Hi there. Welcome to NECF. We're excited to share
-
today's message with you. Don't go anywhere.
-
Stay with us till the end for some valuable resources
-
to enrich your faith. Here's today's sermon.
-
Hallelujah. 1 Corinthians chapter 12 from verse
1 Corinthians 12 chapter mention
-
4, everybody. From verse 4, open your Bible,
-
everybody, whether it's hard copy or... We believe
-
in your growth, so very soon you will buy one
-
hard copy. So for now you can use your phone.
-
Now there are diversities of gifts, but what?
-
Let's be echoing it together. Now there are diversities
-
of gifts, but what? Same spirit, verse 5. And
-
there are differences of administrations, but
-
the same Lord. And there are diversities of operations,
-
but it is what? The same God who do what? Who
-
worketh all in all. Seven. But the manifestation
-
of the Spirit is given to every man. To do what?
-
Is it to every woman? Is it to pastors? Is it
-
to only ushers? Is it to only prophets? Is it
-
only to apostles? To how many men? To how many
-
men? Let's echo it. To how many men? All men.
-
Please. If you don't do that, I will close service.
-
So respond. Verse 8. For to one is given by the
-
Spirit the word of wisdom, to another the word
-
of knowledge by the same Spirit, to another faith
-
by, to another gifts of healing by, to another
-
the working of miracles, to another prophecy,
-
to another the signing of Spirit, to another
-
diverse kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation
-
of tongues, but all these worketh that one and
-
selfsame. Spirit dividing to what? To every man
-
severally as what? As he will. Praise God. Hallelujah.
-
Yeah, so now on Wednesday we stopped somewhere.
-
We said, what does it mean to be filled with
-
the Spirit? Amen. What does it mean to be filled
-
with the Spirit? Praise God. And we read Acts
Acts 2 chapter mention
-
chapter 2, everybody. Let's go to Acts chapter
Acts 2 chapter mention
-
2. Acts chapter 2. So if you're with us on Wednesday,
Acts 2 chapter mention
-
you'll remember this. Acts chapter 2 verse 4.
-
So the question we're handling is, what does
-
he mean to be what? What does he mean to be what?
-
Filled with. So in the scriptures, right, there
-
is a reality for the believer that the believer
-
should be filled with what? With the Spirit,
-
with the Holy Ghost. Amen? So where did we get
-
it from? From where? We're going to see it from
-
where? From the scriptures. So which means that
-
if it's in the scriptures, it's also our reality.
-
Amen? Praise God. So let's read it all together.
-
Acts chapter 2 verse 4. And they were all, read
-
now, everybody's with Bible. And they were all
-
filled with the Holy Ghost. Hallelujah. And the
-
Holy Ghost held their tongue and began to speak
-
through them. Is that what your Bible is reading?
-
Is that what your Bible is saying? That the Holy
-
Ghost held their tongue? What is your Bible saying?
-
What happened to them? They were what? They were
-
filled with what? Then who spoke? So which means
-
that they have a choice not to speak, right?
-
I hope you know. They can choose not to speak.
-
Yes or true? So which means they can choose to
-
what? Not to speak. But the scripture says that
-
who began to speak? So upon filling with the
-
Holy Ghost, they began to what? They began to
-
speak with how many tongues? With other tongues
-
as the Spirit gave them what? Other tongues.
-
On Wednesday, I told us that we could read it
-
this way. Amen? And they were all filled with
-
the Holy Ghost and the Holy Ghost gave them other
-
tongues and they began to speak with other tongues.
-
Hallelujah. Do we understand how I just read
-
it now? Okay, everybody, your eyes on the Bible.
-
Let's see how I said. Let's read it now. And
-
they were all filled with the Holy Ghost. As
-
the Holy Ghost gave them utterance, they began
-
to speak with other tongues. Hallelujah. Praise
-
God. So as they continued to speak, there was
-
or there is a source of utterance from what?
-
From the Holy Ghost. So they were not just filled.
-
With the Holy Ghost alone? But as they were filled
-
with the Holy Ghost, utterance also came with
-
the filling. Amen? Did we see it in the Bible?
