  1. So today I'm excited.

  2. I am. I am at the butt end of this

  3. series we're doing restoring the Ancient Pathways of Life, and

  4. and I'm just I'm excited to do the topic I'm doing.

  5. I'm doing the prophetic topic. And I like this topic

  6. because there's so many things. This topic is so vast

  7. that I'm not going to do justice to cover it

  8. even halfway. You know, I'm just going to do a

  9. partial lick of it. But I am excited because my

  10. goal this morning is to restore a practicality to the

  11. prophetic that that goes with us and every single one

  12. of us everywhere we go. That makes sense. So, you know,

  13. in the prophetic topic, it's it's interesting because we do

  14. one of two things. One, it's like I don't want

  15. to hear it. I don't want anything to do with it,

  16. keep it away from me. Two we say, uh, we

  17. put the pressure on someone else, and we like to

  18. receive words. We put it on a person, kind of

  19. like they did the Old Testament, or in certain sects

  20. of our religion, they say, what does the man? What

  21. does the woman of God have to say? What's the

  22. word for the hour? I don't know what the term

  23. they use. What's the thing for the anyway? You know?

  24. So we we put the pressure on somebody else and

  25. we come more as receivers rather than participators.

  26. Does that make sense?

  27. And so I believe God this morning wants to do

  28. something good in our hearts and our souls that would

  29. restore this to us all individuals. Does that make sense?

  30. Okay? So I'll try the best I can this morning,

  31. and you try the best you can just to keep.

  32. The heart open.

  33. Cool, all right?

  34. I want to do something pretty cool this morning. I

  35. want to do a prophetic act. So bear with me. Shana,

  36. would you come on up please? I'm gonna have who else?

  37. Who else? Am I gonna pick on?

  38. Craig?

  39. Please? Would you come? Claara was like, is the heart

  40. that was not me? Terrell? Would you come up real quick?

  41. And I want one more? One more Lord? Who would be?

  42. Who would be? Costra Anchlow? Would you come up? Again?

  43. I had her come up for service. So I'm gonna

  44. ask each one of you, because we're in the topic

  45. of the prophetic, I'm gonna ask you just to take

  46. thirty seconds and pray over the congregation. You can leave

  47. it out of prayer, but if the Lord puts something

  48. in your heart, just release the word okay for today,

  49. for now, for the congregation ye have, for whatever the

  50. Lord might be doing. It might be a word of encouragement,

  51. might be a word of comfort, might be a word

  52. of you know straight, whatever it is, okay.

  53. So I'm gonna give the mic to Shana.

  54. We're gonna go and just thirty seconds, be gracious with me.

  55. I just think that the Lord's saying that there's a

  56. breaking that's happening, and this is a different kind of breakthrough.

  57. It's starting to shake from the ground up, so you

  58. might feel the shaking and then see the breakthrough later.

  59. So if now you're experiencing a shaking, expect the breakthrough

  60. to come.

  61. Come on. Thank you.

  62. I just the Lord gave me a picture of a

  63. pair of shoes, and so I feel like what that

  64. means is that this He's called this congregation to be

  65. those that would put out the leather, get the shoes on,

  66. and then take the prophetic to where you are, to

  67. your job, to whomever you interact with. And I also

  68. hear the other thing I hear is that he has

  69. called New Horizon Church to be those that would be

  70. the breakers of the demonic realm. Come like he's calling

  71. us to take out the shoe leather, and he's saying,

  72. I have equipped you as a body or as a

  73. church to go and destroy the works of the enemy,

  74. to destroy the works of darkness, and that he's actually

  75. saying he's participating with the words that come out of

  76. your mouth, and he's actually sending his angels out to

  77. destroy the demonic realm based upon what's coming out of

  78. your mouth and what you prophesy over those you are

  79. interacting with.

  80. So good, come on, thank you, So first service.

  81. I got a picture of a tree, and on that

  82. tree I've seen fruit, and I feel like the Lord

  83. is saying that all the old fruit is dead and gone.

