Welcome to NECF. We're thrilled you're here.
-
Make sure to stay with us till the end, where
-
we will share some great resources to deepen
-
your faith. Now, let's dive into this week's
-
sermon. Amen. Therefore, living the discussion
-
of the elementary principles of Christ, Let us
-
go on to perfection. Not laying again the foundation
-
of repentance from dead works and of faith toward
-
God. Verse 2. And of the doctrine of baptisms
-
and of the laying of hands. Verse 18. And he
-
said, give me New King James. And he said, please,
-
show me your glory. Show me your glory. Show
-
me your glory. What is the glory of God? laying
-
of what? Hence. I remember Pastor Fred taught
-
us some times ago on the doctrine of sin. There's
-
something so much that Moses desire. He desire
-
to see the glory of God. What is this glory of
-
God? What is this glory of God? Now, The word
-
glory in Hebrew is the word kabod. K -A -B -O
-
-D Kabod. K -A -B -O -D And it's used in the
-
scriptures for a plethora of things, for many
-
things. D -I -D -A -C -H -E Can refer to wealth,
-
riches. That's the word doctrine. It also means
-
an office or status. Splendor. Wealth, riches.
-
It also means an office, status or splendor.
-
This was what Moses, he says, I want to see,
-
he says, show me your glory, show me your glory.
-
And we've said that this glory, you know, is
-
not... Moses has seen, has walked in power, he
-
has walked in the miraculous. So, when it comes
-
to, you know, the miraculous and power, he has
-
walked in it. And let's look at the response
-
of God in verse 19. Verse 19. He said, I will
-
make all my goodness pass before you and I'll
-
proclaim the name of the Lord before you. I'll
-
proclaim the name of the Lord before you. I will
-
be gracious to whom I will be gracious. And I
-
will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.
-
So we will see the word goodness. Goodness. Meaning
-
good things. Good things. God will make his good
-
things pass before Moses. This means that Moses
-
will see ahead of time. You know, proclaiming
-
the name of the Lord has to do with the works
-
of God, has to do with what God will do. The
-
name of the Lord refers to what God, you know,
-
what God will do. His goodness has to do with,
-
you know, what God will do. The good things that
-
come from God. These good things include his
-
graciousness, his mercy, his compassion, his
-
graciousness and compassion. That is God's saving
-
grace. God will make Moses to see ahead of time.
-
In verse 20, God said, you cannot see my face.
-
You cannot see what? You cannot see my face.
-
For no man shall see my face and live. And oftentimes,
-
this verse is translated that if you see God,
-
you will die. If you see God face to face, what
-
will happen to you? You die because nobody, this
-
verse is saying that nobody can see God and live.
-
And why were they astonished? They say, for he
-
taught them as one having what? Authority and
-
not as a what? You cannot see my face. God said
-
you cannot see my face. Between what he taught
-
and what... John wrote this in John chapter 1
-
verse 18. Let's look at John chapter 1 verse
-
18. About seeing the face of God. You cannot
-
see my face. John chapter 1 verse 18. It says
-
no one has seen God at any time. That means nobody
-
has seen God physically at any time. Amen. Nobody
-
has seen the face of God physically at any time.
-
Then, No one has seen the face of God physically
-
at any time. But who? The only begotten son whom
-
is in the bosom of the father. He has declared
-
him. So has anyone seen God physically at this
-
moment? No. Physically no one has seen God. But
-
how only did the begotten son have seen him?
-
This means that the only agency by which we can
-
see God is in Christ. Hallelujah. The only means
-
by which we can see God is in Christ. So the
-
word my face or the word face is a Hebrew word
-
panim. P -A -N -I -M. P -A -N -I -M. Which is
-
used for physical appearance. is used for physical
-
appearance. So what Moses was asking for is that
-
he wants to see God in the flesh. But Jesus was
-
communicating something. What Moses is asking
-
of God in verse 18 is that he wants to see God
-
in the physical form as a man. He's aware by
-
his dealings with God that God will become a
-
man. Right from the writings we see even in Genesis
Genesis 1 chapter mention
-
chapter 1. Verse 1, you see, an idea that Moses
-
already has about what God wants to do. That
-
is, God will manifest himself in man. So this
-
is what Moses was yearning to see. He wants to
-
see God physically. He has seen God in visions.
-
He has had encounters of visions. He has had
-
God speak to him in different ways. But now he
-
wants to see God how? He wants to see God physically.
-
Now from the phrase no man shall see me and live
-
does not mean that when you see God you will
-
die. That's not what it means. As I said, this
-
has been wrongly interpreted oftentimes. The
-
word, or the phrase, and leave are translated
-
from the Hebrew word, let me spell it, H -A rather,
-
H -A -Y -A. H -A -Y -A. It means kept alive.
-
It means to be kept alive. It means to be kept
-
alive. The phrase, and live. Beware. Means to
-
be kept alive. Look at 22 again. Let me read
-
22. That same is in 22. Same is used in Genesis
-
chapter 3, verse 22. Matthew 22, verse 33. Genesis
-
chapter 3, verse 22. Matthew 22, 33. And when
-
the multitude heard this, they were astonished
-
at his teaching. To no good and evil. But remember,
-
this is the same text that the Pharisees were
-
using. And now unless he put out his hand and
-
take also of the fruit, the tree of life and
-
eat and live forever. That's the way it is. And
-
live forever. To be kept alive. And live forever.
-
Also in Exodus chapter 1 verse 16. Exodus chapter
-
1 verse 16. The same word is used in 2 Timothy.
-
Go to 2 Timothy 4. 2 Timothy 4 verse 2. When
-
you do the duties. Please, let the verses be
-
there. So that we will see it also in the way
-
it was rendered. Don't forget, he's talking about
-
a mode of teaching, different. And he said, when
-
you do the duties of a midwife for the Hebrew
-
woman and see them on a birthstool, if it is
-
a son, then you shall kill him. But if it is
-
a daughter, then she shall live. to be kept alive.
-
That's where that word is also used in the scriptures.
-
So, the way it is translated, it shouldn't be
-
no man shall see my face and what? And leave.
-
But it should be rather no man shall see my face
-
and not be kept alive. Do you understand what
-
I did here? No man shall what? The word there
-
is kept alive, to be kept alive. To be kept alive.
-
No man shall see my face and not be kept alive.
-
Because when you see God, what happens to you?
-
You have life. Hallelujah. When you see God,
-
we see Moses teaching that in Numbers 21 verse
-
9. We saw it earlier in Numbers 21 verse 9. You
-
also see Moses using this concept. So Moses made
-
a bronze serpent and put it on a pole. So it
-
was, if a serpent had bitten anyone, When he
-
what? When he look. Alright? This is Moses' teaching.
