Welcome to NECF. We're thrilled you're here.
-
Make sure to stay with us till the end, where
-
we'll share some great resources to deepen your
-
faith. Now, let's dive into this week's sermon.
-
Holy Ghost. Holy Ghost. As you're seated, can
-
you just pray in tongues for two minutes? Don't
-
look at your friend. Don't look at anybody. Just
-
close your eyes. Can we all close our eyes? I'm
-
praying the Holy Ghost. Can we all close our
-
eyes? Everybody close your eyes. Don't be distracted.
-
Close your eyes. Thank you. Thank you for watching.
-
One more minute. Let's pray. Please ensure your
-
eyes are closed. Don't be distracted. Pray in
-
the Holy Ghost. One more minute. Holy Ghost.
-
Holy Ghost. Thank you, Lord. In Jesus' name.
-
Hallelujah. 1 Corinthians chapter 12. 1 Corinthians
1 Corinthians 12 chapter mention 1 Corinthians 12 chapter mention
-
chapter 12. Everybody. Can everybody say, I have
-
the Holy Ghost? I have the Holy Ghost. Can you
-
say, I have the Spirit of the Living God? And
-
He lives in the inside of me. He is my helper.
-
He is my teacher. He is my leader. He dwells
-
in the inside of me. Hallelujah. Praise God.
-
1 Corinthians chapter 12, everybody. We're just
1 Corinthians 12 chapter mention
-
going to introduce what we have and then we see
-
how the Holy Spirit strengthened us to be able
-
to take it in the coming days that are ahead
-
of us. He said, now concerning spiritual gifts,
-
if you have been in this assembly for a while,
-
you will understand that we've talked about this
-
so much. Amen? And we say in the original context,
-
we don't have... Spiritual gifts as it were.
-
When you're reading, if you have the Old King
-
James Version, you realize that the gifts there
-
are in Italic. Amen? And we say that it was introduced
-
by translators, right? For the sake of giving
-
it a context. Amen? Because of what is contained
-
within that particular chapter. Praise God. Hallelujah.
-
So we say now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren,
-
I will not have you what? I will not have you
-
what? Ignorant. Praise God. I will not have you
-
ignorant. Why will Paul return them back to this
-
place? Let's go to chapter 1. So it's not like
-
they are ignorant. They don't know what he's
-
talking about. Praise God. He's addressing a
-
local church that are aware of spiritual gifts.
-
Praise God. Yes, they are aware of it. You can
-
have something and don't know how to use it.
-
Praise God. You can have something and don't
-
know how to what? And use it. We call that abuse.
-
Praise God. Every time you don't know how to
-
use a thing, you don't understand the value.
-
Every time you don't know how to use a thing,
-
what happens is that you're going to abuse it.
-
Every time you don't know how to use a thing,
-
what is going to happen is that you're going
-
to use it to cause chaos. Hallelujah. Praise
-
God. And then we go to chapter 1 now. So that
-
you see, why will he tell them, I will not have
-
you ignorant? That kind of a statement will be
-
a statement given to people that are conversant
-
about something. Because if I come to you and
-
say, I will not have you ignorant, I know that
-
you know something. But the challenge is that
-
you are not living by those things. Amen? Praise
-
God. Then we go to chapter 1 now. Let's hear
-
why he will tell them that. 1 Corinthians chapter
1 Corinthians 1 chapter mention
-
1. Let's start reading from verse 1 so that we'll
-
have a big context to it, right? Paul called
-
to be an apostle of Jesus Christ. Please take
-
away these verses. Everybody's going to read
-
their Bible. Thank you. I love you. So if you
-
don't come to church with Bible, just be looking
-
at the ceiling. It just means that... You either
-
didn't know that here was a church or you think
-
it was some form of club or something. Or probably
-
you were not taught about what church is. So
-
take it away. You say I've reduced your work
-
so that you too can also read the Bible. You
-
know, right? Our media team, you know, right?
-
Yes, I just brought help now to you. Praise God.
-
Verse 1, everybody, look at your Bible, everybody.
-
We're going to be opening scriptures and then
-
open your Bible, everybody. Paul called to be
-
an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of
-
God and sustenance, our brother, unto the church
-
of God, which is at Corinth, to them that are
-
sanctified in Christ Jesus called to be the saints
-
with all that are in every place called upon
-
the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, both theirs
-
and ours. Three, grace be unto you and peace
-
from our God. From God our Father and from the
-
Lord Jesus Christ. I thank my God always on your
-
behalf. Hallelujah. I thank my God what? Always
-
on your what? When you hear such a remark or
-
such a prayer, what's the next thing that will
-
follow? Beautiful things, right? Yes, when I
-
say, oh, Bro Collins, I thank my God always on
-
your behalf. The next thing that you shall say
-
is, you'll be hearing good remarks. Is it not?
