  1. Welcome to NECF Sermons. Each message here is

  2. designed to uplift and strengthen you in your

  3. walk with God. Don't miss out. Stay with us until

  4. the end for a rewarding experience. Let's dive

  5. right in. James chapter 5 verse 14. Is any among

    James 5:14

  6. you sick? Let him call the elders of the church

  7. and let them pray over him, anointing him with

  8. oil in the name of the Lord. Verse 15. And the

  9. prayer of faith will save the sick or would heal

  10. the sick and the Lord will raise him. And if

  11. he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. So

  12. we were trying to discuss that at the end of

  13. last session, that one pattern we have seen,

  14. that no apostle or Jesus ever appoint or ordain

  15. leaders in the church. Or lead us by using oil.

  16. And we say it's by laying of hands. By laying

  17. of hands. Again, I think we were discussing with

  18. the pastors. We said laying of hands is supernatural.

  19. Are we together? And we said at the ending that

  20. that does not mean that you can't use oil. And

  21. we noted that we have the power to impact the

  22. power of God through oil for people to be healed.

  23. Just like we saw the aprons and handkerchiefs.

  24. Just like we saw the shadow of Peter. That means

  25. things can leave our body. to heal others. Did

  26. you understand what I'm saying? So, but we have

  27. not seen the use of oil in ordination or appointing

  28. of elders. Look at James, and we saw that James

  29. was writing to the Jews who were scattered abroad.

  30. They were believers, but they were Jews. And

  31. so it makes sense why he has to talk about oil

  32. because he's the only person that seems to connote

  33. the use of oil. And remember, even here in James,

  34. it's not in ordaining elders, it's to the sick.

  35. You saw the disciples that I want to show you

  36. one pattern. You saw when Jesus asked the disciples

  37. to go and preach and heal, they use oil to anoint

  38. the sick. Do you understand what I'm saying?

  39. Again, Here is also the sick. As we said, it

  40. has its medicinal value and inclination to be

  41. used. And I want you to note verse 15. So that

  42. you know that what is doing the work is not the

  43. oil. He said clearly that the prayer of what?

  44. Faith. That was saved there. Shall save the sick,

  45. means I heal the sick. And the Lord would raise

  46. him up. So it's unambiguous that what does the

  47. work is a prayer of faith. Are we together? Amen.

  48. Now let's study further. Now apart just anoints,

  49. let's look at the word anointed. Anointed is

  50. translated from the word cryo, C -H -R -I -O

  51. in Greek. That word in the New Testament appears

  52. about five times. Anointed, it appears five times

  53. in the New Testament. Four of which refers to

  54. Jesus only. Or in reference to Jesus only. And

  55. I want you just to read those texts. Luke chapter

    Luke 4:18

  56. 4 verse 18. Luke chapter 4 verse 18. The spirit

    Luke 4:18

  57. of the Lord is upon me because he has anointed

  58. me to preach the gospel to the poor. Of course,

  59. very clearly there he anointed. He has sent me

  60. to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty

  61. to the captive, to recover the sight to the blind,

  62. and to set at liberty those who are oppressed,

  63. to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.

  64. Of course, You know, that's a quotation from

  65. Isaiah. Are we together? Amen. If you read Isaiah

  66. 61, you see that 61, verse 1 and 2. Also, we

  67. see the next text that shows that is also...

  68. Acts chapter 10, verse 38, how God has anointed.

    Acts 10:38

  69. Anointed. See that again. But I will read the

  70. next one, which is Acts chapter 4. So Acts chapter

Acts 4 chapter mention Acts 10:38

  71. 10, verse 38 shows us something about Jesus also.

  72. He anointed him with the Holy Ghost and power.

  73. or Jesus Christ of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit

  74. or Holy Ghost with power. And then Jesus went

  75. around doing good and healing all who were oppressed

  76. by the devil for God was with him. Look at chapter

  77. four, verse 27. Chapter four, verse 27. For truly,

  78. Against your holy servant, Jesus, whom you anointed.

  79. Again, about Jesus. Both Herod and Pontius Pilate,

  80. with the Gentiles and the people of Israel were

  81. gathered together. Amen. Hebrews chapter 1, verse

    Hebrews 1:9

  82. 9. Hebrews chapter 1, verse 9. You have loved

    Hebrews 1:9

  83. righteousness and hated lawlessness. Therefore,

  84. God, your God, has anointed you with the oil

  85. of gladness more than your companions. Again,

  86. he's talking about Jesus or Christ. Now, if you

  87. look closely, particularly these two texts, look

  88. for the direct quotation from Isaiah 61, verse

    Isaiah 61:1

  89. 1 and 2. Look for 18. Of course, when Peter was

  90. speaking and he noted Acts chapter 10 verse 38,

    Acts 10:38

  91. he was also not speaking from a vacuum or it

  92. was not novel. He was speaking from the writings

  93. of the prophets. Are we together? Remember, he

  94. was explaining, he was preaching in the house

  95. of Cornelius, telling him the gospel. He was

  96. leaning as well on who? On the text Isaiah 61,

    Isaiah 61:1

  97. verse 1 and 2. Because that's exactly what Isaiah

  98. 61 is talking about. How God anointed Christ

  99. with the Holy Ghost and power and waited about

  100. doing good. And that's exactly Isaiah 61. You

  101. understand? Although not quoted like Luke 4,

  102. but... The background is Isaiah 61. Because that's

  103. exactly what he was anointed to do. Are we together?

  104. So when Peter talked about that, and then he

  105. spoke, they listened and they understood the

  106. mission of the Messiah. And while he speak, the

  107. Holy Ghost fell on them. So in all this, we can

  108. see that they are referring to the consecration

  109. for ministry. I mean, that's again being separated.

  110. When you said one is anointed in this context

  111. of Christ in the Son. In fact, Isaiah would say,

  112. for the Spirit of God is upon me, for he has

  113. anointed me. So he starts listing the things.

  114. Which means that he is separated for this purpose.

  115. He is separated for this purpose. So the only

  116. place that anointed was used that wasn't referring

  117. to Christ is 2 Corinthians 1 .21. 2 Corinthians

  118. 1 .21. Now, he who established us with you in

  119. Christ has done what? Has anointed us in God.

  120. Has anointed us in God. Has anointed us in God.

  121. Here, you can see that anointed is used for who?

  122. All believers. anointed is used for all believers.

  123. Did you see that? Because he says that Now he

  124. who establishes us with you, he said us with

  125. you in Christ, has anointed us is God. So he's

  126. talking about all believers. All believers. It

  127. is not referring to preachers, except that the

  128. fact that the preachers are also what? Believers.

  129. This is not a text that is talking about only

  130. those who are anointed as believers. I mean as

  131. preachers. But of course, if you put it to preachers

  132. as believers, then of course it's talking about

  133. preachers as well. So some preachers called 1

  134. Chronicles. 1 Chronicles, I don't know which

  135. one we'll use, but it means the same thing. Let's

  136. read from 1 Chronicles maybe. 1 Chronicles 16.

