  1. Josh is gone and Jackson, if you can switch me over here, but the

  2. Josh is gone. So I'm going to do the teen

  3. Sunday school class in here this morning and you've got an

  4. outline, hopefully. Does anybody not have an

  5. outline? You should have one of these.

  6. Brother Kevin's got some extra ones.

  7. Did anybody not get one? Teen should already have theirs,

  8. hopefully. But all right, I'm going to try

  9. to give you a crash course in this this morning.

  10. All right? This is evolution, Evolution and

  11. science. And there's a lot of things that

  12. we've been talking about. There's really this this whole

  13. course is an apologetics course. And it's designed to help us to

  14. have confidence in the Bible. Does anybody know what

  15. apologetics is? If you could just put it in a

  16. simple sentence, What is apologetics?

  17. Yeah, a defense of the faith is essentially what it is, right?

  18. What I believe and why I believe that that's what apologetics is.

  19. And and so we've been going through this series in our class

  20. for quite some time now. We went all the way back and we

  21. looked at a lot of different archaeology and all the

  22. archaeology points to the fact that the Bible is true.

  23. All of the all of the places that are mentioned in the Bible.

  24. There's been many times when scholars, all the smart people

  25. have said this, this place is mentioned in the Bible, but

  26. there's there's no evidence of it.

  27. And all of a sudden they find evidence of it.

  28. And you know, even King David for years and years and years,

  29. the archaeologist said there is no King David.

  30. There is no, there is no, there's no evidence of him

  31. anywhere. It's just a myth.

  32. It's just something that Israel made-up to have somebody to

  33. follow, kind of like, you know, Zeus or, you know, some of these

  34. other mythical people. And then all of a sudden they

  35. started finding all kinds of things with David's name on it

  36. to prove that there was actually not only a King David, but that

  37. he was as powerful as the Bible says that he is essentially as a

  38. king and many, many other things like that.

  39. But then evolution is also the same way.

  40. There's many things that evolution came along and I don't

  41. have time to give you all of the history of it, but I actually

  42. here's here's what we've been looking through when it comes to

  43. evolution in science. And of course I don't have it

  44. now. Is there a reason it's not

  45. following me here? Let me let me disconnect and and

  46. try reconnecting again. Sorry, give me one second here.

  47. See if this does it. It's not well, let's see what

  48. happens here. Let me let me disconnect.

  49. I think I, I think I've had to do this a couple times before.

  50. Let me try this real fast. I'll reconnect.

  51. Sometimes I try to set it all up ahead of time and sometimes when

  52. it sits there for a little bit, it doesn't connect.

  53. There we go. All right, so let me get to the

  54. slideshow. There we go.

  55. All right, so this is what we've been discussing in in our class

  56. and the history of evolution. Let me just give you give you

  57. give it to you very, very briefly.

  58. All right, Charles Darwin is credited with coming up with the

  59. theory of evolution. He did not come up with the

  60. theory of evolution. He popularized the theory of

  61. evolution. It's been around for many, many

  62. years. But when Charles Darwin went and

  63. visited the Canary Islands and, and some of the other islands

  64. out in that same general area, he observed some different

  65. things that he felt gave credibility to evolution.

  66. And so he came back and he wrote a book called On the Origin of

  67. Species. And that book became very, very

  68. popular. And really during that entire

  69. time, you got to, you got to kind of understand what was

  70. going on in world history at that time.

  71. In the late 1800s and mid, mid to late 1800s, Bible skepticism

  72. was very, very high and minute. Much of that was coming out of

  73. Germany. There was a lot of higher

  74. critics in Germany. And during that time a lot of

  75. Americans went over to study in Germany and came back with a

  76. with a strong criticism of the Bible.

  77. Doubting the stories in the Bible, doubting the miracles,

  78. doubting the the deity of Christ, doubting many of these

  79. different things. And when evolution was

  80. reintroduced, if you will, or popularized during that time, it

  81. gave them some other way to explain how everything got here

  82. other than creation. And so many, many, many people

  83. jumped on this theory of evolution.

  84. It became very, very popular. But you've noticed that I've

  85. said theory of evolution because that's all it is, and that's all

  86. it ever has been. Nothing in evolution has ever

  87. been proven. They're still today looking for

  88. a missing link, something to prove that evolution is the way

  89. everything got here. And they have their, their,

  90. their proofs and different things like that.

  91. But slowly but surely, every one of those proofs gets disproven.

  92. And they, many times, even the evolutionists themselves come to

  93. the conclusion that, OK, that is, you're right, that's not a

  94. proof for evolution. But we have this.

  95. And then they, they stick with that one for a while and it, and

  96. it, and it, and it looks really good.

