Thank you God. Stay standing. If you can, I should
-
put your hand on your heart. Say Jesus, everything is yours.
-
I hold nothing back. If you give it, I'll take
-
it in Jesus name. Amen. Oh right, Amen, Amen. I'm
-
so glad to be here. John. Are you in the
-
house where you at? John? John? Can you do me
-
a big favor? Can you just a little bit? I
-
feel like it's either I'm gonna run over it or
-
it's gonna trip me up one or the other. I
-
don't know. But if you can this way, this guy's
-
teasing me. Yeah, put her center. Thank you John, And
-
then when you're done, please come back. I wanna chat
-
with you for a second. I'm the new young adult
-
pasture here and I'm super excited to do that. It's
-
amazing journey. If you're eighteen plus in the building or
-
watching online, or you know somebody who needs community, we
-
want to get plugged in. We want to get connected.
-
Starting in September. Tomorrow, September, isn't it. Starting in September,
-
several times a month, we're going to go into the
-
homes and we're gonna do like fellowship style worship, encountering
-
God food. It's just gonna be tons of fun. So
-
if you want to get information on that, come see
-
me after service. That's perfect. John. Actually, when you were playing, man,
-
I saw you playing and you were like, you were
-
totally playing. You know what I'm saying. There's people who
-
can play, right, there's people who could totally play. And Man,
-
when you were playing, I was expecting that thing to
-
do what it did last year. It didn't break if
-
you weren't here. John was just totally worshiping like a
-
year ago, and he was in the middle. I was
-
standing right there and he was, and the whole thing
-
just went kaboom and it just broke off. And then
-
the Lord touched me when that happened, and he said,
-
why don't you worship that way? And it just blew
-
my mind and it set me on a trajectory somewhere.
-
But as you were worshiping, I felt like the Lord
-
was highlighting you to me. And I just felt like
-
the Lord said, now is your season and there's a
-
call on your life. Man. Everybody knows that your wife
-
knows that you're not perfect. Nobody's saying that, but there's
-
something in your heart, man, like when you're going for God,
-
you're going one hundred percent. If you're making a mistake,
-
you're going one hundred percent with it. True. Yeah, but
-
God loves that about you because you're a one hundred
-
percent and no matter what you're doing, Man, we just
-
stretch your hands. Father, We thank you for John, and
-
we thank you that the one hundred percent journey is
-
just the beauty of who you've made him to be.
-
And from this moment on, God, I thank you God
-
that your voice will become so clear, and the destination
-
of where he's headed will become so clear, and the
-
steps you will take will have so much purpose in
-
Jesus name, we bless him. Amen. Ah, Well, does anybody
-
else want to move something on the stage? Now? I'll
-
get it. No, I felt like that. Just God's so good. Well,
-
if you're here for the first time, well, hi, family,
-
I got some family here. Hi guys sitting in the back. Girl,
-
that's so cool. If you're here for the first time,
-
welcome to the unexpected. We don't know what's going to happen,
-
except we want to see the Lord come through, encounter us,
-
let us know who he is, and maybe give us
-
a clearer picture of that so that we have something
-
to pursue stronger, sharper, more bold, with more authority. Last week,
-
if you were here, we talked about the God of
-
my past. If you weren't here, just briefly. Sometimes we
-
go through things in life and we have mountains too
-
high to climb and too wide to go around, and
-
the Lord and his Goodness sometimes takes us back memory lane,
-
and he takes us to revisit not our past and
-
sin or failure, but to revisit His glory in our past,
-
and sometimes to remember, oh, yeah, I remember, God, you
-
delivered me from so and so. You delivered me from sin,
-
this bondage. You gave me a hope when I had none.
-
You freed me from this when I wasn't free. And
-
you go through this memory of who God is. God
-
takes you into your past to remember who he is
-
and what he's done, so that when you come back
-
through that journey you have the faith and you realize
-
the mountain that was big actually isn't so big. And
-
you say to that mountain, get up and be thrown
-
into the sea. And it is so, it will, it
-
will be done. And we talked about all that last week,
-
and I don't have the time to really share more
-
about that, because today we're going to talk about the
-
God in my future. Say God of my future. Amen.
