Welcome to NECF Sermons.
-
Each message here is designed to uplift and strengthen you in your walk with God.
-
Don't miss out, stay with us until the end for our rewarding experience.
-
Let's dive right in.
-
In a way to introduce some of the things that we'll be discussing and then going through
-
the Scriptures, we understand that Christ spoke from the Scriptures.
-
And we understand that when we say the Scriptures, we don't mean Old Testament and we don't
-
mean New Testament.
-
We also understand also that we've been taught, if you have been in this church, we've been
-
taught that both Old Testament and New Testament are all Scriptures.
-
And we also understand why we say they are all Scriptures.
-
We established that one is because they were not a product of man's will.
-
They never originated from the will of man.
-
Hallelujah.
-
And the prophets spoke as they were inspired by the Holy Ghost.
-
And we also understand also they are all Scriptures because they carry one message.
-
And what is the message?
-
The message of Christ concerning Jesus.
-
So why Matthew is the Scripture, why Genesis is also a Scripture, is because they were
-
never from the origin of man's will.
-
Praise God.
-
Secondly, we also understand that as many that were canonized, the books that were canonized
-
for us today, that we are going through, right, and we pull all together, we understand also
-
that all the saints came or the prophets spoke or the apostles spoke as they were inspired
-
by the Spirit of God.
-
We also understand that all of them have one message.
-
And the message is about who concerning Christ.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Praise God.
-
So we also say, so when I take New Testament and I'm reading New Testament, actually what
-
you're doing is that you are actually reading the Old Testament.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Why?
-
Because we see the Old Testament and the stories that we see revealed now by the Spirit of
-
God in New Testament.
-
So I'm using Old Testament and New Testament now because of, you know, this teaching now,
-
right?
-
See, when Moses wrote Genesis, he didn't intend that it will be an Old Testament book.
-
When Paul wrote his letters, he didn't say, I, Paul the apostle, a servant of Christ,
-
am writing to the church in Ephesus.
-
You, this letter of mine, in time to come, classify it as a New Testament.
-
No.
-
So translators will sit down in a way to help us, right, and put the thoughts now, they
-
will now put everything and then we have the classification of Old Testament that was and
-
New Testament and then further now divided into chapters and verses.
-
And I gave us an assignment.
-
I don't know whether anyone was able to go and check, right, to go to a Bible without
-
chapters and verses just to read, even if it is one page, right?
-
You will be able to now see all the things that we said on Sunday.
-
So, we also established Christ got that from where?
-
For him to say all authority in heaven and in earth has been given to me.
-
Where did he get that from?
-
Or all power?
-
We said from the scriptures.
-
How did we know from the scriptures?
-
We now read Luke 24.
-
Everybody, let's go to 24.
-
Luke 24, from verse 25.
-
Then he said unto them, O fools and slow of heart, to believe that all that the prophets
-
have spoken, or not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory.
-
And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures
-
the things concerning himself.
-
Verse 44 now.
-
And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you while I was yet with
-
you, that all things must be fulfilled.
-
All the things must be fulfilled, the things that the prophets and Moses have spoken about,
-
inspired by the spirit of God, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets,
-
and in the psalms concerning me.
-
So we can put that verse like this.
-
Brethren, while I was yet, O from verse 44, and he said unto them, These are the words
-
which I spake unto you while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled from
-
the scriptures concerning me.
-
Amen.
-
And then he opened their understanding that they might understand what the scriptures,
-
that they might understand what Moses said, that they might understand what the prophets
-
said concerning who?
-
Concerning me, concerning Christ, concerning himself.
-
So Christ now, having also have an understanding of the scriptures, now you see, you see it's
-
a dangerous thing for the believer to have utterances that are ignoramus.
-
When I say ignoramus, he now is just saying things because people are saying it.
-
Your identity as a believer must be validated by the gospel.
-
Did you hear what I said?
-
He said in him, in us, in us, we always said, in him we live, in him we move, in him we
-
have our being.
-
Your life as a believer must be within the environment of God's word.
-
Our actions, our thoughts, it's a being of big, do not be conformed to the patterns of
-
the world, Romans chapter 12, but be it transformed by the world, by the renewing of your mind.
Romans 12 chapter mention
-
Your mind being transformed, being renewed by what?
-
By God's word.
-
All the things that participate in life and godliness has been given to us, right, through
-
the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, our Lord.
-
So the knowledge we have must be standing or must have a source from the scriptures.
-
So there was a time in this church we had a thing, effective, I think effective Christian
-
life, right?