  97. And then all of a sudden, oh, that one got disproven and

  98. disproven too many times that even the evolutionists say,

  99. you're right, that one's not a good, that one's not a good

  100. proof. But we have this and they just

  101. continually keep moving to different ideas about how

  102. everything got here, about how evolution could be possible and

  103. everything else. Now, I will say this, I give

  104. Charles Darwin a little bit of a pass because back in the mid to

  105. late 1800s, they didn't have near the information that we

  106. have today. And even with what we're going

  107. to talk about today, the fossil record, even with the fossil

  108. record, Charles Darwin said we don't have much information.

  109. Paleontology is in its infancy. We don't have much in the fossil

  110. record. But I can, I can tell you that

  111. as more research is done, as as paleontology grows, the field of

  112. paleontology grows, more fossils are found.

  113. I believe it's going to prove the theory of evolution.

  114. Well, that was 150 years ago. Now we have a lot of fossils,

  115. millions and millions of fossils that have been found.

  116. Much research has been done through paleontology and nothing

  117. has proven evolution. And I'll give Charles Darwin a

  118. pass because he didn't have a lot of information.

  119. But I don't give the evolution is today a pass because there is

  120. so much information out there. There's no way that evolution

  121. could possibly be true. And one of the greatest

  122. evidences against evolution is the fossil record.

  123. So I'm going to give you a crash course in this.

  124. We've actually been in this for about 3 or 4 weeks, maybe even 5

  125. weeks by now. And we've covered a lot of

  126. different things in here. But I'm going to give you a

  127. crash course in the fossil record this morning.

  128. So you have your outlines there. Let's jump right into this.

  129. Number one, this is your little dot at the top.

  130. The fossil record is used to prove evolution, but it actually

  131. disproves evolution. That's the fossil record is one

  132. of the one of the biggest evidence is if you want to call

  133. it that, that that the evolutionists have and you know,

  134. everything has turned out to be a hoax.

  135. We, we spent a lot of time talking about the ape men, the

  136. ape men that were, you know, you've, you've probably all seen

  137. the transition chart that goes from an ape to a human, right?

  138. I mean, that's kind of when you see evolution, that's a lot of

  139. times what you picture this little guy that started as an

  140. ape and slowly, gradually stood upright and next thing you know,

  141. he's a man, right? They found all of these

  142. transitional forms, if you will, all of these ape men.

  143. But it turns out that every single one of them was either a

  144. hoax or misproven. They built an entire ape man out

  145. of a tooth that they found. They found a tooth and based on

  146. that tooth, they built an entire man out of that thing.

  147. That was that was a hairy, you know, long arms like an ape.

  148. The you know, the, the, the, the digits that that are all

  149. separated makes it easy for them to grab on the trees and

  150. everything else. We finally found proof based off

  151. of a tooth and then they found out that it was actually a pig's

  152. tooth. They, they found fossils that

  153. were buried in, in like an old limestone quarry.

  154. They, they, they found a leg bone, they found an arm bone.

  155. They found a few different things.

  156. They, they, they made this entire man, ape man out of this,

  157. out of these bones that they found.

  158. And it turned out when they started doing more research into

  159. it later on, that it was actually not even real bones.

  160. Somebody faked it, painted him to look old and then buried him.

  161. And then he magically found it. You know, The thing is when you,

  162. when you find something that proves evolution like that, not

  163. you get fame, you get money, you get popularity, you get all of

  164. those things. And So what would what, why

  165. would somebody not want to go find these evidences for

  166. evolution, right? I found a transitional form.

  167. Now you're speaking all over the world.

  168. Now you're writing books. Now everybody knows your name.

  169. So that the, the, the temptation is very, very strong to, to

  170. fudge these things and to, you know, to apply these hoaxes

  171. into, you know, come up with all these different things that,

  172. that prove every one of them when it comes to those ape men

  173. has as, as all of them have been proven to either be 100% ape or

  174. 100% human or complete hoax. One of one of those three things

  175. has always been what has come. And even the evolutionists agree

  176. with that. It's not just that I'm a

  177. creationist and I'm saying it from my perspective, but this

  178. is, this is the fossil record is where of course they find these

  179. things. Fossil record is just a little

  180. bit different than that, but we'll talk about that.

  181. So the, the fossil record, this is number 2 is the is vast, it

  182. is huge. There are millions and millions

  183. and millions of fossils that have been found over the course

  184. of, of of all these different years.

  185. And I'll say this, this is your Third Point there.

  186. Charles Darwin knew that the fossil record did not provide

  187. evidence for his doctrine, but he believed this problem could

  188. be explained by the incompleteness of the record and

  189. the rudimentary state of paleontology in his day.

  190. I explained that already, but that's just a way for you to

  191. write that down. The incompleteness of the record

  192. is what he blamed for not having evidence of evolution.