-
So I'm gonna dive right in, and i am gonna
-
go fast, Okay, and it's on purpose. Don't try to
-
retain it all, just taking what whatever the Lord's doing
-
in your life, and we'll just go from there. Cool.
-
Hebrews chapter eleven, Verse one. Please. Now, faith is the
-
substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
-
One more time, faith is the substance of things hoped
-
for and the evidence. Let's read all together. Now, faith
-
is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of
-
things not seen. A different translation says, faith is the
-
confidence that what you hope for will actually happen. Come
-
on the substance, it's the tangible thing that we have
-
that gets us to what we're hoping for. Here, let
-
me put it in a different way. We're all in
-
a vehicle, and this vehicle is driving us somewhere. This
-
vehicle is called faith, okay, and faith is driving you
-
to your hope. Put it back on the screen, Thank you,
-
my friend. Now, faith is the substance of things hoped for.
-
So the question becomes what are we hoping? Right, you're
-
today looks like what you're hoping for now here in
-
the West and in the US, and and just culturally
-
we've we we use faith, or excuse me, we use
-
hope and wish interchangeably as those the same thing when
-
it's completely opposite. For example, something bad happens and you're like,
-
I really hope it gets better. What you're saying is
-
I really desire and wish for it to get better.
-
That's not hope. Hope is it will happen. It's just
-
a matter of time. Like when my wife and I
-
were going through infertility, I kept saying to her, this
-
will happen, we will have a child. I don't know
-
if it's this month, next month, or the month after that,
-
but my hope is confident it's gonna happen. And my faith,
-
my faith day in day out. We kept trying, we
-
kept believing, we kept praying until what we hope for
-
came into fruition. So our faith is the vehicle that's
-
driving us to where our hope is. So I would
-
challenge you church to stop using hope blatantly or as
-
though it carries no value. Hope is eternal value. Okay.
-
The challenge is that in today's society, we don't know
-
what we're hoping for, so we're confused. Like our hope
-
goes as far as I hope I get my bills paid.
-
I hope that my friend will be better to me,
-
or I hope my kids will listen better, or I
-
hope I get breakthrough in the financial realm, where I
-
hope people can see me or love me or accept me.
-
It goes so so low. We've diminished hope. And my
-
goal this morning, in the next twenty minutes, and please
-
Lord help me, is that we get a pretty clear
-
picture of what hope is, so that maybe we walk
-
out of these doors knowing who we are in the Lord,
-
walking out with confidence we never knew we had, walking
-
out with authority and believing for more than we've ever
-
believed for in our lives. Amen. Amen, Pastors that can
-
you help me? Please? Can you run somewhere from me?
-
I don't I know. I'm known as like the prop guy,
-
and I didn't bring any props today, but I figured
-
we need a prop and I use it the first service.
-
Can you go into the fellowship, Paul, You know those
-
two trees that sit on the side. Can you bring
-
one of them? Just bring one please? Thank you brother.
-
I love Zach. If you don't know, Zach, you're missing
-
out in life. Truly, you don't know. You don't know
-
the most encouraging person you've never met, you know, isn't
-
it true. He's like he just doesn't he doesn't quit.
-
He's just he's like, he'll find the goodness and he'll
-
call it out. You'll be living like garbage and be like, dude,
-
I could just see the man of God. You are man,
-
You're just amazing, and you'll see it right, He'll see
-
right through the ugly and see the beauty. And that's
-
just it's a gift to God. So as he's bringing
-
that for us to know and understand the hope of
-
God and to what we have been called to, we
-
have to go so where in history, we have to
-
go back to the beginning, say beginning. Thank you, Pastor Zach.
-
Just if you can place it right here. I can't
-
wait for what Pastor Joel has to say about this tree.
-
That's what happened in the garden. It fell apart. God
-
planned the garden for goodness and it just okay, well,
-
for us to understand why we even hope and what
-
we're hoping for, we have to go to the original
-
design and the intention of the author. Correct. So when
-
we go back into the garden, this is what this
-
tree represents, the garden of Eden where it began. When
-
we go back into the garden, we find that God
-
created man in whose image and in his image and
-
likeness he formed them, and then he ordained a few
-
things over man to be like. And first and almost
-
he said, be fruitful and multiply. And then he said,
-
I am giving you dominion, rule and reign over everything created.