-
When he look at the bronze serpent, he will do
-
what? He will live to be kept alive. At what?
-
At looking at the serpent, he will be kept alive.
-
That is what Jesus made reference to in John
-
chapter 3 verse 14 to 15. Making reference to
-
the idea of looking and being kept alive. John
-
chapter 3 verse 14 and 15. And Moses, as Moses
-
lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even
-
so, Moses, son of man, be lifted up and whoever
-
believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting
-
life. So looking simply means believing and being
-
kept alive. And you live. Hallelujah. You look
-
and you live. So Moses wanted to see the glory
-
of God. That is God manifested in the flesh.
-
He wanted to see the fulfillment of God's promise.
-
God becoming a man. Let God see it not yet. Amen?
-
Because it is not yet time. It is not yet time.
-
This is what the scripture says about the prophets.
-
The prophets of old, they long to see this day.
-
They long to see this particular event. Luke
-
chapter 10, verse 23. Luke chapter 10, verse
-
23. The prophets that wrote in the old times.
-
They long to see this particular event. That
-
was what Moses was longing to see. Then he turned
-
to his disciples and said privately, blessed
-
are the eyes which see things you see. For I
-
tell you that many prophets which prophets the
-
prophets are. I know. That's why when you go
-
down, he said that for time was three of chapter
-
four. He said for time will come when they will
-
not endure sound word. Oh, are we together? Yes,
-
they will not endure sound doctrine. What did
-
they see? They see the Messiah physically. They
-
see God in his physical appearance. All the while,
-
they long to see God. They long to see him manifested
-
in the flesh because they have prophesied. By
-
revelation, God has helped them to know that
-
God will become man. Isaiah will speak about
-
the humanity of God becoming a man. Daniel will
-
speak about it. We saw yesterday. God will become
-
man. They long to see and have not seen it. And
-
to hear what you hear and not heard it. That's
-
why Paul instructed Timothy to know that a bishop
-
must never be a novice of this salvation. The
-
prophets have inquired and searched carefully
-
who prophesied of the grace that will come to
-
you. He said, shake your leg, my brother. Hallelujah.
-
Searching for what manner of time they were looking
-
for, what time is it that this will happen? The
-
salvation is about God becoming a man. The manifestation
-
of God in the flesh for the salvation of mankind.
-
Searching for what manner of time the Spirit
-
of Christ who was in them was indicated. We've
-
explained this. We said the Spirit of Christ
-
was on them, right? Because at this moment, You
-
speak as if the spirit of Christ cannot live
-
in them. Because Jesus has not yet been glorified.
-
So the spirit of Christ who was on them was indicating
-
when he testified beforehand the suffering of
-
Christ. He testified to the prophets concerning
-
the sufferings of the Christ and the glories
-
that will follow. To them it was revealed not
-
to themselves but to us. They were ministering
-
the things which now have been reported to you
-
through those who have preached the gospel to
-
you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven. Things
-
which angels desire to look into. Angels desire
-
to look into. From this day that he encouraged
-
them, he says, therefore, ride up. The lines
-
of your mind be sober and rest your hope fully
-
upon the grace that is to be brought to you by
-
the revelation of Jesus Christ. Hebrews 11 verse
-
13. This is what Moses longed to see. God manifested.
-
He longed to see God in the flesh. Hebrew origin
-
or the Jewish origin. These all died in faith.
-
But bishop is of the Greek origin. Are we together?
-
They mean the same thing. Talks about the issue.
-
Bishop. They all died in faith. An overseer.
-
Not having received the promises. Episcopal.
-
You understand? So you say a bishop must be blameless.
-
It was a promise that the Messiah would come.
-
Come on, talk to me. It was a promise that God
-
would become a man. A steward of what? Of God.
-
Moses was able to see from afar. God was able
-
to reveal to Moses by revelation. Not giving
-
to what? To see afar. We just finished talking
-
about wine. I haven't seen them afar of where
-
I showed of them. Amen. Abraham saw from afar.
-
Not violent. Isaac saw from afar. That's why
-
we frowned at some of our brethren we heard that
-
they fought. By revelation what God? We do. Similar
-
with Joseph. That's the point. And Passover was
-
saying, I think yesterday, right? He said that
-
when you are already in the trance, that you
-
are already a deacon. That is a pastor in training
-
or a bishop in training. That means there's some
-
kind of discipline. Are we together? He said
-
he must not be violent. He must not be greedy
-
for money. He must not be greedy for money. They
-
will have hard opportunity to return. But now
-
they desire something better. That is a heavenly
-
country. So what they saw was the resurrection
-
reality. The kingdom of God. The real promised
-
land. He says something better. They desire a
-
better. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called
-
their God. For he has prepared a city for them.
-
A city. is lazy. Those who don't want to do work,
-
everybody cares. He that refused to walk should
-
not eat. We see John testifying also of seeing
-
the glory of God. So that you mark the person
-
who is a lazy person. Once you have seen he is
-
coming to your house frequently. Just take note.
-
It says in the beginning was the word. And the
-
word was with God and the word was God. Verse
-
2. He was in the beginning with God. I'll jump
-
to verse 14. He was in the beginning with God.
-
Verse 14. Oh, talk to me. Does it look familiar?
-
As he has been taught. To see the glory. The
-
glory of God. That means there is a mode of instruction.
-
That was in the beginning. Became flesh. And
-
dwell amongst us. That gives life. The glory
-
as of the only begotten of the father. Full of
-
grace and truth. Full of grace and truth. Moses.
-
desire to see this reality. He was hungry to
-
see this fact, to see this reality. 2 John. 2
-
John. Look at verse 9. So, it started from verse
-
7. Back to Exodus. Verse 7. For many deceivers
-
have gone out into the world. Exodus 33. Who
-
do not confess? Now, look at the mode of the
-
teaching. The daidahe. There are the people,
-
look at, the mode is about Christ. In verse 18.
-
But these people deny it. He said, who do not
-
confess Jesus as coming in the flesh? And this
-
is God's response. I will make my goodness to
-
pass before you and I will proclaim the name
-
of the Lord before you. I will be gracious to
-
whom I will be gracious and I will have compassion
-
on whom I will have compassion on whom I will
-
have compassion. But he said, you cannot see
-
my face for no man shall see my face and not
-
live. Could be a further explanation. And the
-
Lord said, here is a place by me. And you shall
-
stand on the rock. Here is a place by me. And
-
you shall stand on the rock. Verse 21. God says,
-
here is a place by me. By me. This is a place
-
by me. So the word place there is a Hebrew word.
-
Makom. M -A -K -O -M. A place. Makom. Which means
-
where to abide. It means an abode. An abode.