  137. That same text was... repeated in Psalms 105

    Psalms 105:15

  138. verse 15. 1 Chronicles 16. Let me just read that

  139. one, 1 Chronicles, because of course. 16 verse

  140. 22. Are you in 22? Saying, do not touch my anointed

  141. ones. and do my prophet no harm. This text, this

  142. text, preachers like it. Once you begin to talk

  143. about it, you say, touch not the Lord's anointed,

  144. except you want to die. You know, believers now,

  145. we are called to give life, but we want to always

  146. call death. Now, if you stay there one verse,

  147. you might not. So just move backward, you will

  148. know. So verse 20, when they went, look at the

  149. day, it's not one person. He said, when they

  150. went from nation to nation and from one kingdom

  151. to another people, he permitted no man to do

  152. them wrong. Yes, he rebuked kings for their sake.

  153. So this place is talking about the entire nation

  154. of Israel. So it's not talking about some specific

  155. people. It's not talking about some specific

  156. people. It's talking about the entire nation

  157. of Israel. So the word anointed or cryo simply

  158. means to set apart or to consecrate. But we saw

  159. the term by Jesus as well used for the believers

  160. that were being set apart. So, when you try to

  161. replace the word anointed with set apart in all

  162. the texts, you can read it well. Notice, I want

  163. you to note, that it is not referring to power.

  164. Did you observe that? He's talking about that

  165. we have been separated, we have been consecrated,

  166. or Christ has been consecrated for the work,

  167. for the purpose of which he changed. Are we together?

  168. Again, there's another word. So, when we said,

  169. I am anointed, I know, they know that we are

  170. picking it from second, Corinthians 1, 20 what?

  171. I am anointed. Anody is the same word. I will

  172. preach Jesus everywhere I go. I am his. He is

  173. mine. I will follow him until the end of time.

  174. So, That's what we're saying. Are we together?

  175. So, we have seen anoint. We have seen anointed.

  176. And there's another word, anointing. John is

  177. the only person that uses it. Anointing. You

  178. understand? We like that word. So let me tap

  179. anointing. Okay, let's see whether that is what

  180. we can tap like palm wine. Glory to Jesus. Are

  181. you in 1 John chapter 2? Let me read from verse,

    1 John 2 chapter mention

  182. 1 John chapter 2, let me read from verse 18.

    1 John 2 chapter mention

  183. Please, I want you to pay attention. Little children,

  184. it is the last hour. And as you have heard that

  185. the Antichrist is coming. Even now, many Antichrists

  186. have come by which we know that it is the last

  187. hour. Are we together? By which we know it is

  188. the last hour. How do we know? Because many Antichrists

  189. have already... Are we together? Amen. Amen.

  190. Remember where we read yesterday in John? John

  191. told us that if any man does not believe that

  192. Jesus Christ came in the flesh, 2 John chapter,

  193. 2 John, yes, 1. Of course, it's only 1, but 7.

  194. If any man does not believe that Jesus Christ

  195. has come in the flesh, he's an antichrist. Is

  196. that okay? Yes. So you can see that John is also

  197. talking about antichrist here. He said they have

  198. already, he's there here. And that's why we know

  199. he's the last hour in the sun. They went out

  200. from us, but they were not of us. For if they

  201. had been, Of us. They would have continued with

  202. us. But they went out. That they might be made

  203. manifest. That none of them. Were of us. But

  204. you have an anointing. Please pay attention.

  205. You have an anointing. From the Holy One. And

  206. you know. All things. You know all things. So

  207. first and foremost. What is that anointing? He

  208. said you have. So it's not something you are

  209. trying to. Because he's talking to believers

  210. here. So first and foremost, whatever it is we're

  211. going to see. But he's trying to tell the believers

  212. that you have an anointing. You have the anointing.

  213. And he said that anointing is from the Holy One.

  214. And what that anointing does is that Because

  215. of the anointing, they know all things. The question

  216. is that what is the all things he's talking about?

  217. Again, we have to see. Verse 21. I have not written

  218. to you because you do not know the truth. I have

  219. not written to you because you do not know the

  220. truth. No. You know it. Don't worry. Whatever

  221. condition, we shall preach. Hallelujah. Amen.

  222. So he said, you have an anointing. He said, I'm

  223. writing to you. He said, verse 21. He said, I

  224. have not written to you. Is this one still working?

  225. Okay. I have written to you because you... He

  226. said, I have not written to you because you do

  227. not know the truth. But because you know it,

  228. and that no lie is of the truth. So he don't

  229. defy the lie, which is the opposite of the truth.

  230. Verse 22. Who is a liar? He said, but he who

  231. denies that Jesus, who denies that Jesus is the

  232. what? Is the Christ. He is what? The Antichrist.

  233. Who denies the father and the son? Verse 23.

  234. Whoever denies the son does not have the father

  235. either. He who acknowledges the son has a father

  236. also. Therefore, let that abide in you. Wait

  237. a minute. Let which abide? What is he talking

  238. about it should abide? He said, let that abide.

  239. Of course, he's talking about the truth. He said,

  240. let the truth abide in you, which you heard from

  241. the beginning. Did you hear that? Remember John?

  242. Are you together with me? Which you heard from

  243. where? You remember John 1 .1. That which was

  244. from the beginning, which we have heard. which

  245. we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked

  246. upon and our hands have handled concerning the

  247. word of life. Did you see that? He said that

  248. which is from the word, the beginning. That's

  249. the same thing. So he's talking about the light

  250. they have received about a person. That's why

  251. when you read, John 1 verse 2, he said, Verse

    John 1:2

  252. 3, So he's talking about that. That which you

  253. have had from the beginning, He said, abide.

  254. He said, let that abide in you. If what you had

  255. from the beginning abides in you, you also will

  256. abide in the Son and in the Father. And in this

  257. is the promise. And this is a promise that He

  258. has promised us eternal life. These things...

  259. I have written to you concerning those who try

  260. to deceive you. Again, verse 27, he said, But

  261. the anointing which you have received from him

  262. abides in you, and you do not need anyone to

  263. teach you. Are we together? You know, this is

  264. one of the texts so many people now use, say

  265. we don't need teachers. You see, if you jump

  266. out of context, you are going to put anything

  267. that is there. But as the same anointing teaches

  268. you concerning all the things, and it's true,

  269. and it's not a lie, and just as it has taught

  270. you, You, it's not you will. It's you abide,

  271. you understand? He said in him. Now, listen.

  272. All that we have been talking about abide, abides.

  273. There is no way it instructs the believer to

  274. abide in him. That him is it. Because he has

  275. already mentioned in verse 21, you understand?

  276. That therefore, sorry, verse 21. No, 24. Therefore,

  277. let that abide in you which you have received

  278. from the beginning. What they have received is

  279. the knowledge of God. You understand what I'm

  280. saying? So, he said, let that abide. That's an

  281. instruction to the believer. Abide in the knowledge

  282. of him you have received. Are we together? When

  283. Paul said, I have fought a good fight. I have

  284. finished my race. I have kept the faith. What

  285. he's saying is that I have kept the sound doctrine,

  286. which means he has abided in the truth. You do

  287. want something? So you can't tell a believer

  288. to abide in Christ. Where is he? In the sun.

  289. You can only tell the unbeliever to come to Christ

  290. because the believer is already in the Christ.

