  1. Welcome to NECF. We're thrilled you're here.

  2. Make sure to stay with us till the end, where

  3. we'll share some great resources to deepen your

  4. faith. Now, let's dive into this week's sermon.

  5. Amen. Exodus chapter 33. Exodus 33. Please, let's

    Exodus 33 chapter mention

  6. pay attention. Verse 18. And he said, give me

  7. New King James. And he said, please, show me

  8. your glory. Show me your glory. Show me your

  9. glory. What is the glory of God? There's something

  10. so much that... Moses desire, he desire to see

  11. the glory of God. What is this glory of God?

  12. What is this glory of God? Now, the word glory

  13. in Hebrew is the word kabod. K -A -B -O -D. Kabod.

  14. K -A -B -O -D. And it's used in the scriptures

  15. for a plethora of things, for many things. It

  16. can refer to wealth, riches. It also means an

  17. office or status. Splendor. Wealth, riches. It

  18. also means an office. Status or splendor. This

  19. was what Moses, he says, I want to see, he says,

  20. show me your glory, show me your glory. And we've

  21. said that this glory, you know, is not, Moses

  22. has seen, has walked in power, he has walked

  23. in the miraculous. So, when it comes to, you

  24. know, the miraculous and power, he has walked

  25. in it. And let's look at the response of God

  26. in verse 19. Verse 19. Then he said, I will make

  27. all my goodness pass before you and I'll proclaim

  28. the name of the Lord before you. I'll proclaim

  29. the name of the Lord before you. I will be gracious

  30. to whom I will be gracious. And I will have compassion

  31. on whom I will have compassion. So we will see

  32. the word goodness. Goodness meaning good things.

  33. Good things. God will make his good things pass

  34. before Moses. This means that Moses will see

  35. ahead of time. You know, proclaiming the name

  36. of the Lord has to do with the works of God.

  37. Has to do with what God will do. The name of

  38. the Lord refers to what God will do. His goodness

  39. has to do with, you know, what God will do. The

  40. good things that come from God. These good things

  41. include His graciousness. His mercy. His compassion.

  42. His graciousness and compassion. That is God's

  43. saving grace. God will make Moses to see ahead

  44. of time. In verse 20, God said, you cannot see

  45. my face. You cannot see what? You cannot see

  46. my face, for no man shall see my face and live.

  47. And oftentimes, this verse is translated that

  48. if you see God, you will die. If you see God

  49. face to face, what will happen to you? You will

  50. die because nobody, this verse is saying that

  51. nobody can see God and live. You cannot see my

  52. face and live. You cannot see my face. You cannot

  53. see my face. God said you cannot see my face.

  54. John wrote this in John chapter 1 verse 18. Let's

    John 1:18

  55. look at John chapter 1 verse 18. About seeing

    John 1:18

  56. the face of God. You cannot see my face. John

    John 1:18

  57. chapter 1 verse 18. It says no one has seen God

  58. at any time. That means nobody has seen God physically.

  59. At any time. Amen. Nobody has seen the face of

  60. God. Physically at any time. No one has seen

  61. the face of God. Physically at any time. But

  62. who? The only begotten son. Whom is in the bosom

  63. of the father. He has declared him. So has anyone

  64. seen God? Physically at this moment? No. Right?

  65. Physically, no one has seen God. But how only

  66. the begotten son has seen him. This means that

  67. the only agency by which we can see God is in

  68. Christ. Hallelujah. The only means by which we

  69. can see God is who is in Christ. So the word

  70. my face or the word face is a Hebrew word panim.

  71. P -A -N -I -M. P -A -N -I -M. Which is used for

  72. physical appearance. Is used for physical appearance.

  73. So, what Moses was asking for is that he wants

  74. to see God in the flesh. What Moses is asking

  75. of God in verse 18 is that he wants to see God

  76. in the physical form. As a man. He's aware by

  77. his dealings with God that God will become a

  78. man. Right from the writings we see even in Genesis

    Genesis 1 chapter mention

  79. chapter 1, you know, verse 1, you see an idea

  80. that Moses already have about what God wants

  81. to do. That is, God will manifest himself in

  82. man. So this is what Moses was yearning to see.

  83. He wants to see God physically. He has seen God

  84. in visions. He has had encounters of visions.

  85. He has had God speak to him and in different

  86. ways, but now he wants to see God how? He wants

  87. to see God physically. Now from the phrase, no

  88. man shall see me and live, does not mean that

  89. when you see God, you will die. That's not what

  90. it means. As I said, this has been wrongly interpreted

  91. oftentimes. The word or the phrase unleaf are

  92. translated from the Hebrew word, let me spell

  93. it, H -A rather, H -A -Y -A. H -A -Y -A. It means

  94. kept alive. It means to be kept alive. It means

  95. to be kept alive. The phrase unleaf means to

  96. be kept alive. Same is used in Genesis chapter

    Genesis 3:22

  97. 3 verse 22. Genesis chapter 3 verse 22. Where

    Genesis 3:22

  98. that word is used, the Lord said, Behold, the

  99. man has become like one of us to know good and

  100. evil. And now unless he put out his hand and

  101. take also of the fruit, the tree of life, and

  102. eat, And live forever. That's the way it is.

