody

  54. else want to move something on the stage? Now? I'll

  55. get it. No, I felt like that. Just God's so good. Well,

  56. if you're here for the first time, well, hi, family,

  57. I got some family here. Hi guys sitting in the back. Girl,

  58. that's so cool. If you're here for the first time,

  59. welcome to the unexpected. We don't know what's going to happen,

  60. except we want to see the Lord come through, encounter us,

  61. let us know who he is, and maybe give us

  62. a clearer picture of that so that we have something

  63. to pursue stronger, sharper, more bold, with more authority. Last week,

  64. if you were here, we talked about the God of

  65. my past. If you weren't here, just briefly. Sometimes we

  66. go through things in life and we have mountains too

  67. high to climb and too wide to go around, and

  68. the Lord and his Goodness sometimes takes us back memory lane,

  69. and he takes us to revisit not our past and

  70. sin or failure, but to revisit His glory in our past,

  71. and sometimes to remember, oh, yeah, I remember, God, you

  72. delivered me from so and so. You delivered me from sin,

  73. this bondage. You gave me a hope when I had none.

  74. You freed me from this when I wasn't free. And

  75. you go through this memory of who God is. God

  76. takes you into your past to remember who he is

  77. and what he's done, so that when you come back

  78. through that journey you have the faith and you realize

  79. the mountain that was big actually isn't so big. And

  80. you say to that mountain, get up and be thrown

  81. into the sea. And it is so, it will, it

  82. will be done. And we talked about all that last week,

  83. and I don't have the time to really share more

  84. about that, because today we're going to talk about the

  85. God in my future. Say God of my future. Amen.

  86. So I'm gonna dive right in, and i am gonna

  87. go fast, Okay, and it's on purpose. Don't try to

  88. retain it all, just taking what whatever the Lord's doing

  89. in your life, and we'll just go from there. Cool.

  90. Hebrews chapter eleven, Verse one. Please. Now, faith is the

  91. substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

  92. One more time, faith is the substance of things hoped

  93. for and the evidence. Let's read all together. Now, faith

  94. is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of

  95. things not seen. A different translation says, faith is the

  96. confidence that what you hope for will actually happen. Come

  97. on the substance, it's the tangible thing that we have

  98. that gets us to what we're hoping for. Here, let

  99. me put it in a different way. We're all in

  100. a vehicle, and this vehicle is driving us somewhere. This

  101. vehicle is called faith, okay, and faith is driving you

  102. to your hope. Put it back on the screen, Thank you,

  103. my friend. Now, faith is the substance of things hoped for.

  104. So the question becomes what are we hoping? Right, you're

  105. today looks like what you're hoping for now here in

  106. the West and in the US, and and just culturally

  107. we've we we use faith, or excuse me, we use

  108. hope and wish interchangeably as those the same thing when

  109. it's completely opposite. For example, something bad happens and you're like,

  110. I really hope it gets better. What you're saying is

  111. I really desire and wish for it to get better.

  112. That's not hope. Hope is it will happen. It's just

  113. a matter of time. Like when my wife and I

  114. were going through infertility, I kept saying to her, this

  115. will happen, we will have a child. I don't know

  116. if it's this month, next month, or the month after that,

  117. but my hope is confident it's gonna happen. And my faith,

  118. my faith day in day out. We kept trying, we

  119. kept believing, we kept praying until what we hope for

  120. came into fruition. So our faith is the vehicle that's

  121. driving us to where our hope is. So I would

  122. challenge you church to stop using hope blatantly or as

  123. though it carries no value. Hope is eternal value. Okay.

  124. The challenge is that in today's society, we don't know

  125. what we're hoping for, so we're confused. Like our hope

  126. goes as far as I hope I get my bills paid.

  127. I hope that my friend will be better to me,

  128. or I hope my kids will listen better, or I

  129. hope I get breakthrough in the financial realm, where I

  130. hope people can see me or love me or accept me.

