Unless you have had your head under a rock, then you're aware

that on September 10th at 3:00, Charlie Kirk was gunned down by

a cowardly sniper's bullet. I don't know if there's any

other way that you can say it, and maybe you haven't really

been aware of who he was before this, but it'd be almost

impossible for you to not know who he is now.

Charlie Kirk was a a bold voice for truth in an ever increasing

godless culture. And, and, and there's no denying

that this, that this nation is moving farther away from God,

that this, that the world is moving farther away from God.

But he was a husband. He was a father.

He was a, everything that I've heard from his testimony, a

Christian. And it's been strange.

It's been a really strange thing for me and I know I've mentioned

this to a few of you and you've said the same thing.

I just have not been able to stop thinking about it.

And I don't know why. I think I think maybe a lot of

it has to do with the fact that, you know, I mean, I feel like I

lost a friend and I never even talked to the guy.

Never never met him. You know, I, I've watched a lot

of his video clips and things and, and the way that he

expounded on not just the conservative values, but the

Christian values. And you know, when I got an

alert on my phone, like a, like a news story, just a minute

after he got shot. And of course he lived for a

little while after that. And in my mind, the first thing

was, all right, he's in critical condition, but he's stable.

He's going to be all right. And just a few minutes later he

found out that he died and so young at the same time.

And I don't know if it's that that just won't let me stop

thinking about it. I don't know if it's the sense

of maybe feeling a little bit unfulfilled because of how much

he did fulfill in his short life, but you know.

You think you? Think back through history and,

and a lot of the heroes that we know of are a lot of the people

that we consider heroes, military and, and nation and

everything else were young men. You know, a lot of our, a lot of

the generals that we know about were 303540 years old when they

died. And, and yet their names are so

well known in history. And I think Charlie Kirk is

going to be one of those whose name is very well known in

history. I don't remember exactly who

said, in fact, it might have been him that said it, but he

said, you know, not since Woodstock has there been such a

generational change in the country.

And I do believe that that's the case.

I believe that that a generational change is, is

happening. I believe that it, that will

continue to happen. But Charlie's, Kirk's legacy

cannot just end with admiration. I think it, I think it needs to

translate into action. So what do you do?

What do you do after something like that happens?

What, what do you do? What do you go from here?

And it's a very different. Type of message that I'm going

to preach this morning. But I want to offer you my

thoughts and answer that question.

What do we do now? And I don't want this to come

across as a be like Charlie Kirk message.

I want this to come across as be like Christ.

But when we find somebody who exemplified just exactly what

Christ wanted him to do in his life, I think we can take that

example and use it as a way to help us be more like Christ.

So what do we do now? I want to give you my thoughts

this morning. Some things that I wrote down

and, and maybe some of you, I, I, I, I wrote some of those

thoughts down and, and put it in a Facebook post, which I don't

usually do all that often, but I put some of those thoughts in a

Facebook post. So some of you maybe will

recognize a little bit of this, but what do you do?

How do you, how do you, how do you go on from here?

That's the question that I want to answer this morning.

So let's pray and we'll look at a few things.

Father, again, we thank you so much for your goodness to us and

for an opportunity that we have to to know you as our Savior.

And God, I pray that you'd help us as we reflect this morning on

the life of a of a man who seemingly did everything that he

could for you. I pray that you'd help it to be

a help to us and that that his example would be an example to

us. But more importantly that this

would point us to Christ, that would point us to the cross and

it would point us to doing more for you.

But the time that we have left on this earth may be a help to

us this morning. And we thank you for all that

you do for us in Jesus name, Amen.

Want you to understand. First of all, this morning that

perilous times will come. That's my first thought this

morning. And and we find that in Second

2 Timothy 3 · chapter mention

Timothy chapter 3 and verse #1 the Bible says very, very

plainly this know also that in the last days perilous times

shall come. That word perilous means

dangerous. I know that for many years.

Look, Paul said this back in his day and he felt like the Lord

was coming back. John in Revelation wrote the

same thing at the end of of his book.

Even so come Lord Jesus, he was ready for Christ to come back.

He said behold, I come quickly and and for generations they've.

Expected that this was the. Generation where Christ was

going to come back, and there was.

