  1. Welcome to NECF sermons.

  2. Each message here is designed to uplift and strengthen you in your walk with God.

  3. Don't miss out, stay with us until the end for our rewarding experience.

  4. Let's dive right in.

  5. That you might proclaim the virtues, that's the word praise is there, the virtues of Him.

  6. What are His virtues and what He did on the cross?

  7. What are those things we will proclaim?

  8. And those things He accomplished on Calvary.

  9. That you might proclaim the praises of Him, of Him, of Him.

  10. Who did what?

  11. He said, who called you out of darkness into His own marvelous light?

  12. He said, you are His own special people.

  13. He said, you are a chosen generation.

  14. He said, you are a royal priesthood.

  15. He said, you are a holy, holy nation.

  16. How have you seen yourself?

  17. He said, you are holy, holy, holy.

  18. He said, holy nations, holy nation, His own special.

  19. You know, some people said, we have come to the world to accompany others.

  20. It's an error in the mouth of a believer.

  21. He said, His own special.

  22. You know, in the military that's what we call special forces.

  23. Are we together?

  24. It's for special purpose.

  25. Are we together?

  26. He says, His own special people, special people.

  27. Into someone you have looked down upon yourself.

  28. I'm talking to someone.

  29. You have not seen yourself in the light of what God has made of you.

  30. You have not seen yourself in that light of Him who has called you out of darkness.

  31. You are still as if you are living in the darkness.

  32. He said, He has called you out of darkness into His own marvelous light.

  33. Into His own marvelous light.

  34. Into His marvelous light.

  35. About that you are a male.

  36. You are the firstborn of your family.

  37. Sometimes we emphasize, please help me with this.

  38. Help me with this.

  39. We have talked about the issue of those who are firstborn are the special ones.

  40. We even have prayer time for them.

  41. Those who are firstborn sometimes suffer.

  42. Sometimes they say they have a problem.

  43. If you are firstborn you have to come here.

  44. We have to pray for you.

  45. No, you don't have a problem.

  46. Whether you are last in between or below, if there's anything like that.

  47. He said, you are among His special people.

  48. Are we together?

  49. Hallelujah.

  50. He didn't say you are a man or you are a woman.

  51. He said you are among His special people.

  52. There is no identity.

  53. Listen, this identity is not gender based.

  54. And that's what we're going to continue on.

  55. Years back I started a message, a series on what I titled issues around women's liberty.

  56. Issues around women's liberty.

  57. And we discussed some few things because we have had a lot of challenges in the church.

  58. We are still as if in the wall.

  59. We still judge ourselves by the physical.

  60. But our identity is in Christ, is not in our physical appearance.

  61. Paul said we no longer consider, see any man after the flesh.

  62. He said before we also saw Christ in that light, 2 Corinthians 5.16.

  63. And that's why 17 came and said therefore.

  64. That means there is something he said before that.

  65. If any man, that man is not male.

  66. Tell your neighbor that man is not male.

  67. That is the man in Christ.

  68. And it is you.

  69. He said if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation.

  70. Give me that 16 again.

  71. He said therefore from now on we regard no man according to the flesh, mean by physical,

  72. by worldly point of view.

  73. He said even though we have known Christ according to the flesh.

  74. Right now, that's before we used to see Christ as one who is an Israelite.

  75. But Peter identified him correctly.

  76. He said who do men say that I am?

  77. Peter said you are the Christ, the son of the living God.

  78. And Jesus turned and said Peter, he said flesh and blood did not reveal this.

  79. The revelation of God, the revelation of Christ is a gift to humanity.

  80. The revelation of Christ is what God gives.

  81. It's not what you receive by experience.

  82. It's not what you receive by watching, by seeing, by testing.

  83. That's why you can see your identity based on flesh.

  84. Where you're coming from.

  85. You'll be in trouble when you continue to look at your physique.

  86. Or I am black.

  87. Or that's why he's treating me racist.

  88. That's why you are bothered about all these words.

  89. Because you are seeing yourself wrongly.

  90. Do you know what I'm saying?

  91. I was teaching, I was telling my medical student and I told them, I said before they deceive

  92. black people, you are not good looking.

  93. And they invented and then create bleaching cream.

  94. And they begin to bleach themselves and brought about Jerry coil and all those kind of relaxers

  95. and all that.

  96. And then because they want to see their distinct coil, after so many times they ate their money,

  97. they deceived them.

