  1. Good. In the church, please turn your

  2. Bibles to Proverbs Chapter 30, Proverbs 30.

    Proverbs 30 chapter mention

  3. Today we will look at the importance of God's word.

  4. We will be looking at verses 5:00 and 6:00.

  5. Please stand for the reunion. God's Word and the Bible says

  6. every word of God is pure. He just showed them to them that

  7. put their trust in him. Added on out to his words.

  8. Let's he approve thee and I'll be found a liar.

  9. Let's pray you Lord, thank you for stay.

  10. Who would help me to do this message?

  11. You think the Spirit would help me?

  12. Say the right words and I'll become my nerves.

  13. But you'll be teach us the importance of your words today.

  14. Just name. Amen.

  15. Can't be seated. Thank you for standing.

  16. The first thing we are going to look at today is the Bible's

  17. guidance. We're all in there.

  18. Perfect. We're all sinners.

  19. But did you know that you and I own those perfect, precious, and

  20. the holy book of the whole world?

  21. The Bible. Wow, do you read it?

  22. You should. Do you know why?

  23. It says every word of God is pure.

  24. The Bible's pure words are sustain and strengthen us.

  25. The Bible is a letter from God our Father that helps us get

  26. through life, make a dark dirt Rd. full of ditches.

  27. Those ditches in life may be sent our tribes if we don't turn

  28. on our headlights and drive carefully.

  29. Whatever our tires may get stuck in a ditch.

  30. That's kind of like the Bible. The more we read it, the

  31. brighter our headlights become and we won't get stuck in the

  32. ditch. However, the less we read the

  33. Bible, the dimmer our headlights become.

  34. If we won't see a ditch a yard in front of us, we will get

  35. stuck. The Bible shines a lot.

  36. A light on our path distinguishes good from bad life

  37. from darkness. So on one at Team one of five

  38. says that word is a limp into my feet and line to my path.

  39. This word is in darkness. And we all know that the Bible

  40. is what we need to go through it.

  41. As Christians, we are pogons just passing through.

  42. We're on our way to a better place.

  43. Think of the world as a hard journey and you're going through

  44. it all. But all you have is this map.

  45. That map is the Bible. If you follow the directions on

  46. the map and the signs got put along the path to warn you

  47. upcoming disaster, you'll be successful and reached your

  48. destination. Those sons along the path are

  49. people that God put our lives to God and admonish us.

  50. Whether that's parents, pastors or friends.

  51. God puts people our lives for a reason.

  52. Look back the verse. Look back at verse five ago with

  53. me. Since every word of God is pure,

  54. he's a shielding to them that put their trust in it.

  55. This is the Every line, arrow or direction on that map is pure

  56. and right. If you two want to live the

  57. right way and follow God, you need to read God's word.

  58. Growing up, I used to not take my personal devotions in the

  59. morning seriously. I had lied in that I in that I

  60. had done it or read the sort of song I could find.

  61. My dad said the more we read the Bible, the more we know about

  62. God and when we know him, the closer to him become, The closer

  63. we are to him, The closer we are to God, the more like Him we

  64. become. That's like one of things close

  65. to the family. Now, if you want to be like God,

  66. if all of his ways, you need to read His word every day.

  67. If you're not faithfully reading God's Word every day, then don't

  68. say you desire God's will for your life because you really

  69. did. You would immerse yourself in

  70. God's Word. The Bible is our guide, so we

  71. looked at the Bible's guidance. Now let's look at the Bible's

  72. power. Please turn your Bibles to Acts

  73. 1124. And while you're turning in

  74. there, let me read you. Isaiah 40 verse 8.

    Isaiah 40:8

  75. Isaiah 40 / 8 says the grass where the the flower faded but

  76. the word of our God will stand forever.

  77. Aren't you glad that God's word will endured?

  78. That's never going to come to an end.

  79. The Bible is everlasting. The Bible is a powerful book for

  80. generations who have been trying to stamp out the existence of

  81. the Bible but it kept enduring. You should be in the Bible.

  82. You should be there in your bibles and Acts totally 4.

  83. Acts totally 4 says but the word of God will multiply.

  84. He was 412 says. For the word of God is quick and

  85. powerful sharper than any two wedges sword you see even to the

  86. dividing asunder of soul and spirit and and under the joints

  87. and marrow and is the discern of the thoughts and the touch of

  88. the heart. It says the word of God is

  89. powerful. It was so powerful that the

  90. people even seriously should do. The scriptures from top to

  91. bottom were amazed. Luke 431 to 32 says and came

  92. down to the Capernaum at city of Galilee and taught them on The

  93. Saturdays. And they were stonish at his

  94. doctrine, for his word was with power.

