Welcome to NECF Sermons. Each message here is
-
designed to uplift and strengthen you in your
-
walk with God. Don't miss out. Stay with us until
-
the end for a rewarding experience. Let's dive
-
right in. Can you just be praying under your
-
breath in the Holy Ghost? So this is an instruction.
-
Can you just be praying under your breath in
-
the Holy Ghost? As you listen to me, likewise
-
be praying. Under your breath in the Holy Ghost.
-
I know that song was for many here. Including
-
myself. Hallelujah. That song including myself.
-
I won't stop trusting the lover of my soul. I
-
will not. He has proved himself over and over
-
and over again. I won't stop trusting the lover
-
of my soul. Whatever I lacked, he has made me
-
full of it. When I'm doubting, he has assured
-
me 10 ,000 times. In the storms he has led me,
-
calmly in the midst of it. Nothing will stop
-
me from trusting the lover of my soul. Hallelujah.
-
Praise God. Hallelujah. So there's a word here
-
during the prayers that we got, and the words
-
is, Karatismos will be glorious. Hallelujah.
-
The word says Karatismos will be glorious. Prepare
-
and plan to participate in every session. Men
-
will be built and clarity will come. Hallelujah.
-
And then the last word here says also desire
-
supernatural experiences much more. Hallelujah.
-
Can you say I have supernatural experiences?
-
I see supernatural experiences by the ability
-
of the Holy Ghost through my life and in my life.
-
Hallelujah. You see, the Holy Ghost has been
-
given to us by God not to be a dormant spirit.
-
Hallelujah. We heard last week, the Holy Ghost
-
has been given to us. He's an active spirit.
-
Praise God. He's living and he's active and he's
-
dwelling in the believer. Praise God. So the
-
believer, having the Holy Ghost in himself or
-
within himself or in his life, daily ought to
-
be seen his walkings. That's why when you read
-
Galatians, it says walk in the Spirit. Hallelujah.
-
Where we read last week in Romans chapter 8,
Romans 8 chapter mention
-
it says the Spirit of God dwells in your inside.
-
So mind the things of the Spirit. So we'll continue
-
from where we stopped, but in a different form
-
this morning. Amen. However, I'll give us some
-
notes. We're going to just highlight it somewhere
-
because we're going to come back to it. Praise
-
God. Hallelujah. We're going to come back to
-
it. Amen. So the topic we've been handling throughout
-
this season is Holy Ghost what? Holy Ghost meetings.
-
Hallelujah. Praise God. Holy Ghost meetings.
-
Why Holy Ghost meetings? Because Holy Ghost meetings
-
or believers meetings are for believers. Amen.
-
And then we heard last week that we are spiritual.
-
Amen. And what has qualified us to be spiritual?
-
Because we have the spirit of God where? In our
-
inside. How did we get the spirit of God? Let's
-
echo it. How did we get the spirit of God? At
-
salvation. Salvation how? By what? Yes. So we
-
had the gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe with
-
our heart that God has raised him from the dead.
-
And we confess the Lord Jesus. We got saved.
-
So at salvation, we first had an encounter with
-
the Holy Ghost there. Amen. So what happened
-
at salvation is that Jesus released his spirit
-
to dwell in our inside. Hallelujah. You see,
-
from that day onward, what has happened to you
-
is that you got a new nature in Christ Jesus.
-
You don't have a nature issue. Amen. What is
-
disturbing you is not a nature issue, as it were,
-
because already your nature has been transformed.
-
You're in Christ Jesus. I'm not talking about
-
now your body. Hallelujah. Praise God. So you
-
have the Spirit of God. We read it in 2 Corinthians
-
5. For if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature.
-
All things are passed away, and behold what?
-
All things are become new. So you see, the Holy
-
Ghost in the believer is not passive, it's active.
-
Do you hear what I said? The Holy Ghost inside
-
you is not what? Passive is what? It's active.
-
And you understand a little bit why I mention
-
this. You don't yield to passive things. You
-
yield to active things. You see, everybody, even
-
in the natural, you would love to associate yourself
-
with things that are working. Is it not? When
-
you try things, one, two, three, four, five,
-
and they are not working, right? Do you want
-
to associate yourself with them? No. So two things
-
are there. It's either the things in themselves
-
are not working or you don't understand how they
-
work. And so you will buy a device and then the
-
manufacturer will put a manual inside, right?