-
That all they did is to do what? All they did
-
is to do what? Who gave the utterance? The Holy
-
Ghost. Praise God. Praise God. Say, even now.
-
Raise your hand. Say, even now. Even now. Even
-
now. I believe and I know right now. The Holy
-
Ghost is giving me utterance and I'm going to
-
speak in other tongues. Hallelujah. Praise God.
-
I just told you your reality now. Hallelujah.
-
You can be in the school bus and be filled with
-
the Holy Ghost. Because these men were gathered
-
together in a room. They were not in a church.
-
Oh, let me not use the word church. They were
-
not in a building. Hallelujah. Here we are just
-
in sort of one room somewhere and gathered together.
-
Sir, do you mean that so, even in my room I can
-
be filled with the Holy Ghost? Yes, sir. In the
-
school bus, you can be filled with the Spirit.
-
Hallelujah. On the street, you can be filled
-
what? With the Spirit. Oh, as you are playing
-
ball, you are about to score. I think in school
-
I used to play football, yeah. Yes, I always
-
see him. I don't know whether he has repented
-
because I have not seen him in a while. Posts.
-
You know, there are some people here, right?
-
As you are about, you know you are in that ball.
-
You are in that ball. You are chasing one small
-
round thing and you are sweating. You know? You
-
are still mindful of what? Of the Spirit of God.
-
Do you know why? Because you just go and hit
-
somebody's leg small, he will catch your collar.
-
And then, oh, I caught your collar. Sorry, sir.
-
You know? You just catch your collar. And then
-
before you know, you catch my collar. You catch
-
my collar. Bah, bah, bah. And they will see.
-
Pastor, they fight on board. But let me tell
-
you, because you're in that field, and you're
-
not mindless, and not mindless or unconscious,
-
but you're conscious of the Spirit of God inside
-
you, you hit me, you hit me. Ah, the love of
-
God has been shed abroad in your heart, Romans
-
5 .5, by the Holy Ghost that has been given to
-
you. Amen? Oh, you say, I'm sorry now. I'm sorry.
-
You're before you, before salvation. You won't
-
apologize. I told you, you told me. Football,
-
close. Even though we are coming to it, but write
-
this somewhere. The more I am conscious to be
-
filled with the Spirit of God, I will not give
-
or yield myself to the influences of the flesh.
-
The more I am conscious and mindful. To be filled
-
with the Spirit of God, I will not yield myself
-
or give myself to the influences of the flesh
-
or the works of the flesh, right? Works of the
-
flesh. Praise God. So they were in the room and
-
they were filled with what? With the Spirit.
-
Amen? So, probably some of you are just joining
-
this Sunday morning. Let me just read the Scriptures.
-
I read Ephesians chapter 5 verse 16 to 18. Okay,
-
let's read it all together. Ephesians chapter
Ephesians 5 chapter mention
-
5. I'll just give us this because we are coming
-
to some of these scriptures again. Ephesians
-
chapter 5 verse 16, everybody. Let your eyes
-
be on your scriptures. We saw they were filled
-
with the Spirit. And what was the next reaction?
-
What was the next reaction? They spoke, right?
-
Okay, Ephesians chapter 5, everybody. Verse 16.
Ephesians 5 chapter mention
-
Redeeming the time because the days are evil.
-
17. Wherefore, Be not unwise, but understanding
-
what the will of the Lord is. Eighteen. Everybody,
-
read together. We will not know that you are
-
the one being drunk with wine. So everybody,
-
let's chorus it together so that we will not
-
find you out. And be not, and be not, and be
-
not drunk with wine wherein is what? The next
-
line, everybody. But be filled with. The Spirit,
-
19. If your Bible, you see, that's filled with
-
the Spirit, you see a semicolon, a colon, a comma,
-
right? See, 19. What's the next line, 19? Speaking
-
to yourselves in what? Psalms and hymns and spiritual
-
songs, singing and making melody in your heart
-
to who? To the Lord, 20. Giving thanks always
-
for how many things? All things unto God and
-
the Father in the name of what? So in Acts chapter
-
2 verse 4, we saw that they were filled with
-
the Spirit and they what? They spoke. See now,
-
in this verse we see that when you are filled
-
with the Spirit, what and what will you be doing?