-
Yeah, it is one of these years that we had a thing, effective Christian living or effective
-
Christian life, one of it.
-
So that word effective Christian life, every Christian life is supposed to be effective.
-
But when we see 1 Corinthians, for example, 1 Corinthians chapter 3, it's happening in
1 Corinthians 3 chapter mention
-
your life, right, where you ought to be spiritual, but now you are acting as canal, right?
-
Be now understand that your knowledge is faulty regarding the scriptures.
-
Your communications, your sayings are what?
-
Are faulty.
-
So Jesus could not be speaking because he felt he is Christ.
-
No, Jesus will have to be speaking from where?
-
From the written word.
-
The believer must operate from the written word.
-
That's what I've been saying.
-
That is where we, that is the manual for our operation from the written word.
-
And so now we are realized that the scriptures are concerning Christ, right?
-
And we now read 1 Corinthians chapter 15, everybody.
1 Corinthians 15 chapter mention
-
1 Corinthians chapter 15.
1 Corinthians 15 chapter mention
-
Thank you, Holy Spirit.
-
This evening I came, you know, experienced some symptoms of headache, but the symptom
-
is gone now.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Yes, it's gone now.
-
I can't feel it again.
-
1 Corinthians chapter 15 from verse 3.
1 Corinthians 15 chapter mention
-
For I deliver unto you first of all that which I also received.
-
Now you see how that Christ died for our sins according to what?
-
According to the scriptures.
-
Hallelujah.
-
So which means the scriptures, how Christ died, the scriptures spoke about it.
-
Amen.
-
Verse 4, and that he was buried and that he rose the third day, we are reading 1 Corinthians
-
15, verse 4, and that he was buried and that he rose again the third day according to the
-
what?
-
According to the scriptures.
-
And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve and then the communication continues.
-
How that Christ died according to what?
-
The scriptures.
-
And Jesus now is saying, you know, Moses and the prophets spoke my sufferings and how I
-
will enter into my glory.
-
Amen.
-
And he opened their understanding that they may understand all these realities.
-
So the reality of what we are doing when we go through the word, when we are taught in
-
the words, you know, to understand the word of faith is that we understand our reality
-
in Christ.
-
We understand our reality in Christ.
-
Now we also start to understand on something.
-
Right?
-
Can we go to Acts chapter 19, everybody?
Acts 19 chapter mention
-
Acts chapter 19, verse 20.
-
Acts chapter 19, verse 20.
-
So mightily grew the word of God and it what?
-
And it prevailed.
-
Hallelujah.
-
At this time, Paul was not teaching from Ephesians.
-
Paul was not teaching from Galatians.
-
He wasn't teaching from Romans.
-
Paul was teaching from Genesis to what?
-
To Malachi.
-
Praise God.
-
Can you imagine that Paul could preach so mightily and the knowledge and the influence
-
of Genesis to Malachi, hew in the city in a span of two years.
-
It grew that in all of, go to verse 10, everybody go to verse 10, go to verse 10, 19, 10.
-
And this continued by the space of two years so that all day which dwelt in Asia had the
-
word of God in Ephesians and in Galatians.
-
Is that what it means?
-
No?
-
Had the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and what?
-
What is the word of the Lord there?
-
What is the word of the Lord Jesus?
-
Genesis to Malachi.
-
Acts chapter two now.
-
Let's immediately see Acts chapter two.
-
Acts chapter two.
-
Immediately when Peter stood to speak, Acts chapter two, you're going to see lots and
-
lots of statements from Genesis to Malachi, verse 14.
-
But Peter standing up with the eleven lifted up his voice and said unto them, Ye men of
-
Judea, all that dwell as Jerusalem, be these known unto you and hearken to my words.
-
For these are not drunken as yet supposed, seeing it is for the third hour of the day.
-
But this is that which was spoken by who?
-
By prophet Joel.
-
Hallelujah.
-
And it shall come to pass in the last days, said God, I will pour out of my spirit upon
-
how many flesh, upon all flesh, and your sons and daughters shall prophesy.
-
Can you see?
-
Peter is speaking about a present reality and he's saying that these happenings that
-
you're seeing happening now, they are happenings that actually are validated from what the
-
prophets have spoken.
-
So when we read Joel chapter two, right, you can see the fulfillment of those promise,
-
the prophecy.
-
And you know Peter didn't stop there.
-
He continued verse 25.
-
He cared about David.
-
For David's care concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is
-
on my right hand, that I should not be moved.
-
Where was he speaking from?
-
From verse 16, verse 8, you see, that Peter could preach the gospel from Genesis to Malachi
-
and verse 38.
