Hi there, welcome to NECF. We're excited to share today's message with you. Don't
-
go anywhere, stay with us to the end for some valuable resources to enrich your faith.
-
Here's today's sermon.
-
We're going to continue today on the teaching Manifesting the Kingdom of God. Manifesting
-
the Kingdom of God. I just want to thank God for this opportunity to bring the Word to
-
us. I also want to thank the pastorates for the opportunity. I just want to advise you
-
that whatever would distract you, whatever would make you want to go outside, they can
-
wait. Praise the Lord, they can wait. Just like Pastor Victor was leading us in prayers
-
and he said, and often time people that lead us in prayer will say, stop looking at me,
-
just pray, stop looking at me. What they're trying to say to you is that there is no benefit
-
looking at you. There is no profit. Your profit is by praying. Your profit is by paying attention
-
to what is going on. Your profit is by not being distracted in the service. Whoever wants
-
to call you can call you in the next two hours. Praise the Lord. The profit is that you have
-
come from your house. You have taken the time to prepare to dress very well. This is not
-
your usual, for some of you, this is not your usual dress in every day of the week. When
-
you come to the house of the Lord, you don't want that dressing to waste. You don't want
-
that energy to waste. You don't want that you took your time to make a lot of things.
-
You don't want it to waste. So how you can profit is by paying attention, by doing exactly
-
what brought you here. You came here to hear the word of the Lord. You came here to be
-
blessed. You came here to pray. You came here to receive from God. So just set your heart
-
like that. Once you're done, you can handle whatever theme that is waiting for you. Luke
Luke 17 chapter mention
-
chapter 17. Luke chapter 17 verse 11. Now it happened as he went to Jerusalem that he
-
passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee. Then as he entered a certain village, there
-
he met, he met him ten men who were, who were leopards, who stood afar off. And they lifted
-
up their voice and said, Jesus, master, have mercy on us. So when he saw them, he said
-
to them, go show yourself to the priest. And it was when that they had went, they were
-
cleansed. Verse 15. And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, he turned with
-
a loud voice, glorifying God and fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks.
-
And he was a Samaritan. So Jesus answered and said, were there not ten cleansed, but
-
where are the, where are the nine, any found who returned to give glory to God, except
-
this foreigner. And he said to him, arise, go your way. Your faith has made you well.
-
Verse 20. Now when he was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God will come, he answered
-
and said, the kingdom of God does not come with observation, nor would they say, see
-
there or see, see here or see there for indeed the kingdom of God is within you. Praise
-
the Lord. The kingdom of God is within you. So the Pharisees have seen something, they
-
have seen a sign, saw what had happened, that people were healed of their leprosy. They
-
saw a sign, something that they have never seen before, something that it was told them
-
that when the kingdom of God will come, this would be the realities that would follow.
-
They have seen a sign. And so they're trying to find out, could it be that the kingdom
-
of God has come? Right? They're trying to, what is really going on here? Praise the Lord.
-
So they asked, when would the kingdom of heaven come? And he's saying to them that the kingdom
-
of God does not come by observation. The kingdom of God does not come because you have seen
-
that. The kingdom of God does not come because you have seen a miracle. The kingdom of God
-
has, does not come because you have seen something that you have the knowledge of that this would
-
be the thing that will accompany the kingdom. Praise the Lord. It does not come by observation.