  98. And then now they turn to the white.

  99. They say you are not good looking, you need to look chocolate.

  100. And then they begin to invent tanning beds and put them inside and after some time they

  101. begin to develop cancer and all kinds of things.

  102. You see them roaming around beaches, say they are buffing themselves with the sun.

  103. You are buffing yourself.

  104. Do you understand what I'm saying?

  105. All that now they are being deceived.

  106. There are a lot of things that now they are begin to apply because they want to look chocolate.

  107. The black they rejected, now they are receiving it.

  108. You go for those criminals that are chopping your money, you understand?

  109. Deceiving you.

  110. No!

  111. Your identity is not from the outside.

  112. Our identity is defined in Christ.

  113. And so we looked at two things.

  114. I don't know how many parts we had, I lost count with it.

  115. Anyway, the media team would actually help us with that.

  116. What we looked at is it scriptural for a woman to speak in the church?

  117. You know we lived one scripture in the sun that women are not permitted to speak.

  118. You know if you have been in this church we have taught you that you study the Bible contextually

  119. not by words.

  120. Are we together?

  121. That the Bible is not a place, every word.

  122. Listen to me.

  123. Every word in the Bible has its meaning in the context.

  124. You understand?

  125. There is no blanket meaning for words.

  126. If you see wall here it does not mean wall in another place.

  127. If you see flesh here, now I just quoted a scripture now, you understand?

  128. It said not according to flesh.

  129. You understand?

  130. Another place will say now that you are not in the flesh if the Spirit of God dwells in

  131. you.

  132. What is the difference between flesh here and the flesh in Romans chapter 8?

    Romans 8 chapter mention

  133. So there is no blanket meaning of words.

  134. And then we studied that.

  135. Then we went to the next step and asked a question again and we answered it.

  136. That is, is a woman permitted to lead a church or to pastor a church?

  137. Because we also pick a particular verse and now made it a doctrine because we think the

  138. calling of God is a gender based calling.

  139. That is what lack of proper interpretation brings.

  140. How on earth will you manifest the kingdom when you are walking in error?

  141. Not possible.

  142. Today we will begin a journey again.

  143. Hallelujah.

  144. And we want to answer this question and it will be some journey.

  145. And I want you to be patient with me.

  146. And that is, what is God's original plan for creating a woman?

  147. What is God's original plan for creating a woman?

  148. Let's begin from where my sister helped me to reach.

  149. And I think that's a good place to start.

  150. And I am aware that some of us are coming today for the first time and some of you are

  151. just new into the church.

  152. So I want to just do some little things to, because the love of God is inside me.

  153. Hallelujah.

  154. And that's why I want to carry you along.

  155. Amen.

  156. So that when you begin to see us doing some deep things, you understand, you will not

  157. be lost.

  158. Hallelujah.

  159. Amen.

  160. Matthew chapter 22.

    Matthew 22 chapter mention

  161. Matthew 22.

  162. You know, the Bible is wonderful.

  163. And I want to read that again because where she read, you know, to get the Bible, I mean

  164. the message of the Bible, you have to read and read and read.

  165. You understand?

  166. There is no overdose of reading.

  167. Amen.

  168. Can you go to 23?

  169. That's Matthew 22, 23.

  170. The same day the Sadducees who say, I want you to underline that if your Bible was not

  171. borrowed, who say there is no resurrection.

  172. So I want you to underline the identity of the word, the Sadducees.

  173. Who say there is no resurrection?

  174. Came to him and asked him.

  175. Now if you read, I mean some verses before that verses, you will see that the the Pharisees

  176. came to Jesus with another question and they were dismantled.

  177. That same day the Sadducees came and said, okay, let's come to him again.

  178. You know, all of them, the difference between Pharisees is that they believe there is resurrection

  179. and this one do not believe.

  180. Even though they have their own confusion also.

  181. Verse 24, saying, teacher, Moses said that even man dies having no children, his brother

  182. shall marry his wife and raise up offspring for his brother.

  183. Now they are aware with all seven brothers, the first died after he had married and having

  184. no offspring left his wife to his brother.