  103. And live forever. To be kept alive. And live

  104. forever. Also in Exodus chapter 1 verse 16. Exodus

    Exodus 1:16 Exodus 1:16

  105. chapter 1 verse 16. And he said. When you do

  106. the duties. Please. Let the verses be there.

  107. And he said, when you do the duties of a midwife

  108. for the Hebrew woman and see them on a bedstool,

  109. if it is a son, then you shall kill him. But

  110. if it is a daughter, then she shall what? She

  111. shall live to be kept alive. That's where that

  112. word is also used in the scriptures. So the way

  113. it is translated, it shouldn't be no man shall

  114. see my face. And what? And live, but it should

  115. be rather no man shall see my face and not be

  116. kept alive. Do you understand what I did here?

  117. No man shall what? The word there is kept alive,

  118. to be kept alive. To be kept alive. No man shall

  119. see my face and not be kept alive. Because when

  120. you see God, what happens to you? You have life.

  121. Hallelujah. When you see God, we see Moses teaching

  122. that in Numbers 21 verse 9. We saw it earlier

    Numbers 21:9

  123. on Numbers 21 verse 9. You also see Moses using

    Numbers 21:9

  124. this concept. So Moses made a bronze serpent

  125. and put it on a pole. So it was, if a serpent

  126. had bitten anyone, when he what? When he look.

  127. All right? This is Moses' teaching. When he look

  128. at a bronze serpent, he will do what? He will

  129. live to be kept alive. At what? At looking at

  130. the serpent, he will be kept alive. That is where

  131. Jesus made reference to, in John 3, verse 14

    John 3:14–15

  132. to 15, making reference to the idea of looking

  133. and being kept alive. John chapter 3, verse 14

    John 3:14

  134. and 15. And Moses, as Moses lifted up the serpent

  135. in the wilderness, even so, Moses, son of man,

  136. believed it up, that whoever believes in him

  137. should not perish but have everlasting life.

  138. So looking simply means believing and being kept

  139. alive. When you look, and then you live. Hallelujah.

  140. You look, and you live. So Moses wanted to see

  141. the glory of God. That is, God manifested in

  142. the flesh. He wanted to see the fulfillment of

  143. God's promise. God becoming a man. But God said,

  144. not yet. Amen? Because it is not yet time. It

  145. is not yet time. This is what the scripture says

  146. about the prophets. The prophets of all. They

  147. long to see this day. They long to see this particular

  148. event. Luke chapter 10 verse 23. Luke chapter

    Luke 10:23 Luke 10:23

  149. 10 verse 23. The prophets that wrote in the old

  150. times. They long to see this particular event.

  151. That was what Moses was longing to see. Then

  152. he turned to his disciples and said privately.

  153. Bless the eyes. Blessed are the eyes which see

  154. things you see. For I tell you that many prophets,

  155. which prophets? The prophets that are in the

  156. prophets, the Moses, the prophets, and the kings,

  157. King David, and others. For I tell you that many

  158. prophets and kings have desired, have desired

  159. to see what you see. What did they see? They

  160. see the Messiah physically. They see God in his

  161. physical appearance. They long to see God. They

  162. long to see him manifested in the flesh because

  163. they have prophesied. By revelation, God has

  164. helped them to know that God will become man.

  165. Isaiah will speak about the humanity of God becoming

  166. a man. Daniel will speak about it. We saw yesterday.

  167. God will become man. They long to see and have

  168. not seen it. And to hear what you hear and not

  169. heard it. 1 Peter chapter 1 verse 10. Peter will

    1 Peter 1:10

  170. make reference to this same. 1 Peter chapter

    1 Peter 1:10

  171. 1 verse 10. Of this salvation, the prophets have

  172. inquired and searched carefully. Who prophesied

  173. of the grace that will come to you? Searching

  174. what? Searching what? Or what manner of time?

  175. They were looking for what time is it that this

  176. will happen? The salvation is about God becoming

  177. a man. The manifestation of God in the flesh

  178. for the salvation of mankind. Searching or what

  179. manner of time the spirit of Christ who was in

  180. them was indicating. We've explained this. We

  181. said the spirit of Christ was what? Was on them,

  182. right? Because at this moment, Christ, The spirit

  183. of Christ cannot live in them because these have

  184. not yet been glorified. So the spirit of Christ

  185. who was on them was indicating when he testified

  186. beforehand the suffering of Christ. How did it?

  187. He testified to the prophets concerning the sufferings

  188. of the Christ and the glories that will follow.

  189. To them it was revealed, not to themselves, but

  190. to us. They were ministering the things. which

  191. now have been reported to you through those who

  192. have preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit

  193. sent from heaven, things which angels desire

  194. to look into. Angels desire to look into. From

  195. this day that he encouraged them, he says, therefore,

  196. ride up. The loins of your mind be sober and

  197. rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to

  198. be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus

  199. Christ. Hebrews 11 verse 13. This is what Moses

    Hebrews 11:13

  200. longed to see. God manifested. He longed to see

  201. God in the flesh. These all died in faith. Who

  202. are these people that all died in faith? All

  203. the men that have lived before our time, they

  204. all died in faith, not having received the promises.