-
So they have seen something and we will note throughout the scriptures that the Pharisees
-
were always asking him for a sign. They were always asking Jesus for a sign because they
-
want to know, is he truly the Messiah? Does he have the characteristics of what we have
-
been, what we have studied or what we have been taught? Praise the Lord. We see Matthew
Matthew 16 chapter mention
-
chapter 16, Matthew chapter 16, from verse one to four. Then the Pharisees and the Pharisees
Matthew 16 chapter mention
-
came testing him, asked that he would show them a sign from heaven. He answered and said,
-
when it is evening, you said it will be fair weather for the sky is red. And in the morning,
-
it will be fall weather today for the sky is red and is threatening. Hypocrites, you
-
know how to discern the face of the sky, but you cannot design the sign of the times. We
-
can adore trust generation, seek, seek after a sign and no sign shall be given to you except
-
the sign of the prophet Jonah. And he left them and they perfect. Praise the Lord. So
-
there were always people who were seeking for sign. We also look at that in Mark chapter
-
eight, verse 11 to 12, Mark eight. Then the Pharisees came out and began to dispute with
-
him, seeking from him a sign from heaven testing him. And he sighed deeply in his spirit and
-
said, why does this generation seek a sign? And suddenly I say to you, no sign shall be
-
given to this generation. Luke chapter 28. Now when Harold saw Jesus, he was exceedingly
-
glad for he had desired for a long time to see him because he has had many things about
-
him and he hoped that he will see some miracle done by him. Praise the Lord. John chapter
-
six, John chapter six, 29 to 30. Then Jesus answered and said to them, this is the work
-
of God that you should believe in him. You should believe in him whom he sent. Therefore
-
they said to him, what sign will you perform that we will see it and believe you? What
-
work will you do? John chapter four, verse 48. Then Jesus said to him, unless you people
-
see signs and wonders, you will by no means believe. Praise the Lord. So we see that the
-
Pharisees have always, they're very curious. They always want to see signs. They want to
-
see wonders. They want to see something and believe. Praise the Lord. They want to see
-
something. And now they have seen a glimpse of something that lepers were healed, people
-
that were regarded as outcasts. They cannot live in a society where no more people live.
-
And then they asked them, when will the kingdom come? Praise the Lord. When will the kingdom
-
come? So the Pharisees have expectations. They have things in their mind concerning
-
the kingdom. They have seen something. Finally a sign was shown to them. Finally they have
-
seen something in many other scriptures. We see him doing a lot of things as well. So
-
now they now ask, when will the kingdom come? Praise the Lord. For they were expecting
-
the kingdom. As we have been taught, they were not looking to go to a kingdom. They
-
were expecting the kingdom to come to them. Praise the Lord. And they have seen some things
-
that is telling them that it's possible that the kingdom has come to them. Praise the Lord.
-
When will the kingdom come? They were expecting the kingdom. They were not looking forward
-
to a kingdom. It was a kingdom that was coming to them. Praise the Lord. It was a kingdom
-
that was coming to them. So throughout the teachings we have been saying or we have been
-
trying to understand or teach us what the kingdom is, or the kingdom of heaven. And
-
then we said from our studies and as we know that the word kingdom there is the word, Basilia,
-
which means dominion or royal power or rule. Praise the Lord. Or kingship. Right? But we
-
also, we also, the word there is not to be confused for kingdom. Like the kingdom that
-
you know, like the Benin kingdom, it should not be confused for those type of kingdoms.
-
Like England, it should not be confused for those type of kingdoms. But rather the rights
-
or authority to rule. Praise the Lord. So he's not talking about a domain. He's not
-
talking about a place. He's not talking about, so what he says the kingdom of heaven, he's
-
not talking about a place. He was talking about dominion. He's talking about a royal
-
power. The right to rule. Praise the Lord. So we also see this Basilia used in Matthew
Matthew 6 chapter mention
-
chapter 6. Matthew chapter 5 verse 10. It's the same word that we see here. Blessed are
-
those who are persecuted for righteousness sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
-
Right? This is exactly the same word that was used there. Verse 20 of Matthew chapter
Matthew 5 chapter mention
-
5. For I say to you that unless your righteousness exceed the righteousness of the scribes and
-
the Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. He's talking about
-
the same thing. Matthew chapter 6 verse 9 to 10. In this manner therefore pray, our
-
Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. The word heaven there, so the word kingdom there
-
is the word Basilia. Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven is
-
the same word Basilia. Matthew chapter 9 verse 35. Then Jesus went about all the cities and
-
the villages teaching in their synagogue, preaching the gospel of the kingdom and healing every
-
sickness and every disease among the people. The word kingdom there is the same word as
-
Basilia which means royal power, which means dominion, which means rule. Matthew chapter
-
12 verse 28. Matthew chapter 12 verse 28. If I cast out demons by the Spirit of God,
-
surely the kingdom of God has come upon you. Praise the Lord. So it's the same word as
-
Basilia. If he cast out demons by the Spirit of God, surely the kingdom of heaven has come
-
upon you. So the kingdom of heaven has possibilities, praise the Lord, that he say if I cast out
-
demons by the Spirit of God, the kingdom of God has come upon you. Matthew chapter 13
-
verse 31 to 32. Another parable, he put forth to them saying the kingdom of heaven is like
-
a mustard seed which a man too can sow on his field, which indeed at last of all the
-
seed is leavened of all the seeds, but when it's grown is a great grass among the house
-
and it becomes a tree so that the birds of the air can come and nest in its branches.
