  1. Welcome to NECF sermons.

  2. Each message here is designed to uplift and strengthen you in your walk with God.

  3. Don't miss out, stay with us until the end for a rewarding experience.

  4. Let's dive right in.

  5. So on Sunday we are looking at manifesting the kingdom of God.

  6. Manifesting the kingdom of God.

  7. And we are going to look into some things in regards to that.

  8. But like I said, I want us to be encouraged to be here.

  9. To pay attention to what is going on.

  10. To pay attention to the world.

  11. We know that we are not physically with each other at the same location.

  12. But we can still benefit from properly paying attention to the world.

  13. And receiving the best that we can.

  14. As we know that there is also strength for us.

  15. Every time the word of God comes, it is an opportunity for us to receive from God.

  16. It is an opportunity for us to learn from God.

  17. It is an opportunity for us to be strengthened.

  18. To be assured of the promises of God.

  19. And reassured of what he is doing and what he will continue to do.

  20. God praise the Lord.

  21. Luke chapter 17.

    Luke 17 chapter mention

  22. Luke chapter 17.

    Luke 17 chapter mention

  23. Luke chapter 17 verse 11 to 21.

    Luke 17:11–21

  24. It happened that as he went to Jerusalem that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.

  25. And then he entered a certain village.

  26. There he met ten men who were lepers.

  27. He stood afar off.

  28. And they lifted up their voice and said, Jesus, master, have mercy on us.

  29. So when he saw them, he said to them, go and show yourself to the priest.

  30. And it was that when they went, they were cleansed.

  31. And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned with a loud voice glorifying God.

  32. And falling down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks.

  33. And he was a Samaritan.

  34. So Jesus answered and said, were there not ten cleansed?

  35. But where are the nine?

  36. Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?

  37. And he said to them, arise and go your way.

  38. Your faith has made you well.

  39. Now when he was asked by the Pharisee when the kingdom of God would come, he answered and said to them,

  40. the kingdom of God does not come by observation, nor would they see there or see here or see there.

  41. For indeed, the kingdom of heaven is within you.

  42. Praise the Lord.

  43. And that's when we said that the Pharisees, as we saw, and the Greeks have always sought

  44. to intellectually understand the scriptures or they have thought to,

  45. they have wanted to see a sign so that they can believe Jesus.

  46. They wanted to see something that is tangible, something miraculous.

  47. They were concerned about the miraculous so that they will believe Jesus.

  48. It's not like they have not seen, but they always want him to do something for them.

  49. And so we saw by many scriptures how they would have always asked him for a sign.

  50. And he would say to them, there's no sign to be shown to this generation except for the sign of Jonah.

  51. They saw something, they saw a sign.

  52. They saw a sign. They saw Jesus perform a miracle.

  53. They saw something that Jesus performed the miracle.

  54. So they were curious about the situation and they asked him, he said, when will the kingdom of God come?

  55. Because according to them, they understand that the Christ that will come would have the power to do these things.

  56. He would have the might to do these things.

  57. He would do many miraculous things.

  58. And so they want to be sure if the kingdom of God is here.

  59. And so he said to them that the kingdom of God is not by observation.

  60. The kingdom of God is not by observation.

  61. It's not by what you see.

  62. It's not physically discerned.

  63. It's not something that you physically discern, praise the Lord, when the kingdom of God would come.

  64. So they asked him all of that, praise the Lord.

  65. And they wanted, like I said, they've always wanted a sign.

  66. So we said again that the kingdom of God, for they asked him, when would the kingdom of God come?

  67. It therefore means that they were expecting the kingdom.

  68. They were expecting the kingdom of God.

  69. The Pharisees were expecting the kingdom of God.

  70. I think somebody was discussing and I said, when the Bible or when Jesus was speaking to the Pharisees or when he was speaking,

  71. or when this right, when the Bible was written, the people that had it originally were not confused about what it meant.