  291. So that last part. Abide in him is abide in it.

  292. Because that is the knowledge, not a person.

  293. It's the knowledge of the person. Because you

  294. are speaking to believers. Again. When you look

  295. at the word anointing. As we said, it was used

  296. by John Luke. Verse 20 and verse 27. So that

  297. word anointing is. chrisma. That is C -H -R -I

  298. -S -M -E. It means to smear. Please, take good,

  299. pay attention. Anointing is not power. It means

  300. to smear. In a sense, smearing something. In

  301. verse 20, John, was not referring to the Spirit

  302. either. When he was talking, he said, but you

  303. have an anointing from the Holy One. That anointing

  304. is not the Spirit. Remember, the context is Antichrist

  305. that they have come. That's the context. So here

  306. the discussion is about Antichrist that came

  307. with a knowledge. And that knowledge is a lie.

  308. And that's why he said, Who is a liar? You see,

  309. a liar is a one who denies that Jesus is the

  310. Christ. That's the reason why if you check, he

  311. said you have an anointing and you, verse 20,

  312. and you know all things. Now, all things here,

  313. as Pastor Fred would say yesterday, is not all

  314. like in English. It's contextual. What is all

  315. he's talking about? Verse 21 says, I have not

  316. written to you because you do not know the truth.

  317. But because you know it. And that no lie is of

  318. the truth. So I want you to note that part. Very

  319. important. So. If you look in carefully, the

  320. word anointing here means knowledge. Note carefully.

  321. The word anointing here in this context means

  322. knowledge. So if you substitute it with knowledge.

  323. But you have a knowledge from the Holy One. And

  324. you know all things. Because you have the knowledge.

  325. And what knowledge is he talking about? He said,

  326. you know the truth. It's the knowledge of the

  327. truth. And that knowledge is okay, but that's

  328. the knowledge he said, you know all things. That

  329. is, you know the truth about the Christ, that

  330. he is the Christ. Those who speak otherwise are

  331. liars. That's why he said, In that thing, you

  332. do not need a teacher. Are we together? This

  333. type of knowledge, that's why he said, the spirit

  334. be a witness with our spirit that we are who?

  335. We are the sons of who? Are we together? So,

  336. do you need anyone to tell you again that you

  337. are born again? No. That's why he said, if you

  338. look downward, verse 27, he said, but the anointing

  339. which you have received. From him, there is a

  340. knowledge that comes from identifying with God.

  341. Did you understand what I'm trying to say? He

  342. beareth witness. There is a knowing that you

  343. receive from him. You don't need a teacher, that

  344. one. You know, you know. Did you understand what

  345. I'm saying? You know. And that knowing, because

  346. without you, you wouldn't have even been born

  347. again. And that's why you don't need a teacher

  348. that already you are in that you know. That's

  349. what is disgusting. And because antichrists have

  350. gone out trying to discredit that Jesus is not

  351. Christ, Jesus is not the Christ, you say, no,

  352. no, no, no, no. You already have it inside you.

  353. You don't need anyone to teach you. You say,

  354. I do not need anyone to teach you. Here is not

  355. even... Because he's referring to the Antichrist

  356. who have gone out. Because they are spreading

  357. all kinds of lies. He says, you don't need those

  358. things. But the same anointing, the same knowledge,

  359. he teaches you concerning all things. And what

  360. is this all things? The knowledge of the truth.

  361. The knowledge that Jesus is the Christ. And that's

  362. why he said, And it is true. Look at it. You

  363. see that? You see that? He said concerning all

  364. things. And it is true. What is the other opposite

  365. lie? What did he say? He said those who say that

  366. Jesus is not the Christ. That is the lie. The

  367. truth is that Jesus is the Christ. He said you

  368. know it. You don't need any teacher. And just

  369. as. It has taught you. Just as it, just as it

  370. has taught you, abide in it, not abide in him.

  371. Do you understand what I'm saying? It's tautology.

  372. Is it even tautology? It's somehow to tell a

  373. believer to abide in him. Do you understand what

  374. I'm saying? Are we together? Okay, let's see

  375. John. You know, sometimes you have to work with

  376. John to understand what he's trying to say. You

  377. only tell the believer to come into Christ, to

  378. abide in him. Look at 1 John. Go down what? Go

  379. to chapter 3. Because it's a continuation. Look

  380. at verse 23. And this is his commandment, that

  381. we should believe in the name of his Son, Jesus

  382. Christ, and love one another. As he gave us commandment.

  383. Now, he who keeps his commandment, do what? Talk

  384. to me. Oh, are we together? Okay, let's read

  385. this verse. Let's read it. Let's read it together.

  386. You understand? Verse 24. Let's read verse 23

  387. first. Go back to 23. Let's read together. Now,

  388. and this is his commandment. Please note. You

  389. know, sometimes when they say commandment, the

  390. first thing that comes to your mind is do, don't.

  391. Do, don't. No. Don't. Just read. Don't worry.

  392. Just read. One, two, three, go. And this is his

  393. commandment that we should believe on the name

  394. of his son, Jesus Christ. As he. So what is the

  395. commandment here? And what is the commandment

  396. here? Good is one and the same. It's like love

  397. the Lord with all your heart and also love your

  398. neighbor as yourself. You understand? So he said

  399. we should believe. That's the commandment. It's

  400. not do's and don'ts. Are we together? Next, verse

  401. 24. One, two, three, go. Now he who keeps his

  402. commandment abide in him. Stop. What is this

  403. commandment? Believe, right? So, hear that belief,

  404. do what? So, can you say to a believer who has

  405. believed, bro, can you abide in him? Is that

  406. correct? No. So, you can see that if you obey

  407. the commandment, that means you abide in him.

  408. And he in you. Are we together? And that's why

  409. he continued, he said, and by this we know that

  410. he abides in where? By you. By the spirit, which

  411. what? Oh my goodness. So it's a confusing fact

  412. to tell a believer abides in God. What you are

  413. saying, he does not have the spirit. Any man

  414. that have the spirit abides in him. If you do

  415. not have the spirit, you are none of his. I am

  416. his and he is mine. So when you go back to chapter

  417. 2, when verse 20 is an error of this, you understand?

  418. So it's not abide in him. No, it's abide in it.

  419. It's in the knowledge. And what is the knowledge?

  420. You abide in the knowledge of the truth. Are

  421. we together? So anointing here is not power.

  422. Anointing here is not the Holy Spirit. Anointing

  423. here is knowledge. Knowledge of the Holy One.

  424. Glory to Jesus. Are we together? So you could

  425. see that. In all that we have searched, there

  426. is nowhere. So now, if you say, bro, I want to

  427. tap anointing. Did you see that you are confusing?

  428. Because knowledge is not something you tap. Did

  429. you get what I'm trying to say? Did you tap knowledge?

  430. No. You are taught knowledge. After all, This

  431. type of knowledge, he said, you do not need a

  432. what? A teacher, because you know it. Remember,

  433. the teachers he's even referring here are those

  434. antichrists, because they are coming to bamboozle

  435. them with a new different thing. So, are we together?