A lot of things that. That fall in line with what we

find here in Second Timothy chapter 3.

Men shall be lovers of their own selves.

Covetous boasters, Proud blasphemers, disobedient to

parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection.

Truce Breakers, False accusers, Incontinent fierce despisers.

Of those that are good traitors. Heady, high minded lovers of.

Pleasure more than lovers of God, having a form of godliness,

but denying the power thereof. And he says from such turn away.

But those are all characteristics are that are of

things that are going to happen in the last day.

And I don't know if. There's anything that you can

find on. That list that's not happening

in our world today. The time of Christ is.

Coming and it's getting closer and if it's not going to be in

our. Generation, I can't help but

think that it's going to be in the next generation or the

generation after that. But I think Christ is going to

be here in the next 10 years. I don't know, I'm not

predicting, but if you look at if.

You look at everything. That's happening in our world

today, certainly. I don't know how you can say

that we should not be ready for the coming of Christ tomorrow.

We shouldn't be. Ready for the coming of Christ

today, he could come today and everything that.

Needs to be. Fulfilled would be.

And I'm looking forward to that. But he says as.

Part of those last days. Perilous times shall come.

Perilous times shall come. And I'd.

Hate to say that this is the new.

Norm, but it seems like maybe that's the.

Case. Many of you maybe at least

recognize the name Matt Walsh. She's a conservative

commentator. He tweeted this.

The trans agenda is losing they're.

Losing on every playing field in every.

Area of American life. We've defeated them politically,

we've defeated them culturally, but understand this now is

precisely. The moment when trans militants

are the most dangerous. They've lost.

The game is over now they're. More desperate than ever.

More. Full of hatred and anger than

ever. They're going down, but they'll

take as many sane, normal people.

With them as they can. It's going to get worse from

here. Be on your guard.

That was two weeks before Charlie Kirk was murdered, and

he wrote this in the days after his murder, two weeks after, two

weeks ago, he said. I tweeted this two weeks after I

tweeted this. Charlie Kirk was murdered by a

deranged LGBT extremist with a trans boyfriend.

When I say that these people are very dangerous, it's not fear

mongering, it's the truth. Now I say again, it will get

worse. We must take this threat

seriously and I know he's looking at it.

Probably from. A pretty.

Close to a strictly political standpoint, but God already told

us that this was going to happen.

This know also. That in the last days perilous

times shall come. But what else?

What do we expect? God said that it's going to

happen? Here's my second thought.

There is no mistaking that this was not a political

assassination. This was a Christian

assassination. This is.

This is not. Republican versus Democrat, This

is good versus evil. And that's what we're fighting.

We're not. We're not.

Fighting a political battle. Although political battles take

place on this same playing field, but the Mask of Evil is

slipping down and they're beginning to show their true

colors. Evil is.

Showing itself for just exactly what it is.

And I know it's embodied in different individuals.

Who decide to take a gun and shoot somebody or take a knife

and stab somebody? But evil.

Is showing its true self. And this is not a political

assassination. This is a Christian.

This is a spiritual assassination.

Charlie Kirk was not. Martyred for his political

beliefs. Or we might come across that.

Way and that may be exactly what it looks like, but there are

many people who are unafraid to stand up for what they believe

politically. And many of them in.

Fact. None of them have taken a bullet

to the head for it. Charlie Kirk was murdered for

his faith and for his courageous stand.

There's no other way to put it. He was assassinated.

Because of what he believed. And for refusing to be.

Silent about those. Beliefs, he gave a clear.

Testimony of salvation many times, and he and he.

Publicly affirmed his faith in. Jesus Christ alone.

And he urged others. To trust Jesus Christ in.

Fact just a couple minutes before the clip.

That's that's been seen. Around the world now of him

actually getting shot and. And, and and seeing the blood

spurting out of his neck and, and basically everybody on TV

watching him die. Just two minutes before that,

somebody asked him a question. About his faith.

And he very boldly and very publicly again said that that

the only way to get to heaven is through repentance and faith in

Jesus Christ. He was unashamed of that.

And I don't think it was so much his political beliefs that he

was assassinated for. I think it was.