  72. Praise the Lord.

  73. The people that had it originally, there was no confusion about, oh, this is what is he trying to say.

  74. Right. It was clear as it is.

  75. They might have a misunderstanding based on what they have held on to.

  76. But what they passed across was very clear.

  77. Praise the Lord.

  78. What was passed across was very clear.

  79. So they were expecting a kingdom to come.

  80. They were expecting a kingdom to come.

  81. They were not expecting to go to a kingdom.

  82. They were expecting that the kingdom of God will come to men.

  83. Praise the Lord.

  84. That the kingdom of God will come to men.

  85. And so we see Jesus telling them that the kingdom is within you.

  86. The kingdom is within you.

  87. The word kingdom is the word that means royal power or rule or dominion.

  88. Like I said, it's not to be confused for domain.

  89. It's not to be confused for an actual kingdom that we know of or for a territory or for a physical location.

  90. It means dominion or the right to rule or royal power.

  91. Praise the Lord.

  92. So they are not confused about it.

  93. We saw so many scriptures that confirm all of that when they asked him, when he tells them a parable,

  94. he said the kingdom of God is like it to this.

  95. He was talking about Basilia, which is the word for the king, the word that was used for the kingdom in Luke chapter 17.

    Luke 17 chapter mention

  96. Praise the Lord.

  97. So the manifestation of the kingdom of God, we will say, is the manifestation of the royal power of God.

  98. Is a manifestation of the royal power of God.

  99. Is a manifestation of the royal power of God.

  100. The manifestation of the dominion of God.

  101. The manifestation of the rule of God.

  102. That's what the manifestation of the kingdom of God is.

  103. And so he tells them that the kingdom of God is not by observation.

  104. It's not something that they can observe.

  105. It's not by what they are trying to see.

  106. It's not by the sign that they have seen that indicates that the kingdom of God is here.

  107. It's not physically the sun, but it is spiritually the sun.

  108. Praise the Lord.

  109. It is spiritually the sun.

  110. So we also saw how the kingdom would come or how the kingdoms come.

  111. How the kingdom comes.

  112. And he tells them in verse 20 that, like we mentioned earlier, they were not expecting the kingdom to go to the kingdom,

  113. but they were expecting that the kingdom should come.

  114. And Jesus said to them that the kingdom is within you.

  115. That is not within the Pharisee, but the fact that Jesus was currently present with them.

  116. It therefore means that the kingdom has come.

  117. The kingdom is with them right there where they are.

  118. The kingdom has come.

  119. Praise the Lord.

  120. So it's not physically the sun.

  121. Second Corinthians, second Corinthians, chapter 4, verse 3.

    2 Corinthians 4:3

  122. Second Corinthians, chapter 4, verse 3 to 6.

    2 Corinthians 4:3–6

  123. He said, But if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing,

  124. whose mind the gods of this age are blinded, who do not believe,

  125. least the light of the gospel, of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God,

  126. should be shown in them, should shine on them.

  127. For we do not preach ourself, but Christ the Lord, and ourselves your born servant for Jesus' sake.

  128. But it is God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shown our light to give,

  129. who has shown in our heart to give the light of the knowledge, of the glory of God,

  130. in the face of Jesus Christ.

  131. Praise the Lord.

  132. It is not physically the sun.

  133. It is not physically the sun.

  134. John chapter 4, verse 21.

    John 4:21

  135. And then to the Samaritan woman, he says,

  136. So the woman said, Jesus replied,

  137. Believe me, a time is coming.

  138. He said, Believe me.

  139. And Jesus said to that woman, Believe me, the hour is coming,

  140. when you would neither on this mountain, or in Jerusalem, worship the Father.

  141. He said, You worship what you do not, what you don't know.

  142. We know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews.

  143. The hour is coming, and now is when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth,

  144. for the Father seeks us to worship him.

  145. Praise the Lord.

  146. So he's telling them that the kingdom has come to them.

  147. So he's even telling the Samaritan woman,

  148. also the implication of their conversation there is that the kingdom has come to them.

  149. He said, Now is when the true worshipers will worship him in truth and in spirit,

  150. for God seeks such worship from them.