-
Right? If I'm going to... Correct him. And I
-
defy him. I'll tell him, Collins, I am not happy
-
or I'm unhappy. I'll introduce it from the beginning.
-
Hallelujah. And then he said something. Verse
-
4. For the grace of God which is given you by
-
what? Jesus Christ. First salvation. Amen. Yeah,
-
so he thanked God for their saved. Praise God.
-
5. That in everything you are what? Enriched
-
by him. In how many utterance? In all utterance
-
and in all knowledge. So the believer in Christ
-
Jesus is the man that is enriched in all what?
-
Alterance and in all what? Knowledge. Praise
-
God. Amen. See six now. Even as the testimony
-
of Christ was what? Was confirmed way in you.
-
Amazing testimonies. Seven. So that ye come behind
-
in what? Yea, come behind in what? Waiting for
-
the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Yea, come
-
behind in no gift. That this church are not actually
-
empty of spiritual gifts. Praise God. But we
-
see now in chapter 12, he would tell them that
-
I will not. He said now concerning what? Spiritual
-
gifts. It's just like I'm just talking to you.
-
And then as I'm talking to you about your academics,
-
I'm talking to you about your life after Cyprus,
-
I'm talking to you about what you should do,
-
then it's almost like I just remembered something
-
that has not been discussed. Amen? And then I
-
go, now concerning your prayer life, I will not
-
have you ignorant about how to carry out your
-
prayer life. And so let me tell you how to properly
-
carry out your what? Your prayer life. That's
-
the same context here. Praise God. It has gotten
-
into my ear that when you go to pray, you just
-
sing songs and sing songs and then share some
-
comedy and some form of laughter here and there.
-
And then you call it, you know, prayer lock out
-
or prayer locks in and then everybody goes home.
-
It just shows that you don't understand what
-
prayer is. Praise God. Hallelujah. So he wants
-
to bring an order to them here. Verse 2 now,
-
everybody. 1 Corinthians 12, 2. Ye know that
-
ye were what? Gentiles carried away unto these
-
dumb idols, even as ye were what? Were led, right?
-
He said, wherefore, I give you to what? I give
-
you to what? To understand. I will not have you
-
ignorant, and I give you to understand. That
-
no man speaking by the Spirit of God, Call it
-
Jesus what? Accursed. And no man can say Jesus
-
is the Lord but by the Holy Ghost. Hallelujah.
-
So our first encounter with the Spirit of God
-
came as a result of the gospel that we've heard.
-
Hallelujah. Praise God. We heard the truth of
-
the gospel which the Holy Ghost brought to our
-
hearts and we believe it with our heart. And
-
we confess the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe
-
that God raised him from what? From the dead.
-
And we became saved. So your first encounter
-
with the Holy Ghost was at salvation. Hallelujah.
-
Was at what? Salvation. Praise God. The title
-
of our... Because somebody will say, this man
-
is just moving. He didn't tell us what we are
-
talking about. Right? Holy Ghost meetings. Holy
-
Ghost. Meeting. You don't write meetings or meeting.
-
Holy Ghost Gathering. Holy Ghost what? Meetings.
-
I can't see you writing the title. You're trying
-
to think about the topic? Don't worry. Don't
-
think about it. Just write it. Write it. Let
-
me see you write. Holy Ghost Meetings. That's
-
the title. When I teach, I want to see everybody
-
writing. If you're using your phone, go to your
-
notepad and be writing. You understand in a bit
-
why you have to. If you are using your phone,
-
do what? I make you, by the authority of the
-
lead pastor, their sister lead pastor, and all
-
the associate pastors, today I ordain you as
-
a security officer of your neighbor. If your
-
neighbor is beside you and he is not writing,
-
or the neighbor is just pressing phone, and playing
-
games or scrolling WhatsApp, ask the person,
-
are you still a non -believer? Ask the person
-
that question if you see that person. Amen? You
-
know what he said in verse 2? He said, verse
-
2, he said, ye know that ye were what? Gentiles
-
carried away unto this what? Dumb idols. So ask
-
the person, are you still a Gentile carried away
-
by these dumb idols? Yes, I give you that authority
-
to be a security officer now on this morning.
-
Praise God. You will understand in a bit why
-
it's important for us. Praise God. So what's
-
the topic? What's the topic? Holy Ghost. Holy
-
Ghost. Can you say I love Holy Ghost meetings?