-
He said, plow this ground and make beautiful things. When
-
God created Atom, he also brought the animals to Atom,
-
and he said, what would you name them? Adam. So
-
not only do we have the ability to rule, to reign,
-
but we also have the ability to imagine with God,
-
co labor with him in our original design. Like we
-
put so much pressure on God to do the thing
-
He's already done, and now it's our job to say, Okay, God,
-
you've done that. You've given me the power, and now
-
I have the authority to rule, to reign and make
-
things happen. And so when Moses was leading Egypt out
-
of or when Moses was leading the Israeli nation out
-
of Egypt and the Egyptians came to kill them, Moses
-
said to the people, watch what God will do. And
-
then God said, why are you crying out to me?
-
Take your staff, divide the sea? Walk. But so many
-
times we're like, just wait till what God will do.
-
Just wait, just wait on God. And there's nothing wrong
-
with waiting. And if you're in that season God's leading
-
you that way, please wait. But I'm telling you, when
-
you understand the same power that raised him from the
-
debt lives in you, You're gonna walk a different way.
-
So in this garden, God created them to rule, to reign,
-
to have dominion, to have authority, to expand. The idea
-
beyond multiplying and expanding, was that as the garden grew,
-
the entire earth would be filled with the knowledge and
-
the glory and the splendor and the wonder and the
-
majesty of this God we worship. Why because Adam and
-
Eve in his likeness, cause him to go that way.
-
We're created in his image. So lo and behold, we
-
know that there was a satan. There was a deceiver Lucifer.
-
And we all know the story the fall in the garden,
-
how the serpent came and deceived Eve. Eve gave out
-
of the fruit. They both ate, and when out of
-
eight their eyes were opened, they began to see things
-
they were never called to see. They began to feel
-
things they were never called to feel. They begin to
-
identify in ways they were never called to identify in.
-
So if you tell me you're a certain identity, I don't.
-
I don't necessarily not believe you, but I know your
-
true identity looks like something else. Okay, So they began
-
to live away. They did it they were never called
-
to live. And watch what happens when God comes into
-
the garden to address the situation. I want to highlight
-
what God says to the serpent. So if we go
-
real quick, we're going Genesis three point fifteen. I believe
-
the first one in Genesis says, I will cause thee
-
God is speaking to the serpent, the devil. I will
-
cause hostility between you and the one, between your off
-
spring and her off spring. She will strike your head
-
and you will strike his heel. He will strike your head. Guys,
-
please understand from the fall from the very first breath
-
of the fall of man, when we lost the image
-
of God. One of the first things God says to
-
the Satan, the one who took authority in the spiritual
-
realm from Adam. He says, there is coming a day
-
where my son will come and he will cross your head.
-
Do you know? Do you know what it means to
-
strike ahead? It means to give a death blow. From
-
the very beginning, God is saying to us, Yes, you've fallen,
-
Yes you fell sure, yes you're not living to your
-
full potential. But if you look ahead, there's coming a
-
day where there's one that will strike the head of
-
the one who deceived you and took your place of authority.
-
Real quick. I'm gonna go real, real, real, real quick.
-
Genesis five twenty nine. Please lameck. Okay, who's lamex? We
-
all know Enoch? Who knows Enoch in the building. Enoch
-
is a guy who lived three hundred and sixty five years,
-
And when he lived three hundred sixty five years, he
-
lived in such close relationship and union with God that
-
one day he was no more because God took him. Okay,
-
three hundredsand how many days in a year? Three sixty five.
-
Enoch lived three hundred and sixty five years, representing one
-
day for every year, in such close proximity that he
-
was no more Enoch. It gives birth, not him, but
-
his wife gives birth to a man named metthus Lah
-
say methuse law Methuselah is the longest recorded individual we
-
know scripturally. He lived nine hundred and sixty nine years.
