  1. Yeah, my parents, they had twins, had a kid and

  2. then another set of twins. And then whatever got into

  3. their mind, they had five more after that. And I

  4. happen to be number 10. I'm not complaining. I'm very happy. Big, beautiful,

  5. wonder family. And today's topic is near and dear to

  6. my heart because we're jumping into what Pastor Dwayne already prefaced.

  7. It's a controversy type of deal thing, but it shouldn't be.

  8. And we're reiterating kingdom values, kingdom mindsets, kingdom agendas, per se.

  9. And our goal this morning is that we're going to

  10. talk about what the kingdom is all about. And we're

  11. going to try to dismantle the weapons that the enemy

  12. has positioned against us that's crept into the bride of

  13. Christ and to our mentality and deceived us on certain levels.

  14. You guys ready? So I will say beforehand, I apologize.

  15. I'm very sorry. In my heart, I have no intention

  16. to offend, to hurt or harm nobody in this room,

  17. nobody watching online. I don't want to shame anybody's experience

  18. of what you've been through, what you've done, or the

  19. mentality maybe that you've had until this point. My biggest

  20. goal and desire is to take you higher into a

  21. place that might be better for us as the kingdom

  22. of God. Okay. So please forgive me in advance, but

  23. more than anything, keep your heart open. Okay. Cause my,

  24. my goal this morning is to tell you kids are okay.

  25. It's okay to have kids. I'm going to talk about

  26. some things that are, that are going to be harmful

  27. because of the way we grew up, but they shouldn't

  28. be harmful to us. Okay, cool. So y'all forgive me

  29. in ahead of time. Cool. So the topic that I

  30. chose when the list of topics came up, this one

  31. was near and dear to my heart just because my

  32. wife and I couldn't have kids for a while. We

  33. actually were married for almost 10 years before we had

  34. a kid. And for five of those years, they were really,

  35. really hard. just because we tried really hard to have

  36. a child, and we believe, we pray, we did everything

  37. we could to have a kid, and we couldn't, and

  38. many of you joined us on that journey to pray

  39. and believe with us, and I want to thank you

  40. for that, and through the power of communion with pastors,

  41. they slipped out, but Joe and Sandy, they sat down

  42. with us. We had communion, and That was a breakthrough

  43. moment for us. And shortly after that, literally two weeks

  44. after that, my wife conceived. And praise the Lord for that.

  45. It's been almost three years since that moment. But through

  46. that power, we were able to have a child. And

  47. we're going to have many more in Jesus' name. Ten

  48. is nothing. We got this. Amen. So this topic is

  49. near and dear to my heart. So when it came

  50. up in our list of topics, I knew I had

  51. to talk about this. And it's such an honor to

  52. talk about it today. Because I believe it's on the

  53. father's heart. His children. Okay. And so I titled this,

  54. no kids, no future. Can you say that with me?

  55. No kids, no future. One more time. No kids, no future.

  56. Very blunt, very direct, very simple, very truthful. Okay. So

  57. I decided to take the liberty to do a dive

  58. into recent studies performed by big organizations that do studies.

  59. I'm going to get into some of those. But as

  60. I was going into the studies, I was a bit troubled.

  61. And it made me really tear up. And so this morning,

  62. I'm going to bring some of these to you. And

  63. I'm also going to bring the scripture to you as

  64. well to help us understand why the current tread in

  65. trend in society is demonic. Okay. So right now there's

  66. something that's called a replacement fertility rate, replacement fertility rate.

  67. We need every female to give birth to at least

  68. two to just reproduce what we have right now. It's

  69. actually 2.1 because you got to account for the mishaps

  70. and certain situations that happen early on. So Every female

  71. needs to do at least two. And this is males too.

  72. You got to understand it takes two anyway. So right now,

  73. since about 2007, we hit a moment in the US

  74. history where it was above two and we tanked right

  75. underneath two. 2007. We hit like a 1.9 something. Okay.

  76. And since 2007, we've been gradually declining in our efforts

  77. in society To reproduce. 1.9, 1.8, 1.9, 1.7, 1.8. Now

  78. we're at 1.59. 1.59. Right now, between the ages of

  79. 25 and 30, two-thirds of the females don't have a

  80. child in the prime of their fertility and don't want it.

  81. They're choosing to not have kids. You know, some of

  82. us might say, what are they doing? This is not

  83. a direct reflection of females only. Maybe it's the men

  84. that don't know that they're men. The females have nothing

  85. to depend on. This isn't just a directional word and

  86. singling somebody out. This is a society that we're living in. Okay,

  87. and so thankfully here in the church and here at

  88. New Horizons, We're not of this mindset, but we don't

  89. also engage in society to change the culture and transform.