-
Now then Peter said unto them, Repent and baptize every one of you in the name of Jesus
-
Christ.
-
For the remission of sins and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
-
For the promise is unto you and to your children and to all that are far off, even as many
-
as the Lord our God shall call.
-
And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this
-
unto all generations.
-
See verse 21, verse 21.
-
Then they that gladly received his words, his words, which words?
-
The teachings from Genesis to Malachi, from Moses and the prophets concerning Christ.
-
And the same day there were added unto them about how many thousand souls?
-
Three thousand souls.
-
Where did he preach the gospel concerning Christ from Genesis to Malachi?
-
So we ought to come to a point that when we read Genesis, please have this mindset, the
-
way to go through Genesis to Malachi.
-
Let your eyes be there where you will see Christ.
-
You will see Christ written in the words.
-
That is why in the cell meeting, you see, let me encourage us now, do as much as possible
-
to join the cell meeting.
-
If you're on this platform and you have not been attending the cell meeting, you are spinning.
-
You know what I said?
-
You are what?
-
You are spinning.
-
You are depriving yourself of spiritual growth.
-
Attend the cell meeting.
-
Attend the cell meeting.
-
Attend the cell meeting.
-
We have treated the gospel in numbers.
-
We have treated gospel in the autonomy.
-
So me, when I read numbers, I don't see Jesus there.
-
When I read, so the last time I read the autonomy, I didn't see Jesus.
-
But then sister, if you continue the pattern of the life you're living, you will not see
-
Jesus even in Matthew.
-
You won't see Jesus there.
-
So you have to be part of the local church.
-
You have to be part of the meetings where you are taught and trained in the word of
-
righteousness.
-
That is how we mature.
-
Then we learn to exercise these spiritual things.
-
And I'll say on Sunday, there are background stories to the scriptures because it's one
-
message.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Revelation cannot be removed from John.
-
1 John, 2 John, 3 John, same author.
-
I want to understand the book of Revelation.
-
The background story I should read all through is 1 John.
-
I want to understand the background story of what the apostles have written.
-
Let me go to Acts.
-
I want to understand the book of Acts, the eyewitness account.
-
Let me go to Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, eyewitness account.
-
Amen.
-
I want to understand Matthew, Mark, Luke, John.
-
I go to Genesis to where?
-
To Malachi.
-
Same story, same, let me use the words, same actor, same person, same man, Jesus Christ.
-
The generations of Christ.
-
How Christ was raised from, let's go to Matthew chapter 1.
Matthew 1 chapter mention
-
The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David.
-
You see, it is the son of Joseph on the earth, as it were.
-
The son of David is a prophetic statement.
-
Hallelujah.
-
The son of David, the son of Abraham, prophetic statement.
-
Where are we getting this prophetic statement?
-
See now, let's now go, because it is very important for us that we are able to read
-
the book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.
-
So how did this statement come from?
-
When we now go to Genesis chapter 12, right?
Genesis 12 chapter mention
-
Now Genesis chapter 12, now the Lord said unto Abraham, get thee out of thy country
Genesis 12 chapter mention
-
and from thy kindred and from thy father's house unto a land that I will not show thee.
-
And I will make of thee a great nation.
-
Jesus wasn't speaking about Isaac here.
-
He wasn't speaking about, the God wasn't speaking to Abraham about Isaac.
-
He wasn't speaking about Abraham about Ishmael.
-
He was speaking about Jesus.
-
This is where the promise came from, this is where Christ was traced from.
-
He said, and thou shalt be a blessing and I will bless them that bless thee and cause
-
him that cause thee.
-
Everybody now pay attention to this statement now.
-
And in thee shall all the families awake of the earth be blessed.
-
Hallelujah.
-
This statement wasn't a biological statement.
-
The last time I checked myself, I asked my dad in my fourth year, I think fourth year
-
or third year, first semester, we're treating a topic, one of the courses, anthropology,
-
right?
-
We're studying anthropology.
-
So anthropology and genetics.
-
So in anthropology, what happens is that, you know, it's a study of generations, right?
-
So we'll go back to study generations and genetics.
-
And then we want to see how diseases are transferred from one generation to other, how patterns,
-
how lots of things are happening.
-
What actually is on the lining within your genes and how they are being transferred,
-
traced?
-
The last time I checked biologically, I wasn't traced to Abraham because I asked my dad to
-
give me the names of his fathers and great grandfathers.
-
He gave me that tree and I didn't see how I was traced to Abraham.
-
So does that mean that my family is not captured in these old families of the earth?