-
Some of you don't want to live another day, okay,
-
But he lived nine hundred and sixty nine years, and
-
he through him gives birth to a guy named Lameck. Lameck,
-
a guy who grandfather walked in such close proximity, whose
-
dad walked so long. Lamck begins to utter prophetic utterances.
-
And when Noah the scriptures say nay meg name or
-
Lamik named his son Noah, for he said, may he
-
bring us relief from our work and painful labor of
-
farming this ground that the Lord has cursed. What is
-
Lamix saying? He's saying, May there be one that comes
-
in the likeness of the one who steps on the
-
serpent's head and bring us relief from this curse that's
-
been released. So Noah, we know this to be true.
-
There was a flood, and Noah was ordained by God
-
to fulfill this word. And see, all these people in
-
history got glimpses of this hope, glimpses of this hope
-
that you and I carry. And so Noah builds this arc.
-
And in the arc, oh, such a beautiful story. There
-
is eight individuals. And so when the water for forty
-
days rains like crazy, water is coming out of the ground,
-
it's Mayhem for forty days, and the water covered the earth.
-
And God reveals to you and I that the only
-
way from the old to the new is through baptism,
-
when He baptizes the world. All of this a foreshadow,
-
all of this a foreshadow of what's to come. How
-
many in the arc eight? What does seven mean completion?
-
What does eight mean? New beginnings? Oh? Lord, just way
-
too many things to ignore, way too many things, and
-
all these stories. Can you pull up Hebrews eleven? Is
-
it thirty nine or something like that? Watch this. All
-
these people earned a good reputation because of their faith.
-
Remember faith as a substance of things you're hoping for.
-
Excuse me, Yet none of them received all that God
-
had promised. So all these people, seeing the Christ coming,
-
that he's coming. We know he's coming. So we're doing
-
things today that's leading us to tomorrow, and one day
-
we will see. Maybe we won't experience the fullness of it,
-
but we will see it. Hebrews. Actually, this is not
-
this is not back there. But I gotta read this.
-
This is just way too good. This is the moment
-
for it. Hebrews. I gotta where you at Hebrews. One, one, one,
-
you gotta hear. This is just way too good. Long ago,
-
Listen carefully, God spoke many times and in many ways,
-
through our ancestors and the prophets. These final days, he
-
has spoken to us through his son. God promised everything
-
to the Sun and as an inheritance, and through the
-
Sun he created the universe. Listened very carefully. The sun
-
radiates God's own glory and expresses the very character. The
-
sun radiates God's own glory and expresses the very character
-
of God. So all these people are getting glimpses into
-
this sun that's coming. Remember when, oh Lord, remember when
-
Jesus was on the mountain of Transfiguration, and all of
-
a sudden there was Moses and and these two what
-
do they represent? They represent the law and the prophets,
-
you know, just a crazy thought. You don't have to
-
go deep into this one. But you know how God
-
does not live in time, right right? And you know
-
how God, you know, he could transport people from one
-
area to Okay, we're not gonna go there. But God
-
does not live in time. So God is outside of
-
time and we're living in a time zone. But there
-
was a moment that happened on that transfiguration a mountain
-
where Jesus transforms into something Elijah, Moses show up, and
-
I'm wondering if back in history when Moses was a
-
live that's actually when he showed up. Do you know
-
what I'm saying? Because God's not living in time, I'm
-
not trying to get We might get in trouble with
-
that one, but listen, that's not the point. The point
-
is that when Jesus shows up in the natural, he
-
expresses the very promise that God has released. Okay, I'm
-
gonna skip that one for the sake of time. Luke
-
chapter ten. We're gonna go right into the life of Jesus. Luke,
-
chapter ten, verse seventeen. When the seventy two disciples return,
-
they joyfully report to him Lord even the demons obey
-
us when we use your name. Yes, he told him,
-
I saw Satan fall from heaven like a lightning. Why
-
is Satan falling from heaven because heaven has been given
-
to Satan in this realm. When Satan deceived man, they
-
gave over their authority to rule into rain. So Satan
-
took that place. And what Jesus is saying when I
-
have come, I have give watched this. This is so
-
so good. Look verse nineteen. I have given you authority
-
over all the power of the enemy. You can walk
-
among snakes and scorpions and crush them. This this just remind
-
you of something spoken in the garden. Oh this is
-
just so good. I don't know if anybody gets kiddy,
-
but when I see these kind of things, I'm like,
-
ooh so good. It gives me like this confidence that
-
what I believe is real. Like how many of us
-
come here. You don't want to just hear a good mess.