  90. So I'm coming with you at 100% passion this morning, okay?

  91. And my goal is that the fire that I have

  92. would light you up and that you would go back

  93. into your society and contend for the future and contend

  94. and believe for something greater than yourself, okay? And so

  95. right now at a 1.59 ratio, You know, that's not

  96. like every mom has to have two kids. It could

  97. be one mom has one kid, but the other has three.

  98. Or one mom has 10, and then she gives a

  99. freebie to like four moms. You know what I'm saying?

  100. But generally, if we're going on average, everyone needs to

  101. have at least two just to replenish. But if we

  102. want to expand and grow, we need to be like

  103. at a three. You know what I'm saying? If you're

  104. at a four, hallelujah. Bless your life. And if you

  105. got more, amen. All the better. But at the end

  106. of the day, we as a society are rejecting the

  107. idea of replacing or replenishing or multiplying or doing our

  108. due diligence as humanity. And so right now, the craziest

  109. thing is that people in the secular world are studying

  110. what is going on. What is this phenomena? What is

  111. going on? And they've put a name to this thing.

  112. It's called the baby bust situation. Baby bust. Now you

  113. and I, knowing that God is all about reproduction, we

  114. understand that this mindset of being a baby bust mentality

  115. falls into the realm of demonic influence. And so we

  116. can call it this morning as it is the baby

  117. bust demon. And it's our responsibility as heaven's answer on

  118. this earth to cast it out. First and foremost, out

  119. of our own mentality, and then out of everybody we encounter.

  120. You guys ready? Let's go right into Genesis chapter 1,

    Genesis 1:27

  121. verse 27. When we are dealing with culture, we have

  122. to understand the basis and the foundation that we stand

  123. on is not feelings. It's not opinions. It's his word

  124. and his scripture. And in Genesis chapter 1, the scriptures

    Genesis 1 chapter mention

  125. talk about on the sixth day, God created male and

  126. female in his image. So it says, verse 27, so

  127. God created human beings in his own image. And in

  128. the image of God, he created them, male and female,

  129. he created them. Watch this next verse. Then God blessed

  130. them and said, blessed. Say it with me. Be fruitful

  131. and multiply. You know what that's called? The baby boom blessing.

  132. Say it with me. Baby boom blessing. So God has

  133. given us a command. By the way, this is not

  134. a suggestion. This is actually written in the fabric of

  135. our DNA. to replenish, to repopulate, to advance and grow

  136. and build and do this thing out there. There's a

  137. Pew Research Center that did the study where they asked

  138. adults that are 50 and under who do not have children,

  139. They asked them a simple question. Why no kids? Why

  140. no kids? Do you want to hear the results? 57% said,

  141. I just don't want kids. Like, that was the first

  142. response out of 57 people. 57% of the people. First

  143. initial honest response. I don't want kids. Do you understand

  144. that this kind of mentality doesn't just happen? This is

  145. a cultural shift over a period of time. I just

  146. don't want kids. 47, 44% said they want to focus

  147. on other things like career, hobbies, personal interests. And so

  148. what they did is the same group of people, after

  149. they responded, they asked, okay, you have no kids. You

  150. wanted to have more personal time. You just didn't want kids.

  151. So how has your life been easier today? Because I

  152. feel like that question really gets into the real reasoning

  153. of why you're not having kids, right? So how has

  154. it been easier? And 90% of these people, or excuse me,

  155. 80% of these people said they have more time for themselves. 79%.

  156. So life is cheaper. They can afford to do more

  157. things they want to do. I want to present something

  158. to you this morning, and it's sobering. That this response,

  159. the attitude, the heart of that.

  160. Response, it's an anti-Christ response. It's an anti-Christ response.

  161. It's an anti-kingdom response. It's an attitude that rejects Christ.

  162. And I know in this church here, we don't have,

  163. we're not dealing with that much, but out there we are.

  164. You got to worry about you. You first take care

  165. of you. It's this attitude of selfishness. and we sacrifice

  166. the future on the altar of the God of self.

  167. We've made idols unto ourselves of ourselves. Think about it.

  168. Even in the subconscious, we're always thinking, how can we

  169. better our lives? What can we do better to grow?

  170. What can we do better to grow what we have

  171. and increase and And, oh, they're affecting me, so I can't.

  172. They're blocked out. Block. Don't bother me. I'm going over here.

  173. Over here. Somebody affected me.

  174. Nope.

  175. That's nope. I'm going to worry about myself. All about me.

  176. This attitude, it's anti-Christ. I want to bring something up.

  177. In Luke chapter 9, the disciples were arguing with the

    Luke 9 chapter mention

  178. same vibe, same attitude. Talking about who's the greatest among them. Selfish.