  151. Praise the Lord.

  152. For God seeks such worship from them.

  153. We also saw that it is not, that God's kingdom does not come in the excellency of the expectation of men.

  154. We saw that in 1 Corinthians chapter 1 verse 22, 25.

    1 Corinthians 1:22

  155. It does not come as man expects it to come.

  156. What makes the foolish, what makes the wisdom of men foolish?

  157. It's not something that they can understand or discern.

  158. It does not come in the nature that man expects it to come or man can understand it.

  159. Praise the Lord.

  160. It does not come like that.

  161. So he said the kingdom of God is within you, that is, because Jesus was currently there with them.

  162. Because Jesus was currently there with them.

  163. Praise the Lord.

  164. John chapter 3.

    John 3 chapter mention

  165. John chapter 3, verses 1 to 21.

    John 3 chapter mention

  166. Said, It was a man of the Pharisee named Nicodemus, the ruler of the Jews.

  167. This man came to Jesus by night and said to him, Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from God,

  168. for no one can do this thing that you do unless God is with him.

  169. Jesus answered and said to him, Moses, suddenly I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

  170. Nicodemus said to him, how can a man be born when he's old?

  171. Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born?

  172. Jesus said, Moses, suddenly I say to you, unless one is born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

  173. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

  174. Do not marvel that I say to you, you must be born again, for the wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it,

  175. but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes.

  176. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.

  177. Nicodemus said to him, how can this be?

  178. And Jesus answered and said, are you a teacher of Israel and do not know these things?

  179. Moses said, suddenly I say to you, we speak what we know and testify what we have seen, and you do not receive our witness.

  180. If I told you earthly things and you do not believe, how would you believe if I tell you heavenly things?

  181. No one has ascended to heaven, but the one who comes down from heaven, that is the son of man who is in heaven.

  182. And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so was the son of man lifted up, that whosoever believes in him will not perish, but have everlasting life.

  183. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes in him will not perish,

  184. for God did not send his son into the world to condemn the world,

  185. but that the world through him might be saved.

  186. For he who believes in him is not condemned, or he who does not believe in him is condemned already,

  187. because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten son of God.

  188. This is the condemnation that light has come into the world, and men love darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

  189. For everyone who practices evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds be espoused,

  190. for he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.

  191. Praise the Lord, that they have been done in God.

  192. So, still looking at manifesting the kingdom of God, manifesting the kingdom of God.

  193. And we saw from our teaching on Sunday that God, that Jesus is the kingdom of God.

  194. That Jesus is the kingdom of God.

  195. So, in John chapter 3, we see here Jesus having a conversation with Nicodemus,

    John 3 chapter mention

  196. and our pastor told us that Nicodemus tried to call Jesus what he is not.

  197. But Jesus redirected him to what exactly he came to do.

  198. That he is not just a good teacher come from God, but he is the kingdom of God.

  199. Praise the Lord.

  200. He is the kingdom of heaven.

  201. He is the royal power, the dominion of God.

  202. So, he tells him in verse 3 that Moses, suddenly I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

  203. Unless one is born anew, except one is born again.

  204. And as we know, the word again means to be born from above, from a higher place, to be born anew,

  205. to be born from spiritual, praise the Lord, to be born from spiritual.

  206. He said unless a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

  207. He cannot see the royal power of God as we have defined.

  208. He cannot see the dominion of God.

  209. He cannot see the illumination of God.

  210. He cannot see the dimension of God in his life.

  211. Praise the Lord.

  212. It means that that man has no portion with God, except a man be born again.

  213. Except a man be born again.

  214. And what we're trying to see is how God has manifested his love towards us.

  215. Right?

  216. How God has manifested his love towards us.

  217. So, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

  218. He cannot see the royal power of God.

  219. That man does not belong to God.

  220. Or does he understand the realities of God?

  221. He cannot see the kingdom of God.

  222. And in verse 5, he tells us that he tells him again, most astrothingly I say to you,

  223. unless one is born of water and the spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

  224. Right?

  225. So, trying to say to him, and as we also saw previously,

  226. that when he say born of water and the spirit,

  227. he's not speaking about water baptism and being born again.