His religious beliefs and his faith in Jesus Christ that they

just couldn't stand. The devil will put up with

conservative. Politic.

Politicians he'll put up with with politically conservative

people. But when you have somebody who

is politically. Conservative that is gaining an

influence and is using that platform to share.

Christ, that's what he can't stand.

There's a video that's going around that I've seen many times

that was recorded just a couple weeks before he died.

It was a podcast. And honestly, I don't even know

who the guy was that he was sitting there interviewing with,

but he this guy asked him, how do you want to be remembered?

He said, what do you mean if I die?

And he said, yeah, if you die, how do you want to be

remembered? What's one thing that you would

want everybody to remember about Charlie Kirk?

And he said, I want to be remembered for courage, for my

faith. That would be the most important

thing to me. And that's why I say that

Charlie Kirk was not murdered for his political beliefs.

He was murdered for his belief in Christ.

He also took an unashamed stand on the moral issues.

And that far exceeds politics. There was, there's this is a

spiritual. Realm this is.

Good versus evil, this is. Truth versus error this is.

Right versus wrong. And I had a friend.

After I posted that yesterday that sent me a text and he said

I think our faith and our morals are pretty aligned however.

Why do you feel? Certain that it was a Christian

slash religious assassination? I don't think that's clear yet,

unless by that you mean simply the sin of murder.

My answer to him was that yes, he was shot for his political

beliefs, but unfortunately what's happened is that the the

political and the spiritual. Are completely.

Overlapped today because the left has made political issues

out of the things that we find in God's Word that are very,

very spiritual issues. At the same time, abortion,

homosexuality, transgender and and and many more of those

things are biblical. Issues that have been turned

into political issues. This is not a difference.

Between Republican, Democrat or Conservative and Liberal, This

is a difference between right and wrong.

This is a difference between truth and error.

This is a difference between good and evil.

That's what we're fighting. Against and when you.

Stand up and say that the murder of of of babies through abortion

is wrong. That's all the sudden become a

political belief. Today, but it's not a.

Political. Belief.

It's a spiritual belief. It's a Bible belief.

When we say that homosexuality is wrong and then it's an

abomination to God, It's become a political belief, but that's

not rooted in politics as rooted in God's Word.

It's not a it's, it's not a Republican versus Democrat or,

or, or liberal versus conservative.

It's a good versus evil. It's a Bible issue and when you

have somebody who's willing to stand up for the things that the

Bible teaches and does it unashamedly, evil hates that.

And then when you throw Jesus Christ in on top of all of those

things and you promote him as the only way to heaven and as

the way, the truth and the life, and as as as repentance in in

and turning to Christ being the only way to have your sins

forgiven, the the evil cannot stand that.

And the demons come out. A lot of people speak against

those issues, but nobody's been shot for it until now.

I really believe that he had. If he hadn't been as outspoken

of a Christian as he is, I believe that he'd still be alive

today. And that's why I say this is not

a political assassination. It's a, it's a spiritual, it's a

Christian assassination. Here's my third thought that I

want to share with you this morning.

Charlie Kirk did in his short life, but many people only dream

of doing in a lifetime. And he truly left a legacy that

is going to outlive him by far. Pray for his wife and his kids.

Pray for his entire family. You think about, you know,

obviously his wife was very close to him and, and was very,

very visible with him in public and his kids too.

I mean, all a lot of videos that are going around of the whole

family. And I, and I think he did a

great job of being a father as well as being, you know, in the

political arena. And he did a great job of being

a husband as well as as taking on all of these other things

that he did. But you think about his parents

too. You know, there's, there's

parents that that no longer have a son.

And I sometimes you can't, you don't know what you can believe

and what you can't believe because so much AI stuff out

there anymore. But I saw a, a story where they,

they held a vigil for him to, as a way to remember him.

And it's a way to say thank you to him.

And his parents were there and, and, and, and somebody said that

his dad was up there on his knees.

And it was just dead quiet. Thousands of people that

gathered dead quiet. And he said, give me back.

My son. He's only 31 years old.

Could imagine the pain that the family is going through right

now. Doesn't do us any good to pray

for Charlie Kirk. He's already gone.

