Good. So from where we stopped today, I just
-
wanted to make some things clear, just to add
-
more to clarification before we take on. From
-
the last place that we stopped on Sunday, we
-
had a topic that says all believers have all
-
the gifts of the Spirit and should manifest and
-
do what? Demonstrate. Hallelujah. And why should
-
they manifest? Why should they demonstrate? So
-
that they will do what they will profit of. Hallelujah.
-
Yes, so let's read 1 Corinthians chapter 12.
1 Corinthians 12 chapter mention
-
1 Corinthians chapter 12. Verse 1. 1 Corinthians
1 Corinthians 12 chapter mention 1 Corinthians 12:1
-
chapter 12, verse 1. We'll start reading from
-
verse 1 to 11. He said, now concerning spiritual
-
gifts, brethren, I will not have you ignorant.
-
Ye know that ye were Gentiles carried away unto
-
these dumb idols, as even as ye were led. Wherefore,
-
I give you to understand that no man speaking
-
by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus a curse, and
-
that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but
-
by what? By the Holy Ghost. This is salvation
-
now. Now there are diversities of gifts, but
-
the same Spirit. There are differences of administration,
-
but the same Lord. And there are diversities
-
of operations, but it is the same God who would
-
work it all in all. But the manifestation, that's
-
verse 7 now. You know, on Sunday, we established
-
that verse 7. That word manifestation is what?
-
Can somebody help me? The word manifestation
-
is what? You can type it. Or you can switch on
-
your mic. Let's hear you. That word manifestation
-
is what? To reveal clearly. In Greek what? That
-
word manifestation is what? And it means what?
-
Phanerosis. Yes, phanerosis. Phanerosis. It means
-
what? What does it mean? To reveal. Hallelujah.
-
To make bare. Nothing to hide. Plainly visible.
-
Because that word phanerosis was obtained from
-
the word phanero. And the word phanero to make
-
visible what has been hidden. Whether by words
-
or deeds. Amen. In any other way. The word Phanerosis
-
was gotten from the word Phaneru, which means
-
what? To make visible. When we say you are making
-
something visible, which means that what you
-
want to do is that you want a thing to meet the
-
eyes. You want the eyes to see it. You want the
-
five senses to be able to perceive it. You want
-
the five senses to be able to interact with that
-
which you are making visible. So now verse seven,
-
he says, but the plain revealing of the spirit,
-
or we can say, or the visible, can you see? Or,
-
but that which has been hidden, Has been revealed.
-
Of the spirit. And is given to every man to do
-
what? To profit all. And when you get your BLB.
-
If you have your BLB. Because we are doing a
-
study. When you go to your BLB. Everybody go
-
to your BLB. If you have it. You realize that.
-
You know the translators. did a good job to be
-
able to write 1 Corinthians 7 for us, chapter
-
12, verse 11, right? But now, they shifted some
-
things because in the original context, right?
-
Because on Sunday, I said something that I need
-
to bring attention to it, right? And what is
-
it? He said, dividing to what? To every man severally
-
at what? As he will. And I told us that that
-
word he will is not the spirit or rather the
-
receiver, the man. Somebody was, you know, probably
-
maybe asked the question, but how will you say
-
that? Because my Bible is saying as he will.
-
English language says it's the spirit that is
-
willing. If you read it that way, it means that.
-
The Holy Spirit has a choice to give you or not
-
to give you. But that is not how that place is.
-
So when you go to the original rendition, if
-
you have your BLB, let's read it together. Right?
-
You will realize in your BLB, it says that dividing
-
separately to how many men? To every man as he
-
will. Did you open that place, Victory? Did you
-
see something like that in your BLB? When you
-
open your BLB, you see dividing severally to
-
every man. Not dividing to every man severally
-
as he will. Dividing severally to every man as
-
the man will. Yes, thank you, Takunda. So, that
-
word, that word, he will, it means, it means
-
based on the desire of the man. So, I make, based
-
on my desire to prophesy, based on my desire
-
to give a word of knowledge, based on my desire
-
to give a word of wisdom, based on my desire,
-
right? To give a tongue an interpretation of
-
tongue. Based on my desire. Or based on purpose.
-
Or based on need. That word. That is as he will.
-
But you see there is something unique here. It
-
says dividing severally. You know. When you use
-
the word. When you use the English word. Severally.
-
It means what? Somebody should help me. When
-
you use the English word severally, it means
-
what? When I say I am giving you money or I am
-
giving you my property or I am giving you several
-
properties, what do I mean? Oh, class, you should
-
help me, my brothers and sisters. When I say
-
I am giving you properties severally, you can
-
type it, please. Okay, miracle says different.
-
Somebody is saying individual. Tapunda says more
-
than two. English word says more than two. Many,
-
easy, a lot. If I say I am dividing, let's go
-
back to 1 Corinthians now. We're going to do
-
it now. So I want to clear something to us. When
-
I say verse 11, everybody. When I say I am dividing
-
to every man severally, as he will. That word
-
severally, if you are going to use English dictionary,
-
it means many. But when I use the word, I am
-
dividing this property, right? To several of
-
you. I now mean what? To what? To each of you.
-
But when I say I'm dividing severally, it's different
-
from I am dividing this property to several of
-
you. Do we understand? So when you go by the
-
way of King James Version or New King James Version
-
or the version you're using, you're going to
-
get that verse wrongly. Because in the original
-
context, now when you check your PLB, your PLB
-
says that dividing severally to every man. That
-
word severally, when you check the original word,
-
it means idios or ideals. Ideals means privately.