  84. And so I decree and declare over each one of

  85. you that all the dead fruit is dead and gone,

  86. and new fruit is coming in this season. I also

  87. see in the spirit realm, I see the power and

  88. electricity going through that trunk of that tree, and I

  89. feel like the Lord is saying, I'm coming in power

  90. and authority in this new season for New Horizon.

  91. Come on, solue, I'm hearing the same thing as Craig declaration.

  92. The Lord is saying, I want you to declare who

  93. you are in me, and he says that you are

  94. a royal priesthood, a chosen nation, a city on the

  95. hilltop that cannot be hidden, a light.

  96. Of the war old.

  97. You are filled with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms.

  98. You are righteous and holy.

  99. I feel like, on this one, can you lead us

  100. through like three declarations decorations? Okay, so when he declares it,

  101. let's declare it right after and agree.

  102. I am a royal priesthood.

  103. I am a royal priesthood.

  104. I am a chosen nation.

  105. I am a chosen nation.

  106. I am filled with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms.

  107. I am filled with every spiritual blessings in the revenue.

  108. Helms can't continue, but we're good.

  109. I am righteous. Come on, man, I am holy.

  110. Come on.

  111. I am one spirit with God, one spirit with I

  112. am seated with Christ.

  113. I am seated with heavenly places.

  114. I cannot be defeated.

  115. I can.

  116. I am.

  117. I am as Christ is in Jesus name, in Jesus Name.

  118. Was that it?

  119. Or did you have more? That's it? Come on? Wow,

  120. that's so. I told him a week ago that I

  121. was gonna do that. I'm kidding. They got as much

  122. notice as you did, except Angela. She was here first service,

  123. so she had anyway. So I love I love hearing

  124. all the things that God's doing. You can feel it.

  125. You can feel when when somebody partners with the prophetic,

  126. they're climbing a ladder into the heavenly places, reaching into

  127. the heart of heaven and bringing it into our current reality.

  128. And so the temptation you and I would have is

  129. to put that on people and disqualify ourselves. For whatever

  130. reason you want to come up with, you have it.

  131. And so I feel like the Lord wants to restore

  132. the reality of simple prophecy to us, Okay, And so

  133. this morning I want to do the best I can

  134. to dismantle what the End has put in our hearts

  135. over the years, or over even the centuries as the

  136. church progressed. And I feel like I feel like coming

  137. out this morning, we're gonna be a little bit stronger,

  138. a little bit sharper, a little bit wiser in the Lord.

  139. And I think that we're gonna go out winning a

  140. lot more spiritually speaking.

  141. Cool.

  142. So close your eyes for a second and say Jesus,

  143. open my ears to hear, open my heart to feel

  144. in Jesus' name. Amen. Amen. So this morning, the title

  145. of my message, the subtitle under our series is what

  146. are you saying?

  147. Can you say that?

  148. What are you saying? The emphasis I have this morning

  149. is primarily with the words that come forth from your mouth. Okay,

  150. keep that in mind. Naturally, we are all very prophetic people.

  151. And as we speak this morning, and as I share

  152. my heart with you, I hope that you will realize

  153. that prophetic gifting is all around us. It's in us

  154. and through us. We're called to desire it, to crave it,

  155. and to participate with it. So naturally, the words we utilize,

  156. especially if you're a believer, are prophetic, almost like in

  157. their essence. You know, you can be pathetically pathetically prophetic,

  158. where you declare things that are not of God, but

  159. that still come true. Because the scripture says, actually, let's

  160. put it up on the screen Proverbs eighteen twenty one.

  161. Watch this.

  162. It says death.

  163. And life are in the power of the tongue, and

  164. those who love it will eat its fruits. What he's

  165. saying is, you will reap the consequences of how you speak,

  166. and so death and life are in the power of

  167. your tongue. James writes that if you figure out how

  168. to control this thing, you'll be like perfect.

  169. Like this thing makes grand.

  170. Speeches and it breaks things down, like it can serve

  171. as a blessing, but then it turns around and can

  172. curse something too. Like the power that comes forth from

  173. the words you utilize is phenomenal.