-
Let's count it. Number one, you speak to yourselves
-
in what? In psalms and hymns. That is the number
-
one thing that will happen when you are filled
-
with the Spirit, right? Second thing. Singing
-
and what? Making melody where? In your heart
-
where? Next thing that will happen to you, giving
-
thanks how? Murmuring always? Complaining always?
-
Insulting always? What will be happening? Giving
-
thanks always for how many things? But all this
-
is a product of what? The product of what? Being
-
filled with what? With the spirit of who? Uh
-
-huh. You say what? Yes. Ah, 21. Thank you. 21.
-
It didn't stop there, actually. 21. Can we read
-
it all together? One to another in what? So how
-
many things? Let's count them. Speaking to yourselves,
-
number one. Singing and making melody in your
-
heart, number two. Giving thanks always, number
-
three. Submitting what? Yourselves want what?
-
Another in what? All as a product of what? Being
-
filled with what? The Spirit of who? This is
-
class now. Raise your hands, everybody. I believe.
-
I believe. And I know that I'm always and I will
-
always be filled with the Spirit of God. And
-
I'll always speak to my brothers in psalms and
-
hymns and spiritual songs. Oh, I will sing and
-
make melody. In my heart unto the Lord, I will
-
give thanks always for all things unto God. I
-
will submit always to my brothers and sisters
-
in the fear of the Lord. Hallelujah. This is
-
what it means to be filled with what? With the
-
Spirit of God. Praise God. I've just answered
-
some questions now in our hearts. Amen? Okay.
-
So write this as extra scriptures because we
-
are not coming to it because we're going to come
-
into it. On Wednesday, a couple of people, I
-
know some of us were not there. So let me repeat
-
the scriptures because we've read a good number
-
of them on Wednesday. Acts chapter 19, verse
-
6. You could write it down. Acts 19, 6. Luke
-
1, 41. Luke 1, 41. You realize that all these
-
people, when they were filled with the Holy Ghost,
-
they began to what? They speak. Some of them
-
prophesied. Amen. Good. Acts 1, 67. And Luke
-
1, 67. Sorry. Luke 1 .67. Luke 4 .1. Luke 4 .1.
-
Acts 2 .4. Acts 2 .4. Acts 4 .8. Acts 4 .8. Acts
-
4 .30 -31. Acts 4 .30 -31. Acts 9 .16 -17. Acts
-
9 .16 -17. Acts 7 .55. You see, most of the scriptures
-
we are reading is all in Acts, right? Acts chapter
-
7 verse 55. Acts chapter 13 verse 52. Acts chapter
-
13 verse 52. Acts chapter 13 verse 9. And then
-
Acts chapter 6 verse 3. Hallelujah. Praise God.
-
And we establish a truth on Wednesday that to
-
be filled with the Spirit of God means to allow
-
for the demonstration or the manifestation of
-
the gifts of the Holy Ghost. Hallelujah. We saw
-
in Acts chapter 2 verse 4 that The Holy Ghost
-
gave them what? The Holy Ghost gave them utterance,
-
right? Good. So we say being filled with the
-
Spirit means to allow for the demonstration or
-
the manifestation of the gifts of the Holy Ghost.
-
So we can say again that being filled with the
-
Spirit of God means the manifestation of the
-
Spirit from within. The manifestation of the
-
Spirit from where? From within. You're not writing.
-
Are you recording it on your phone? You're not
-
writing. You've been looking at me. Even collect
-
pen. Take pen. I have pen. I dash you. Don't
-
worry. It's not a success pen. It's a normal
-
pen. Give a paper or something. So this is how,
-
when I talk, I look at everybody's eyes. I want
-
to see what is inside. So I want to see everybody
-
is active. Put the recording. Okay. You listen
-
to it after service and write and snap it and
-
send me what you have written. Amen. Hallelujah.
-
People that are being filled with the spirit
-
of God, they pay attention during services. Hallelujah.
-
Yes. Not you guys. The previous guys we used
-
to have that come here. During service, you see
-
them playing computer game. There was one guy
-
there. He was playing computer game. Candy Crush.