  185. Verse 26, likewise the second also and the third and even the seventh.

  186. Last of all, the woman died also.

  187. Verse 28, therefore in the resurrection, whose wife of the seven will she be?

  188. For they all had her.

  189. I want you to see that question on 28.

  190. He says what?

  191. He said in the resurrection.

  192. He didn't believe there is resurrection.

  193. Why are you asking that in the resurrection again?

  194. In the resurrection, whose wives of the seven will she be?

  195. For they all had her.

  196. Look at Jesus answered.

  197. Jesus answered and said to them, you are mistaken.

  198. You are what?

  199. Mistaken.

  200. Please don't be looking at me.

  201. When I'm reading Bible, read your Bible.

  202. That's why I will stop these people from, okay, media team, don't put this one.

  203. I want you to read your Bible.

  204. This is a training ground.

  205. We are not asking you to read from here.

  206. Read from your Bible.

  207. If you are boring the Bible for the first time, go and buy your own.

  208. Are we together?

  209. Amen.

  210. I want you to learn to read the Bible.

  211. I'm rereading it.

  212. I would have just moved to the verses, but I'm still reading what my sister have read

  213. because I want you to learn how to read.

  214. It's not true that this generation have a low...

  215. No, I don't believe you are the one.

  216. That's why I'm trying to go by this way.

  217. I believe you have a long...

  218. If there's anything like that.

  219. Long attention span, amen.

  220. Okay, please accept if you want me to call you.

  221. Amen.

  222. I love you so much.

  223. So Jesus answered and said to them, you are mistaken.

  224. Not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.

  225. I want you to know that word, mistaken, in verse 29.

  226. It is the word in Greek, plana o, is P-L-A-N-A-O.

  227. And if you're not writing, actually you are not doing yourself good if you have been in

  228. this church for a long time.

  229. It is plana o, is o plana o.

  230. Just bear with my pronunciation of Greek.

  231. Understand?

  232. It's P-L-A-N-A-O.

  233. It means to lead astray.

  234. It means to lead astray, or to be deceived, to be deceived, or to be led into error.

  235. To be deceived, to be led into error, or to be led astray.

  236. That means there is someone responsible for the deception.

  237. Do you understand what I'm saying?

  238. So how were the Sadducees led astray or mistaken?

  239. Because Jesus said, you are mistaken.

  240. Understand?

  241. Or King James says, you are.

  242. Are we together?

  243. Hallelujah.

  244. How were they?

  245. Jesus said in that verse 29, he said, because they did not know the what?

  246. The scriptures.

  247. They did not know the scriptures.

  248. Know the power of God.

  249. Of course, it's expected that if you don't know the scriptures, how can you know the

  250. power of God?

  251. Paul says in Romans 1, 16, that I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ.

  252. Right?

  253. For it is what?

  254. The power of God unto what? salvation to those who do what?

  255. Who believe first to the Jews and also to what?

  256. To the Gentiles.

  257. Where do you find the gospel?

  258. In the scriptures.

  259. You search the scriptures?

  260. For in them you think you have eternal life.

  261. But they are they that testify of me.

  262. You search the scriptures.

  263. So you find Jesus in where?

  264. The scriptures.

  265. John chapter 5, verse 39.

    John 5:39

  266. That's where you find Jesus.

  267. That's where you find the gospel.

  268. The scriptures points to Jesus.

  269. That's why he said, not knowing the scriptures, know the power of God.

  270. If you don't know the scriptures, how can you have contact with the power of God?

  271. Never.

  272. Hallelujah.

  273. So the Sadducees were led astray.

  274. That means Jesus was saying that the Sadducees were deceived into believing that there is

  275. no resurrection.

  276. So what they were saying in verse 23, because they did not know the scriptures, look at

  277. it.

  278. He said, the same day the Sadducees who say?

  279. That means what they are saying was a product of deception.

  280. That means what they were saying, what they came to conclusion that there is no resurrection,

  281. it means was a product of what?

  282. Deception.

  283. And why were they deceived?

  284. They do not know the what?

  285. The scriptures.

  286. So we can quickly learn, and you have learned it already, that ignorance of the scriptures

  287. can make a people or a person or even a believer a candidate of deception.

  288. Ignorance of the scriptures can make a believer or a person or a people candidate of what?

  289. Deception.

  290. Let me point to you a word from the epistles that says something very close to that.

  291. Are we together?

  292. Ephesians chapter 4.

    Ephesians 4 chapter mention

  293. Ephesians chapter 4.

    Ephesians 4 chapter mention

  294. You remember I told you I love you, so those of us, just follow me.

  295. That's how we come to the understanding of scriptures.

  296. I'm trying to lay foundation on the very important where there is, that's the problem.

  297. In many of the Christian cycle, you know some women are banned and not permitted, you understand,

  298. to be ministers of God.