  436. Now, go to Mark. Mark. Chapter 10, verse 16.

    Mark 10:16

  437. Quickly, Mark 10, 16. Are you in Mark 10, 16?

  438. Are you in Mark 10, 16? So now your language

  439. about anointing, anointed, anoint have to be

  440. adjusted. You have to speak as one who has been

  441. taught. Amen. Are we together? Verse 16. And

  442. he took them up. Of course, he's talking about

  443. the little children. Verse 14. But when Jesus

  444. saw it, he was greatly displeased and said to

  445. them. Verse 13. Then they brought little children

  446. to him that he might touch them. But the disciples

  447. rebuked those who brought them. But Jesus saw

  448. it, he was greatly displeased, and said to them,

  449. Let the little children come to me, and do not

  450. forbid them, for of such is the kingdom of God.

  451. Assuredly I say to you, whoever does not receive

  452. the kingdom of God as a little child, will by

  453. no means enter it. Verse 16. And he took them

  454. in his arm, laid his hands on them, and do what?

  455. He laid his hands and blessed them. So we saw

  456. laying of our hands to heal the sick in the sun,

  457. to cast men into the baptism of the Holy Ghost.

  458. To ordain or to consecrate, to separate, to appoint.

  459. Now we have seen also another term, to bless.

  460. What does that mean, to bless? Jesus Christ carried

  461. the children and he blessed them. That word is

  462. a verb, blessed. We together? Please follow me.

  463. It was translated from the Greek word. Which

  464. means to speak well of. To celebrate by praising

  465. or by thanksgiving. To speak well of. To speak

  466. well of. Eulogio is the root word for eulogitos.

  467. Now, this one is eulo, then gitos means g -e

  468. -t -o -s, tos. Now, eulogitos is an adjective.

  469. It means praise, adoration, or adorable. Or spoken

  470. well of. That one is a verse. This one is an

  471. adjective. Now, from these eulogators, we have

  472. the English terms we know today. Eulogize, right?

  473. Eulogy. Amen? Yes, that's where we got those

  474. words. And so... Apart from these eulogitos,

  475. or in this case, let's use the adjective. Yes,

  476. the eulogitos, we have another term for blessed

  477. or blessing, which is, yesterday Pastor Fred

  478. noted that, makarios. M -K -A -R -O -U -R -O

  479. -R -I -O -S. A -K -A -R -I -O -S. Which means

  480. to be fortunate. Means to be fortunate. Well

  481. of. Or praise. Or happy. No, no praise. To be

  482. fortunate. To be well of. Or to be happy. The

  483. other one which we talked about. You will get

  484. told it has to do with praise, adorable, or spoken

  485. well of. These are the two you see in text where

  486. they appear. In all this, you will see where

  487. it talks about plenty money. You understand?

  488. No, they don't mean plenty money. So Jesus laid

  489. hands on the children to bless them. They were

  490. not sick. Are we together? Amen. They were not

  491. sick. He laid his hands on them to bless them.

  492. He put his hand on them. What did he do? He blessed

  493. them by the Spirit and spoke words upon them.

  494. So we do that also with the laying of hands.

  495. Are we together? We do that also with the what?

  496. with the laying of hands. Come, let me show you

  497. how to bless. Come. Because that is what we do.

  498. And all of us are going to do it in the sun.

  499. To bless, as I said, means to speak words by

  500. the Spirit upon the person. Are we together?

  501. It's like we lay hands on him and then you declare

  502. words. By the Spirit. Huh? You are blessed as

  503. you move out. Any limitations of men is not your

  504. limitations. I decree progress upon your life.

  505. You are kept by the power of God. You are not

  506. stranded. You are not stranded in the name of

  507. Jesus. You are not stranded. That is means to

  508. bless. Do you understand what I'm saying? That's

  509. what it means to bless. You are praying your

  510. heart and you are releasing them. Do you understand

  511. what I'm saying? So we use the laying of hands

  512. as well for that. Any word you speak comes with

  513. power because there is a transmittance. Are we

  514. together? Remember we said that our body are

  515. God's methods. Understand? For releasing his

  516. power. A God's way. So you begin to speak. Doors

  517. are open. And you see things happen. That's blessing.

  518. So when people are blessed like that, you see

  519. things happen. So when Jesus laid hands on these

  520. children, he said something. He blessed them.

  521. He blessed them. Are we together? Hallelujah.

  522. So now, usually the reason why many believers

  523. miss supernatural things. It's because they are

  524. looking for the spectacular. Like what I did

  525. to Prince. Many people are watching for him to

  526. somatumble. That's when they will know something

  527. has happened. Did you understand what I'm saying?

  528. Sometimes when you begin to go that way, you

  529. will miss what God is doing. Yes. Sometimes when

  530. we stretch our hands and lay our hands, the spectacular

  531. happens. But if you are always looking for the

  532. spectacular, you missed a lot about God. Are

  533. we together? Because you are trying to apply

  534. feelings and the natural senses to decode where

  535. the things. You want to see something. No, we

  536. walk by faith, not by word, not by sight. So

  537. be careful that you are always focused on the

  538. spectacular. So we have seen that the lay of

  539. hands is done to minister the power of God to

  540. the sick, to minister the baptism of the Spirit,

  541. to impart blessings, to commission men into special

  542. ministries, into ministries. In all these instances,

  543. We saw effect of the laying of hands are evidence

  544. in their life or in the life of the recipients.

  545. Now the minister of laying of hands equips the

  546. minister for greater works of ministry. So what

  547. should we note? How do I receive? I think this

  548. is where I'm going to round up this before we

  549. start praying. How do I receive this ministry

  550. from my brother, from my sister? How? How do

  551. I receive the ministry of the laying of hands?

  552. How? Go back to that Mark 6 where we read. We

  553. read it. I want us to pay attention. In verse

  554. 1 and 2, Jesus taught and performed miracles

  555. by the laying of hands. Look at it. Verse 2 says

  556. that when the Sabbath had come, he began to teach

  557. in the synagogue and many hearing him were astonished

  558. saying, where did this man get these things?

  559. And what wisdom is this which is given to him?

  560. That such what? mighty works are performed by

  561. his hands. So they saw it. You know, there is

  562. something that happened. By the time you go to

  563. verse 3 and 4, then they began to say, what type

  564. of this thing is this? Is this not the carpenter,

  565. the son of Mary, the brothers, we know them,

  566. see them? How can this man be doing citizen?

  567. But Jesus said to them, A prophet is not without

  568. honor except in his own country and among his

  569. own relatives and in his own house. See, I've

  570. seen this thing play out so well. That's why

  571. you have to be careful, especially if you have

  572. relatives, siblings in the sun, husband and wife.

  573. God will really have to help you. God will really

  574. have to help us all so that you don't treat what

  575. is sacred common. And one of the greatest things

  576. that you will have to treat with caution is familiarity.

  577. You know the person in the natural very well.

  578. So you tend to look down upon the person. No.

  579. And it happens. One of my cousins, I used to

  580. stay in their place, sleep with them. I mean,

  581. God has been helping us. We have suffered a couple

  582. of failures, but then we have realized, well,

  583. thank the Lord for that. We went to school, we

  584. are doing wonders, doing a lot of exploits. And

  585. then, We enter university. Many people will come

  586. to us. We'll teach them. We'll do tutorial. There

  587. was a time the medical student called me. Then

  588. I was the biochemistry. Biochemistry used to

  589. give them tough time. So they called me from

  590. the department. I will come and be doing tutorial

  591. for them. There's one of our lecturer. Man, he

  592. has been giving them tough time. So they will

  593. call me. We'll go to a place which he doesn't

  594. know. So they will collect the secret from me.