  131. It goes so so low. We've diminished hope. And my

  132. goal this morning, in the next twenty minutes, and please

  133. Lord help me, is that we get a pretty clear

  134. picture of what hope is, so that maybe we walk

  135. out of these doors knowing who we are in the Lord,

  136. walking out with confidence we never knew we had, walking

  137. out with authority and believing for more than we've ever

  138. believed for in our lives. Amen. Amen, Pastors that can

  139. you help me? Please? Can you run somewhere from me?

  140. I don't I know. I'm known as like the prop guy,

  141. and I didn't bring any props today, but I figured

  142. we need a prop and I use it the first service.

  143. Can you go into the fellowship, Paul, You know those

  144. two trees that sit on the side. Can you bring

  145. one of them? Just bring one please? Thank you brother.

  146. I love Zach. If you don't know, Zach, you're missing

  147. out in life. Truly, you don't know. You don't know

  148. the most encouraging person you've never met, you know, isn't

  149. it true. He's like he just doesn't he doesn't quit.

  150. He's just he's like, he'll find the goodness and he'll

  151. call it out. You'll be living like garbage and be like, dude,

  152. I could just see the man of God. You are man,

  153. You're just amazing, and you'll see it right, He'll see

  154. right through the ugly and see the beauty. And that's

  155. just it's a gift to God. So as he's bringing

  156. that for us to know and understand the hope of

  157. God and to what we have been called to, we

  158. have to go so where in history, we have to

  159. go back to the beginning, say beginning. Thank you, Pastor Zach.

  160. Just if you can place it right here. I can't

  161. wait for what Pastor Joel has to say about this tree.

  162. That's what happened in the garden. It fell apart. God

  163. planned the garden for goodness and it just okay, well,

  164. for us to understand why we even hope and what

  165. we're hoping for, we have to go to the original

  166. design and the intention of the author. Correct. So when

  167. we go back into the garden, this is what this

  168. tree represents, the garden of Eden where it began. When

  169. we go back into the garden, we find that God

  170. created man in whose image and in his image and

  171. likeness he formed them, and then he ordained a few

  172. things over man to be like. And first and almost

  173. he said, be fruitful and multiply. And then he said,

  174. I am giving you dominion, rule and reign over everything created.

  175. He said, plow this ground and make beautiful things. When

  176. God created Atom, he also brought the animals to Atom,

  177. and he said, what would you name them? Adam. So

  178. not only do we have the ability to rule, to reign,

  179. but we also have the ability to imagine with God,

  180. co labor with him in our original design. Like we

  181. put so much pressure on God to do the thing

  182. He's already done, and now it's our job to say, Okay, God,

  183. you've done that. You've given me the power, and now

  184. I have the authority to rule, to reign and make

  185. things happen. And so when Moses was leading Egypt out

  186. of or when Moses was leading the Israeli nation out

  187. of Egypt and the Egyptians came to kill them, Moses

  188. said to the people, watch what God will do. And

  189. then God said, why are you crying out to me?

  190. Take your staff, divide the sea? Walk. But so many

  191. times we're like, just wait till what God will do.

  192. Just wait, just wait on God. And there's nothing wrong

  193. with waiting. And if you're in that season God's leading

  194. you that way, please wait. But I'm telling you, when

  195. you understand the same power that raised him from the

  196. debt lives in you, You're gonna walk a different way.

  197. So in this garden, God created them to rule, to reign,

  198. to have dominion, to have authority, to expand. The idea

  199. beyond multiplying and expanding, was that as the garden grew,

  200. the entire earth would be filled with the knowledge and

  201. the glory and the splendor and the wonder and the

  202. majesty of this God we worship. Why because Adam and

  203. Eve in his likeness, cause him to go that way.

  204. We're created in his image. So lo and behold, we

  205. know that there was a satan. There was a deceiver Lucifer.

  206. And we all know the story the fall in the garden,

  207. how the serpent came and deceived Eve. Eve gave out

  208. of the fruit. They both ate, and when out of

  209. eight their eyes were opened, they began to see things

  210. they were never called to see. They began to feel

  211. things they were never called to feel. They begin to

  212. identify in ways they were never called to identify in.