-
You need something that's gonna walk out there with you
-
and break the neck of the enemy. And your life
-
and your kid's life, and your financial life, and your
-
relational life and your marriage. You need something that's real.
-
You need something that's powerful. You don't need just somebody
-
saying to have a good week, see you next week.
-
You need a living gospel that transforms everything. Wooh, thank
-
you God. Watch this verse twenty. But don't rejoice because
-
evil spirits obey you. Rejoice because your names are registered
-
in heaven. So a lot of us take this as like, hey,
-
it's not about what you can do for the Lord,
-
it's about actually getting to heaven. False. What is Jesus
-
saying saying, don't rejoice because you have a hand that
-
can do something. Rejoice because you've been restored to the
-
original identity in Christ. Because when your name is registered
-
in heaven, that's God saying I have given you all
-
that is mine. I have returned you to the original
-
purpose that I have ordained, that you would be fruitful,
-
that you would multiply, that you would have dominion, that
-
you would rule and rain cover the earth with the
-
whole glory of God. Matthew twenty eight real Quick twenty eight,
-
verse eighteen. You know that Jesus came, He lived a
-
perfect life, he died a gruesome death, and then when
-
he was buried for three days, he raised from the
-
dead by the power of the same spirit that lives
-
in us. And when he raised from the dead, Jesus
-
came and told his disciples, what I have been given
-
all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore go, Can
-
you say go one more time? Go therefore, go and
-
make disciples of all the nations. He didn't say go
-
and try. He didn't. So he didn't say go and hide.
-
He said go and make How many of us know
-
that this is not a suggestion, This is not a
-
maybe yes, maybe no. This is a do it because
-
it's on your life to do it. Go and make
-
the disciples of all the nations. So what we have
-
here is we have the Gordon. We have people showing
-
up throughout the Gordon, or throughout history looking forward to
-
the time when Jesus shows up. How many of us
-
know that Jesus is the living, breathing Word of God.
-
So the Word shows up, he makes the menifest presence
-
of God in the very character and nature of God
-
redeems us back. And then what he does is he
-
gives us a commission. So many of us are stuck
-
in win is the end happening? Is it happening tomorrow
-
or is it happening in two years? Is it happening
-
in ten or is it happening in one hundred? Listen,
-
nobody knows, but we know something. I need some shoes, Dennis,
-
Can I use your shoes again? Please? My brother, You
-
all need to see this. Praise the Lord. You see these,
-
This is your hope. It's right there. Second, God redeemed
-
something that happened here through the cross, and he says, go,
-
this is your assignment right here. Go and you don't stop.
-
Can you pull that verse back up in Matthew twenty eight,
-
You don't stop until the nations have been disciples. We
-
don't let go until everything falls under the submission of Christ.
-
Don't you tell me that it's gonna get worse when
-
the Lord said, go make disciples. Don't you tell me
-
that this sickness is gonna have you when in Mark
-
he says, those that believe will lay hands on the
-
sick and they will recover. Don't you tell me you're
-
diagnosis when there's a better and bigger word. Your diagnosis
-
is a shaky ground. But the Word of God is
-
a solid foundation. We have more hope in the surroundings
-
of our current existence than the Word that is eternal
-
through time. And faith will always drive us to what
-
we're hoping for. So if you and I see the
-
words of God and we say, God, you said that
-
the nations will be disciples God, you said, and Mark,
-
let me pull it up real quick. These the miraculous
-
signs will accompany those who believe they will cast out demons.
-
You said that the demons will be casted out. And
-
I won't stop, I won't quit, I won't let go.