-
So the same word here that he used for kingdom is the same word as Basilia. Matthew chapter
-
33. Another parable he spoke to them, the kingdom of heaven is like a leaven when a
-
woman takes and hides it in three measures of milk it is all leavened. Verse 44. Again
-
the kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in a field which a man find and hides and
-
for joy over is he goes and sell all that he has and buys the field. Verse 45 to 46.
-
Again the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls. Verse 46. And when
-
he found one pearl of great price went and sold all he had and bought it. Praise the
-
Lord. So the word their place kingdom is the same word that was used in Luke chapter 17
Luke 17 chapter mention
-
and then Matthew chapter 16 verse 9. Do you not understand or remember? I think this is
-
the starting mug so the manifestation of the kingdom is, when we say
-
the manifestation of the kingdom we are talking about royal power of God. We're
-
talking about the royal power of God, we are talking about the manifestation of the
-
royal power of God, we are talking about the manifestation of the dominion of God. We're
-
talking about the manifestation of the rule of God. This is what we are saying the manifestation
-
of the rule of God and then he tells them that it does not come by observation. The manifestation
-
of the rule or the dominion of God does not come by observation. Praise the Lord. He's telling to
-
say to them that it is not something that is physically seen. It is not something that you
-
physically discern. Praise the Lord. It's also something that you physically discern. It's also
-
something that you will say, look, there it is. Look, but it's something else. It's not something
-
that is humanly understood. Praise the Lord. The Pharisees cannot understand it. It's not something
-
that they can understand. That is why if you read 2 Corinthians chapter 4 from verse 3 to 6,
2 Corinthians 4 chapter mention
-
for our gospel, but even if our gospel is veiled, is veiled to those who are perishing,
-
whose mind the God of this age has blinded, who do not believe the least of the light of the gospel,
-
of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God and should shine on them. For we do not preach
-
ourself, but Christ the Lord and ourself, your bold servant for Christ. 6. For it is God who
-
commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the
-
knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. Praise the Lord. If the gospel is veiled,
-
if it's not understood, it is not understood by those who are perishing. It is not physically
-
discerned. It is not intellectually discerned. Praise the Lord. They cannot understand it. So
-
that's why He's saying to them that it is not by observation. It is not by what you are able to
-
observe. It is not by your studies of what you have known or how you could understand matter or
-
physics. Praise the Lord. It is not observed like that. So how does the kingdom come? How does the
-
kingdom come? So like we said, the kingdom of God is not about what is about what will come, not what
-
where you'll be going, right? It's not about what, it's not about where you'll be going, but what
-
will come. And then He said to them that the kingdom of God is within you. Praise the Lord.
