  1. Our sermon text for today is Philippians chapter 2 verses 1 through 5.

    Philippians 2:1–5

  2. For many it's the favorite part of the Bible.

  3. In these first 11 verses, as someone observed,

  4. they speak the soaring language of a musical piece.

  5. Think of that favorite piece of music that you could listen to over and over again.

  6. That's best understood by being heard out loud to the end

  7. and then heard again.

  8. So as I read our sermon text 1 through 5,

  9. I'm going to read all the way through verse 11.

  10. And I ask that the Holy Spirit will illumine to us His inspired word.

  11. It's infallible, it's clear, and it's sufficient

  12. only by the ministry of the Spirit to His people.

  13. Philippians chapter 2 verses 1 through 11.

    Philippians 2:1–11

  14. Even the death of the cross.

  15. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him

  16. and given Him the name which is above every name,

  17. that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,

  18. of those in heaven and of those on earth

  19. and of those under the earth,

  20. and that every tongue should confess

  21. that Jesus Christ is Lord,

  22. to the glory of God the Father.

  23. the word of the Lord for the people of God.

  24. Thanks be to God.

  25. Amen.

  26. You may be seated.

  27. Let's pray.

  28. Amen.

  29. Let's pray.

  30. God, we ask that you please

  31. will open our eyes to see your glory.

  32. We pray that you'll

  33. turn these words, Father,

  34. that you breathed out.

  35. You'll make them alive and active

  36. to set forth Christ

  37. before us, his people.

  38. We need Christ right now, Lord, this hour.

  39. We ask that you set him forth

  40. to us through your word.

  41. We ask for your Holy Spirit

  42. to press home the truth

  43. that our souls need right now, Lord.

  44. I thank you for these dear brothers and sisters,

  45. for each one that you brought here

  46. by your providence this morning.

  47. And I pray that your spirit will minister

  48. and feed us.

  49. You know what each one needs, Lord,

  50. to keep going and to grow.

  51. We trust that you will do this

  52. because you are faithful

  53. and you are faithful to your word.

  54. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

  55. Amen.

  56. Well, beloved congregation

  57. of our Lord Jesus Christ,

  58. what I hope to do today

  59. is to walk through these verses

  60. and see together how

  61. you and I magnify

  62. the glory of God on earth.

  63. How does the church

  64. magnify the glory of God on earth?

  65. this was how Paul described it in his own life in verses 19 and 20 he said I am this is chapter

  66. one of Philippians 19 and 20 I am confident of this that through your prayer and the supply of

  67. the Holy Spirit Christ will be magnified in my life and now he turns his focus to not his own

  68. situation in life but to the congregation in Philippi and he says in chapter 2 verse 5 let

  69. the mind of Christ be in you the mind of Christ and he rehearses for them in verse 6 Christ who

  70. shares the essence of the holy holy holy God verse 8 he humbled himself and he became obedient unto

  71. death verse 11 of chapter 2 he did all of this to the glory of God the Father so this is the concern

  72. of this passage it's how God's glory is magnified on earth through you his church

  73. a telescope magnifies a telescope takes something far away and brings it close makes it accessible

  74. I looked up this morning we are in the Milky Way galaxy there's there's over I want to say

  75. over 200 I think it's 200 billion stars in one galaxy but then how many galaxies are there in

  76. the universe about 170 galaxies it's mind-blowing what God has created and he holds all the stars in

  77. the palm of his hand so those things are glorious and the telescope helps bring those things that are

  78. far away and make them accessible well what about the glory of the God who created these glorious stars

  79. in galaxies he brings his glory to this earth on this planet in this galaxy through people like you and me

  80. the person sitting to your right and your left the church four observations from this passage number one

  81. God's glory is magnified on earth in his church look at verse 5 again let this mind be in you

  82. which was also in Christ Jesus so who is it that shares the mind of Christ

  83. well in chapter 2 he starts with the word therefore you've probably heard that every time you come across

  84. the word therefore you have to ask what's the question what is therefore therefore so you go a little bit

  85. and in chapter 1 verse 27 as heavenly citizens you could say as God's gospel colony in Philippi

  86. who are sharing in the suffering of Christ that's his audience

  87. and he says now in in verse 1 it's you who know what it is to be encouraged and exhorted in Christ