  299. And I'm showing you the reason why they have come to that.

  300. Because they see the call of God within the lenses of gender instead of the calling of

  301. God within the circumference or within Christ's identity.

  302. Are we together?

  303. Hallelujah.

  304. Are you there?

  305. Look at verse 11.

  306. Ephesians chapter 4, verse 11.

    Ephesians 4:11

  307. Oh, thank you, media team.

  308. Now everybody have to look at his Bible now.

  309. Amen.

  310. Verse 11.

  311. And he himself gave some to be apostles.

  312. Now we have already done a study in this, that what some is not talking about quantity

  313. is the word in Greek ho, H-O, ho.

  314. It actually not referring to quantity at all.

  315. Are we together?

  316. So he's talking about that in the church, God set these offices.

  317. And he said, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors, teachers, verse 12, what for?

  318. He said, for the equipping of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for edifying

  319. of the what?

  320. The body of Christ.

  321. Look at verse 13.

  322. That's the end game.

  323. Till we all come to the unity of faith and of the knowledge of Jesus Christ.

  324. Now the unity of faith here is talking about the doctrine of Christ, the knowledge of Christ.

  325. It's not talking about that every church have to come together, you understand, in one place.

  326. No, no, no, no.

  327. That's not what he's talking about.

  328. He's talking about in the knowledge of Christ.

  329. Till we all, what will bring such a unity of the understanding of Christ is teaching,

  330. equipping.

  331. Are we together?

  332. In our said, the knowledge of the Son of God to a perfect man, to the measure of the status

  333. of, to the measure of the status of the fullness of Christ.

  334. Look at verse 14, that we should no longer.

  335. That's the essence of the knowledge of Christ.

  336. We should no longer be what?

  337. Children, tossed to and fro and carry about with every wind of doctrine.

  338. By what?

  339. By the trickery of men in the cunning craftiness of what?

  340. Deceitful plot.

  341. Again, he's trying to say that when you have knowledge of Christ, you will not be like

  342. a pendulum.

  343. You will not be like a child.

  344. You will not be at the mercy of men, cunning crafty men.

  345. Those who are for your pockets, those who are for your bodies, those who are there for

  346. their sake.

  347. You know what I'm saying?

  348. Are we together?

  349. That is the thing.

  350. So what that means that you will not be led astray to believe something that is not of

  351. God.

  352. You will not be led astray like the Sadducees to believe that there is no resurrection.

  353. They were led astray because they did not know the scriptures nor the power of God.

  354. Hallelujah.

  355. Now go back to that Matthew again.

  356. Go back to that Matthew 22.

  357. Look at verse 30.

  358. Want you to look at verse 30.

  359. For in the resurrection, Jesus continued to actually explain.

  360. Jesus continued.

  361. He said, for in the resurrection, they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like

  362. angels of God in heaven.

  363. Where did you think Jesus got this explanation?

  364. Where did you think Jesus got this explanation he's giving to them?

  365. Look at verse 33.

  366. Just verse 31.

  367. I think that's, let's start from there.

  368. But start one.

  369. But concerning the resurrection of the dead, he said, have you not what?

  370. Oh, talk to me.

  371. Have you not what?

  372. Read what was spoken to you by God saying, I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac,

  373. the God of Jacob.

  374. God is not the living God of the dead, but the what?

  375. God of the living.

  376. Where did Jesus got the information that in the resurrection, there is no marrying and

  377. there's no giving of marriage?

  378. He point them to the scripture because he say you were in error.

  379. You were let astray because you did not know the scripture.

  380. He now said, have you not read?

  381. Have you not read?

  382. Are we together?

  383. In Hebrews 10, the Bible says, no, talking about Jesus, I come in the volume of the books

  384. that is written concerning me.

  385. Are we together?

  386. Jesus in teaching, he did not just was moving like some of us.

  387. If Jesus was, did not walk without the scripture, how can you convince me that you are his follower

  388. and you are walking all around without the Bible?

  389. Because whom the entire scripture is about, but to explain himself, he always point to

  390. scriptures.