-
He in me is a place to abide. And it is the same
-
word as mone in Greek. A dwelling. John chapter
-
14, verse 1 to 2. Let's see where John chapter
-
14, verse 1 and 2. It is still used in John chapter
-
14, verse 1 to 2, but in the Greek. It says,
-
let not your heart be troubled. You believe in
-
God, believe also in me. In my Father's house
-
are many mansions, dwellings, Does not have who?
-
So that means transgression means not to abide
-
in the doctrine of Christ. What is it already
-
we have seen in 7? He said those who deny that
-
Jesus has come in the flesh. Those who do what?
-
Deny that Jesus has done what? Has come in the
-
flesh. So God for us says you shall stand on
-
the rock. You shall stand on the rock. You shall
-
stand on the rock. Please, I'm taking this gently
-
and slowly so that we will comprehend. Look at
-
verse 21. And the Lord said, here is a place
-
by me. We know what that place is, right? And
-
you shall stand on the rock. Because in their
-
discussion, in their communication, they are
-
looking at someone. Does this sound familiar?
-
To be founded upon. Even though they were expecting
-
a Messiah, but in their mind, there is a kind
-
of Messiah they have already coined. It is the
-
same thing as I will build upon. So even when
-
the Messiah has arrived, they didn't understand
-
or they didn't know. In Matthew 16 verse 18.
-
Let's look at Matthew 16 verse 18. They would
-
not have crucified the world. And on this rock
-
I will build my church. I will build my church.
-
On this rock I will build my church. Similar
-
idea. Which means to be found upon. It is the
-
same. I will build my church. This. Or built
-
upon, rather. These words were spoken ahead by
-
Moses. When we see Jesus speaking, as we always
-
will say, the words that Jesus was speaking were
-
the words that were already in Scripture. And
-
the prophets and men that have lived before have
-
prophesied those words. They've said the things
-
that Jesus will say. They've prophesied the things
-
that Jesus will do. They speak in promises what
-
Jesus will accomplish. So, what are we trying
-
to say? That means as we begin to explore the
-
doctrine of laying over hands, the foundation.
-
Are we together? The basis is who will talk to
-
me is who is Jesus Christ. That's what makes
-
it that we are discussing. Cover you with my
-
hand while I pass by. Speaking of God's hand
-
in salvation, the hand referring to God's hand
-
in salvation, this describes God's salvation
-
plan. It's a description of God's salvation plan.
-
So any deviation as we discuss the rock, the
-
ministry of the laying of hands, our basis. He
-
called the rock salvation. Deuteronomy chapter
Deuteronomy 32 chapter mention
-
32. Deuteronomy chapter 32. Verse 3 and verse
Deuteronomy 32 chapter mention
-
4. For I proclaim the name of the Lord. Ascribe
-
greatness to our God. He is what? He is what?
-
He is the rock. Who is the rock? Look at Mark.
-
Who is the rock? Mark 16. Let's go back. For
-
I proclaim the name of the Lord. What is the
-
name of the Lord? The works of God, right? Ascribe
-
greatness to our God. Continue. Verse 4. He is
-
the rock. God is the rock. He is the rock. His
-
work is perfect. For all his ways are justice.
-
A God of truth and without injustice. Righteous
-
and upright is he. Look at verse 15 of that same
-
Deuteronomy. Jump to verse 15. Are we together?
-
Hallelujah. I just feel like to pray again for
-
you. Because when I said the 11. But Jeshurun,
-
do you fart and kick? You grew fat. You grew
-
thick. You are obese. Then he forsook God who
-
made him. And scornfully esteemed who? Scornfully
-
esteemed what? The rock of his salvation. Scornfully
-
esteemed the rock of his salvation. He called
-
the rock salvation. Right? He called the rock
-
salvation. The rock of his salvation. The rock
-
of his salvation. So in Matthew 16 verse 18,
-
Jesus said, upon this rock, I will build my church.
-
Meaning that upon salvation, meaning that at
-
the resurrection, what will happen? He will establish
-
his church. Upon salvation, he will establish
-
his church. Salvation is in a person. Salvation
-
is a person. Salvation is in Christ. Upon salvation,
-
he will establish what? He will establish his
-
church. Acts chapter 1 verse 16. He will establish
-
his church. He said, men and brethren, this scripture
-
had to be fulfilled. Do we have clarity? What
-
Moses was seeing, what Moses was speaking. So
-
which church is Jesus talking about? Which church
-
is Moses talking about? Where are we going to
-
see the church? From Moses' writing, right? Which
-
church is it? that Jesus is talking about. Again,
-
from Moses' vocabulary, the church is the word
-
Kahal. That's why he uttered Judah's name at
-
this point. Which means the assembly of Israel.
-
The assembly of Israel in the writings of Moses.
-
The assembly of Israel after the Exodus. We said
-
this one week or two weeks ago about the will
-
of God, right? And we said that the will of God
-
is for an assembly. The deliverance of the people
-
of Israel to establish an assembly. An assembly
-
of the men of Israel. And that assembly is where
-
we got the word church from. The word church.
-
The assembly of God's people. And what was the
-
purpose? The goal we make known is knowledge
-
upon the face of the earth. He made them his
-
assembly and then the desire of God is that this
-
assembly will be a kingdom of what? Of priests.
-
Prophets. Kingdom of priests and prophets. We
-
raise the king to what? To kill. Assembly of
-
God. The church. The church is actually the kingdom
-
of God. The church is what? The church is the
-
kingdom of God. So we are in the kingdom of God.
-
God is our king here. Hallelujah. So the church
-
or the kingdom of God or the family of God, the
-
people of God are a product of what? Of the resurrection
-
of Jesus Christ. Verse 17. Look at verse 17.
-
For he was numbered with us upon this rock upon
-
the salvation of men upon the resurrection of
-
Jesus Christ the church is established the family
-
of God is established the people of God with
-
the wages of iniquity are formed from the resurrection
-
of Jesus Christ and all the entrails of the intestine
-
gushed out That is where we got our identity.
-
And it became known to all those dwelling in
-
Jerusalem. So if Jesus mentioned church, there
-
is no church without the Exodus. There is no
-
assembly without the Exodus. The Exodus simply
-
means salvation. Exodus means deliverance. Let
-
his dwelling place be desolate. And let no one
-
live in it. And let another take his word. For
-
there to be a people of God. For there to be
-
a people that God will name as his possession.
-
There must be a redemption. That was what God
-
told Moses. To go to Egypt and do what? And deliver.
-
And not that man take. Egypt therefore becomes
-
a type of what? Of bondage in scriptures. Egypt
-
refers to captivity. Egypt refers to sin. Pharaoh
-
will be seen as Satan. It's a picture. Who hold
-
and keep the people of God in captivity. And
-
we see deliverance from Moses. The type of Jesus.