  205. So it was a promise in the writings of the prophets.

  206. It was a promise that the Messiah would come.

  207. It was a promise that God would become a man.

  208. But having seen them afar, Moses was able to

  209. see from afar. God was able to reveal to Moses

  210. by revelation. They see afar. Having seen them

  211. afar of where I showed of them. Abraham saw from

  212. afar. Isaac saw from afar. Jacob from afar. They

  213. all saw by revelation what God will do. Similar

  214. with Joseph and all the prophets. Embrace them

  215. and confess that they were strangers and pilgrims

  216. on the earth. For those who say such things declare

  217. plainly that they seek a homeland. And truly,

  218. if they have called to mind that country from

  219. which they had come out, they will have had opportunity

  220. to return. But now they desire something better.

  221. That is a heavenly country. So what they saw

  222. was what? Was the resurrection reality. The kingdom

  223. of God. The real promised land. He says something

  224. better. They desire a better. Therefore God is

  225. not ashamed to be called their God. For he has

  226. prepared a city for them. This city is not an

  227. earthly city. God showed them something. But

  228. they never received it while they were alive.

  229. We see John testifying also of seeing the glory

  230. of God. John chapter 1. John chapter 1 verse

John 1 chapter mention John 1 chapter mention

  231. 1. It says in the beginning was the world and

  232. the world was with God and the world was God.

  233. Verse 2. He was in the beginning with God. Now

  234. jump to verse 14. He was in the beginning with

  235. God. Verse 14. And the world became what? The

  236. world became flesh and dwell among us. And what

  237. happened? and we beheld his glory. Does it look

  238. familiar to what Moses was asking for? To see

  239. the glory, the glory of God? It says, and the

  240. flesh, that is the God that was in the beginning,

  241. became flesh and dwell amongst us. And we beheld

  242. his glory, the glory as of the only begotten

  243. of the Father, full of grace and truth. Full

  244. of grace. and truth. Moses desire to see this

  245. reality. He was hungry to see this fact, to see

  246. this reality. So, back to Exodus. Exodus 33.

  247. In verse 18. Look at Moses' request. He said,

  248. please show me your glory. And this is God's

  249. response. I will make my goodness to pass before

  250. you. and I will proclaim the name of the Lord

  251. before you. I will be gracious to whom I will

  252. be gracious, and I will have compassion on whom

  253. I will have compassion on, whom I will have compassion.

  254. But he said, you cannot see my face, for no man

  255. shall see my face and not live. And the Lord

  256. said, here is a place by me. and you shall stand

  257. on what? On the rock. Here is a place by me,

  258. and you shall stand on the rock. Verse 21. God

  259. says, here is a place by me. By me. Here is a

  260. place by me. So the word place there is a Hebrew

  261. word, makom. M -A -K -O -M. A place. Markham.

  262. Which means where to abide. It means an abode.

  263. An abode. Here in me is a place to abide. And

  264. it is the same word as mone in Greek. A dwelling.

  265. John chapter 14 verse 1 to 2. Let's see where.

    John 14:1–2

  266. John chapter 14 verse 1 and 2. It is the same

    John 14:1

  267. word used in John chapter 14, verse 1 to 2, but

    John 14:1–2

  268. in the Greek. It says, let not your heart be

  269. troubled. You believe in God, believe also in

  270. me. In my Father's house are many mansions, dwellings.

  271. If it were not so, I would have told you. Right?

  272. I go to prepare what? A place for you. This place,

  273. talking about in God, in Christ's reality. Hallelujah.

  274. So God for us says, you shall stand on the rock.

  275. You shall stand on the rock. You shall stand

  276. on the rock. Please, I'm taking this gently and

  277. slowly so that we will comprehend. Look at verse

  278. 21. And the Lord said, here is a place by me.

  279. We know what that place is, right? And you shall

  280. stand on the rock. You shall stand on the rock.

  281. Stand is the word natab. N -A -T -A -B. Which

  282. means to be founded upon. Does this sound familiar?

  283. To be founded upon. You shall be founded upon

  284. the rock. Right? It is the same thing as I will

  285. build upon. In Matthew 16 verse 18. Let's look

    Matthew 16:18

  286. at Matthew 16 verse 18. And on this rock I will

    Matthew 16:18

  287. build my church. I will build my church. On this

  288. rock I will build my church. Similar idea. Which

  289. means to be found upon. It is the same. I will

  290. build my church. I will build upon rather. These

  291. words were spoken ahead by Moses. What we see

  292. Jesus speaking as he always will say that. The

  293. words. That Jesus was speaking where the words

  294. that were already in scripture. And the prophets

  295. and men that have lived before have prophesied

  296. those words. They've said the things that Jesus

  297. will say. They've prophesied the things that

  298. Jesus will do. They've speak in promises what

  299. Jesus will accomplish. Verse 22. So it shall

  300. be while my glory pass by that I will put you

  301. in the cliff of the rock and will cover you with

  302. my hand while I pass by. Cover you with my hand

  303. while I pass by. Speaking of God's hand in salvation,

  304. the hand referring to God's hand in salvation.