-
The kingdom of God is within you. Our Emperor Victor was preaching. He made us to understand
-
that He's not talking about within as within the Pharisee. Praise the Lord. He's not talking about
-
in the inside of your heart. It's the fact that Christ is with them, physically there. Praise the
-
Lord. Christ is with them. So because that is, it means that the kingdom of God within you means that
-
Jesus is there with them. He was their expectation. He was the expectation. Whatever they were
-
expecting, Jesus was that expectation. That's why He said the kingdom of God is within you. He was
-
the expectation. It was what was to come. Praise the Lord. He was present with them, but not in
-
woman, believe me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain or in Jerusalem
-
worship the father. For the father is seeking such to worship him. The God is spirit and those who
-
worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. How does the kingdom come? How does the
-
kingdom come? So He's making clear to her that it's not your usual way. It's not the normal way
-
again that you know of, that you seek God by going to Jerusalem, that you seek God by going
-
to a mountain, that you seek God or God is as they know, just with the Jews. Praise the Lord. He's
-
saying to her that the hour is coming and He said, now it is. Now is, right? So what He's also saying
-
to her is that the kingdom has come because He's there with her. Praise the Lord. He said, when the
-
true worshipers, when the true worshipers will worship the father in spirit and in truth, for the
-
father seeks such to worship him. He said, God is spirit and those who worship him must worship him
-
in spirit and in truth, must worship him in spirit and in truth. It is spiritually disowned.
-
Praise the Lord. It is spiritually disowned. It is a spiritual worship. We saw in the,
-
in these cell meetings that the word heaven as well is synonymous to the word spirit. Praise the
-
Lord. So God seeks such to worship him. He said, now is because the kingdom has come. 1 Corinthians.
-
How does the kingdom come? 1 Corinthians, chapter 20, 1 Corinthians 1 verse 20 to 25.
-
So where is the wise, where is the scribe, where is the disposer of this age? Has God,
-
has not God made foolishness the wisdom of this world? For since in the wisdom of God,
-
the world through wisdom did not know God. It pleased God through the foolishness of the message
-
preached to save those who believed. For Jews require sign and Greeks seek for wisdom.
-
But we preach Christ crucified to the Jews, the stumbling block and to the Greek foolishness. But
-
to those who are called both Jews and Greek, Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God.
-
Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
-
Praise the Lord. So he's saying today in verse 20 to 21 that the kingdom of God does not come
-
as men expect. It's not in the excellency of their expectation. It doesn't come like that.
-
Right? The kingdom does not come in the excellency of the expectation of men. It's not the way they
-
want it to be. It doesn't come like that. Praise the Lord. Can we put our scripture up here?
-
Verse 20 to 21. He said to them that where is the wise and where is the scribe, where is the
-
disposer of this age? Has God not made the foolishness of the, sorry, has God not made
-
foolishness the wisdom of this world? Verse 21. For since in the wisdom of God, the world through
-
wisdom did not know God. It pleased God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message
-
preached to those who believe. Praise the Lord. So the kingdom does not come by the
-
wisdom of men. Praise the Lord. He does not come in the excellency of the expectation.
-
Maybe men suppose that the kingdom of God will come in a grand style, the way a king should come,
-
the way a kingdom should be dominated by the wars they have fought, by the things that they have
-
understood. It doesn't come in the expectations of men. It doesn't come in a way that the natural
-
man will understand. It comes in a way that men will regard foolishness. Praise the Lord. He comes
-
in a way that men will regard foolishness. In verse 22, he tells us that the Jews seek the sign,
-
and we have seen it through the scriptures. They have been asking him, show us a sign.
-
They want to believe by sight. They want to believe by a performance. They want to believe
-
by something. The Greek seek for wisdom, but it doesn't come like that. That's why they ask him,
-
when would the kingdom come? Because they have seen a sign. They have seen something.
-
The ten lepers were clings. So they ask him, when would the kingdom of God come? Because they saw
-
a sign. And the Greek, they seek wisdom, but God has made that foolishness. Right?
-
In verse 23 of that 1 Corinthians, that's Corinthians 1 verse 23.
-
But we preach Christ crucified to the Jews a stumbling block, and to the Greek foolishness.