  391. He never said anything on his own.

  392. He always points them is to explain.

  393. He will told them.

  394. Remember I called that verse before.

  395. Are we together?

  396. John 5 39, he say, you search the scriptures and in them you think you have eternal life.

  397. He said, but there are day that did what?

  398. That testify of me.

  399. Are we together?

  400. He said, have you not read?

  401. Have you not read?

  402. Look at that word.

  403. Have you not read?

  404. Read where?

  405. The scriptures.

  406. What is he saying?

  407. Is he saying they have never seen the scriptures?

  408. Not at all.

  409. Not at all.

  410. That word read there is not just casual browsing.

  411. And just checking into document as a duty, as a routine.

  412. You just like some of us, we are forcing, as if we are forcing you, you are reading

  413. the Bible in one year.

  414. You just say, and I'll be God, and I'll be God, and I'll be God, and I'll be God, and

  415. be God.

  416. Okay.

  417. No, it's James Begat.

  418. Okay.

  419. You understand?

  420. You are doing as if you are sleeping, and after you finish, today I think Pasekosi will

  421. see the mactique.

  422. No, it's not just casual reading that you're just reading as a duty, as a routine.

  423. No, that's not what he's saying.

  424. And in our cell groups, we have done the first part of the book, and the major thing is what

  425. is that word read?

  426. Now I want to come to some of us who have been there.

  427. I will cut some for us.

  428. What is that word?

  429. I told you, even in this church, you're supposed to know some Greek word because we use them

  430. always by now.

  431. Are we together?

  432. What is that word read in Greek?

  433. Let me see somebody and ask the person.

  434. What I tell is we should know because it's common.

  435. We just finished it last time.

  436. What is that word in Greek?

  437. Anaginosko.

  438. Yes.

  439. Don't worry about the pronunciation.

  440. At least you have said it.

  441. You understand what I'm saying?

  442. Anaginosko.

  443. So he's not talking about casual reading.

  444. Anaginosko is not just talking about casual reading.

  445. No, it's from the two words, ana and ginosko.

  446. Ana means properly.

  447. Ana means that is A-N, A-N-A, that's ana in the sign.

  448. A-N-A.

  449. He's talking about properly, through, every, complete.

  450. That's what it means.

  451. Properly or each or through or every or complete.

  452. That's what ana means.

  453. So when you bring ginosko, G-I-N-O-S-K-O, G-I-N-O-S-K-O, ginosko, which means to know,

  454. to know or to understand.

  455. Meaning, now when you combine them, it means to know through.

  456. Are we together?

  457. Or to know complete or to know every.

  458. Are we together?

  459. Oh, are you with me?

  460. That means any subject you will pick in scriptures, prayer, whatever, before you will say anything,

  461. what should you do?

  462. Oh, talk to me, what should you do?

  463. You read through completely.

  464. So no passage of scripture should be interpreted outside the context of the Bible.

  465. Even if you are reading in Genesis, and that is what we did for some of us that are just

  466. coming newly, that's what we did to answer the question, is it scriptural for a woman

  467. to speak in church or is it forbidden?

  468. Is it also scriptural for a woman to lead a church or forbidden?

  469. We read through from Genesis all on through the epistles to answer that question.

  470. If you stay in one place, you will be in error.

  471. That is not read.

  472. That is not ana ginosko.

  473. That's why Jesus will always ask them this question.

  474. Both the Pharisees and the Sadducees, he will ask them, have you not read Matthew 19, 4?

  475. When they ask him concerning divorce, he asks them, have you not read in the beginning?

  476. Did you understand what I'm saying?

  477. Are we together?

  478. The scribe asks him a question.

  479. He asks them, have you not read?

  480. He's talking about you didn't read through.

  481. You are reading carelessly.

  482. You didn't read everything, not complete, not properly.

  483. And that's what we want you to do.

  484. So in this study, also to understand the, I mean the ghost plan for creating a woman,

  485. we will have to read from Genesis up to epistles.

  486. That's why I say we're going to go a journey.

  487. This is how doctrine is done.

  488. You can't be deceived this way.

  489. We will start from Genesis and start reading and studying up to epistles, connecting all

  490. the scriptures together to come to an understanding.

  491. What is God's original plan of making a woman?

  492. So before we jump on that, let me show you, because when Jesus was asking them, have you

  493. not read, that is his pattern.

  494. So we're not just saying that he's asking, no.

  495. That is what he did.

  496. Are we together?

  497. In discussing scriptures, that's what Christ did.

  498. Look 24.

  499. Look at look 24.

  500. Look 24.

  501. Look at 25.

  502. We have studied that verse again and again, and we will go back again and again until

  503. it enters you and subconsciously anything you are discussing, anything you are finding

  504. and you are reading, you must go through the Bible to see and to come to a full and complete

  505. understanding.