  213. So if you tell me you're a certain identity, I don't.

  214. I don't necessarily not believe you, but I know your

  215. true identity looks like something else. Okay, So they began

  216. to live away. They did it they were never called

  217. to live. And watch what happens when God comes into

  218. the garden to address the situation. I want to highlight

  219. what God says to the serpent. So if we go

  220. real quick, we're going Genesis three point fifteen. I believe

  221. the first one in Genesis says, I will cause thee

  222. God is speaking to the serpent, the devil. I will

  223. cause hostility between you and the one, between your off

  224. spring and her off spring. She will strike your head

  225. and you will strike his heel. He will strike your head. Guys,

  226. please understand from the fall from the very first breath

  227. of the fall of man, when we lost the image

  228. of God. One of the first things God says to

  229. the Satan, the one who took authority in the spiritual

  230. realm from Adam. He says, there is coming a day

  231. where my son will come and he will cross your head.

  232. Do you know? Do you know what it means to

  233. strike ahead? It means to give a death blow. From

  234. the very beginning, God is saying to us, Yes, you've fallen,

  235. Yes you fell sure, yes you're not living to your

  236. full potential. But if you look ahead, there's coming a

  237. day where there's one that will strike the head of

  238. the one who deceived you and took your place of authority.

  239. Real quick. I'm gonna go real, real, real, real quick.

  240. Genesis five twenty nine. Please lameck. Okay, who's lamex? We

  241. all know Enoch? Who knows Enoch in the building. Enoch

  242. is a guy who lived three hundred and sixty five years,

  243. And when he lived three hundred sixty five years, he

  244. lived in such close relationship and union with God that

  245. one day he was no more because God took him. Okay,

  246. three hundredsand how many days in a year? Three sixty five.

  247. Enoch lived three hundred and sixty five years, representing one

  248. day for every year, in such close proximity that he

  249. was no more Enoch. It gives birth, not him, but

  250. his wife gives birth to a man named metthus Lah

  251. say methuse law Methuselah is the longest recorded individual we

  252. know scripturally. He lived nine hundred and sixty nine years.

  253. Some of you don't want to live another day, okay,

  254. But he lived nine hundred and sixty nine years, and

  255. he through him gives birth to a guy named Lameck. Lameck,

  256. a guy who grandfather walked in such close proximity, whose

  257. dad walked so long. Lamck begins to utter prophetic utterances.

  258. And when Noah the scriptures say nay meg name or

  259. Lamik named his son Noah, for he said, may he

  260. bring us relief from our work and painful labor of

  261. farming this ground that the Lord has cursed. What is

  262. Lamix saying? He's saying, May there be one that comes

  263. in the likeness of the one who steps on the

  264. serpent's head and bring us relief from this curse that's

  265. been released. So Noah, we know this to be true.

  266. There was a flood, and Noah was ordained by God

  267. to fulfill this word. And see, all these people in

  268. history got glimpses of this hope, glimpses of this hope

  269. that you and I carry. And so Noah builds this arc.

  270. And in the arc, oh, such a beautiful story. There

  271. is eight individuals. And so when the water for forty

  272. days rains like crazy, water is coming out of the ground,

  273. it's Mayhem for forty days, and the water covered the earth.

  274. And God reveals to you and I that the only

  275. way from the old to the new is through baptism,

  276. when He baptizes the world. All of this a foreshadow,

  277. all of this a foreshadow of what's to come. How

  278. many in the arc eight? What does seven mean completion?

  279. What does eight mean? New beginnings? Oh? Lord, just way

  280. too many things to ignore, way too many things, and

  281. all these stories. Can you pull up Hebrews eleven? Is

  282. it thirty nine or something like that? Watch this. All

  283. these people earned a good reputation because of their faith.