  95. Wow, this really states it here. Clearly here in this passage,

  96. God's Word is not normal, and we each have this one.

  97. God's words are not normal, and we each have at least one side

  98. copy of them. God's Word is powerful #1 the

  99. Bible's power, #2 the Bible's #1 the guidance, #2 the Bible's

  100. power. Now thirdly, let's look at

  101. respecting the Bible. Go back in verse six of probably

  102. 30 again with me. It says add it on up until his

  103. words. Let's see you prove thee and

  104. that'll be found the liar. There are many versions of the

  105. Bible today. However, the Bible says that we

  106. shouldn't add to it. Another thing is that some of us

  107. take the Bible for granted or we just don't care about it.

  108. I recall seeing the kids junior church and kids put their rival

  109. on the floor underneath their seat.

  110. They put the most holy book in the world on The Dirty floor.

  111. One time I wanted to stick at throwing it to the most holy

  112. book in the world on The Dirty, filthy floor.

  113. Also somewhere that some people took God's holy word, ripped out

  114. the pages, and dropped it all on the toilet.

  115. These things shouldn't be we should have more respect for

  116. God's holy word. Please turn your vows to me and

  117. my 85. We need to reverence the Bible

  118. The M I8 verse five says and and Ezra opened the book and decided

  119. of all the people for he was above all the people and when he

  120. opened it all the people stood up.

  121. All the people stood up for the New York as a word that's

  122. reverence. Those people get the respect the

  123. the Bible, the respect they deserved.

  124. The Bible was not just the book, it's alive.

  125. But I like to see someone who really cares about the Bible.

  126. So on one 19170 says, hold it on me up and I shall be safe and I

  127. shall have I will have respect into the statues continually.

  128. Is that our prayer and commitment to God to have

  129. respect for statues? So I want it seen. 15 says I

  130. will meditate in that presence and have respect into their

  131. ways. As Christians, we ought to have

  132. respect for God's holy word. People back then treasured the

  133. word of God so much we didn't have a copy of it.

  134. The hunger for God's words so much that they came impressing

  135. crowds. We need to respect God's word.

  136. We looked at the Bible's guidance on the Bible's power

  137. and respected the Bible. The last thing I want to look at

  138. with you today is using the Bible as our spiritual weapon.

  139. Please turn your balance to effusion. 617 The Bible is our

  140. spiritual weapon. I wish we can fight the devil.

  141. If using 617 says take the hell of salvation and the sword of

  142. the spirit, which is the word of God, how are you going to fight

  143. through the battlefield without a sword?

  144. You can't have your sword on the wall for decoration.

  145. Let it sit there and get rusty and dusty.

  146. Need to daily take up that sword and practice with it.

  147. Needs to get together as fellow Knights and spar with each other

  148. once in a while. If you did spar with someone

  149. today would you fall short? You never know when the devil is

  150. going to attack or what kind of siege weapons he's going to use

  151. against your church. First Peter 5/8 says be sober.

  152. Be vigilant because your advocate of the devil is a wrong

  153. line. Walketh about seeking human made

  154. devour. The devil is hard at work trying

  155. to destroy and take down everything that the Lord has put

  156. in place as Knights under his wave in of love.

  157. We need to take a stand and go out recruiting of this for his

  158. purpose. Some people claim to be

  159. Christians, but when the time comes to take a stand, they

  160. won't defend the Bible. Alexander Hamilton said those

  161. who stand for nothing fall for anything.

  162. We need to take the Bible and use it to daily fight the devil.

  163. In conclusion, God's word is very important.

  164. It's our guide, it's powerful, it's worthy of our respect and

  165. it's our weapon. We need to treasure God's word

  166. daily. Hope this message was an

  167. encouragement to you. Let's pray you will think for

  168. this message our opinions. Help us with to apply this

  169. message to our daily lives, to let you regard us and remember

  170. its power to respect it and use it to fight the flesh, the

  171. world, and the devil. I prefer the rest of the day to

  172. go well and just say Amen. Amen.

  173. And I'll tell you this, many years ago now, I I came to the

  174. conclusion that the Bible was the most precious thing that we

  175. have. And.

