  1. Good. Thank you, Brother George, take

  2. your Bibles this morning, if you will, and turn over to Second

    2 Timothy 3 chapter mention

  3. Timothy Chapter 3. Second Timothy Chapter 3.

    2 Timothy 3 chapter mention

  4. Unless you have had your head under a rock, then you're aware

  5. that on September 10th at 3:00, Charlie Kirk was gunned down by

  6. a cowardly sniper's bullet. I don't know if there's any

  7. other way that you can say it, and maybe you haven't really

  8. been aware of who he was before this, but it'd be almost

  9. impossible for you to not know who he is now.

  10. Charlie Kirk was a a bold voice for truth in an ever increasing

  11. godless culture. And, and, and there's no denying

  12. that this, that this nation is moving farther away from God,

  13. that this, that the world is moving farther away from God.

  14. But he was a husband. He was a father.

  15. He was a, everything that I've heard from his testimony, a

  16. Christian. And it's been strange.

  17. It's been a really strange thing for me and I know I've mentioned

  18. this to a few of you and you've said the same thing.

  19. I just have not been able to stop thinking about it.

  20. And I don't know why. I think I think maybe a lot of

  21. it has to do with the fact that, you know, I mean, I feel like I

  22. lost a friend and I never even talked to the guy.

  23. Never never met him. You know, I, I've watched a lot

  24. of his video clips and things and, and the way that he

  25. expounded on not just the conservative values, but the

  26. Christian values. And you know, when I got an

  27. alert on my phone, like a, like a news story, just a minute

  28. after he got shot. And of course he lived for a

  29. little while after that. And in my mind, the first thing

  30. was, all right, he's in critical condition, but he's stable.

  31. He's going to be all right. And just a few minutes later he

  32. found out that he died and so young at the same time.

  33. And I don't know if it's that that just won't let me stop

  34. thinking about it. I don't know if it's the sense

  35. of maybe feeling a little bit unfulfilled because of how much

  36. he did fulfill in his short life, but you know.

  37. You think you? Think back through history and,

  38. and a lot of the heroes that we know of are a lot of the people

  39. that we consider heroes, military and, and nation and

  40. everything else were young men. You know, a lot of our, a lot of

  41. the generals that we know about were 303540 years old when they

  42. died. And, and yet their names are so

  43. well known in history. And I think Charlie Kirk is

  44. going to be one of those whose name is very well known in

  45. history. I don't remember exactly who

  46. said, in fact, it might have been him that said it, but he

  47. said, you know, not since Woodstock has there been such a

  48. generational change in the country.

  49. And I do believe that that's the case.

  50. I believe that that a generational change is, is

  51. happening. I believe that it, that will

  52. continue to happen. But Charlie's, Kirk's legacy

  53. cannot just end with admiration. I think it, I think it needs to

  54. translate into action. So what do you do?

  55. What do you do after something like that happens?

  56. What, what do you do? What do you go from here?

  57. And it's a very different. Type of message that I'm going

  58. to preach this morning. But I want to offer you my

  59. thoughts and answer that question.

  60. What do we do now? And I don't want this to come

  61. across as a be like Charlie Kirk message.

  62. I want this to come across as be like Christ.

  63. But when we find somebody who exemplified just exactly what

  64. Christ wanted him to do in his life, I think we can take that

  65. example and use it as a way to help us be more like Christ.

  66. So what do we do now? I want to give you my thoughts

  67. this morning. Some things that I wrote down

  68. and, and maybe some of you, I, I, I, I wrote some of those

  69. thoughts down and, and put it in a Facebook post, which I don't

  70. usually do all that often, but I put some of those thoughts in a

  71. Facebook post. So some of you maybe will

  72. recognize a little bit of this, but what do you do?

  73. How do you, how do you, how do you go on from here?

  74. That's the question that I want to answer this morning.

  75. So let's pray and we'll look at a few things.

  76. Father, again, we thank you so much for your goodness to us and

  77. for an opportunity that we have to to know you as our Savior.

  78. And God, I pray that you'd help us as we reflect this morning on

  79. the life of a of a man who seemingly did everything that he

  80. could for you. I pray that you'd help it to be

  81. a help to us and that that his example would be an example to

  82. us. But more importantly that this

  83. would point us to Christ, that would point us to the cross and

  84. it would point us to doing more for you.

  85. But the time that we have left on this earth may be a help to

  86. us this morning. And we thank you for all that

  87. you do for us in Jesus name, Amen.

  88. Want you to understand. First of all, this morning that

  89. perilous times will come. That's my first thought this

  90. morning. And and we find that in Second

    2 Timothy 3 chapter mention

  91. Timothy chapter 3 and verse #1 the Bible says very, very

  92. plainly this know also that in the last days perilous times

  93. shall come. That word perilous means

  94. dangerous. I know that for many years.

  95. Look, Paul said this back in his day and he felt like the Lord

  96. was coming back. John in Revelation wrote the

  97. same thing at the end of of his book.