-
Because what God said to Abraham is all the families of the earth.
-
I'm like, please help me, please.
-
Let's use English now.
-
When we say all the families of the earth will be blessed because of one man, what does
-
it mean?
-
English.
-
Somebody should help me now.
-
When we say all the families of the earth, okay, let me say it now.
-
Let me make it so that probably when I say all the members of NECF will be blessed because
-
of custom with $10,000 each.
-
What do I mean?
-
Come on guys, I added $10,000.
-
At least you can relate with that one.
-
Because they are from custom, okay, number one.
-
Yes, let's talk.
-
Because they are from custom, okay, yes.
-
It means because of you are all entitled to $10,000 each.
-
Because of me, everybody is entitled to $10,000 each.
-
For which means that whether you like it or not, you cannot escape these $10,000.
-
Yes, as a result, everybody go to your chat and see what the assets everybody is dropping.
-
We received the $10,000 because of your use.
-
There is no exception.
-
Thank you, Samuel.
-
Everyone must benefit.
-
Pastor Vito said I will come and collect it too.
-
Can you imagine?
-
So which means nobody can escape it.
-
For today, Takunda is from Zimbabwe.
-
He is not an Israelite.
-
Sorry.
-
Does it mean that the Scrinters have not been fulfilled about him?
-
No.
-
So God will have not been speaking in English terms.
-
God will have not been giving Abraham these words as it were literally.
-
He was giving a spiritual communication to Abraham.
-
And that spiritual communication was about Christ.
-
The true Christ, every man will be blessed.
-
We are going to come to it because we are going to come to this scripture.
-
Amen.
-
So I needed to say we came all this way because I needed to read for us scriptures concerning
-
Christ.
-
When you now continue reading Matthew chapter 1 and down, you will see how Christ was raised
Matthew 1 chapter mention
-
till present day.
-
Where he now came, right?
-
Sorry.
-
He fleshed like John chapter 1 will say.
John 1 chapter mention
-
And he became flesh and dwelt where?
-
And dwelt amongst men.
-
So you can see from Genesis all through.
-
It was about Jesus.
-
Hallelujah.
-
It was about Christ.
-
But I saw wars.
-
I saw this.
-
You know if you are reading the old books, I will call them old books now, right?
-
And then you see some dangerous things.
-
I said these people were very dangerous.
-
They were killing and blood was everywhere like normal.
-
They saw blood.
-
They saw killings that were beyond your human imagination.
-
But in all those activities and in all those events, the scripture never changed.
-
The message never changed.
-
It's about who?
-
It's about Christ.
-
Hallelujah.
-
So now before we get into the next part, then where we now read 2 Timothy chapter 3 verse
-
16.
-
Let's start this place like Easter day.
-
1 Timothy chapter 3, all scripture.
1 Timothy 3 chapter mention
-
Hallelujah.
-
Now when we say all scripture, it's speaking by what?
-
By inspiration of God and his word and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for
-
correction, for instruction in righteousness.
-
The man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto how many good works?
-
All good works.
-
All scripture is for the benefit of the believer.
-
Genesis to Malachi, Matthew to Revelation is for the profitability of the believer.
-
In fact after Sunday service, one of the things that came to my mind is that, and I'll say
-
it now, is that you have to run away from living your life from social media.
-
Don't live from Instagram.
-
Don't live your life from TikTok.
-
Don't live your life from Snapchat.
-
Live your life from God's word.
-
Insist.
-
Insist.
-
Insist that I will live my life from God's word.
-
Don't live your life from just catchy phrases online.
-
Don't attach the Holy Spirit.
-
Don't attach the meaning of your life from the things you see on social media.
-
Please attach the meaning of your life from God's word.
-
Let the source of your inspiration, the source of your conduct, the source of your saints,
-
the source of your utterances, the source of everything, let it fresh be sourced from
-
where?
-
From God's word.
-
I am not saying that when you go on social media, you will not see things that are valuable.
-
Pastor Cotty, Pastor Cotty now, I'll say no more.
-
Social media is a sin.
-
In the next thing you'll see, hashtag Pastor Cotty, a pastor from a local assembly in,
-
I'm just telling you how news is, declares that all Christians living their lives from
-
this disease are sinned as.
-
If you want to be totally honest, then let it come, let it come from where?
-
From God's word.
-
In fact, let me add one word.
-
You want to be polished from God's word.
-
I was speaking with somebody and the person is saying that, Saido, I came from a background
-
where there has been fight in my home.
-
My father was beating my mom and my mom was beating my dad.