  228. He's talking about it means water, which is the spirit.

  229. Right?

  230. So, he's talking about the same thing.

  231. Praise the Lord.

  232. So, except a man be born again, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

  233. Except that man is born again, he cannot enter the dominion of God.

  234. He cannot enter the royal power of God.

  235. He cannot enter the rule of God.

  236. That man cannot experience God.

  237. He is a man who is in darkness, who is not of God.

  238. He does not belong to God.

  239. He has no business with God.

  240. He has no relation whatsoever with God.

  241. Praise the Lord.

  242. And we also see in verse 6, he said to him that,

  243. that which is born of flesh is flesh, and that which is born of spirit is spirit.

  244. So, how a person comes to the kingdom of God is spiritual.

  245. It is a spiritual thing.

  246. We come to the kingdom spiritually.

  247. Praise the Lord.

  248. It is a spiritual thing.

  249. It is a spirit that does it.

  250. Praise the Lord.

  251. It is a spirit that does it.

  252. Right?

  253. So, we come to the kingdom when we accept the gospel.

  254. We come to the kingdom when we accept the gospel.

  255. So, the manifestation of the kingdom of God is the manifestation of Christ.

  256. The manifestation of the kingdom of God is the manifestation of Christ.

  257. So, when we say that this year the theme of the church is manifestation of the kingdom of God,

  258. what we are trying to say is that this is the year that as a believer,

  259. you manifest Christ.

  260. This is the year that you manifest Christ.

  261. Praise the Lord.

  262. This is the year that there is a manifestation.

  263. It is a manifestation of Christ.

  264. It is a manifestation of Christ.

  265. So, from verse 6 to 8, we see also that he tells in John chapter 3, right?

    John 3 chapter mention

  266. That the wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it,

  267. but cannot tell where it comes from.

  268. Where it goes.

  269. So, he is anyone who is born of the spirit.

  270. And the Codemus answered and said to him, how can this be?

  271. And Jesus answered and said, are you a teacher of Israel and do not know these things?

  272. Most assuredly, I say to you, we speak of things.

  273. We speak of, we speak what we know and testify what we have seen.

  274. You do not receive us.

  275. You do not receive our witness.

  276. If I tell you earthly things, you do not believe.

  277. How can you believe if I tell you heavenly things?

  278. No one has ascended into the heavens, but he who comes down from heaven,

  279. that he is the son of man who is in heaven.

  280. And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness,

  281. even so must the son of man be lifted up.

  282. That those who have beliefs in him will not perish, but have everlasting life.

  283. So, when he says as Moses was lifted up, right?

  284. He is speaking about his death and he is speaking about his burial and resurrection and ascension.

  285. When he says as Moses is lifted up, as Moses lifted up verse 14,

  286. as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness,

  287. so must the son of man be lifted up.

  288. So, he is saying that the lifting up of the serpent in the wilderness

  289. is a indication of people being saved from the bite of the snake.

  290. People being saved, people's life being spared.

  291. He is using that to depict that the Christ must die and must resurrect.

  292. And that symbolizes salvation.

  293. What we saw in Moses was pointing to what the Christ would do.

  294. What we see in Moses is pointing to what the Christ would do.

  295. So, what do we see in Moses?

  296. Numbers, Numbers chapter 21, Numbers chapter 21, Numbers chapter 21 verse 9.

Numbers 21 chapter mention Numbers 21 chapter mention Numbers 21:9

  297. So, we can start from verse 17.

  298. Then Moses, therefore the people came to Moses and said,

  299. We have seen, but we are speaking against the Lord and against you.

  300. Pray to the Lord that he may take away the serpent from us.

  301. So, Moses prayed for the people.

  302. Then the Lord said to Moses,

  303. Make a fiery serpent and set it on a pole,

  304. and it shall be that everyone who is bitten when he looks at it shall leave.