-
Deliverance from Moses. Salvation. So that the
-
kingdom of God will be established. So that God
-
will have a special people. A priest. A people
-
that are his own possession. A people that will
-
declare the works of God. Upon this rock, upon
-
salvation, upon this rock, I will build, I will
-
establish those that come out of the world. Those
-
that will come out of sin. Those that will come
-
out of the bondage of Satan. Those that will
-
be delivered from the culture. You know, Egypt
-
has a culture, right? Egypt has a civilization.
-
Egypt has a way of life that is not the will
-
of God. So God's deliverance, because the people
-
of God were kept under subjugation, they were
-
kept under what? Activity. They were slaves.
-
They have no right of themselves. They have no
-
freedom. In that parable, he gave. Yes, you are
-
born again. So God is delivering them so that
-
they will worship him in truth. So that they
-
will worship him. So that they will have fellowship
-
with God. So that God can inhabit his people.
-
That is what we see in the wilderness. But the
-
grace of God that is upon me. The grace of God
-
upon your life will have no effect. And that's
-
why we're here spending time. There must be...
-
It was a teaching. It was happening practically,
-
but it's also a teaching. Hallelujah. It's a
-
teaching of our reality today. It's a teaching
-
concerning what God will do in us. Egypt, Pharaoh,
-
is a typology for sin. Satan and the world. And
-
we see our deliverance, our exodus from sin.
-
Our exodus from sin. From Satan. From the world.
-
Now we have come out of the world. Amen. We that
-
are born again. We that are believers. Who have
-
received the message of deliverance. Who have
-
put our trust in Jesus Christ. Have been translated
-
from the kingdom of darkness. Which is Egypt.
-
And then into the kingdom of God's marvelous
-
light. Where we enjoy fellowship with God. And
-
with fellow believers. We share in unity. We
-
saw Agapus. Agapus said, hey, I saw something
-
ahead. And they were able to do something. We
-
share in what? That is my portion. That is your
-
portion. We share in oneness with God. My space
-
will not be empty. If there's anything you should
-
pray about, it's that, Lord, my space will not
-
be empty. And you see, Moses will tell them,
-
my life will be marked with fruitfulness. That
-
whenever they celebrate the Passover, my life
-
will be marked with fruitfulness. They should
-
do it in. Through the last. Through the last.
-
And we've explained what the bread is. What is
-
the bread? The spirit of God. Meaning that we
-
will share in the fellowship of the spirit together.
-
Hallelujah. Meaning that we will be in unity
-
in Christ. It's a family matter. It's a family
-
matter. We have come out of the world. We are
-
the church of God. We are the church of God.
-
We are the church of God. And you will say the
-
gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Hades
-
shall not prevail against it. So we are the church.
-
The gate of hell shall not prevail against means
-
that the church has overcome death. We've prevailed
-
against death in Christ. We've died with him
-
in baptism. Paul will explain that Exodus, baptism
-
by the Red Sea. Amen. Or in Hebrew. Are we together?
-
And we are alive in Christ Jesus. For example,
-
love. Love. We have come out of the world. We
-
are the church of God. Love. Which one? Love.
-
You see that? You see, by the time you go to
-
Greek, there are different kinds of love have
-
their different kind of what? Name. Agape. Eros.
-
Are we together? Philia. Are we together? Moses
-
saw ahead of time. But when you are translating,
-
He saw ahead. God was willing to show him. But
-
he didn't enter. He didn't partake in it. He
-
didn't see God physically. But in Christ, we
-
see God manifested. Hallelujah. We see God manifested.
-
We see God revealed. We see God becoming a man,
-
being revealed to us. Jesus is what? Jesus is
-
the glory of God. Jesus is the glory of God.
-
God being manifested in the flesh. And where
-
does he live? He lives in the believer. The glory
-
of God is seen in Christ and Christ lives in
-
you and I in the form of the Holy Spirit. The
-
apostles and Jesus never spoke anything new.
-
They only came to interpret the text of the prophets.
-
Which means that if you see them saying anything
-
or doing anything, you should know the background
-
where they are coming from. Are we together?
-
I even said, for example, I know Pastor Chidi.
-
Normally teach chemistry, you understand? If
-
I see his note or his slide, would I think that
-
he sat down and invented every name? When you
-
say carbon, you see the one that is named carbon?
-
So that means he went somewhere, there are textbooks
-
and material, he went to get what he was teaching.
-
Are we together? So that means if I want to know
-
more in an elaborate way what he said, what would
-
I do? Can you help me with those references?
-
The rock here will be the rock that Moses spoke
-
about. The church here will be the church that
-
Moses explained. And we'll see the reality today
-
that we are the church. Hallelujah. Now Colossians,
-
Colossians chapter 9, chapter 1 verse 9. But
-
I know that many of our pastors, they go to...
-
Paul would say, for this reason, for this reason,
-
since the day we heard of it, we do not cease
-
to pray for you and to ask that you may be filled
-
with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom
-
and spiritual understanding. That you walk worthy
-
of the Lord. Fully pleasing him. Being fruitful
-
in every good work. In every good work. That
-
is the desire of God that we become fruitful
-
in every good work. Increasing in the knowledge
-
of God. Strengthened with all might. According
-
to his glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering
-
with joy, giving thanks to the Father who has
-
qualified us. He has qualified you. He has qualified
-
us to be partakers of the inheritance in the
-
light. We are no longer in darkness. We are no
-
longer in Egypt. We've been qualified and we
-
are in the light. Hallelujah. He has delivered
-
us from the power of darkness. How did he deliver
-
us? Through the Exodus. Through what Jesus has
-
done. He has delivered us from the power of darkness.
-
And he has conveyed us into the kingdom of the
-
son of his love. He has brought us into the kingdom.
-
Whose kingdom is it? The kingdom of the son.
-
Of his love. In whom we have redemption. Through
-
his spirit. The forgiveness of sins. Amen. Through
-
his spirit. The forgiveness of sins. The blood
-
is what? The blood is spirit. Do you agree with
-
me? Have we explained this before? The blood
-
is what? His spirit. Through his blood, through
-
his spirit, the forgiveness of sins. He is the
-
glory of God. You understand what I just did
-
here? He is what? The image of the invisible
-
God. He is the expression of God in human form.
-
Amen? And he said to them, go into all the world
-
and preach the gospel to every creature. To every
-
creature. Verse 16. He who believes and is baptized
-
will be saved. But he who does not believe will
-
be condemned. And remember I have already shared
-
to you what we call by him. All things were created
-
that are in heaven and are on earth. Visible
-
and invisible. Whether thrones or dominions or
-
principalities or powers. All things were created
-
through him for him. And he is before all things
-
and in him all things consist. Verse 18. Look
-
at verse 18. Because John said that except a
-
man is born of the water and of the spirit, he
-
cannot be born again. So how dare you remove
-
water? He is our God. He is our Father. He is
-
the head of the church, of the body. What is
-
the body? The body is a church. Who is the beginning?