-
Let me say something jokingly. If you play Candy
-
Crush, your life will be crushed. That was a
-
joke. Praise God. Sir, this Pastor Koston, you
-
like play? Of course. You just finished hearing
-
now that we are going to be singing melody. You
-
know, only my wife can marry me. I said, my wife,
-
she's serious. She's carrying a serious face.
-
Yes, that is it. That's the Spirit of God. You
-
see, that thing that you have had somewhere that
-
they say, because you are filled with the Spirit
-
of God. Bless you, brother. They didn't teach
-
you well about the Spirit of God. I said it here
-
someday. Here. That even people in the office,
-
they say, anytime we come and meet you, where
-
we live, there is this energy. We just leave
-
your office, sir. We live with energy. It's not
-
energy. It's the Spirit of... It's called the
-
joy of the Holy Ghost. Many a times, some of
-
you will come and say, you put all your problems
-
on us and say it. You don't know our problem
-
is more than yours. But we come here, the Lord
-
is good. He is faithful. Hallelujah. Glory. You
-
say, these pastors, they're enjoying, you know.
-
We're going to see it. You see, when you're filled
-
with the Spirit of God, It defies every kind
-
of difficult situations you are inside. Oh, you
-
only see those situations the way Jesus sees
-
them. So we said, that time means manifestation
-
of the Spirit from where? From within. Hallelujah.
-
Write this, that the feeling of the Spirit or
-
the feeling with the Spirit of God is not a one
-
-time experience. Hallelujah. It's not a what?
-
It's not a one -time. This is the most beautiful
-
part now. Write this. The feeling with the Spirit
-
of God is for ministry. Hallelujah. It's for
-
what? It's for ministry. It's for ministry. Hallelujah.
-
When we say be filled with the Spirit, we mean,
-
I'm going to use this term, actively stir up
-
the gifts of the Spirit which is within you.
-
Do what? Actively what? Stare up. You can replace
-
that word actively with consciously stare up.
-
Add another word. Mindfully stare up the what?
-
The gifts of the Holy Ghost. That is where? That
-
is within you. So, for example, as the Holy Ghost,
-
you know that the Spirit of God dwells in you.
-
As he gives you utterance, you actively do what?
-
You actively do what? You speak. You consciously
-
what? Speak! Hallelujah! On a Sunday morning
-
like this, and then you just arrive to church.
-
I know a large number of us are students here,
-
so I'm going to give a student's kind of example.
-
And then you arrive to church, you're trusting
-
the Lord. Most of the things that most of you
-
trust is finances for tuition fees. So that's
-
why I'm going to use that example. It's not an
-
insult or something. Well, you're trusting the
-
Lord for finances, for tuition fees, and then
-
you arrive Sunday morning to church, and then...
-
The Spirit of the Lord, let... I just had now
-
in my heart, right? I perceive now in my heart
-
for somebody here. Learn to listen to the voice
-
of the Holy Ghost much more when He directs you
-
to the needs of your brothers. Pay attention
-
because He will be showing you... Physical needs.
-
For some of them is their shirts. For some of
-
them is trousers. For some of them is shoes.
-
For some of them is as basic as food to eat.
-
They don't have. Pay attention to the leading
-
of the Holy Spirit when he speaks to your heart
-
to meet the what? To meet the needs. Praise God.
-
Hallelujah. Because as I perceive more as I speak
-
now, right? He's going to be increasing that
-
leading much more in your heart. Every time you
-
come around, fellow, brethren. He will be ensuring
-
that your eyes are pointed to look out for the
-
needs of the brethren that you're part of. Amen.
-
Please pay attention. Praise God. So back to
-
my example. So now it's a word for somebody.
-
You're here. He has been putting it in your heart
-
to reach out to meet the needs of people. Amen.
-
Don't ignore it. Hallelujah. It happened to me
-
sometime when I was in the university. I set
-
out in my heart that I was going to be, I would
-
start paying people's tuition fees and transport
-
fare. Okay. Okay. Let me not say it. So transport
-
fare. Amen. Hallelujah. Before I would see applicants.