-
But in Africa, we don't care about manual. Right?
-
Yeah, so everybody on the streets just believes
-
that when he sees the on button, he switches
-
it on, he just knows how the thing functions.
-
But you see there, he will put the manual, he
-
will put the instructions. In fact, they've even
-
helped us, they will draw diagrams, they will
-
show you how to put the battery, they will show
-
you everything. You see, all those things are
-
in a bit so that you will enjoy the device. Hallelujah.
-
And you see, the manufacturer didn't leave you
-
ignorant of how to use the device. You see, what
-
God had done for the believer is that God had
-
put his spirit in the believer so that the believer
-
is not ignorant of his identity in Christ Jesus.
-
So the Holy Ghost inside you will keep walking.
-
will keep walking, will keep speaking, will keep
-
giving you promptings, will keep instructing
-
until you come to a place of maturity where you
-
understand and continue or begin to yield. So
-
your maturity in Christ Jesus is as a result
-
of your yieldedness and participation. Do you
-
hear what I said? Your maturity in the things
-
of God, in the things of the Spirit, is as a
-
result of what? Your yieldedness and your what?
-
Participation in the things of the Spirit. On
-
Wednesday we had in the teaching, that while
-
we are discussing or having these teachings,
-
is so that we know how we ought to behave ourselves
-
in the church, in a gathering, in a meeting.
-
Nothing grows the believer like teaching of God's
-
word. If you want to grow, if you want to grow,
-
if you want to grow, you need teaching of God's
-
word. Your mind cannot be transformed beyond
-
how you expose yourself to God's word. Yes. You
-
strive for mastery, you want to mature. and measure
-
up to the full stature of Christ, then yield
-
yourself to what? To the teaching of God's word.
-
Beloved, I will not have you what? Ignorant.
-
And that is why I'm informing you this morning
-
that your growth is directly proportional to
-
your participation in teaching meetings. Teaching
-
meetings will grow you as a believer. Teaching
-
meetings will deepen. your relationship and commitment
-
to Jesus, teaching meetings automatically read
-
you of flesh. The workings of flesh. It reads
-
you of it. Because what? Your identity every
-
day is before you. Every day your identity is
-
before you. Every day. Why do you think you will
-
pay tuition fees? And the lecturers would get
-
into your class every day of the week. And at
-
the end of four years, you come out, you are
-
so convinced that you're a medical doctor. Did
-
they come and manipulate your mind? Did they
-
come and tell you that you're a medical doctor
-
by words? What did they do? They exposed you
-
to an ideology. So what God has provided for
-
the believer's growth is to expose us to the
-
ideology of Christ. Not the philosophies around.
-
No. And that ideology is called the gospel. And
-
that gospel is a strategic, specific doctrine
-
about Christ. It's not money. It's not fame.
-
If you want to have money, go to Harvard Business
-
School. You're going to be taught how to establish
-
organizations and ETC. But you see, if truly
-
you want to grow and be effective as a believer,
-
then you have to what? Find yourself in a local
-
church. Someone says, sir, I don't know the local
-
church you belong to. How can I know the local
-
church? I say the scripture has already answered
-
it. And that is why we are here. Praise God.
-
Hallelujah. So teaching will grow you, will deepen
-
your relationship with Christ. Teaching, nothing
-
more. So let me say a few points here, added
-
to teaching meetings, and then we get into what
-
2 verse 42. Acts chapter 2 verse 44. See what
-
the scripture says. And all that believed were
-
together and all had things in common. Right?
-
And sold their possessions and goods and parted
-
them to all men as every man had need. And they
-
continued daily with one accord in the temple
-
and breaking bread from house to house, did eat
-
their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,
-
praising God and having favor with all the people.
-
And the Lord added to the church daily as what?
-
As should be what? Saved. 42. Go to 42, everybody.