  305. So, Moses made a brown serpent, a bronze serpent and put it on a pole.

  306. And it was if a serpent had bitten anyone, when he looked at the bronze serpent, he left.

  307. Praise the Lord.

  308. So, he was saying to him that he made a bronze serpent and put it on a pole.

  309. And he set it up that he that is looking for life will look at it.

  310. He that is looking to life will look at it and leave.

  311. Praise the Lord.

  312. So, Jesus was using the same thing to describe what he would do.

  313. Speaking about his death, speaking about his barriers, speaking about his vexed section,

  314. that in doing that, in going to the cross, he will save men.

  315. In going to the cross, salvation will come to men.

  316. In going to the cross, men will be saved.

  317. There will be an opportunity for people to be saved.

  318. Praise the Lord.

  319. This is how he demonstrated his love or he manifested his love towards us.

  320. Praise the Lord.

  321. And we see some of those things, some of the fulfillment of it, right?

  322. In Matthew chapter 25, Matthew chapter 27 verse 35, Matthew 27 verse 35,

Matthew 25 chapter mention Matthew 27:35 Matthew 27:35

  323. then they crucified him, right?

  324. They crucified him and divided his garments, casting lots that he might be fulfilled,

  325. which was spoken by the prophet.

  326. They divided my garment among them and for my clothing they casted lots.

  327. Praise the Lord.

  328. And we also see in John, so the thing that he was speaking that,

  329. so will the Son of Man be lifted up, is the same fulfillment we are seeing here.

  330. John chapter 8, John chapter 8 verse 21,

John 8 chapter mention John 8:21

  331. John chapter 8 verse 21,

    John 8:21

  332. The Jews all said to them, I am going away and you will seek me and will die in your sin.

  333. Where I go you cannot come.

  334. So the Jews answered, would he kill himself because he said, where I go you cannot come.

  335. And he said to them, you are from beneath and from above, you are from this world and I am not of this world.

  336. Therefore I say to you that you will die in your sin if you do not believe that I am he and you will die in your sin.

  337. Then they said to him, who are you?

  338. Jesus said, just what I have been saying to you from the beginning, I have many things to say to you and to judge concerning you,

  339. but he who sent me is true and I speak to the world those things which I heard from him.

  340. They did not understand what he spoke to them about.

  341. Jesus said to them, when you lift me, when you lift up the son of man, then you will know that I am he and that I do nothing of myself.

  342. As my father taught me, I speak these things.

  343. Praise the Lord.

  344. So this thing is when he says when you lift me, he is still talking about the same thing that we saw in the same thing that we saw in the John chapter 3.

    John 3 chapter mention

  345. He is saying just as the serpent is lifted, he is still speaking about his death and his resurrection and ascension.

  346. John chapter 12, John chapter 12, verse 32.

John 12 chapter mention John 12:32

  347. And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, I will draw many to myself. I will draw many to myself.

  348. This he said, signifying what death, what death he would die. Praise the Lord.

  349. So speaking of the same thing, speaking about his death on the cross, burial, his resurrection and ascension. Praise the Lord.

  350. This thing he was speaking, consigning these things. But what we saw here that Moses, when he lifted up this serpent, right, we see in second Kings, second Kings,

  351. that as Moses lifted up this serpent in Numbers 21, verse 9, that the people might be saved by it.

    Numbers 21:9

  352. But then we see what people started doing with it. That which was not signifying the intention of what God wanted it to be used for.

  353. Second Kings chapter 18, verse 4. Praise the Lord.

    2 Kings 18:4

  354. He removed the high things, he removed the high places and broke the sacred pillars and cast and cut down the golden image and broke into pieces the bronze snake that Moses had made.

  355. For until this day the children of Israel were born innocent to it and called it as Shesha.

  356. So we see here that the children of Israel were worshipping this. They have seen a miracle, they have seen something happen.

  357. So they do mind, they have seen, okay, this is a powerful thing we need to continue to worship. This has saved us in the past.

  358. But this was not the intention of God. The lifting up of serpent should not be what should continue, but the lifting up of the Christ. Praise the Lord.

  359. So this was destroyed so that it would not continue because that was not the intention of God. It had become an idol worship.