I believe he's in heaven. But you know, pray for Charlie

Kirk doesn't do any good, but pray for his family.

His kids were young enough that they're never going to know

their father. The only way that they're going

to remember their dad is through videos.

And the way they're going to remember their dad is through

the things that he wrote. The only way that they're going

to remember their dad is through the things that other people

tell them about their father. And that's a sad thing for kids

to have to grow up that way. The only thing that his wife is

going to have left after all of this is over and everything dies

down is an empty house to go back to kids that she's not

going to raise on her own. That's a difficult, difficult

thing. And I know that she's made the

statement that basically she was willing to make that sacrifice

because she knew the danger and and he did make a difference.

Do you know that just since she made that speech, there have

been 180,000 new requests for Turning Point USA chapters on

college campuses? That's a huge, huge impact.

And I think they don't realize what they did in taking Charlie

Kirk. But at the same time, he left

the wife and kids behind. He left parents behind that need

our prayers. And I hope you'll pray for them.

But we also need to pray for our country.

Perhaps God decided to take Charlie Kirk when he did in what

we would consider to be his prime because that's the only

way to have the nationwide impact that needs to happen.

And perhaps instead of anarchy, maybe God is going to send a

revival to this nation. I don't know.

The Second Corinthians Chapter 7 and verse, Second Chronicles

2 Corinthians 7 · chapter mention 2 Chronicles 7 · chapter mention

Chapter 7 and verse 14 says if my people, which are called by

My name, shall humble themselves and pray and seek my face and

turn from their wicked way, then then well, I forgive their sin

and will heal their land. That's the only way.

It's not going to be a political revolution, has to be a

spiritual revolution if we're going to see anything happen.

And I believe that Charlie Kirk had the spiritual wherewithal

and the spiritual understanding to know that that's what it was

all about. And I hope those that are

following behind will do the exact same thing.

But I sure hope that Christians stand up and and take this

moment to truly give out the gospel instead of a lot of this

feel good stuff. And to me, it's sad we're seeing

so much of that. I saw, I saw a bunch of

different posts, but somebody posted I'm, you know, in the

wake of Charlie Kirk's death, it really gave me a renewed

spiritual desire. I picked up my Bible and read it

for the first time in years. And I'm actually going to church

to get baptized today. It's not salvation.

And as much as people want to do something and see something

happen as a result of Charlie Kirk being killed and as a

result of his faith, there's a great danger and many people

becoming Christians who are not actually Christians.

And there's a great need for those who know the truth and

understand that the gospel is not just about doing something,

but about receiving someone, that we get the message of the

gospel out while we have the opportunity to do that.

And along with that, I would ask you to consider what legacy are

you leaving behind? If you were to die right now,

what would people say about you? What have you left behind for

the people that are following you?

It doesn't matter to you because you're going to be gone at that

point. But is your life making an

impact? Is your life making an impact?

What are you doing for Christ? That's that's why I'm saying

that Charlie Kirk, if, if all he was, was a political figure,

people, political figures die all the time.

You think about somebody like Rush Limbaugh, who for years had

a huge impact on conservative politics and, and made many,

many people change their minds from the liberalism to

conservatism. And it was sad when Rush

Limbaugh died, but there was nothing like this because Rush

Limbaugh did not promote Christ. Russell Limbaugh talked about

his faith every now and then. And I'm not the one to judge if

Russell Limbaugh was saved or not.

I don't know. I don't know what his

relationship with Christ was like.

I think he gave a testimony of salvation here and there, but I

don't know if he truly understood it or not.

But the reason why somebody like Charlie Kirk being shot and

dying has such an impact is because of what he did for

Christ and the way that he stood for Christ.

That's why it impacts us in a very different way.

And I don't know if this is the case or not, but maybe, you

know, it's because he was part of the body of Christ, and so

are we. And when somebody in the body of

Christ gets murdered in that way, martyred for the cause of

Christ, maybe that's why it hits differently.

I don't know. I don't know the answer to that

question. But I do know that he left the

true legacy behind and he allowed God to use him to the

point where that legacy is going to last for a long, long time.

What legacy are you leaving behind?

What are people going to say about you when you're gone?