  88. it's you who are comforted by his love it's you who know this fellowship of the Holy Spirit

  89. it's the church it's impossible to be unregenerate to still have a heart of stone it's impossible

  90. it would go against your nature if you're still caught in verse 3 of Philippians chapter 2 where it

    Philippians 2 chapter mention

  91. says selfish ambition conceit see these are the words of those who don't know Christ who are not in him

  92. who don't have the fellowship of the spirit that's not who brings glory to God it's impossible

  93. and what a what a sting that would be because what he says in chapter 2 verse 3 that phrase selfish

  94. ambition that's how he spoke of those preachers who preach Christ with bad motives now he's saying be

  95. careful there's threats to the church from outside like those obvious ones but be careful your flesh is

  96. bent in that direction even if you're regenerate your pride is going to want to steal some glory for

  97. yourself that word is best translated I think as vain glory vain glory to pursue your own prestige

  98. one commentator called this vain glory that strangely addictive and debasing cocktail of vanity and public

  99. opinion it's strange how our flesh will even want that why would you want to keep drinking that

  100. and conceit it's to be puffed up it's to view reality in a distorted way it's to be out of touch with

  101. what's real and true conceit is what Satan brings that's how Satan thought and how Satan and all those under

  102. the pagan spell of the demons think that way Satan thought that equality with God could be grasped

  103. and it's the way of the world it's a threat to the church he also warned the church in Galatia

  104. Galatians 5 26 let us those within the church those hearing this reading let us not become conceited

  105. that's the word of Satan provoking one another envying one another to the church in Corinth 2 Corinthians

  106. 12 20 he warned them of this danger your church could become marked by here's the list contentions

  107. jealousies outbursts of wrath selfish ambitions backbitings whisperings conceits there's the same

  108. word again and tumults he says be careful it's possible to claim the name of Jesus to minister in the

  109. name of Jesus even to say the right message in the name of Jesus but it's a counterfeit that does not

  110. bringing glory to God you can use the name of God but you can have the mind of Satan

  111. if you're doing this for selfish ambition or vain conceit or you can even have the right message

  112. but do it for man's glory those are counterfeits

  113. Jesus prayed in Matthew 11 we heard this I thank you father lord of heaven and earth that you have hidden

  114. these things from the wise and learned and have revealed them to babes for so it seemed good in

  115. your sight so the question I'm trying to answer is who is it that truly does magnify the glory of God

  116. it's the answer is it's not everyone who claims the name of God it's not that it's more narrow

  117. he says in verse one again if there is any consolation in Christ how much any if there is any comfort if any

  118. fellowship of the spirit if any affection and mercy who magnifies the glory of God you who have tasted

  119. even the smallest amount of how good God is in Christ you magnify his glory on earth

  120. is there anyone here today who needed to be consoled spiritually and you were comforted and exhorted

  121. and encouraged in Christ then you are the one he's talking to you're the one who will bring glory to God

  122. on earth is there anyone here is there anyone here is there anyone here is there anyone here is there anyone

  123. whose soul was once so hollow you thought you were going to die and if you died won't even make a difference

  124. and then Christ poured his spirit into fill your heart to overflowing then he's talking to you

  125. you are the one who will bring glory to God on earth if there's any of us who have felt very lonely in this world

  126. we all have we have enjoyed now through Christ the fellowship of his spirit well then you're the one

  127. through whom he will bring his glory on earth if you can think back to that time when your heart was still

  128. ice cold toward God and his love melted your heart then you're the one through whom his glory will be revealed

  129. on earth if you're a much forgiven sinner who's been surprised by God's own mercy now in your heart

  130. toward his people where did my love for his church come from I I love his church where did that come from

  131. that's not natural he says if this is true of you then let the mind of Christ be in you you've gotten a

  132. taste of it you've gotten any amount of it want more and more and more and more do this to the glory

  133. of God the Father verse 11 so God's glory is magnified on earth in his true church you who have

  134. tasted any of his love number two the more you experience Christ's goodness the more you desire

  135. to magnify his glory the first question is who who are we talking about the next question is why the

  136. motive behind it but why look at verse two he uses a personal appeal he says fulfill my joy so don't

  137. do this because it's it's like a law or someone's regulating or forcing you no fulfill my joy do it do it

  138. to make me happy and proud by being like-minded having the same love being in one accord of one mind