  174. It's amazing.

  175. We see this in the Life of Jesus where he

  176. comes to the grave place of Lazarus and he says,

  177. a Lazarus, come out. He comes to a place of

  178. death and the source of life releases a word of

  179. life that brings forth life.

  180. It's actually an amazing story.

  181. I'm going to go into it a little bit because

  182. it's a very important one that we understand because the

  183. words that we utilize, it's more than just opinions you're spewing.

  184. Sometime you know what's carried on your opinions of spiritual

  185. powers and principalities.

  186. So Jesus comes, he tells.

  187. His disciples, we gotta go because our brother Lazarus fell asleep.

  188. We gotta go wake him up.

  189. He's dead, basically, And so when he gets to the place,

  190. he reaches Martha, and Martha's like, Jesus, if you would

  191. have been here, he would have not died. And Jesus

  192. goes into a journey of trying to get Martha to

  193. believe that the source of life just entered your room.

  194. So would you believe for a miracle. And Martha begins

  195. to delay the miracle for another day, and she says,

  196. I know you're the resurrection, and I know we will

  197. all raise from the dead on the last day. And

  198. Jesus like trying to get these people to believe in

  199. him that life has come, transformation has come, the miracle

  200. is here.

  201. She doesn't get it. Mary comes.

  202. This is the Mary that at the feet of Jesus.

  203. You know what I'm saying. She's a presence girl. We

  204. got Martha's in the room. Those are more like the

  205. analytical this, this, and this needs to get done.

  206. How many Martha's we got in the room.

  207. There's no shame in it. We got some here, you

  208. know what needs to get done. And then we got

  209. a lot of Mary's in the room. I just want

  210. to sit here in the presence and get figured it.

  211. So fout, you know, the food will get ready, the

  212. things will get done.

  213. How many Marys we got in the room. Raise your hand.

  214. I know we got more Marris than Martha. I know

  215. some of you just lazy, but you're a Martha, all right.

  216. We know the truth.

  217. So it's a beautiful marriage when two come together because

  218. the engine works. But really, well you know what I'm saying.

  219. You got the tires and you got the heart. It

  220. needs to happen anyway. So you got both of these

  221. people and both have the same response. So it's not

  222. a question of who God created you to be. It's

  223. a question of faith.

  224. So Mary comes and.

  225. She says, oh, Jesus, if only you had been there,

  226. my brother would not have died. Lazarus would still be here.

  227. And once again she puts this situation of death on Jesus,

  228. and Jesus again tries to say, well I'm here, I'm

  229. the miracle maker, I'm the source of life.

  230. They don't get it, and so.

  231. The scripture says that anger builds up within Jesus, and

  232. then that shortest verse in the scripture is recorded he wept,

  233. and a lot of us we like to relate that

  234. scripture to the humanity of Jesus. That look, Jesus also

  235. had a heart he also knew how to mourn.

  236. He also knew how to weep.

  237. And that's what John is writing actually when he's talking

  238. about the people are saying, look how much he loved

  239. his friend and all this stuff. But if you read

  240. that in context, Jesus is not sad. Why would he

  241. be sad when he's about to go raise somebody from

  242. the dead and he told his disciples, we're gonna go

  243. raise him from the dead. He's sad. No, he's not sad.

  244. He's angry because he's saying, guys, I am life. I

  245. have come to restore, to bring life.

  246. Would you believe in me?

  247. And all they can see is the death. They can

  248. see their issue, they can see their trauma, they can

  249. see their difficulty, they see their situation, and they don't

  250. see Jesus. But Jesus is in their midst and they

  251. continue to tell him about their problem.

  252. So they bring him to the grave because he's angry.

  253. He's like, where have you laid him? Like he's he

  254. can't like the closest people to him don't get it.

  255. So he's like, I just have to show them. So

  256. he gets to the grave and the scripture still says

  257. still angry, as he arrived, still angry, and then he says,

  258. roll the stone away, Roll open up the tomb. But Jesus,

  259. it's gonna smell bad. It's gonna get ugly. Man, how

  260. many times we pray for God to intervene, but we

  261. keep that stone closed in our heart. We don't open

  262. up the places of our heart that need healing. We

  263. want to tell God about the pain and the situations

  264. and the death and the difficulties and the hardships and

  265. what they did and what it happened and how it

  266. should have happened, all this stuff. But yet when Jesus

  267. is in the room, oh that heart is closed. Oh,

  268. don't mess with that sensitive part. I'm still looking for healing.