  595. When they go, they will be of help. Because he

  596. always wanted to make it difficult. So I would

  597. do tutorials for them and all that. But this

  598. is my cousin. We sleep in the same room. The

  599. same bed. He was withdrawn in school while I'm

  600. graduating first class. I mean, you don't understand

  601. what I'm trying to say. This is how you can sit

  602. with somebody in your own house. Have the grace

  603. you want. Others from outside will come and collect

  604. it. You, you'll be hungry here. That's why I

  605. say you have to. That's why this statement is

  606. scary sometimes. A prophet is not without honor

  607. except in his own country and among his own relatives.

  608. In his own house. You know, Jesus was bringing

  609. the thing closer. First he said country. He now

  610. moved to relatives. Move it to house. So, this

  611. is one thing you have to be careful if you want

  612. to receive the ministry of laying over hands.

  613. Dishonor. When a man lays hands on you, don't

  614. see your cousin. Don't see your husband. Don't

  615. see your pastor. Don't see your friend. You have

  616. to see him from the right perspective. Are we

  617. together? You have to see him well in who he

  618. is. Look at verse 5. He said, now he could do

  619. no mighty miracle. This was the person they were

  620. giving testimony in verse 2. Yeah? That they

  621. said he did mighty miracles, mighty works. Are

  622. performed by his hands. Mighty. Again in verse

  623. 5. In his own place. In his own country. With

  624. his own people. He said he could do. No mighty

  625. miracle. Mighty works there. Except. He laid

  626. hands. On a few. Sick people. And healed them.

  627. I believe these are people who. Who refuse. What

  628. the other people are saying, they say, well,

  629. if you people think that this is me, I will go.

  630. They see where they collect their own. Dishonor

  631. is a limitation. Dishonor is a limitation. What

  632. began as mighty works, they saw it somewhere.

  633. They were testifying of it, but they couldn't

  634. receive it. Let me tell you the truth. Dishonor

  635. limits the flow of the power of God. You can't

  636. receive from what you dishonor, from what you

  637. are disdaining. You treat it with contempt, like

  638. Esau. You can't be part of it. You treat it anyhow.

  639. You are rather... Man of God, how can a mighty

  640. God be limited? Yes, I said that dishonor limits

  641. the flow of the power of God. How can you say

  642. that? Oh, yes. God can be limited by men because

  643. he's not a tyrant. You know, he's only a tyrant

  644. that whether you like it or not, he will crush

  645. you and enter. No, God is not a tyrant. If you

  646. refuse the salvation, he will not crush you to

  647. collect it. So he's saving power and healing

  648. power. How mighty he died on the cross. The power

  649. to save his soul. But you see, when a man rejects,

  650. he still hinders that. Yes. To those who refuse

  651. to believe. you will limit the power of God.

  652. So where this honor goes, unbelief goes. You

  653. see, that's how they started. The Bible tells

  654. us, if you look at that place, in that mark,

  655. they started by looking, when you go down, you

  656. will see what the Bible says. Hallelujah. But

  657. 6th and 7th, and he marveled because of the award.

  658. He started as dishonor, he goes to unbelief.

  659. Because that's how he sat. That's the point.

  660. So look at the story of those God he rescued.

  661. Psalm 78. Look at Psalm 78 verse 41. Are you

    Psalms 78:41

  662. in Psalm 78? Verse 41. He said, Yes, again and

  663. again they tempted God. And do what? And limited

  664. the Holy One of who? Of Israel. How did they

  665. limit that? The answer is unbelief. For 40 years,

  666. God had been wanting to do wonders to them. They

  667. refused. That's how they limited him. Through

  668. unbelief. Are we together? If you go back to

  669. verse 54 to verse 56, you will see that verse

  670. 56, yet they tested and provoked the Messiah

  671. and did not keep his word, his testimonies, but

  672. turned back and acted unfaithfully. Like their

  673. what? Like their fathers. They were torn aside

  674. like a deceitful ball. So dishonor and unbelief

  675. work together. Dishonor will eventually drag

  676. unbelief along. Be careful how you speak. Be

  677. careful how you speak. Don't speak. less of sacred

  678. things. Don't speak less of sacred things, of

  679. spiritual things. You hear many believers who

  680. talk anyhow. This is. Why will you be rushing

  681. to touch the man of God? Why will you even have

  682. to call him? Is he not God inside you? Can't

  683. you pray in your own house? You can pray inside

  684. your room and God will hear you. Yet that same

  685. person has already taken an appointment to see

  686. the doctor the next day and God is inside him.

  687. Did you understand what I'm saying? When you

  688. go to the doctor, does it show that you have

  689. unbelief? They are not anti each other. But yet

  690. that same unlearned person is trying to take

  691. you out of where to receive. When you call the

  692. elders, that means you believe. You are just

  693. doing the will of God. Are you sick? He said,

  694. call the elders. He knows the Holy Spirit is

  695. inside you. He knows God, the one that is telling

  696. you to call the elders is inside you. He knows

  697. it. There is a system through which he reaches

  698. people. And the system is man. The earlier you

  699. understand it, the better for you. You understand?

  700. God's system is man. He has never done anything

  701. on the earth without man, and he will never do

  702. anything on the earth without man. You better

  703. know it now. He chose it like that. Can he do

  704. without us? Yes. Has he ever done anything without

  705. us? No. Are we together? Amen. He said, I will

  706. read. I'll sit down and read my Bible. I don't

  707. need anybody. I don't need anybody. And he forgot

  708. that this man that wrote this one. I mean, how?

  709. Hallelujah. No, don't make careless statement.

  710. This honor is a limitation to receiving. What

  711. is honor? Honor simply means I see you as you

  712. are in Christ. That's honor. Honor means I see

  713. you as you are in where? In Christ. For instance,

  714. you can have a true scripture. Many places where

  715. he asks us to honor one another. Look at 1 Thessalonians

  716. 5. Just giving you an example. Because... It

  717. is the word of God, the will of God. He said,

  718. I will hold your brethren to recognize those

  719. who labor among you. And I'll offer you, that

  720. is your leaders, in the Lord and admonish you.

  721. Look at that. And to esteem them very highly.

  722. Very highly. Esteem them what? highly in love

  723. for their work's sake. Be at peace among yourself.

  724. How can you be at peace when everybody's attitude

  725. every day is a complaint to you? Honor means

  726. I will not treat what is a sacred thing like

  727. a common thing. Your brother is a holy... You

  728. remember what we read? He's what? He's anointed.

  729. Oh, are you hearing what I'm saying? He means

  730. he has been set apart. He's a sacred. Don't treat

  731. him as common. You know, there's a way some of

  732. us, we like only people. He's only one you know

  733. that his father is a senator. The way you treat

  734. him differs. How cannot? You are cannot. Yet,

  735. the man you are sitting. He's the next governor

  736. he didn't know. Did you hear what I'm saying?

  737. When you are watching TV and then your father

  738. is telling you, that governor we are classmates,

  739. you know they never knew children. They never

  740. knew children. It's now that he has become something

  741. that he wants to identify with you. Can you identify

  742. with every brother here without discrimination?