  284. Remember faith as a substance of things you're hoping for.

  285. Excuse me, Yet none of them received all that God

  286. had promised. So all these people, seeing the Christ coming,

  287. that he's coming. We know he's coming. So we're doing

  288. things today that's leading us to tomorrow, and one day

  289. we will see. Maybe we won't experience the fullness of it,

  290. but we will see it. Hebrews. Actually, this is not

  291. this is not back there. But I gotta read this.

  292. This is just way too good. This is the moment

  293. for it. Hebrews. I gotta where you at Hebrews. One, one, one,

  294. you gotta hear. This is just way too good. Long ago,

  295. Listen carefully, God spoke many times and in many ways,

  296. through our ancestors and the prophets. These final days, he

  297. has spoken to us through his son. God promised everything

  298. to the Sun and as an inheritance, and through the

  299. Sun he created the universe. Listened very carefully. The sun

  300. radiates God's own glory and expresses the very character. The

  301. sun radiates God's own glory and expresses the very character

  302. of God. So all these people are getting glimpses into

  303. this sun that's coming. Remember when, oh Lord, remember when

  304. Jesus was on the mountain of Transfiguration, and all of

  305. a sudden there was Moses and and these two what

  306. do they represent? They represent the law and the prophets,

  307. you know, just a crazy thought. You don't have to

  308. go deep into this one. But you know how God

  309. does not live in time, right right? And you know

  310. how God, you know, he could transport people from one

  311. area to Okay, we're not gonna go there. But God

  312. does not live in time. So God is outside of

  313. time and we're living in a time zone. But there

  314. was a moment that happened on that transfiguration a mountain

  315. where Jesus transforms into something Elijah, Moses show up, and

  316. I'm wondering if back in history when Moses was a

  317. live that's actually when he showed up. Do you know

  318. what I'm saying? Because God's not living in time, I'm

  319. not trying to get We might get in trouble with

  320. that one, but listen, that's not the point. The point

  321. is that when Jesus shows up in the natural, he

  322. expresses the very promise that God has released. Okay, I'm

  323. gonna skip that one for the sake of time. Luke

  324. chapter ten. We're gonna go right into the life of Jesus. Luke,

  325. chapter ten, verse seventeen. When the seventy two disciples return,

  326. they joyfully report to him Lord even the demons obey

  327. us when we use your name. Yes, he told him,

  328. I saw Satan fall from heaven like a lightning. Why

  329. is Satan falling from heaven because heaven has been given

  330. to Satan in this realm. When Satan deceived man, they

  331. gave over their authority to rule into rain. So Satan

  332. took that place. And what Jesus is saying when I

  333. have come, I have give watched this. This is so

  334. so good. Look verse nineteen. I have given you authority

  335. over all the power of the enemy. You can walk

  336. among snakes and scorpions and crush them. This this just remind

  337. you of something spoken in the garden. Oh this is

  338. just so good. I don't know if anybody gets kiddy,

  339. but when I see these kind of things, I'm like,

  340. ooh so good. It gives me like this confidence that

  341. what I believe is real. Like how many of us

  342. come here. You don't want to just hear a good mess.

  343. You need something that's gonna walk out there with you

  344. and break the neck of the enemy. And your life

  345. and your kid's life, and your financial life, and your

  346. relational life and your marriage. You need something that's real.

  347. You need something that's powerful. You don't need just somebody

  348. saying to have a good week, see you next week.