  193. Now, it's not incomplete. Now there's so many fossils.

  194. Now we know a lot from the fossil record.

  195. And so the fossil record has some problems.

  196. And for evolutionists, I will say, and today there are 200

  197. million fossils in museums worldwide.

  198. And that doesn't even include all the fossils that people have

  199. found and kept for themselves. I mean, there's millions and

  200. millions and millions of fossils that have been found and nothing

  201. that that proves evolution. So here's some problems with the

  202. fossil record for evolution, which obviously are not problems

  203. for us. They help creation.

  204. They, they prove creation. So here you go #1 the fossil

  205. records geologic column has major problems, Major problems.

  206. Now I will show you what the geologic column looks like.

  207. And I know you can't see it all from there, but you have the

  208. Paleozoic age, you have the Mesozoic age, and you have the

  209. Xenozoic age. Those are the kind of the three,

  210. the three major ages that the fossil record of the geologic

  211. column is broken up into. And all the way at the bottom,

  212. the pre Cambrian layer. This, this layer is, I can't see

  213. it myself, but it's 250 million years old, some even more than

  214. that. But this, this fossil column

  215. consists of layers of the Earth that supposedly represent

  216. millions of years of time. There's supposed to be 3 major

  217. eras, 13 stages. The Paleozoic, there we go. 540

  218. to 250 million years ago is the oldest stage.

  219. That's where you have. Of course, they said that

  220. everything started off as single celled organisms and gradually

  221. got more and more complex until you ended up with, you know,

  222. that Organism crawling out of the primordial ooze that got

  223. here by The Big Bang. By the way, there was a huge

  224. explosion and all of this stuff just got here.

  225. Last time I checked, an explosion does not help things.

  226. It destroys it, right? Could you imagine if there was a

  227. giant explosion and all the sudden the next thing you know,

  228. there was a a giant jumbo jet that just magically assembled

  229. itself, right. And a jet, by the way, is far

  230. less complex than even one single human cell.

  231. There is still things, even with the technology that we have

  232. today, there are still things that they do not know about a

  233. single human cell that they have not been able to figure out

  234. either how it works. They're still discovering things

  235. that are inside the smallest of the things that are inside the

  236. cell, inside every single cell. And you have trillions of them

  237. in your body, inside every single cell.

  238. You have the the equivalent of a gigantic factory operation going

  239. on in every single cell in your body.

  240. And they multiply by the thousands and even the even the

  241. millions daily. You lose cells, you gain cells.

  242. It's just so, so, so complex. And all of this happened by a,

  243. by a, a massive explosion. But then the, the cell formed

  244. and it got bigger and more and more complex and next thing you

  245. know, it crawled out onto the land and then that thing mutated

  246. and had something else. And you know, the, the problem

  247. with that is mutations are not usually good, right?

  248. That's why you don't see all kinds of mutations out here

  249. everywhere. Mutations don't normally live,

  250. right? One of the things that they say

  251. is that a bat came from a rat. OK, think about some of these

  252. problems that you would have. OK, bats can't see right?

  253. They use echolocation and they fly to catch their food and they

  254. eat. They eat bugs and everything

  255. else. If a rat suddenly became 1/2 bat

  256. and now it's either blind or it has wings and it but it can't

  257. grab his food because the mouse's body is far too heavy to

  258. fly, right? If by chance there was something

  259. that became 1/2 mouse half bat, it's not going to live a week,

  260. let alone millions of years to keep evolving, right?

  261. And and that's the same thing that you see with every so

  262. so-called transitional form. Those transitional forms can't

  263. live, they're mutations, right? A mutation does not usually

  264. survive and if it does, it usually doesn't survive very

  265. long. And if it does, it does not

  266. reproduce as that mutation. It can, right?

  267. Because it's a mutation. And so the whole theory of

  268. evolution and everything getting here by mutations falls apart

  269. when you just think about it from a logical standpoint.

  270. You don't see things walking around with two heads, right?

  271. Or if you do, it's very, very rare, right?

  272. And, and they're not reproducing other things with two heads with

  273. every generation that comes after that, right?

  274. Because it's a mutation. And So what what you end up

  275. happening with, with all of these things, the age of multi

  276. celled organisms, the fish, the amphibians, and gradually they

  277. got more and more complex. And the next thing you know, now

  278. you have everything that we have today with all of the multi

  279. celled organisms and all of those other things.

  280. And so I got to move along quickly or we're we're not going

  281. to get very far. But let me give you some major

  282. problems. I'm I'm skipping all of these

  283. things here. This is the this is problems

  284. with the geological column here. Some some very, some very

  285. difficult things that they run into.