  98. Even so come Lord Jesus, he was ready for Christ to come back.

  99. He said behold, I come quickly and and for generations they've.

  100. Expected that this was the. Generation where Christ was

  101. going to come back, and there was.

  102. A lot of things that. That fall in line with what we

  103. find here in Second Timothy chapter 3.

    2 Timothy 3 chapter mention

  104. Men shall be lovers of their own selves.

  105. Covetous boasters, Proud blasphemers, disobedient to

  106. parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection.

  107. Truce Breakers, False accusers, Incontinent fierce despisers.

  108. Of those that are good traitors. Heady, high minded lovers of.

  109. Pleasure more than lovers of God, having a form of godliness,

  110. but denying the power thereof. And he says from such turn away.

  111. But those are all characteristics are that are of

  112. things that are going to happen in the last day.

  113. And I don't know if. There's anything that you can

  114. find on. That list that's not happening

  115. in our world today. The time of Christ is.

  116. Coming and it's getting closer and if it's not going to be in

  117. our. Generation, I can't help but

  118. think that it's going to be in the next generation or the

  119. generation after that. But I think Christ is going to

  120. be here in the next 10 years. I don't know, I'm not

  121. predicting, but if you look at if.

  122. You look at everything. That's happening in our world

  123. today, certainly. I don't know how you can say

  124. that we should not be ready for the coming of Christ tomorrow.

  125. We shouldn't be. Ready for the coming of Christ

  126. today, he could come today and everything that.

  127. Needs to be. Fulfilled would be.

  128. And I'm looking forward to that. But he says as.

  129. Part of those last days. Perilous times shall come.

  130. Perilous times shall come. And I'd.

  131. Hate to say that this is the new.

  132. Norm, but it seems like maybe that's the.

  133. Case. Many of you maybe at least

  134. recognize the name Matt Walsh. She's a conservative

  135. commentator. He tweeted this.

  136. The trans agenda is losing they're.

  137. Losing on every playing field in every.

  138. Area of American life. We've defeated them politically,

  139. we've defeated them culturally, but understand this now is

  140. precisely. The moment when trans militants

  141. are the most dangerous. They've lost.

  142. The game is over now they're. More desperate than ever.

  143. More. Full of hatred and anger than

  144. ever. They're going down, but they'll

  145. take as many sane, normal people.

  146. With them as they can. It's going to get worse from

  147. here. Be on your guard.

  148. That was two weeks before Charlie Kirk was murdered, and

  149. he wrote this in the days after his murder, two weeks after, two

  150. weeks ago, he said. I tweeted this two weeks after I

  151. tweeted this. Charlie Kirk was murdered by a

  152. deranged LGBT extremist with a trans boyfriend.

  153. When I say that these people are very dangerous, it's not fear

  154. mongering, it's the truth. Now I say again, it will get

  155. worse. We must take this threat

  156. seriously and I know he's looking at it.

  157. Probably from. A pretty.

  158. Close to a strictly political standpoint, but God already told

  159. us that this was going to happen.

  160. This know also. That in the last days perilous

  161. times shall come. But what else?

  162. What do we expect? God said that it's going to

  163. happen? Here's my second thought.

  164. There is no mistaking that this was not a political

  165. assassination. This was a Christian

  166. assassination. This is.

  167. This is not. Republican versus Democrat, This

  168. is good versus evil. And that's what we're fighting.

  169. We're not. We're not.

  170. Fighting a political battle. Although political battles take

  171. place on this same playing field, but the Mask of Evil is

  172. slipping down and they're beginning to show their true

  173. colors. Evil is.

  174. Showing itself for just exactly what it is.

  175. And I know it's embodied in different individuals.

  176. Who decide to take a gun and shoot somebody or take a knife

  177. and stab somebody? But evil.

  178. Is showing its true self. And this is not a political

  179. assassination. This is a Christian.

  180. This is a spiritual assassination.

  181. Charlie Kirk was not. Martyred for his political

  182. beliefs. Or we might come across that.

  183. Way and that may be exactly what it looks like, but there are

  184. many people who are unafraid to stand up for what they believe

  185. politically. And many of them in.

  186. Fact. None of them have taken a bullet

  187. to the head for it. Charlie Kirk was murdered for

  188. his faith and for his courageous stand.

  189. There's no other way to put it. He was assassinated.

  190. Because of what he believed. And for refusing to be.

  191. Silent about those. Beliefs, he gave a clear.

  192. Testimony of salvation many times, and he and he.

  193. Publicly affirmed his faith in. Jesus Christ alone.

  194. And he urged others. To trust Jesus Christ in.

  195. Fact just a couple minutes before the clip.

  196. That's that's been seen. Around the world now of him

  197. actually getting shot and. And, and and seeing the blood

  198. spurting out of his neck and, and basically everybody on TV

  199. watching him die. Just two minutes before that,

  200. somebody asked him a question. About his faith.