-
I grew up to see a lot of fights, fights everywhere.
-
Where was the norm in my family?
-
And then see, I had to loud it.
-
I had to loud it.
-
You don't have any dysfunction in your life.
-
Brother, you don't have dysfunction.
-
Brother, you don't have dysfunction.
-
Brother, you don't have dysfunction.
-
There is no dysfunction in your life.
-
You have the Holy Ghost inside you and you are living your life from God's word.
-
You are separated.
-
I have to take all Corinthians 5.17 because you are in Christ.
-
All things are become new.
-
That thing that you already are freed of called generational causes.
-
Generational causes are pile of, just pile of, pile of, of unbelieving actions from our
-
forefathers.
-
Believing attitudes, negative behaviors, negative patterns or conduct pile up and they become
-
curses.
-
So when you come, you are a believer and you don't embrace God's words and you make a choice
-
to live and to subscribe to that kind of behavior and conduct, you will see that kind of stem
-
results.
-
But you see, in Christ, when we say you are the blessed and all things are become new,
-
all we are declaring is that you don't subscribe to the conduct again of what you have seen
-
by the outflesh.
-
You are subscribing to God's word.
-
You are subscribing because you understand that the Holy Ghost dwells in you.
-
So we live our life from God's word.
-
If God says it, I believe it.
-
I live by it.
-
Is it?
-
So guys have to live by the scriptures.
-
They are post-ruthed by the scriptures.
-
Every man that has walked by with God throughout in the scriptures from Genesis, Moses, all
-
through to Malachi, by the scriptures, the word of God.
-
How does faith come?
-
Faith come by what?
-
By hearing.
-
Hearing how?
-
Hearing the word of who?
-
The word of Christ.
-
So by the scriptures.
-
Profitability by the scriptures.
-
Doctrine by the scriptures.
-
Reprove by the scriptures.
-
Correction by the scriptures.
-
Instruction in righteousness by the what?
-
By the scriptures.
-
We cannot over-exercise this.
-
Somebody told me, he said, sir, just last week, he said, sir, you know, I've been attending
-
some couple of meetings and then people have been giving me word of prophecy, word of knowledge,
-
word of this.
-
But you know, for the first time I am learning to live from God's word.
-
What God is saying that I don't literally have to chase prophecy.
-
I don't literally have to chase that my faith source, faith, my faith source of information
-
about who I am must be first.
-
From where?
-
From the scriptures.
-
That is it.
-
So now, let me say all this.
-
Verse 18 now, Matthew 28 verse 18.
-
Matthew 28 verse what?
-
You know, yesterday I counted how many people were about 112 on the new version and I counted
-
the people that read were about like 16 or 17 and that number has been consistent.
-
16, 17, 18, 16, 17, 18, 19, 16, 17, 18, 19.
-
Same people, same faces, same name.
-
How will you be profitable?
-
Should I tell you?
-
I told a couple of people that how you will know reading the Bible is spiritual, right?
-
Just say today I want to read today's canonical.
-
From nowhere a weight of sleep will come upon you.
-
You were active, you were active now.
-
Just say I want to read today.
-
I want to see I am telling you, practice, practice this thing I'm saying.
-
From nowhere a weight of sleep, a weight of laziness will come upon you.
-
Aida is saying it's true.
-
Please if you have experience that indicates let's see you and we'll take your name on
-
the new version whether you are.
-
Thank you Aida.
-
Let me say it.
-
Your sins are forgiven.
-
However, Aida is reading it because I saw her name ticked.
-
I've been seeing her name ticked so she's following.
-
But I'm telling you.
-
So just know that reading the scriptures is not a physical feat.
-
I am telling you by the Spirit of God it is heavily a spiritual activity and that is why
-
even if it's one chapter you will find it difficult to read that one chapter.
-
And you see with what I just said now because it's spiritual and not physical that is the
-
most more reason why you must insist in reading it.
-
You must refuse anything that will stop you from reading it.
-
See I am telling you you must fight it.
-
You must tick it.
-
If you will if you if it needs you will take water inside bucket.
-
Carry water.
-
Put it put your legs inside.
-
If you have to kneel down kneel down.
-
If you have to be walking around in your room walk around your room.
-
In fact if you have to go out of your house inside this cold and be reading it go out
-
and be reading it you must insist you must feed it profitability.
-
You know what Paul called Timothy that your profitability will appear unto all men.
-
So it cannot be hidden.
-
You can give your life to the scriptures and your life will be what will be a hidden.
-
So now Matthew 28 verse 18.