  269. And healing is in the room. Transformation is in the room.

  270. Your breakthrough is in the room. But no, not that part.

  271. I'm not ready. But Jesus is gonna smell bad. They

  272. roll the stone away, and Jesus is like, God, I'm

  273. saying these words allowed, not for my sake, but for theirs.

  274. I know you heard me. I know you always do.

  275. Then he says, Lazarus come out. He releases that word

  276. of life. How many of us need that word of life?

  277. In Jesus' name, and so it's a beautiful picture of

  278. the power of the world of life. But Jesus also

  279. in a situation as he got close to his crucifixion,

  280. was going to Jerusalem, back and forward, and at a

  281. certain point he walked past the tree that looked like

  282. it was luscious and good, and so he reached into

  283. the tree to pick a fruit. I believe it was

  284. a fig tree, and when he reached in, there was

  285. no figs, there was nothing there, and he cursed the tree.

  286. The next day as they were walking past it again.

  287. You know what happened. The disciples saw the tree that

  288. was and it was cursed from the root. It was

  289. withered from the root up. And Jesus shows us the

  290. power of our words, where a blessing, a good word,

  291. can produce life, and then a negative word, a curse,

  292. produces death. And he shows us that we carry the

  293. power of both in our life. I personally believe that

  294. that tree that looks so good goes hand in hand

  295. with the scripture of we look like we have it

  296. all together, like the we look like we're blessed of God,

  297. but lack the power thereof We look like it's what

  298. it's called is religion where we put on a facade

  299. to show and look at us. We look so good,

  300. but we produce nothing. And so that area of our life,

  301. it's okay to curse it. It's okay to curse the

  302. religion that might be in you. Trust me, you don't

  303. want it anyway. It's okay to curse anything that is

  304. hindering you from the Lord. You see a bit of bitterness,

  305. Oh bitterness in me, you are cursed. You are set

  306. apart for destruction. Be out of me, spirit of animosity,

  307. spirit of hatred, spirit of fear.

  308. All that stuff is cursed in Jesus' name.

  309. You speak a negative word over something that is evil,

  310. it withers. It's what it does. In twenty eighteen, there

  311. was a study done in a little school where a

  312. teacher had their students take two plants and they put

  313. it on the windowstill two exact plants, everything all the same.

  314. And what they did for the next several days is

  315. they watered it the same and got the same amount

  316. of sun. But the destruction was one tree. You speak

  317. of blessing over it, Tell it how beautiful it is,

  318. how amazing it is, how it's gonna flourish, how it's

  319. gonna do great.

  320. And the other tree, you take it and you say, how.

  321. Fat it is, how ugly it is, how it's good

  322. for nothing. It's never gonna account for nothing. It's ugly,

  323. it's withering all this stuff. Seven days, one tree, the

  324. one that was spoken blessing or it was flourishing. The

  325. other tree was withered. Seven days the power of your words.

  326. Ikea actually thought it was great idea. So they did

  327. the same thing. They took an insulated these two plants

  328. out of the warehouse. They took it and put it

  329. side by side, enslated in glass containers, and they had

  330. people record message of goodness over one that they pressed

  331. play on, and then they recorded message of bad stuff.

  332. You know, anything you want to say that is negative, okay.

  333. Thirty days later, one tree was flourishing, really good. The

  334. other tree was withering away. That's the reality of what

  335. we carry. And that's just even for the non believer.

  336. How much more for the believer who partners with Heaven,

  337. who understands we have a mission here on earth to

  338. demonstrate the Kingdom of God and to bring it into every.

  339. Sphere of life.

  340. How much more for those who are activated as believers,

  341. as representation of the King of king and the Lord

  342. of lords here on this earth. You might be upset

  343. over a job you lost, but you might have been

  344. the only Jesus that they would have ever seen. I

  345. want to quickly go into First Corinthians, chapter fourteen.