What about the impact that you're having for Christ today?

Let me give you my fourth thought.

God knew from the moment that Charlie Kirk was born that he

was only going to be on this earth for 31 years.

We didn't know it, and that's what makes it hard.

It's the same reason it's hard when anybody dies.

Somebody that you love, somebody that's in your family.

You know, my, my mom passed away at 55 years old.

And I think, wow, that's so young.

Why would God take it? Then?

I'll tell you this. God knew from the moment that

she was born that she was going to have 55 years on this earth.

I didn't know that. And that's what makes it tough

to lose somebody. God knew that Charlie Kirk was

going to have 31 years on this earth.

We didn't know that. And that's what makes it tough.

But what I want you to remember this morning is that God's still

on the throne. That was not a surprise to him.

He saw that sniper moving into position.

He saw the whole thing from the top side.

It's almost like he had a drone looking at the entire scene.

He saw it all playing out and he allowed it to happen.

He knew that it was going to happen and he let it go.

We don't know why, we don't understand why, but God did and

God does, and he knows exactly why He allowed it to happen.

But God did allow it to happen. And God knew that He was going

to have those 31 years on this earth.

And God's already got your days #2 and in the moment that he

decides to call you home, He already knew that That's how

long you had. We don't know how long we have.

I might live another 50 years. I might live another five years.

I don't know. I might live another 5 minutes

and be done. I don't know.

But God does. And we need to fill every moment

that we have living for the Lord because of that.

Here's my fifth thought. We don't need another Charlie

Kirk or 1000 Charlie Kirks to replace him.

There was only 1C Couric and God decided to take him home.

But what we do need are 1000 individuals who will be exactly

what God wants them to be and do exactly what God wants them to

do. We don't need another Charlie

Kirk. There's one.

And God, God used him in the way that he wanted to use him.

That's how we're going to have the biggest impact in the, in

the in a day when Christian convictions, if you can even

call them that. A lot of.

People hold these convictions private.

Well, that's just what I believe then.

And this this. Surge of of secularism and and

paganism that is flooding. Our country, you know,

Christians are being urged to just accept it and, and just

don't say anything. About it and be tolerant.

And and and show the love of Christ, and I believe we do need

to. Show the love of Christ.

But there is also a time when we need to stand up against the

evil. And stop calling evil good, and

stop calling good evil. And start taking a stand for the

cause of. Jesus Christ.

And we don't need another Charlie Kirk.

We don't need another 1000 Charlie Kirks.

We need 1000 young men and young ladies and.

Old men and old. Ladies who are just willing to

be exactly what God wants them to be.

Go be your own, Charlie. Kirk he.

Stood up and he called. Sin what it was.

He he called out pastors that were leaning on these woke

philosophies and he urged them to confront the sins of our day

with the word of God. That's what made him stand.

Out one of the. Best clips that I watched of

Charlie Kirk was was of. Him just excoriating these

churches. Who are just for, for lack of a

of a better term, just a glorified country.

Club. And he said, what are you doing

for Christ? Well, are you just, are you just

offering the world a, a, a nice little place to sit in a padded,

padded chair for a while and you're going to play them some

nice music and have some flickering lights in there and,

and call it church or you're going to actually stand up and

preach the word of God. And I think it's so funny to me

that that, you know, all of these people want to lift up

Charlie Kirk as this great Christian and this great hero.

If they would actually listen to his message, they probably

wouldn't like him as much as. They think they do.

Because he was not one to stand up and and to put up with these

things. But then I see that his home.

Church had a big vigil for him and it was just a big rock

concert is all it was. I wonder why a guy like that

stayed in a church like that. But that's why it's so important

that we get to the word of. God, we find out what?

The word of God has to say about it and.

Then you get into. A church that's preaching what

the Bible says. Not what somebody thinks you

want to hear so that you'll keep.

Coming and keep putting. Money in the offering plate.

What does the Bible have to say about it?

That's. What I want to hear.

Tell me the truth. Don't comfort me.

With a lie, Charlie's. Faith motivated.

Him to make a difference and he poured his energy out into

reaching young people if. You want to make a.

Difference for the cause of Jesus Christ.

You don't have to be the next Charlie Kirk.