  201. And he very boldly and very publicly again said that that

  202. the only way to get to heaven is through repentance and faith in

  203. Jesus Christ. He was unashamed of that.

  204. And I don't think it was so much his political beliefs that he

  205. was assassinated for. I think it was.

  206. His religious beliefs and his faith in Jesus Christ that they

  207. just couldn't stand. The devil will put up with

  208. conservative. Politic.

  209. Politicians he'll put up with with politically conservative

  210. people. But when you have somebody who

  211. is politically. Conservative that is gaining an

  212. influence and is using that platform to share.

  213. Christ, that's what he can't stand.

  214. There's a video that's going around that I've seen many times

  215. that was recorded just a couple weeks before he died.

  216. It was a podcast. And honestly, I don't even know

  217. who the guy was that he was sitting there interviewing with,

  218. but he this guy asked him, how do you want to be remembered?

  219. He said, what do you mean if I die?

  220. And he said, yeah, if you die, how do you want to be

  221. remembered? What's one thing that you would

  222. want everybody to remember about Charlie Kirk?

  223. And he said, I want to be remembered for courage, for my

  224. faith. That would be the most important

  225. thing to me. And that's why I say that

  226. Charlie Kirk was not murdered for his political beliefs.

  227. He was murdered for his belief in Christ.

  228. He also took an unashamed stand on the moral issues.

  229. And that far exceeds politics. There was, there's this is a

  230. spiritual. Realm this is.

  231. Good versus evil, this is. Truth versus error this is.

  232. Right versus wrong. And I had a friend.

  233. After I posted that yesterday that sent me a text and he said

  234. I think our faith and our morals are pretty aligned however.

  235. Why do you feel? Certain that it was a Christian

  236. slash religious assassination? I don't think that's clear yet,

  237. unless by that you mean simply the sin of murder.

  238. My answer to him was that yes, he was shot for his political

  239. beliefs, but unfortunately what's happened is that the the

  240. political and the spiritual. Are completely.

  241. Overlapped today because the left has made political issues

  242. out of the things that we find in God's Word that are very,

  243. very spiritual issues. At the same time, abortion,

  244. homosexuality, transgender and and and many more of those

  245. things are biblical. Issues that have been turned

  246. into political issues. This is not a difference.

  247. Between Republican, Democrat or Conservative and Liberal, This

  248. is a difference between right and wrong.

  249. This is a difference between truth and error.

  250. This is a difference between good and evil.

  251. That's what we're fighting. Against and when you.

  252. Stand up and say that the murder of of of babies through abortion

  253. is wrong. That's all the sudden become a

  254. political belief. Today, but it's not a.

  255. Political. Belief.

  256. It's a spiritual belief. It's a Bible belief.

  257. When we say that homosexuality is wrong and then it's an

  258. abomination to God, It's become a political belief, but that's

  259. not rooted in politics as rooted in God's Word.

  260. It's not a it's, it's not a Republican versus Democrat or,

  261. or, or liberal versus conservative.

  262. It's a good versus evil. It's a Bible issue and when you

  263. have somebody who's willing to stand up for the things that the

  264. Bible teaches and does it unashamedly, evil hates that.

  265. And then when you throw Jesus Christ in on top of all of those

  266. things and you promote him as the only way to heaven and as

  267. the way, the truth and the life, and as as as repentance in in

  268. and turning to Christ being the only way to have your sins

  269. forgiven, the the evil cannot stand that.

  270. And the demons come out. A lot of people speak against

  271. those issues, but nobody's been shot for it until now.

  272. I really believe that he had. If he hadn't been as outspoken

  273. of a Christian as he is, I believe that he'd still be alive

  274. today. And that's why I say this is not

  275. a political assassination. It's a, it's a spiritual, it's a

  276. Christian assassination. Here's my third thought that I

  277. want to share with you this morning.

  278. Charlie Kirk did in his short life, but many people only dream

  279. of doing in a lifetime. And he truly left a legacy that

  280. is going to outlive him by far. Pray for his wife and his kids.

  281. Pray for his entire family. You think about, you know,

  282. obviously his wife was very close to him and, and was very,

  283. very visible with him in public and his kids too.

  284. I mean, all a lot of videos that are going around of the whole

  285. family. And I, and I think he did a

  286. great job of being a father as well as being, you know, in the

  287. political arena. And he did a great job of being

  288. a husband as well as as taking on all of these other things

  289. that he did. But you think about his parents

  290. too. You know, there's, there's

  291. parents that that no longer have a son.

  292. And I sometimes you can't, you don't know what you can believe

  293. and what you can't believe because so much AI stuff out

  294. there anymore. But I saw a, a story where they,

  295. they held a vigil for him to, as a way to remember him.

  296. And it's a way to say thank you to him.

  297. And his parents were there and, and, and, and somebody said that

  298. his dad was up there on his knees.

  299. And it was just dead quiet. Thousands of people that

  300. gathered dead quiet. And he said, give me back.