  506. That is how we read the Bible.

  507. Tell your neighbor that's how we read the Bible.

  508. That is how we read the Bible.

  509. We do not read the Bible selectively, but we read the Bible through the entire book.

  510. Amen.

  511. That is how we read the Bible.

  512. Let's learn from Jesus quickly.

  513. Look at verse 25.

  514. So this man were confused, his disciples, because they crucified him because they were

  515. expecting that Jesus came to deliver Israel onto them.

  516. They are thinking of political power while Jesus is talking about the kingdom power.

  517. Are we together?

  518. And then they were confused when Jesus was crucified.

  519. Look at verse 25.

  520. Then he said to them, all foolish ones and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophet

  521. have what?

  522. Have spoken, but not Christ to have suffered these things and to enter his glory.

  523. Now look at what he did.

  524. Verse 27, I'm beginning at Moses and all the prophet, he did what?

  525. He expounded to them in how many scripture?

  526. Oh, talk to me.

  527. In how many scripture?

  528. All the scriptures, the things concerning himself.

  529. Jesus would have just stopped in one verse and said, this is what Isaiah said of me in

  530. the son, unto you a child, a son is given, a child is born and da da da da da da.

  531. Or he just quote one scripture in Isaiah 53, by my strife, you are healed and so on and

  532. just stop there.

  533. No.

  534. He said beginning from what?

  535. From Moses.

  536. That is all the books of Moses, Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and the prophet.

  537. Look at 44.

  538. Look at 44.

  539. Then he said to them, these are the words which I have spoken to you while I was still

  540. with you, that all things must be what?

  541. Fulfilled which were written in the law of Moses, the prophet and what?

  542. The Psalms concerning me.

  543. Now media team put me that picture I gave to you please, you understand?

  544. Now this is what Jesus did.

  545. What we call, because what we call our Old Testament today is the Jewish Tanakh because

  546. in the days of Jesus, that's what he had.

  547. Are we together?

  548. And what we have as a Jewish Tanakh is exactly our Old Testament today.

  549. It's just some differences in the way the books were arranged.

  550. So I just show you this, we have done that before.

  551. I just show you this to just show you how the scriptures were organized differently

  552. in the Jewish Tanakh and that of our own today.

  553. But it's the same.

  554. It's the same.

  555. For example, what we call the minor prophets is just one book.

  556. What we call the minor prophets, all these books, now Hosea, Joel, to Malachi, is one

  557. book, is one.

  558. First and second king is one book.

  559. First and second chronicle is one book.

  560. So if you look at it, while we have 39, they just have about 24.

  561. So what we call the Psalms is not just only the book of Psalms.

  562. When you hear Psalms here, note that in your mind from today.

  563. When you hear Psalms, he said, so that you will not be thinking, ah, so where did the

  564. other ones go?

  565. Since it's all say the prophet and Psalms.

  566. No, it doesn't mean just only Psalms.

  567. Are we together?

  568. They call it the writings.

  569. And you can see all these books are called the writings or the Psalms.

  570. Amen.

  571. So I want you to have that at the back of your mind.

  572. When you read that, don't think that the other part of the books, we don't have them.

  573. No.

  574. Amen.

  575. This is what Jesus did to explain to his disciples, he did what?

  576. He started from Moses and quote that scripture and quote this one and say, this is what this

  577. is talking about me.

  578. He moved to this one.

  579. This is what you're talking about me.

  580. He moved to this one.

  581. This is what he's talking about me.

  582. Da da da da up to the end of it.

  583. And then told them, did you see?

  584. And let me tell you, this is how he taught.

  585. It's not just after he resurrected.

  586. Look at what he told them.

  587. He said, these are the words which I have done what?

  588. That means he has spoken to them before about these things he's saying now.

  589. Are we together?

  590. So Jesus taught Genesis to Malachi to bring an understanding.

  591. And that's what we will do in this study.

  592. That's what we will do.

  593. And I want to just note to you some things, certain things.

  594. Now since that is scriptures, what do we call the gospels and then the epistles?

  595. Because in the days of Jesus, when they say scriptures, even the apostles, when they say

  596. scriptures, they just mean Genesis to Malachi.