-
Soteria Bank and Customs Bank and all the banks,
-
they are not yet dead. They are still, what do
-
you call it, sir? There are no banks. They can
-
only cater for only two people, a husband and
-
wife. And it happens that the central executive
-
officer and then the chief operations officer,
-
they are only the people handling the system
-
now. Amen? So now, this is what happens now.
-
You arrive, okay, I set out that I was going
-
to be doing that. But every time I get into,
-
and you know, our church is somewhere and our
-
school, he knows our school is somewhere. We
-
are close to PZ. It's a long drive. So anytime
-
I enter the bus, I will hear, I will see people
-
that cannot pay this thing. But they've carried
-
that initiative, having faith that when they
-
get into bus, somebody will... You people, you
-
are abroad. You don't exercise faith. I am in
-
Nigeria. People live by... I know what I'm saying.
-
So I will enter, sir. I will know somebody who's...
-
You see? Please, can you just pay? I know church
-
brethren, they will reduce their voice. Please,
-
can you just pay my fares too? Somewhere I say,
-
sorry, bro. You know, I'm not able to have sufficient.
-
I lie, number one. Oh, I lied. Another time I
-
will enter. I'll say, just ask. Or randomly pay
-
people's fare inside the bus. I will be struggling
-
with it. Until one day I got into that bus. Bro,
-
I can't pull. He didn't think about it. And I
-
realized, you know, from that day, I knew that
-
he has been doing it. When we just enter, before
-
everybody put hand inside pockets, you just talk
-
to the conductor for everybody. I want to say,
-
plus me. I said, no, no, no, no. You see, this
-
thing there. In fact, let me show you my book.
-
He told me, I even wrote it. See, he told me
-
that I should start taking initiatives and then
-
be conscious to pay some people's fare. Okay,
-
what we'll do, we'll start sharing it. You see,
-
from that day, because we attended a good church,
-
And in that church, they taught us giving, giving,
-
giving. However, they went a little bit extreme.
-
They told us to carry one dollar and put inside
-
our purse and be calling dollar every morning.
-
That church, we call money, I used to share it
-
with them. In that church, you hear us, they
-
say it's time to call for money. Money, money,
-
money. Money, in dollars, in pounds, in euros,
-
from different locations, in truckloads, come
-
to me now in the name of Jesus. You know, I saw
-
the picture of the place some weeks or some months
-
ago. Some of them are still there. And I have
-
some privilege to have some information about
-
some of them. They are still struggling so much.
-
They love the Lord. They are believers, tongue
-
-talking. They are doing a lot of exploits. Hear
-
this. If you don't take initiative on your finances,
-
you're going to be a poor, tongue -tucking, filled
-
with the spirit of God believer. I mean legal.
-
Don't go and do Yahoo. Don't do Yahoo. Don't
-
sell your body. Don't give anything. There are
-
legal ways to have finances. You may not be on
-
Forbes list, but you will not beg for bread.
-
You may not be on top list, but you will not
-
be around walking naked. Do you hear what I said?
-
Be hard working. If you can't use your brain,
-
use your hands. That's a word for somebody. So
-
take initiative. I got here because I was saying,
-
take initiative. Be conscious. As the Spirit
-
of God leads you to solve people's needs, right?
-
Do it. Hallelujah. Praise God. You understand
-
because we are reading some scriptures about
-
that. Okay, that's why the Holy Ghost even led
-
me here. Amen? Say, I'm filled with the Spirit
-
of God. So being filled with the Spirit of God
-
is a function of your choice. Say, it's a function
-
of my choice. Being filled with the Spirit of
-
God is a function of my choice. Yes, it's a function
-
of your choice. Yes, it's a function of what?
-
We saw it in Acts chapter 2 verse 4. They were
-
filled with the Spirit of God. The Spirit of
-
God gave them ultras and they made a choice to
-
do what? To speak. Amen? Acts chapter 4 verse
-
8. Acts chapter 4 verse 8. It's a function of
-
your choice. It's a function of your choice.