-
Praise the Lord. So the preaching of the gospel is stumbling block to the Jews and to the Greek
-
foolishness. Praise the Lord. But that is how the kingdom comes. But that is how the kingdom
-
comes. That is how the kingdom comes to men. That is how the kingdom comes to the heart of men.
-
The sick sign and the sick wisdom. But that's not how it comes. It's how we preach Christ
-
crucified. And to them that is a stumbling block. What are you saying? I'm seeking for something
-
tangible. I'm seeking for something that I can hold on to. I'm seeking for something that's,
-
oh, this is a sign. I'm seeking for a wisdom. Make it make sense to me. Let it be beyond my
-
imagination. But then the preaching of the gospel become a stumbling block to them. Praise the Lord.
-
Because the sick sign and the sick wisdom. Verse 24 of that 1 Corinthians. But those who are called
-
both Jews and Greek, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. Praise the Lord. So Christ is
-
the kingdom of God. Praise the Lord. Christ is the kingdom of God. Christ is the kingdom
-
of God. Christ is the kingdom of God. It is God's wisdom to make it that way. Praise the
-
Lord. It is God's wisdom to make this that way. So the kingdom of God is spiritually the Son. The
-
kingdom of God is spiritually the Son. So the kingdom of God is within you means that the coming
-
of Jesus was the coming of the kingdom of God. Praise the Lord. The coming of Jesus was the coming
-
of the kingdom. The coming of Jesus was a was a coming of the kingdom because he was there with
-
them. He said for it is within you. So the kingdom of God or the royal power of God is the coming of
-
the Christ. The dominion of God is the coming of the Christ. John chapter 6. How will the kingdom
John 6 chapter mention
-
Still seeking for your sight they said. Therefore they said to him, what sign will you perform that
-
we may see it and believe? What work will you do? Our fathers ate meat, ate the manna in the desert
-
as it is written, he gave them bread from heaven to eat. Then Jesus said to them,
-
most assuredly I say to you, Moses did not give you the bread from heaven but my father gave you
-
the true bread from heaven. Praise the Lord. So they did not understand what actually
-
happened or what the coming of Christ meant. Praise the Lord. So the bread from heaven,
-
if it is truly the bread from heaven that Moses gave them, it means that they were going to be
-
sustained forever. There was no going to be hunger. Praise the Lord. Because it is spiritual.
-
It is something that should not, they should never hunger again. There should not be any need for
-
taste again. But he is not trying to correct them. He is trying to correct their doctrines and the
-
things they have believed. He said for Moses, he said Moses did not give you the bread from heaven
-
but my father gave you the true bread from heaven. He was speaking of himself. Praise the Lord.
-
For the bread of heaven, firstly, for the bread of God is he who comes down from heaven and gives
-
life to the world. How does the kingdom come? The kingdom of God comes because Christ has come.
-
He said he came down from heaven and gave life to the world. Then they said to him, Lord give us
-
this bread always. And Jesus said to them, I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never
-
hunger. Praise the Lord. Did we see? He is trying to correct the thing they have belief. So if they
-
have truly ate the bread of life, they will never hunger. Right? They will not be separated from God.
-
Praise the Lord. There will not be a disconnection from God. But then he tells them that I am the
-
bread of life and he who comes to me shall not hunger and he who believes in me shall never
-
thirst. But then I said to you, but I said to you that you have seen me and yet do not believe.
-
Praise the Lord. They were still seeking for a sign. Praise the Lord. He said he that has
-
has brought life to you is with you and yet you do not believe. Praise the Lord.
-
And this would make me begin to think about
-
the many people who have grown up in church and maybe they will find out that they are not safe
-
later on in life. What do we think was what was happening to them? That the message has always
-
been there. It has always been taught. Right? They have always been amiss where it is preached.