-
And they continued what? Is it once a week? Is
-
it two hours a day? How did they continue? They
-
continued steadfastly in what? The apostles'
-
doctrine and fellowship and in breaking bread
-
and in what? And in prayer. See Acts chapter
-
4 verse 4 now, everybody. How be it many of them
-
which heard the what? Heard the what? The word.
-
So the word was taught. The word was preached.
-
That is the only way that they must have heard
-
about it, right? Good. So, and many of them that
-
heard the word did what? believed, and the number
-
of men was about what? 5 ,000. Amen? Acts chapter
-
5, verse 12 to 14. You see, the hearing of the
-
word brings about increase and multiplication.
-
Amen? Acts chapter 5, verse 12 to 14. Join himself
-
to them. But the people did what? Magnified them.
-
And believers were the more added to the Lord.
-
Multitudes. Both of what? Men and what? And women.
-
Hallelujah. So we saw them as believers. They
-
got into Christ. They were addressed as believers.
-
Right? All the places that we read, they were
-
all addressed as what? Believers. Believers.
-
Believers. Believers. Believers. Right? They
-
had the words, they got saved, and they are now
-
what? Believers. Amen? So, but now let's go to
-
chapter 6 verse 1. See now from believers what
-
is already happening now to them. Acts chapter
-
6 verse 1. And in those days, when the number
-
of the what? When the number of the... When the
-
number of the... When the number of the... Who
-
is a disciple? Come on now. Who is a disciple?
-
Okay, if you're in training center, who is a
-
disciple? Pastor Victor, they are not answering.
-
Who is a disciple? Come on now. Who is a disciple?
-
Okay, you. Okay, but you is a big answer. Who
-
is a disciple? Okay, a believer is still a big
-
answer. Who is a disciple? A follower is still
-
a big answer. Break it down. Who is a disciple?
-
Someone who is going under training. I have marked
-
your face. Someone who is undergoing what? Training.
-
Every believer that God saved or that God saved
-
should not be left hanging in the air. He must
-
be trained. Hallelujah. There were Thomas believers.
-
They had the word. The number of the believers
-
increased. It increased. But as we got into chapter
-
6, what has happened what? Disciples. We now
-
see Philip among them. We now see Stephen among
-
them. Disciples. Every believer in the local
-
church must be a disciple. Non -negotiable. That's
-
why you're not growing. You see, in the program
-
of God, you don't choose who discipled you. That
-
is why when you read Ephesians, it says that
-
he is the one that gives the gifts. He gave the
-
apostles. He gave the teachers. He gave, okay,
-
all of them are teachers. He gave the evangelists.
-
He gave the prophets. He gave the pastors. Did
-
you choose them? You don't. See, you know, me,
-
I like, I like Pastor Shoko Bleke. Anytime he
-
is teaching, he injures me. It's just because
-
you are ignorant. Every time Pastor Munene, he
-
teaches, I know he is attacking me. It's me.
-
It's my... Because even the way he is looking
-
at my direction, who are you in that? Who are
-
you? If you feel he is talking to you, then yes,
-
he is addressing you. So you got saved by hearing
-
the gospel, right? But you don't remain there.
-
If not, like I always say here, you become what?
-
UFO. Unidentified flying objects. You're online,
-
church. You're online, church. In fact, sometimes
-
you touch shrine. You come out. You touch mocks.
-
You come out. They invite you to cloud nine.
-
Here. You go there. Sometimes you come here.
-
You know? The glory of God fills everywhere.
-
You cry on your knees. You get out there. And
-
your mumutious friends carry you again. You move
-
around and then you're just struggling with identity
-
crisis everywhere. The cure to identity crisis
-
for every believer is teaching. Do you hear what
-
I said? The cure to what? To identity crisis
-
for every believer is what? So now see everyone.
-
Was multiplied? There arose a murmuring of the
-
Christians against what? The Hebrews because
-
their widows were what? Neglected in what? In
-
daily ministration. And from there we can keep
-
reading. You will see how they were addressed
-
as disciples, disciples, disciples, disciples,
-
disciples. You must be discipled. You are a product
-
of teaching if truly you yield yourself to discipleship.
-
There's so much that will change in your life.
-
You see, you are too full of yourself. Really.
-
Small revelation. You think you have arrived.