  743. That's why we often caution our sisters. Be careful.

  744. When you begin to see a brother who singles you

  745. out, suddenly the brother that has been stingy

  746. is a generous man. And you are smiling. Hey,

  747. be careful. He's not generous. is a conditional

  748. generosity. Yes, sir. Be careful of brethren

  749. whose attitudes are discriminatory. Which means

  750. that it's not what is normal. It's not what flows.

  751. Do you understand what I'm trying to say? Be

  752. careful. You would think that they are doing

  753. you... No, that's not true. So, I don't want

  754. you for henceforth. You joke. I had to correct

  755. some of her sisters. When they meet together,

  756. do you say anything to her? You are foolish.

  757. Huh? This foolish girl. This, this. I mean, how

  758. can you be talking like that to your sister?

  759. I mean, you don't understand that she is a sacred...

  760. No. We always want to speak less of people. If

  761. somebody comes around, it's just because they

  762. are older than him. Say, a small boy. How are

  763. you? Small boy. How about now? How can I say,

  764. ah, man of God, how are you doing? I hope you

  765. are doing well. I mean, does it cost you anything?

  766. That is what God wants. Look at 2 Corinthians

  767. 5 .16. So see men, that is what, as God. See

  768. men in Christ. That's honor. Are you 2 Corinthians

  769. 16? He said, therefore. From now on, we regard

  770. no one according to what? You see, the problem

  771. of those people in Nazareth is that they are

  772. seeing Jesus in the what? In the flesh. He said,

  773. even though we have known Christ according to

  774. the flesh, Paul said we have knowledge. He does

  775. this. But it has passed. He said, yet now, yet

  776. now, we know him to us no longer. If you see

  777. Jesus in the flesh, he will never be your savior.

  778. Did you understand what I'm trying to say? Even

  779. Mary, his mother, she had to believe in Jesus.

  780. So if you are still praying for her, know that

  781. she has also found a way. So what I'm trying

  782. to say is that you must see him. as he is and

  783. you must see your brother as he is in Christ.

  784. That's all. If you want to receive the goodness

  785. of God, it's with men. God decided that way to

  786. put it in men. The goodness of God is with men.

  787. It's in his church. And that's what he decided.

  788. don't allow offense. That's another thing. Listen,

  789. that's why if not, you remove some portions of

  790. scripture, the Bible knows so other people offend

  791. you. That's why I say, you should create space.

  792. You should create space. You must hear this even

  793. in the dark. Don't focus on offenses. Don't allow

  794. them to settle your heart. If you are going to

  795. have God blessed through your life or have others

  796. blessed you, you must be relational. You must

  797. learn to build quality relationships. Be careful

  798. about the weakness of men. The limitation, the

  799. limitation of the man of God can stop you from

  800. receiving. I don't mean the limitation of man

  801. of God can stop the power. Did you hear what

  802. I said? You focusing on his limitation. can stop

  803. you from benefiting from him. We admonish every

  804. believer to be working on his life, to be working

  805. on your character, to be working on things that

  806. you are still weak at, to be practicing the Lord,

  807. to be obedient. But as people grow, you have

  808. to be patient. Because if you focus and look

  809. at their weaknesses, you're not going to gain

  810. anything from them. Did you understand what I'm

  811. trying to say? You're not going to get. Numbers

  812. 27. Look at it. Numbers 27. Verse 18. Glory to

  813. Jesus. I'm trying to discuss how can you receive

  814. it. First, by honor. This honor limits the power

  815. of God. Secondly, I'm trying to discuss that

  816. be careful that you do not Allow the weakness

  817. of men be an obstruction. Be an obstruction.

  818. Look at verse 18. Numbers 27, 18. And the Lord

  819. said to Moses, take Joshua the son of Num. With

  820. you a man in whom is a spirit. And lay your hands

  821. on him. Set him before. Eliza the priest. And

  822. before all the congregation. And you greet him.

  823. In their sight. And you shall give some of your

  824. authority. Of course. That some is in italics.

  825. You shall give your authority. Because he is

  826. going. To him. That all the congregation of Israel.

  827. may be obedient. He shall stand before Eliza

  828. the priest who shall inquire before the Lord

  829. for him. By the judgment of the Urim at his word

  830. they shall go and at his word they shall come

  831. in. He and all the children of Israel with him,

  832. all the congregation. So Moses did as the Lord

  833. commanded him. He took Joshua and set him before

  834. Eliza, the priest, and before all the congregation.

  835. And he laid his hands on him. And Enu greeted

  836. him. In other words, he consecrated him. He set

  837. him into ministry. Just as the Lord had commanded.

  838. By the hand of Moses. By the hand of Moses. The

  839. same person that disobeyed God is the one that

  840. God uses or used to lay hands on the next leader.

  841. Be careful. Hallelujah. Did you see that? Moses

  842. has disobeyed God and disqualified him from entry.

  843. But that same man is the one that will have to

  844. the next one. That's why I say you have to be

  845. careful with what you call weaknesses of a leader.

  846. Look at Deuteronomy 34 .9. I want you to see.

  847. That laying of hands, that place didn't say anything.

  848. But look at Deuteronomy 34. You think, I see,

  849. when Moses laid hand on him, nothing happened.

  850. See it. See how the Bible put it. He said, now

  851. Joshua, the son of Noam, was full of the spirit

  852. of wisdom. Why? Why? He said, for Moses has what?

  853. Has laid his hands on him. This is the man you

  854. call already, he has missed it. He has already

  855. disobeyed God. Now listen, there's one observation

  856. which is very critical. I'm telling you, go and

  857. look at it and study. Throughout Joshua's life,

  858. throughout, there is no record. of him referring

  859. to the error of Moses. Not one. No place ever

  860. Joshua ever mentioned. There's no record. Joshua

  861. ever referred to the mistake Moses did. Never.

  862. Never. Joshua never spoke of Moses' mistakes.

  863. We don't have record of it. He focused rather

  864. on the instructions of Moses. Because they passed

  865. those things to him. In fact, if you look at

  866. Joshua chapter 11 verse 15. Joshua 11 verse 15.

    Joshua 11:15 Joshua 11:15

  867. Look at Joshua's focus. And the Lord, as the

  868. Lord had commanded who? Had commanded Moses his

  869. servant. So Moses commanded Joshua. And so Joshua

  870. did what? He did. He left nothing undone of all

  871. that the Lord have commanded Joshua. Is that

  872. what your Bible says? Eh? The man was focused

  873. in finishing the tax that was given to his master.

  874. Even though he's no longer here. You, every now

  875. and then, you go and find and see that one place.

  876. You are talking every now and then about your

  877. pastor. His mystic, his this, his that, his that.

  878. Always. How can you receive from him? I know

  879. we have questioned some of you. Then, small lie

  880. you started having. Already you started attacking

  881. people online. This is hypodigma. No, what you

  882. are saying is wrong. You didn't know Greek? No.

  883. Revelation is not for attacks all around. We

  884. know the person we are attacking. When the Bible

  885. says, for the weapons of our warfare are not

  886. carnal, we know what we are doing. Our concern

  887. is not the person of someone. It's not the personality.

  888. Our concern is, he didn't say pulling down men.

  889. He said pulling down stronghold. And what are

  890. those stronghold? Casting down what? imaginations.

  891. And every high thing that I exalted is served

  892. beyond the knowledge of Christ. That is what

  893. we are called to do. To go into those things.