  305. This describes God's salvation plan. It's a description

  306. of God's salvation plan. The rock. Moses called

  307. the rock salvation. He called the rock salvation.

  308. Deuteronomy chapter 32. Deuteronomy chapter 32.

Deuteronomy 32 chapter mention Deuteronomy 32 chapter mention

  309. Verse 3 and verse 4. For I proclaim the name

  310. of the Lord. Ascribe greatness to our God. He

  311. is what? He is what? He is the rock. Who is the

  312. rock? Who is the rock? Let's go back. For I proclaim

  313. the name of the Lord. What is the name of the

  314. Lord? The works of God, right? Ascribe greatness

  315. to our God. Continue. Verse 4. He is the rock.

  316. God is the rock. He is the rock. His work is

  317. perfect for all his ways are justice. A God of

  318. truth and without injustice. Righteous and upright

  319. is he. Look at verse 15 of that same Deuteronomy.

  320. Jump to verse 15. But Jeshurun grew fat and kicked.

  321. You grew fat, you grew thick, you are obese.

  322. Then he forsook God who made him and scornfully

  323. esteemed, who? Scornfully esteemed what? The

  324. rock of his salvation. Scornfully esteemed the

  325. rock of his salvation. He called the rock salvation,

  326. right? He called the rock salvation. The rock

  327. of his salvation. The rock of his salvation.

  328. So in Matthew 16 verse 18, Jesus said, upon this

    Matthew 16:18

  329. rock, I will build my church. Meaning that upon

  330. salvation, meaning that at salvation, meaning

  331. that at the resurrection, what will happen? He

  332. will establish his church. Upon salvation, he

  333. will establish his church. Salvation is in a

  334. person. Salvation is a person. Salvation is in

  335. Christ. Upon salvation, he will establish what?

  336. He will establish his church. He will establish

  337. his church. So, do we have clarity? What Moses

  338. was seeing, what Moses was speaking. So which

  339. church is Jesus talking about? Which church is

  340. Moses talking about? Where are we going to see

  341. the church? From Moses' writing, right? Which

  342. church is it that Jesus is talking about? Again,

  343. from Moses' vocabulary, the church is the word

  344. kahal. Kahal. Which means what? The assembly

  345. of Israel. The assembly of Israel in the writings

  346. of Moses. The assembly of Israel after the Exodus.

  347. We said this one week or two weeks ago about

  348. the will of God, right? And we said that the

  349. will of God is for an assembly. The deliverance

  350. of the people of Israel. To establish an assembly.

  351. An assembly of the men of Israel. And that assembly

  352. is where we got the word church from. Kahal.

  353. The word church. The assembly of God's people.

  354. And what was the purpose? That God will make

  355. known. His knowledge upon the face of the earth.

  356. He made them his assembly. And then the desire

  357. of God is that this assembly will be a kingdom

  358. of what? Of priests. Prophets. Kingdom of priests

  359. and prophets. Assembly of God. The church. Church

  360. becomes, the church is actually the kingdom of

  361. God. The church is what? The church is the kingdom

  362. of God. So we are in the kingdom of God. God

  363. is our king here. Hallelujah. So the church or

  364. the kingdom of God or the family of God, the

  365. people of God are a product of what? Of the resurrection

  366. of Jesus Christ. Are the product of the resurrection

  367. of Jesus Christ. Upon this rock, upon the salvation

  368. of men, upon the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

  369. The church is established. The family of God

  370. is established. The people of God, you know,

  371. are formed from the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

  372. That is where we got our identity. So if Jesus

  373. mentioned church, there is no church without

  374. the exodus. All right? There is no assembly without

  375. the exodus. The exodus simply means salvation.

  376. Exodus means deliverance. Exodus means redemption.

  377. For there to be a people of God, for there to

  378. be a people that God will name as his people,

  379. possession, there must be what? There must be

  380. a redemption. That was what God told Moses. To

  381. go to Egypt and do what? And deliver. Egypt therefore

  382. becomes a type of what? Of bondage in scriptures.

  383. Egypt refers to captivity. Egypt refers to sin.

  384. Pharaoh will be seen as Satan. It's a picture.

  385. Who hold and keep the people of God in captivity.

  386. And we see deliverance from Moses, the type of

  387. Jesus. Deliverance from Moses. Salvation. So

  388. that the kingdom of God will be established.

  389. So that God will have a special people. A priest.

  390. A people that are his own possession. A people

  391. that will declare the works of God. Upon this

  392. rock. Upon salvation. Upon this rock. I will

  393. build. I will establish. Those that come out

  394. of the world. Those that will come out of sin.

  395. Those that will come out of the bondage of Satan.

  396. Those that will be delivered from the culture.

  397. You know, Egypt has a culture, right? Egypt has

  398. a civilization. Egypt has a way of life that

  399. is not the will of God. So God's deliverance,

  400. because the people of God were kept under subjugation.

  401. They were kept under what? Captivity. They were

  402. slaves. They have no right of themselves. They

  403. have no freedom. So God is delivering them so

  404. that they will worship him in truth. So that

  405. they will worship him. So that they will have

  406. fellowship with God. So that God can inhabit

  407. his people. That is what we will see in the wilderness.