-
And the revelation is just how to go through
-
BLB. You just understood how to check. Let me
-
use one. Zoe, just that, cardboard. You know,
-
according to BLB, you don't know anything. Revelational
-
knowledge excites. I'm telling you, it excites.
-
So let me say this as a word of caution. The
-
more you feel excited, it should be a sign for
-
you to calm down. You know, in someone's language,
-
it's a Nisuru, Nisuru, Nisuru for a ballet. The
-
more you want to, what? Me what? Nisuru. Calm
-
down. There is more you need to know. Praise
-
God. You know why I said that now. Hallelujah.
-
So now, if you're writing, please write this
-
now. It's important. So every church ought to
-
be a Bible school. Every church ought to be a
-
what? A Bible school. Listen to me. I will not
-
have you ignorant. Listen to me. Every church
-
ought to be a what? And I say it on this authority.
-
If you go to any local church and you're not
-
taught God's word, Something is going to happen
-
to you now in a short time. Every local church
-
ought to be a Bible school and the teaching meeting
-
is a classroom. You come, you sit down, and you
-
are taught. You hear, you walk with the instructions.
-
Amen? It's important. Except your teacher does
-
not understand the responsibility. But if a teacher
-
understands the responsibility, he will want
-
your full attention. It's so unfortunate that
-
we come here on a Sunday morning, on a Wednesday,
-
on a Friday, and that is when you feel best fit
-
for you to carry your phone and play Candy Crush.
-
I don't know the games that are online now. So,
-
in teaching meetings, we only have one person
-
that is teaching. I need to say this now. In
-
teaching meetings, we only what? Have one person
-
that is what? Our participation is actively in
-
listening, learning, taking notes and asking
-
questions. In teaching meetings, only one person
-
is what? Is teaching. What is our participation?
-
How do we ought to behave ourselves? In what?
-
Actively in listening, learning. Taking notes
-
and what? Asking questions. You should never
-
be found. Teaching is going on. You and your
-
two friends. You are in corner. You are also
-
having your teaching class. How do we ought to
-
behave ourselves in teaching meetings? How do
-
we ought to behave ourselves? Actively what?
-
Listening. learning, taking notes. This is a
-
full characteristic or feature of a disciple.
-
Pastor Fred is my discipler. Pastor Fred is my
-
discipler. Pastor Fred is my discipler. But when
-
we see your life, there is nothing comparing
-
you to this type of life and behavior. It means
-
that you are not actively listening. It means
-
you are not actively listening. When you actively
-
listen, you actively learn, right? You take notes,
-
you ask questions. In a short time, you will
-
be like your teacher. Hallelujah. Because that's
-
the fruit of teaching. The fruit of teaching
-
is that the disciple becomes a what? Yes, the
-
discipler. Hallelujah. So, take this down. We
-
are coming back to them. The second kind of meeting
-
is prayer meetings. Put number two, prayer meetings.
-
There is a manner in which we ought to behave
-
ourselves in prayer meetings. We are going to
-
talk about it in detail. Number one is what?
-
Teaching what? Meetings. Number two is what?
-
Prayer meetings. Write this down. Number three.
-
Outreach meetings. Evangelical meetings. Evangelical
-
meetings, number three. Number four. Healing
-
meetings. Healing what? Meetings. Glory to God.
-
We're going to talk about all this in detail.
-
Number five. Leaders' meetings. Leaders' meetings.
-
You see all the meetings that I'm asking us to
-
write, there is a posture. And all of them are
-
from the scriptures. Leaders' meetings. Are we
-
all there? Number one is what? Number two? Number
-
three? Number four? Number five? And then number
-
six now. In itself now. Holy Ghost meetings.
-
Or you can say believers meetings. Holy Ghost
-
meetings or believers meetings. Thank you, Holy
-
Spirit. Can we pray in the Holy Ghost for two
-
minutes, everybody? Can we just pray in the Holy
-
Ghost? And what are we praying for? Just praying
-
the Holy Ghost for two minutes. And when I say
-
praying the Holy Ghost, I mean praying tongues.
-
What are you praying for again? Can you say pray?