  894. Hallelujah. I want you to say this. I'm not a

  895. carrier of men's fault. I'm not a carrier of

  896. men's weaknesses. I see them in Christ. Hallelujah.

  897. No, you are a carrier of the deposit of God.

  898. You are a carrier of the goodness of God. You

  899. are the carrier of the mandate of God. You're

  900. not carrying fault of men. The Lord has laid

  901. upon him the... our iniquities all. Are we together?

  902. So don't carry any iniquity. Leave it. There

  903. is someone that has carried it. You, there is

  904. a mandate upon your life to carry. Hallelujah.

  905. So to receive and to be blessed by people, you

  906. must see them in Christ. You must see them as

  907. who they are. These are men and women. who have

  908. their fault. We all have in one way or the other.

  909. Weaknesses. All of us must work at it. That's

  910. why if you're a leader and your people who are

  911. following, they could not see evidence of growth,

  912. you are failing. How can somebody stay with you

  913. for two, three years and even him cannot see

  914. that something is happening in your life? Did

  915. you understand what I'm trying to say? Something's

  916. wrong. I'm challenging us, those who are in the

  917. position of leadership. Don't stay the way you

  918. are. There must be a sign that something has

  919. improved in your life. That's what makes you

  920. a leader. Not that you keep complaining that

  921. the people are not coming. How can they come

  922. when every day you are regurgitating Sambé? You

  923. don't need to tell anybody where he is blessed,

  924. he will come. Not all men will come, but you

  925. will see the committed ones. So is there a way

  926. to start complaining? Why won't you be every

  927. day laboring for themselves? Those of you that

  928. are leaders of UNITV, how many times do you have

  929. all the leads and be praying for them? This work

  930. is labor. Every day our prayer team read our

  931. paphras, right? Who is one of you, right? Always

  932. do a what? Labouring. I hope those people who

  933. are believing it here, they are also labouring.

  934. So of course, every believer must work at it.

  935. Must work in the word. Must work on their weaknesses.

  936. But you know, even while we are at it, our God

  937. is still using the same people in the sun. If

  938. the Holy Spirit indwells those people, brother,

  939. it's enough to keep quiet. Are we together? Yes.

  940. Even with their weaknesses, the Holy Ghost is

  941. there. God is going to use people, you know what

  942. I'm saying? Not because of their weaknesses.

  943. I've said this over and over. You know what I'm

  944. saying? Yes. The person, as he continues to become

  945. weak and weaker, you know what I'm saying? The

  946. person, too, is... His ministry will be shrinking.

  947. But be careful. The fact that he's an ally does

  948. not mean that he doesn't have anything. Did you

  949. understand what I'm saying? Yes. So, you have

  950. to know that. Samuel will not even choose David.

  951. He came and saw the broad -chested man, that

  952. guy, you know that guy, Eliab. And he confused

  953. the prophet. He said, surely this is the Lord.

  954. He saw Eliab instead of David. What is he trying

  955. to tell us? A lot that you need as you want to

  956. receive from men. Understand? You have to have

  957. a large heart. You must see them in Christ. Oh,

  958. I'm emphasizing that word. I hope you take note.

  959. You must see them where? In Christ. Lastly, let

  960. me say this. Very important. Because we're going

  961. to pray in the sun. We're going to use those

  962. moments. All that we've learned, we're going

  963. to practice it. In the next one hour, we have

  964. to pray. We have to practice it. The grace of

  965. God is here to heal, to empower, to bless. But

  966. you must know how to receive. You come with honor.

  967. You come with faith. We read that text, Mark

    Mark 5 chapter mention

  968. chapter 5. Just let me give you the story we

  969. have heard. We read part of it about the woman

  970. with an issue of blood. You know, son, you must

  971. come with faith. Faith. The power of God moves

  972. in the direction of faith. The power of God,

  973. it moves in the direction of faith. While the

  974. crowd were oppressing him, the power flowed to

  975. the person who believed. And Jesus knew. He knew

  976. something left him by the word of knowledge.

  977. The power of God flows. Your case doesn't need

  978. to be mentioned before you can receive your healing.

  979. Did you understand what I'm saying? When Jesus

  980. was going, he was not attending to her. Jesus

  981. was going to the house of Darius, the leader

  982. of the synagogue. Because they don't say, Master,

  983. please come and help me. You think you know what

  984. I'm trying to say? But she intercepted it in

  985. the sun. If only I can touch the hem of his garment,

  986. his clothes. You don't need to wait in the sun.

  987. You don't need to wait for one special occasion.

  988. You have a need or something, You know the pastor

  989. says, go and meet him. Say, sir, I come. This

  990. is what I want. Don't wait and say, I will see

  991. him after service on Sunday. What is the meaning

  992. of that? Just message him, pastor, I want to

  993. see you. Or message your leader, I want to see

  994. you. Or come and tell your roommates. Say, please,

  995. bro, I want to see you. This is an issue. And

  996. Joseph kneeled down. Please lay hands on me.

  997. This matter has to go. Yes, sir. You don't have

  998. to wait. They say, ah, I heard they have Takunda.

  999. When is their prayer meeting? Oh, they say, is

1000. it Monday or what? Eh, I'm thinking whether I

1001. should go to their prayer meeting or not. You

1002. wait till Monday? Why? Yes, sir. Why? Oh, you

1003. saw him going to the prayer meeting. Like Peter

1004. and John. They were going to the hour of prayer.

1005. You know, son, do you need plenty of time for

1006. us to be late? No. So there are some of us you

1007. have to show. It's when you're in the closet

1008. that that's when you show honor and respect.

1009. You know, I love it. Who was that? I think, yes,

1010. I was commenting. I was saying some things I

1011. was commenting. I saw, what was that? David Doe.

1012. Even in America, in the front of the, in the

1013. airport, he would go down and prostrate. I mean,

1014. do you understand what I'm trying to say? That

1015. culture has not left him, the culture of honor.

1016. Did you understand what I'm trying to say? I

1017. was commanding that. But some of us, just you

1018. have degree, suddenly everybody has become...

1019. I mean, did you get that? Even when a person

1020. from your village just speak one Yoruba, you

1021. don't want to think, how can you speak my language

1022. here now? Something is wrong with you. Your village

1023. is following you. No. Oh, no. Oh, no. You don't

1024. need to wait. It doesn't matter how long your

1025. problem has lingered. That woman has been suffering

1026. for 12 years. She heard about what Jesus was

1027. doing. Faith in Christ solved the whole problem.

1028. There was healing. That's what we are going to

1029. be praying in the son. Jesus touched the woman.

1030. He said, daughter. He was 34. He said, daughter.

1031. He said, your faith has made you whole. Mark

1032. 5, 34. Your faith has made you well. He said,

1033. go in peace and be healed of your affliction.

1034. It started with what she heard. She wasn't the

1035. only one that she heard it though. Of course,

1036. those crowds were following because they knew

1037. Jesus has entered town. A lot of people heard.

1038. Only few acted in faith. She only acted on what

1039. she had. She touched. And there was a touch.