-
Jesus came and spoke unto them saying all power in me is given unto me in heaven and
-
where and in earth.
-
Hallelujah.
-
So the first thing we are looking at from that verse is all power.
-
All power.
-
So the verse says all authority all power all authority the verse has been given to
-
me.
-
And we understand how did Jesus got that power from from resurrection.
-
Hallelujah from resurrection from resurrection how from the word authority in this fashion
-
or in this verse the word authority means exeusia exeusia exeusia the Greek word for
-
authority or all power there in your Bible is exeusia exousia exousia.
-
So when you read in another place right there are different or varied forms of the Greek
-
word for all authority or all power.
-
There are about nine varied Greek words used for it because when you read in another place
-
you will see that word is dunamis.
-
However in their varied forms they still speak of close meaning close close meanings and
-
tied to close events.
-
However they will vary in the context of where they are being used.
-
So in some places you will see dunamis.
-
Right.
-
For example let's go to Luke chapter four everybody.
-
Luke chapter four verse fourteen.
-
Luke chapter four verse fourteen.
-
And Jesus returned in the dunamis of the spirit into Galilee.
-
That power there is dunamis and there went out a fame of him through all the region round
-
was round the pound.
-
Right you can add this script to Matthew six thirteen.
-
Matthew chapter six verse thirteen.
-
We'll read it.
-
Let's just read it.
-
Matthew chapter six verse thirteen.
-
And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil for dying for dying is the kingdom
-
and the power dunamis and the glory forever.
-
And what forever.
-
So there are other words Greek words for dunamis.
-
Right.
-
And the other word is just a key.
-
You know.
-
Did I.
-
Crap.
-
Right.
-
It's just a key.
-
It's just I.
-
S.

-
Lay L. E. I. T. O. S.
-
Then energy.
-
Energy.

-
E. N. E. R. T. I. E. A.
-
Then we have Kratos.
-
K. R. A. T. O. S.
-
So all these words will be used within the context of the scriptures where we read them
-
depending on the communication.
-
But the word exucia that is used now in Matthew chapter 38 verse 18.
-
Right.
-
That says all power or all authority has been given to me.
-
The meaning of that word is to be lawful.
-
To be lawful.
-
To be permitted.
-
To be lawful.
-
To be permitted to do something.
-
To be permitted to act.
-
To be permitted to function.
-
Now what exucia is a verb is an action word where we say all power or authority in heaven
-
and in earth has been given to me.
-
What Christ is saying is that I have been given the legal permission to act.
-
Now what exucia means to be lawful.
-
To be permitted.
-
Is as much as I have been given the power of influence to be lawful, to be permitted
-
so that I can be able to act.
-
So that I can be able to do something.
-
So that I can be able to function.
-
So when Christ was saying all power, all authority in heaven and the earth has been given to
-
me.
-
So what Christ is saying is that I have now been permitted to act.
-
I have now been permitted to function.
-
I have now been permitted to influence.
-
Matthew chapter 12 verse 2.
-
Matthew chapter 12 verse 2.
-
Let's read a couple of scriptures now and then let's see.
-
Same word, that word exucia is said that is applied to these scriptures.
-
But when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto him, Behold, that disciples do that which
-
is not lawful to do upon the what?
-
Upon the Sabbath day.
-
Is the same thing.
-
Because the word exucia is from the root word isesti.
-
Exesti.
-
Exesti.
-
The word exucia is from the root word isesti.
-
Exesti.
-
Which means it is lawful.
-
Exesti.
-
Exesti.
-
Which means it is lawful.
-
So what they were saying is that your disciples are doing what is not lawful on the Sabbath
-
day.
-
In Luke chapter 10 verse 19.
-
Luke chapter 10 verse 19.
-
Behold I give you power.
-
I give you isesti.
-
I permit you.
-
I give you the power of influence.
-
Luke chapter 10 verse 19.
-
I am permitting you to tread upon serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the
-
enemy and nothing shall by enemies hurt you.
-
There are two powers there.
-
There is exucia and there is dunamis.
-
But what that statement is saying, I have permitted you.
-
I have granted unto you the power of influence.
-
You can now act.
-
You can now be able to function against the power, all the power of the enemy.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Then at this Matthew chapter 12 verse 4.
-
Matthew chapter 12 verse 4.
-
Matthew chapter 12 verse 4.
-
And when he sawed, when he sawed some seeds fell by, sorry, Matthew chapter 12 verse 4.
-
How he entered into the house of God and did eat the shortbread which was not what, lovable
-
for him to eat.
-
Permission.
-
Hallelujah.