  301. My son. He's only 31 years old.

  302. Could imagine the pain that the family is going through right

  303. now. Doesn't do us any good to pray

  304. for Charlie Kirk. He's already gone.

  305. I believe he's in heaven. But you know, pray for Charlie

  306. Kirk doesn't do any good, but pray for his family.

  307. His kids were young enough that they're never going to know

  308. their father. The only way that they're going

  309. to remember their dad is through videos.

  310. And the way they're going to remember their dad is through

  311. the things that he wrote. The only way that they're going

  312. to remember their dad is through the things that other people

  313. tell them about their father. And that's a sad thing for kids

  314. to have to grow up that way. The only thing that his wife is

  315. going to have left after all of this is over and everything dies

  316. down is an empty house to go back to kids that she's not

  317. going to raise on her own. That's a difficult, difficult

  318. thing. And I know that she's made the

  319. statement that basically she was willing to make that sacrifice

  320. because she knew the danger and and he did make a difference.

  321. Do you know that just since she made that speech, there have

  322. been 180,000 new requests for Turning Point USA chapters on

  323. college campuses? That's a huge, huge impact.

  324. And I think they don't realize what they did in taking Charlie

  325. Kirk. But at the same time, he left

  326. the wife and kids behind. He left parents behind that need

  327. our prayers. And I hope you'll pray for them.

  328. But we also need to pray for our country.

  329. Perhaps God decided to take Charlie Kirk when he did in what

  330. we would consider to be his prime because that's the only

  331. way to have the nationwide impact that needs to happen.

  332. And perhaps instead of anarchy, maybe God is going to send a

  333. revival to this nation. I don't know.

  334. The Second Corinthians Chapter 7 and verse, Second Chronicles

2 Corinthians 7 chapter mention 2 Chronicles 7 chapter mention

  335. Chapter 7 and verse 14 says if my people, which are called by

  336. My name, shall humble themselves and pray and seek my face and

  337. turn from their wicked way, then then well, I forgive their sin

  338. and will heal their land. That's the only way.

  339. It's not going to be a political revolution, has to be a

  340. spiritual revolution if we're going to see anything happen.

  341. And I believe that Charlie Kirk had the spiritual wherewithal

  342. and the spiritual understanding to know that that's what it was

  343. all about. And I hope those that are

  344. following behind will do the exact same thing.

  345. But I sure hope that Christians stand up and and take this

  346. moment to truly give out the gospel instead of a lot of this

  347. feel good stuff. And to me, it's sad we're seeing

  348. so much of that. I saw, I saw a bunch of

  349. different posts, but somebody posted I'm, you know, in the

  350. wake of Charlie Kirk's death, it really gave me a renewed

  351. spiritual desire. I picked up my Bible and read it

  352. for the first time in years. And I'm actually going to church

  353. to get baptized today. It's not salvation.

  354. And as much as people want to do something and see something

  355. happen as a result of Charlie Kirk being killed and as a

  356. result of his faith, there's a great danger and many people

  357. becoming Christians who are not actually Christians.

  358. And there's a great need for those who know the truth and

  359. understand that the gospel is not just about doing something,

  360. but about receiving someone, that we get the message of the

  361. gospel out while we have the opportunity to do that.

  362. And along with that, I would ask you to consider what legacy are

  363. you leaving behind? If you were to die right now,

  364. what would people say about you? What have you left behind for

  365. the people that are following you?

  366. It doesn't matter to you because you're going to be gone at that

  367. point. But is your life making an

  368. impact? Is your life making an impact?

  369. What are you doing for Christ? That's that's why I'm saying

  370. that Charlie Kirk, if, if all he was, was a political figure,

  371. people, political figures die all the time.

  372. You think about somebody like Rush Limbaugh, who for years had

  373. a huge impact on conservative politics and, and made many,

  374. many people change their minds from the liberalism to

  375. conservatism. And it was sad when Rush

  376. Limbaugh died, but there was nothing like this because Rush

  377. Limbaugh did not promote Christ. Russell Limbaugh talked about

  378. his faith every now and then. And I'm not the one to judge if

  379. Russell Limbaugh was saved or not.

  380. I don't know. I don't know what his

  381. relationship with Christ was like.

  382. I think he gave a testimony of salvation here and there, but I

  383. don't know if he truly understood it or not.

  384. But the reason why somebody like Charlie Kirk being shot and

  385. dying has such an impact is because of what he did for

  386. Christ and the way that he stood for Christ.

  387. That's why it impacts us in a very different way.

  388. And I don't know if this is the case or not, but maybe, you

  389. know, it's because he was part of the body of Christ, and so

  390. are we. And when somebody in the body of

  391. Christ gets murdered in that way, martyred for the cause of

  392. Christ, maybe that's why it hits differently.

  393. I don't know. I don't know the answer to that

  394. question. But I do know that he left the

  395. true legacy behind and he allowed God to use him to the

  396. point where that legacy is going to last for a long, long time.

