Please, if by any chance, times and times in
-
your life, you still question God's calling upon
-
your life. Please speak to any of the pastors.
-
If sometimes you feel you are not called, if
-
any of such thoughts comes to you, please speak
-
to any of the pastors. They will guide you in
-
divine understanding. They will guide you in
-
divine understanding. If by any chance as well
-
you have been trusting God to walk in the gifts
-
of the Spirit, and doubts are arising or you
-
are exercising and it looks like it's not functioning,
-
please also talk to any of the pastors. I believe
-
that there will be laying of hands for impactation
-
much more so that we can be able to work in these
-
things in abundance. Hallelujah. All right, so
-
let's continue from where we stopped. Let's continue
-
from where we stopped. Thank you, Jesus. Thank
-
you, Holy Ghost. Thank you, Holy Ghost. Thank
-
you, Holy Ghost. All right. John chapter 16,
John 16 chapter mention
-
where we were before we started. John chapter
John 16 chapter mention
-
16. I said that there are things we have accredited
-
to the Holy Ghost, but it's not what the Holy
-
Ghost do. Because we did not quite pay sufficient
-
attention, right? We did not pay sufficient attention
-
to what? To scriptures, right? We didn't pay
-
sufficient attention to it. So now that we are
-
paying sufficient attention, what does the scripture
-
say about convicting the world of sin? Does the
-
Holy Ghost convict? So that word convict is actually
-
electro. Electro, actually. I'll spell it. E
-
-L -E E -L -E G Eleg E -L -E -G C -H -O E -L
-
-E -C -H -O. Thank you, Holy Ghost. Thank you,
-
Jesus. E -L -E -C -H -O. And I've given us the
-
different variations, right? That it means to
-
shame. It means to find fault. It means to reproach.
-
It means to make people feel sorry for themselves
-
or feel sorry of themselves. I start again. Electro
-
have variations of meaning, right? Electro have
-
variations of meaning. And one is to feel ashamed
-
of themselves, to find faults, to reproach, to
-
make them feel sorry for themselves, right? So
-
this is the meaning. Do you have this translation?
-
Literal emphatic translation. Do you by any chance
-
can pop that up? And contemporary English version.
-
I want to see how these two versions give expression
-
to or explain this verse. Maybe because it became
-
very difficult actually. to find uh in type uh
-
what you call translations that actually render
-
it in a way that aligns with the communication
-
of that verse so it's a literal emphatic translation
-
means makes emphasis on the literal right a contemporary
-
english version contemporary english we want
-
to see if it pops that up so while you're looking
-
for that i've given the meaning so It means the
-
world, if we take this meaning, it means that
-
the Holy Ghost will be making the world ashamed.
-
The Holy Ghost will be showing the world its
-
faults. The Holy Ghost will be making them feel
-
sorry, which is incorrect on two bases, right?
-
I want to show us two bases by which such interpretation
-
would be incorrect. we head into what the correct
-
interpretation is. So there are two bases upon
-
which this is incorrect to say that the Holy
-
Ghost will shame the world. So first, the first
-
basis is just to look at the text like that first.
-
Okay? Please, if you find that contemporary English
-
version or literal emphatic translation, let
-
me know if you find it. You couldn't find it?
-
Okay, it's fine. It's okay. They are the ones
-
that actually gave something very close, quite
-
close to it. Right? So, yes, thank you for staying
-
on this verse. And when he comes, he will convict
-
the word of sin. So let's start. Of righteousness
-
and judgment. Stop there. Just this is a contradiction
-
in the sense that you can be convict of sin.
-
Now, can you also be punished and shamed for
-
righteousness? You cannot be shamed and punished
-
for righteousness. It means two things. Something
-
is happening there. They're punishing you for
-
sin. You did the right thing. They're punishing
-
you. You don't know what to do. Right? Of judgments.
-
So you cannot be convicted of sin. And at the
-
same time, you are convicted of righteousness.
-
Right? So something must have to be explained.
-
And of judgment. Now, go further. Let's see what
-
I say. Concerning sin because they do not believe.
-
Okay? Right? So, no, stay on that one. Concerning
-
sin that they do not believe. Okay, if someone
-
does not believe, we can take that. Now, go to
-
the next one. Maybe because of unbelief, they
-
will be shamed. Concerning righteousness because
-
I go to the Father and you will see me no longer.
-
To convict the word of righteousness. Right?
-
To punish them because of righteousness because
-
Jesus is going to the Father. He does not align.
-
Right? So to punish them because of righteousness.
-
In fact, the world does not have this information.
-
You have to give this information to them because
-
this was told to the disciples. Right? So it
-
means that there's something more. The last one
-
that talks about judgment. Okay. Concerning judgment
-
because the ruler of the world is judged. Right?
-
So it seems that there's a little bit of contradiction
-
here. So on the first basis is that the statement
-
itself does not align. to use shaming, the Holy
-
Ghost shaming, or to use shame, or to use punish,
-
right? To punish people because another person
-
is punished, right? So concerning judgment, you
-
want to punish them because it's like you want
-
to punish the world because the God of the world
-
is punished. So you want to punish the world
-
alone. You want to shame the world. So it's not
-
something that aligns. Now, that's on the first
-
basis. Now, the second basis is that it contradicts
-
the character of the Spirit. From Genesis to
-
Revelation, this statement contradicts the character
-
of the Spirit. And there has been no other part
-
of the Scripture that gives such a pattern that
-
the Holy Spirit punishes. Okay? So it contradicts
-
the character of God. Contradicts the character
-
of God. So where do we see The character of God.
-
John 3, 16 and 17. Let's see. Especially 17.
-
For God so loved the world that he gave his only
-
begotten son, his only son, that whosoever believes
-
in him should not perish, but have what? Eternal
-
life. Right? Verse 17. What did he say? Everybody,
-
can we read together? So God did not send his
-
son to earth to condemn the world. So can we
-
say shaming is condemnation? Yes. Convicting
-
someone is condemnation? Yes. Can we say that?