  408. God will come in the form of cloud to be with

  409. them. All this Moses was writing was a teaching.

  410. It was happened practically, but it's also a

  411. teaching. Hallelujah. It's a teaching of our

  412. reality today. It's a teaching concerning what

  413. God... Will do. In us. Egypt. Pharaoh. Is a typology

  414. for sin. Satan. And the world. And we see our

  415. deliverance. Our exodus. From sin. Our exodus

  416. from sin. From Satan. From the world. Now we

  417. have come out of the world. Amen. We that are

  418. born again, we that are believers, who have received

  419. the message of deliverance, who have put our

  420. trust in Jesus Christ, have been translated from

  421. the kingdom of darkness, which is Egypt, and

  422. then into the kingdom of God's marvelous light,

  423. where we enjoy fellowship with God and with fellow

  424. believers. We share. In unity. Hallelujah. We

  425. share in what? We share in oneness with God.

  426. And you see, Moses will tell them. That whenever

  427. they celebrate the Passover, right, they should

  428. do it in numbers, in a family. Right? And we've

  429. explained what the bread is. What is the bread?

  430. The Spirit of God. Meaning that we'll share in

  431. the fellowship of the Spirit together. Hallelujah.

  432. Meaning that we'll be in unity in Christ. That

  433. it's a family matter. It's a family matter. We

  434. have come out of the wall. We are the church

  435. of God. We are the church of God. We are the

  436. church of God. And you will say the gates of

  437. hell shall not prevail against it. Hades shall

  438. not prevail against it. So we are the church.

  439. The gate of hell shall not prevail against means

  440. that the church has overcome death. We've prevailed

  441. against death in Christ. We've died with him

  442. in baptism. Paul will explain that exodus, baptism

  443. by the Red Sea. Amen? And we are alive in Christ

  444. Jesus. We have come out of the world. We are

  445. the church of God. Moses saw ahead of time. He

  446. saw ahead. God was willing to show him. But he

  447. didn't enter. He didn't partake in it because

  448. it was not yet time. He didn't see God physically.

  449. But in Christ, we see God manifested. Hallelujah.

  450. We see God manifested. We see God revealed. We

  451. see God becoming a man, being revealed to us.

  452. Jesus is what? Jesus is the glory of God. Jesus

  453. is the glory. Of God. God be manifested in the

  454. flesh. And where does he lives? He lives in the

  455. believer. Alright. The glory of God. Is seen

  456. in Christ. And Christ lives in you and I. In

  457. the form. Through the Holy Spirit. Through the

  458. Holy Spirit. So, we can now read Matthew 18 with

  459. an understanding. Matthew 16, rather, with an

  460. understanding. That the rock here, right, that

  461. the rock here will be the rock that Moses spoke

  462. about. That the church here will be the church

  463. that Moses explained. And we'll see the reality

  464. today that we are the church. Hallelujah. Now

  465. in Colossians. Colossians chapter 9. Chapter

  466. 1 verse 9. Paul would say for this reason. For

  467. this reason. Since the day we heard of it, we

  468. do not cease to pray for you and to ask that

  469. you may be filled with the knowledge of his will

  470. in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. That

  471. you walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing him,

  472. being fruitful in every good work. In every good

  473. work. That is the desire of God that we become

  474. fruitful in every good work, increasing in the

  475. knowledge of God. Strengthen with all might according

  476. to his glorious power for all patience and long

  477. -suffering with joy, giving thanks to the Father

  478. who has qualified us. He has qualified you. He

  479. has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance

  480. in the light. We are no longer in darkness. We

  481. are no longer in Egypt. We've been qualified

  482. and we are in the light. Hallelujah. He has delivered

  483. us from the power of darkness. How did he deliver

  484. us? Through the Exodus. Through what Jesus has

  485. done. He has delivered us from the power of darkness.

  486. And he has conveyed us. Into the kingdom of the

  487. son of his love. He has brought us into the kingdom.

  488. Whose kingdom is it? The kingdom of the son.

  489. Of his love. In whom we have redemption. Through

  490. his spirit. The forgiveness of sins. Amen. Through

  491. his spirit. The forgiveness of sins. The blood

  492. is what? The blood is spirit. Do you agree with

  493. me? Have we explained this before? The blood

  494. is what? His spirit. Through his blood, through

  495. his spirit, the forgiveness of sins. He is the

  496. glory of God. Do you understand what I just did

  497. here? He is what? The image of the invisible

  498. God. He is the expression of God. In human form.

  499. Amen. He is God. Manifested in human form. Why?

  500. For our forgiveness. That is why God became man.

  501. We talked about it yesterday. Our redemption.

  502. For our redemption. He is the invisible. The

  503. image of the invisible God. The first born. Over

  504. all creation. For by him. All things were created.

  505. That are in heaven. And are on earth. Visible

  506. and invisible. Whether thrones or dominions.

  507. Or principalities. Or powers. All things were

  508. created through him. For him. And he is before

  509. all things. And in him all things consist. Verse

  510. 18. Look at verse 18. And he is the head of the

  511. body. Alright? He is our leader. He is our God.