  397. What legacy are you leaving behind?

  398. What are people going to say about you when you're gone?

  399. What about the impact that you're having for Christ today?

  400. Let me give you my fourth thought.

  401. God knew from the moment that Charlie Kirk was born that he

  402. was only going to be on this earth for 31 years.

  403. We didn't know it, and that's what makes it hard.

  404. It's the same reason it's hard when anybody dies.

  405. Somebody that you love, somebody that's in your family.

  406. You know, my, my mom passed away at 55 years old.

  407. And I think, wow, that's so young.

  408. Why would God take it? Then?

  409. I'll tell you this. God knew from the moment that

  410. she was born that she was going to have 55 years on this earth.

  411. I didn't know that. And that's what makes it tough

  412. to lose somebody. God knew that Charlie Kirk was

  413. going to have 31 years on this earth.

  414. We didn't know that. And that's what makes it tough.

  415. But what I want you to remember this morning is that God's still

  416. on the throne. That was not a surprise to him.

  417. He saw that sniper moving into position.

  418. He saw the whole thing from the top side.

  419. It's almost like he had a drone looking at the entire scene.

  420. He saw it all playing out and he allowed it to happen.

  421. He knew that it was going to happen and he let it go.

  422. We don't know why, we don't understand why, but God did and

  423. God does, and he knows exactly why He allowed it to happen.

  424. But God did allow it to happen. And God knew that He was going

  425. to have those 31 years on this earth.

  426. And God's already got your days #2 and in the moment that he

  427. decides to call you home, He already knew that That's how

  428. long you had. We don't know how long we have.

  429. I might live another 50 years. I might live another five years.

  430. I don't know. I might live another 5 minutes

  431. and be done. I don't know.

  432. But God does. And we need to fill every moment

  433. that we have living for the Lord because of that.

  434. Here's my fifth thought. We don't need another Charlie

  435. Kirk or 1000 Charlie Kirks to replace him.

  436. There was only 1C Couric and God decided to take him home.

  437. But what we do need are 1000 individuals who will be exactly

  438. what God wants them to be and do exactly what God wants them to

  439. do. We don't need another Charlie

  440. Kirk. There's one.

  441. And God, God used him in the way that he wanted to use him.

  442. That's how we're going to have the biggest impact in the, in

  443. the in a day when Christian convictions, if you can even

  444. call them that. A lot of.

  445. People hold these convictions private.

  446. Well, that's just what I believe then.

  447. And this this. Surge of of secularism and and

  448. paganism that is flooding. Our country, you know,

  449. Christians are being urged to just accept it and, and just

  450. don't say anything. About it and be tolerant.

  451. And and and show the love of Christ, and I believe we do need

  452. to. Show the love of Christ.

  453. But there is also a time when we need to stand up against the

  454. evil. And stop calling evil good, and

  455. stop calling good evil. And start taking a stand for the

  456. cause of. Jesus Christ.

  457. And we don't need another Charlie Kirk.

  458. We don't need another 1000 Charlie Kirks.

  459. We need 1000 young men and young ladies and.

  460. Old men and old. Ladies who are just willing to

  461. be exactly what God wants them to be.

  462. Go be your own, Charlie. Kirk he.

  463. Stood up and he called. Sin what it was.

  464. He he called out pastors that were leaning on these woke

  465. philosophies and he urged them to confront the sins of our day

  466. with the word of God. That's what made him stand.

  467. Out one of the. Best clips that I watched of

  468. Charlie Kirk was was of. Him just excoriating these

  469. churches. Who are just for, for lack of a

  470. of a better term, just a glorified country.

  471. Club. And he said, what are you doing

  472. for Christ? Well, are you just, are you just

  473. offering the world a, a, a nice little place to sit in a padded,

  474. padded chair for a while and you're going to play them some

  475. nice music and have some flickering lights in there and,

  476. and call it church or you're going to actually stand up and

  477. preach the word of God. And I think it's so funny to me

  478. that that, you know, all of these people want to lift up

  479. Charlie Kirk as this great Christian and this great hero.

  480. If they would actually listen to his message, they probably

  481. wouldn't like him as much as. They think they do.

  482. Because he was not one to stand up and and to put up with these

  483. things. But then I see that his home.

  484. Church had a big vigil for him and it was just a big rock

  485. concert is all it was. I wonder why a guy like that

  486. stayed in a church like that. But that's why it's so important

  487. that we get to the word of. God, we find out what?

  488. The word of God has to say about it and.

  489. Then you get into. A church that's preaching what

  490. the Bible says. Not what somebody thinks you

  491. want to hear so that you'll keep.

  492. Coming and keep putting. Money in the offering plate.

  493. What does the Bible have to say about it?

  494. That's. What I want to hear.

  495. Tell me the truth. Don't comfort me.

  496. With a lie, Charlie's. Faith motivated.

  497. Him to make a difference and he poured his energy out into

  498. reaching young people if. You want to make a.

  499. Difference for the cause of Jesus Christ.

  500. You don't have to be the next Charlie Kirk.

  501. If you want to make a difference for the cause of Jesus Christ,

  502. you go be who God calls you to be.