  179. Same attitude. Same spirit. Talking about who among them is

  180. the greatest? Who among them has maybe great achievements? Self-promotion.

  181. Sacrificing each other on their own titles. His disciples began

  182. to argue about which of them was the greatest. But

  183. Jesus knew their thoughts, so he brought a little child. Huh.

  184. A little child to himself. I want you to catch

  185. this next part. Then he said to them, anyone who

  186. welcomes a little child like this on my behalf welcomes me.

  187. Anyone who welcomes a little one welcomes Christ. It's interesting

  188. how society is rejecting the little ones. I just don't

  189. want them. I just don't like them. They're an inconvenience

  190. to my time. They're an inconvenience to my future, to

  191. my money, to my interests, to my hobbies. But Jesus

  192. welcomes them in. Another part of the scripture says that

  193. their angels are in the very presence of God, the

  194. little ones. They welcome me and they also welcome my

  195. father who sent me. This is very important. Whoever is

  196. the least among you is the greatest. So he takes

  197. a child, puts a child in his lap. And he's saying,

  198. the least among you is the greatest. He is showing

  199. us the body of Christ. He was showing us the

  200. attitude of Christ to be the least. How many of

  201. us know that Jesus didn't come to be served? He

  202. came to serve. How many of us know that on

  203. the day he was betrayed, on that evening, on the

  204. last supper, he got on his knee and began to

  205. wash the disciples' feet? It wasn't about humility. It was

  206. about a lifestyle that we ought to carry. That's why

  207. he said, you must do what I do. He said

  208. to us, you must take my example for if you

  209. do not take this posture of serving one another and

  210. not caring about your own interest but the interest of

  211. your neighbor and the future generation, you have no part

  212. with me. The result of an antichrist mentality has two

  213. devastating results. The first one is abortion. It's real. They

  214. interfere with my future, so Done. In 2022, Roe v.

  215. Wade was overturned. And a lot of us in the

  216. church were like, praise the Lord. Righteousness wins. It was delegalized,

  217. de-enforced legalized over all the states, but still give them

  218. the opportunity to do whatever they want per state. So

  219. some states banned it, some didn't. But you know what

  220. lifted up? Telehealth. You know, right now, 29% of abortions

  221. happen via telehealth. Take a pill, boom. You could be

  222. in a state that banned it and call a doctor

  223. in New York, say, what's up? They'll ship it to

  224. you and New York laws protect their own doctors. How

  225. many of us know that changing legislation is good and godly,

  226. but it does not change a heart? This is a

  227. cultural mind that you and I have been given by

  228. God to go into the culture and say no. No.

  229. Your child matters to the heavenly father, to your future,

  230. to me. I will walk this journey. I will adopt.

  231. I will do what it needs to happen. But it

  232. takes us, the bride of Christ, to stand up in

  233. our rightful place and say no more. We're going to

  234. fight for our future. We're going to fight for the

  235. kingdom of heaven on this earth. Since 2020, there's been

  236. a 21% increase in abortions. Roe v. Wade didn't do

  237. nothing for that. I'm not saying it wasn't beneficial. We

  238. should vote all the more. But I'm saying this is

  239. a heart issue. This is an issue that you and

  240. I are tasked. We can't do it from here. We're

  241. only talking to you. You're the ones. You're the hands

  242. and feet. You're the mouth of God on this earth.

  243. We're here just to stir each other up, encourage one

  244. another to go do the works. to go speak the words,

  245. to go encourage change, transform the culture and society. One

  246. in four current pregnancies result in abortions. Two thirds of

  247. these abortions are happening to females in their 20s. I

  248. want you to think about this. It's not underage. Like

  249. 2% is 17 or younger. We're talking about in the

  250. prime The society has engraved into our minds that kids

  251. are a hindrance. Kids are a burden. Kids are wrong

  252. for what we have in our future. It's quite the opposite.

  253. In Exodus, we find that kids were murdered when Moses

  254. was born. The time of Moses, they took all the males,

  255. threw them in the Nile, killed them all, killed them all.

  256. It's all on the altar of selfishness. Pharaoh, oh my God,

  257. these Hebrews are going to overtake us and turn on us,

  258. kill them all, kill all the boys. The time of Jesus,

  259. we also find the same thing. Herod sent his soldiers

  260. to kill every boy two and under. Why? Because King Jesus,

  261. the light that has come, threatens selfish agendas. That was

  262. a physical manifestation. That was in the seen realm. Right

  263. now it's happening in the spiritual. It's happening in the unseen.