-
The firstborn. From the dead. And in all things
-
he may have preeminence. He may have dominion
-
over. For it pleases the Father that in him all
-
the fullness should dwell. It is God's plan that
-
all the fullness of the Godhead be seen in Christ.
-
And by him, reconcile all things to himself.
-
Through Christ, reconciliation is made to God.
-
And by him, to reconcile all things to himself.
-
By him, whether things on earth or things in
-
heaven, have made peace through the blood of
-
his cross. These things on heaven and things
-
on earth, are they talking about people here?
-
1 Corinthians was telling us that we are all
-
being baptized into one. Are we together? Is
-
that what I do? No. So baptized meant to be,
-
to amass. And you who were once, who were put
-
into something. So when you come into Christ,
-
you are actually amassed into him. Are we together?
-
So when you believe, what happens, what we call
-
that is immersion. Where? In the mind. Amen?
-
Remember? The mind, the wise and the prudent
-
of this world, where did they reject God? In
-
their mind, in their thinking, in their thoughts,
-
right? That's what it means. Here. We are ones
-
like them. But if you do not believe, because
-
if that baptize is different, if you do not believe
-
and baptize, you will be condemned. Believe in
-
Jesus. But no. What is the works of Satan? Do
-
not believe. Are we together? And these signs
-
will follow those who believe. By wicked works.
-
Wicked works is unbelief. In my name. Because
-
everything that you see that is wickedness is
-
a product of unbelief. They will cast out demons.
-
If you have been in this church, we have dealt
-
with these things again and again. Wicked works.
-
Yet. Now he has what? He has reconciled us. He
-
has brought us into a fellowship. So we are in
-
that rock. Are we in that rock? Are we in that
-
kingdom? Are we in salvation? Yes. He has reconciled
-
us in the body. Of his flesh. In the body of
-
his flesh. What is flesh? In Christ's reality.
-
In the spirit. Right? Through what? Through death.
-
To present us. Holy and blameless. Above reproach.
-
In his sight. So before God we are what? We are
-
holy. We are set apart. Set apart is for what?
-
It's for a purpose. To be set apart is for a
-
function. So we are set apart for God for a function.
-
We are blameless. Okay. That is our truth about
-
us. We are blameless. Right? Those who believe
-
in the name of the Son of God, that you will
-
know you have what? Eternal life. Above reproach
-
in His sight. There's no condemnation for us.
-
So if you look at that, John himself, aside his
-
epistle, he wrote again in John 20, 30, 31, you
-
understand? He said that all these things were
-
written that you might be grounded and steadfast
-
and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel
-
through his name, which you heard, which was
-
preached to every creator under heaven. And what
-
is Christ's accomplishment? It's his resurrection.
-
What he has done, what he has accomplished for
-
us. Are we together? So he accomplished it. So
-
that resurrection, that indwelling, and it is
-
in that you have what? You have life. Paul says
-
that if you believe in your heart and confess
-
with your mouth that what? That Jesus who is
-
what? The message that he has been raised from
-
what? From the what? The resurrection. So if
-
he says in my name, he is talking about you.
-
That you are in Christ means you are in the name.
-
Are we together? From God, which was given to
-
me for you to fulfill the word of God. He's not
-
saying you shout, in the name of Jesus. No, you
-
don't need that. You are in the name already.
-
You are in the name. You don't need to shout.
-
You just speak. Go. Simple. The idea of God becoming
-
man. So he's not saying you should shout. He's
-
not mentioning. In most of our teachings, which
-
we have done in the cell meetings, that's why
-
if you don't attend cell meetings, you are missing
-
a lot. We read from Philippians 2, he said, God
-
gave him a name. To them, God willed to make
-
known. Hallelujah. At the name of Jesus, every
-
knee must bow. Every tongue must confess that
-
Jesus Christ is Lord. Verse 27. To them, God
-
wills to make known what? What are the riches?
-
That the name of Jesus. It's not a dark. You
-
remember we talk about good things. Did you hear
-
what I said? The name of Jesus is what? It's
-
not a what? to pass. The good things, the riches,
-
has to do with everything that is in salvation.
-
The name of Jesus is his accomplishment. Moses
-
saw it. God showed him from afar, through that,
-
and here he says, so if you believe in the name,
-
means you believe in the resurrection. The mystery
-
that has been hidden from ages and from generations,
-
but now has been revealed to the saints. To them
-
God willed to make known. What are the riches
-
of the glory, the riches of the glory of this
-
mystery among the Gentiles? Cast out demons.
-
There was what? Speak with what? New tongues.
-
Stop and think. Today, God will make known what
-
are the riches of the glory. Jacob's serpent
-
talks about dealing with demons. Dealing with
-
darkness. Huh? Unbelievers. With darkness. So
-
God's desire is to make known what? The riches
-
of the glory of his mystery before the Gentiles.
-
Recover. Lay hands on the sick and they will
-
recover. Which is what? Which is Christ in you.
-
The Bible calls laying of hands as a sign. A
-
supernatural sign. Now, that's the first thing
-
I want you to note. That laying of hands is not
-
a physical touch. Are we now in the glory of
-
God? Are we together? It's spiritual. It's supernatural.
-
That's why he said, He wants to show His splendor,
-
His power, His authority, His riches through
-
your life, through my life to this generation.
-
It's not any kind of hand. The Gentiles are the
-
unbelieving people of this generation. This foundation,
-
you have to get it from today because anything
-
we're going to do is only... It's a supernatural
-
activity. The laying of hands is a supernatural
-
activity. To them, God will to make known. It's
-
not just a physical touch. Him we what? How will
-
you know? Him we preach. By preaching. It's not.
-
By preaching. It's a way we exercise dominion.
-
And doing what? And teaching every man to the
-
laying of hands. We subdue darkness. We subdue
-
sicknesses. Are we together? Now, this is all
-
wisdom here. It's a sign of dominion. Listen,
-
did you see all these signs? The signs here are
-
already an indication of war. It's an indication
-
of dominion. Did you get what I'm trying to say?
-
Cast out demons is an what? Is an indication
-
of what? Dominion. Established in Christ. Founded
-
on that rock. That is a perfection. They speak
-
with new tongues. Take up serpents. That is a
-
perfection. Every man perfect in Christ. Every
-
man established in Christ. The perfection in
-
Christ is on that rock. And that is your position
-
in Christ. To this end, I want... We are seated
-
with him. We are seated together. We are raised
-
together. We are seated together. In the heavens.
-
He's a place of dominion. Far above principalities
-
and powers. That's a position of dominion. Come
-
to the knowledge. So laying on my hands is a
-
supernatural act. That is how we extend dominion.