-
Acts chapter 4 verse 8. Very fast. Then Peter
-
4 verse 8. Then Peter, everybody, filled with
-
what? With the Holy Ghost. And he what? He was
-
filled with the Holy Ghost. What's the next thing
-
he did? He what? He said to them. He spoke. You
-
guys are not fast in opening your Bible. It shows
-
that you don't read your Bible at home. Yes.
-
Acts is not after Malachi. You know, I sat down
-
beside somebody in this church. I won't show
-
the location. They said, let's open to Acts.
-
A full grown woman. She went to the front content
-
and check for the number of the page. And check
-
Acts. Acts. Acts. Page 941. Somebody say Jesus.
-
It's true. 900. But she's not coming to church
-
now. She opened to 941 and said she found Acts.
-
Exploit. At the back. I asked exploit. Open to
-
Zechariah. She opened it. Open to Zephaniah.
-
She opened to Haggai. She opened it. Exploit.
-
I'm not saying today, oh, she's more wiser now.
-
It was last year. I said, oh. But even at this
-
age, okay, we're in Sunday school trying to do
-
Sunday school competition. Bible open. She could
-
not. It just shows that you're not reading your
-
Bible. People that are filled with the Spirit
-
of God are always close to God's Word. You know
-
what I said? They are always close to what? Yes.
-
Say today. And always, I will always be close
-
to my Bible. I will open it and I will read it
-
and I will study it. Somebody say he's attacking
-
me. I attack you. If you fail to attack men,
-
I will attack you again. You can't be in this
-
church and be opening to page, page, contento,
-
content, sir. I will tell you, I will tell you
-
people, the lady. Yes, I will. This is what we
-
do. We label over your soul. Definitely we can't
-
leave this job. You have to leave this church.
-
That's just it. Because we know in every church
-
there are stubborn people. They never leave.
-
They're in every church. No matter how tongue
-
speaking and spirit filled the churches is or
-
the churches are, you'll find one stubborn person
-
there. He's always everywhere. And the pastors
-
are patient with them. We'll be patient with
-
you. Amen? Why is he talking like that? Yeah,
-
because I have to talk to you. Acts chapter 6
-
verse 3. See what the scripture says. Wherefore
-
brethren, look ye out among you. How many men?
-
Look ye among you. How many men? In any CF, look
-
ye out among you. How many men? Seven men of
-
what? Honest report. So which means these men
-
must be known within the brethren. Right? When
-
we say honest men, what do we mean? When we say
-
honest men, what do we mean? It means that these
-
people are known everywhere. Their life is not
-
hidden. They know them among the multitudes.
-
In fact, the scripture says that they grew from
-
120 to 3 ,000, 3 ,000 to 5 ,000, from 5 ,000
-
to multitude. Multitude, which means we could
-
not what? We cannot count them. But among the
-
number that they cannot count them, they still
-
know that there are people that are what? Having
-
honest what? Report. Question to you. Can we
-
say you have a honest report? One. Two. These
-
men should be what? Full of what? The Holy Ghost
-
and whom we may appoint over what? So which means
-
that these people being filled with the Spirit
-
of God, they were not hidden. Probably, I just
-
imagine now because they chose Stephen, verse
-
5. They chose Stephen. They chose Philip. They
-
chose Prochorus. They chose Nicanon. They chose
-
Timon. They chose Parmenas. They chose what?
-
Nicholas. I just imagine now among them, right?
-
That they just saw Stephen one of these days,
-
you know, giving a word of prophecy, you know,
-
and then going around because it shows, because
-
in the next verse he did that. They know that
-
Stephen was not only full of faith and full of
-
the Holy Ghost, he was just one of those evenings
-
you see in one corner. And his character and
-
conduct within the multitude was always commendable.
-
Oh, they see Parmenas and Timon. You know, they
-
are just moving. They say, I think today we need
-
to go to, let's go to Gilne for evangelizing.
-
Because we saw Philip. Philip did that in Acts
Acts 8 chapter mention
-
chapter 8. Him alone. Nobody pushed them. Nobody
-
told them to go and do it. They left on their
-
own choice. And they took a city. Hallelujah.
-
Oh, a man filled with the Spirit of God is limitless.