-
Say I love Holy Ghost meetings. Say I will attend
-
Holy Ghost meetings. Hallelujah. Praise God.
-
So I said that our first encounter was at where?
-
Where was our first encounter? Our salvation.
-
Where did we first encounter the Holy Ghost?
-
Praise God. So that means that you are already
-
qualified for a Holy Ghost meeting. Praise God.
-
The number one criteria for you being part of
-
a Holy Ghost meeting is that you have encountered
-
the what? The Holy Ghost. Praise God. Hallelujah.
-
Yes, so we encountered the Holy Ghost first when
-
we first heard the gospel. Amen. The truth about
-
Christ. So the first information we had, that
-
was the same information about Christ that made
-
us say, Jesus is Lord. Verse 3 says, no one,
-
no one or no man can say, Jesus is Lord, but
-
by what? By the Holy Ghost. So what you had made
-
you receive the Spirit of God and you became
-
spiritual. Can you say what I had, what I received
-
as salvation, the Spirit of God made me spiritual.
-
Say, I am spiritual. I am spiritual because the
-
Spirit of God dwells in me. Yes, that's your
-
reality. Hallelujah. That's your new nature.
-
So what you heard, what you received, the Spirit
-
of God has made you what? Spiritual. 1 Corinthians
1 Corinthians 2 chapter mention
-
chapter 2. 1 Corinthians chapter 2. What did
1 Corinthians 2 chapter mention
-
you hear? 1 Corinthians chapter 2. Verse 2 to
1 Corinthians 2 chapter mention
-
5. What did you hear? See what Paul will tell
-
the Corinthian church. And at the same time,
-
it's a letter for us. Amen? He said, for I determined
-
not to know anything among you. Save Jesus Christ
-
and Him crucified. That's the message. Jesus
-
Christ and him what? Crucified. Three. And I
-
was with you in weakness and in fear and in much
-
trembling. And my speech and my preaching, which
-
is Jesus and him crucified, was not with enticing
-
words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of
-
what? Of the spirit and of what? And of power.
-
chapter 1. What did we hear? We heard the gospel.
-
And that same gospel is the power of God, is
-
the wisdom of God. Romans chapter 1 verse 16.
-
It says, For I am not ashamed of the gospel of
-
Christ, for it is the power of God unto what?
-
Salvation to everyone that what? Believed. Hallelujah.
-
Praise God. To everyone that what? Believes.
-
Automatically you are part of this power. Praise
-
God. Automatically you are part of the Spirit
-
of God. Because now the Spirit of God dwells
-
in you. So we are in 1 Corinthians chapter 2.
1 Corinthians 2 chapter mention
-
Then verse 10 to 12. 1 Corinthians chapter 2,
1 Corinthians 2 chapter mention
-
10 to 12. He said, But God hath revealed them
-
unto us by His Spirit. For the Spirit of God
-
started all things, yea, the deep things of God.
-
11. For one man knoweth the things of God, and
-
things of a man, save the Spirit of man which
-
is in him. Even so, the things of God knoweth
-
what? Know man, but the Spirit of who? The Spirit
-
of God. Everybody, please go check your Bible
-
now as we are reading it. See verse 12. Can we
-
read everybody? 12. Everybody, want to go? Now.
-
Is it tomorrow? When? Now. This is the current
-
reality now. Praise God. updated version update
-
news now now we have received not what let's
-
read all together but the spirit which is that
-
we might what know the things that are what freely
-
given to us of what of god hallelujah praise
-
god 13 which things also we speak not in words
-
which Man's wisdom teaches, but which the Holy
-
Ghost teaches, comparing what? Only a spiritual
-
man can compare spiritual things with spiritual.
-
Hallelujah. Praise God. So the day you received
-
the Spirit of God as salvation, you became, what
-
did you become? Spiritual. Hallelujah. Praise
-
God. Hallelujah. So the word spiritual, the word
-
spiritual means, The word spiritual means the
-
Spirit of God by the Spirit of God in the Spirit
-
of God with the Spirit of God. The word spiritual
-
means the Spirit of God by the Spirit of God
-
in the Spirit of God with the Spirit of God.
-
What spirit are we talking about here? We are
-
talking about the spirit of the living God. Hallelujah.
-
We are talking about what? The spirit of what?
-
The living God. Peter will teach in Acts chapter
Acts 2 chapter mention
-
2. He said for now what do you see? That event
-
you see that everybody is speaking in tongues
-
and different kinds of utterances is because
-
that which has been prophesied by prophet Isaiah
-
and Joel has been fulfilled now. Amen. that the
-
Spirit will be shed. And today, glory to God
-
before your eyes, Christ has now what? Shed off
-
the Spirit. Praise God. Hallelujah. 1 Corinthians
-
3 .16 1 Corinthians 3 .16 So we said the word
-
spiritual means what? Echo it, let me hear. Yes.