-
That you pray the Holy Spirit, use me to be a
-
blessing to my neighbor this morning now. Use
-
me, use me much more. Speak through me for my
-
neighbor. Speak through me for my friend. Speak
-
through me for my wife. Speak through me for
-
my husband in the name of Jesus. Thank you, Holy
-
Ghost. Our eyes are open. We see by the Spirit.
-
We hear by the Spirit. We have supernatural experiences
-
by the Spirit of God. We have hearing ears. We
-
have seen eyes by the Spirit of God. Our hearts
-
are open. We receive instructions and directions
-
by the Spirit of God. We prophesy by the Spirit
-
of God. We give a word of knowledge by the Spirit
-
of God. We give word of wisdom by the Spirit
-
of God. Tongues and interpretation of tongues
-
by the Spirit of God. The power to heal is available
-
by the Spirit of God. In the name of Jesus, we
-
are edified and we leave this place rejoicing
-
by the Spirit of God. Weaknesses are taken. Fears
-
are taken. Depressions are taken. Diseases are
-
healed. In the name of Jesus. Baptism of the
-
Holy Ghost. Demonstrations of the gift of the
-
Holy Ghost. Strength, strength, strength, strength
-
supplied to us in the name of Jesus. We thank
-
you, Holy Ghost. In Jesus' name. What is a Holy
-
Ghost meeting? Holy Ghost meeting or a believer's
-
meeting, you can say it's a meeting where we
-
see the demonstrations of the Spirit of God.
-
Where we see the demonstration of the Spirit
-
of God. We give the Spirit of God a room to manifest
-
Himself. We give the Spirit of God what? Room
-
to what? To manifest Himself. However, it has
-
an order because there is someone, there is a
-
leader that will give us instructions on what
-
to do. But often, it's not programmed. Amen?
-
Holy Ghost meetings are not what? Are not programmed.
-
However, it has an order, right? But it's not
-
what? It's not programmed. We're going to look
-
at it in the Scriptures. So we give room for
-
the Spirit of God to do what? To manifest. We
-
see the demonstrations of the Spirit. So in Holy
-
Ghost meetings, what we find, two major things
-
we find. Number one, the teaching of God's word.
-
And number two, the demonstrations of the things
-
of the Spirit. In Holy Ghost meetings, we see
-
two things. Number one, we see the teaching of
-
God's word. And number two, we see the demonstrations
-
of the things, or you can put it, the manifestation
-
of the things of the Spirit. In Holy Ghost meetings,
-
we see first of a necessity and a priority, the
-
teaching of God's word. And secondly, we see
-
room given or the Holy Ghost allowed to demonstrate
-
or manifest himself. So why should we give room
-
Because the teaching of God's word gives birth
-
to every experience we see in the spirit. Hallelujah.
-
The teaching of God will do what? Will give birth
-
to what? Will give opportunity for every experience
-
or manifestation we see. Amen. So Acts chapter
Acts 10 chapter mention
-
10 now everybody. Let's read the scriptures.
-
Acts chapter 10 verse 34 to 46. So it's going
-
to be a long reading. We're going to read it.
-
Please don't be showing scriptures. I want everybody
-
to read his Bible. Please. Just help me, right?
-
I love you. Everybody go into your Bible. Acts
-
chapter 10 verse 34. Acts chapter 10 verse 34.
-
Let's read. Then Peter opened his what? Then
-
Peter what? Then Peter what? Say in the Holy
-
Ghost meeting. In the Holy Ghost meeting, I always
-
open my mouth and the Spirit of God moves through
-
me. Yes. Then Peter opened his mouth and what?
-
And said, you're going to see why. Of a truth
-
I perceive that God is no respecter of what?