  264. It's happening by a pill. How many of us know

  265. that because kids are written in the fabric of who

  266. we are as people... When you don't have kids and

  267. when you become a society that doesn't have kids, it

  268. leaves a void in your heart. It leaves something that

  269. you we're just called to love on something. We want

  270. to love something. We want to go make babies without

  271. having babies. You'll get it tomorrow. But we've become a

  272. society that's all about self and how we feel. And unfortunately,

  273. it has led us down this path with the second

  274. atrocity almost to say, I'm only talking about statistics right now.

  275. With this void in our heart, it needs to be filled.

  276. We understand that, right? And so it led us to

  277. this number two violation. It's adoption and not the way

  278. you're thinking. I want you to hear me good because

  279. I'm not pointing anybody out. The abortion of kids and

  280. the adoption of pets. Please. I understand that it's like

  281. 70 to 80% of households have pets. There was a

  282. study done with our society with the intention of not

  283. having kids to have pets. And they asked them, why

  284. don't you have a kid? You want to hear some

  285. of the results? 70% say a pet substitutes a child.

  286. You know that there's twice as many pets, pet homes,

  287. as there is kid homes? There's about 160 million homes

  288. in the U.S. with pets. You want to hear how

  289. many kid homes? Under 18. So this is a long list. Long,

  290. long term of time. We got 73 million kid homes

  291. right now. 163 million pet homes and 73 million kid homes.

  292. In 2002, it was about 50-50. We're still growing. We're

  293. still good. 2007, these numbers went bad the other way.

  294. We have right now, we're at a 70% pet home

  295. ratio to a 40% kid home ratio. It's pretty drastic.

  296. It's pretty heavy. So they asked these same people, why

  297. no kids? They said to substitute a child. 69% said

  298. a pet is easier than a child. How do they know?

  299. I don't know. Do you know how many doggy daycares

  300. there are? How much money it is? 48% have said

  301. it's cheaper. The other 50 are realistic. They understand pets

  302. are expensive. 51% of these individuals who do not, who

  303. choose to not have a kid because it substitutes, a

  304. pet substitute says, a pet is equal or more value

  305. to a human. A pet. I want you to go

  306. back to Genesis if you can. Is that Devin back there? Devin,

  307. go back to Genesis 1.28. Watch, fill the earth and

  308. govern it after be fruitful and multiply. Rain over the

  309. fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and

  310. all the animals that scurry along the ground. Notice, and

  311. please don't take offense, it doesn't say confide in the animals.

  312. And I, please, I understand there's scientific, there's emotional things, there's,

  313. I understand. But we're confiding in animals more than the

  314. presence of Jesus. Do you understand that we as a society,

  315. not us in the room, we're perfect, but we as

  316. a society are choosing to look at a face of

  317. a pet, at the face of the living God. We're

  318. rejecting the very blessing that God has given us and

  319. sacrificing our future as a society on the altar of self.

  320. Have a... brother in Christ named Shane Winnings that goes

  321. around college campuses and does viral videos where he records

  322. certain things that are kind of tricky, but he walked

  323. around and with a clipboard, hey, there's these pets that

  324. are being aborted, forced abortions, and we're signing a petition

  325. for the pets that are being aborted to stop them

  326. getting aborted. Would you sign this? And he probably had

  327. like a 90 plus percent ratio of like, yes, I

  328. will sign that. And then the next clipboard is like,

  329. they're doing the same thing to humans. Would you sign that?

  330. It's like, no, I won't sign that. This is real.

  331. Because society has said a pet is not an inconvenience,

  332. but a human is. And that is demonic. So the

  333. question today is, are kids a burden? Wow. The word

  334. burden is a very objective term. Not in society. Society

  335. has labeled burden as a negative connotation, as an oppressive term.

  336. And generally, it's used as an oppressive term. Saying kids

  337. are going to take your money. They're going to take

  338. your future. They're going to take your sleep. They're going

  339. to take everything from you and leave you high and dry. Why?

  340. Maybe that mentality has led us to be such a

  341. separation between the kids you do have and where we're

  342. at now. The attitude that we have leads us down

  343. a wrong path. I want to bring a scripture here.

  344. Matthew chapter 11 verse 28. Watch what Jesus says. Can

    Matthew 11:28

  345. I get the keys whenever there's a chance? Thank you.

  346. Jesus said, come to me All of you who are

  347. weary and carry heavy burdens and I will give you rest.

  348. Next verse. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach

  349. you because I'm humble and gentle at heart and you

  350. will find rest for your souls. And watch this next part.