  360. They have turned it into an idol worship. Praise the Lord.

  361. They have turned it into an idol worship. Right?

  362. So it was broken because the fulfillment of this, as we saw in Matthew and John, and we saw that in the fulfillment of that, that the intention of the, it was, it was, it was intended to save people at the time for a particular event, but not the salvation of their souls.

  363. Because they have turned it into a thing of worship.

  364. So it was intended to save, but for a particular point. But these people have turned it into a thing of worship.

  365. So Jesus was the ultimate salvation. He was the one that was bringing the ultimate salvation.

  366. The people that were killed were beaten by, by, by the, by the serpent.

  367. They were still living the way they were living. Praise the Lord. So, but Jesus was the ultimate salvation. He was the one that will be lifted up. That sin is taking away. Praise the Lord.

  368. So let's dig over to that John, John chapter 3.

    John 3 chapter mention

  369. John chapter 3.

    John 3 chapter mention

  370. Chapter 15. He says that whosoever believes, then he's, okay, let's look on this one.

  371. He said, as Moses lifted up the serpent from the wilderness, even so, Moses, the son of man, was lifted, and whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

  372. So, the lifting up of the serpent did not give everlasting life.

  373. Praise the Lord. He only prevented the people from, prevented the people from dying from the, from being, after being beaten by the serpent.

  374. But the lifting up of Jesus was what, by believing in that, was what brought salvation to men, what brought everlasting life to men.

  375. That was the salvation that came to men. Praise the Lord.

  376. So, he said that whosoever believes in him should not perish. Right?

  377. So this perish is different from the perishing from the, from the, from the serpent bites.

  378. It's a different type of perishing. That it will not be, they should not perish eternally. Right?

  379. That what he's saying here in verse 15 is that they will not perish eternally, but have everlasting life.

  380. But the, the, the perishing of the serpent was that they were going to die. And that was it.

  381. But then he has no eternal consequences compared to that which Christ has done.

  382. And then from verse 15, verse 16 says, For he, for God so loved the boy that he gave his only begotten son,

  383. that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

  384. For God did not send his, for God did not send his son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved.

  385. He who believes in him is not condemned. But he who does not believe in him is condemned already.

  386. Because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten son of God.

  387. And this is the condemnation. The light, this is the condemnation.

  388. The light, the light has come into the world and men love darkness rather than light.

  389. Because their deeds are evil. For whosoever practices evil hates the light.

  390. And does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed.

  391. For he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds might be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.

  392. Praise the Lord. So God has shown his love.

  393. It is love that made him, it is love that has brought about the sacrifice.

  394. It is because of the love that he has for the world, because of the love that he has for the world that brought about the sacrifice of Jesus.

  395. Praise the Lord. It is because of the love that men should not perish, that if they are brought about,

  396. they are brought about Christ dying on the cross for us, that we may be saved, that we may be with him, that we may be in union with him.

  397. So we see here God demonstrating his love towards us.

  398. So the love here requires sacrifice. And love is sacrifice. Praise the Lord.

  399. Jesus did not come to the world to condemn it. He did not come to condemn it, but he came that people and us and everyone might be saved.

  400. This was his agenda, that everyone would be saved.

  401. Everyone would escape the damnation, would escape the eternal punishment of what is to come. Praise the Lord.

  402. Would escape that. And then in verse 19, verse 18, and this, how we escape this is by believing in him who has died on the cross for us.

  403. It is by believing in him who has died on the cross for us. It is by believing in him that we are safe.

  404. It is believing in him, truthfully, that we are safe.

  405. So from verse 19 to 21 tells us that love has come for the people who have rejected the love of God.

  406. That's why there was condemnation there, because they have rejected the love of God.

  407. So God has loved us. So God's love has manifested in this way, that he loved us.

  408. He loved those that he sent his son, that whosoever believes in him will not perish, but have everlasting life.

  409. This is the love that he has manifested and he has shown to us.

  410. This love required sacrifice. This love came with a price.

  411. It wasn't mindful of whether the people deserve or whether they were begging for it or whether they were interested in it or not.