-
Of persons. But in every nation he that feareth
-
him and walketh righteousness is accepted with
-
him. The word which God sent unto the children
-
of Israel. Preaching peace by Jesus Christ, he
-
is Lord of all. That word, I say ye, I say, ye
-
know which was published throughout all Judea
-
and began from Galilee after the baptism which
-
John preached. How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth
-
with what? With the Holy Ghost and with power
-
who went about doing good and healing all that
-
were oppressed of what? Of the devil for God
-
was what? 38, again, let's read together. One,
-
two, go. How God anointed Jesus Christ with what
-
of Nazareth? With what? Holy Spirit and with
-
what? Say, I have the Spirit of God. I have the
-
power of God. I have the Spirit of God. I have
-
the power of God. I go about. I go about doing
-
good. I go about preaching the gospel and healing
-
all that are oppressed of the devil. For God
-
is with me. And we are witnesses of all things
-
which he did, both in the land of the Jews and
-
in Jerusalem, whom they slew and hanged on the
-
tree. Him God raised up the third day and showed
-
him openly, not to all the people, but unto witnesses
-
chosen before of God, even to us. He was speaking
-
about himself now. Who did eat and drink with
-
him after he rose from the dead. And he commanded
-
us to preach. Hallelujah. And he commanded us
-
to what? To preach. And he commanded us to what?
-
See why Peter is making emphasis on that now.
-
Unto the people and to testify that it is he
-
which was ordained of God to be the daughter
-
of the quick and the dead for the dream. To him
-
give all the prophets what? Witness that through
-
his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive
-
remission of what? Sins. While Peter yet what?
-
Speak. The people started laughing. Is that what
-
your scripture says? While Peter yet spake these
-
words. What happened? What happened? So what
-
gave opportunity for the move of the Holy Ghost?
-
Huh? Talk now. This is a classroom. What gave
-
opportunity for the move of the Holy Ghost? Huh?
-
The what, my sister? Touch her, touch her. Yes,
-
what gave opportunity for the move of the Holy
-
Ghost? The Word. He was teaching. Hallelujah.
-
He was teaching. The Holy Ghost now began to
-
move. Fell on all of them which did what? Had
-
the Word. All of them that were there, the Spirit
-
of the Lord did what? Fell upon them. 44, 45.
-
And they of the circumcision which believed were
-
astonished. And as many came with Peter, because
-
that on the Gentiles also was poured out the
-
gift of what? Of the Holy Ghost. See 46. For
-
they heard them. With what? How did they hear
-
them? They heard them with what? With tongues.
-
What were they saying with tongues? And magnified
-
God then answered what? Peter. Teaching was coming.
-
Teaching, teaching, teaching, teaching. What
-
was the thing that Peter was preaching? The previous
-
verses. As he was teaching, he didn't change
-
the message. He didn't say there is going to
-
be one spectacular power that is going to come.
-
What was he talking about? He was talking about
-
the death, burial and what? The resurrection
-
of Jesus Christ. He said, while he yet spake.
-
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
-
Right? Romans chapter 1. Let's read it together.
Romans 1 chapter mention
-
We need to read it together. So that you will
-
know. There is no any kind of special message
-
you need to preach for the Holy Ghost to come
-
upon people. Hallelujah. Same message. Romans
Romans 1 chapter mention
-
chapter 1. Verse 16. For I am not ashamed of
-
the gospel of Jesus Christ. For it is the power
-
of God unto salvation. To what? To everyone that
-
what? Believe it to the Jew first and also to
-
what? To the Greek. There is no special kind
-
of message you preach for the Holy Ghost to move.
-
No. Same message. The death, burial, and what?
-
Resurrection of Jesus. Same message that gets
-
people saved. It's same message that gets people
-
filled with the Holy Ghost. It's same message
-
that causes the manifestation and the demonstration
-
of things of the Holy Ghost through their lives.
-
Same message, sir. There is no another kind of
-
message again. You know, I think, you know, because
-
I was just telling them how Jesus died and rose
-
again, that is why I think the Spirit did not
-
move. No. That is what, that is actually what
-
makes the Spirit move. Hallelujah. Praise God.
-
Hallelujah. Hallelujah. So we see, the speaking
-
of the word, The teaching of the Word, which
-
will not go back to it now, brought about the
-
demonstrations of the Spirit. Nothing more. All
-
that had the Word, the Spirit of God, fell upon
-
them. In catatismus, what will be happening is,
-
as we are hearing the Word, the Spirit of the
-
Lord will be falling upon people. We're going
-
to see people feel much more with the Spirit
-
of God. We're going to see demonstrations of
-
things of the Spirit like no other day that we
-
have seen. We're going to see convictions stirred
-
up much more. We're going to see people see by
-
the Spirit of God. We're going to see people
-
hear by the Spirit of God. We're going to see
-
people heal instantly by the Spirit of God. The
-
teaching of those words. Nothing more. You see,
-
if you understand what I just said now, you will
-
stop running from church A to church B, to church
-
C, to church 3. That is why you keep following
-
majors, majors, majors, majors everywhere. Your
-
life is still a minor. The Lord will give you
-
understanding. Stay where you are and grow. Tell
-
your friend, stay where you are and grow. Stay
-
in NECF and grow. Please tell the person there
-
is nothing you are looking outside for there.