  346. I'm gonna read verse one.

  347. But in the early Church, the Corinthian Church had a

  348. lot of things that they need a little bit of

  349. correction with, and that was okay. And one of them

  350. was the balance of the prophetic and also the balance

  351. of speaking in tongues. But I want to emphasize on

  352. the prophetic. And Paul writes here in the first verse

  353. the chapter fourteen, he says, let love be your highest goal,

  354. but you should also desire the special abilities the spirit gives,

  355. especially the ability to prophecy. Verse three. The one who

  356. prophesies strengthens, encourages, and comforts. Can you say those three

  357. with me? Strengthens, encourages, comforts one more time, strengthens, encourages

  358. and comforts. So what Paul is laying out, He's laying

  359. out the boundaries of what we do and why we

  360. do it. He's saying, when you prophesy, you have three agendas.

  361. You're either strengthening somebody, you're encouraging them, or you're comforting them.

  362. It's kind of interesting because this word comfort that you

  363. look at, it has a lot to do with past

  364. things that happen, traumatic things that took place. Potentially, maybe

  365. somebody died and there's a word of comfort.

  366. Maybe you're going through a hardship, maybe a persecution.

  367. Maybe something happened that your work stop that work, job

  368. that anyway you get it, something happened bad, and you

  369. need a word of comfort because that is holding you back.

  370. And the one who prophesies.

  371. Is required to go up into the places with God

  372. and to bring down a word that would relieve you

  373. of trauma or hardships from the past. What the enemy

  374. would like to do is utilize the people around you

  375. to get you second guessing about things of the past.

  376. You might be in your place of pain and you

  377. might share with somebody and then somebody's getting you the

  378. second guess everything you've ever done.

  379. They say, well, you should have done this, You could

  380. have done this.

  381. Man, if I was out, would have And you hear

  382. all these three You hear all these things that are

  383. bringing no comfort, no relief, no help. But you, as

  384. a mighty man and mighty woman of God, the one

  385. who knows Jesus, you're a call to say, you know

  386. what the past is, the past, yes, sterday is gone.

  387. You know what. Jesus is alive today. He can help

  388. you out. He can give you a word that needs

  389. to be done for that season. We're so used to

  390. giving people our opinions. Who's got so much information? I'm

  391. telling you they don't need a piece of your mind.

  392. They don't. I'm not trying to be route. They need

  393. a peace of God's mind. They need to They genuinely

  394. need what's in his mind. Comfort deals primarily with past situations.

  395. You look at this word strengthening. The word strengthening comes

  396. from the word edifying, edifying, and strengthening. It's it's really

  397. related to building something. You're building a house, You're you're

  398. fortifying something. Maybe you're shifting things around, you're maturing, you're

  399. you're you're there's something happening, but it's primarily in the now. Listen,

  400. you're going through something right now, and I feel like

  401. the Lord is saying this and this needs to shift,

  402. this and this needs to change. As a matter of fact,

  403. when we have the pathetic words come out. We heard

  404. a word of strengthening.

  405. What was the word changing that you had?

  406. Shaking?

  407. Shaking?

  408. And did you hear falling off to something falling off

  409. breaking apart? I don't know what it was.

  410. But there's even first service.

  411. We had words that are shifting and changing, and in

  412. this part correction happens too. We run from correction when

  413. correction brings the most strength. We run from things that

  414. challenge our life, when those very things are the breakthrough

  415. that we need for life.

  416. We want to stay.

  417. Comfortable, but I'm telling you, the prophetic spirit amongst us

  418. is not a spirit that keeps you comfortable. That's why

  419. he's the comforter. Because you're gonna be uncomfortable. That's just

  420. how it is. If you haven't been uncomfortable for a while,

  421. this morning, I hope that you will be a little

  422. bit uncomfortable so you can lean into the comforter. Okay, strengthening.

  423. What the enemy would like to use your mouth for

  424. is to weaken those around you. He wants you to

  425. see other people's issues, and he wants you to compare

  426. yourself to them, cause them to be a little bit weaker,

  427. so that maybe you can feel better about your own weakness.