  349. You need a living gospel that transforms everything. Wooh, thank

  350. you God. Watch this verse twenty. But don't rejoice because

  351. evil spirits obey you. Rejoice because your names are registered

  352. in heaven. So a lot of us take this as like, hey,

  353. it's not about what you can do for the Lord,

  354. it's about actually getting to heaven. False. What is Jesus

  355. saying saying, don't rejoice because you have a hand that

  356. can do something. Rejoice because you've been restored to the

  357. original identity in Christ. Because when your name is registered

  358. in heaven, that's God saying I have given you all

  359. that is mine. I have returned you to the original

  360. purpose that I have ordained, that you would be fruitful,

  361. that you would multiply, that you would have dominion, that

  362. you would rule and rain cover the earth with the

  363. whole glory of God. Matthew twenty eight real Quick twenty eight,

  364. verse eighteen. You know that Jesus came, He lived a

  365. perfect life, he died a gruesome death, and then when

  366. he was buried for three days, he raised from the

  367. dead by the power of the same spirit that lives

  368. in us. And when he raised from the dead, Jesus

  369. came and told his disciples, what I have been given

  370. all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore go, Can

  371. you say go one more time? Go therefore, go and

  372. make disciples of all the nations. He didn't say go

  373. and try. He didn't. So he didn't say go and hide.

  374. He said go and make How many of us know

  375. that this is not a suggestion, This is not a

  376. maybe yes, maybe no. This is a do it because

  377. it's on your life to do it. Go and make

  378. the disciples of all the nations. So what we have

  379. here is we have the Gordon. We have people showing

  380. up throughout the Gordon, or throughout history looking forward to

  381. the time when Jesus shows up. How many of us

  382. know that Jesus is the living, breathing Word of God.

  383. So the Word shows up, he makes the menifest presence

  384. of God in the very character and nature of God

  385. redeems us back. And then what he does is he

  386. gives us a commission. So many of us are stuck

  387. in win is the end happening? Is it happening tomorrow

  388. or is it happening in two years? Is it happening

  389. in ten or is it happening in one hundred? Listen,

  390. nobody knows, but we know something. I need some shoes, Dennis,

  391. Can I use your shoes again? Please? My brother, You

  392. all need to see this. Praise the Lord. You see these,

  393. This is your hope. It's right there. Second, God redeemed

  394. something that happened here through the cross, and he says, go,

  395. this is your assignment right here. Go and you don't stop.

  396. Can you pull that verse back up in Matthew twenty eight,

  397. You don't stop until the nations have been disciples. We

  398. don't let go until everything falls under the submission of Christ.

  399. Don't you tell me that it's gonna get worse when

  400. the Lord said, go make disciples. Don't you tell me

  401. that this sickness is gonna have you when in Mark

  402. he says, those that believe will lay hands on the

  403. sick and they will recover. Don't you tell me you're

  404. diagnosis when there's a better and bigger word. Your diagnosis

  405. is a shaky ground. But the Word of God is

  406. a solid foundation. We have more hope in the surroundings

  407. of our current existence than the Word that is eternal

  408. through time. And faith will always drive us to what

  409. we're hoping for. So if you and I see the

  410. words of God and we say, God, you said that

  411. the nations will be disciples God, you said, and Mark,

  412. let me pull it up real quick. These the miraculous

  413. signs will accompany those who believe they will cast out demons.

  414. You said that the demons will be casted out. And

  415. I won't stop, I won't quit, I won't let go.

  416. I won't give in until every demon is gone, until

  417. every sick is healed, until every nation is disciple. And

  418. that's the hope of my calling. But we're so petty

  419. sometimes it's just true, especially in the West. God, just

  420. keep me through this day. I'm not saying your day's

  421. not hard. I'm not. It's real. It's real. Life is real,

  422. Like last night, somebody in my neighborhood got shot, like

  423. it's real, like life. I'm not saying what you're going

  424. through doesn't have validity or doesn't have meaning, or it's

  425. not waightful or not hard, or I'm not saying that

  426. at all. I'm just saying the ones from the beginning

  427. who saw whatever they saw, no matter what they went through,

  428. did not change the outcome of their life, and that

  429. was the reputation they earned that when we hear their stories,

  430. it empowers something in us that you and I can

  431. walk in more freedom, more strength, more ability. And now

  432. that the Christ has come, the same one that rose

  433. from the dead lives in us. We're unstoppable. What if

  434. we start believing that? So it doesn't matter if we're

  435. right here in this journey and at the on the

  436. other side of that, you know what's happened, you know

  437. what's coming. Jesus is coming. It doesn't matter if we're

  438. here or we're here because nobody knows, or we're right here,

  439. nobody knows. That's not our quest. Our quest is to

  440. keep our eyes on the Christ. Keep our eyes on

  441. the Christ. Keep our eyes on the Christ. Oh Lord,

  442. where should I go? Lord? Real quick? I'm just gonna

  443. briefly make some comments practically how we overcome. First John

  444. chapter five, the scriptures declare that anyone who believes that Christ,

  445. you don't have to put it up on the screen.