  139. in the fourth chapter of Philippians we learn of a conflict between two very influential women in

  140. this congregation in Philippi now it's interesting in this whole letter Paul never says who was right

  141. or even what the conflict was about it's as if that doesn't even matter he does not take sides

  142. he does not call the church to erase their differences nor pretend like their differences don't exist

  143. and we can give gain some other insights there was this threat of of bad teachers all around them but

  144. also internally within the congregation there's going to be diversity of opinions and values and

  145. things that will be put into collision one with another among true Christians who have shared any of

  146. God's love and shared any of his fellowship there will be conflict and difference remember in Acts there's

  147. there's these examples we have Paul and his team traveling with him Paul is a Jew and then we hear

  148. of the conversion of three other people Lydia was from Asia and she was of the wealthy class the slave girl

  149. that was demon-possessed and freed and converted she was most likely Greek and definitely of lower class

  150. she was a slave and then there's the Roman jailer who you know historians do their best guess to say that he

  151. was most likely a Roman soldier so you've got Jew Asian Greek Roman all together in this little church

  152. and this verse this passage verses one through four it's in Greek it's one continuous sentence that only

  153. has one verb and the verb is right here in verse two being like-minded being of one accord that's the verb

  154. this verb is plural so it's saying you or ye in the plural be this way and that phrase like-minded it's

  155. it's really literally translated this way may you plural all of you together may be being disposed

  156. it could almost be like have a shared mentality a shared mindset an attitude collectively that defines you

  157. you're not all bound to hold the same opinions that wouldn't even be good for a church

  158. but you are to be of one accord he says of one mind literally one sold like one shared personality

  159. one shared identity who are you I'm a member of this church that's who I am above everything else

  160. because I'm in Christ you have a shared mission and you're a team one commentator pointed out

  161. uniformity comes from pressure without but unity which is the need of the church in Philippi

  162. is only possible by the work of the Holy Spirit within internal divisions can only be resolved

  163. when our minds get filled with Christ over and over again by the Holy Spirit

  164. and this is a gift to the church to share a mind focused on Christ and his glory despite all of our differences

  165. and then our differences actually are a source of strength for the body for the congregation

  166. the more you experience Christ's goodness the more you desire to magnify his glory the hungriest

  167. people to lift that trophy that world cup trophy when you get the shot every four years

  168. biggest sports tournament in the world are those who have tasted it before that's why Brazil has won the

  169. world cup five times more than any other country they've tasted it the whole nation behind them

  170. rallying with them and so Paul's words here where he says if if if if if then make my joy complete

  171. and be like-minded it's like an old coach and it's his last season before he's going to retire

  172. and he sits down all these young guys and he says if that crest over your heart the emblem of

  173. our nation if that stirs up any patriotism inside of you if your family name on the back of your jersey

  174. makes you willing to sacrifice for something greater than you as an individual then you will

  175. leave it all on the field if those great players who wore that number that you now carry on your back

  176. if that means anything to you and you have any respect for them then you'll dare to achieve

  177. something great with this team that most players would never even dare to dream of that's what he's

  178. saying to the church fulfill my joy do this for the old coach don't play for yourself for your stats

  179. do it for my joy do it for the team do it for the legacy play our game for one another and we'll share the cup

  180. see this is the pattern of christ with his disciples isn't it it was for the joy set before christ that he endured the cross

  181. to share this joy with you to share his crown with his church

  182. paul says following christ's example fulfill my joy by being like-minded having the same love being of one accord of one mind

  183. see what you feel on the inside these are all emotional personal appeals someone said it's like it's like a rope with

  184. all these different hooks anything inside of your heart or your soul that he can hook on to and pull you toward christ

  185. he's appealing to it our faith can't just be a desire or a feeling it's a feeling that christ by the power of the holy

  186. spirit pulls into action with his church spurgeon commented on this principle he said if your religion

  187. can live and die within your own hearts nowhere else then you have not any that is worth having

  188. if you would adorn the gospel you must love others love them intensely and make it one objective of yours

  189. in your life to make other people happy for so you will then be acting according to the spirit

  190. and genius of the gospel you will be adorning the doctrine of god our savior in all things

  191. so if you've tasted any of god's goodness church then let the mind of christ jesus be in you also

  192. to the glory of god the father we do this day after day and the more we experience christ's goodness