-
Yes. In the spirit of God, yes. With the spirit
-
of God. Hallelujah. So and I said, what spirit
-
are we dealing with here? We are dealing with
-
the spirit of God. Hallelujah. If you are saved
-
here, you don't have a demonic spirit. You have
-
what? The spirit of God dwelling in your what?
-
Inside. Somebody will say, but sir, I tried my
-
best to stop smoking. I think I have a demon
-
spirit in me. But I know I am saved. You don't
-
have a demon spirit in you. You have the spirit
-
of God, where? In you. However, you are oppressed
-
by a demon spirit. So you cannot have two spirits
-
inside you. You cannot have a good spirit. A
-
holy spirit and an unholy spirit in what? Inside
-
you. You cannot. Even in the demonic realm, they
-
know this. That a higher spirit and a lesser
-
spirit don't stay in the same place. They understand
-
it. Jesus will tell them, if I cast out this
-
devil that you are saying, by the spirit of what?
-
Beelzebub. Then the kingdom of Satan is divided.
-
So you see, when you go to see a native doctor,
-
the native doctor is only permitted to interact
-
with one level demonic realm. So when you go
-
with demons, what the native doctor will do to
-
cast out one, he's going to invoke a higher one,
-
beg the one, say, please, remove him, leave him
-
now, please. That higher one will say, okay,
-
kill a virgin. So they will now slaughter. We
-
just hear a lady has been kidnapped and then
-
story has ended. But you have the Holy Ghost
-
inside you that is higher than every other spirit.
-
What you need is your yielding to the Spirit
-
of God. That thing you call challenge is not
-
a challenge to the Spirit of God. That thing
-
you call challenge is because you are still holding
-
on to it. If only you can yield to the Spirit
-
of God. I tell you this by the Spirit of God
-
for free. You see, he said now. You have not
-
received the spirit of what? Of the world. What
-
have you received? Did he say tomorrow? Did he
-
say next two weeks? What have you received now?
-
The spirit of God. You have not received the
-
spirit of lust. You have not received the spirit
-
of pride. You have not received the spirit of
-
addiction. You have not received the spirit of
-
fear, as he says in Romans chapter 8. You have
Romans 8 chapter mention
-
not received the spirit of bondage. But when
-
we have received the spirit of sonship, that
-
we may cry, Abba, Father. That is the spirit
-
of what we have received. You are spiritual.
-
That is the mindset you must have. Holy Ghost
-
meetings are for spiritual men. Hallelujah. Holy
-
Ghost meetings are for what? Yes, for people
-
who know that I am spiritual. Let me tell you
-
good news. As you are sitting here, you are not
-
empty. You are either having the Holy Ghost,
-
you are saved. Or if you are here this morning
-
and you are hearing me and you are not saved,
-
let me tell you, you have a demon spirit. And
-
that spirit is the spirit of Satan and it's at
-
work in your heart now. And that spirit this
-
morning. If only you can believe. With your heart
-
that Jesus. That God has raised Jesus from the
-
dead. And you can confess with your mouth. The
-
Lord Jesus. Then there will be an exchange this
-
morning. Hallelujah. Praise God. So you are what?
-
You are spiritual. Hallelujah. 1 Corinthians
1 Corinthians 3 chapter mention
-
chapter 3. Verse 16. See what the scripture says.
-
Can we read it all together? Know ye what? That
-
you are and dwell outside you. And the Spirit
-
of God does what? And the Spirit of God dwells
-
where? In where? So that this place now, if I
-
will ask you a common question now. When we say
-
the Spirit of God dwells in you, what does the
-
English mean? Huh? Come on. This is a classroom.
-
Let's talk. When I say the Spirit of God dwells
-
in you, what do I mean? Am I negotiating it with
-
you? Am I trying to argue it with you? What am
-
I saying to you? Yes, I'm giving you an emphatic
-
reality. Praise God. Hallelujah. He said you
-
are the what? The temple of the living God. How
-
did you become the temple of the living God?
-
At salvation, the Spirit of God did what? Dwelled
-
in you. You did not become the temple before
-
the Spirit dwelled in you. The Spirit of God
-
dwelled in you and you became the what? The temple.
-
Let me repeat myself again. You were not the
-
temple. And then the Spirit of God dwell in you.
-
But rather what? The Spirit of God did what?