  428. That's not a good way to go. That's not a

  429. good way to go. He wants to use your words

  430. to tear people down. He wants to use your words

  431. with the background of judgment, criticism. He wants to utilize

  432. how you speak with the intention of criticism wrapped in

  433. maybe positive language. How many of us know God sees

  434. your heart strengthening one deals with present situations.

  435. And then you got this word encouraging.

  436. I love this word encouraging. We're all called to be encouragers. Brother, brother,

  437. pray for me.

  438. I just need some encouragement. This is this happened.

  439. I'm just dealing with a lot of can you I

  440. need some encouragement. You're not asking for encouragement. When you

  441. ask that, you're asking for comfort that deals with feelings, emotions,

  442. past stuff, Encouragement. That word and encouragement is it's courage.

  443. So when you're asking for encouragement, courage deals with actions.

  444. So when you say, brother, pray for me, I need encouragement,

  445. what you're saying is I know what I need to do,

  446. and I need grace to do it. I need something

  447. that I'm gonna need for my near future. That God

  448. needs to take me into. So I might be sitting here. Wow,

  449. I just see a vision and this situation and the boom.

  450. God's gonna take your strength and he's gonna multiply it.

  451. You're gonna speak with boldness, You're gonna go and you're

  452. gonna transform that. And that's a word of encouragement.

  453. When you speak into the future.

  454. There's times where we see it written that the apostles

  455. will write and the disciples remember those things that Jesus

  456. said after he raised from the dead. There's things that

  457. Jesus speaks in the now that.

  458. Are meant for your future.

  459. Wow, there's words of encouragement. But the enemy, he would

  460. like to use your mouthpiece, your tongue, your prophetic utterances

  461. for things like fear. Well, you better be careful if

  462. you go into that place is kind of dark. He

  463. wants to sirup anxiety within your soul.

  464. He wants you to be afraid.

  465. He wants you to be thinking NonStop of the negative

  466. outcomes of stepping out or doing something God's calling you

  467. to do. Man, some of us are meant for government,

  468. and we're sitting in places of low class places just

  469. because we're comfortable there. And I'm telling you, if you

  470. partner with the encouragement that comes from the Lord, God

  471. will take.

  472. You to places that only he can.

  473. Jesus God forbid that we use our words to discourage

  474. each other from the very things God is calling us to.

  475. We're so afraid of change that we like everything the same.

  476. We like everything where we know what's coming. We want

  477. to control everything. Whether you're a Mary or a Martha,

  478. you still like to be a bit in control of

  479. outcomes and situations. That's a scary place to be because

  480. Jesus rebukes that mindset many many times. You gather so

  481. much and you say that, oh now I can relax,

  482. like you're a withering thing that's going to be gone tomorrow.

  483. And you plan so much. And I'm not saying we

  484. don't plan with.

  485. The Lord, but we exclude him from the very things

  486. that God has called us to. And I'm not gonna

  487. go there. But in First Timothy Paul writes to Timothy,

  488. he says, do not neglect the spiritual gift in part

  489. to you through prophecy when the elders lay their hands

  490. on you. See, when you partner with Heaven to bring

  491. forth a word into your current situation. You're releasing spiritual

  492. gifts to those around you that are desperately needing them

  493. for their walk in the Lord. And I'm telling you,

  494. when you keep that mouth shut, you're withholding from those

  495. around you.

  496. Man.

  497. I'm reading scripture, and I'm reading even in the Old

  498. Testament when God's starting to stir up his justice and

  499. Leviticus and Deuteronomy, and he's saying to the people, if

  500. you see your neighbors, donkey. If you see something and

  501. you don't bring it back, you are withholding something you're

  502. responsible to do.

  503. Serve one another, Serve one another, serve one another. And

  504. in this faith we do it a lot of times

  505. through our words.