  597. We see here there is no, there is no Ephesians here.

  598. Are we together?

  599. There is no book of John here.

  600. So when the Bible says in all the scriptures and he mentioned that that's what he means.

  601. So how did we arrive?

  602. That's just what I will just clarify and then we'll pray.

  603. You understand?

  604. Amen.

  605. So let me clarify the gospels.

  606. Now the gospels, first and foremost, I want you to note something that already scriptures

  607. have told us that all scriptures are inspired of the Holy Spirit.

  608. Second computer, chapter one, verse 20 and 21.

  609. Second computer, chapter one, verse 20 and 21.

  610. That means the Old Testament are authored or are inspired by the Spirit.

  611. Now when Jesus arrived, we saw that Jesus, all his teaching taught from where?

  612. Oh, are you with me?

  613. Taught from where?

  614. He taught from the scripture, Genesis to Malachi.

  615. That means all his life and teaching recorded in the gospels were a teaching or product

  616. of the already the, what we call the Old Testament text.

  617. Look at how Luke put it.

  618. Act chapter one, act chapter one, verse one, act chapter one, verse one.

  619. The former account I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began to both to do and to

  620. do what?

  621. And to teach unto the day in which he was taken up after he through the Holy Spirit

  622. had given commandment to the apostles whom he had chosen.

  623. So Jesus taught, remember what account is he talking about?

  624. Former account is talking about Luke because he's the same writer.

  625. Go to Luke, Luke chapter one, Luke chapter one.

  626. So act chapter one is referring to Luke chapter one.

  627. As many have taken in hand to set in order the narrative of those things which have been

  628. fulfilled among us.

  629. Just as those who from the beginning were eyewitness and ministers of the world delivered

  630. them to us.

  631. It seems good to me also having had perfect understanding of all things from the very

  632. first to write to you an orderly account, most excellent who?

  633. To your fellows.

  634. That you may know the certainty of those things in which you were instructed.

  635. That means what Luke wrote here, he obtained it from eyewitness.

  636. So what did he do, he documented the teaching of Jesus, again, where did Jesus taught from?

  637. The scriptures.

  638. Because Jesus, all the teachings were teachings from scriptures.

  639. That means the entire gospel of the records of Jesus teachings and life, they are also

  640. what?

  641. Scriptures.

  642. Because these are scriptures.

  643. Now I want you to note something.

  644. That means, listen, Jesus is behind the words that the prophet wrote.

  645. Did you understand what I'm saying?

  646. Jesus is the one that inspires the writings of the prophets.

  647. Jesus is the one that also taught the teachings of the gospels.

  648. Are we together?

  649. Now Jesus is also the one behind the writings of the apostles.

  650. Let me show you something.

  651. John chapter 16.

    John 16 chapter mention

  652. John chapter 16.

    John 16 chapter mention

  653. John chapter 16.

    John 16 chapter mention

  654. Look at verse 12.

  655. I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear.

  656. Now stop.

  657. That means after Jesus used the scriptures, the text of the Old Testament, what we call

  658. the Old Testament, we are coming to that because we have been trying to say Old Testament is

  659. not a book.

  660. You understand?

  661. It's not a book.

  662. Actually that division is not inspired.

  663. That is not to discredit the effort of the men of God who did that, that is the publishers.

  664. Are we together?

  665. What is not inspired?

  666. Are we together?

  667. Because Old Testament, New Testament is not a book.

  668. It's not books.

  669. So it's wrong to divide the Bible into what we call Old Testament and New Testament.

  670. Because Jesus taught from where?

  671. How can you call what Jesus used to teach Old Testament?

  672. And if you read through the gospel, you see all quotations of what you call the Old Testament.

  673. That's a contradiction.

  674. When you go to the epistles, it's also all quotation because that was their textbook.

  675. Jesus never called that portion Genesis to Malachi Old Testament because that was what

  676. they were using to preach.

  677. The apostles never call it because that was what they were using to teach.

  678. Are we together?

  679. We shall come to that to explain that more.

  680. But look at what I'm saying here.

  681. That means Jesus taught as we saw in Luke 24, beginning at Moses.

  682. He told them these are the things, verse 44, which I have taught you or have told you,

  683. which means that he has told them a lot of things which have been recorded.

  684. However, he now said at the end of his life before his death.

  685. He said, I have many things to do.

  686. What?

  687. Oh, talk to me.

  688. I have what?

  689. Many things to talk to you.

  690. That means all that we have, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, are not all that Jesus had wanted

  691. to say.