  412. It came because he loved us. Praise God. It came because he loved us.

  413. And because God loves us, he manifested it by sending his son.

  414. Romans chapter 5. Romans chapter 5. Romans chapter 5, from verse 6 to 8.

Romans 5 chapter mention Romans 5 chapter mention Romans 5 chapter mention

  415. So showing us how God has loved us and how God has manifested his love towards us.

  416. He said, for when we were still without strength in due time, Christ died for the ungodly.

  417. For scarcely can a righteous man, sorry, for scarcely for a righteous man would one die.

  418. Perhaps for a good man one should even dare to die. But God demonstrated his own love towards us.

  419. In that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

  420. Much more than having now been justified by his blood, we should be saved from the wrath through him. Praise the Lord.

  421. So we see here Christ manifesting his love. God manifesting his love towards us.

  422. In that Christ died for the ungodly. See, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. Praise the Lord.

  423. So God demonstrated his love towards us while we were still sinners.

  424. And he sent Christ to die for us. He talked about us before us. John chapter 3.

    John 3 chapter mention

  425. John chapter 3 verse 1. Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us that we should be called children of God. Praise the Lord.

    John 3 chapter mention

  426. Therefore the world does not know us because it does not know him. Behold now we are children of God.

  427. And he has not yet appeared. He has not yet been revealed what we should be.

  428. But we know that when he is revealed we shall be like him for we shall see him just as he is. Praise the Lord.

  429. We see here again that God manifesting or demonstrating his love towards us. Praise the Lord.

  430. So God loves us and this love required sacrifice. He required that he sent his son to the world to die for us. Praise the Lord.

  431. So this love does not seek permission to do the thing that is necessary to save us.

  432. His love towards us was not that he asked us whether we are interested in his son coming or he sent his son because of the love that he has for us.

  433. He knows what is good for us. He knows the right thing that is good for us. And so he sent his son to the world.

  434. He knows that we will need these things. Praise the Lord. So love is sacrifice.

  435. So that is how he has manifested his love towards us.

  436. Where is John chapter 4? Where is John chapter 4? Where is John chapter 4? From verse 9 to 11.

John 4 chapter mention John 4 chapter mention John 4 chapter mention

  437. In these the love of God was manifest towards us. That God sent his own begotten son into the world.

  438. That we might live through him. That we might live through him.

  439. In this, in this is love not what we, not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his son to be a propitiation for a sin.

  440. Behold, beloved, if God so loved us, we ought to love one another. Praise the Lord.

  441. So in that God has sent his son into the world to die for us, right?

  442. He demands that we love one another. That we love one another. That we love, that we have love one for another.

  443. In verse 7 of that same John chapter 4, verse John chapter 4, he said, Behold, let us love one another.

John 4 chapter mention John 4 chapter mention

  444. For love is of God. And everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. Praise the Lord.

  445. The source of love is God. The source of love is God. The source of love is God.

  446. So in this here, in manifesting the kingdom of God, one of the things that we would, one of the things that is or has to be manifest is love for one another.

  447. It's love for the believer, love for the unbeliever, love for the people of God. Praise the Lord.

  448. How do we go about showing love? How do we go about showing love? Right?

  449. Second Timothy. Second Timothy. Second Timothy chapter 4.

    2 Timothy 4 chapter mention

  450. Second Timothy chapter 4. From verse 2.

    2 Timothy 4 chapter mention

  451. So for the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine.

  452. But according to their own desire, because they have eating ears, they would heap up for themselves, teachers, and they would turn their ears away from the truth and be turned aside to feebles.

  453. So but you be watchful in all things, endure affliction, do the work of an evangelist and fulfill your ministry. Praise the Lord.

  454. Do the work of an evangelist and fulfill your ministry. As we saw that God loved us, right, even when we are not aware of it,

  455. even when we are not conscious of it, even where we didn't ask for that to be done for us. Right.

  456. He loved us and sent his son and that love required a sacrifice. That love required that we are safe from the wrath of condemnation.