  176. You know we he didn't mention this, but the way we treat our

  177. flag with respect, I mean we don't even, we don't let the

  178. flag touch the ground. We make sure there's a light on

  179. it at night. We have ways that we folded and

  180. and do all these things with it. And that's just a flag.

  181. I mean it and it represents a lot but it's just a flag of a

  182. country, right. And we treat that was such

  183. respect. And then it comes to the word of

  184. God that represents everything that God gave to man, and we

  185. don't treat it with anywhere close to the same respect.

  186. I've been doing this for years and years and years and years,

  187. but you will never see my Bible sitting on the floor.

  188. You'll never see anything else sitting on top of my Bible.

  189. I don't put my phone on top of it.

  190. I don't put anything on top of it.

  191. I have a stack of books that I'm carrying.

  192. Doesn't matter how thin or small or whatever they are, the Bible

  193. always goes on top. And it's just, I mean, it's not,

  194. it's not anything I'm going to get a medal for, but it's just

  195. something that, you know, the the Bible is valuable.

  196. And the way that we show respect for it shows us, shows how

  197. valuable we think it is. And I mean, it's it is just a

  198. book, right? You can a Bible can be replaced

  199. when it starts to fall apart. But your Bible ought to be the

  200. thing that you take care of the most.

  201. I've had this Bible, I think for for 25 years.

  202. This Bible, I use it for everything.

  203. And yet you see it's not falling apart.

  204. It's still in good shape because I take care of it.

  205. It's not just another book. It's the word of God.

  206. And we ought to treat it as the word of God.

  207. And you ought to think about that.

  208. I I haven't really mentioned it too much.

  209. I I think I've mentioned it a few times.

  210. But, you know, it's something that we ought to be teaching our

  211. kids how to do is take care of the word of God.

  212. You know, it's not a it's not a weapon, it's not a it's not a

  213. toy, it's not a, you know, it's not just some other book.

  214. We ought to treat it as the word of God and not just the fact

  215. that it is the word of God that we can hold in our hands.

  216. It's all the things that he mentioned spiritually, too.

  217. And, you know, the the way that we treat it and the way that we

  218. we respect it shows how much we value it.

  219. Could you imagine how valuable you would hold your Bible if you

  220. knew that you were never going to be able to get another copy

  221. of it? That they may come sooner than

  222. we think? And then what?

  223. And I again, I know it's just paper and and and leather or

  224. whatever your Bible is made out of, but you ought to treat it

  225. with respect. You ought to reverence it.

  226. You ought to to to to show the world that you love it, and you

  227. ought to not treat it like any other book.

  228. And that's just a couple things. He didn't really mention this

  229. necessarily, other than mentioning that that people

  230. throw it on the floor or set it on the floor and it doesn't

  231. really bother them. Whatever else you know, unless

  232. there's absolutely no other place to set it and you have to

  233. set it down because somebody's dying and you have to catch

  234. them. You ought not to put your Bible

  235. on the floor, right? Set it up on something.

  236. Put it on a shelf, put it somewhere where it you.

  237. It shows that you have that respect for it and let the Bible

  238. be what's on the top of that stack, wherever you're at.

  239. And it's it. It is just it's a small thing.

  240. It's a small thing. But we do it for a flag.

  241. Why can't we do it for the word of God?

  242. It's it's it. I think there ought to be rules

  243. for carrying your Bible in the same way that we have rules for

  244. flag etiquette, Rules for Bible etiquette.

  245. Maybe we'll make up our own and. Post them in the back or

  246. something. But anyway, good message and

  247. just a good reminder of what the word of God is to us.

  248. Let's stand and we'll have a time of invitation.

  249. We'll pray and then the piano will play and give you an

  250. opportunity to make a decision. If the Lord's dealt with your

  251. heart tonight, Father, we love you.

  252. Can we thank you for the message?

  253. I thank you for all the young men and their dedication to to

  254. wanting to do what's right. God, I pray that you'd help them

  255. to keep that desire and that you just use them in a great way.

  256. Now and going forward, God and and each of our young people are

  257. young ladies as well. God, I pray that you would just

  258. help them, all of them, to know what your will is for their life

  259. and that they'd be willing to do it When I would find out what it

  260. is. And got to thank you for the

  261. message tonight, I pray that you'd use it in our hearts.

  262. But thank you for all you do for us.

  263. In Jesus name, Amen.