-
Yes. Oh, let me say this now as it's coming to
-
my heart now by the Spirit of God. All that you
-
need as a believer, you'll find it in this local
-
church. You know, I was talking to someone some
-
last two weeks. She said, sir, you know, why
-
me? I said, but we have not been seeing you in
-
church. We have not been seeing you in cell meetings.
-
We have not been seeing you in this. She said,
-
sir, every time I come around, I feel people
-
are judging me. I said, actually, your feelings
-
are valid. But... You see, this judgment, we
-
have to give it a context. Are they judging you
-
or you feel judged? She said, I actually feel
-
judged. I said, so what did you do to prove them
-
that this feeling is not true? She said, I did
-
not say anything. So I said, so where have you
-
been that we have not seen you? She said, I'm
-
attending this church. Definitely I will not
-
tell you people their name. I said, so since...
-
you enter that place. You know, because she shared
-
a problem with me and the problem was that when
-
she, there are certain people, I will not call
-
names definitely, there are some people in this
-
church that when she sees their life, when they
-
talk about Jesus, they talk about Jesus out of
-
conviction and they don't talk about Jesus out
-
of duty. And I ask her, have you gone to meet
-
them and then they tell you they are before and
-
now? Do you know that they came to this place
-
worse than you? But you see, that thing you call
-
duty is actually what makes it works. That feeling,
-
now that you moved to that place, so far, have
-
you feel any kind of this thing? She said, not
-
yet, nothing. I told her, I said, you will never
-
see it. I know what, I took her to 2 Timothy,
2 Timothy 4 chapter mention
-
chapter 4. He said, you know, a time will come,
-
they will heap for themselves. false teachers
-
with itching ears. They would be jumping around.
-
When she read it, she shouted. I said, I didn't
-
say it. You read it. And you know, she caught
-
herself and read Amplified. So I now said, having
-
said all these things, what will you do? She
-
says, I will go and pray. I said, no, you don't
-
pray about a church to be part of. The scripture
-
has answered your prayers on which local church
-
to be part of. See, if you're hearing me here,
-
never pray about a church to join. Never. The
-
church to join has been defined in the word.
-
Your prayers have been answered. You just have
-
been praying for two months. Where? You're lying.
-
It's just that you don't know. Find a church.
-
Where God's word is giving much more credence.
-
Find a church where prayers is giving much more
-
credence. Find a church where you are encouraged.
-
Let me say this hard now. Find a church where
-
they are on your neck to serve God as a duty.
-
That is how you grow. Our mothers are here. They
-
will tell you. Yesterday I was with Pastor Victor.
-
One of his babies is finding difficulty to this
-
season. But... Imagine now, she says she will
-
not eat. What will you do? She must eat. You
-
don't negotiate your growth in Jesus. It's God's
-
responsibility for you as a believer to do what?
-
To grow. Every responsible father wants to see
-
his sons and daughters do what? Grow. You become
-
an issue if you're not growing. However, since
-
then I've not seen her around. Maybe she's still
-
praying. I'll give her some additional one week.
-
And then I'll call her again. Tell your friend,
-
don't run away from church. Because you feel
-
judged. Now say this now. If you feel judged,
-
it's because you are guilty. Yes. It's a word
-
for somebody. So. Holy Ghost meetings, what gives
-
back to demonstrations is what? Teaching of God's
-
Word. Amen? So now the second thing we see, the
-
first thing we see is what? The Word of God is
-
giving what? Is giving place first. Do you know
-
why? Because the Spirit of God has been given
-
to us so that we can become speaking spirits.