If you want to make a difference for the cause of Jesus Christ,

you go be who God calls you to be.

Don't be the next Charlie Kirk. Be the first.

Daniel, Matt don't have to be the next Charlie.

Kirk, be the first Jackson boots you.

Don't have to be the next. Charlie Kirk, be the first.

Levi Harvard You don't have to be the the next Charlie.

Kirk, be the first. Andrew, Pierre, you'd be what?

God. Wants you to be and God will use

you in a great way. You don't have to be the next

anybody. Be the first of what God wants

you to do. Be the first of what God wants

you to be, and you'll have the impact that God wants you to

have. May not be in a national scale

and it may not be where everybody knows your name, but

if your name is known in heaven and you stand before God someday

and he says well done, that's the only thing that matters.

Hey, I believe that when Charlie Kirk stood before God, he said,

well done. You've accomplished what I've

called you to accomplish on this earth.

But there's millions of other people that he said the exact

same thing to, that nobody ever knew their name.

There's millions of people over the course of all of history who

have served on a mission field. They had a tiny little church

full of native people in whatever land God called them,

and they died and went to heaven.

And God said, well done. You did what I wanted you to do.

People who are in churches all across this country who haven't

bowed and who haven't bent to this woke philosophy into this

woke religion, who when they die, they're going to stand

before God and God's going to say, well done.

Nobody knew who you were. You lived and you served in

obscurity, but you were one of one, and you did exactly what I

called you to do. You don't have to be the next

Charlie Kirk. You be what God wants you to be,

and you'll have the same impact for the Kingdom of Christ that

Charlie Kirk had in the way that God wanted him to have that

influence. I want to tell you this, number

six, We don't need a new generation of young

conservatives. We need a new generation of

young Christians who will be sold out to Christ and intent on

living for him. Turn over to Acts chapter #5 You

see, I'm a Christian, a conservative, and a Republican,

in that order. I don't care what the Republican

Party. Says if it goes.

Against conservative values. I'm not a Republican and I don't

care. What conservative opinion says

if it goes against. Christian values.

I'm not a conservative, I'm a Christian.

I'm a conservative and I'm a Republican, in that order and.

There will be no problem. Making our young generation

solid conservatives if they're truly following the Lord.

One of the remarkable things about Charlie Kirk was his

ability to reach the younger generation.

They proved that they were not all closed off to truth and

reason. That's the excuse that.

So many. People use nowadays, well,

they're being taught all this stuff in the public schools and

we've tried and that's they're just, they're just not going to

listen to us. They don't want to hear anything

that we have to say. They're all liberals and they're

all, you know, being, you know, trained to be woke and

everything else. And there's a lot.

Of them that are being trained but they're they're.

Open and. They're looking for something.

But those people are reached. Those young people are reached

by patients and they're reached by courage.

That's why we need Bible clubs in our public.

Schools. That's why we need.

To be on these college campuses, that's why we need.

To be engaging a younger generation in the conversation

for. Truth acts chapter 5 and verse

#20 but the. Angel of the Lord, this is the

story of. Of Peter, he had been put in,

I'm sorry, not Peter, the the disciples.

A couple of the disciples have been put in prison for preaching

the truth of Christ. The same thing happened.

With Peter, but this is a. Little bit different story verse

20 of Acts chapter 5, but the Angel of the Lord.

By night opened the prison. Doors and brought them forth and

said, go stand and speak in the temple to the people all the.

Words of this life. That's what we need to do.

We need more Christians who are willing to get into that public

arena, not to push our conservative.

Values not to push our, our conservative political views,

but to push Christ and to push learning who Christ is and

learning to have a relationship with Christ.

And I can promise you that if we are training a new generation to

be sold out Christians for Jesus Christ, they will be solid

conservatives. You don't even have to push

conservative values on them. They'll be opposed to abortion,

they'll be opposed to homosexuality, they'll be

opposed to transgender. They will vote for the right

people who are going to stand up for Christian values, because

when you teach them to be solid Christians, they will be.

Solid conservatives at the same time.

So don't put the focus on being conservatives.

Put the focus on being Christians.

Put the focus on being sold out for God.