-
Yes. Finding reproach, making them feel sorry
-
for themselves is condemnation? Yes. So here,
-
foundationally, it does not align. James 1 verse
-
5. James 1 verse 5. I think we probably read
-
that. James 1 verse 5. Quickly, please. If anyone
-
of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God. Who gives
-
generously to all without what? Reproach. That's
-
another word for that convict. Reproach. And
-
it will be given to him. Say, God gives generously
-
to all without reproach. Right? Finding faults.
-
Pastor told us in most of our teachings, you
-
find fault is not something, God does not find
-
fault in man. He doesn't find fault. Right? All
-
right. That's all for that. John 5, 45. John
-
5, 45. I said, do you think? that I will accuse
-
you to the father. Do not think rather, do not
-
think that I will accuse you to the father. There
-
is one who accuses, even Moses, on whom you've
-
set your hope. Next. For if you believe Moses,
-
you believe me. For he wrote of me, right? He
-
wrote of me. So he's saying that I do not, Christ
-
is saying, I'm not coming to accuse you. Right?
-
I'm not coming to accuse. Accusation is found
-
when a man holds the law and does not see Christ.
-
That is when a man is accused. So it's in their
-
unbelief. But God does not accuse men. Also,
-
again, if you read John 15. From that verse 18,
-
and you read it until where it says convicts
-
the world, right? You will see that it looks
-
like a revenge. Oh, so when the world has dealt
-
with the believers, then the Holy Spirit will
-
now punish them, shame them, right? Since the
-
believer cannot do anything, hands over the world
-
to the Holy Spirit. Revenge is not a character
-
of God, if that's another thing you want to check.
-
It's not a character of God, right? But God takes
-
care, right? For example, we've seen that scripture
-
that says that he visits the sins of the fathers,
-
right? From one generation to another. And visiting
-
the sins, we said is that God is taking care
-
of the issue of sin. Hold on to that one, right?
-
Because that's the foundation that we should
-
have. So it means that God does not visit generation
-
to generation of sin, but rather from one generation
-
to another, forgiveness is made available. That's
-
what God does. If you use that and bring it here,
-
you will get it, the right interpretation. So
-
let's bring it. Let's bring this foundation and
-
just use it. on that basis to just check. So
-
he said he would convict the world of sin. First
-
of all, we have to change the word convict. I'm
-
going to show you why. I'm going to show you
-
why. It's because convict is elegatio, right?
-
There is a correct use or the right use of the
-
word or the right translation of the word in
-
2 Timothy 3 .16. 2 Timothy 3 .16. So 2 Timothy
-
3 .16. He said, all scriptures is breathed out
-
by God and profitable for words. It's profitable
-
for words and for reproof, right? Reproof is
-
elegachos. You just add S. That's the difference.
-
So the one that says convict is elegacho. This
-
one is S. How can the difference be two? And
-
this one means to provide sufficient evidence
-
pertaining a matter. It is not to shame. So the
-
doctrine is not for shaming people. Right? So
-
reproof here is to provide sufficient evidence.
-
So it means that the choice of words of the translators
-
must have been influenced by probably, you know,
-
like I said, they read the context and they gave
-
an interpretation to the context. themselves.
-
So, elegatio and elegatios, what is the difference?
-
It's the same word, right? The same word. So,
-
here, it says to give evidence. So, from here
-
now, we now know that that elegatio means to
-
give sufficient evidence of something. Right?
-
Can we carry this reproof and put it there and
-
say, reproof the word of sin, elegatios? Yes.
-
Right? So, what would that mean? What would that
-
mean? What would to reprove the word? Now we've
-
adjusted it to reprove, right? Some scriptures
-
use convince. Does anybody's version use convince
-
here instead of convict, right? Some people use
-
convince. So we can bring in convince too. We
-
can bring in reprove too, right? Because both
-
of them would reflect to give sufficient evidence
-
about the matter. Okay? So to give sufficient
-
evidence about a matter. So you should write
-
it down. Provide sufficient evidence regarding
-
a matter. To give enormous evidence of the core
-
of the matter. To give enormous evidence of the
-
core of the matter. Another one to add to it
-
is by that to establish the truth of the matter.
-
To establish the truth of the matter. So let's
-
go back to John 16. In this John 16, now we'll
-
now see. Let's now start beginning to work on
-
it. So nevertheless, I tell you the truth. It's
-
the advantage that I go. If I do not go, the
-
helper will not come. But I will send you. But
-
if I go, I will send him to you. Verse 8. And
-
when he comes, he will reprove the world concerning
-
sin. It will reprove. It will convince the world
-
concerning sin. Now, when an evidence is given,
-
right? When a doctrine is taught, let me give
-
you an example. When we come here and we sit
-
down, we teach doctrine, we explain the scripture.
-
What is the essence of it? It's for you to believe,
-
right? is for you to believe. When a doctrine
-
is taught and explained and explained. For example,
-
we're going to teach on speaking in tongues.
-
It's for you to believe it so that you don't
-
doubt it. Right? When we talk about the things
-
of the spirit, we teach it, teach it. So, it's
-
for you to believe it so that you don't doubt
-
it. Good. So, now, we can say that to give evidence
-
concerning sin. So, the point is, does it mean
-
that it would explain sin to them? No. That's
-
not what it means. to give evidence concerning
-
sin. The question is, what will be the truth
-
about sin when Jesus Christ resurrects? What
-
will be the truth about the sin when Jesus Christ
-
resurrects? That is, has been dealt with. Do
-
you get? So, the truth about sin when Jesus is
-
raised will be that sin has been dealt with.
-
That is the established matter at resurrection.
-
Right? So the established matter that the Holy
-
Spirit will give sufficient evidence to the world
-
about is that he will show them that sin has
-
been dealt with on the basis of Christ's death.
-
and resurrection. Don't forget the saying, I
-
will go, I will go, I will go. You must add that
-
I will go to the explanation of this thing that
-
is happening. So when I go and I come to you,
-
means I'm raised, right? The world will know
-
that I have given them victory over sin. They
-
just need to believe. Right? So the established
-
truth about sin at the resurrection is that It's
-
solved. It's solved. Right? And give them evidence
-
concerning righteousness that they can receive
-
it. So the Holy Spirit does not convict the world
-
of sin, convict, but convince them of what Christ
-
has done to sin. So the Holy Spirit will give
-
evidence, sufficient evidence pertaining all
-
Christ has done to sin. How he has made righteousness
-
available so that they can believe. Therefore,
-
the convincing of the word, the convince of the
-
word of what Jesus did to sin, right? Is the
-
appropriate explanation of the space. So the
-
Holy Spirit convinced them, explains to them.