  286. And the first is the problem of depth.

  287. According to evolution, every layer represents millions of

  288. years. OK, I'm going to this is not any

  289. of your points here. All right, I'm going to give you

  290. some more of these, but this is just kind of setting the this

  291. the table for what I do want to talk to you about with this.

  292. But layers of millions of years of sediment that gradually laid

  293. down South. Each layer would be millions of

  294. years thick. And if every strata, if every

  295. layer was visible in one part of the Earth, by the way, that's a

  296. huge problem for them because there is no geologic column that

  297. starts at the bottom and goes all the way to the top anywhere

  298. on Earth. Nowhere on earth do we find

  299. that, but it would be 100 to 200 miles thick if it was.

  300. Could you imagine going 200 miles deep into the Earth?

  301. There is. There is no place on Earth where

  302. the geologic column is visible because of that.

  303. So that's there's nowhere on Earth of that scene.

  304. And we've got a lot of different things that go along with that.

  305. But here's here's their first problem letter AA major problem

  306. with that is the missing strata. The missing strata, they're

  307. unconformities are layers in which millions of years of

  308. supposed evolutionary history are missing, right?

  309. You have places on Earth where there are these strata, but you

  310. go from something that they say is 150 million years old, you

  311. skip layers and you go to something that is 50 million

  312. years old and there's layers that are missing in between

  313. there. If it took millions and millions

  314. and millions of years to lay those things down, how are those

  315. layers missing Where they at, right?

  316. Why are why are they not everywhere on earth?

  317. If it took millions and millions of years for that to happen, why

  318. don't we see them everywhere? It should be in every layer,

  319. right? And they're just, they're just

  320. not there. 14 major non conformities just in the Grand

  321. Canyon layers that are missing in the Grand Canyon.

  322. Fourteen of those layers that are just they're just not there.

  323. If evolution is true, the billion years will be

  324. represented by deep layers of rock.

  325. But again, those layers are missing.

  326. Here is another major problem with the geologic column.

  327. This is letter B. The geologic column is all is is

  328. often jumbled together. Sorry, this is this.

  329. Is this this slide here? Problem is that the geologic

  330. column is often jumbled together.

  331. Sorry if I get this a little bit out of order or whatever.

  332. I'm skipping a lot of slides. I'm skipping through this very

  333. quickly because I want to try to try to get to as much of this as

  334. possible. But that's another problem.

  335. It's often jumbled together. And by that I mean this.

  336. They've identified how old these layers are.

  337. What you have is a layer that they say is 150 million years

  338. old that's buried in the layer above something or below

  339. something that they say is 250 million years old.

  340. Or you have a layer that's supposed to be 540 million years

  341. old because it's the oldest is the pre Cambrian layer.

  342. And you find that on top of other layers that are supposed

  343. to be younger than that. How is that possible?

  344. If they got laid down over millions of years, there should

  345. be no jumbling together. Everything Everywhere on the

  346. earth should always be in the exact same order, right?

  347. How do you explain? To lay down, here's another huge

  348. problem. Fossilized trees that Pierce the

  349. geological column. The geological layers have

  350. fossilized trees in them. What happens when a tree dies?

  351. It rots, falls over, continues to rot, and it goes back to

  352. dirt, doesn't it? How long does that take?

  353. 100 years. Let's give it a lot of time and

  354. say that it took 100 years for that tree to die, for it to rot

  355. standing up, for it to fall over and go back to dust.

  356. Let's say it took 100 years for that to happen, right?

  357. These trees that they found fossilized Pierce layers that

  358. are millions of years old. It starts in layers that are

  359. let's just say 75,000,000 years old and go up to layers that are

  360. 50 million years old. Is it, is it possible at all for

  361. a tree to stand for 25,000,000 years?

  362. No way possible, right? It's not going to live that

  363. long, number one. But even if it's dead, it's not

  364. going to stand for that whole time.

  365. But if evolution were true and everything was laid down over

  366. millions of years and that tree stood there while all those

  367. millions of years accumulated to accumulate those layers, right?

  368. Well, how do you explain a tree standing up through multiple

  369. layers? It happened all at the same

  370. time, right? Through a worldwide flood.

  371. That's the only way that you can explain that it happened.

  372. Something in order for something to be fossilized.

  373. OK, what happens when you shoot a deer?

  374. And let's just say, you know, obviously for the sake of this

  375. argument, you just shoot a deer. It dies.

  376. You don't clean it, you don't do anything.

  377. OK, let's just skip the shooting.

  378. Let's say you find a deer on the side of the road, right?

  379. What happens to that deer? The rots, let's say.

  380. Let's say no vultures found it. It didn't eat nothing.

  381. Ate it up right? But that deer rots and what

  382. happens to it? Eventually all the skin goes

  383. away. Eventually all the meat goes

  384. away, and then you're left with bones, right?