-
I won't give in until every demon is gone, until
-
every sick is healed, until every nation is disciple. And
-
that's the hope of my calling. But we're so petty
-
sometimes it's just true, especially in the West. God, just
-
keep me through this day. I'm not saying your day's
-
not hard. I'm not. It's real. It's real. Life is real,
-
Like last night, somebody in my neighborhood got shot, like
-
it's real, like life. I'm not saying what you're going
-
through doesn't have validity or doesn't have meaning, or it's
-
not waightful or not hard, or I'm not saying that
-
at all. I'm just saying the ones from the beginning
-
who saw whatever they saw, no matter what they went through,
-
did not change the outcome of their life, and that
-
was the reputation they earned that when we hear their stories,
-
it empowers something in us that you and I can
-
walk in more freedom, more strength, more ability. And now
-
that the Christ has come, the same one that rose
-
from the dead lives in us. We're unstoppable. What if
-
we start believing that? So it doesn't matter if we're
-
right here in this journey and at the on the
-
other side of that, you know what's happened, you know
-
what's coming. Jesus is coming. It doesn't matter if we're
-
here or we're here because nobody knows, or we're right here,
-
nobody knows. That's not our quest. Our quest is to
-
keep our eyes on the Christ. Keep our eyes on
-
the Christ. Keep our eyes on the Christ. Oh Lord,
-
where should I go? Lord? Real quick? I'm just gonna
-
briefly make some comments practically how we overcome. First John
-
chapter five, the scriptures declare that anyone who believes that Christ,
-
you don't have to put it up on the screen.
-
I'll just paraphrase. You can look it for yourself. Anyone who,
-
anyone can overcome this world if they believe that Jesus
-
is the son of God. And Jesus was revealed in
-
three by three witnesses, by his blood okay, by the
-
spirit who testifies about him, and by water okay, through baptism.
-
Those three things. Anybody who believes in the sun must
-
acknowledge these three witnesses who do not lie. The blood,
-
the water, and the spirit who testifies. Okay, these three things.
-
Later on in Revelations, we can actually pull this one
-
up Revelations. I believe it's twelve. Is it up there?
-
Tell me if it's up there, I'll just read there.
-
Then I heard a loud voice shouting across the heavens.
-
It has come at last the salvation, power and the
-
Kingdom of God and the authority of His Christ. For
-
the accuser, the devil, the lucifer, the one from the
-
beginning that deceived us of our brothers and sisters, has
-
been thrown down to the earth. And the one who
-
accuses them before, that's the one who accused them before
-
God day night. Next verse. Watch this, and they have
-
defeated him. Not they will not, they mu right, not,
-
they have to try. But they have defeated him by
-
the blood of the Lamb, by the word of their testimony.
-
Don't skip the last one. You skip the last one,
-
you lose every time. And they did not love their
-
lives so much that they were afraid to die. The
-
blood Jesus is revealed through the blood. What's the next one?
-
The word of their testimony. That's what the spirit brings
-
to reveal Jesus. And that they didn't love their lives
-
unto death. That's water baptism. What happens when you're baptized.
-
You let go of your old life. You die to
-
all the fears, all the insecurities, all the past, all
-
the demons, all the wrongs, all the hardships, and your
-
race to life to a brand new creation. That is
-
how you overcome. That is what we need to look
-
forward to real quick. Hebrews chapter twelve, Verse one. Therefore,
-
since you and I are surrounded by such a huge
-
crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us
-
strip off every weight. Oh there is a distinction here.
-
I want you to catch this. Let us strip off
-
every weight that slows us down, especially the sin. So
-
weight doesn't necessarily mean sin. Well, don't judge me. I
-
can do this. I'm not judging you. But if this
-
is you should probably listen right I don't care. Maybe
-
you can drink that and nothing's bothering you, but I
-
know somebody else can't. And if you're the one who
-
can't and is bothering you, you should probably listen. Stripping off
-
every weight that holds us back. I want to watch
-
this next part, especially the sin that so easily trips
-
us up, and let us run with endurance the race
-
that God has set before us. How many of us
-
know what the race is? We talked about that just
-
a second ago. It's seeing the nation's disciple, it's seeing
-
every demonic spirit cast it out. Pastor Dwayne mentioned a
-
few weeks ago, we are all full time ministers. We're
-
actually all paid full time missionaries ministers. That's because wherever
-
you go and all that you do, you are a Christian.
-
You know what a Christian is, a christ like one.