-
What does he explain? He explains, what would
-
the Holy Spirit explain? So you need to write
-
this, add this to it. That the Holy Spirit will
-
explain the suffering. and the glory of Christ.
-
Please write it, right? The Holy Spirit will
-
explain the suffering and the glory of Christ.
-
The suffering and the glory of Christ. The Holy
-
Spirit will explain the suffering and the glory.
-
You know why? Because the world could not comprehend
-
that as a path to salvation. They couldn't imagine
-
that it is the death and resurrection of Christ.
-
that will bring eternal life. At that point,
-
it's only the Spirit that reveals these things,
-
right? The Holy Spirit will reveal it, will explain
-
it to them. Good. So, he said, I go to my father
-
concerning all of this. Now, how does the Holy
-
Spirit do this? How does the Holy Spirit do this?
-
Right? To an unbeliever, how does the Holy Spirit
-
convince them of what Christ has done? The Holy
-
Spirit, Convince the world through the preaching
-
of the believer. Don't forget chapter 15, verse
-
26 and 27. You will witness after the Spirit
-
has witnessed unto you. So it means that the
-
Spirit witnesses to the apostle, the apostle
-
witnesses to others, right? That is how the Spirit
-
witnesses to others. So the Spirit witnesses
-
to others through... Our witnessing, right? The
-
spirit witnesses to others through our witness.
-
So it conveys the word of sin, right? Regarding
-
sin by our preaching, by our preaching. Glory
-
to God. So the witnessing of Christ is actually
-
what the spirit would do. The witnessing of Christ
-
is what the spirit would do. Hallelujah. So we
-
have been able to go through that and all of
-
that. Now, how do we see this in the entire picture
-
of the Bible? Is that from Genesis as we check
-
across, right? From Genesis as we check across,
-
we see that it has been about passing this message
-
from generation to generation until the fulfillment
-
of it. And now that is fulfilled, we would carry
-
on. So what is God doing on earth today? What
-
is God doing on earth today? He's changing men
-
through me and you. The Spirit is changing lives
-
through myself and you. When we go to preach,
-
when we go to witness, right? And it's not just,
-
he said, signs and wonders will follow our witnessing.
-
So all of that is what the Spirit is doing on
-
it, walking through us. Hallelujah. All right,
-
let's go to 1 Corinthians now, teaching 1 Corinthians
-
12, to go into the gift of the Spirit, right?
-
The gift of the Spirit, much more. Just to highlight
-
something, because I know someone is thinking,
-
What about when I sin and something is telling
-
me that what I've done is bad. I've done something
-
very terrible. I don't feel good about it. What
-
is speaking? Is that not the Holy Spirit? Right?
-
Is that a question in someone's mind? Is that
-
a question? Do you feel that way when maybe you
-
do something wrong? Do you feel like, and you
-
feel very remorse? Right? I'm looking for Paul's
-
writing. What works and what functions in that
-
time, right, is your conscience. Paul will say,
-
if our conscience judges, he said, God is what
-
is greater than our conscience, right? It means
-
the Spirit is greater. Than your conscience.
-
So. When you are judged by your conscience. You
-
should go back to the spirit. To know what is
-
yours. In Christ. I just feel like you address
-
that. Okay. You will say. Paul will say. If our
-
conscience judges. Right. God is greater than
-
our conscience. Right. So when you feel. When
-
you feel sorry. Right. By your conscience. By
-
your morality. By everything. Your knowledge
-
is functioning. To tell you what you have done
-
is bad. When you come to the spirit. Do you know
-
what is yours in spirit? Forgiveness, redemption
-
by his blood, right? Grace to walk in righteousness.
-
So it's not, you know, it's not like the Holy
-
Spirit is the one convincing you. It's because
-
all the body of knowledge you have settled in
-
your mind tells you you have done something wrong.
-
You judge it. And when you come to the Spirit,
-
God is greater than all. You have to go in God,
-
in the Spirit, and you grow. Otherwise, that's
-
why, you know why people find it hard to forgive
-
themselves? You know, they do something very
-
terrible and they're like, I can't forgive myself.
-
I'm like, hey, does forgiveness even come from
-
me in the first place? You know, people do that
-
and you tell them, forget, you are angry. They
-
just feel down. It's because they don't know
-
the place of God. They don't know the place of
-
the Spirit. Because it's in the Spirit. Romans
-
8, there is what? There is now no condemnation
-
to them who are in what? Christ. There is now
-
no condemnation. You are in Christ. So that is
-
what you have to tell yourself. Come back to
-
what the Spirit says about you. Then your consciousness
-
would be healed. Did I say that? Yes. Your consciousness
-
would be healed. Your conscience would be healed.
-
Right? your conscience will be healed. There
-
is healing. There is healing. Alright, so 1 Corinthians
-
12, I think that's where we are going. 1 Corinthians
-
12. So to introduce, right, the things of the
-
Spirit. Now concerning spirituals, brothers,
-
I do not want you to be uninformed. You know
-
that when you were pagans, we were led astray
-
to mute idols. However, you were led. Therefore,
-
I want you to understand. So can you shout, I
-
want you to understand. I want you to understand.
-
Say, I receive understanding. I receive understanding.
-
So Paul wants us to understand things concerning
-
spirituals. He doesn't want us to be ignorant.
-
So we have to check one after the other. So again,
-
the word spirituals is nomaticos, right? Nomaticos,
-
and we had that before. And we can divide it.
-
We can divide it into two, right? We can divide
-
it into two. The pneuma there means spirits.
-
And the tiko there means the things. Means things.
-
Right? Means things. Concerning spiritual. So,
-
pneuma means spirit. The tiko there implies the
-
things. And it reflects in different ways. Okay?
-
So, first, things of the spirit. Right? The things
-
of the spirit. Right? The things of the spirit.