  385. What happens to those bones? Eventually they deteriorate to

  386. the point where they're just like paper and they they

  387. crumbled. It takes a little bit of time,

  388. right? But that's what happens.

  389. That's why you don't walk through the woods and just see

  390. thousands of deer bones everywhere, right?

  391. Because I mean, think about how many deer have died over the

  392. course of the last 200 and 5300 years that we, that people have

  393. been on this continent, right? It just, it doesn't happen

  394. because they all eventually disintegrate and they disappear,

  395. right? But how do you have then deer in

  396. the fossil record or fish or anything else in the fossil

  397. record? Something that is fossilized

  398. cannot be fossilized if it takes millions of years for those

  399. layers to build up around it, right?

  400. It's not going to fossilize that way.

  401. It would be gone long before it had time to do all of that

  402. stuff. But if something is buried very

  403. quickly in a mudslide or in a volcano or something like that,

  404. it's it's fossilized. It's frozen in place just

  405. exactly like that. In the fossil record.

  406. They have found dinosaurs that are in the process of giving

  407. birth. They found, they found dinosaurs

  408. that were sitting right on top of eggs that still had the

  409. embryo inside the egg. How does that happen over

  410. millions and millions of years? It can't.

  411. In order to be fossilized, it has to be buried very quickly.

  412. And that's exactly what you have happening with these trees.

  413. Fossilized trees that are piercing multiple layers of the

  414. geological column are not going to happen over millions of

  415. years. It's going to happen instantly.

  416. And that only gives us more proof that the biblical flood is

  417. true and that that's the way that everything happened.

  418. So let me give you another one. Here we go skipping around #3 #4

  419. sorry, Letter D. Another problem is the out of

  420. place fossils. Out of place fossils.

  421. It's another problem that you have.

  422. And, and when I say that, I mean this.

  423. A lot of fossils have been found in the wrong layers.

  424. So what they have is all right, your dinosaurs and all of those

  425. other things where they, you know, they were the ones that

  426. came along first or not even that you're single celled

  427. creatures. You're you're really small

  428. things that that everything else kind of grew out of.

  429. It would make sense that those were in the oldest layers,

  430. right? They would have to be because

  431. they were the ones that died first.

  432. They got buried over multiple years, millions of years.

  433. They got buried first. Problem is you find things that

  434. they say are supposed to be 250 million years old in the 50

  435. million year old layers and you have things that they say are 50

  436. million years old that are buried in the 250 million year

  437. old layer. How is that possible?

  438. If it died and all of those live down there, and then evolution

  439. happened and all of those things came from those things, then how

  440. do you, how are those fossils jumbled?

  441. Well, there's only one way to explain it.

  442. They were all buried at the same time, all at the same time, and

  443. with a worldwide flood, right? That's the only way that you can

  444. possibly explain that. Let me give you #2 the fossil

  445. record. First of all, the geological

  446. column has major problems #2 the fossil record does not contain

  447. the countless transitional creatures that Darwinian

  448. evolution requires. OK, it would be one thing if

  449. there was thousands and thousands and thousands of these

  450. things we could say, all right, somehow we have to explain this

  451. to be able to say that evolution is not true, right?

  452. But here's the problem for evolutionists.

  453. Not only are there not thousands and thousands and thousands of

  454. transitional creatures, there are none.

  455. They have never found a transitional creature.

  456. There's been times when they thought they have, you know,

  457. there's a fish that lives way, way, way deep in the ocean that

  458. actually has feet. And they're like, oh, look at

  459. this. We found, we found, they found

  460. it in the fossil record 1st. And that was their, that was

  461. their evidence for evolution. Well, then they found out that

  462. actually somebody caught one. It was really deep in the ocean,

  463. but they caught it, brought it up, and now they find out that

  464. there's actually hundreds of them in the ocean.

  465. It's not evidence of evolution. It was something that stayed the

  466. same for their supposed millions of years, right?

  467. They found it in a million years old layer, but they're still

  468. alive today. So obviously they're either

  469. evolution did not happen or it's still in the process of

  470. evolving, or that's just the way it was made, right?

  471. It was the way it was created. And obviously we know that

  472. that's the case. So the the transitional forms

  473. that are supposed to be there are not Letter A Darwin admitted

  474. that the fossil record didn't contain these partly formed

  475. creatures. Darwin was at least a little bit

  476. honest. Now he was he, you know, Darwin

  477. does not get a pass because he was a Bible critic.

  478. He didn't believe the Bible and that's why he came up with this

  479. theory in the 1st place. But at the same time, he was at

  480. least a lot more honest than a lot of the evolutionists are

  481. today. Darwin admitted that there was

  482. not a lot of evidence for his theory.

  483. Darwin admitted that they didn't know these different things.

  484. And Darwin even admitted that if someday they were able to

  485. disprove his theory, he would discard it.