  193. the more we desire to magnify god on earth don't we

  194. number three that god's glory it's magnified on earth when the minds of god's people get filled

  195. with christ that's how he does it we saw who we saw why the motive and now it's how how does god do

  196. this through his church it's by filling our minds with jesus christ

  197. in verse three he says negatively let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit

  198. number verse two he had said being like-minded of one accord of one mind sharing that mind of christ

  199. and that's why his example the first example he gives in this chapter is jesus christ verse five

  200. the trinity father son and holy spirit the creator of all is self-existent self-sufficient holy good

  201. loving glorious and his eternal decree before time and space are created the holy triune god says

  202. let's magnify our glory to our creation well how

  203. and the answer is in verse six jesus christ god the son being the essence of and equal with god

  204. verse seven he made himself of no reputation hebrews 10 5 and 7 says when christ came into the world he said

  205. a body you have prepared for me behold i have come to do your will oh god as it is written in the bible

  206. here are the disciples now with the lord jesus christ incarnate clamoring to have a position of honor

  207. and power in his kingdom and as alistair beg pointed out the same god creator who that said let's make water

  208. be h2o that's what water will be that same designer and creator put a towel around his waist and took the

  209. water he created and washed the dirt off the feet of his disciples bringing their dirt unto himself

  210. this is what it means to have the mind of christ

  211. and jesus said to his disciples and all who will follow him

  212. john 13 a new commandment i give to you that you love one another how just as i have loved you

  213. you also are to love one another by this all people will know that you are my disciples

  214. if you have love for one another by this the creation the earth will see my glory

  215. when my love is inside of you for one another just as i have loved you

  216. titus chapter 2 verse 9

    Titus 2:9

  217. paul writes specifically to bond servants slaves within the church and he says

  218. be obedient to your masters to be well pleasing in all things not answering back but showing all

  219. good fidelity that they may adorn the doctrine of god our savior in all things how much ought we to

  220. serve one another even as a slave serving another master because it adorns the doctrine of our salvation

  221. it expresses to the world it makes it visible this is how glorious our god is who took on flesh and came to save

  222. sinners like us

  223. let this mind be

  224. in you that was in christ jesus he says in verse 5

  225. and do this to the glory of god the father

  226. when christ fills your mind

  227. with himself

  228. there's no space left for our pride

  229. there's really no target left for satan

  230. when our mind is full of christ there's

  231. really nothing to be baited or tempted with

  232. when our mind is full of christ his love will ooze out

  233. as if it were jewelry on us

  234. it's his love

  235. john chrysostom made that observation he said

  236. as the children of the wealthy have an ornament of gold around their neck

  237. and never take it off because it exhibits a token of their high birth

  238. so

  239. compassion

  240. and mercy

  241. are our status

  242. symbol

  243. as citizens of heaven

  244. god's glory is magnified on earth

  245. the more

  246. your mind

  247. and mine

  248. get filled with christ

  249. fourth and final observation for today

  250. is that god's glory is magnified on earth

  251. as christ's people learn his humility from him

  252. god's glory is magnified on earth as christ's people learn his humility from him

  253. moises silva

  254. commented that the true obstacle to unity

  255. is not the presence of legitimate differences of opinion but self-centeredness