-
Things in the spirit. of the Spirit, things in
-
the Spirit, and things by the Spirit. Right?
-
Things by the Spirit. So, demonstration is by
-
the Spirit. I come to you not in the eloquence
-
of war, that is by the Spirit. Right? What we
-
are doing here, we are doing it in the Spirit.
-
This conference is In the spirit. Right? We are
-
in the spirit of God. The scriptures are of the
-
spirit of God. That is why the law is spiritual.
-
It's of the spirit. It is not away from the,
-
it's not something anti -spirit. The law is of
-
the spirit. It's given by the spirit. Scriptures
-
is of the spirit. Right? They are inspired by
-
the spirit of God. Right? So, those are the,
-
he's talking about the things of the spirit,
-
in the spirit and by the spirit. Right? Things
-
in the spirit and by the spirit. So those are
-
the things we're going to discuss. Now let's
-
go to a little bit to backtrack. Acts chapter
-
2 verse 38. And Peter said to them, repent and
-
what? Be baptized. Every one of you in the name
-
of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins
-
and you will receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
-
You receive what? The gift of the Holy Ghost.
-
Now, in this place, it's not talking about gift
-
of the Spirit. Okay? So be careful when you see
-
gifts, gifts here and there, gifts, you know,
-
you have to read it very well. Right? Gift here
-
means that the Holy Spirit Right? It refers to
-
the Holy Spirit, the gift cells, the nature of
-
the gift, which is to give freely. Like freely
-
given. Let me put it that way. It refers to the
-
Spirit is freely given. So, receive the gift,
-
the Holy Spirit. So, remove off. Right? Maybe
-
some of the off, off, off are causing so many
-
challenges. Actually, the off is not there. You
-
can remove the off. So receive the gift, the
-
what? The Holy Spirit. So the Holy Spirit is
-
given, is nature of it, right? Is given freely.
-
The gift there, right, is the word doron, D -O
-
-R, right? Doron. Which means to be offered freely,
-
to be given freely. The gift there is doron,
-
which means to be offered freely, to be given
-
freely. So the Holy Spirit is the gift. The gift
-
is the Holy Spirit, right? The Holy Spirit is
-
the gift and the gift is the Holy Spirit. All
-
right. Still under scripture, still under scripture.
-
So the giving of the Holy Spirit here is salvation
-
to them. So Peter just finished preaching and
-
they were... They were in unbelief. I said, okay,
-
what can we do to be saved? He said, believe,
-
right? And you will receive the Holy Spirit.
-
So, it's not believe and receive. It's actually,
-
you will receive the Holy Spirit if you believe
-
what I've said. And that's salvation for them.
-
Now, the word receive there, the word receive
-
is the Greek word, is the Greek word lambano.
-
L -A -M -B -A -N -O. Lambano. Lambano, which
-
means to take hold of what is provided. So something
-
is provided freely to take hold of it is lambano.
-
Right, you will see it used in Acts. Luke 24,
-
47, right? Luke 24, 47. I think that should be
-
it. We can confirm that. All right. So Peter
-
is teaching them, right? That the promise of
-
the father has been given. Therefore, they need
-
to receive it. They need to take hold of it by
-
believing, right? They need to take hold of it
-
by believing. And it's free. So they needed not
-
to do. anything than to receive because it's
-
free, right? It's a free gift. They needed not
-
to do anything than to receive. So let's go back
-
to 1 Corinthians 2 and continue on the journey.
-
Just wanted to clarify that and we'll proceed.
-
1 Corinthians 2. Now the next word we should
-
examine is actually the word ignorant. Right?
-
It's the word ignorant. It's the word ignorant.
-
Why we are examining it is because we need to
-
know you can identify your state as we are proceeding.
-
Right? You can identify where you are about your
-
belief, about the things of the spirit. Okay?
-
That's what this session, this particular session
-
is about. I want you as I proceed in explaining
-
step by step the things, identify where you are
-
and when the word of God comes to correct it,
-
You receive what? The correction, right? You
-
receive the understanding. You receive the evidence,
-
right? You receive the evidence. So this one
-
says ignorance. The word is A -G -N -O -E -O.
-
A -G -N -O -E -O. Which is to be ignorant means,
-
right? Ignorant means to refuse to recognize
-
actually. To see, but refuse to recognize. So,
-
to refuse to recognize things pertaining to the
-
things of the Spirit. So, a believer can be saved
-
and refuse to recognize the things pertaining
-
to the Spirit. My scripture is uninformed there,
-
but I think ignorance stays. So, you can be a
-
believer and you are ignorant. You don't know
-
it. You even see it. But you say, no, it does
-
not exist. Right? You say, no, these things don't
-
exist. So that is ignorance. So he's telling
-
them, don't be ignorant about these things. Of
-
course, this church, their issue is not even
-
not knowing because they came out superb in all
-
gifts, right? But they had a problem with regards
-
to how the conduct of the Spirit. So the word
-
is to be ignorant. So a believer can be. So you
-
need to be cautious to take yourself away from
-
that. A believer endured by the Spirit should
-
not be ignorant of the things of the Spirit.
-
Right? A believer indwelled by the Spirit should
-
not be ignorant on the things of the Spirit.
-
Should not be ignorant on the things of the Spirit.
-
And that's what we are going through this teaching.
-
Now, it's a therefore, verse 3. Therefore, I
-
want you to understand that no one speaking in
-
the Spirit of God says Jesus is our cause and
-
no one says Jesus is Lord except in the Spirit.
-
Right? In the Holy Spirit. So here is laying
-
a foundation that first, Know that when somebody
-
says Christ Jesus is the Lord, it means the person
-
has believed. So believing comes. Then the gifts.
-
Believing. So just establish believing. Jesus
-
is Lord. You can add the scriptures here. Romans
-
10. I don't know if I'm moving too fast. Romans
-
10. You can add Romans 10 to that. Romans 10.
-
Let's see. Romans 10 from verse 9 and 10. You
-
can add Romans 10 verse 9 and 10 there. You can
-
put Philippians 2. Of course, in many cross references,
-
you will not find Philippians 2. Romans 10 verse
-
9 and 10. Philippians 2 verse 9 and 10 as well.