-
Dwell in you and you became what? A temple. That's
-
it. Praise God. Hallelujah. He said, so how do
-
9. He said, but ye are not in the flesh. But
-
you are in the Spirit. Hallelujah. Say, ye are
-
not in the flesh, but ye are in the spirit. If
-
so, be that the spirit of God dwell in you. Now,
-
if any man have not the spirit of Christ, he
-
is what? He is none of his. See verse 10, everybody.
-
And if Christ be in what? In you. The body is
-
dead because of sin, but the spirit is what?
-
Is alive because of what? Righteousness. See,
-
I have been called to righteousness. I've been
-
called to a life of righteousness. Oh, I didn't
-
work for it. Say it, I didn't work for it. I
-
didn't labor for it. God gave me as a gift. Yes,
-
that's what the scripture says. Praise God. The
-
same thing we see in John chapter 3, verse 3
-
to 5, everybody. You see, all this that we are
-
establishing this morning, He's going to lay
-
a foundation for where we're going. Amen? John
-
chapter 3, verse 3 to 5. We'll read 3 and then
-
jump to 5. Jesus answered and said unto him,
-
John chapter 3, verse 3, and we jump to verse
-
5. Jesus answered, verse 3, and said unto him,
-
Verily, verily, I say unto you, except a man
-
be born again, he cannot, what? See the kingdom
-
of God. Verse 5. Hallelujah. Say, except a man
-
be born of water, which is the Spirit, he cannot
-
what? He cannot enter into what? The kingdom
-
of God. Hallelujah. Praise God. Say we are spiritual.
-
Say we are spiritual. Say we are spiritual. You
-
know, sometimes you can just be accustomed to
-
one meeting. You know how just funny it is that
-
some people just, some believers will just choose
-
one meeting to attend in the church. You are
-
part of NECF and the only meeting you love is
-
just Sunday service. Let me give us an assignment
-
now. Just turn to your neighbor. Do you have
-
a neighbor? Ask the person a reality question.
-
How many services do you attend even in this
-
church? Please get an answer. After that answer,
-
ask the person which of the services. What answer
-
did you get? How many services? Two services?
-
How many? All services. How many did you get?
-
What answer did you get from him? Oh, it's new.
-
Okay, I love you, brother. What answer did he
-
give you? Two services. That's which one and
-
which one? Sunday and sale. Midweek service,
-
you don't come. I love you. The fact that it's
-
happening on Zoom is a service. Which answer
-
did she give you? Three. Only three. Which one
-
and which one? Sunday, cell and... So that's
-
all. She does not attend prayer cruise. She does
-
not attend catatismus. All of those things they
-
don't attend. I know somebody that wants to run
-
home, don't want to attend catatismus. Praise
-
God. You know, you can be accustomed to only
-
one service. You say, you know, me, eh? Pro college,
-
you don't understand. The way I love Sunday service.
-
You know, that, that, that morning song. Most
-
especially when, when, when, when Sister Shoko
-
Bleke leads the song. You know, I love that her
-
voice. Like an ambulance. That service is always
-
sweet. They have prayer meetings. No, no, no.
-
Prayer meetings are not for us. Not for us. I
-
didn't see you in cell meetings. No, no. Cell
-
meetings, I don't like. They always pick on me.
-
They always what? Pick on me. Blessed are thou
-
when you are picked. For the call of God has
-
been certified upon your life. You know, I was
-
with someone some days ago and then we're talking.
-
The person said, he said, so why me? I just feel
-
I don't want to attend cell meetings and the
-
rest. Because when I go, everybody see me as
-
though I'm unserious. I asked the person, so
-
what have you done to prove them that you're
-
not unserious? He said, nothing. He shows you're
-
unserious. If you miss cell meetings, it means
-
you are unserious. You miss midweek service,
-
it means you are. You miss Friday meetings, it
-
means you are. You miss Sunday meetings, it means
-
you are. You miss Catholicism, it means you are.
-
We arrange prayer crews for this local church
-
and you make up your mind. Brother, I will not
-
have you ignorant. You have returned onto dumb
-
idols. Saturday, we're going to have prayers.
-
We say, so -so -so day, we're going to pray from
-
9 to 5 or to 7. We will be there just praying
-
and not comedy. And that is the day you will
-
make up your mind not to attend. Can't you see
-
that you're working with the participation of
-
spirits? Spirits must be helping you to make
-
such a decision. I'm telling you. Yes. At least
-
be like Peter. Be like James. Follow us to the
-
place and sleep. After one hour, we're going
-
to tap you. Brother, so can you not tarry with
-
us for an hour? We'll continue. At least be within
-
the atmosphere. Hallelujah. Praise God. Tell
-
your neighbor, don't be accustomed to one meeting.