-
What you will do for Jesus is limitless. The
-
power of God through you is limitless. Let me
-
say that it's coming to my heart. A man that
-
is filled with the Spirit of God can take a city.
-
Don't underestimate yourself. Don't despise your
-
youth. So it's your choice. For the responsibility
-
to be stirred and flow in the things of the Spirit
-
is in the hands of the believer. Hallelujah.
-
The responsibility to be stirred up and to flow
-
in the things of the Spirit is where? It's in
-
the hands of who? The believer. It's in your
-
hands. Hallelujah. The choice is yours. The Holy
-
Ghost is in you and all the gifts of the Holy
-
Ghost is also where? In you. Praise God. See,
-
the Holy Ghost is in me. And all the gifts of
-
the Holy Ghost is also in me. Hallelujah. Write
-
this title somewhere. All believers have all
-
the gifts of the Spirit and shall manifest and
-
demonstrate them all. All believers have all
-
the gifts of the Holy Ghost. and should manifest
-
and demonstrate all of them. All believers have
-
all the gifts of the Holy Ghost and should manifest
-
and demonstrate all of them. Why should they
-
manifest? And why should they demonstrate it
-
like this? To profit everyone. Hallelujah. To
-
do what? To profit what? Everyone. Why should
-
you speak? To profit what? Everyone. Why should
-
you prophesy? To do what? Profit what? Everyone.
-
Why should you lay hands on the sick so that
-
the sick will get healed? To do what? To profit
-
everyone. Oh, say it. I am a huge benefit to
-
the body of Christ. I am a huge benefit. Oh,
-
to my brothers and sisters. Say, I only bring
-
benefit to everyone I need. Hallelujah. Yes.
-
The word manifestation, right? It is. In Greek,
-
what is phanerosis? The word manifestation is
-
phanerosis. P -H -A -N -E -R -O -S -I -S. Phanerosis.
-
The word manifestation means what? Phanerosis.
-
Phanerosis. P -H -A -N -E -R -O -S -I -S. S -I
-
-S. S -I -S. P -H -A -N -E -R -O -S -I -S. It
-
means to make bear. To reveal plainly. To not
-
to hide. Not to hide. It means to make bare.
-
To reveal plainly. Not to what? Not to what?
-
Not to hide. Hallelujah. Manifestation. So which
-
means that I have the Spirit of God. All the
-
things of the Spirit are where? Are in me. All
-
the gifts of the Holy Ghost are where? Are in
-
me. But I need to do what? Manifest them. When
-
we say we are making things bare, it means that
-
the two natural, plain, physical eyes can do
-
what? Can see them. The five senses can perceive
-
them. Write it down. When I manifest the gifts
-
of the Holy Ghost, the five senses can be able
-
to perceive it. Hallelujah. Praise God. That
-
word, phanerosis, was gotten from a root word,
-
faneru. And faneru means to make visible what
-
has been hidden, whether by words or deeds, in
-
any other way. Hallelujah. Faneru means what?
-
To make visible what has been hidden, whether
-
by words or deeds, in any other way. To meet
-
the eyes. Faneru. To meet the eyes. To shine,
-
to display. When we read that 1 Corinthians 12,
-
verse 7, everybody. 1 Corinthians 12, verse 7.
-
1 Corinthians 12, verse 7. 1 Corinthians 12,
-
verse 7. See what the scripture says there, everybody.
-
But the what? 1 Corinthians 12, verse 7. But
-
the manifestation of what? Is given to how many
-
men? To do what? To profit what? So which means
-
that no believer is supposed to stay hidden when
-
it comes to the things of the Spirit. Hallelujah.
-
No believer is what? Is supposed to stay what?
-
Hidden. The more you hide the gifts of the Holy
-
Ghost. You are not bringing profits to the body.
-
The more you hide the things of the spirit, you
-
are not becoming beneficial or you are not being
-
beneficial to your brother. So what is my position
-
as a believer that is filled with the spirit
-
of God? That I do what? I manifest. Hallelujah.
-
Say I manifest. Daily I manifest. I manifest
-
what? All the things of the spirit that are where?