  256. in verse 3 paul cautioned

  257. he says

  258. don't let conceit creep in or vain glory

  259. but instead verse 3

  260. in lowliness of mind

  261. let each esteem others better than himself

  262. verse 4

  263. let each of you look

  264. not only to your own interests

  265. but also to the interests or rights

  266. of others

  267. let the mind of christ jesus be

  268. in you

  269. we know that philippi

  270. in act 16

  271. is described as the foremost

  272. colony

  273. the imperial colony

  274. in macedonia

  275. the citizens of philippi

  276. they would have assigned a high value

  277. to questions of roman

  278. social status

  279. and rank

  280. and so when he says in verse 3

  281. in lowliness of mind

  282. or in humility

  283. let each esteem better than himself

  284. this would have been a shocking word for him to use

  285. in the Hebrew faith and religion

  286. humility was a virtue

  287. but in the Greek word

  288. it was a derogatory term

  289. so if you look in secular Greek literature

  290. nowhere will the word humility

  291. in this sense be used as a virtue

  292. it's rarely used

  293. and then only to push someone down

  294. to denote them as a servile

  295. beast

  296. like a

  297. a person that's extremely weak

  298. and dumb

  299. they're like a donkey

  300. that's just meant to carry

  301. carry something from one place to the other

  302. to say a person is

  303. low-minded

  304. that's what you're calling them

  305. and he says in verse 3

  306. be that

  307. be humble

  308. this word if you break it down

  309. it has a base

  310. and an adjective

  311. the base of this word

  312. humility

  313. humility

  314. or low-mindedness

  315. it's the mind

  316. the faculty of perceiving

  317. and judging

  318. and the adjective is

  319. not rising far above the ground

  320. very low

  321. in spirit

  322. deferring

  323. servilely to others

  324. and he says

  325. learn

  326. from Christ

  327. how to be

  328. humble

  329. how to be low

  330. minded

  331. our Lord Jesus Christ

  332. was

  333. humble toward his father

  334. the opposite would be

  335. to be proud

  336. before God

  337. to be unyielding

  338. but Jesus Christ

  339. he was

  340. here to obey his father

  341. to do his father's will

  342. he was always content

  343. and he never complained

  344. about God's providence

  345. in his life

  346. be

  347. like Christ

  348. have the mind

  349. of Christ

  350. think of a child

  351. in a household

  352. how powerless

  353. especially in the ancient world

  354. the child's completely

  355. at the mercy

  356. of the parents

  357. decisions

  358. and Jesus said

  359. in Matthew 18

  360. for whoever

  361. humbles

  362. himself

  363. like a child

  364. is greatest

  365. in the kingdom

  366. of heaven

  367. someone had pointed out

  368. I think very wisely

  369. that true humility

  370. biblical humility

  371. like Christ

  372. is not to think

  373. less of yourself

  374. but to think of yourself

  375. less

  376. such humility

  377. I apologize

  378. such humility

  379. as Christ provided

  380. with his own life

  381. it's not a sign

  382. of weakness

  383. but a sign

  384. of strength

  385. Christ lived

  386. to save

  387. others

  388. he lived

  389. to obey

  390. his father

  391. he put his own

  392. rights

  393. aside

  394. to accomplish

  395. the mission

  396. that God called him to

  397. someone concluded

  398. that there can be

  399. nothing

  400. so foreign

  401. to a soul

  402. that is united

  403. to this

  404. humble Christ

  405. as arrogance

  406. it's impossible

  407. and I was so encouraged

  408. to see

  409. what does this look like

  410. when this mind of Christ

  411. this humility

  412. like Jesus had

  413. when that slowly

  414. works its way

  415. into all of us

  416. I was encouraged

  417. to see how this

  418. actually becomes

  419. a protection

  420. for the church

  421. from the attacks

  422. of the enemy

  423. John Chrysostom

  424. pointed out

  425. when there is a

  426. mutual

  427. unselfishness

  428. a mutual

  429. both looking out

  430. for the interests

  431. of one another

  432. and the rights

  433. of one another

  434. he called it

  435. a double wall

  436. of gentleness

  437. that Satan

  438. can't penetrate

  439. Satan wants to

  440. accuse us

  441. one to the other

  442. he wants to

  443. divide and try

  444. to conquer

  445. and God puts

  446. in the Christians

  447. by the Holy Spirit

  448. in each of us

  449. a gentleness

  450. toward one another

  451. that we learn

  452. from Christ

  453. a humility

  454. to serve one another

  455. and this puts up

  456. a double wall

  457. against the attacks

  458. of Satan

  459. to penetrate

  460. and try to

  461. break up his church

  462. Polycarp

  463. similarly

  464. he said

  465. this is like

  466. it's participating

  467. one another

  468. by the gentleness

  469. of the Lord

  470. it's his gentleness

  471. and kindness

  472. in us

  473. and we participate