  506. In John chapter five, Jesus says, I only do what

  507. I see my father doing. And then John chapter eight,

  508. and John chapter twelve, and John chapter fourteen he says,

  509. I only say what I hear my father saying. Three times.

  510. He tells the people, the words that come forth from

  511. me reflect what I hear. If you and I want

  512. to be good prophesires on this earth, we need to

  513. hear what the Father saying. We're so anxious about a

  514. gift of prophecy when God's just saying, Hey, what is

  515. the good Shepherd saying? Why don't we just lean in

  516. our ears so that we can hear what he's saying.

  517. If we hear what he's saying, it won't be hard

  518. to say what he's saying. We're trying to come up

  519. with things to say when he's just like, hey, just

  520. listen to what I have to say, and we get

  521. in trouble because because then we make things up and

  522. say it feels like the Lord. And I'm not saying

  523. there's anything wrong with making mistakes. I'm just saying, let's

  524. be good. Heres, let's be good. Here's And somebody at

  525. the door told me said, I think that's why God

  526. gave us one mouth and two ears. Yeah. Maybe, And

  527. it's okay to make mistakes.

  528. It's okay to say something that.

  529. You might regret, but it's okay to own up to

  530. that too. We have so much fear around the prophetic

  531. topic that it's ridiculous. Jesus says this profound statement. He says,

  532. I am the good Shepherd, and my sheep what hear

  533. my voice? I want she is to let us thinking,

  534. my sheep hear my voice.

  535. You might be in this room and.

  536. Maybe it's been a long time since you're heard the voice.

  537. You might be in this room and you hear his voice,

  538. you just ignore it. I don't know, but this morning

  539. I want to do something very practical that would release

  540. us into hearing his voice and speaking it out. And Uh,

  541. what we're gonna do in a little bit, We're gonna

  542. lift the key volume up and we're gonna we're gonna

  543. soak for about three to five minutes in God's presence,

  544. where we will allow the voice of our shepherd to

  545. ring loud in our hearts. Again.

  546. In the beginning, you prayed a crazy prayer.

  547. You said, God, open up my ears to hear, open

  548. up my heart to feel. Did you not pray it?

  549. That's on you. And so what we're gonna do is

  550. we're gonna bring action to that prayer and we're gonna

  551. give God the opportunity to speak to us. Now. When

  552. he does, it comes in a still quiet voice.

  553. Many times, maybe you.

  554. Hear something audible, maybe you feel an impression. But this

  555. part of our walk is very, very important for us

  556. to hear his voice over our own lives, because if

  557. we hear it well over our own lives, we'll hear

  558. it well over others, and we'll restore the prophetic utterances

  559. that God's called us to restore.

  560. And it might be a scary thing.

  561. I don't know.

  562. If God speaks to me, listen, he loves you so

  563. much if you just open up your heart, it might

  564. be crazy. You might be like, well, I've never felt

  565. that before. And so what I want us to do

  566. here as we go into this moment. I want us

  567. if you have something you could write on and you

  568. feel like God's speaking something to you, write it down.

  569. If you got your phone, take out your notes. I

  570. want you to be intentional. I want you to set

  571. the Holy Spirit up to speak to you and try

  572. the best you can to avoid all distractions. We'll do

  573. three minutes. Okay, I'll set a time. We'll do three minutes.

  574. I want to make it super intentional, super practical. Forget

  575. about everything else for these next few minutes, okay, and

  576. just pay attention. The Lord might want to you from

  577. something you've been dealing with for twenty years.

  578. The Lord might want to.

  579. Change some perspective that you might have. He might want

  580. to strengthen your building your soul right now. He might

  581. want to encourage you to take steps of faith. He

  582. might want to do something, maybe he's given you a

  583. word for somebody else, but we want to be people

  584. who hear his voice.

  585. Amen, So I'm gonna do this.

  586. Would you lift the volume on the keys please, and

  587. we're gonna take these next. I will set a timer. Okay,

  588. So don't think about anything else except calming your soul,

  589. calm your mind down, don't even pray, just listen for

  590. these moments. Okay. I'm gonna pray a quick prayer over you,

  591. and then we'll let you be Jesus. I thank you

  592. for each person in this room. God, I asked that

  593. you would give him the ears to hear and the

  594. heart to feel. Whatever you're doing and whatever you're saying

  595. in Jesus's name