  512. He is our father. He is the head of the church,

  513. of the body. What is the body? The body is a

  514. church. Who is the beginning? The firstborn.

  515. From the dead. That in all things. He may have

  516. preeminence. He may have. Dominion over. For

  517. it pleases the father. That in him. All the fullness.

  518. Should dwell. It is God's plan. That all the

  519. fullness. Of the Godhead be seen in Christ. And

  520. by him. Reconcile. All things to himself. Through

  521. Christ, reconciliation is made to God. And by

  522. him to reconcile all things to himself, by him,

  523. whether things on earth or things in heaven,

  524. having made peace through the blood of his cross.

  525. These things on heaven and things on earth, he's

  526. talking about people here. Then he brought you

  527. and me. Verse 21, you see the reconciliation?

  528. And you who were once, who once were what? Were

  529. cut off, were cursed, were alienated. And enemies

  530. were in the mind. Remember? The mind, the wise

  531. and the prudent of this world, where did they

  532. reject God? In their mind, in their thinking,

  533. in their thoughts, right? We are ones like them,

  534. alienated and enemies in our minds by wicked

  535. works. What is the work of God? To believe in

  536. Jesus. What is the works of Satan? To not believe.

  537. Disbelief. By wicked works. Wicked works is unbelief.

  538. Because everything that you see, That is, wickedness

  539. is a product of unbelief. So, wicked works. Yet,

  540. now he has what? He has reconciled us. He has

  541. brought us into a fellowship. So we are in that

  542. rock. Are we in that rock? Are we in that kingdom?

  543. Are we in salvation? Yes. He has reconciled us

  544. in the body of his flesh. In the body of his

  545. flesh. What is flesh? In Christ's reality. In

  546. the spirit, right? Through what? Through death.

  547. To present us holy and blameless. above reproach

  548. in his sight. So before God, we are what? We

  549. are holy. We are set apart. Set apart is for

  550. what? It's for a purpose. To be set apart is

  551. for a function. So we are set apart for God for

  552. a function. We are blameless. Okay? That is our

  553. truth about us. We are blameless. Above reproach.

  554. In his sight. There is no condemnation to us.

  555. We are perfect before God. Based on what Christ

  556. has done. In the flesh. In the spirit. In his

  557. sight. If indeed we continue on faith. Grounded

  558. and steadfast. And are not moved away. From the

  559. hope of the gospel. Which you heard. Which was

  560. preached. To every creator. Under heaven. Of

  561. which I, Paul, became what? Became a minister.

  562. Amen? Paul also experienced this and he became

  563. a minister of sin. What did we say was being

  564. a minister? A steward, right? A steward. A minister.

  565. Someone that serves, that ministers. Ministers

  566. the message. Verse 24, and I now rejoice in my

  567. suffering for you and fill up in my flesh what

  568. is lacking in the affliction of Christ for the

  569. sake of his body, which is a church. A church

  570. is the body of Christ, of which I became a minister,

  571. according to what? According to the administration

  572. from God, which was given to me for you. To fulfill

  573. the word of God. Verse 26. Word of God. The mystery.

  574. Which has been hidden from ages. Which was not

  575. disclosed to them. Which was not disclosed to

  576. them. The idea of God becoming man. A mystery.

  577. Which has been hidden from ages. From generations.

  578. But now. Has been revealed to who? To his saints.

  579. Who are his saints? We are his saints. From the

  580. resurrection. We are his saints. To them, God

  581. willed to make known. Hallelujah. Now, if you

  582. are sleeping, wake up. Open your eyes and look

  583. at your scripture. Verse 27. To them, God willed.

  584. To make known what? What are the riches? Do you

  585. remember we talked about good things? God said

  586. that he will make what? His goodness, right?

  587. To pass. The good things, the riches has to do

  588. with everything that is in salvation. Moses saw

  589. it. God showed him from afar, from a distance.

  590. And here it says, The mystery that has been hidden

  591. from ages and from generations, but now has been

  592. revealed to the saints. To them God willed to

  593. make known what are the riches of the glory,

  594. the riches of the glory of this mystery among

  595. the Gentiles. Stop and think. To them, God will

  596. to make known what are the riches of the glory

  597. of his mystery among the Gentiles. Who are the

  598. Gentiles? Huh? Unbelievers. So God's desire is

  599. to make known what? The riches of the glory.

  600. Of his mystery. Before the Gentiles. Which is

  601. what? Which is what? Which is Christ in you.

  602. The hope of glory. Amen. Which is God in man.

  603. Is Christ in you? Are we now in the glory of

  604. God? Amen? God desire to do what? To show himself

  605. through us to the world. He wants to show his

  606. splendor, his power, his authority, his riches

  607. through your life, through my life to this generation.

  608. The Gentiles are the unbelieving people of this

  609. generation. God's desire is to manifest his riches,

  610. to display his splendor in our generation through

  611. our lives. That is God's desire. He says to them,

  612. God will to make known. The next verse, verse

  613. 28. Him we what? How will you know? Him we preach.