  446. I'll just paraphrase. You can look it for yourself. Anyone who,

  447. anyone can overcome this world if they believe that Jesus

  448. is the son of God. And Jesus was revealed in

  449. three by three witnesses, by his blood okay, by the

  450. spirit who testifies about him, and by water okay, through baptism.

  451. Those three things. Anybody who believes in the sun must

  452. acknowledge these three witnesses who do not lie. The blood,

  453. the water, and the spirit who testifies. Okay, these three things.

  454. Later on in Revelations, we can actually pull this one

  455. up Revelations. I believe it's twelve. Is it up there?

  456. Tell me if it's up there, I'll just read there.

  457. Then I heard a loud voice shouting across the heavens.

  458. It has come at last the salvation, power and the

  459. Kingdom of God and the authority of His Christ. For

  460. the accuser, the devil, the lucifer, the one from the

  461. beginning that deceived us of our brothers and sisters, has

  462. been thrown down to the earth. And the one who

  463. accuses them before, that's the one who accused them before

  464. God day night. Next verse. Watch this, and they have

  465. defeated him. Not they will not, they mu right, not,

  466. they have to try. But they have defeated him by

  467. the blood of the Lamb, by the word of their testimony.

  468. Don't skip the last one. You skip the last one,

  469. you lose every time. And they did not love their

  470. lives so much that they were afraid to die. The

  471. blood Jesus is revealed through the blood. What's the next one?

  472. The word of their testimony. That's what the spirit brings

  473. to reveal Jesus. And that they didn't love their lives

  474. unto death. That's water baptism. What happens when you're baptized.

  475. You let go of your old life. You die to

  476. all the fears, all the insecurities, all the past, all

  477. the demons, all the wrongs, all the hardships, and your

  478. race to life to a brand new creation. That is

  479. how you overcome. That is what we need to look

  480. forward to real quick. Hebrews chapter twelve, Verse one. Therefore,

  481. since you and I are surrounded by such a huge

  482. crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us

  483. strip off every weight. Oh there is a distinction here.

  484. I want you to catch this. Let us strip off

  485. every weight that slows us down, especially the sin. So

  486. weight doesn't necessarily mean sin. Well, don't judge me. I

  487. can do this. I'm not judging you. But if this

  488. is you should probably listen right I don't care. Maybe

  489. you can drink that and nothing's bothering you, but I

  490. know somebody else can't. And if you're the one who

  491. can't and is bothering you, you should probably listen. Stripping off

  492. every weight that holds us back. I want to watch

  493. this next part, especially the sin that so easily trips

  494. us up, and let us run with endurance the race

  495. that God has set before us. How many of us

  496. know what the race is? We talked about that just

  497. a second ago. It's seeing the nation's disciple, it's seeing

  498. every demonic spirit cast it out. Pastor Dwayne mentioned a

  499. few weeks ago, we are all full time ministers. We're

  500. actually all paid full time missionaries ministers. That's because wherever

  501. you go and all that you do, you are a Christian.

  502. You know what a Christian is, a christ like one.

  503. You know what Christ did everywhere he went. He'll the sick,

  504. cast it out, the devil's preach the gospel, love the people.

  505. He was hanging out with the broken. He wasn't scared

  506. of what they might think about him. He wasn't scared

  507. to get his hands dirty. He got in the mud

  508. with the prostitute. Oh that's our Jesus. We do this

  509. by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates

  510. and perfects our faith because of the joy awaiting him.