Put the focus on our young people living lives of holiness

and righteousness and godliness and living lives that are

pleasing only to him. And you won't have to worry

about raising a new generation of conservatives.

Oh, there's going to be millions and millions and millions of

conservatives in hell. When we stand before the

judgment seat of Christ, because you don't get to heaven by being

a conservative, you get to heaven by being a Christian.

You don't get to heaven by having the right political.

Views You get to heaven by knowing Jesus Christ as your

Savior. And if all we're focused on is

making this new generation a solid generation, who's going to

vote? The right way.

And making this a new generation of young conservatives who are

going to change the the trajectory of this country.

Certainly I'd be in favor of that.

But if that's all we're focusing on, then we're going to create a

whole new generation of young people who think they're going

to heaven because they vote the right way, who think they're

going to heaven because their political views, which are

correct, who think they're going to heaven because this country

is turning around and starting to go in a new direction.

But. They're going to find themselves

in hell and it'll be all our fault.

We don't need a new generation of young conservatives.

We need a new generation of young Christians who are sold

out for the cause of Christ. They're sold out for the cause

of Christ. They will be conservative.

I want to tell you this number 7 as I come to an end here.

If you truly want to carry on Charlie Kirk's legacy and get

busy telling other people about Jesus Christ, that's why Charlie

Kirk was martyred. He was not martyred because he

was a political conservative. He was martyred because he

shared his faith and he shared that Jesus Christ is the only

way to heaven. You want to carry on that

legacy? Listen, politics come and go.

Politicians come and go. Movements come and go, but only

Christ can change a life from the inside out.

Second Corinthians chapter 5 and verse #17 Therefore, if any man

be in Christ, he is a new creature.

Old things are passed away. Behold, all things are become

new. Charlie Kirk knew that and he

proclaimed that truth. And I will never be unconvinced

that he didn't give his life for that truth.

If you want to honor his legacy, if you want to do something to

remember Charlie Kirk. If you want to do something

because you feel like something has to be done because of his

death, and it's certainly not going and burning down cities,

certainly not going and looting all the stores, it's certainly

not going and taking somebody else's life to replace his.

It's not found in any of those things.

It's found in sharing the message of the gospel with the

lost and dying world. I'm going to close with an audio

clip that I found. Somebody asked AI what Charlie

Kirk would say from the other side.

And the AI obviously only uses the information that it has.

So it took his voice and it took everything that he had done in

his life, and it gave us a summary of his life with audio.

And obviously this is not Charlie Kirk speaking from the

other side, but this is what AI said Charlie Kirk would say.

1st, I want you to know I'm fine not because my body is fine, but

because my soul is secure in Christ.

Death is not the end, it's a promotion.

Don't waste one second mourning me.

I knew the risks of standing up in this cultural moment and I do

it all over again. Second, do not let this violence

divide us further. The enemy wants chaos, fear, and

retaliation. Don't give it to them.

Instead, double down on truth, double down on courage, double

down on your faith and on your families.

That is how you honor me. Third, remember this.

America is worth it. Free speech is worth it.

Fighting for the unborn, for families, for sanity and a

culture gone mad, it is all worth it.

So dry your tears, pick up your cross, and get back in the

fight. Do it with joy, do it with

strength and never ever let evil think at 1:00, wonder what AI

would say if you asked it to say a message of your life.

What would it say about you? Why don't you turn to one last

passage? Turn over to John chapter 15.

Scott Pauly is an evangelist. He's never been here to preach,

but he's been in many, many churches that we that that are

just like ours. But he said this, he said

Charlie's. Testimony leaves us with a

sobering reminder and a pressing challenge.

Too many Christians today seem to be operating from the

unspoken question, Is it safe? Before taking a strong biblical.

Stand in a public way, they. Consider the risks.

They wonder if it's safe to speak.

Truth, to live boldly, to stand on biblical principles.

Charlie's martyrdom gives us a sobering answer.

No, it's not safe. But asking is it safe is the

wrong question. The real question is this.

Is it important? And the answer to that question

is yes. Eternally, unshakeably yes.

John chapter 15 and verse #18 The Bible says if the world

hates you, you know that it hated me before it hated you.