  503. Don't be the next Charlie Kirk. Be the first.

  504. Daniel, Matt don't have to be the next Charlie.

  505. Kirk, be the first Jackson boots you.

  506. Don't have to be the next. Charlie Kirk, be the first.

  507. Levi Harvard You don't have to be the the next Charlie.

  508. Kirk, be the first. Andrew, Pierre, you'd be what?

  509. God. Wants you to be and God will use

  510. you in a great way. You don't have to be the next

  511. anybody. Be the first of what God wants

  512. you to do. Be the first of what God wants

  513. you to be, and you'll have the impact that God wants you to

  514. have. May not be in a national scale

  515. and it may not be where everybody knows your name, but

  516. if your name is known in heaven and you stand before God someday

  517. and he says well done, that's the only thing that matters.

  518. Hey, I believe that when Charlie Kirk stood before God, he said,

  519. well done. You've accomplished what I've

  520. called you to accomplish on this earth.

  521. But there's millions of other people that he said the exact

  522. same thing to, that nobody ever knew their name.

  523. There's millions of people over the course of all of history who

  524. have served on a mission field. They had a tiny little church

  525. full of native people in whatever land God called them,

  526. and they died and went to heaven.

  527. And God said, well done. You did what I wanted you to do.

  528. People who are in churches all across this country who haven't

  529. bowed and who haven't bent to this woke philosophy into this

  530. woke religion, who when they die, they're going to stand

  531. before God and God's going to say, well done.

  532. Nobody knew who you were. You lived and you served in

  533. obscurity, but you were one of one, and you did exactly what I

  534. called you to do. You don't have to be the next

  535. Charlie Kirk. You be what God wants you to be,

  536. and you'll have the same impact for the Kingdom of Christ that

  537. Charlie Kirk had in the way that God wanted him to have that

  538. influence. I want to tell you this, number

  539. six, We don't need a new generation of young

  540. conservatives. We need a new generation of

  541. young Christians who will be sold out to Christ and intent on

  542. living for him. Turn over to Acts chapter #5 You

  543. see, I'm a Christian, a conservative, and a Republican,

  544. in that order. I don't care what the Republican

  545. Party. Says if it goes.

  546. Against conservative values. I'm not a Republican and I don't

  547. care. What conservative opinion says

  548. if it goes against. Christian values.

  549. I'm not a conservative, I'm a Christian.

  550. I'm a conservative and I'm a Republican, in that order and.

  551. There will be no problem. Making our young generation

  552. solid conservatives if they're truly following the Lord.

  553. One of the remarkable things about Charlie Kirk was his

  554. ability to reach the younger generation.

  555. They proved that they were not all closed off to truth and

  556. reason. That's the excuse that.

  557. So many. People use nowadays, well,

  558. they're being taught all this stuff in the public schools and

  559. we've tried and that's they're just, they're just not going to

  560. listen to us. They don't want to hear anything

  561. that we have to say. They're all liberals and they're

  562. all, you know, being, you know, trained to be woke and

  563. everything else. And there's a lot.

  564. Of them that are being trained but they're they're.

  565. Open and. They're looking for something.

  566. But those people are reached. Those young people are reached

  567. by patients and they're reached by courage.

  568. That's why we need Bible clubs in our public.

  569. Schools. That's why we need.

  570. To be on these college campuses, that's why we need.

  571. To be engaging a younger generation in the conversation

  572. for. Truth acts chapter 5 and verse

    Acts 5 chapter mention

  573. #20 but the. Angel of the Lord, this is the

  574. story of. Of Peter, he had been put in,

  575. I'm sorry, not Peter, the the disciples.

  576. A couple of the disciples have been put in prison for preaching

  577. the truth of Christ. The same thing happened.

  578. With Peter, but this is a. Little bit different story verse

  579. 20 of Acts chapter 5, but the Angel of the Lord.

    Acts 5 chapter mention

  580. By night opened the prison. Doors and brought them forth and

  581. said, go stand and speak in the temple to the people all the.

  582. Words of this life. That's what we need to do.

  583. We need more Christians who are willing to get into that public

  584. arena, not to push our conservative.

  585. Values not to push our, our conservative political views,

  586. but to push Christ and to push learning who Christ is and

  587. learning to have a relationship with Christ.

  588. And I can promise you that if we are training a new generation to

  589. be sold out Christians for Jesus Christ, they will be solid

  590. conservatives. You don't even have to push

  591. conservative values on them. They'll be opposed to abortion,

  592. they'll be opposed to homosexuality, they'll be

  593. opposed to transgender. They will vote for the right

  594. people who are going to stand up for Christian values, because

  595. when you teach them to be solid Christians, they will be.

  596. Solid conservatives at the same time.

  597. So don't put the focus on being conservatives.

  598. Put the focus on being Christians.

  599. Put the focus on being sold out for God.

  600. Put the focus on our young people living lives of holiness

  601. and righteousness and godliness and living lives that are

  602. pleasing only to him. And you won't have to worry

  603. about raising a new generation of conservatives.