-
Ideals means one's own. Ideals means belonging
-
to oneself. So what that scripture is saying
-
is that, but all this, that one and the self
-
-same spirit dividing privately to every man
-
at the wheel. Hallelujah. Dividing what is the
-
Holy Ghost to every man. So that which is the
-
Holy Ghost, what is that which is the Holy Ghost?
-
The prophecy, prophecy, right? Gift of prophecy
-
is the Holy Ghost. Amen? What again can we see?
-
Word of wisdom is the Holy Ghost. Right? Word
-
of knowledge is the Holy Ghost. Gift of faith
-
is the Holy Ghost. Gift of healing is the Holy
-
Ghost. Working of miracles is the Holy Ghost.
-
Designing of spirits is the Holy Ghost. Diverse
-
kinds of tongues is the Holy Ghost. interpretation
-
of songs is what is the holy ghost nine of them
-
so what the scripture is saying that the holy
-
ghost is taking what is his own and giving it
-
to the believer hallelujah so the holy ghost
-
dwells in the believer so which means that that
-
which is the holy ghost is the believers also
-
can you see it do we understand Please, if you're
-
with me, you should indicate. Do we understand?
-
That which is the Holy Ghost has now belongs
-
to who? It's now belonging to you. Praise God.
-
Gift of prophecy. The Holy Ghost has taken what
-
is His and divided to the believer and giving
-
it to the believer. That was severally does not
-
mean that He's dividing each. No, no, no. He's
-
saying that that which is the Holy Ghost is given
-
to every believer. gift of prophecy, word of
-
knowledge, word of wisdom, the gift of faith,
-
healing, walking of miracles, tongues, interpretation
-
of tongues, gift of faith. The Holy Ghost is
-
taking that which it is and giving to the believer.
-
So the believer has the gift of prophecy. The
-
believer has the gift of word of wisdom. Word
-
of knowledge. That is why when we start reading
-
from verse 8, he said, for to one is given by
-
the Spirit, Holy Ghost. Then the word of wisdom
-
to another, word of knowledge by the same Spirit.
-
So the Holy Ghost is the one that ensures that
-
all his gifts are given to the believer. When
-
you check that word, It means one's own. It's
-
not your English words. It means belonging to
-
oneself. It means privately owned. So that which
-
is privately owned of the Holy Ghost is now with
-
the believers. Hallelujah. How do I know it's
-
the believer's own? Because the Holy Ghost dwells
-
in the believer. Praise God. When we now read
-
Matthew chapter 9 verse 1. I will just read two
-
scriptures for us. And then you can go home.
-
And then do some personal study on that. Matthew
-
chapter 9 verse 1. And he entered into a ship
-
and passed over. And came to what? To his ideal
-
city. Hallelujah. He came to his own city. Praise
-
God. Belonging to his own. Matthew 25, 14. Matthew
-
25, 14. See what the scripture says. For the
-
kingdom of heaven is as a man traveling into
-
a far country who calls his own servants. Amen.
-
His own. He calls his ideal servants. And deliver
-
unto them his goods. Praise God. So the Holy
-
Ghost dwells in the believer. But the Holy Ghost
-
has given the believer. Oh, thank you, Holy Ghost.
-
The Holy Ghost has given the believer all of
-
the things that he sees. Hallelujah. I have the
-
prophetic. I have word of wisdom. I have. word
-
of knowledge. I have the gift of healing. I have
-
the gift of miracles. I have the gift of tongues.
-
I have the gift of interpretation of tongues.
-
I have the gift of prophecy. How did I get it?
-
The Holy Ghost gave me. Praise God. You see why?
-
You see why? It's your will. It's now left on
-
your will. When you read it, he said, he divides
-
severally to every man as the man wills. Now
-
you have them. The Holy Ghost is now on your
-
own terms to operate them. Praise God. So now
-
you have to act on your will to do what? To operate
-
them. You have to make up your mind. On your
-
own choice. To do what? To operate them. On your
-
own will. On your own. When there is a purpose
-
for it. When there is a need for it. The receiver
-
is the one. That makes the choice. To operate.
-
Hallelujah. That place. 1 Corinthians chapter
1 Corinthians 12 chapter mention
-
12. See again. Let's go there. We are going to
-
stay there. or some things. 1 Corinthians 12
-
verse 6. It says, And there are diversities of
-
what? Oppressions. These diversities of oppressions
-
can only be by the will of the believer. So,
-
stir up your mind. Stir up your will. Stir it
-
up. Stir it up. stayed up stayed up for there
-
inside you is the prophetic i'm giving a word
-
now somebody for there inside you is the prophetic
-
but they're lying inside you is the word of is
-
the word of wisdom but there inside you is the
-
word of knowledge but there inside is the gift
-
of feeling for there is that is the walking of
-
miracles but there inside you is the deal of
-
faith hallelujah for there inside you lying his
-
bones and interpretation of thoughts act on your
-
will dear believer and operate them all. The
-
Holy Ghost has taken that which is his and has
-
given it to you. Praise God. He has given us
-
all. He has given us all. He has given us all.
-
He has given us all. When it comes to manifesting
-
the things of the Spirit, the Spirit has taken
-
all of it and has given it to the believer. Hallelujah.
-
You have Everything that is the Holy Ghost. You
-
have it. You have it. You have it. You have it.
-
I'll repeat myself again. You have it. All that
-
is the Holy Ghost. You have it. Praise God. That
-
was several ideals. Don't forget. The Holy Ghost
-
has already willed it and has given it to you.
-
Amen. He has given it to you. They are all in
-
us. So make a decision today to prophesy. Make
-
a decision today to manifest. Make a decision
-
to make visible a prophetic word. Make a decision
-
today to make visible a word of wisdom. Make
-
a decision today to make visible a word of knowledge.