-
So when we see exucia, exucia means lovable.
-
You are now permitted.
-
Hallelujah.
-
You are now granted the power to be able to act, to be able to function.
-
So who gave Jesus this authority and where did Jesus get the authority from?
-
We established Jesus got his power from resurrection, from his resurrection.
-
So we can say like this, right?
-
That the resurrection of Jesus is the permission for Jesus to act.
-
Do you hear what I said?
-
The resurrection of Jesus is what, is the permission for him to act so that Jesus is
-
able or was able to fulfill all that was required for him to be able to act.
-
The legal authority was given to him upon resurrection.
-
Glory to God.
-
The legal authority was given to Christ upon what?
-
Upon resurrection.
-
The exucia was given to Christ upon what?
-
Upon resurrection.
-
Matthew chapter 16.
Matthew 16 chapter mention

Matthew chapter 16.
Matthew 16 chapter mention

Matthew chapter 16.
Matthew 16 chapter mention

Matthew chapter 16.
Matthew 16 chapter mention

Matthew chapter 16.
Matthew 16 chapter mention
-
But starting to 16 everybody.
-
And don't forget brethren that Christ was speaking after in that chapter of Matthew
-
28, he was speaking after he was raised from the dead.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Resurrection.
-
So his communications were from resurrection.
-
Oh, I just got something now in my head.
-
Oh, believers.
-
Our communication must be from the resurrection of Christ.
-
Our oppression must be from the resurrection of Christ.
-
Casting out devils, laying hands on the sick until we see them get healed.
-
Laying hands on the blind eyes and we see them open.
-
Laying eyes if only you will believe the power upon resurrection is that same power that's
-
at work in the life of the believer today.
-
Hallelujah.
-
That is it.
-
Matthew chapter 16.
Matthew 16 chapter mention
-
Matthew chapter 16.
Matthew 16 chapter mention
-
Matthew chapter 16.
Matthew 16 chapter mention
-
Now, from starting when Jesus came into the coast of Caesarea, Dest cease.
-
He asked his disciples to say, sorry, I don't miss it.
-
Okay.
-
Right?
-
Yes.
-
So, but starting then when Jesus came into coast of Caesarea, Philip.
-
by, he asked his disciples, saying, whom do men say that I the Son of Man am? Hallelujah.
-
So you see, Jesus knows that men will say otherwise. Only men that have understanding
-
of the Scriptures can be able to say correctly who truly He is. So now, 14, and they said,
-
some say that thou art John the Baptist. You know why they are saying this now? Because
-
their understanding has not been what? Has not been opened. Hallelujah. So they will
-
say, some say that John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah, or one of the
-
prophets. Amen. Because the eyes of the understanding has not been what? Has not been opened. Has
-
not been enlightened. So they will see the eyes. So they are calling Jesus a prophetic
-
office. They are calling Jesus some sort of a miraculous man, because they knew Elijah
-
did some miracles. They are calling Jesus John the Baptist, because they know John the
-
Baptist was kind of sort of a teacher. And also, he was sort of a prophet also in their
-
time. So they will say that to Jesus also. But 15 now, he now said unto them, but to
-
whom? You. Whom? You. Whom say ye that I am? In this short time that you'll be with me,
-
Whom say ye that I am? 16 now. And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ.
-
Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. Praise God. 17. And Jesus answered and
-
said unto him, Bless thou Simon Bar-Jona, for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto
-
thee. But my Father, who is in heaven, verse 18 now, and I say also unto thee, that thou
-
art Peter, upon this rock, which rock? Upon the revelation of what he has said, that thou
-
art the Christ. Upon Christ's resurrection, upon this rock, on my resurrection, we're
-
going to come to it now. I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against
-
it. Hallelujah. The gates of hell is not prevailing against the purging of the church. The gates
-
of hell shall not prevail against the resurrection of Christ. Hallelujah. There's nothing. The
-
gates of hell cannot be able to stop Christ from being raised from the dead. And out of
-
that resurrection, the church will also come. Hallelujah. And then now verse 19 now. See
-
verse 19 everybody. And I will give unto thee the what? The keys of the kingdom of heaven,
-
and whatsoever thou shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven. And whatsoever thou shall
-
lose on the earth shall be loosed in what? Shall be loosed in heaven. Hallelujah. But
-
he said thou art, verse 16 now, thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. Praise
-
God. Through the scriptures, which we are going to read briefly before we go, the Israelites
-
believed, they believed, some are still holding to that thought still today, that the Messiah
-
will be sent by God to be able to deliver them, right? That God will send a Messiah.