  474. for one another

  475. to protect the walls

  476. of the church

  477. for the glory

  478. of God

  479. it's to walk

  480. in Christ's

  481. meekness

  482. and humble

  483. footsteps

  484. Jesus said

  485. blessed are the meek

  486. for they shall

  487. inherit

  488. the earth

  489. you know

  490. how this looks

  491. in our lives

  492. I think it can take

  493. a variety of forms

  494. really small tasks

  495. we do every day

  496. one another

  497. you all do here

  498. on a Sunday

  499. and it can also take

  500. really colorful expressions

  501. different parts of the world

  502. that we would never

  503. even be aware of

  504. so we share this

  505. as a testimony

  506. to God's faithfulness

  507. one example like that

  508. is from an evangelist

  509. in China

  510. named Watchman Nying

  511. and he told about

  512. this Christian

  513. who was a farmer

  514. and he had a rice plantation

  515. and because it was

  516. on the mountains

  517. you had to create a terrace

  518. and you have different levels

  519. of rice plantation

  520. and when you irrigate one

  521. you have these little

  522. dikes that open up

  523. the water

  524. and it can flow

  525. to the lower fields

  526. well this Christian

  527. happened to live

  528. way high up

  529. on the mountain

  530. and he had access

  531. to water

  532. and he would do

  533. the hard work

  534. of getting up

  535. every morning

  536. and letting that

  537. water flood

  538. his rice plantation

  539. but he noticed

  540. the pattern

  541. that his neighbor

  542. who was not a believer

  543. kept opening up

  544. the dikes

  545. without permission

  546. and draining out

  547. the water

  548. so that the Christian's

  549. crops start to get dry

  550. and he couldn't

  551. figure out why

  552. and this neighbor

  553. that was further down

  554. with the help of gravity

  555. was stealing his water

  556. so the Christian

  557. did not know

  558. what to do

  559. and he went to his church

  560. and they prayed together

  561. they searched the scriptures

  562. and the church

  563. encouraged him

  564. his fellow brothers

  565. and sisters in Christ

  566. encouraged him

  567. to be like Christ

  568. be humble

  569. think of your interest

  570. but also the interest

  571. of others

  572. and with the power

  573. of the Holy Spirit

  574. and the example

  575. of Jesus Christ

  576. this believer

  577. started getting up

  578. two hours earlier

  579. and he would first

  580. fill up his neighbor's

  581. field with water

  582. take care of his needs

  583. and then he would

  584. keep working

  585. and fill up his own

  586. field with water

  587. say well hold on

  588. in this example

  589. this is dealing

  590. with the church

  591. it's talking about

  592. unity within the church

  593. serving those

  594. within the body

  595. brothers and sisters

  596. we don't know

  597. which souls

  598. Jesus died for

  599. and it's whoever

  600. will believe

  601. will reveal to us

  602. who it is

  603. well in this example

  604. in China

  605. this evangelist

  606. shares this story

  607. that that neighbor

  608. who was stealing water

  609. and then got served

  610. so generously

  611. and humbly

  612. by this Christian

  613. he wanted to see

  614. if this is real

  615. he wanted to understand

  616. why

  617. and he came to church

  618. and became friends

  619. and got saved

  620. he's part of the church

  621. now

  622. he was one for whom

  623. Christ had died

  624. all along

  625. and this was the means

  626. this suffering

  627. and this sacrifice

  628. of the Christian

  629. looking out for the

  630. interests of his neighbor

  631. was the means

  632. God used

  633. to bring another soul

  634. into his family

  635. Romans 14 19

  636. says let us pursue

  637. what makes for peace

  638. and for mutual up building

  639. how do we do this

  640. what Jesus said

  641. in Matthew 11 29

  642. learn from me

  643. we learn from Jesus Christ

  644. he says I am meek

  645. and lowly in heart

  646. learn from me

  647. and there's no striving

  648. you will instead

  649. you'll find rest

  650. for your souls

  651. so church

  652. God's glory

  653. is magnified on earth

  654. as you and I

  655. learn

  656. the humility

  657. of Christ himself

  658. from Christ

  659. by the work

  660. of the Holy Spirit

  661. in us

  662. so let this mind

  663. of Christ

  664. be in you

  665. more and more

  666. and that's how you

  667. and I get to magnify

  668. the glory

  669. of our creator

  670. right here on the earth

  671. where he's put us

  672. to the glory

  673. of God the Father

  674. let's pray

  675. we confess

  676. this is all your work

  677. from start to finish

  678. and you who began

  679. a good work

  680. you will see it through

  681. to completion

  682. we ask that your Holy Spirit

  683. illumine to us

  684. how it is you want

  685. to apply this truth

  686. for your glory

  687. in our lives today

  688. amen

  689. oh my God

  690. then