-
It's in you, dear believer. Why? Because when
-
you do that, you are bringing benefit. Praise
-
God. That word, to profit all, or to profit with
-
all, it means sumfero. Profit with all. It means
-
what? Sumfero. S -U -M -P -H -E -R -O. Sumfero.
-
Sumfero. Sumfero means To benefit others. To
-
contribute to others. To bear together with others.
-
To bring advantage to others. Be better towards
-
others. Tumfero means what? To bring benefit
-
to others. Do you see? The Holy Ghost has given
-
you the prophetic in order to bring benefit to
-
others. The Holy Ghost has given you word of
-
wisdom to fanerosis towards others. The Holy
-
Ghost has given you word of knowledge to Tumfero
-
towards others. You see the reason why the believer
-
must always manifest the things of the spirit
-
because all the things of the spirit has been
-
given to the believer in my name you shall cast
-
out devils in my name you shall lay hands on
-
the sick and the sick will get healed in my name
-
you shall speak new tongues can you see It's
-
not the Holy Spirit that will come and lay his
-
hands there. It's not the Holy Ghost that will
-
come and speak the tongues. It's not the Holy
-
Ghost that will come and cast out the devils.
-
You are the one that will cast the devils out
-
because all the gift is in you and you shall
-
receive power after that the Holy Ghost is what?
-
It's come upon you. So everything is yours in
-
Christ Jesus. Hallelujah. The posture that God
-
has put the believer in is the posture of benefit.
-
Every day the believer ought to benefit other
-
brethren. Every day the believer must bring benefit.
-
Bring benefit. Bring benefit to your sisters.
-
Bring benefit to your brother. Bring benefit
-
to your local church. Bring benefit to your pastors.
-
Bring benefit to your husband. Bring benefit
-
to your wife. Bring benefit to your children.
-
All the things of the Holy Ghost are yours. Hallelujah.
-
Bring benefit. Acts chapter 20, verse 20. Let's
-
see that word. Benefit. Acts 20, 20. And how
-
I kept back nothing that was profitable unto
-
you. But have done what? I have shown you and
-
have taught you publicly. And from house to house.
-
I kept nothing. I kept nothing. This is Paul
-
speaking. I kept nothing that is profitable unto
-
you. All that the Holy Ghost has given you. Is
-
profitable to the local church. Don't keep it.
-
Don't hold it. Release it. Operate in them all.
-
1 Corinthians chapter 10 verse 33. Even as I
-
please all men in all things, not seeking my
-
own profit, but the profit of many. Hallelujah.
-
Seek the profit of your brother. Seek the profit
-
of your sister. Seek the profit of your local
-
church. Seek the profit of believers around you.
-
The gifts of the Holy Ghost are yours. Why should
-
I do that? I told us on Sunday to write something
-
down. Walk in love. Hallelujah. Walk in love.
-
Walk in love. Why? Because you cannot bring benefits
-
to the local church if you don't make a choice
-
to walk in love. You see? The God kind of love
-
is a profiting kind of love. The God kind of
-
love is a beneficial kind of love. The God kind
-
of love makes the other better. The God kind
-
of love tears up the other. The God kind of love
-
is the love that ensures that the other keeps
-
growing. Everywhere, we're going to see it. Everywhere
-
you see the scripture talks about love, you will
-
see sacrifice. You will see benefits. I'm going
-
to read two, three scriptures and then I'll leave
-
off here. 1 Corinthians chapter 13. 1 Corinthians
1 Corinthians 13 chapter mention 1 Corinthians 13 chapter mention
-
chapter 13. When it comes to the operation of
-
the things of the spirit, manifesting the things
-
of the spirit, love. is the platform. Love is
-
the key. Love is the key. Love is the key. Love
-
is the key. Walk in love. Walk in love. Walk
-
in love. Walk in love. And in walking in love,
-
you will see a demonstration of all the things
-
of the Spirit through you. You will see the operation
-
of all the things of the Holy Ghost through you.
-
1 Corinthians 13. He said, though I speak with
-
the tongues of men and of angels and have not
-
charity, I am become a sounding brass or a tinkling
-
cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy
-
and understand all mysteries and all knowledge,
-
and though I have all faith so that I can remove
-
mountains and have not charity, I am nothing.
-
And though I bestow all my goods to feed the
-
poor, And though I give my body to be burned
-
and have no charity, it profited me what? Nothing.
-
So which means you can choose to prophesy and
-
not walk in love. You can give a word of wisdom
-
and you are not in love. You can give a word
-
of knowledge and you are not walking in love.
-
How do I know what will now come after you have
-
given a word of prophecy? How do I know? that
-
you're not working in love when you give a word
-
of wisdom, selfishness is going to come up. How
-
do I know that you're not working in love when
-
you operate in the gift of healing? There will
-
be divisions. There will be carnality. There
-
will be works of flesh manifested. But every
-
time there is working in love and there is oppression
-
of the things of the spirit, you will see pride.
-
You won't see carnality. You won't see self -centeredness.
-
You won't see divisions. He said love or charity
-
suffered long. It's kind. Can you see? Charity
-
envied not. Can you see? Sacrifice. Charity vaunted
-
not itself. Charity is not buffed up. Charity
-
behave itself what? does not behave itself unseemly.
-
It does not speak her own. It's not easily provoked.
-
When we keep reading, you keep saying that love
-
is not selfish. Prophecy that the Holy Ghost
-
has given you, all the gifts of the Holy Ghost
-
that he has given you, is not yours to keep.