-
Philippians 2 verse 9 and 10. It's talking about
-
people who, say, who profess their faith in Christ.
-
People who believe and profess their faith. Because
-
if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is
-
the Lord and believe in your heart that God raised
-
him from the dead, you will be saved. Next. For
-
with your heart one believes and is justified
-
and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.
-
Philippians 2. Therefore God has highly exalted
-
him and bestowed on him the name that is above
-
every name so that at the name so that at the
-
name Of Jesus, every knee should bow in heaven
-
and on earth and under the heads and every tongue
-
confess that Jesus Christ is the Lord to the
-
glory of the Father, right? The whole context
-
of that is believers coming to give glory to
-
God by coming into faith, right? They come into
-
faith. Good. So back to Philippians, back to
-
our key scripture 12. So ignorance, we've passed
-
that. Now we are in... Believing. So being born
-
again comes. So the moment someone is born again,
-
he can walk in the things of the spirit and should
-
not be ignorant. Should not be ignorant. So four,
-
verse four. He said, now there are varieties
-
of gifts. Yes. Now this is where gifts is. This
-
gift here is not the same thing as Doron. The
-
gift here is charisma. Okay. The gift here is
-
charisma. It means something that can be expressed.
-
Right? The gift here is the word charisma. It's
-
a diversity of gifts, diversity of charisma.
-
Something that can be expressed. So you start
-
with something that can be expressed. Charisma.
-
A supernatural endowment. You need to get this
-
one so that you would not... that the gift of
-
the Spirit is something that will be added into
-
you. No. As you have believed and you have received
-
the Spirit, as you are born again, right? Born
-
into the supernatural, it's inside. You get it.
-
It's inside the supernatural. It's inside the
-
Spirit. So, the gift here is supernatural endowments.
-
Ability given to someone because of where they
-
are, because of who they are, rather. Because
-
of who they are. Ability given to someone because
-
of who they are. So it means it is part of that
-
person. It's like your talent. It's part of you.
-
It's like your inherent ability. So the things
-
that we'll be listing are not things that are
-
strange to you. Are not things that you should
-
be looking for outside. They are things that
-
are within you and would be made available to
-
people through you. Do we get it? Right? So they
-
are ability inherent in persons. Two key things.
-
It is not applied for and it is not learned.
-
This will help you in praying in tongues. This
-
is what I'm saying now. That it is not applied
-
for, right? You apply to be trained, right? Or
-
learned. No. It is exercised because it's inside
-
of you. It's like someone, let me use very, let
-
me go into the natural a little bit. Physical
-
and useful. Someone that has big stomach, right?
-
Are they going to import packs and fill the place
-
up? No. The packs is there. It's just underneath.
-
So if you have big stomach issue, you have hopes.
-
You have some hopes if you got big stomach. It's
-
just underneath. You just need to work it out.
-
Right? So nobody's going to import it. No, it's
-
there. You just need to. So the things of the
-
Spirit, the gift of the Spirit is inherent in
-
you. It is there. You don't need to apply for
-
it. You don't need to learn it. You only exercise
-
it. It is in the exercising of it that you see
-
the great demonstration of it. It is exercising
-
of it that you see the great demonstration of
-
it. 2 Timothy 1, 6 -7. 2 Timothy 1, 6 -7. 2 Timothy
-
1, 6 -7. For this reason, I remind you to do
-
what? To fan into flame the gifts of God, which
-
is what? In you through the lane of hands, right?
-
So fan into flame, fan into flame, right? Fan
-
into flame that gift of God, which is inside
-
of you. Fan into flame. So it's inside of you.
-
So it's inside of me. It's inside of me. And
-
I give expression to it. Okay. So the Holy Spirit
-
is freely given. Therefore, the abilities, therefore
-
the gifts and the abilities in the Holy Ghost
-
is freely given. Right? The Holy Spirit is freely
-
given. Therefore, the gift and the abilities
-
in the Holy Spirit is freely given. It's freely
-
given. It is available. To all believers. It's
-
freely given and it is available to all believers.
-
So you have the spirit. Then you have the abilities
-
of the spirit, the gift of the spirit. Then you
-
can exercise it. You can exercise it. Nothing
-
is to come upon you before you give expression
-
to that which is inside of you. Now the next
-
word we need to check is diversities. Diversities,
-
right? Diversities. Diversities is the word diuresis.
-
Diuresis. I think this was the word that was
-
used in Acts chapter 2. Thank you. So diuresis.
Acts 2 chapter mention
-
It implies varieties and different forms. Varieties
-
and different forms. Numerous. More than one.
-
So diuresis. D -I -A -I -R -E -S -I -S. D -I
-
-A -I -R -E -S -I -S. D -I -A -I -R -E -S -I
-
-S. I mean, the word dia is already there telling
-
you it's multiple, right? It's multiple. It's
-
in versions. It's in versions, yes. So it implies
-
varieties, different, numerous. Therefore, the
-
gift of the Spirit are varieties, right? And
-
that is why it was the listing that followed,
-
right? After that verse, the gift of the spirit
-
are varieties. The spirit is one has varieties
-
of gifts. You will see that it said there are
-
varieties of gift, but the same spirits, the
-
same spirits, the same spirits. So can you pray
-
in tongues? Yes. Because you have the same spirit
-
in you. Can you function in the miraculous? Yes.
-
Because you have the spirit in you. Can you heal?
-
Yes. Because it is of the same spirit. That same
-
spirit. So, variety means it's not one. So, it
-
means that a believer can flow in tongues. Right?
-
A believer can give what? Interpretation of tongues.
-
Right? A believer can prophesy. Right? Yes. A
-
believer can give expression to supernatural
-
faith. You know? I think, I don't know. Someone
-
was telling me recently that there's somebody
-
that, I think it was Mariah, that someone has
-
a particular kind of faith. Like their faith
-
is so strong. I'm like, you know, it's by the
-
Spirit that is in them. We all have it. We give
-
expression. And I asked the person, I said, what
-
does the person do? He said, the person always
-
believe whatever comes by the Spirit. Just believe.