-
That is how we cause things to happen. Now, I
-
want that to be in you. I want that consciousness
-
to enter. So that when you are about to lay hands
-
on someone, that should come with that consciousness.
-
The glory of God. To display the works of God.
-
To display what God has done. To proclaim what
-
God has done. Did you understand what I'm saying?
-
Hallelujah. That is the plan of God. That Jacob,
-
though a man blind, he lay his right hand on
-
Ephraim. All of us who believe. He wants to display.
-
He wants to make a display. And Joseph was angry.
-
He was displeased. Why that? And that is true
-
preaching. Joseph knew what that means. It's
-
you don't know. Amen. Did you get what I'm trying
-
to say? Joseph went and exchanged the hand because
-
he knew Manasseh was older. I wish we would have
-
much time to have seen how to manifest the kingdom.
-
That is a firstborn supposed to carry. We would
-
have seen how he would manifest the kingdom.
-
Even though he has not learnt. Because it has
-
not always been like that. Because most of the
-
firstborn, they have missed it. He would manifest
-
by binding and closing. He probably wanted to
-
adjust it. Amen. Now, binding and losing is not...
-
Although the man is blind, but he knew where
-
he was putting his hand. Are you together with
-
me? Israel was blind. He's aged already, but
-
he knew where he was putting his hand. When Joseph
-
shifted the hand back, he returned it back. Because
-
he has given us access to that kingdom. He has
-
given us the keys. He has given us authority.
-
He has given us access into the kingdom. You,
-
Ephraim, I have set you ahead of... I don't know
-
whether you have stayed up in your heart. I don't
-
know whether you've seen what God wants to do
-
with our lives. I don't know whether you've been
-
brought into the plan of God, the desire of God,
-
the purpose of God, what God wants to accomplish
-
with us. The dubious one is Esau. He has already
-
neglected it and did a transaction. He didn't
-
know that already it has registered. He is the
-
one trying to steal what was not his. Because
-
he has already given it up. So which means that
-
because the Bible tells us in Hebrew that he
-
was a clothed man. That is, he showed contempt
-
for the things of the Spirit. I mean, that's
-
why you have to be careful as we continue. Amen.
-
Because they say, where do you have content for
-
the things of the Spirit? They are praying. What
-
are you to show them? Are you to show them how
-
rich you are? You know that kind of thing you
-
show? Sacred things that you are treating. That's
-
why I'm always angry when I see us bringing comedians
-
to come and make gestures of the Holy Spirit.
-
The Holy Spirit. That is profane. That is certificate.
-
You treat sacred things with content. The unbelievers
-
of this world, they have the resources of this
-
world as well. So that is not what you show to
-
them. That is not what you show to them. You
-
show to them the works of Christ. No, you have
-
to honor it. You have to treat it sacred. Through
-
the miraculous. That is how we manifest. Amen?
-
Through the miraculous power of the Holy Ghost.
-
Listen. The fact that Jacob was cunning. That
-
is God's intention. And I see God bringing us
-
to that level of knowledge. Did you understand
-
what I'm trying to say? Are you together with
-
me? We display the glory through the gifts, the
-
equipment that he has given us. We see what we
-
have in Christ. We see how Jacob was cunning
-
to be activated to function in this maneuver
-
way. He would still have been the one to carry
-
it. Did you get what I'm trying to say? God just
-
opened to us to show us how man is. How the heart
-
of men are. But then to show us also how God
-
is. Are we together? Through our ministry. It
-
wasn't that he stole it. No. Through our ministry.
-
It was his. Through our ministry. But look at
-
the point I'm trying to point out. As I close,
-
let me read Ephesians chapter 3. Jacob returned.
Ephesians 3 chapter mention
-
I mean, sorry, Esau returned. Ephesians chapter
Ephesians 3 chapter mention
-
3. So I want you to be expectant more. I just
-
lay foundation. Believe me, God is about to do
-
greater things in this place. Hallelujah. We
-
are created for better works. For greater works.
-
Hallelujah. It's going to be greater and better
-
through our lives. Hallelujah. What I mean better
-
means permanent. Amen? That is what God is going
-
to use our lives to do. What you do in people's
-
lives is going to be better. It's going to be
-
permanent. God is going to use you to put a mark
-
in people's lives that will be eternal. Amen?
-
Your mission is an eternal mission. Or putting
-
people into offices is not done to every believer.
-
It's done to believers who have already shown
-
the qualification. That's God's work in us. Unlike,
-
for example, like the baptism of the Holy Ghost.
-
Of course, you understand? Believers all will
-
partake from it. But offices are reserved for
-
those who are much much. Did you understand what
-
I'm saying? Did you understand what I'm saying?
-
For which reason? Should we look at the reason?
-
Let's look at the reason, chapter 2 verse 19.
-
So that we will read chapter 3 together. For
-
what reason? And that makes you to know that
-
you are one. Now, therefore, you are no longer
-
strangers and foreigners. This is the reason.
-
But fellow citizens, what? And members of what?
-
Of God's family. Of course, the household of
-
God. It has a greater purpose in the agenda of
-
God. Oh, do you hear what I'm saying? It has
-
a what? Build a what? Greater purpose in the
-
what? In the agenda of God. On the foundation
-
of the apostles. So begin to see your path. Build
-
on the rock. What is the foundation of the apostles?
-
See them different. Jesus Christ. You would then
-
appreciate. When Paul. Right. Having been built
-
on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets.
-
Where did we see them? Therefore. Let me ask
-
this one now. This one is a good place to ask
-
questions. Having been built on the foundation
-
of the apostles and the prophets, which apostles
-
and prophets are this? In Romans, it would say,
-
let your members be instrument of what? Of righteousness.
-
You can use your members. These are the New Testament
-
in court, right? Apostles and prophets. Having
-
been built on the foundation because they are
-
the foundations, right? The foundation of the
-
apostles and prophets. Jesus Christ himself.
-
Meaning it is their message. Jesus Christ himself
-
being the chief cornerstone. Have we been talking
-
about a rock, a corner, a stone? In whom the
-
whole building, which building? Upon this rock
-
I will build my, right? In whom the whole building
-
being fitted together grows into what? A holy
-
temple in the Lord. In whom you also have been
-
built together for a dwelling place of God in
-
the spirit. So this church is what? Is in the
-
spirit. My brothers and sisters, this church
-
is spirit. Amen? In fact, put church equals to
-
spirit. That is the formula. To all who are in
-
room, beloved of God, called to be saints, grace
-
to you and peace from God, our Father and the
-
Lord Jesus Christ. First, The kingdom of God
-
manifested where? On earth. Hallelujah. Now,
-
we've known the reason, right? We've seen the
-
reason. For this reason, I, Paul, the prisoner
-
of Christ Jesus, for you Gentiles, indeed, if
-
you have had this dispensation of the grace of
-
God, Dispensation means administration, not dispensationalism.