  457. So one of the ways in which we can show love this year, right, one of the work we can show love this year is that we do the work of an evangelist. Praise the Lord.

  458. We do the work of an evangelist. We do the work of an evangelist. Just as there was no permission needed for him to die for us.

  459. There is no permission needed for you to proclaim the gospel to someone because you know that the intention of God and the desire of God is that all men be safe,

  460. that all men come to the truth of the gospel, that all men come to him, that all men are reconciled back to him,

  461. that all men should hear the gospel of truth, that all men should know that which is freely given unto all. Praise the Lord.

  462. So one of the ways we can show love, one of the ways we can manifest love this year is to preach the gospel, to spread the word of the kingdom. Praise the Lord.

  463. He said, do the work of an evangelist. He said, but you yourself be watchful in all things and during affliction, right, do the work of an evangelist and fulfill your ministry.

  464. Praise the Lord. So as the chaos is happening, as there is a wrong doctrine, as there is, as we know, if you talk to somebody, why are you not coming?

  465. He said, I've not yet. There's something that I've not yet. I don't feel it yet. I'm not feeling, I don't know how to explain it, but they're not yet feeling something they are looking for. Praise the Lord.

  466. So they jump from one church to another. I'm looking for something, right? And it's not, sometimes it's not really genuine that they are maybe, yeah, they are going there because the word is not, they're going because the word is not sound or something.

  467. They're just going because they are looking for something that will appease them. Praise the Lord.

  468. Even as people look for doctrines, even as people look for ministries and things that appease them, you do the work of an evangelist. You do the work of an evangelist. Preach the word.

  469. You do the work of an evangelist to preach the word and that work is to preach the word, to be diligent to preach the word. Praise the Lord. To preach the word. It doesn't matter what they are thinking, but you preach the word.

  470. The first thing you can do is to continue to pay attention to some of the teachings that is recommended for you to pay attention to. So all the teachings that is coming and those in the many groups in the church so that you are able to learn, you're able to explain the gospel to somebody.

  471. You're able to share the gospel to somebody. You're able to take away confusions. Praise the Lord. That is one of the ways we can show love to people this year is by teaching the word, by teaching, by doing the work of an evangelist with no permission needed.

  472. You don't need their permission to do the work of an evangelist. You don't need their, it's not whether they like it or they don't like it. You are just doing the work of an evangelist.

  473. First Timothy chapter four, verse six, he said, if you instruct the brethren in these things, you will be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourishing, nourished in the word of faith and of the good doctrines which you have certainly followed.

  474. Praise the Lord.

  475. So, one of the things that you can do as well to show love is for you to pay attention or to instruct the believers in the doctrines of God. So speaking to one another as well. So not just preaching to people who are unsafe, but also speaking to your fellow believers. That's one of the ways we can show love in this year is by speaking to one another.

  476. Is by instructing the believers. Praise the Lord. Because it tells us that so many people, if you read the previous verses will tell you that it will be spirits manifesting in the later days, right?

  477. There are people giving heed to so many types of things. People giving heed to different types of spirits and doctrines of demons. Right?

  478. But you are not supposed to be like that. Praise the Lord. So instructing the believers in the right doctrine, in the proper word of God is one of the ways we can show love in this year.

  479. And then lastly, we're going to read John chapter 13.

    John 13 chapter mention

  480. John chapter 13.

    John 13 chapter mention

  481. John chapter 13, verse 34.

    John 13:34

  482. The new commandment I give you that you love one another as I've loved you.

  483. That you also love one another.

  484. By this all will know that you are my disciple if you have love for one another.

  485. And Simon Peter. Praise the Lord. So that's the place we're reading. So that the new commandment I've given you that you love one another just as I've loved you. Right?

  486. That you will also love one another.

  487. By this all will know that you are my disciple if you have love for one another. Praise the Lord.

  488. So one of the ways we can manifest the kingdom is to show love to one another. Is to show love to one another. Is to speak with each other in love.

  489. As I said earlier, love is a sacrifice. Love requires sacrifice. It requires a lot of things.

  490. It requires for you to be selfless. Praise the Lord.