-
It's for you to walk in love with them towards
-
the local church. For you to walk in love with
-
them towards the brethren. Ephesians 5 verse
-
2. Ephesians 5 verse 2. See what the scripture
-
says. And walk in love as Christ also at work
-
loved us. And have given himself. For us as an
-
offering. And his sacrifice to God. For his sweet
-
smelling. So what Jesus did. Was to bring profit
-
to us. What Jesus did. Was to bring benefit to
-
us. What Jesus did. Was to make our lives. Of
-
more advantage. Colossians chapter 3. Colossians
Colossians 3 chapter mention Colossians 3 chapter mention
-
chapter 3. Verse 12. See what the scripture says.
-
Put on, therefore, as the elect of God, holy
-
and beloved, power of mercy, kindness, humbleness
-
of mind, meekness, long -suffering, touching,
-
forbearing one another, and forgiving one another.
-
If anyone have a quarrel against you, right?
-
Even as Christ, what? forgive you also do yes.
-
He was supporting everybody. And above all things,
-
put on love, which is the bond of what? Perfectness.
-
You see, because you are walking in love. You
-
are forgiving one another. Because you are walking
-
in love, you are showing mercy to one another.
-
You are showing kindness to one another. You
-
are humble towards one another. You are meek
-
towards one another. You are long -suffering
-
towards one another. Hallelujah. When it comes
-
to the oppression of the things of the Spirit,
-
it's by love. Hallelujah. That is the only way
-
you can bring benefit to your brother. You can
-
bring benefit to your husband. You can bring
-
benefit to your wife when you walk in love. So
-
all the gifts of the Holy Ghost can only be beneficial
-
to your sisters, to your brothers, to the local
-
church when you walk in love. So we are the ones
-
who desire to demonstrate that which we have
-
received of the Spirit of God. Hallelujah. So
-
what are the characteristics of being filled
-
with the Spirit of God? What are the characteristics?
-
Number one, you are giving to supernatural utterances.
-
Acts chapter 2 verse 4, we are ready. When you
-
are filled with the Spirit of God, you are given
-
to supernatural utterances. Tongues and interpretation
-
of tongues. The prophecy. Word of wisdom. Word
-
of knowledge. Supernatural utterances. To revelations
-
and visions. When you are filled with the Spirit
-
of God, you will see revelations and visions.
-
Acts chapter 2, verse 17 to 18. Acts chapter
-
2, verse 17 to 18. You can read it. When you
-
are being filled with the Spirit of God, you
-
are going to see miracles. That's the third one.
-
Miracles. Miracles. Miracles. Signs and wonders.
-
Everywhere you see men are giving and are filled
-
with the Spirit of God, you are going to see
-
demonstration of miracles. Signs and wonders.
-
Romans chapter 15 verse 19. Romans chapter 15
-
verse 19. Acts chapter 10 verse 38. How God anointed
-
Jesus Christ of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost
-
and with power. And he went about doing good.
-
Healing all that were oppressed. Healing all
-
that were sick. And casting out all that were
-
oppressed of demons. Acts chapter 6 verse 8.
-
Acts chapter 8 verse 7. Miracles, signs and wonders.
-
Characteristics of being filled with the Spirit.
-
You will see giving of thanks. That's the fourth
-
one. Giving of thanks. Ephesians chapter 5 verse
-
18 to 20. Ephesians chapter 5 verse 18 to 20.
-
We've read it up. Do not be drunk with wine which
-
is in excess, but be filled with the Spirit of
-
God, speaking to yourselves in hymns, psalms,
-
and spiritual songs. 1 Corinthians 14, verse
-
17. Giving of thanks. He that giveth thanks in
-
tongues giveth thanks well. characteristics of
-
being filled with the spirit of god number five
-
you will see a feeling of joy the believer will
-
be full of joy full of joy full of joy ask chapter
-
8 verse 8. ask chapter 8 verse 8. ask chapter
-
8 verse 8. you will see Acts chapter 8, verse
-
8. And there was great joy in that city. Philip
-
took over the whole city by being filled with
-
the Spirit of God and brought joy to the city.
-
2 Corinthians 3, verse 17. 2 Corinthians 3, verse
-
17. Now the Lord is that spirit. And where the
-
spirit of the Lord is, there is what? There is
-
liberty. Hallelujah. Romans 15 verse 13. Full
-
of joy. Romans 15 verse 13. Now the God of hope
-
fills you with what? With all joy and peace in
-
believing that ye abound in hope through the
-
power of the Holy Ghost. Praise God. Characters
-
of being filled with the Spirit. There will be
-
submission to one another and willing to serve.
-
There will be submission to one another and willing
-
to serve. Hallelujah. There will be submission
-
to one another and willing to serve. When you
-
go to Ephesians chapter 5 verse 18 till 21. Submission
-
to one another and willing to what? And willing
-
to serve. Hallelujah. Nothing should stop you
-
from seeing supernatural utterances. Nothing
-
should stop you. You're going to experience revelations
-
and visions, miracles, signs and wonders, giving
-
of thanks, full of joy, submission to one another,
-
and willing to what? To serve. Hallelujah. Everywhere
-
you see a man that is filled with the Spirit
-
of God, look out for these characteristics. Look
-
out for these characteristics. Some of the things
-
that will hinder us from manifesting the gifts
-
of the Holy Ghost. Some of the things that will
-
hinder us from manifesting the things of the
-
Spirit in this season. You know, number one,
-
when we despise the things of the Holy Ghost.