If you were of the world, the world would love his own but.

Because you're not of the world, but I have chosen you out.

Of the world, therefore, the. World hateth you.

Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not

greater than his Lord. If they have persecuted me,

they'll also persecute you. If you have kept my saying, they

will keep yours also. But all of these things.

Will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know

not him that sent me. If I had not come and spoken

unto them, they had not had sin. But now they have no cloak for

their sin. He that hateth me, hateth my

Father also. If I had not done among them the

works which none other men did, they had not had sin.

But now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father.

But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that

is written in their law. They hated Me without a cause.

But when the Comforter has come, who I will send unto you from

the Father, even the spirit of truth which proceedeth from the

Father, He shall testify of Me, and ye shall ye also shall bear

witness, as you have been with me from the beginning.

I hope, I hope that when I die, all the demons rejoice.

They certainly did when Charlie Kirk died.

And I hope they do the same for me.

Oh, I'm looking forward to meeting that great cloud of

witnesses. I'm looking forward to being

cheered home by everybody that's going on before me, but I hope

there's a great cheer coming from the Earth too, because he's

finally gone. I think that's what happened

when Charlie Kirk died and a lot of them lost their jobs.

But I hope the demons rejoice when my time on this earth is

done. The life and the testimony of

Charlie Kirk reminds us So what matters most is not safety but

truth. He's not Christ, and I don't,

I'm not trying to put him anywhere close to the level of

Jesus Christ, but he was a good example of Christ and he was a

good testimony for Christ. And I think his testimony and

his example ought to stir us into action, not politically

motivated action, not conservative action, but action

as Christians, that we have a great mandate, Great Commission,

if you want to call it that, to go spread the message of the

gospel and once they get saved, to disciple them and then send

them out to tell other people about Christ.

You want to do something? Go tell others about Christ.

Go be bold in your faith. Go be bold for the cause of

Christ. Stand up and be unashamed about

it. Start with the people that you

work with. Start with the people that live

on your street. Start with the people in your

family. I'll be bold for Christ.

I'll go tell people about Christ.

Just don't ask me. To tell my family, don't ask me

to tell my friends, don't ask me to tell my neighbors, don't ask

me to tell my coworkers. But I'll be.

Bold for Christ, I'll take a bullet for him.

No, you won't. No, you won't.

Not if you're not willing to do it now in the smallest things

that he's asked you to do. Oh, you think it's easy?

You think it's easy to just go take a stand for Christ on a

college campus with 10,000 people, half of who hate

everything you stand for? Easy.

Nah, I've been in many, many situations where there's been 2

or 300 people in a room, not 2 or 3000 or 10 or 15,000,

although I've had that similar situation where there's a huge

crowd and everybody's looking at you.

What are you going to say? Do you share the gospel or do

you just don't want everybody to feel bad, want them to ask you

to come back, Don't want them to hate you at work, Don't want

your family to not show up for Thanksgiving because you're

coming? Hey, that's what being bold for

Christ is all about. If the world hates you, you know

that it hated me before it hated you.

Are you willing to be bold for the cause of Christ?

That's what made Charlie Kirk who he was.

Not his politics, not his conversation style, not his

quick wit, not his brain. What made Charlie Kirk stand

out? But he was a Christian, and he

was proud of it. And he was bold enough to tell

others that they could become a Christian, too.

What are you willing to do? You tell us about Christ, or

you're just going to live your life and then die and nobody

even knows you're gone. I want all of hell to be so

happy that I'm done. I hope you do too.

Let's pray. Father, again, we thank you so

much for your goodness to us. Thank you that we have men like

Charlie Kirk who are willing to stand up for the truth and be an

example to a lot of other people.

God, may we be willing not to be another Charlie Kirk, but to be

exactly what you called us to be.

Maybe follow his example, maybe do some of the things that he

did, but to be like you and to tell others about you.

God, may you help us. May you help us to be bold for

the cause of Christ. Thank you again for all that you

do for us in Jesus name, Amen. If you'd stand at your seats

with your heads bowed and your eyes closed, I suppose there's a

lot of different things that God could have spoken to your heart

about. And if you did, I want to give

you an opportunity to respond to that as the piano plays.