  614. By preaching. By preaching. warning every man,

  615. and doing what? And teaching every man in all,

  616. what? Wisdom. Now, this is all wisdom here. Let's

  617. have context. All is not always all in the Bible.

  618. We know that, right? There's a context to every

  619. word, all. The context is the wisdom of God,

  620. the wisdom of the Spirit. Alright? In every man,

  621. in all the wisdom of God, that we may present

  622. every man furnished in Christ. Established in

  623. Christ. Founded on that rock. That is a perfection.

  624. Amen? That is a perfection. Every man perfect

  625. in Christ. Every man established in Christ. The

  626. perfection is that of Christ in Christ. It's

  627. on that rock. To this end, I what? I also labor,

  628. striving according to his working, which works

  629. in me mightily. That is why we labor. That is

  630. what we have been called unto. We've been called

  631. unto to do what? To labor mightily. To ensure

  632. that our generation, the Gentiles in our generation,

  633. come to the knowledge of this mystery. The mystery

  634. has been accomplished in us. And God's plan is

  635. to establish them also in this reality. That

  636. is why we are here in Catartismus. That is why

  637. we gather so that we will know, so that we will

  638. be equipped, so that we will be empowered to

  639. do what? To display the splendor of God, to display

  640. the glory of God, to display the works of God,

  641. to display what God has done, to proclaim what

  642. God has done. Hallelujah. That is the plan of

  643. God for us. That is the plan of God for everyone

  644. who believes. All of us who believe. He wants

  645. to display. He wants to make a display. And that

  646. is true preaching. Amen. That is true preaching.

  647. I wish we have much time. Could have seen how

  648. to manifest the kingdom. Could have seen how

  649. we will manifest the kingdom. You know? We manifest

  650. by binding and losing. Amen? Now, binding and

  651. losing is not... For those of you who have done

  652. it, we are in, what do you call it? We know what

  653. binding and losing is. Because he has given us

  654. access to that kingdom. He has given us the keys.

  655. He has given us authority. He has given us access

  656. into the kingdom. I don't know whether you have

  657. stayed up in your heart. I don't know whether

  658. you've seen what God wants to do with our lives.

  659. I don't know whether you've been brought into

  660. the plan of God, the desire of God, the purpose

  661. of God, what God wants to accomplish with us.

  662. See? The glory of God is not new Mercedes Benz,

  663. my brother and sister. Don't believe us have

  664. better cars than you, let me tell you. There

  665. are many ways you can get cars. Somebody can

  666. commit fraud and buy a better, a good car. Build

  667. beautiful houses. So when we say glory, we're

  668. not talking about suits, clothes. Oh, I can see

  669. glory. That's not the kind of glory we're talking

  670. about. Amen? Have we defined what the glory of

  671. God is? So what are you to show them? Are you

  672. to show them how rich you are? The unbelievers

  673. of this world, they have money. Amen? The unbelievers

  674. of this world, they have riches. The unbelievers

  675. of this world, they have certificates. The unbelievers

  676. of this world, they have the resources of this

  677. world as well. So that is not what you show to

  678. them. That is not what you show to them. You

  679. show to them the works of Christ. And I can assure

  680. you that it's a demonstration of the spirit and

  681. power. Through the miraculous, that is how we

  682. manifest. Amen? Through the miraculous power

  683. of the Holy Ghost. That is God's intention. And

  684. I see God bringing us to that level of knowledge.

  685. Pastors will teach us how to function in these

  686. gifts. Who display the glory through the gifts,

  687. the equipment that he has given us. We will see

  688. what we have in Christ. We will see how to be

  689. activated to function in this that we have in

  690. Christ. It is yours by right because you are

  691. in Christ. It is ours by right because we are

  692. in Christ. So the world must see Christ through

  693. our lives, through our ministry. Hallelujah.

  694. Through our ministry. Through our ministry. As

  695. I close, let me read Ephesians chapter 3. As

    Ephesians 3 chapter mention

  696. I close. Ephesians chapter 3. So I want you to

    Ephesians 3 chapter mention

  697. be expectant more. We are just starting. I just

  698. lay foundation. Believe me, God is about to do

  699. greater things in this place. Hallelujah. Say

  700. we are made for greater works. We are created

  701. for better works. For greater works. Hallelujah.

  702. It's going to be greater and better through our

  703. lives. Hallelujah. What I mean better means permanent.

  704. Amen. That is what God is going to use our lives

  705. to do. What you do in people's life is going

  706. to be better. It's going to be permanent. God

  707. is going to use you to put a mark in people's

  708. life that will be eternal. Amen? Your mission

  709. is an eternal mission. No riches can pay for

  710. what you are created to do. Hallelujah. That's

  711. God's work in us, through us. Eternal work of

  712. salvation. Paul will also say for this reason.

  713. Chapter 3 verse 1. Ephesians 3 verse 1. For this

    Ephesians 3:1

  714. reason. What reason? For which reason? Should

  715. we look at the reason? Let's look at the reason.

  716. Chapter 2 verse 19. So that we will read chapter

  717. 3 together. For what reason? Now, therefore,

  718. you are no longer strangers and foreigners. This

  719. is the reason. But fellow citizens, what? And

  720. members of what? Of God's family. Of God's, the

  721. household of God. Having been built on what?