  692. Did you understand what I'm saying?

  693. He had so much to say more, but why did he not say them?

  694. Because they could not bear it.

  695. But look at verse 13.

  696. He said, however, when he, the spirit of truth has come, he will guide you into what?

  697. Into all truth, for he will not speak on his own authority.

  698. For whatsoever he hears, he will speak and he will tell you all things to come.

  699. Now these all things to come, listen to me carefully.

  700. When the spirit of truth is come, that means that which Jesus have not said because of

  701. the limitations of the disciples.

  702. He continued with it when the spirit came.

  703. Did you hear what I'm saying to say?

  704. That means when the spirit came, the apostolic teachings were a continuation of Jesus teachings.

  705. So Jesus was the man behind the Old Testament, what we call the Old Testament, meaning he

  706. inspired Genesis to revelation.

  707. In the gospel, he taught it, but there remain as others that he has not taught.

  708. He said when the spirit come, he will continue.

  709. Now when he said things to come, he will not be referring to something now in the future

  710. because to the disciples before he died is something to come.

  711. So his death, burial, resurrection and ascension are things to come to the disciples.

  712. He said there are things I have not said, but when he comes, he will tell you.

  713. Now when we read all the scriptures and the Bible says Christ in you, where did you see

  714. that in the gospel?

  715. Tell me one verse that say that.

  716. Are we together?

  717. That is the epistles, what Jesus was to explain to them, but you couldn't bear it.

  718. Are we together?

  719. So you could see that the Old, what we call the Old, is actually both there, the New and

  720. the Old is still there.

  721. Genesis to Malachi, the gospels and the epistles were all writings of Jesus.

  722. Did you hear what I'm saying?

  723. They are all writings of Jesus.

  724. He uses the prophets in the path, in the gospel, he taught by himself when he was on earth,

  725. after he resurrected, he taught in the spirit through the apostles.

  726. Are we together?

  727. So that's why today when we say scriptures, it all combines the whole Bible.

  728. Did you understand what I'm trying to say?

  729. Did you understand what I'm trying to say?

  730. So that is why when we say scriptures, we mean the entire text of the Bible now, Genesis

  731. to Revelation, because it is Christ in the Holy Spirit through the apostles that he wrote

  732. those texts.

  733. Are we together?

  734. When we come next, I will further show you those things.

  735. When you hear the apostles talks about the mystery, they are actually talking about the

  736. writings of the prophets that is actually concealed, but now explaining Christ, you

  737. understand?

  738. And through them, we have what we call the New Testament today.

  739. They are all writings of Jesus.

  740. So we will go, don't ever said that the writings of the apostles, they are not the writings

  741. of Jesus.

  742. You are ignorant.

  743. Don't say that.

  744. No, no, no.

  745. I am following Jesus.

  746. I'm not following the apostle.

  747. Okay.

  748. When Jesus came, where did he read from?

  749. He read from what men wrote.

  750. Did you understand what I'm saying?

  751. Because even the one you are saying that I believe in the Old Testament, they are men

  752. that wrote it.

  753. Who inspired them?

  754. The same person who taught in the gospel and the same person who through the apostles

  755. also wrote.

  756. Did you understand what I'm trying to say?

  757. That is how you will see the scriptures.

  758. And that's why we will go through the scriptures to come to the answer of everything, every

  759. subject in the Christendom.

  760. I believe what God is doing in your life.

  761. We believe what God is doing in your life.

  762. And we know that God is working things in your life.

  763. Don't look down on yourself because God is in you.

  764. You must see yourself as he sees you.

  765. Oh my God, he is the one who made you, not just made you, nor that he lives in you.

  766. There is no greater blessing than to have him united with you.

  767. That's the greatest of blessings.

  768. And I want you to see that, that you are holy, that you are called to say the praises of

  769. him who has called you from darkness into his own marvelous light, to tell of his virtues.

  770. That's what that praises means.

  771. To say of his goodness.

  772. That is what it is.

  773. And to preach of his word with confidence, knowing he is the man behind Genesis to Revelation.

  774. He is the one behind the teachings we have in the apostle and he's the one who taught

  775. the gospels.

  776. Let's appreciate him and say thank you Jesus.

  777. What a glory to have revelation of your words.

  778. We appreciate you being here today.