-
Like every day, like all of us are sitting here right now, like every Sunday, like every Wednesday,
-
like every Friday, the word keeps coming. You go online, you will find the word. But then there is
-
no salvation. There is nothing that has happened to you. Praise the Lord. Is it that you are seeking
-
for a sign? Or to them that believe later on was it that they were seeking for a sign? Maybe
-
somebody has not laid hands and you see a creeper walk, so I have not yet believed. You have never
-
experienced that. You have never been in the surrounding where such things happen. So you are
-
still, you are not sure about these things. Praise the Lord. Because to you it has not made sense
-
yet. To you, you have not seen the power yet. Praise the Lord. Remember, he says, the kingdom
-
of God does not come by observation. Praise the Lord. It does not come by observation. It does not
-
come by observation. Verse 36. But I say to you that you have seen me and you do not believe,
-
and yet do not believe. All that the Father gives me will come to me. And the one who comes to me
-
I will by no means hast away. For I have come down from heaven not to do my own will, but the will
-
of he who sends me. And this is the will of the Father who sent me, that all he had given me that
-
I should lose nothing, but should be raised up, raised it up at the last day. And this is the will
-
of he who sent me, that everyone should see the Son and believe in him, that he may have everlasting
-
life, I will be raised up with him at the last day. Praise the Lord. So Jesus is the kingdom of heaven.
-
Praise the Lord. He said this is the will of he who sent me, that everyone who sees the Son and
-
believes in him may have everlasting life and will be raised up at the last day. Praise the Lord.
-
So this is how the kingdom comes. This is how the kingdom comes. And the most popular place
-
And Jesus replied, very truly I say to you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.
-
How can a man be born again when they are old Nicodemus acts? Surely they cannot enter the second time
-
into their mother's womb to be born. And Jesus answered, very truly I say to you, no one can see,
-
no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born again. They are born of water and the Spirit.
-
Flesh gives birth to flesh. I'm reading a different translation. I have two. Okay.
-
Jesus answered and said, verse 3, and said to him, most assuredly I say to you, unless one is born
-
again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus said to him, how can a man be born when he's old?
-
Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born? And Jesus answered, most assuredly
-
I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
-
That which is flesh is flesh. And that which is born of flesh is flesh. And that which is born of
-
Spirit is Spirit. Do not marvel that I say to you, you must be born again. The wind blows where it
-
wishes. And you hear the sound of it but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is
-
anyone who is born of the Spirit. Praise the Lord. He's saying to them that it cannot be
-
physically discerned, right? It cannot be by understanding. It cannot be by that which you
-
understand. And Basavito really made a very good point when he was preaching. And he said that
-
the man asked Jesus, he said, he said, Rabbi, he said to him, this man came to Jesus by night and
-
said, Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from God. No one can see, no one can do this sign
-
that you do unless God is with him. Praise the Lord. So he wanted to put Jesus in a box. He said
-
to him, you are a teacher, right? But then Jesus said to him that most assuredly I say to you,
-
unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Praise the Lord. So he's trying to,
-
he said, Basavito said, he's trying to push his attention to see that he is the kingdom of God.
-
He's not a teacher come from God. Praise the Lord. He's not a prophet. Do you know what that means?
-
A teacher comes from God. Isaiah is a teacher come from God. Jeremiah is a teacher come from God.
-
Praise the Lord. You're a teacher come from God. But Jesus is not a teacher come from God.
-
Praise the Lord. So the man is trying to, he's trying to bring him down to the level of
-
where he's not even what to be. And he told him that unless you are born again, you cannot see the
-
kingdom of God. Praise the Lord. So he's not a teacher come from God. Verse three. So you cannot
-
see the rule or the dominion of God, except you are born again. You cannot see the royal power of
-
God. You cannot see the dominion of God unless you are born again. So he means that the man that does
-
not have a preview or does not have a view of the reality of God, you cannot see the kingdom of God.
-
You cannot you don't have a view of the realities of God. You don't have a view of the the realities
-
of the spirit. It doesn't make sense to you. It can never make sense to you. In verse five he tells
-
him that of God. Praise the Lord. He cannot enter the kingdom of God. He cannot have the experience.