-
1 Thessalonians 5, 16 to 20. When we despise
-
prophesies, that word to despise prophesies,
-
it means when you treat the things of the Spirit
-
with contempt, willful ignorance, making a choice
-
to despise the things of the Spirit. When you
-
suppress the things of the Spirit, you are despising
-
the things of the Spirit. Number two, one of
-
the things that will stop you from manifesting
-
the things of the Spirit, your association. If
-
you have a friend that despises the things of
-
the Spirit, I give you a little time, you will
-
end up like your friend. When you have fellowship
-
or move with believers who do not contend for
-
the things of the Spirit, when you move with
-
believers, When you move with believers that
-
do not contend to see the manifestation and demonstration
-
of the things of the Spirit, with time, you will
-
stop seeing them in your life. When you move
-
with believers that their desire and fervency
-
for the things of the Spirit is low, you are
-
not going to see them soon in your life. When
-
your fervency and desire is low, your fervency
-
and desire for the things of the Spirit will
-
also be low in a short time. Three, when you
-
are familiar with the things of the Spirit. Familiarity.
-
We know one now. We know, we know, we know. Do
-
not be familiar with the things of the Spirit,
-
with the Holy Ghost. The flow of the things of
-
the Holy Ghost is always fresh. The flow of the
-
Holy Ghost in the believer is always what? It's
-
always fresh. Desire to see fresh utterances.
-
Desire to see fresh move of the Holy Ghost in
-
your life. Do not be in familiarity with the
-
things of the Holy Ghost. I just gave a prophetic
-
word now to someone. Let it be fresh. Desire
-
that daily the flow of the Spirit through you
-
will be flesh in all your meetings. In any meeting,
-
desire to see the flow of the things of the Holy
-
Ghost fresh. Four. Number four. One of the things
-
that will stop you or hinder you from manifesting
-
the things of the Spirit is worldliness. Worldliness.
-
Carnality. Worldliness. When you begin to hear
-
some sort of doctrine that plays down on the
-
love of God, on the love work and honor for the
-
body of Christ. Wordliness. Wordliness. When
-
you begin hearing some doctrines that plays down
-
on the love of God. that plays down on the things
-
of the spirit, that plays down on honor for the
-
body of Christ, worldliness. When you begin to
-
listen to people and friends that quench your
-
pursuit for the supernatural, please, I want
-
to speak to someone here. Stop listening to people
-
that always are around you to quench your desire
-
for the supernatural. Stop listening to them.
-
In fact, let me say this, it's coming to my heart,
-
leave them. Any friend that will quench your
-
quest, your pursuit for the supernatural power
-
of the Holy Ghost, leave that friend. It's not
-
a supernatural friendship. Number five. Prayerlessness.
-
Prayerlessness can cause your fervency for the
-
things of the spirit to be low. Prayerlessness
-
can cause your fervency for the things, demonstration
-
of the things of the Holy Ghost, the manifestation
-
of the things of the Holy Ghost, your fervency
-
for them to be low. So now, We say characteristics
-
of the things of the Holy Ghost. We say when
-
you are filled with the Spirit, number one, what
-
did I say? When you are filled with the Spirit,
-
number one, let me know whether you are with
-
me. You are giving to supernatural utterances.
-
You are giving to supernatural utterances. God
-
bless you. So, we are going to pick that one,
-
number one. When you are filled with the Spirit
-
of God, the first evidence we see scripturally,
-
can you hear what I'm saying? The first evidence,
-
one of the initial evidence that we are going
-
to see at work in your life as a believer is
-
the supernatural utterance. Supernatural utterance.
-
Supernatural utterance. Speaking, speaking, speaking,
-
chapter 2 verse 4. And they were all filled with
-
the Holy Ghost and began to speak with other
-
tongues as the Spirit gave them. utterance speaking
-
as chapter 4 verse 8 then peter fear with the
-
holy ghost spoke unto them speaking when you
-
are filled with the holy ghost the initial first
-
evidence we are going to see is supernatural
-
alterance acts of the former study one Acts chapter
-
4 verse 31. And when they had prayed, the place
-
was shaking where they were assembled together
-
and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost
-
and they did what? And they spake the word of
-
God with holiness. Speaking. Acts chapter 10
-
verse 45. Can you see? Speaking. Acts chapter
-
10, verse 45. And they of the circumcision we
-
believe were astonished as many as came with
-
Peter because what? That on the Gentiles also
-
was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. See
-
46, everybody. For they did what? For they heard
-
them speak with tongues. Hallelujah. Write this
-
19 verse 6. Acts 11 verse 24. So. When we say.
-
The utterance gift. Of supernatural utterance.
-
We mean. Speaking in tongues. We mean. Prophecies.
-
Tongues are supernatural utterance. And the believer
-
is the one that makes choice to speak. He's the
-
one that acts on his own will to speak. Why?
-
Because being filled with the Spirit of God,
-
I said on Sunday that somebody will ask a question.
-
So how can I be filled with the spirit of God?
-
And I told us that being filled with the spirit
-
of God means what? Manifesting that which is
-
the Holy Ghost from within. Demonstrating the
-
things of the spirit. So how can that be possible?
-
By speaking. Hallelujah. By speaking in tongues.
-
How can I stay off the things of the Spirit and
-
I see a demonstration of them? By doing what?
-
By speaking. Speaking in tongues. Giving a prophetic
-
word. When we read 1 Corinthians chapter 14.
1 Corinthians 14 chapter mention
-
1 Corinthians chapter 14. What do we see? In
1 Corinthians 14 chapter mention
-
the whole of 1 Corinthians chapter 14, Paul was
1 Corinthians 14 chapter mention
-
addressing the church to bring order regarding
-
the oppression of the prophetic. And he began
-
that chapter, every one of us, let's go there
-
because we are coming to that place now. He said,
-
follow after charity and desire spiritual gifts.