  486. He never did that by the top, by the end of his life, he didn't.

  487. He didn't discard his theory, but at least he was honest

  488. enough to say this is a theory. The ones who are alive today

  489. that are promoting these ideas of evolution are not honest

  490. enough to say Darwin was right. There is no evidence for

  491. evolution. But Darwin at least admitted

  492. that there was not enough evidence to prove that there

  493. was, you know, transitional creatures found in the fossil

  494. record. But his idea was, hey, over the

  495. next however many years, as paleontology advances and as

  496. more fossils are found, we will find those transitional

  497. creatures. Well, they never happened. 150 a

  498. 175 years later, there are still no transitional creatures that

  499. have been found in the fossil record.

  500. That's a huge problem for evolutionists because literally

  501. their entire theory is based on the fact that everything was a

  502. transitional creature at some point, and there's none.

  503. There's none. Let me give you another point

  504. here. Let us see.

  505. Evolutionists claim to have found missing links, but when

  506. they're examined, it's evident that they're not the kind of

  507. evidence that would stand up in court.

  508. If you were to take evolution and put it on trial, you would

  509. not find any of these transitional creatures.

  510. Evolution is claimed to have found missing links, but when

  511. they're examined, it's evident that they're not the kind of

  512. evidence that would stand up in court.

  513. Nobody would. Nobody would.

  514. Nobody would say that evolution is true if you were to present

  515. the evidence on both sides. Let me give you a letter D the

  516. fossil record. Sorry, jumping around here.

  517. Let me jump farther here. I'm skipping a lot.

  518. I wish I could give you all of this, but the fossil record

  519. disproves disproves evolution and that it does not contain the

  520. countless transitional creatures that Darwinian evolution

  521. requires. There just is not the evidence.

  522. So that's a huge problem for evolution is because the fossil

  523. record does not contain the countless creatures that

  524. Darwinian evolution requires. Here's another problem for

  525. evolutionists #3 the fossil record shows creatures appearing

  526. suddenly fully formed with no evolutionary history.

  527. That's a big problem for evolutionists.

  528. First one, first reason why is the suddenness.

  529. Let me let me jump up here. The suddenness, the Cambrian

  530. layer is is kind of where this where this explosion took place,

  531. so to speak. But the suddenness of the

  532. appearance of creatures has even been given the name Cambrian

  533. explosion or biology's Big Bang. The Cambrian layer is named

  534. after the rocks in Cambria, Wales.

  535. That layer is supposed to be 500 to 600 million years old,

  536. supposed to represent the beginning of life.

  537. It's, it's very, it's very early, at the beginning of the

  538. Paleozoic era, as we already, as we already mentioned and showed

  539. you, but they call it the Cambrian explosion because a

  540. huge variety of fossil creatures appear in these rock layers

  541. fully formed. In other words, you would think

  542. that there would be layers below it that would have all of these

  543. transitionary creatures in it, but that's not the case.

  544. This Cambrian explosion shows all of your animals, all

  545. completely fully formed, 0 transitional forms in that

  546. layer. So it's a huge problem for

  547. evolutionists because how did those get there?

  548. Where did they come from? If they came from evolutionary

  549. transitions, then there should be all, there should be

  550. evolutionary transitions everywhere in those layers.

  551. But they're not. They appear suddenly, all of a

  552. sudden in those, the layers that they claim to be the oldest, all

  553. of these animals appear fully formed, no transitional forms

  554. whatsoever. And again, that's a huge problem

  555. for them. That's a big problem for

  556. evolutionists. Here you go, letter B Darwinism

  557. predicts that the fossil record will show that creatures

  558. gradually evolved, but in fact it shows creatures appearing

  559. fully formed. Missing from the fossil record

  560. are the millions of years of slow development from the

  561. supposed first simple life form below the Cambrian layer.

  562. So you have the pre Cambrian layer.

  563. And in that pre Cambrian layer there should be all kinds of

  564. transitional forms, because in the Cambrian layer you have all

  565. of these animals fully formed. But here's a problem.

  566. There are no transitional forms in the pre Cambrian layer

  567. either. So how did they get there?

  568. Well, there's one way to explain that, and that is a worldwide

  569. flood. That's how they all got buried

  570. at the same time, very suddenly. Here's another problem with the

  571. fossil record. For evolutionists, the fossil

  572. record shows complexity from its earliest layers, and we kind of

  573. discussed this already a little bit, but complexity from the

  574. earliest layers. Letter A.

  575. According to the Darwinian doctrine of evolution, life

  576. arose from a simple creature 1 celled and developed into ever

  577. higher life forms, creatures such as bacterium to higher and

  578. higher life forms. But that's not what the fossil

  579. record shows. There is no single celled

  580. creatures that gradually got bigger and bigger.