-
Whatever sees that. He wants the Spirit to take
-
over in a situation. He believes that, like,
-
just, the person goes beyond all the natural
-
and the physical things that happen and say,
-
no, this is how this thing will be. And the person
-
doesn't doubt. That's an expression. That's an
-
expression that allows it regularly, you know,
-
and people will not be saying, ah, this guy said
-
this thing, he believed it and it happened. Oh,
-
this person said, because they are giving expression
-
to it. So they are divested. So you can walk
-
in any of it, any of these gifts, right? The
-
walkings of miracles, The faith, discernment
-
of spirits, right? We can walk in these gifts.
-
So, the next one that we need to see is the same
-
spirit. The same spirit. The same spirit, right?
-
The same spirit. Don't forget this same spirit.
-
Where did we start tracing the spirit from? Genesis.
-
The same spirit. The same spirit. Now we come
-
to the gift of the same spirit is giving us.
-
Right? The same spirit. So he said, the same
-
spirit, right? The same spirit, the same pneuma,
-
right? The same pneuma, which is, of course,
-
the same spirit in John 14. So let's write, 1
-
Corinthians 2 .12, to emphasize the same spirit,
-
it reflects the spirit of God at work in us.
-
1 Corinthians 2 .12. We see that as the same
-
Spirit of God. 1 Corinthians 3 .16 It says, Now
-
we have not received the Spirit of the world,
-
but the Spirit who is from God. I like this,
-
right? The Spirit who is from God. The Spirit
-
who is from God. That we might understand the
-
things that are what? Freely given to us by God.
-
This is what we are doing today. We are understanding
-
the things that are freely given to us. By God.
-
Because we have what? We have received the Spirit
-
of God. Only the Spirit understands the things
-
of the Spirit. And it's the one that explains
-
it. So we have seen this. Now that's 1 Corinthians
-
3 .16. Quickly. 1 Corinthians 3 .16. Do you not
-
know that you are the temple and that God's Spirit
-
dwells in you? So the Spirit that is in the believer.
-
So not other spirits. Not something else. Nothing
-
external. So something from within. So when I
-
want to function in tongues, it's from what?
-
It's from within. When I want to function in
-
tongues, it's from within. I don't wait or sing
-
some song, sing some song, sing some song, wait,
-
sing some song, drum, drum, drum, drum, wait.
-
Then all of a sudden, I go unconscious. Ah, no,
-
it doesn't work like that. Right? It's from within.
-
From the abundance. of the indwelling, then you
-
begin to prophesy, you begin to speak in tongues,
-
you begin to do all that is found in that same
-
spirit. All right, 1 Corinthians 6, 17, the spirit
-
that brought us into union with Christ. 1 Corinthians
-
6, 17 to 20, actually. 17 to 20. But he who is
-
joined to the Lord become one spirit with him.
-
flee from sexual immorality. Every sin and person
-
commits outside the body, but the sexual immorality
-
person sins again in his own body. Or do you
-
not know that your body is a temple of the Holy
-
Spirit within you, whom you have from God? So
-
that same spirit is from God. You are not your
-
own. 20. For you were bought with a price and
-
glorified God in your body. So that same spirit
-
that is ours from God. 1 Corinthians 2 of 3.
-
1 Corinthians 2 of 3. The same spirit that we
-
receive from salvation, right? Therefore, I want
-
you to understand that no one speaking, right?
-
This is one of God ever says Jesus is a cause,
-
right? No one can say Jesus is Lord. It means
-
that someone who is saying, who is believing
-
Christ, believe Christ through the spirit, right?
-
They believe Christ through the spirit. So the
-
word spirit, the word same day is actually autos,
-
right? A -U, normal autos that you know, A -U
-
-T -O -S, right? It's autos. And it reflects
-
the same over and over again. You can just put
-
this scripture, Acts 2 .36. It's using also the
-
reflection of the same man, Jesus, the same person,
-
Jesus, that same Christ, right? So if all gifts
-
are from the same spirits and all believers have
-
the same spirits, all believers can function
-
in all the gifts. If all... If, sorry, if all
-
gifts, yes, are from the same spirit, right?
-
And all, if all gifts are from the same spirit
-
and all believers have the same spirit, then
-
all believers can function in all gifts. If all
-
gifts are from the same spirit, then all believers
-
that have the same spirit can function in all
-
the gifts. See this? It's one that will clear
-
us in many ways. All right. Let's see. So go
-
to 1 Corinthians. Go to just that same chapter,
-
verse 11. 1 Corinthians 2 of 11. 1 Corinthians
-
2 of 11. It says, but all these, okay, all these
-
are empowered by one and the same Spirit who
-
apportions to, each one individually as he wills.
-
We'll come to as he wills, right? It means that
-
this same spirit helps every believer to function
-
as they desire to function. Okay? So here we
-
always say that when people read it, they say,
-
oh, the spirit is the one that wills and decides,
-
right? So the spirit decides what it will give
-
you. Right? The spirit will decide. But this
-
is actually talking about the believer, that
-
the believer, right, is empowered by the same
-
spirit as a desire. So you can desire to speak
-
in tongues. You can desire to prophesy. You can
-
desire to walk in healing. You can desire to
-
walk in the miraculous. You can desire to prophesy,
-
to speak, to do all of these, right? You can
-
desire to walk in word of wisdom, word of knowledge,
-
discernment, as you will. Ask your will because
-
the Spirit is inside of you. So all this is being
-
worked in on. Now this next one is what we should
-
check. It said varieties of service, right? Varieties
-
of service. Varieties of service. Of course,
-
we already know what variety is, which is diuresis.
-
So it's talking about varieties of service. It
-
means that these gifts are given They are administered
-
in diverse ways, right? Varieties of service
-
means these give are administered in diverse
-
ways, right? Healing, word of wisdom, word of
-
knowledge, right? So if you are healing someone,
-
that is, of course, most of them, some of the
-
time they go together, but when you are healing
-
someone, right? There's a way you administer
-
healing. You pray in tongues, right? You prophesy.
-
So there are ways by which these gifts are administered.
-
Because the administration is the word diakonia,
-
which we know is ministering to people. It's
-
service to people. It's ministering to someone.
-
So you need to know how all these gifts are administered.
-
Now that you know that you have them in you,
-
you need to understand how they are administered.