-
But rather that they may what? prophesied, for
-
he that would speak it in an unknown tongue,
-
speaking unto men or unto God, for no man understood
-
him, how being in the Spirit he would speak at
-
mysteries. But he that prophesied, speaking unto
-
men, verification and exhortation and comfort
-
was for everybody. He that speaketh in an unknown
-
tongue hath defied himself. But he that prophesied
-
hath defied what? The church. So what is prophecy
-
in chapter 14? When you read, prophecy is tongues
-
and interpretation of tongues. Tongues plus interpretation
-
of tongues is equal to prophecy. What is prophecy?
-
Prophecy is supernatural utterance in a simple
-
language that the audience can receive it and
-
be edified. Let me repeat myself. Prophecy is
-
supernatural utterance in simple language that
-
the audience can receive that utterance and what?
-
Be edified. This is a summary of prophecy. We're
-
going to come with time and teach on prophecy,
-
gift of prophecy, word of wisdom, word of knowledge.
-
The last prayer groups that we had, some of us
-
were giving prophecy, some of us were giving
-
word of wisdom, some of us were giving word of
-
knowledge. However, we're all mixing it together,
-
but we're going to come and then be trained and
-
taught. So you see an emphasis by Paul on speaking
-
in tongues. Oh, my dearly beloved brethren on
-
this platform, I encourage you. Pray in tongues
-
more. Pray in tongues more. Speak in tongues
-
more. Speak in tongues more. For in so doing,
-
you're going to make so much adventure in the
-
things of the Holy Ghost. For in so doing, you're
-
going to see an increase in the demonstration
-
of the things of the Holy Ghost much more. For
-
in so doing, you're going to see the manifestation
-
of the things of the Holy Ghost. See how many
-
times Paul, Had to mention tongues. 1 Corinthians
-
chapter 12 verse 10. He mentioned tongues there.
-
To another, the walking of miracles. To another,
-
prophecy. To another, designing of spirits. To
-
another, diverse kinds of tongues. To another,
-
interpretation of what tongues. 1 Corinthians.
-
12 verse 30. Have all gifts of healing? Do all
-
speak with tongues? Do all interpret tongues?
-
13, 1 to 2. 1 Corinthians 13. Do I speak with
-
tongues of men and of angels? Verse 2. And do
-
I have the gift of prophecy? tongues first Corinthians
-
14 verse 2 though I speak in an unknown tongue
-
verse 4 he that speaketh in an unknown tongue
-
verse 5 I would rather that ye all speak with
-
what speak with tongues hallelujah See verse
-
6, everybody. Now, brethren, if I come verse
-
6 to 11, from verse 6 to 11 is the battle. Verse
-
13, go to verse 13 to 14. Wherefore, let him
-
that speaketh in an unknown tongue pray that
-
he may what? He may interpret prophecy. Hallelujah.
-
Verse 14, for if I pray in an unknown tongue,
-
can you see how many times Paul has made mention
-
of tongues? Emphasis on tongues, tongues, tongues,
-
tongues, tongues, tongues. He said, for I thank
-
God that I pray in tongues more than ye are.
-
Tongues. Tongues is in the spirit. Hallelujah.
-
Can you hear what I'm saying, everybody? Tongues
-
is in the spirit. And if tongues is a manifestation
-
of the spirit, then you must value the things
-
of the spirit. It means that you must value tongues.
-
am in the spirit and tongues is in the spirit
-
so I ought to value it. Let me repeat myself.
-
I am in the spirit and tongues is in the spirit
-
so I ought to value tongues. Hallelujah. By tongues
-
we can make adventures in the spirit. By tongues
-
we can make adventures in the spirit. By tongues
-
we will stay aflame. By tongues we will stay
-
fervent. Will we stay long enough? Praying in
-
tongues. We will see more demonstration. And
-
manifestation of the Holy Ghost. Let me repeat
-
this line again. When we stay long enough. Praying
-
in the Holy Ghost. We will see the demonstration.
-
And the manifestation. Of the things of the Holy
-
Ghost. Much more. Okay. Praying in tongues. Find
-
Jesus. In the spirit. Do you hear what I said?
-
Praying in tongues fine -tunes us in the Spirit.
-
This that I'm about to say is someone's answer
-
right now. When you pray more in tongues, your
-
experiences in the things of the Spirit will
-
begin to change. These just answered someone's
-
questions about revelations and visions. Who
-
is the person? There's somebody on this platform.
-
You've been having a question and much more regarding
-
revelation and vision. Who is the person? You
-
can just indicate on the chat box. This is your
-
answer. When you pray more in tongues, your experiences
-
in the things of the spirit will begin to change.
-
So go extreme in tongues. Pray in tongues more.
-
Think also in tongues more. Give a hymn. Spiritual
-
tongues. spiritual songs sing in the spirit much
-
more the interpretations are going to come for
-
in so doing direction will come For in so doing,
-
comfort will come. For in so doing, healing will
-
come. For in so doing, that fire that you seek
-
will be set up again. For in so doing, you're
-
going to set up so much revival in your inside.
-
So you must be filled and full of the things
-
of the Holy Ghost. How? By praying in tongues.
-
How do I get filled with the Spirit of God? By
-
praying in tongues. By speaking much more. So
-
you need to have fervency when it comes to the
-
flow of the Holy Ghost. Do you understand what
-
I said? You need to have what? You need to have
-
fervency. Oh, your fervency must be on the edge.