-
Okay. Dispensation here is what? Sir, I asked
-
somebody about what dispensation. The person
-
read the efficiency of the verse. So you have
-
to correct it. Even if you have heard of the
-
dispensation of the grace of God, which was given
-
to me for you. Dispensation means what? The stewardship
-
of the grace of God. The administration of the
-
grace of God. The leadership of the grace of
-
God that you have. How that by revelation he
-
made known to me the mystery as I have briefly
-
written. Already. Okay. By which when you read,
-
you may understand my knowledge in the mystery
-
of Christ. Which in other ages was not made known
-
to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed
-
by the Spirit to His holy apostles and prophets.
-
New Testament apostles and prophets. That the
-
Gentiles should be fellow heirs of the same body
-
and partakers of His promise. In Christ's truth,
-
the gospel. Of which I became a minister according
-
to the gift of the grace of God given to me by
-
the effective working of his power. To me, who
-
am less than the least of all the... Of all the
-
saints. This grace was given that I should preach
-
among the Gentiles. Look at what they call it.
-
Is there another word for this? Is there any
-
translation? Unsearchable riches of Christ. Any
-
translation? NLT, what does this say? For this
-
reason, I also have been much hindered from coming
-
to you. But now, no longer having a place in
-
this path and having a great desire. Endless
-
treasures. It shows that at this time, he has
-
never been to Rome. He was writing this. Amen?
-
Now, look at verse 11. Go back to Romans chapter
-
1, verse 11. Go back, go back. I love this NLT.
-
Go back to that NLT. I love the way he says.
-
He said, for I long to see you. Correct. Everyone,
-
this mysterious plan that God, the creator of
-
all things, has kept secret from the beginning.
-
Let's read in the end. God's purpose is plain.
-
It's plainer. It's much more clearer. It's more
-
explained. Why do you want to come and see them?
-
In all this was to use where? To meet with them
-
face to face. Remember we said he has never been
-
to them. He has been here and he has not been
-
to meet them. To use who? Who is the church?
-
Who is the church? I am the church. You are the
-
church. You are built on the rock. Hallelujah.
-
The gospel in all this was to use the church
-
to do what? To display his wisdom in his rich
-
variety to all unseen rulers. In fact, another
-
reason which he said earlier on, he said, because
-
I want to have some fruit among you. Did you
-
get what I'm trying to say? Rulers, authorities.
-
To have fruit, you have to be in that place.
-
In the heavenly places. Did you get what I'm
-
trying to say? Amen. I don't like places. Just
-
say in the heavenly. They will have followers.
-
They think they are having fruit. This was his
-
eternal plan. Hallelujah. Now he has carried
-
it out to Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen. Because
-
of Christ and our faith in him, we can now boldly
-
and confidently. We can now come boldly and confidently
-
go to God's presence. We are already in God's
-
presence. You don't go out of God's presence.
-
We are already in God's presence. So please,
-
don't lose heart because of my trials. He's speaking
-
to them. I am suffering for you, so you should
-
be honored. You should feel honored. When I think
-
of all these things, I fall on my knees. I pray
-
to the Father, the creator of everything in heaven
-
and on earth. What is his prayer? I pray from
-
his glorious unlimited resources. He will empower
-
you with inner strength through his spirit. Hallelujah.
-
Then Christ will make his home in your hearts
-
and you trust him as you trust in him. Your roots
-
will go down to God's love and keep you strong.
-
And may you have the power to understand as all
-
God's people should know how wide how long how
-
high How deep is his love? May you experience
-
the love of Christ. Though it is too great to
-
understand fully, then you will be made complete
-
with all the fullness of life and power that
-
comes from God. Now, all glory to God who is
-
able through his mighty power at work within
-
us. To accomplish infinitely more than we might
-
ask or think. Glory to him in the church and
-
in Christ Jesus through all generations forever
-
and ever. Amen. Give me that 20 in the King James.
-
I don't understand how they explain this one.
-
Give me the 20 in King James. Now to him. Look
-
at Acts chapter 9. Who is able to do through
Acts 9 chapter mention
-
us. There are some things. Now to him who is
-
able to do extremely above all things that we
-
ask or think according to the power that worketh
-
where? Where is the power? It's in you. By the
-
Spirit. It's in us. Hallelujah. Above all things.
-
Above all things that we ask or think. Unto him
-
that is able to do exceeding, exceeding abundantly
-
above all things that we ask or think according
-
to the power. There is a power that is at work
-
in you because you are in the spirit, because
-
you are in the body of Christ, because Christ
-
lives in you. There is a union between us and
-
Christ. In us. Verse 21. Unto him be the glory
-
in the church by Christ Jesus at all ages, world
-
without end. Amen. Hallelujah. Amen. Hallelujah.
-
I just want us to close our eyes and respond
-
to this by praying and asking God. Look at what
-
Paul has learned. I've seen your work. I've seen
-
your work in my life. I've seen you establish
-
me on the rock. Look at verse 17. I've seen you
-
build me in Christ. I know what this rock is.
-
The rock is salvation. The rock is Christ. I
-
know what this church is. I know why the church,
-
your desire is to show, to display through the
-
church. And I'll accomplish your task in my generation.
-
That I'll accomplish your tasks in my generation.
-
That I'll fulfill your will and your purpose
-
in my generation. The method and the system of
-
God is man. Let me say it again. And we do that
-
by preaching. The method and the systems of God
-
is what? We do that by preaching. We do that
-
by preaching. He's not angels. He's not AI. You
-
know, stop all this. You know there is some way
-
that you start moving in a euphoria that is...
-
That you are doing what God has ordained you
-
to do. Oh my God. That we are doing what God
-
has ordained us to do. That we are establishing
-
His work. That we are, through us, the wisdom
-
of God in Christ is displayed to the Gentiles.
-
Even the normal water. Hallucination. You hallucinate
-
and give you wrong thing. Not to talk of tongues.
-
So now we have different. It's not tongue of
-
angel or tongues of men. This one is tongue of
-
what? I don't know. Please pray for yourself.
-
Did you understand what I'm saying? So Paul learned.
-
So this is the time. But God, Jesus did not say,
-
okay, let me finish with him. Do everything,
-
do everything. No. Look at what he says, verse
-
17. And Ananias, remember, already the Lord appeared
-
to Ananias, verse 10. Now there will be activations
-
in the subsequent sessions. Hands will be laid
-
on you in the subsequent sessions. Prophecies
-
will be made on you in the subsequent sessions.
-
But it's to the end that you do the will of God,
-
that you do the work of God. Because this is
-
a community that saved Paul's life. That you
-
walk in the realities of Christ. Even now there
-
was certain disciples of Damascus, named Ananias.