-
You know what Christ did everywhere he went. He'll the sick,
-
cast it out, the devil's preach the gospel, love the people.
-
He was hanging out with the broken. He wasn't scared
-
of what they might think about him. He wasn't scared
-
to get his hands dirty. He got in the mud
-
with the prostitute. Oh that's our Jesus. We do this
-
by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates
-
and perfects our faith because of the joy awaiting him.
-
If I can print a picture on your mind this morning,
-
so many times we're used to hearing beholding God, and
-
it's true, you need to behold the beauty of Jesus
-
because when you see him rightly, you can see and
-
reflect what you see. Okay, but this is talking a
-
bit about a different situation to follow Jesus, keeping your
-
eyes on him running a race. By keeping your eyes
-
on Jesus, that means you're looking at the back of Jesus.
-
What is that saying? That means he's going ahead of you,
-
and he's leading the way. He's leading the way. And
-
so if I can imprint a picture, no matter where
-
you are in your situation of life right now, no
-
matter how much you believe in Him, no matter what
-
you're going through right now, if you can, for a
-
moment even close your eyes as I'm speaking, just begin
-
an envision in front of you, maybe not the face
-
of Jesus, but the back of his head, and you
-
see him walking, and I just want you to begin
-
to in envision which way is he going? Is he
-
going to the left or is he going to the right.
-
Is he stopping and waiting or is he going Is
-
he bending down to get to work or is he
-
walking to get to another location. Let's let me tell
-
you something this morning that if you keep your eyes
-
on Jesus, he is your reward. He is your reward.
-
Just stand to your feet. The prerequisite for a life
-
living full of hope is denying yourself in the west
-
where the center of our world and it inconvenience is me.
-
I'm out. I would challenge you this morning to lay
-
down your life for the sake of your King. I
-
would challenge you this morning, if you're here and you
-
don't know this King Jesus, that you would come and
-
be introduced to him. Last week I made a call.
-
There was four individuals that responded to give their life
-
fully to the Lord, and I want to make a
-
similar call. There's a word over this morning that that
-
people are going to come into the hands of Jesus.
-
So we're going to start singing and we're going to
-
start praying, and the Destiny team is going to be
-
up here. But if you know you need to give
-
your life to the Lord and submit not to your
-
own desires, not to your own future, but a real God,
-
a living God, the one who breathed you into existence,
-
the one who formed you, the miracle you are in
-
your mind womb, the one who knows you're tomorrow, the
-
one who knows exactly how you feel right now that
-
if you would yield your heart your mind to him
-
this morning, I would challenge you to surrender it all.
-
But on top of that, when the Destiny Team comes
-
up front for those who don't know what they're hoping
-
for and they just need fresh revelation for their own
-
personal life, on top of the great commission, would you
-
come and get prayed for? The Destiny Team operates in
-
the prophetic and they will speak a word over your life.
-
There's things that will shift. I feel the grace this morning.
-
So two things. If you're giving your life to the Lord,
-
full surrender or rededicating or more fully surrendering to him,
-
please come up. But also if you just need a
-
simple shift, God, give me a vision, give me a
-
clear picture of God, give me something to grab onto
-
and run with endurance with. Would you come up? So,
-
Destiny Team, would you come. We're gonna pray us out
-
and as they worship, don't be in too much of
-
a rush. If you gotta go, you gotta go. Which
-
would you submit to the voice of God that may
-
be speaking to you right now. The way he speaks
-
many times is through conviction. You're convicted to do the
-
right thing in life? Would you do that? Father? I
-
thank you this morning, this afternoon for your beautiful presence. God.
-
I thank you for each individual at the sound of
-
my voice. I rebuke every lie in their minds. God,
-
I rebuke every deceitful thought that might hold them or
-
hinder them from your presence, from your goodness. God, I
-
thank you that this morning the morning of rejoicing and
-
being glad. God, I thank you that this morning is
-
a morning of celebration. We're celebrating the Lord this morning,
-
all your faithfulness, all the good things you're doing, all
-
the wonderful things that you're about to do. In the
-
name of Jesus. We love you God, and we accept
-
everything that you're about to do. Amen.