-
Please, hear this thing I'm saying. Many people
-
have walked up to me and asked me, Sir, how is
-
it that you seem to flow when you just come into
-
a meeting? The meeting will be so dry. And then
-
when you stand up, there seems to be a steering
-
that is different that just catches people. A
-
couple of people have had the privilege, we've
-
had the privilege to go to some certain programs
-
around on this island and the meeting was as
-
dry as anything. And by the feeling with the
-
Spirit of God, we came up to the minister and
-
that place was on fire and the flow of the things
-
of the Holy Ghost. How? is this possible by staying
-
fervent when it comes to the flow of the Holy
-
Ghost? Brothers and sisters, stay fervent. Oh,
-
dear husband, dear husband, listen to me. If
-
you want to see much more of the Holy Ghost demonstration
-
in your family, stay fervent to the flow of the
-
things of the Holy Ghost. Dear wife, if you want
-
to see much more the flow of the Holy Ghost in
-
that family, stay fervent when it comes to the
-
things of the Holy Ghost. One of the things I
-
will tell you, how to stay fervent. Number one,
-
your desire must not be ordinary. Do you hear
-
what I said? Your desire to see the demonstration
-
of the things of the Holy Ghost must not be what?
-
Must not be ordinary. 1 Corinthians chapter 12
-
verse 31. Everybody see what the scripture says.
-
1 Corinthians 12 verse 31. He said, but what?
-
Convert endlessly the best gifts. Hallelujah.
-
When it comes to the things of the Holy Ghost,
-
you have to convert how? Earnestly. 1 Corinthians
-
14, 39. 1 Corinthians 14, 39. Wherefore, brethren,
-
convert to prophesy, and forbid not what? To
-
speak with tongues. 1 Corinthians 14, verse 1.
-
1 Corinthians 14, verse 1. Follow authority and
-
desire spiritual gifts. Hallelujah. Romans chapter
-
12, verse 11. Romans chapter 12, verse 11. Let's
-
see there, brethren. Romans 12, verse 11. See
-
what the scripture says there. Not flawfully
-
in business. Serving the what? In spirit. Serving
-
the Lord. Serving in spirit. Thou wilt to convert
-
earnestly. Are you here with me? Thou wilt to
-
convert earnestly. The Greek word there is zilo.
-
Zilo. Z -E -L -O -O. Convert endlessly. Zeal.
-
It's the same word with be fervent. The same
-
root word, zeal. It means to burn with zeal.
-
To burn with zeal. Be fervent means to boil.
-
Have a zeal that is unquenchable. Have a zeal
-
that is boiling. the fire of the spirit so your
-
desire must not be ordinary your desire must
-
not be what ordinary be flexible to the holy
-
ghost so your pharmacy and flexibility To the
-
Holy Ghost. And to the things of the Holy Ghost.
-
Must not be ordinary. Hallelujah. And they must
-
be built upon. These things I'm about saying.
-
Your fervency. And your flexibility. To the flow.
-
Of the things of the Holy Ghost. Must be built
-
on. Regular devotion. Regular devotion. In fellowship
-
with God. Regular devotion in fellowship with
-
God. In words, in prayer, and in meditation.
-
In words, in prayer, and in meditation. 1 Thessalonians
-
5 verse 17. 1 Thessalonians 5 verse 17. See what
-
the scripture says. Glory to God. I just perceive
-
more that there are many people on this platform
-
that are already stirred up in the spirit. 1
-
Corinthians 5, verse 17. From verse 16. Rejoice
-
evermore. Pray without what? Ceasing. Regular
-
devotion in prayers, in the word, and in meditation.
-
Luke 18 verse 1, and Jesus gave this parable
-
unto them, saying, men ought to always pray and
-
not faint. Ephesians chapter 6 verse 18, praying
-
always with all manner of supplication in the
-
spirit. Romans 12, verses 1 to 2. Your mind be
-
transformed on the word. So your frequency and
-
flexibility to the flow of the things of the
-
Holy Ghost must be built on what? Regular what?
-
Devotion. In prayer. In the word. And in what?
-
In meditation. Secondly, in your participation.
-
In Holy Ghost meetings. In your participation
-
in what? In Holy Ghost meetings. You see, why
-
all of them were able to flow in the things of
-
the Holy Ghost in Acts chapter 2 verse 4 is because
-
they were all together in one place. Always participate
-
in believers meetings. Your fervency will be
-
on the edge. Your fire will be on the edge. Your
-
desire will not be ordinary. You will find men
-
that are like passion like you. You will find
-
men that are like passion. Men that have same
-
passion. Men that are burning. Men that are converting
-
endlessly. Just as you. So make a choice. You
-
have to make a choice to start out on the things
-
of the Holy Ghost. When it comes to the flow
-
and manifesting the things of spirit, you have
-
to start out. Please, don't be afraid. I just
-
hear in my heart a word for someone now. Don't
-
be afraid to start something. Don't be afraid
-
to start out on the prophetic. Don't be afraid
-
to start out praying in tongues. Don't be afraid
-
to give out that word of knowledge. So make a
-
choice. You are the one to start it out. 1 Corinthians
-
14, verse 26. 1 Corinthians 14, verse 26. How
-
is it, brethren, when you come together? Every
-
one of you had what? Had a thumb. Every one of
-
you had a doctrine. Every one of you had what?
-
Interpretation. Can you see a Holy Ghost meeting
-
there? Let all things be done unto what? A defiant.
-
So stand it up. 1 Timothy chapter 4 verse 14.
-
1 Timothy chapter 4 verse 14. See what the scripture
-
says. Neglect not the gift that is in you which
-
was given thee by the prophecy with the laying
-
on of hands of the world of the presbytery. Neglect
-
it not. You do not neglect the gifts that are
-
with you, in you, sorry. You do not neglect the
-
things of the Holy Ghost that are in you, that
-
are yours. Do not neglect it. Do not what? Neglect
-
it. 2 Timothy chapter 1, verse 6. 2 Timothy chapter
2 Timothy 1:6 2 Timothy 1 chapter mention
-
1. Do not neglect. Do not neglect the things
-
of the Holy Ghost. Flow in the things of the
-
Holy Ghost. Flow in the things of the Holy Ghost.