-
And they believe also that this Messiah will come from David, he will come from flesh,
-
and he will come from God. Amen? You hear what I said? Because they know the prophecy given
-
to Abraham. So they believe that there will be a Messiah, and he will be the Son of the living God,
-
and he will also be from the root of David. So they hold that thought. So they believe that he
-
is one that will come to be able to restore the kingdom again to them. He will be the one that
-
will come and empower the Israelites. How to be the one everybody now. Let's just repeat Luke.
-
I hope you will just read Luke and then hold that thought there. I will continue from there. Let's
-
communication. Luke chapter 24, verse 17. And he said unto them, What manner of communications
-
are these that ye have one to another as ye walk and as start? And the one of them whose name was
-
Cleopas, answering said unto him, Adou only a stranger in Jerusalem, and has not known the
-
things which are come to pass there in these days. 19. And he said unto them, What is this?
-
And they said unto him, Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, who was a prophet, mighty indeed,
-
and word before God and all the people. See 20. And how the chief priests and our rulers delivered
-
him to be condemned to death and have crucified him. See chapter 21 everybody now. See chapter 21.
-
But we trusted that it had been he. Oh, I could just see that disappointment. Oh, and now he
-
could not come back. But we trusted that it had been he which should have what redeemed Israel.
-
And beside all this, today is the third day. Since these things were what? Were done. So they
-
believed that a Messiah was going. You see they say we trusted. Probably we have missed it again.
-
We have to wait now for another Messiah. How did they know? Why will they trust? Why will they know
-
that a Messiah was to come to redeem Israel? They knew it through the prophecies, through
-
communication that were passed to them from their forefathers. So they are looking at when we read
-
even John chapter one, right, they had to meet John the Baptist and then met John the Baptist
-
and asked him, Are you that prophet? Are you the one that shall come? Or we should look ahead.
-
They are trusting. In Acts chapter one, everybody. And then we pray now. Acts chapter one. See Acts
-
chapter one. See their communications. Even after still interacting with Christ, they are
-
interacting with Christ. Acts chapter one. Acts chapter one verse six. When they therefore were
-
come together, they asked of him and saying, Lord, will thou at this time restore again the what?
-
The kingdom to Israel? These men are just concerned that something must come. You know,
-
it is all about, you know, let that Redeemer appear. Let that Messiah appear. So they believe that a
-
Messiah will come and that Messiah will be sent from God and that Messiah will be from the root
-
of what? Of David. Hallelujah. So the word, the Son of the Living God, please write this and then
-
we stop. The word, the Son of the Living God. That word, the Son, is a thou at Christ, the Son
-
of the Living God. We're going to stay on that word when we're coming the next time by God's grace.
-
The word, the Son of the Living God means the one who takes on the Father's authority.
-
Please pay attention to this teaching. You know, the topic is blessed in the kingdom of God.
-
The word, the Son of the Living God means the one who takes on the Father's authority.
-
The one who takes on the Father's authority, just like inheritance. So they believed, the Jews
-
believed that when he comes as a Messiah, he will carry out the responsibilities of God over Israel.
-
But Jesus didn't come to carry out responsibilities of God over Israel. He came to carry out the
-
responsibilities of God over all the families of the earth. Hallelujah. Praise God. So when we come
-
by God's grace, we'll be built from this place. Then see how God is going to bring so much knowledge
-
to us. You know, today when you say, I am the Son of the Living God, do you know what you're saying?
-
You say, I'm taking, I have taken upon myself the responsibilities of God on the earth. Like Mark
Mark 16 chapter mention
-
chapter 16 says, in my name, they shall cast out devils. In my name, they shall speak with
-
words, new thoughts. In Romans chapter 8 verse 14, he says, as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
-
What the scripture is saying is that we are the ones that have taken on the responsibilities of God
-
on the earth. We are the ones through us that God is able to influence the families of the earth.
-
We are the ones through whom the Holy Ghost dwells and light will shine in dark places and in dark
-
hearts of men. Hallelujah. Can we just bless God everybody? Can we just bless God? Can we just bless
-
God? Can we just bless God? We just started building. We are just building. Well, can you just bless God?
-
Oh, thank you Father. Be thou glorified. Be thou exalted. Thank you Lord.
-
Thank you Holy Ghost for your dwelling house. Hallelujah. Thank you Holy Ghost for your opening
-
eyes. Thank you Lord for revelation. We bless you Lord. Be thou glorified. Be thou exalted.
-
For in Jesus name we pray. Amen. Praise God. Praise God. We appreciate you being here today.