  511. If I can print a picture on your mind this morning,

  512. so many times we're used to hearing beholding God, and

  513. it's true, you need to behold the beauty of Jesus

  514. because when you see him rightly, you can see and

  515. reflect what you see. Okay, but this is talking a

  516. bit about a different situation to follow Jesus, keeping your

  517. eyes on him running a race. By keeping your eyes

  518. on Jesus, that means you're looking at the back of Jesus.

  519. What is that saying? That means he's going ahead of you,

  520. and he's leading the way. He's leading the way. And

  521. so if I can imprint a picture, no matter where

  522. you are in your situation of life right now, no

  523. matter how much you believe in Him, no matter what

  524. you're going through right now, if you can, for a

  525. moment even close your eyes as I'm speaking, just begin

  526. an envision in front of you, maybe not the face

  527. of Jesus, but the back of his head, and you

  528. see him walking, and I just want you to begin

  529. to in envision which way is he going? Is he

  530. going to the left or is he going to the right.

  531. Is he stopping and waiting or is he going Is

  532. he bending down to get to work or is he

  533. walking to get to another location. Let's let me tell

  534. you something this morning that if you keep your eyes

  535. on Jesus, he is your reward. He is your reward.

  536. Just stand to your feet. The prerequisite for a life

  537. living full of hope is denying yourself in the west

  538. where the center of our world and it inconvenience is me.

  539. I'm out. I would challenge you this morning to lay

  540. down your life for the sake of your King. I

  541. would challenge you this morning, if you're here and you

  542. don't know this King Jesus, that you would come and

  543. be introduced to him. Last week I made a call.

  544. There was four individuals that responded to give their life

  545. fully to the Lord, and I want to make a

  546. similar call. There's a word over this morning that that

  547. people are going to come into the hands of Jesus.

  548. So we're going to start singing and we're going to

  549. start praying, and the Destiny team is going to be

  550. up here. But if you know you need to give

  551. your life to the Lord and submit not to your

  552. own desires, not to your own future, but a real God,

  553. a living God, the one who breathed you into existence,

  554. the one who formed you, the miracle you are in

  555. your mind womb, the one who knows you're tomorrow, the

  556. one who knows exactly how you feel right now that

  557. if you would yield your heart your mind to him

  558. this morning, I would challenge you to surrender it all.

  559. But on top of that, when the Destiny Team comes

  560. up front for those who don't know what they're hoping

  561. for and they just need fresh revelation for their own

  562. personal life, on top of the great commission, would you

  563. come and get prayed for? The Destiny Team operates in

  564. the prophetic and they will speak a word over your life.

  565. There's things that will shift. I feel the grace this morning.

  566. So two things. If you're giving your life to the Lord,

  567. full surrender or rededicating or more fully surrendering to him,

  568. please come up. But also if you just need a

  569. simple shift, God, give me a vision, give me a

  570. clear picture of God, give me something to grab onto

  571. and run with endurance with. Would you come up? So,

  572. Destiny Team, would you come. We're gonna pray us out

  573. and as they worship, don't be in too much of

  574. a rush. If you gotta go, you gotta go. Which

  575. would you submit to the voice of God that may

  576. be speaking to you right now. The way he speaks

  577. many times is through conviction. You're convicted to do the

  578. right thing in life? Would you do that? Father? I

  579. thank you this morning, this afternoon for your beautiful presence. God.

  580. I thank you for each individual at the sound of

  581. my voice. I rebuke every lie in their minds. God,

  582. I rebuke every deceitful thought that might hold them or

  583. hinder them from your presence, from your goodness. God, I

  584. thank you that this morning the morning of rejoicing and

  585. being glad. God, I thank you that this morning is

  586. a morning of celebration. We're celebrating the Lord this morning,

  587. all your faithfulness, all the good things you're doing, all

  588. the wonderful things that you're about to do. In the

  589. name of Jesus. We love you God, and we accept

  590. everything that you're about to do. Amen.