-
Don't be accustomed to one meeting. Attend all
-
meetings. Let me give you a heavy assignment
-
now. Can you take note of the name of the person
-
now? I'm saying this now. We're going to do this
-
now by the Spirit of God. Take note of the name
-
of the person now. And ensure. Please write the
-
name of the person. Write the name of the person.
-
Write the name of the person. We're going to
-
take it further now. Please pass us. We're going
-
to do this now. Amen. Amen? Take the phone number
-
of the person now. The number, and if you lie,
-
what happened in Acts is going to repeat itself
-
here. I'm just joking. I'm just joking. I'm serious.
-
Take the number of the person. I'm serious. The
-
number the person uses for WhatsApp. I can't
-
see you taking it. You see, I've given time because
-
I know what I'm receiving in my heart. That's
-
why I'm doing this now. In case you don't know,
-
Holy Ghost meeting has started. Whatever you
-
see me doing here, I'm not doing it because it's
-
planned. Yes. Have you done that? Have you done
-
that? Have you transferred the number? Is it
-
saved? Then the last instruction. Look at the
-
person and say, look at my eyes. I'm serious.
-
Say, look at my eyes. I will chase you for the
-
rest of this year. You must attend all services.
-
Yes. Yes, you must attend all services. Yes,
-
you must. You see, Holy Ghost meetings are not
-
for babies. However, babies can be around the
-
environment and see what is out there. See, Pastor
-
Victor does. You see? Uh -huh. You hear? Uh -huh.
-
That's how they'll be there, they'll be wondering.
-
Huh? Why are they falling? Why are they so prophesying?
-
Why are they saying this? Church meetings grows
-
the believer. Do you know what I said? Attending
-
church meetings does what? Grows the believer.
-
Check your growth in the things of God. It's
-
directly proportional to how you commit yourself
-
to church meetings. You cannot choose one meeting
-
and expect growth. It's just like saying, I want
-
to take only carbohydrates. What will happen
-
to you? Eh? What is the symptoms of kwashako?
-
Eh? Eh? Nurses and medical doctors, pharmacists.
-
Perturbed belly, feet, thin arms. You've forgotten
-
what? And big head. You don't attend church meetings,
-
you're going to have a big empty head. Full of
-
pride and arrogance. They are judging me. They
-
are testing me. I don't like the pastor. I don't
-
like... Can't you see what is inside your head,
-
Isenbe? But when you attend local church meetings,
-
all of it, in a little time, we're going to see
-
growth. Hallelujah. From one level to another.
-
to another, to another, to another, to another,
-
to another, till you now mature and measure up
-
to the full stature of Christ. Praise God. So
-
Christianity, Christianity is built around church
-
meetings. The life of a believer is built around
-
what? Church meetings. This gathering is the
-
church. Hallelujah. Praise God. So if you're
-
a Christian and you don't know what we do in
-
gatherings, it will show in how you're growing.
-
It will show in how you're struggling to pray.
-
Let me tell you, prayerlessness is a symptom
-
of your spirit showing that you are sick. Every
-
time you don't love to pray, it shows that you
-
are what? You are sick. Every time you don't
-
love to read the Bible, it shows that you are
-
what? You are sick. And you need an immediate
-
attention. For some of us here, I'm going to
-
say this now. If you are in the category, the
-
Spirit of God wants you now to revisit your life
-
again. For some of us, you just got sick yesterday.
-
For some of us, you've been sick. throughout
-
the last three months because that was the last
-
time you prayed. For some of us, you've been
-
sick almost the last six months. You need to
-
be in ICU. Yes. So if you are writing, write
-
this. One of the ways to check if you are growing
-
or not is through your participation in... in
-
gatherings of believers. Your commitment. One
-
of the ways to check if you're growing or not
-
is through your what? Participation in the gathering
-
of what? Of believers. It's just so amazing how
-
you run away from gathering of believers. God's
-
provision, God's will for you. Let me tell you,
-
as simple as late coming is, every meeting I
-
come late, it disturbs me. Ask my wife, she'll
-
tell you. I always want to be on time. I always
-
want to be there where? On time. It disturbs
-
me. Don't be used to just behaving anyhow. If
-
you did that in Africa, or you did that in Nigeria,
-
or you did that in Cameroon, or you did that
-
in Congo, or you did that in Casablanca, good
-
news for you. after hearing all the things you're
-
going to be hearing as being part of this local
-
church, you will never repeat those kind of lifestyle
-
or behaviors. You know, Christian meetings, please,
-
if you are writing this, write this. You say,
-
Christian meetings or gatherings is the will
-
of God for me. Say, Christian meeting or meetings
-
It's the will of God for what? For me. We're
-
going to look at it. Church meetings, local church
-
meetings, they are what? They are will of God
-
for me. It's God's provision for my growth. Exodus
Exodus 19 chapter mention
-
19. So that you won't say the meeting started
-
when Jesus was around. No. It has been God's
-
will for his people to always gather. Hallelujah.