  351. For my yoke is easy to bear and the burden,

  352. say burden. Burden that he gives us. The burden that

  353. I give you is light or it's easy. I wonder

  354. if it's a kingdom burden, children. It's a burden of blessing.

  355. It's a burden. Of maturity. It's a burden of purpose.

  356. It's a burden of honor. It's a burden that gives

  357. you something to live for. It's a burden of legacy.

  358. It's a burden that gives us. The opportunity to live.

  359. The Christian life out on this earth. Family. Family. is

  360. one of the biggest pillars of society. And if the

  361. enemy knows in the time of Moses, he can snuff

  362. that out. In the time of Jesus, he can snuff

  363. that out. And in your present time, in the 21st century,

  364. if he's snuffing that out at a 25% ratio right now,

  365. what do you think it's going to be in 10

  366. years unless you rise up? Excuse my passion. It's Father's Day.

  367. What do you think is on his heart? His kids.

  368. You're on his heart. So this morning, there's no shame.

  369. There's no condemnation. Some of us have just believed a lie, maybe,

  370. in our history. This morning is just an opportunity to say, God,

  371. I don't want even to listen to what Roman has

  372. to say. I want to listen to what you have

  373. to say. I want to open that scripture and see

  374. who you are, your nature, your character. What you value,

  375. I want that to be the value system of mine.

  376. Some of us carry mentalities of like, well, if I

  377. can't be a blessing in my kid's life, I don't

  378. want kids at all. I'm telling you what, you have

  379. no idea. You have no idea what God has for you.

  380. Some of us are provoked to restore relationships with our

  381. kids right now. There might be a father or two

  382. in this room that's saying, you know what, I haven't

  383. fathered really well. And maybe that's why my kids don't

  384. want to have kids. And maybe this morning is a

  385. moment of, Of like, I'm going to man up. And

  386. I'm going to show what servanthood looks like. Wash the

  387. feet of my kids. Come in humility and say, you

  388. know what? I know I'm wrong. Maybe I'm not. But

  389. it doesn't matter. I'll take that. I'll take that. And

  390. I'll take that. Whatever it is, I'll carry that. I

  391. just want to be restored to my purpose. And that's

  392. being a father. That's being a mother. That's being a leader.

  393. That's being an influencer. That's going into the society that

  394. God has put you in. And say, you know what?

  395. You matter to me. You matter to me. Your future

  396. matters to me. This morning, would you just stand to

  397. your feet? I don't know if you're in the room

  398. and you're convicted to just be a mouthpiece or if

  399. you're convicted to potentially repent or if you're convicted to say,

  400. you know what? I don't even know what he's talking about,

  401. but I know I need to know Jesus. There's an

  402. opportunity this morning to know our heavenly father. So I'm

  403. going to have the destiny, the prayer team come up

  404. just for a quick, quick moment. I know we got

  405. a wonderful car show out there with some food and

  406. fun and fellowship, but this morning I want there to

  407. be an opportunity just to receive healing if you need healing.

  408. If there's past trauma, if you were raised in a

  409. family with bad fatherly or motherly examples and you just

  410. need healing, this is a moment. This is a moment.

  411. If you, maybe you're in this room and you're like,

  412. you know what? I haven't been the best parent, but

  413. I want to move forward. This is a moment. Maybe

  414. you're here and you're past the point of being a parent,

  415. but you're like, you know what? I want to actually

  416. be an instrument in the hand of God. And I

  417. want to be a multiplication on this earth of the

  418. kingdom of heaven. This is a moment for you too.

  419. If there's something that hits you this morning, And you're saying,

  420. you know what? I want to be more influential in

  421. the society. And I want to see it go from

  422. a 1.59 to 1.65 to a 1.75 to a 2.5.

  423. You know that if they stopped abortions today, we would

  424. be replenished as a society. We'd be at a 2.1

  425. as a society. There's no lack of kids. It's just

  426. the discernment of the mind that God's raising us up into. Cool?

  427. Would you close your eyes? Father, I thank you that

  428. this morning is a morning of change, a morning of excitement. God,

  429. that you're going to fire us up. And I know

  430. it's a sobering word, but I know it's on your heart.

  431. And God, you wish the best for your kids. And

  432. here we are. We ask that you would utilize us,

  433. transform us from the inside out to be your hands

  434. and feet on this earth. In Jesus' name, I want

  435. to encourage you to come and pray with somebody. Maybe

  436. there's a pain in your body, or maybe you're giving

  437. your life to the Lord, or maybe there's something you

  438. want to see change in your life. Come pray with

  439. a prayer partner. God bless you this morning.