  581. There's none of that. It's there's no simple creatures

  582. in the fossil record. Everything just shows up.

  583. Letter B creatures appear not only fully developed, but with

  584. incredibly complex features, things like trilobites.

  585. And if you've ever been to the Creation Museum, they have a lot

  586. of different fossils in the Creation Museum.

  587. In fact, they even have some fossils in the Ark Encounter.

  588. They have a very large leaf that is fossilized from a tree in the

  589. fossil record. Guess what?

  590. Leaves die and in just the course of less than a year, they

  591. get hard and they get soft and brittle and they crumble, right?

  592. A leaf can't lay there for millions of years while layers

  593. form over the top of it. It has to be buried all at once

  594. in order for that to happen. So the bat here's a lot of

  595. different things. The oldest bats have the ability

  596. to fly and detect insects with echolocation organs.

  597. They all had those in the fossil record, the trilobite eyes,

  598. 15,000 lenses, and some of the species of trilobites.

  599. That's not a simple single celled creature.

  600. That's very complex. No such thing as a simple

  601. creature. Microbiology has taught us that

  602. a bacterium is more complex than a modern city.

  603. Just one, one little cell, even plant life.

  604. Plants, by the way, do math. Do you know that obviously

  605. plants need sunlight to live because that's what they use for

  606. photosynthesis, right? What they've done is a bunch of

  607. different experiments to try to see how these plants do when you

  608. take them out of the sunlight and put them in a dark room.

  609. And what they found is that these plants will actually do a

  610. complicated math problems, if you will, to figure out how to

  611. store the stuff that they already have so that they can

  612. stay alive while they're while they don't have the sunlight.

  613. And then when you put them back out in the sun, they, they, they

  614. do these complex calculations again to figure out how to start

  615. this process all over. And, and, and, and there's just

  616. so much, there's so much that goes along with all of those

  617. things to just prove that there's nothing.

  618. There's no, there's not these simple little one celled

  619. creatures. You don't find them anywhere in

  620. the, in the fossil record letter C.

  621. The complexity of creatures at every level of the fossil record

  622. disproves evolution. Life appears in all of its

  623. amazing complexity from the very, very beginning.

  624. Here's #5 problem with the fossil record for evolution is

  625. the fossil record exhibits stability or stasis.

  626. You've heard of homeostasis, same state, the stability of

  627. species rather than change. And that's a big problem for

  628. evolutionists as well. Here's Letter A Creatures not

  629. only appear in the fossil record fully formed, as we already

  630. talked about, but they also retain the same form and habits

  631. throughout their existence, even over supposed millions of years.

  632. There are bats in layers that are 150 million years old, and

  633. there are bats in layers that are supposedly 50 million years

  634. old that are the exact same. There's no change in the 100

  635. million years between those bats.

  636. If evolution was constantly evolving and creatures were

  637. constantly evolving through evolution, then there should be

  638. changes in 100 million years. The problem for evolutionists is

  639. there are no changes between the 150 million year old bats and

  640. the 50 million year old bats. There's no change at all.

  641. Now obviously we know that that's that, that the earth and

  642. history that we have from the Bible doesn't give near that

  643. much time. 6 to maybe 7000 years old is the oldest.

  644. The Earth could be maybe 10,000 years old at the very, very

  645. oldest, not millions of years. So we know it didn't happen over

  646. millions of years anyway. But even on top of that, it's a

  647. big problem for evolution. It's because 100 million years

  648. and everything is supposed to be gradually changing and there's

  649. no change in 100 million years between the creatures that are

  650. buried at those oldest layers and the creatures that are

  651. buried in the youngest layers. That's a problem for them.

  652. It's a huge problem for them because it just, it just proves

  653. that everything has stayed the same, that the evolution, the,

  654. the change that that evolution requires just didn't happen,

  655. especially the way that they said it did.

  656. So there's a lot of different quotes by a lot of different

  657. evolutionists. Even this is 1 from Johns

  658. Hopkins University, he said. I've demonstrated A biological

  659. stability for species of animals and plants that I think would

  660. have shocked Darwin. Something tends to prevent the

  661. wholesale restructuring of species.

  662. Wonder what that something could be.

  663. Maybe it's God, huh? Maybe the Bible is true after

  664. all. But this is this is a bat that

  665. supposedly dated to 50 million years old looks very, very, very

  666. similar to a bat that you'd see today if you saw a bat skeleton

  667. and and and saw what his bat skeleton looks like.

  668. It looks very, very, very similar to that bat because the

  669. problem is there have been no changes Letter B.