-
It has been God's will for what? For his people
-
to always what? Yes. Exodus 19 verse 17. And
-
Moses brought forth the people out of the camp
-
to meet with what? To meet with what? With God.
-
And they stood at what? The nether part of what?
-
Of the mountain. And Mount Sinai was all together
-
on a smoke because the Lord did what? Descended
-
upon it in what? In fire. He brought all the
-
people together to meet with who? To meet with
-
God. Hallelujah. Can you see a gathering there?
-
Can you see a gathering there? 23, Exodus 23.
-
Exodus 23, verse 3 to 7. ass going astray thou
-
shalt surely bring it back to him again if thou
-
see the ass da da da da da da da thou shalt not
-
rest to rest the judgment of thy poor in his
-
cause keep thee far from a false matter and innocent
-
and righteous slay thou not for i will not justify
-
the what the wicked and thou shalt take no gift
-
for the gift blinded the wise and this and this
-
um I'm coming. Let me go back from where they
-
began to gather. Okay, actually that gathering
-
began from chapter 20. Go to chapter 20. God
-
started speaking from chapter 20. And God spoke
-
all these words to them saying, I am the Lord
-
thy God which has brought thee out of what? Out
-
of the land of Egypt, out of the house of what?
-
Bondage. That communication extended into chapter
-
21, into chapter 22, into chapter what? 23. And
-
even 24. All through you're going to see the
-
children of Israelite gathering and meeting God
-
and God speaking to them. Hallelujah. Leviticus
-
23 verse 3. Leviticus 23 verse 3. Gathering.
-
Leviticus 23. 23 verse 3. Six days shall thou...
-
Shall work be done. But the seventh day is the
-
Sabbath of what? Rest. And what? Holy gathering.
-
If you are using the version that says that.
-
Ye shall do no work therein. It is the Sabbath
-
of the Lord in all your what? Your dwellings.
-
Hallelujah. That there is a day set aside for
-
what? For holy meetings. Hallelujah. For holy
-
gatherings. We see it has been God's plan for
-
his people to always what? Gather. Deuteronomy
Deuteronomy 4 chapter mention
-
chapter 4. Deuteronomy chapter 4. If you're here
Deuteronomy 4 chapter mention
-
and you're God's man, then God's will for you
-
is to always be among believers. Deuteronomy
-
chapter 4 verse 10. When the Lord said unto me,
-
do what? Do what? Oh, check your Bible. Don't
-
be looking at me. When the Lord said unto me,
-
do what? Gather me the what? The people together
-
and I will do what? And I will make them to do
-
what? To hear my word. Where do we hear God's
-
word? In gatherings. Hallelujah. Where do we
-
know the plan of God? Where? In the local church.
-
Where do we know the mind of God? Where? In the
-
local church. He said, I will make them hear
-
my words that they may do what? Please be reading
-
with me. That they may do what? That they may
-
learn to fear me all the days that they shall
-
live upon the earth and that they may also what?
-
Hallelujah. You know, when you go beside Tito,
-
and then during prayers, they say pray. And you
-
start praying. I don't know where he learned
-
that. You know, Tito is somewhere around there.
-
You know what Tito will do? Tito will fold his
-
hand behind. When he does, he will look at you.
-
Are you still doing it? Yes, okay. You continue
-
doing it. You know, we are at the training center.
-
For whatever reason, I looked at Tito and I saw
-
that that young man is a prophet. I just tapped
-
his start. I said, do you know Tito is a prophet?
-
He's going to grow to be a prophet. And he told
-
me that somebody said it also. He confirmed it.
-
And you know, since from that day, the way I
-
look at that boy has changed. Every day, I pay
-
attention. They say, hold your neighbors and
-
pray. I say, come, come, let's hold hands. And
-
I held him. We are praying. He looked at my leg.
-
I'm shaking my leg. He started shaking his leg
-
too. Pastor Victor shared about Exploit. Exploit
-
had a song or something that was happening on
-
YouTube or somewhere. And she was correcting
-
the lyrics of those songs. How beautiful it will
-
be when she is 20. They will teach their children.
-
What you teach to your generations, you don't
-
get it on Facebook. You don't get it on TikTok.