-
2 Timothy chapter 1 verse 6. Wherefore I put
-
thee in remembrance, NECF Church, that thou share
-
of the gift of God which is in you by the putting
-
on of my hands. Who is the one to steer it up?
-
Please, President, answer me. Who is the one
-
that will steer it up? Who? Me. Thank you, Takunda.
-
Me. Steer it up. And I have this word now. Anytime
-
you neglect the things of the Holy Ghost, it
-
will be difficult for you to steer them up. Do
-
you hear what I said? Every time you neglect
-
the gifts that are within you, it will be difficult
-
for you to do what? To stir them up. It will
-
be difficult for you to manifest them. It will
-
be difficult for you to what? To demonstrate
-
them. Every time you stir up the gifts of the
-
Holy Ghost, let me say them again. Every time
-
you neglect the things of the Holy Ghost, it
-
will be difficult for you to manifest them. It
-
will be difficult for you to flow in them. Because
-
the more they are stirred up, you are practicing
-
them. You are practicing them. You are practicing
-
them. You are practicing them. You will get better.
-
at it when it comes to the things of the holy
-
ghost do not have a pattern do you know what
-
i said do not have a what do not have a pattern
-
be flexible do you hear what i said be flexible
-
be flexible be flexible be flexible that's how
-
the flow of the holy ghost is You will get to
-
a place and you will hear a sharing of much more.
-
You will see a living much more. You will see
-
much more that is stirred up within you to lay
-
hands on the sick and they get healed. You will
-
get into another place. It's not a laying on
-
of hands. It's a prophetic word. You get into
-
another place, it's a walking of miracles. You're
-
going to see creative miracles happening through
-
your hands as Jesus writes them. So contend for
-
the flow of the things of the Holy Ghost. Contend
-
for the manifestation of the things of the Spirit.
-
content for the demonstration of the things of
-
the Holy Ghost. Dear brethren, dear believer,
-
dear sister, dear brother, content to see the
-
demonstration and the manifestation of the things
-
of the Holy Ghost. Lastly, lastly, you can check
-
your pharmacy. If you're with me now, you can
-
check how fervent you are regarding the things
-
of the Holy Ghost, or you can check your fervency
-
regarding the manifestation and the demonstration
-
of the things of the Holy Ghost by your attitude
-
and your actions towards the things of the Holy
-
Ghost. How? Let me repeat myself. You can check
-
your fervency. By your attitudes and your actions
-
towards the things of the Holy Ghost. How? Number
-
one. Your affection for the things of the Spirit.
-
How is your affection? How is your love for the
-
things of the Spirit? Is it growing cold and
-
cold? Is it getting low, low and low every day?
-
Number two. Your readiness always to jump into
-
sharing of the things of the Spirit. Your readiness
-
to jump into sharing of the things of the Spirit.
-
How ready are you? How ready are you? When you
-
say, give a word of prophecy, how ready are you?
-
When we say, give a word of wisdom, how ready
-
are you? When you say, sing, give us a song,
-
give us a hymn, how ready are you by the Spirit?
-
Can you trigger the flow of the things of the
-
spirit by how passionate you are? Can you get
-
into a place? Let me repeat the line. Can you
-
trigger the things of the spirit by how passionate
-
you are? When you get into a place and the place
-
is dry, the atmosphere is dark. The atmosphere
-
is so choked. Can you be able to start out a
-
move of the Holy Ghost? Can you be able to start
-
out a flow of the things of the Spirit? You can
-
check your fervency by how daily you practice
-
more and more the things of the Spirit. You can
-
check it, how daily you practice more and more
-
the things of the Spirit. When it comes to the
-
flow and the manifestation of the things of the
-
Spirit, you start it out. You have to start out.
-
Have a kind of attitude that initiate the things
-
of God. Have a kind of attitude that initiate
-
the flow of the things of the Spirit. When you
-
get into a place, Haven't we read in Acts chapter
Acts 6 chapter mention
-
6? He said, let's get amidst us men that are
-
full of faith. Men that are full of the Holy
-
Ghost and wisdom. Men that can start out the
-
flow of the things of the Spirit. Men that are
-
yielded to the things of the Spirit. Men that
-
can easily be moved by the impulses of the Holy
-
Ghost. Always have a hunger. Always have a hunger
-
by yielding to the Holy Ghost more. And then
-
lastly, always be ready to use your faith, brother.
-
Always be ready to use your faith, sister. Always
-
be ready to put your faith into action. Always
-
be ready to put your faith into action. Be on
-
the front on the use of your faith. Be on the
-
floor on the use of your faith. Regarding the
-
things of the Holy Ghost. Regarding the manifestational
-
things of the Spirit. You are the one to stay
-
up. You are the one to flow in the things of
-
the Spirit. Can we pray in the Holy Ghost, wheresoever
-
you are right now? Can you pray in tongues? Can
-
you pray in tongues? There is already a staring
-
in that room. Pray in tongues. In that office,
-
pray in tongues. On your bed. You are the one
-
to stay out. In your room you can start out.
-
Much more. In your bed. You can start out. A
-
move of the Holy Ghost. You can take a city.
-
You can bring. One of comfort. You can bring
-
direction. You can bring restoration. Can we
-
pray in tongues, everybody? Can we pray in tongues?
-
Can we pray in tongues? Thank you, Holy Ghost.
-
In Jesus' name we pray.