  722. On the foundation of the apostles. Built on the

  723. rock. What is the foundation of the apostles?

  724. Jesus Christ. Is it a rock? Right? Having been

  725. built on the foundation of the apostles and the

  726. prophets, where did we see them? Let me ask this

  727. one now. Yes, this one is a good place to ask

  728. the question. Having been built on the foundation

  729. of the apostles and the prophets, which apostles

  730. and prophets are these? There will be edification,

  731. sir. Take note, Pastor Victor. Having been built.

  732. These are the New Testament in court, right?

  733. Apostles and prophets. Having been built on the

  734. foundation because they are the foundations,

  735. right? The foundation of the apostles and prophets.

  736. Jesus Christ himself. Meaning it is their message.

  737. Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone.

  738. Have we been talking about a rock, a corner,

  739. a stone? In whom the whole building, which building?

  740. Upon this rock I will build my, right? In whom

  741. the whole building being fitted together grows

  742. into what? A holy temple in the Lord. In whom

  743. you also are being built together for a dwelling

  744. place of God in the spirit. So this church is

  745. what? Is in the spirit. My brothers and sisters,

  746. this church is spirit. Amen? In fact, put church

  747. equals to spirit. That is the formula. You are

  748. spiritual. Amen? We are spiritual. We are spiritual,

  749. but we are on earth. Heaven on earth. The kingdom

  750. of God manifested where? On earth. Hallelujah.

  751. For this reason, now we've known the reason,

  752. right? We've seen the reason. For this reason,

  753. I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus, for you,

  754. gentiles, indeed, if you have heard of this dispensation

  755. of the grace of God, dispensation means administration,

  756. not dispensationalism. Okay? Dispensation here

  757. is what? I asked somebody about what dispensation?

  758. The person read Ephesians 3 verse 2. So I have

    Ephesians 3:2

  759. to correct it. Even if you have heard of the

  760. dispensation of the grace of God, which was given

  761. to me for you. The dispensation means what? The

  762. stewardship of the grace of God. The administration

  763. of the grace of God. The leadership of the grace

  764. of God that you have. How that by revelation

  765. he made known to me the mystery as I have briefly

  766. written already. Okay? By which when you read,

  767. you may understand my knowledge in the mystery

  768. of Christ, which in other ages was not made known

  769. to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed

  770. by the Spirit to his holy apostles and prophets.

  771. New Testament apostles and prophets. That a Gentile

  772. should be fellow heirs of the same body and partakers

  773. of his promise in Christ through the gospel.

  774. Okay. Of which I became a minister according

  775. to the gift of the grace of God given to me by

  776. the effective working of his power. To me, who

  777. am less than the least. Of all the... Of all

  778. the saints, this grace was given that I should

  779. preach among the Gentiles the word... Look at

  780. what they call it. Is there another word for

  781. this? Is there any translation? Unsearchable

  782. riches of Christ. Any translation? NLT, what

  783. does it say? Endless treasures. Where is these

  784. treasures located? In the spirit. Endless treasures.

  785. It's not money in the bank. Sorry, if you are

  786. looking for that treasure there. Though, yes,

  787. okay, okay, okay, yes. I was choosing, go back,

  788. go back. I love this NLT. Go back to that NLT.

  789. I love the way it says. See, I was choosing to

  790. explain. Correct. Everyone, this mysterious plan

  791. that God, the creator of all things, has kept

  792. secret from the beginning. Let's read it in NLT.

  793. God's purpose. It's plainer. It's much more clearer.

  794. It's more explained. God's purpose in all this

  795. was to use where? Hello? What's God's plan? To

  796. use who? Who is the church? Who is the church?

  797. I am the church. You are the church. You are

  798. built on the rock. Hallelujah. God's purpose

  799. in all this was to use the church to do what?

  800. To display his wisdom in his rich variety to

  801. all the unseen rulers. Huh? Who are the unseen

  802. rulers? Rulers, authorities, in the heavenly

  803. places. I don't like places. Just say in the

  804. heavenly. This was his eternal plan. Hallelujah.

  805. Now he has carried it out through Jesus Christ,

  806. our Lord. Amen. Because of Christ and our faith

  807. in him, we can now boldly and confidently, we

  808. can now come boldly and confidently into God's

  809. presence. We are already in God's presence. You

  810. don't go out of God's presence. We are already

  811. in God's presence, right? So please, don't lose

  812. heart because of my trials. He's speaking to

  813. them. I am suffering for you, so you should be

  814. honored. You should feel honored. When I think

  815. of all these things, I fall on my knees and I

  816. pray to the Father, the creator of everything

  817. in heaven and on earth. What is his prayer? I

  818. pray from his glorious unlimited resources. He

  819. will empower you with inner strength through

  820. his spirit. Hallelujah. Then Christ will make

  821. his home in your hearts and you trust him as

  822. you trust in him. Your roots, will grow down

  823. into God's love and keep you strong. And may

  824. you have the power to understand, as all God's

  825. people should know, how wide, talking about the

  826. riches, how long, how high, how deep is his love.