-
The Spirit of God. So what the teaching of God's
-
word will do to us is that the teaching of God
-
will reveal to us our identity in Christ. That
-
the teaching of God's word will unveil to us
-
to know that we are what? Speaking what? Spirits.
-
Oh boy, we change things by words in this kingdom.
-
We speak. We speak life. We speak life. We speak
-
life. Speak life. Speak life. Speak life. When
-
something is not going right, we speak life.
-
We bring order to every chaos around. See, I'm
-
a speaking spirit because the Spirit of God dwells
-
in me. Yes. He's a speaking spirit. So the demonstrations
-
of the gifts of the Spirit are a product of speakings.
-
Yes. 1 Corinthians 12, verse 3. So that we'll
-
see scriptures now. So while Peter yet speak,
-
imagine Peter was there and he refused to speak.
-
Do you think anything will happen? Oh, I just
-
got this now in my heart. When we come much more,
-
all these weeks that are coming ahead of us into
-
Carthaginus, learn to speak. Because by speaking,
-
things will begin to happen. Because by speaking,
-
you will see the supernatural. Because by speaking,
-
order will be set in places where there are chaos.
-
Yes. 1 Corinthians now, chapter 12, verse 3.
-
See. Please pay attention to that verse. Wherefore,
-
I give you to understand. No man by keeping quiet
-
by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accost. Please
-
pay attention. Verse 3, everybody. Wherefore,
-
I give you to understand that no man, by keeping
-
quiet by the Spirit of God, calleth Jesus a ghost.
-
No man what? No man what? How does the man speak?
-
By what? By the Spirit of what? Of God. And that
-
no man can say that Jesus is Lord, but by what?
-
When I was standing at the back there, he said,
-
if you can say that Jesus is Lord, then you can
-
say healing take place. If you can say Jesus
-
is Lord, then you can say eyes open. If you can
-
say Jesus is Lord, then you can say ears open.
-
If you can say Jesus is Lord, because the same
-
spirit that has worked in your heart to say Jesus
-
is Lord is the same spirit that is working in
-
you now to say eyes open, eyes to open. And this
-
son shall follow them that believe. In my name.
-
It's not another spirit. Same spirit. You will
-
have supernatural experiences every day. Hallelujah.
-
Praise God. Hallelujah. So God has given us a
-
spirit so that we can speak. No man can say.
-
by the Spirit of God. No man can speak by the
-
Spirit of God. No man. On Wednesday, by God's
-
grace, we're going to build on a short path.
-
And I believe from there, we're going to have
-
full understanding and instructions of what is
-
going to come in the Karatismos much more. Hallelujah.
-
Position yourself for this conference. Participate
-
in this conference. If it's in your power to
-
tell your boss to give you that one week, please
-
tell your boss and be around. Amen. Please do
-
all you can. This year is going to be different.
-
I know by the Spirit of God now. I know what
-
I'm saying now. I've seen it. I've seen it. Not
-
once, not twice. I've seen it. I'm praying about
-
it every day from last month till today. I've
-
been praying every day for this program. The
-
pastors have been praying every day for this
-
program. A prayer team are praying every day
-
for this program. So what will stop you from
-
praying for this conference? What will stop you
-
from preparing your hearts for this conference?
-
Can we rise to our feet? Desire the supernatural
-
in your life, in your family. As a husband, as
-
a wife, upon your children, upon your friends,
-
desire to see the supernatural. The Spirit of
-
God is speaking through us and is even doing
-
now. My hands, they heal my eyes. They see my
-
ears. They hear in the Holy Ghost. My hands,
-
they hear my ears. They see. One more time. My
-
eyes, they see me. Can you say, Lord, I have
-
supernatural experiences? I see supernatural
-
experiences. Can you declare it? Can you declare
-
it? Can you declare it? Can you declare it? The
-
Spirit of God is a speaking Spirit. And that's
-
the Spirit that is within you. I hear you by
-
the Spirit of God. I prophesy by the Spirit of
-
God. I see by the Spirit of God. I bring direction
-
to my friends. I bring so much of the abilities
-
of the Holy Ghost. Much more. We appreciate you
-
being here today. We hope you carry this word
-
with you throughout your week. Don't forget to
-
check the show notes for additional insights.