  670. This proves that layers of sediment.

  671. I'm sorry, I'm, I'm, I'm jumping ahead, letter B on the top.

  672. The stability of creatures disproves Darwinism.

  673. If evolution is true, living things would continue to change.

  674. All right, Number six, the uniformitarian view is now

  675. rejected even by evolutionists. Now I've got to do this very,

  676. very quickly because Charles Lyell, Charles Darwin, Thomas

  677. Huxley, those were all men who were very popular during that

  678. time and helped popularize the idea of evolution.

  679. Thomas Huxley was called Charles Darwin's bulldog.

  680. He was called Darwin's bulldog because he was the one that was

  681. out there. Charles Darwin was not a very

  682. outspoken guy. He was not a guy that was out

  683. there doing all these speeches and championing evolution.

  684. Although he wrote the book. Thomas Huxley, who was also a

  685. Bible critic, found Charles Darwin's book and he became the

  686. champion for the cause of evolution.

  687. He was the one that was giving speeches and being very

  688. passionate about getting this idea of evolution out to the

  689. masses. And so he was one of them.

  690. And then Charles Lyell also was a student of Charles Darwin.

  691. And Charles Lyell came up with the idea of uniformitarianism.

  692. And uniformitarianism basically says that everything continues

  693. at the same rate as it always has.

  694. So you look at the river in the bottom of the Grand Canyon and

  695. you can tell that the the the river at the bottom of the Grand

  696. Canyon is carving itself, carving itself deeper by 1 inch

  697. per year. So if we take that calculation,

  698. then we can see how deep the Grand Canyon is, and we can say

  699. that it took this many millions of years for the Grand Canyon to

  700. form. OK.

  701. Even evolutionists reject that idea today because it's very,

  702. very, very easy to see that those things happen even today.

  703. Look at the floods that just happened in Texas, right?

  704. A small Little River that gets a massive flood can carve A

  705. gigantic river in a matter of an A couple hours or a day, let

  706. alone millions of years, right? Even through rock layers.

  707. There's been a lot of evidence of that.

  708. And, and, and I'll try to share some of this with you.

  709. I may have to do this next week. I want to finish this for you

  710. without just kind of leaving you hanging.

  711. But maybe, maybe we'll, maybe we'll do this in Sunday school

  712. next week because I'm pretty much out of time.

  713. I don't want to go too long, and I want to explain a little bit

  714. more of this for you. Brother Josh is going to be

  715. surprised to find out that he's not teaching Sunday school next

  716. week. But I just want to give you a

  717. little bit more in the way of this because there's so much,

  718. there's so much to this. But the fossil record is really

  719. the greatest evidence that we have against evolution and in

  720. favor of creation. Obviously, you look at the ape

  721. men, it's very easy to prove that they're not evolutionary,

  722. right? They're either ape, they're man,

  723. or they're fake, right? There's a lot of other things

  724. that that prove evolution is not true and prove that creation is

  725. true. And I'm not just saying that

  726. give us evidence. I'm talking about that prove

  727. that evolution is not true, right?

  728. And like I like I'm saying with this, even the evolutionists

  729. agree that uniformitarianism, and this is one of their biggest

  730. arguments for years and years, Uniformitarianism, look, look,

  731. everything's, everything's the same as it always has been.

  732. Even they reject this idea now they've moved down from it

  733. because they're saying you're right.

  734. There's no way that this proves evolution.

  735. They're still not saying creation is how everything got

  736. here, but they're willing to move the goal posts.

  737. Now, let's just say and Charles Lyell with this idea of

  738. uniformitarianism, the past is the key to the present is has

  739. been disproven so many times that even evolutionists, the

  740. majority, if not all of them say, OK, you're right.

  741. Unitarian uniformitarianism is not, is not true.

  742. We know that because we can see it.

  743. And you look at volcanoes that erupt and how they completely

  744. changed the landscape in just a matter of hours.

  745. And it's just, it's enough to say that the past is not the key

  746. to the present, right. So we'll, we'll discuss this

  747. next week. I'll finish this out.

  748. Maybe I'll slow down a little bit and give you the last of it

  749. a little bit slower and give you give you a few more things that

  750. go along with that. But let's pray and then we'll

  751. we'll finish up for this morning.

  752. Father, again, we thank you so much for your goodness to us.

  753. We thank you for the opportunity that we have to just prove that

  754. the word of God is is is not only reliable and true, but that

  755. we can stand on it. We can, we can trust in it

  756. everything that we find in it, not just these.

  757. Stories of creation and the flood and all of these other

  758. things, but every part of it is true and we thank you for that.

  759. I pray that you would just help us to be stronger in our faith

  760. when it comes to these things and be able to give an answer to

  761. every man that asketh the reason of the hope that is found in us

  762. through Jesus Christ. And may this be a help to us as

  763. we go forward. Thank you again for all you do

  764. for us in Jesus name, Amen.