-
He can never have the experience. He can never experience the dominion of God.
-
He can never experience the power of God. He can never experience the rule of God.
-
Praise the Lord. He means that that man is in darkness, he's in bondage,
-
will continue to be in bondage. Praise the Lord. It means that that man does not
-
have an experience of the realities of God.
-
Unless, he said, except you are born a king,
-
you cannot enter the kingdom of God. Verse 6, the Lord said,
-
that which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is Spirit.
-
Praise the Lord. The kingdom can only come by the Spirit. It is spiritual.
-
Praise the Lord. It is not physically designed. It's not something that
-
it can only come by the Spirit. It is the Spirit that does it. Praise the Lord.
-
So he's trying to say to him that we come to the kingdom of God
-
when we have accepted that which Christ has done.
-
We saw it when you have believed. So this is the will of God
-
that those who see him may believe in him and they will have everlasting life.
-
Praise the Lord. That is how a man comes to the kingdom
-
when we have accepted the gospel. Praise the Lord.
-
I was saying, I will go back and see the analogy I said earlier
-
that for those who have sat in church for a long time,
-
right, and the message have come every Sunday and Sunday and Sunday and
-
Sunday, are you waiting for a sign? Are you
-
waiting for a sign? Are you waiting for a sign? Have you
-
accepted the gospel? Have you accepted the gospel?
-
Or are you preaching the gospel, you who have accepted? Have you accepted the
-
gospel? So God has called us into the kingdom
-
to bring men, to bring men to the kingdom. Praise the Lord. To bring men to the
-
kingdom. So the manifestation of the kingdom of
-
God, we can say is the manifestation of the
-
dominion of God. We can say it's the manifestation
-
of the royal power of God. We can say it's a manifestation
-
of the rule of God, which is Christ. Praise the Lord. Do we understand it?
-
The manifestation of the kingdom of God is a manifestation of the royal power of
-
God. It is the manifestation of the dominion
-
of God. It is a manifestation of the rule of God which is Christ. Praise the Lord.
-
The manifestation, he says, is within you. Praise the Lord. So there is a manifestation.
-
There is a manifestation to those who have believed God. There is a manifestation to
-
our faith. There is a manifestation to the belief that we have in Christ. There is a
-
manifestation.
-
One of those manifestations is that the believer speaks. Praise the Lord. We speak. We speak.
-
They are our operations. Praise the Lord. They are our operations. And because you are
-
spiritual, because you were born again, because you are in Christ, you can walk in this manifestation.
-
You can walk in these operations.
-
John 4. Again to this Hamaritan woman. John 4 from verse 23 to 24. He said,
-
But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshippers would worship the Father
-
in spirit and in truth. For God seeks such to worship him. For God is spirit, and those
-
who worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. You are spiritual. Praise the
-
Lord. And part of the studies we are doing in the Salmi team, one of the manifestations,
-
one of the realities of heaven, or spiritual reality, is Christ and the believer. You are
-
spiritual. Praise the Lord. Spiritual beings are not sustained by physical things. Right?
-
That's why Christ would say, that man shall not live by bread alone. He is not saying
-
that bread is not good. You need bread. Praise the Lord. Man shall not live by bread alone,
-
but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. The man that can live by bread
-
alone is a man that is not spiritual. The man that is not in Christ. Not the man that
-
is not spiritual, because it means a lot of things. Right? So specifically, the man that
-
is not in Christ. The man that is not in Christ. So the man that is not in Christ can live
-
by bread alone. Praise the Lord. He can be sustained by bread alone. You cannot be sustained
-
by bread alone. He said, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. So
-
to study the word of God, for example, right? To read the word of God or to pray or to speak
-
the word of God is not something that is strange to you. Right? It shouldn't be strange to
-
you because that's how your sustenance is. There are people, a lot of people here, that
-
if I ask who are eating breakfast, they will raise their hands. Right? They know that they
-
will have, they will not be able to speak to people properly if they don't eat. Praise
-
the Lord. They understand that. Right? So as a spiritual being, you also understand
-
that you cannot perform properly if you are not eating. You cannot perform properly. You
-
cannot speak to people properly if you are not studying the word. You cannot operate
-
in the way you should operate. They can be, you will not see any manifestation if you
-
don't eat the things you're supposed to eat. Praise the Lord because you're spiritual.