  604. Oh, there's going to be millions and millions and millions of

  605. conservatives in hell. When we stand before the

  606. judgment seat of Christ, because you don't get to heaven by being

  607. a conservative, you get to heaven by being a Christian.

  608. You don't get to heaven by having the right political.

  609. Views You get to heaven by knowing Jesus Christ as your

  610. Savior. And if all we're focused on is

  611. making this new generation a solid generation, who's going to

  612. vote? The right way.

  613. And making this a new generation of young conservatives who are

  614. going to change the the trajectory of this country.

  615. Certainly I'd be in favor of that.

  616. But if that's all we're focusing on, then we're going to create a

  617. whole new generation of young people who think they're going

  618. to heaven because they vote the right way, who think they're

  619. going to heaven because their political views, which are

  620. correct, who think they're going to heaven because this country

  621. is turning around and starting to go in a new direction.

  622. But. They're going to find themselves

  623. in hell and it'll be all our fault.

  624. We don't need a new generation of young conservatives.

  625. We need a new generation of young Christians who are sold

  626. out for the cause of Christ. They're sold out for the cause

  627. of Christ. They will be conservative.

  628. I want to tell you this number 7 as I come to an end here.

  629. If you truly want to carry on Charlie Kirk's legacy and get

  630. busy telling other people about Jesus Christ, that's why Charlie

  631. Kirk was martyred. He was not martyred because he

  632. was a political conservative. He was martyred because he

  633. shared his faith and he shared that Jesus Christ is the only

  634. way to heaven. You want to carry on that

  635. legacy? Listen, politics come and go.

  636. Politicians come and go. Movements come and go, but only

  637. Christ can change a life from the inside out.

  638. Second Corinthians chapter 5 and verse #17 Therefore, if any man

    2 Corinthians 5 chapter mention

  639. be in Christ, he is a new creature.

  640. Old things are passed away. Behold, all things are become

  641. new. Charlie Kirk knew that and he

  642. proclaimed that truth. And I will never be unconvinced

  643. that he didn't give his life for that truth.

  644. If you want to honor his legacy, if you want to do something to

  645. remember Charlie Kirk. If you want to do something

  646. because you feel like something has to be done because of his

  647. death, and it's certainly not going and burning down cities,

  648. certainly not going and looting all the stores, it's certainly

  649. not going and taking somebody else's life to replace his.

  650. It's not found in any of those things.

  651. It's found in sharing the message of the gospel with the

  652. lost and dying world. I'm going to close with an audio

  653. clip that I found. Somebody asked AI what Charlie

  654. Kirk would say from the other side.

  655. And the AI obviously only uses the information that it has.

  656. So it took his voice and it took everything that he had done in

  657. his life, and it gave us a summary of his life with audio.

  658. And obviously this is not Charlie Kirk speaking from the

  659. other side, but this is what AI said Charlie Kirk would say.

  660. 1st, I want you to know I'm fine not because my body is fine, but

  661. because my soul is secure in Christ.

  662. Death is not the end, it's a promotion.

  663. Don't waste one second mourning me.

  664. I knew the risks of standing up in this cultural moment and I do

  665. it all over again. Second, do not let this violence

  666. divide us further. The enemy wants chaos, fear, and

  667. retaliation. Don't give it to them.

  668. Instead, double down on truth, double down on courage, double

  669. down on your faith and on your families.

  670. That is how you honor me. Third, remember this.

  671. America is worth it. Free speech is worth it.

  672. Fighting for the unborn, for families, for sanity and a

  673. culture gone mad, it is all worth it.

  674. So dry your tears, pick up your cross, and get back in the

  675. fight. Do it with joy, do it with

  676. strength and never ever let evil think at 1:00, wonder what AI

  677. would say if you asked it to say a message of your life.

  678. What would it say about you? Why don't you turn to one last

  679. passage? Turn over to John chapter 15.

    John 15 chapter mention

  680. Scott Pauly is an evangelist. He's never been here to preach,

  681. but he's been in many, many churches that we that that are

  682. just like ours. But he said this, he said

  683. Charlie's. Testimony leaves us with a

  684. sobering reminder and a pressing challenge.

  685. Too many Christians today seem to be operating from the

  686. unspoken question, Is it safe? Before taking a strong biblical.

  687. Stand in a public way, they. Consider the risks.

  688. They wonder if it's safe to speak.

  689. Truth, to live boldly, to stand on biblical principles.

  690. Charlie's martyrdom gives us a sobering answer.

  691. No, it's not safe. But asking is it safe is the

  692. wrong question. The real question is this.

  693. Is it important? And the answer to that question

  694. is yes. Eternally, unshakeably yes.

  695. John chapter 15 and verse #18 The Bible says if the world

    John 15 chapter mention

  696. hates you, you know that it hated me before it hated you.