-
You get it from the local church. Let me tell
-
you, you can pass wealth to them and they will
-
end up in hell. You can pass any kind of thing
-
to them, they will end up what? In hell. But
-
you can't pass eternal life to them. Their lives
-
will never remain the same. God wins. So if you're
-
here and you're a parent, start paying attention
-
to what your children are feeding. Don't say
-
it's a child, it's Cocomelon. Cocomelon, giddy,
-
giddy, giddy, giddy, giddy, giddy. He's crying,
-
pass Cocomelon for him, he'll keep quiet. Who
-
told you that at that stage, they cannot learn
-
Jesus? If they can learn Cocomelon, they can
-
learn Jesus. Go to Nigeria and see the kind of
-
things that people are doing now to children.
-
Because people, everyday believers are realizing
-
that their children are more possessed with lots
-
of useless information online. So everybody is
-
on guard now. Hallelujah. Let's read this verse
-
and then we're going to stop here. We're just
-
going to build on this. Amen. You see, we moved
-
from where? From salvation. from that we are
-
spiritual and we are going to what? To gatherings.
-
Why gatherings are important now for believers.
-
Amen? And now we are, now we've returned back
-
to Old Testament, as it were, to now see where
-
gatherings, that God's plan has been for his
-
people to always what? To always gather. Because
-
that is where his mind is communicated. That
-
is where his plans, his intentions, whatever
-
he is doing on the earth, right, is being revealed
-
to his people. Yes. Say Deuteronomy again, chapter
-
6. Deuteronomy chapter 6, verse 6 to 7. You say
-
he is a child. Don't worry. Don't train him in
-
the way of the Lord. You will understand very
-
soon that he is not a child. Deuteronomy chapter
-
6, verse 6 to 7. And these words which I commanded
-
this day shall be in thy heart, and thou shalt
-
teach them what? Diligently unto thy children,
-
and shalt talk to them when thou what? When thou
-
what? When thou seated, when thou gather, even
-
together in what? In thy house. And when thou
-
walkest by the way, and when thou liest down,
-
and when thou walkest, rise then up. It's a right
-
thing for families to always gather and pray.
-
Let me tell you this. It's sickness to a family
-
when the father and the mother cannot pray with
-
the children. It's a huge abnormality. I can
-
tell you, most of our growth, most of our growth,
-
I mean ourselves, most of what we saw that made
-
us who we are today, as God has used those platforms,
-
is because our parents, when we grew up, we see
-
them always meeting. But you know, at a certain
-
time, Satan struck with misunderstanding and
-
those prayers stopped. Boy, we saw red fire in
-
our family. Let me tell you, you can have a unity
-
of account. You can have a unity of money. You
-
can have a unity of business. If you don't have
-
a unity of faith in your home, you are dead gone.
-
Hallelujah. So God desires that even in your
-
family, that there are gatherings. Hallelujah.
-
Say, my wife, don't say this boy is a child.
-
Tomorrow, we're going to take a fast and pray.
-
Hold your wife, hold your husband, gather your
-
children. Just spare us some time and pray. Lay
-
hands on them. Prophesy. Declare God's word upon
-
their lives. Gatherings has been the plan of
-
God for his people. When we come, the next time
-
we meet, we're going to continue from there.
-
Hallelujah. We're going to continue building.
-
We are still in Old Testament now. Still looking
-
at gatherings. Amen. When we come, We're going
-
to span out through and then into New Testament.
-
And then we will now jump into kinds of meetings.
-
Amen. So that we will know Holy Ghost meeting.
-
What really is a Holy Ghost meeting? And why
-
do we need a Holy Ghost meeting? Hallelujah.
-
What are the benefits of such a meeting to us?
-
When we gather, what really is happening to us?
-
Praise God. Can we just stand up on our feet?
-
So you see, you are spiritual. Your participation
-
in gatherings, in local church meetings, just
-
indicates how healthy or sick you are. For example,
-
let me give an example now. For example, when
-
we say, can we pray in the Holy Ghost? Don't
-
be looking at the ceiling and be scratching your
-
head. That is when you realize your body is itching.
-
No, no, no, no, no, no. When we say, let's pray,
-
let's do what? Let's pray. That is how healthy
-
you should be. Can we just pray in the Holy Ghost
-
and give thanks? Can we just pray in the Holy
-
Ghost and give thanks? The Spirit of God is here.
-
He dwells in us. The will of God, the mind of
-
God is made manifest in meetings. It's obvious
-
what He's doing in our hearts. He told us what
-
he's doing in our lives and with our lives. He's
-
communicating his intents to us. We're thankful