-
And he said that those, he seek those to worship him. He said they must worship him in spirit
-
and in truth. Galatians chapter four, Galatians chapter four verse four to seven. But when
-
the fullness of time had come, God sent his son, born of a woman, born under the law to
-
redeem those who are under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. And because
-
you are sons, God has sent his spirit, God has sent forth the spirit of his son into
-
your heart, crying, Abba, father. Therefore you are no longer slaves, but a son. And if
-
you have a son, then you are an heir of God through Christ. Praise the Lord. He said,
-
for he has sent his son, the spirit of his son into our hearts. They were able to cry
-
Abba, father. Praise the Lord. They were able to speak. They were able to call upon the
-
name of the Lord. Praise the Lord. They were able to call the name of the Lord. You are
-
an heir. You're spiritual. There are manifestations. There are operations. Praise the Lord. There
-
are operations. There are manifestations. And for you to be sustained, for you to try,
-
for you to max in the possibilities of God, you need to understand that you need to feed
-
yourself with things that will sustain you. Praise the Lord. You need to feed your things
-
with the things that will sustain you. I think I've said it before. The work of the devil
-
is not to, he doesn't want you to, he knows you can't live. Right? But he wants to make
-
you ineffective. Right? He wants to make you have a mixture of many things. Right? You
-
are in church. You are a child of God. You put that in your bio and your profile. But
-
then he wants you to have a mix of many things. Praise the Lord. Because he knows that in
-
that there is no manifestation. He knows in that there's going to be rising and falling.
-
Today I'm up. I'm firing. Tomorrow I'm walking backward. Praise the Lord. Today I'm up and
-
I'm going. Tomorrow I'm tied down to an addiction. Today I'm walking and I'm going and I'm tied
-
down to this. I'm tied down to that. He knows that if he allows you to remain, to continue
-
to receive the word, to continue to pray, to continue to practice the things of the
-
spirit, that he will not be able to stop you. So he will introduce many things. Just many
-
things. He knows some vibes here and there. Praise the Lord. So that you are not able
-
to be effective. They say lay hands on your brother and pray for them. You're supposed
-
to hear, clear and sound. But there's so many things on your mind. You lay hands, you are
-
praying, you are praying. You cannot hear. Praise the Lord. Because your mind is, let
-
me use the word, combated with many things. Praise the Lord. There's so many things that
-
have happened. You start seeing yourself, ah, will God even hear this prayer? Will I
-
even be able to receive? Because there's a lot of things that he has introduced you to.
-
Praise the Lord. Or they say pray for the sick. You say, ah, me pray for the sick. Where?
-
No, let's wait for pastor to confess. Praise the Lord. The air manifestation. The air manifestation.
-
He says you're spiritual. You're an air of God. Praise the Lord. You carry the spirit
-
of God. And lastly I will just tell you to cherish the word. Cherish the word. Especially
-
the word that is coming from here. From this house of God. Many of us are very confused
-
for a very long time. Very, very long time. You don't need that confusion. Praise the
-
Lord. Especially in regards to the word. What is this? What is that? You don't understand
-
the love of God. You know, you struggle to understand the love of God. You struggle to
-
understand salvation. You struggle to understand many things. But the word is coming from
-
here so that confusions will cease. So you need to cherish the word. That's what I said
-
from the beginning. There is nothing as important as to distract you from what has brought you
-
to the house of the Lord. Because if anything distracts you, those things are gone. You're
-
waiting for next, hopefully next Sunday. Praise the Lord. Hallelujah. This is by our head