  697. If you were of the world, the world would love his own but.

  698. Because you're not of the world, but I have chosen you out.

  699. Of the world, therefore, the. World hateth you.

  700. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not

  701. greater than his Lord. If they have persecuted me,

  702. they'll also persecute you. If you have kept my saying, they

  703. will keep yours also. But all of these things.

  704. Will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know

  705. not him that sent me. If I had not come and spoken

  706. unto them, they had not had sin. But now they have no cloak for

  707. their sin. He that hateth me, hateth my

  708. Father also. If I had not done among them the

  709. works which none other men did, they had not had sin.

  710. But now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father.

  711. But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that

  712. is written in their law. They hated Me without a cause.

  713. But when the Comforter has come, who I will send unto you from

  714. the Father, even the spirit of truth which proceedeth from the

  715. Father, He shall testify of Me, and ye shall ye also shall bear

  716. witness, as you have been with me from the beginning.

  717. I hope, I hope that when I die, all the demons rejoice.

  718. They certainly did when Charlie Kirk died.

  719. And I hope they do the same for me.

  720. Oh, I'm looking forward to meeting that great cloud of

  721. witnesses. I'm looking forward to being

  722. cheered home by everybody that's going on before me, but I hope

  723. there's a great cheer coming from the Earth too, because he's

  724. finally gone. I think that's what happened

  725. when Charlie Kirk died and a lot of them lost their jobs.

  726. But I hope the demons rejoice when my time on this earth is

  727. done. The life and the testimony of

  728. Charlie Kirk reminds us So what matters most is not safety but

  729. truth. He's not Christ, and I don't,

  730. I'm not trying to put him anywhere close to the level of

  731. Jesus Christ, but he was a good example of Christ and he was a

  732. good testimony for Christ. And I think his testimony and

  733. his example ought to stir us into action, not politically

  734. motivated action, not conservative action, but action

  735. as Christians, that we have a great mandate, Great Commission,

  736. if you want to call it that, to go spread the message of the

  737. gospel and once they get saved, to disciple them and then send

  738. them out to tell other people about Christ.

  739. You want to do something? Go tell others about Christ.

  740. Go be bold in your faith. Go be bold for the cause of

  741. Christ. Stand up and be unashamed about

  742. it. Start with the people that you

  743. work with. Start with the people that live

  744. on your street. Start with the people in your

  745. family. I'll be bold for Christ.

  746. I'll go tell people about Christ.

  747. Just don't ask me. To tell my family, don't ask me

  748. to tell my friends, don't ask me to tell my neighbors, don't ask

  749. me to tell my coworkers. But I'll be.

  750. Bold for Christ, I'll take a bullet for him.

  751. No, you won't. No, you won't.

  752. Not if you're not willing to do it now in the smallest things

  753. that he's asked you to do. Oh, you think it's easy?

  754. You think it's easy to just go take a stand for Christ on a

  755. college campus with 10,000 people, half of who hate

  756. everything you stand for? Easy.

  757. Nah, I've been in many, many situations where there's been 2

  758. or 300 people in a room, not 2 or 3000 or 10 or 15,000,

  759. although I've had that similar situation where there's a huge

  760. crowd and everybody's looking at you.

  761. What are you going to say? Do you share the gospel or do

  762. you just don't want everybody to feel bad, want them to ask you

  763. to come back, Don't want them to hate you at work, Don't want

  764. your family to not show up for Thanksgiving because you're

  765. coming? Hey, that's what being bold for

  766. Christ is all about. If the world hates you, you know

  767. that it hated me before it hated you.

  768. Are you willing to be bold for the cause of Christ?

  769. That's what made Charlie Kirk who he was.

  770. Not his politics, not his conversation style, not his

  771. quick wit, not his brain. What made Charlie Kirk stand

  772. out? But he was a Christian, and he

  773. was proud of it. And he was bold enough to tell

  774. others that they could become a Christian, too.

  775. What are you willing to do? You tell us about Christ, or

  776. you're just going to live your life and then die and nobody

  777. even knows you're gone. I want all of hell to be so

  778. happy that I'm done. I hope you do too.

  779. Let's pray. Father, again, we thank you so

  780. much for your goodness to us. Thank you that we have men like

  781. Charlie Kirk who are willing to stand up for the truth and be an

  782. example to a lot of other people.

  783. God, may we be willing not to be another Charlie Kirk, but to be

  784. exactly what you called us to be.

  785. Maybe follow his example, maybe do some of the things that he

  786. did, but to be like you and to tell others about you.

  787. God, may you help us. May you help us to be bold for

  788. the cause of Christ. Thank you again for all that you

  789. do for us in Jesus name, Amen. If you'd stand at your seats

  790. with your heads bowed and your eyes closed, I suppose there's a

  791. lot of different things that God could have spoken to your heart

  792. about. And if you did, I want to give

  793. you an opportunity to respond to that as the piano plays.

  794. Invitations open you come the best for Jesus.

  795. Great choice of song. I wonder.

  796. I wonder.