-
You need to know how they are administered. You
-
need to know how they are administered. Another
-
word is the Lord, the same Lord, right? The same
-
Lord, we should check that as well. We've seen
-
administration, which I just touched upon briefly,
-
is diakonia. Diakonia means different ways of
-
ministering to people, right? Different ways
-
of ministering to people, right? Ministries.
-
So let's take the word, the same Lord. It's the
-
same varieties of services, but the same Lord.
-
The same Lord simply means, right? Same Lord
-
simply refer to the fact that we are in the same
-
family. We are under the same authority. We are
-
in the body of Christ. We are in the same family.
-
We are under the same authority. We are in the
-
body of Christ. You know, the same Lord, under
-
the authority in the same family, we are in the
-
body of Christ. So it's referring to the body
-
of Christ, right? It's referring to the body
-
of Christ. So, it's referring to the body of
-
Christ. If you read, how do we know? If you read
-
verse 12 of that chapter 12, It says, for just
-
as the body is one and has many words, members,
-
and all members of the body, though many, one
-
is it with Christ. Same Lord, same Christ, same
-
spirit. Verse 12 of chapter, body in the body
-
of Christ. So under the same authority, under
-
the same Christ, right? That is what's reflected.
-
So it means that nobody prophesying should prophesy
-
anything that is outside Christ. Right? It means
-
that anybody prophesying, anybody walking in
-
the things of spirit can only function within
-
that that is available in Christ. Right? You
-
function within that. So what you say, what you
-
prophesy, what you administer to people. is what
-
is found in Christ, right? Is what is found in
-
Christ. So varieties of administration, but one
-
Lord. One Lord means we all function in Christ,
-
not outside Christ, not outside the authority
-
of what Christ has done. The next one is the
-
varieties of activities, which is the word operations
-
in some books, right? Varieties of activities.
-
excuse me, varieties of activities, which is
-
operations. That word operation is important
-
because we are going to explain, right, the three
-
operations of the things of the spirit. We're
-
going to explain the three operations of things
-
of the spirit. We're going to see them, how they
-
function. It's actually enajima, right, enajima,
-
which comes from enagio, operation, E -N -E -R.
-
The varieties of activities, right? In other
-
things, it gives operation. So, E -N -E -R -G
-
-E -M -A. E -N -E -R -G -E -M -A. E -N -E -R
-
-G -E -M -A. Which refers to the active working
-
out of these gifts. Right? The active working
-
out of these gifts. How do you... How do you
-
function in tongues? What do you do when you
-
function in tongues? We do what? We speak. Exactly.
-
We speak. So you can also, you are murmuring
-
in tongues. You are still groaning. You have
-
not entered. You have not entered tongues. You
-
are still somewhere. You know, you are groaning.
-
Tongues, you must say. So that is how that operates.
-
That's how that functions. So how is tongue active?
-
It's active in such matters. It's energy. We
-
see that in that. So let's see. Varieties of
-
everybody. The same Lord empowers them all. Empowers
-
them all. It means everybody. It means everybody,
-
everybody is empowered. But before we go to this,
-
before I go to empower them all, let's talk about
-
the operations, actually. The operations is very
-
important. So let's write it down. How do we
-
function? How are we active? How do we work in
-
these things? How do we make them... So you will
-
not say that you want... How do you know you're
-
working in it? Maybe that's another way to put
-
it. How do you know you're working in it? How
-
to work in it? How are they active? How are they
-
effective? Right? So first, Tongues. Write it
-
down. Tongues, interpretation of tongues and
-
prophecy. Put them together. Tongues, interpretation
-
of tongues and prophecy. Tongues, interpretation
-
of tongues and prophecy. Are activated through
-
all trances. All trance. So we call them the
-
all trance gifts. So they are effective. By all
-
trans. You've never seen, you'll never see a
-
prophet that is keeping quiet. So you cannot
-
say you are prophesying and you're keeping quiet.
-
You'll never say, you'll not say you are praying
-
in tongues and you're keeping quiet. You'll not
-
say you are, you are interpreting tongues and
-
you're not saying anything. Right? So it's by
-
all trans. It's all trans. This is how we operate
-
in this thing. Right? So this is how we operate.
-
Now the next one is, Word of knowledge, word
-
of wisdom, and discernment of spirits, which
-
you have seen. You will see that those listings
-
started from eight. Word of wisdom, word of knowledge,
-
discernment of spirits. And scriptures will say,
-
test every spirit. You discern your discernment
-
of spirits. Word of knowledge, word of wisdom.
-
The assignment of spirit. We're going to teach
-
them in detail. We take them gradually. These
-
ones are called revelational gifts. They operate
-
by revelation. So there's a revelation granted
-
unto you to give a word of wisdom to a brother.
-
Then you give the word of wisdom. There's a revelation.
-
By the spirit, you receive a revelation. By the
-
spirit, you can tell which spirit is of God,
-
which spirit is not of God. By revelation, you
-
know. Word of knowledge, right? Things happening,
-
things taking place, circumstances around, you
-
know by the Spirit. You have not been there,
-
you have not been, but by the Spirit you know,
-
you have this knowledge, right? You have this
-
knowledge. It is supernatural. It is supernatural.
-
You can be somebody, that's why when we minister
-
to each other, what we do sometimes, we give
-
word, after we pray in tongues, right? We give
-
interpretation. Then we give word of knowledge.
-
Sometimes we perceive, right, people having problems
-
in different areas of their life and we share
-
with you. That's where you say you're having
-
this problem, right? And we give you the comfort
-
of the spirits. Sometimes it comes as, it comes
-
as word of wisdom, right? Word of wisdom, yes.
-
It comes at that. So we tell you what to do.
-
Okay, this is the circumstances and you tell
-
us, okay, sir, this is the situation I find myself
-
and that's true. Then do the simple word that
-
helps you out of that. Because all the gifts
-
of the Spirit are supposed to help you out of
-
trouble. They're supposed to edify you. We're
-
going to come to that. It is the word to profit
-
with all. Right? So, all these gifts is for profiting
-
of the recipient. Right? It's for the profit.