-
And to him the Lord said in a vision, Ananias,
-
and he said, yes, here I am, Lord. He said, I
-
am here, Lord. Then the Lord talked to Ananias
-
and told him what to do. I told the Lord, this
-
is not even, the Bible didn't say that Ananias
-
is an apostle. You see, certain disciples in
-
Damascus, Paul will have to go there and receive
-
something. Don't joke with men. Do you understand
-
what I'm saying? That's why I said men are the
-
systems and the methods of God. He chose, he
-
can do without also, but he has chosen not to
-
do. Wait a minute. This Bible we are reading
-
from who? So, The word of this man, what do we
-
call it? Did you get what I'm trying to say?
-
Be careful with me. Be careful. Pray for yourself.
-
Pray for yourself. Listen to what Paul said in
-
1 Corinthians. What did he do? Verse 16. Oh,
-
talk with me. What did he do? 1 Corinthians 9
-
verse 16. Let me read from Good News Translation.
-
Good News Translation. He says, I have no right
-
to boast just because I preach the gospel. After
-
all, I am under orders to do so. It's an instruction
-
to preach the gospel. I am under orders to do
-
so. And how terrible it would be for me if I
-
don't preach the gospel. In other words, war
-
is me if I don't preach the gospel. Verse 17.
-
If I did my work as a matter of free choice,
-
then I could expect to be paid. But I do it as
-
a matter of duty. Because God has entrusted me
-
with what? With this tax. God has entrusted you
-
with a tax. So war is you. War means trouble
-
is you. With the disciples in what? With the
-
disciples in where? In Damascus. Look at verse
-
23. Now after many days were passed, the Jews
-
plotted to kill him. But their plot became known
-
to who? To Saul. Glory unto Jesus. Father, we
-
find ourselves in your will and we do your will.
-
Thank you, Holy Ghost. Thank you, Jesus. We're

-
on our website. This man's life would have ended
-
here. We look forward to having you with us next
-
time. God bless. This is what you cannot get
-
from a distance. Even now, the way the world
-
is connected. Do you get what I'm trying to say?
-
If you are shouting, some people are following
-
you. Is it your father from Nigeria or from Kenya?
-
Or from Magadaska? Are we together? That will
-
come. How will he come? But when you are planted
-
in a local church, you're going to get help.
-
So, again, God's church is God's wisdom of helping
-
his family. God's church is God's wisdom of helping
-
his family. It's God's provision. So God's church,
-
or you can say God's people, is God's method.
-
It's God's system. That's why neglect God's people
-
at your own disadvantage. Impartation is part.
-
Brother, you can't receive it from afar. Because
-
I don't know how will you stretch the hand. You
-
understand what I'm trying to say? Listen, laying
-
of our hands is not something you can replace.
-
You will see it. That's why I said it's a doctrine.
-
You don't say, okay, if we didn't do it, we can
-
do another thing. It's just like you say, okay,
-
no problem. We can substitute prayer. There's
-
no need. We can substitute prayer with, you know.
-
You know these days, they say when you are trying
-
to emphasize something, then you want to demarcate
-
the other one. Maybe you must have heard some
-
people where they say people should be hard working.
-
Then they say, all this nonsense prayer you are
-
praying. Why are you praying prayer? Stand up
-
and go and walk. All this prayer, prayer, prayer,
-
prayer. Is it prayer that will be you? You see
-
that kind of a thing? Why won't you encourage
-
the brother to go and walk? Why must you think
-
that the problem is prayer? Seeth thou a man
-
diligent in his business, he will appear before
-
who? Kings, and not before men. Did you see a
-
task there? He said, no, don't pray. No. So the
-
point is that I'm trying to live with us as we
-
move. At least two things. One, that laying of
-
our hands is a supernatural activity. That's
-
the point I want you to go with. That your body
-
is not ordinary. You have looked down upon it.
-
Each time we talk about Christianity, we say,
-
my spirit, my spirit. Bro, you will see. Your
-
body is an extension in the sun. Osprey was telling
-
us, when you say the image, which we taught already
-
earlier on, the image means God becoming a man.
-
The express image. Are we together? So the point
-
is our body is important. It's very, very important.
-
So let me just read these verses for us to know
-
the second thing I want you to know. That physical
-
meeting of believers is necessary. It cannot
-
be replaced. Because there are certain things
-
that cannot be obtained except in a physical
-
meeting. The rest of your life, you must hear
-
this more than twice. David will say it, once
-
have you spoken twice? You must hear it ten times.
-
Hallelujah. Look at 2 John 12. Second John. Having
-
many things to write to you. Having many things.
-
Having many things to write to you. I did not
-
wish to do so with what? But I hope to come to
-
you and speak. How? Face to face. That our joy
-
will be what? That means there is a limitation
-
of pen and paper. Yes, and zoom. That one, that
-
one, that one, that one took me. Hallelujah.
-
Look at 3 John 2, verse 13. I had many things
-
to write to you, but I do not wish to write to
-
you with pen and paper. But I hope to see you
-
shortly, and we shall speak face to face. Peace
-
to you. Our friend greets you. Greet your friends
-
by name. Greet the friends by name. That one
-
is good, though. Don't be saying, hey, greet
-
the friend by what? By name. Let me greet the
-
last one. 1 Corinthians 11. 1 Corinthians 11.
-
Look at 34. Verse 34. He said, but if anyone
-
is hungry, let him eat at home. Lest you come
-
together for judgment. And the rest, I will set
-
in order when I what? When I call. That means
-
that one cannot be set in order from above. After
-
instruction, you say, this one, I will set in
-
order when I call. There are some discussions,
-
you say, bro, just leave it. When I arrive, we
-
shall talk about it. In this family, there are
-
many things you can do it from above or all of
-
you scattered. One of it is what we are trying
-
to discuss is the laying of hands. And no is
-
a spiritual or supernatural activity. It's a
-
way we extend dominion. It's the way we manifest
-
the kingdom. It's the way we show that we are
-
in church. As by one man sin came by one. So
-
those that receive abundance of grace and the
-
gift of righteousness shall live in life even
-
by one Christ Jesus. That word reign means dominion.
-
You know what Psalm say? They that receive abundance
-
of grace and the gift of righteousness. Is that
-
person here with me? He made him who know no
-
sin to be sin. That we might become the righteousness
-
of God in him. Are we together? So they that
-
receive abundance of grace and the what? The
-
gift of what? Righteousness. Shall do what? Reign
-
in life. Even by one, Christ Jesus. It's a season
-
of dominion. It's a season of dominion. And God
-
wants to use your hand. God wants to use your
-
body. Are we together? Can you just begin to
-
thank the Lord? We're thankful you joined us