1040. And things happened. So as we, it's a posture

1041. of receiving. You understand? It's a posture

1042. of receiving. Let me tell you, each time you

1043. want to receive, you see, most of us who know

1044. in the distance, When you want to pour down water,

1045. water normally go down what? In, we call it potential

1046. difference. Anyway, in the physics kind of a

1047. thing. You understand what I'm saying? But the

1048. point is that it has to move from somewhere that

1049. is higher going down lower. And each time you

1050. want to receive from someone and you look at

1051. him as your age mate, you won't get anything.

1052. Did you understand what I'm saying? Because knowledge,

1053. the reason why you are listening to me is that

1054. there is an honor you have, you understand, that

1055. I'm your leader. So for that reason, your heart

1056. is already open. As I taught, light is coming.

1057. But let's imagine you see me as your housemate,

1058. you understand, as I call me. Maybe when we are

1059. listening, maybe I even slap our snoring. You

1060. understand? See this brother? You understand?

1061. You won't get anything. Do you understand what

1062. I'm saying? You won't get anything. So whether

  1063. it's a pastor here, whether it's a leader here,

1064. anybody that comes to lead anything, you must

1065. see the person correctly. You must see the what?

1066. The person correctly. That is how to receive.

1067. If you miss this part, all that we have been

  1068. discussing since yesterday, there's a problem.

1069. The psalm says there's a problem. And you don't

1070. need just once. In the psalm, when it comes to

1071. the things of spirit, covert, no covetousness.

1072. Oh, you didn't get me. You didn't want the psalm

1073. to say? He said covert. You convert earnestly.

1074. There is not enough when it comes to the things

1075. of the Spirit. There's not enough. If Pastor

1076. Fred has laid hands on me four times, five times,

1077. I need it more. When I go to me, Pastor Cesar,

1078. I'll say, do it again. Do it again. It's for

1079. establishing you. Now, this consciousness must

1080. come on you that these things have effect and

1081. you will see the effect in your life. Notice

1082. only that we are reading that men's ministry

1083. are shifting. That men are becoming fruitful

1084. when hands are laid upon them. We just read in

1085. Deuteronomy 34 that the wisdom has come upon

1086. Joshua because Moses laid his hands upon him.

1087. Be expectant that something And I have said it,

1088. desire it. What exactly are you looking for?

1089. What do you want changed? Do you want your prayer

1090. life to be improved? You are expecting, let me

1091. tell you, they will shift you off. I'm telling

1092. you, into that realm you desire. That impartation

1093. can happen. Whatever you see in another person's

1094. life that you want, go and meet the person. I

1095. told you how we followed our mommies here. And

  1096. I'm still following. If I see a grace, I follow

  1097. it. I don't wait. I don't say that the Lord will

1098. do it. Who will do it? He has given men. I told

1099. you, men are systems and methods of God. Did

1100. you understand me? If you truly say the Lord

1101. will do it, then look for those men. God has

1102. put those things. That is his own way of doing

1103. it. He decided it that way. So I don't want you

1104. to be seeing your brothers and sisters here ordinarily.

1105. We're ordinary. If you are elderly, things of

1106. the spirit does not answer to the physical, material,

1107. this, you know. Don't say, I'm older than you.

1108. What does that mean? You're speaking like that,

1109. brother. No. No. No. There must be a change.

1110. And that is the last chart I'm giving you. There

1111. must be a change in your heart. You will see

1112. differently. God has given you a seeing eye.

1113. You can't be seeing like somebody who's natural.

1114. You know, son, for the things of the spirit are

1115. only foolishness to the carnal mind. You are

1116. not carnal because you have the spirit of God.

1117. He said, you are not in the flesh. You understand?

1118. Because the Spirit of God dwells in you. So you

1119. must see correctly in the Spirit. This boy, these

1120. small boys. Don't be saying like that. You're

1121. going to be closing many things. See that brother

1122. close to you. See that sister close to you. That's

1123. why you must treat them with honor. With honor.

1124. We don't know. Paul told Timothy to the older

1125. men, even to us as pastors, the way I treat mummies

1126. is, they will say, ah, sir, how are you doing?

1127. Ah, do you know sometimes they will honor them.

1128. He said to the elders, those who are elderly,

1129. he said, treat them as fathers. He said to those,

1130. the older women, he said, treat them as mothers.

1131. He said to the sisters, he said, treat them,

1132. I mean to the ladies. Younger women, treat them

1133. as sisters. He now added something with all purity.

1134. With all purity. That's why we frowned it at

1135. people that sent our sister any kind of message.

1136. You are careless. You don't honor them. Honor

1137. means to treat them with purity. We will not

1138. take it lightly. You are careless. Oh, everybody,

1139. you know what you are doing. We know you. We

1140. know what you are doing. Don't think we don't

1141. know. We know. We know all those systems. We're

1142. in the world, but not of the world. Yes. That's

1143. not honor. He said, treat them as sisters with

1144. all purity. With all purity. With all purity.

1145. That is honor. You see them as sisters. You're

1146. not planning to cheat them. No, you're not. So

  1147. it's a season of impartation. And that's how

1148. Mary sees. It's by seeing them as they are in

1149. Christ. Once you turn to the natural, you understand,

1150. many things will evade you. Many things will

1151. evade you. If they lie, they should take the

1152. light. I am telling you, you will hear it. And

1153. we will lay hands on you. You will be blessed

1154. and you will do wonders. Yes, you will do wonders.

1155. Your mercy will expand. There will be fruit,

1156. fruit that lasts. Your label will not just be

1157. crushed. You label, label, label upon somebody's

1158. life. Then you hear that he has gone back to

1159. his own. No. You will see them and you will rejoice.

1160. Because it will last. It will last. And that's

1161. what the Lord puts this ministry in the church

1162. for. To establish man. To establish man in his

1163. own agenda. I am aware. Don't worry. I'm aware

1164. that this ministry has been bastardized. It has

1165. been abused. Did you see that I didn't mention

1166. anything about abuse throughout the teaching?

  1167. It's deliberate. That's why I say it's a doctrine

1168. of the laying of hands. We don't do doctrine

1169. from error. You understand? Because each time

1170. you are trying to... Teach based according to

1171. the error that is happening. You are likely to

1172. go to another extreme. Just stay and teach the

1173. word. The farm that has been abused, some people

1174. come. You understand? You say, I want, I have

1175. a, what do you call it? I need money to go this

1176. way, go this way. The pastor will lay hands on

1177. you. All through the laying hands we see. He

1178. didn't say anybody come. Even the one that tried

1179. to say, give me this power. He said, your money

1180. perish with you. You think the gift of God can

1181. be what? Can be purchased with money. Did you

1182. understand what I'm saying? No. We know it has

1183. been abused. But even the devil quoted the Bible

1184. wrongly. Did you understand what I'm saying?

1185. So, Bible has been abused. I've been abused by

1186. the Pharisee. That's why they say that the hay,

1187. that is different. And the focus is the Word

1188. of God. So take the ministry of the lane of hands

1189. serious. It's an important part of the church

1190. that empowers men. That's God's system. Take

1191. it serious. Are we together? Are we together?

1192. So can you just rise? We appreciate you being

1193. here today. We hope you carry this word with

1194. you throughout your week. Don't forget to check

1195. the show notes for additional insights. Stay

1196. connected with us through our website or follow

1198. this message with someone you care about. Until

  1199. next time, stay blessed.