-
That are locked up from where? Within me. Praise
-
God. Hallelujah. Verse 11. Verse 11 says, That
-
word there is Hekastos. Hekastos means to each
-
one. Hekastos. H -E -K -A -S -T -O -S. Hekastos.
-
To each man, to every man, and that what every
-
man, whether woman or what? Or man. Hallelujah.
-
Hekastos. H -E -K -A -S -T -O -S. But he say
-
he divides to every man severally. As he what?
-
As he will. That as he will is not the will of
-
the Holy Ghost. Now is the will of the man that
-
has received. Hallelujah. Now, let's read it
-
carefully this way. Everybody, can we read together?
-
Verse 11. Hallelujah. As what? As He will. Who
-
is the receiver? The believer is the receiver.
-
Amen? Who act on his will to manifest it? Who
-
act on his will? The believer acts where? On
-
his will. To do what? To manifest it. Write this
-
somewhere. That word, as he will. Write it somewhere.
-
He divides severally to every man as he will,
-
based on purpose or needs. Hallelujah. Based
-
on what? Purpose or what? Or need. As he will.
-
That word is bulamai. It means based on the desire
-
of the receiver. Praise God. So which means that
-
based on my desire, I can prophesy. Based on
-
my desire, I can give word of prophecy. I can
-
give word of wisdom. I can give word of knowledge.
-
When you go home, you can take as he will. So
-
you are the receiver. John chapter 6 verse 11.
-
And we'll stop here. You will see it there. John
-
chapter 6 verse 11. And Jesus took the loaves.
-
And when he had given thanks, he distributed
-
to the disciples. They received it, right? And
-
the disciples, to them that were set down, right?
-
And likewise of the fishes, as much as what?
-
As much as what? As they would. So the disciples
-
are the ones that have received it. And they
-
are the ones that will do what? Act on their
-
will to share it out. Matthew 11, 27. You will
-
see that same word there. So you are the one
-
that would will. Say, I have the will. I have
-
the will. I act on my will to manifest all the
-
gifts of the Holy Ghost. Matthew 11, 27. All
-
things are delivered unto me of my Father, and
-
no man knoweth the Son, but the Father. Neither
-
knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and
-
he to whomsoever the Son will. Do what? Reveal
-
him. Praise God. Acts 5 .28 Oh, be so conscious
-
that when you get to places, act on your will,
-
act on your will, act on your will, that every
-
manifestation, every gift of the Holy Ghost in
-
you must be made bare. Acts 5 .28, see what happened.
-
Saying, did not we straightly command you that
-
what? That ye should not teach in what? In this
-
name. And behold, what happened? Ye have filled
-
Jerusalem, what? With your doctrine. And what?
-
That same will is the same with intention. And
-
ye intend to bring this man's blood, where? Upon
-
us. Make deliberate intention. Hallelujah. Make
-
deliberate intention. Oh, make deliberate what?
-
Intention. Make what? Deliberate what? Intention.
-
Never have a day. Even if you are chatting with
-
people, you can prophesy to them. Praise God.
-
Lastly, now Acts 12 .4. Oh, beautiful. Acts 12
-
.4. And when he had apprehended him, he put him
-
in what? In prison and delivered him to what?
-
Four quaternions of soldiers to keep him. Can
-
you say another word? Do you what? Intending.
-
Willing that after Easter. To bring him forth
-
to what? To the people. Praise God. Hallelujah.
-
Hallelujah. The diversities of all the gifts
-
of the Holy Ghost are in us. Amen? Praise God.
-
All the operations are based on your decision.
-
Praise God. Hallelujah. See, I make decision.
-
I make daily decision to manifest the gifts of
-
the Holy Ghost. Praise God. Yeah, so we're going
-
to come to... The next place where we said to
-
walk in love when it comes to the gifts of the
-
Holy Ghost. Write it somewhere. That's the next
-
thing we'll look at. Walking in love when it
-
comes to the gifts of what? The Holy Ghost or
-
the things of the Holy Ghost. And we'll give
-
some points there. And have a great time manifesting
-
and seeing the demonstration of the things of
-
the Spirit. Can we rise to our feet? Thank you