-
So, the word of knowledge and the sign of Spirit,
-
they are revelation. You see something. You know
-
something. It comes to your mind. you function
-
in it. The third one, the third one, which we
-
call the power gifts, the third one, which we
-
call the power gifts, they are actually workings
-
of miracles, workings of miracles, gifts of healing,
-
and gifts of faith. Workings of miracles, gifts
-
of healing, and gifts of faith. They are power
-
gifts, right? They are power gifts. They are
-
power gifts. So this is how they function. So
-
in this ones, right, of course you can, it's
-
sometimes, most of the time they walk with altruism,
-
but you're healing someone, you're laying hands
-
on someone and the person is healed. You find
-
someone in trouble and you're believing and having
-
faith alongside, holding their hands that they
-
will come out of this in faith in God, walkings
-
of miracles. So this is how they function. These
-
are the operations of it. So we have the three
-
different operations of the things, of the gifts
-
of the spirits. It's given to every man. Every
-
man. It means that every man has it. Every man
-
does what? Has it. Every man has this in them.
-
Every man has this. Let's go back to the scriptures.
-
Verse 7. It said, To each is given the manifestation
-
of the Spirit for common good. Right? So, because
-
of the way it follows the listing. Right? Because
-
that verse, It's followed by the listing of the
-
gifts. We assume it's actually demonstration,
-
but it's not demonstration, right? It's not demonstration.
-
It's phanerosis, right? Which is another word
-
to explain the indwelling. It's phanerosis. It
-
means to open up, to lay bare, right? To make
-
available. It's another phrase that expresses
-
the man. So, and you will see that it is manifestation,
-
not manifestations, right? It's not a plural.
-
Anyway, you see, at least within this context,
-
it keeps it as the manifestation of the Spirit
-
in a man is given for another man to profit.
-
It means for the benefit of another man. Why?
-
Because you yourself have received the benefit
-
of the Spirit. Therefore, All that will benefit
-
from you. Right? He said, for each is given the
-
manifestation of the Spirit. The revelation of
-
the Spirit that is in them for common good. Right?
-
It's given for common good. It's the same thing
-
as Ezekiel 36, 26. It's the same thing as John
-
14. So, it's only explaining that now that you
-
have the Spirit working these things. Right?
-
Hence, it is when you receive the Holy Spirit,
-
you walk in these things that I'm listing. And
-
it's saying that this list is for those that
-
will receive it. It's for those that will receive
-
it. So, is the manifestation right? Is it demonstration?
-
No, it's not demonstration. Let's go to demonstration
-
1 Corinthians 2 and see. 1 Corinthians 2. 1 Corinthians
-
2 from verse 1. He said, and when I came to you,
-
brothers, did not come proclaiming to you the
-
testimony of God with lofty speech or wisdom,
-
right? For I decided to know nothing among you
-
except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. And I
-
was with you in weakness and in fear and more
-
trembling. And with my speech, my message, were
-
not implausible words of wisdom, but the demonstration
-
of the Spirit, which is power, so that your faith
-
might not rest. in the wisdom of men, but in
-
the power of God. My not resting words, in the
-
wisdom of men, but in the power of God. So Paul
-
is saying that, you know, as I preach the gospel,
-
right? In my speech, I do not come in just the
-
preaching of the gospel, but the preaching of
-
the gospel is followed by the demonstration of
-
the things of the spirits, which is powerful.
-
So here is actually demonstration. Over here
-
is demonstration. Paul is demonstrating. As he
-
is preaching the gospel, as he is explaining
-
to them, he is demonstrating the abundance of
-
the power of God. So is there demonstration?
-
Yes, there is demonstration. The reason why we
-
explain scripture like this is that we want to
-
use the right scripture to explain the right
-
practice. Do we get it? We try to use the right
-
scripture to explain the right practice, right?
-
So there's demonstration of things of spirit,
-
right? Demonstration of the things of the spirit.
-
Praise God. So it's given to every man, to prophets.
-
Now, this one is the one that's, I think we have
-
been talking about it for a while, but we need
-
to talk about it now. When you receive, when
-
you are functioning in the gifts, Right? When
-
you're functioning in any of the gifts, when
-
you're functioning in any of the gifts, you are
-
not ministering to yourself. Okay? You are not
-
ministering to yourself. You are ministering
-
to somebody. The recipient is the person that
-
will receive. Then somebody else will now come
-
and what? Minister unto you. That is why in chapter
-
14, it says, verse 26, When them brethren, when
-
you come together, each of you has something
-
to give. Do you get it? So everybody come because
-
we have something to give, right? This is not,
-
you know, they say we have come to a generation
-
where everybody comes to church to just receive,
-
right? You receive from your pastor. You receive
-
both financially and spiritually and economically
-
and politically and in all forms, educationally.
-
You just want to receive. Now minister to your
-
pastor, spiritually too. You still want to be
-
laid out on you. Ah, no, no. It doesn't work
-
like that. We all, when we come together, we
-
do what? We have something to give. He said,
-
each of you has a hymn, a lesson, a revelation,
-
a tongue, an interpretation. Let all things be
-
done for building up. We are building each other
-
up. Right? So it is to give. So I cannot say,
-
I want to minister to myself. Right? That's not
-
a practice we see there. Okay. So the recipient
-
is the one, right? That's will receive. The recipient
-
is the one, right? So the word profit with all
-
is some Pharaoh, right? Some Pharaoh. Some Pharaoh
-
is the word S U M P H E R O. S U M P H E R O.
-
S U M P H E R O. So when we begin to receive
-
teachings in this direction, we should know that
-
we want to some Pharaoh, right? We want to do
-
it. Give something to each other, common advantage.
-
So you must be prepared to give. Regularly when
-
you say the believers meeting, you must set your
-
heart. I'm going to pray in tongues. I'm going
-
to give an interpretation. I'm going to prophesy.
-
I'm going to walk in healing. I'm going to walk
-
in faith for my brother. I have the word of wisdom
-
regarding my sister. I have the word of all.
-
I have the signing of spirit. I discern for them.
-
I walk in the things of the spirit. This is how
-
you come. You don't just come. You have to prepare
-
your mind. You have to prepare your hearts. that
-
this is what you want to do. That is why he says,
-
as you will. He giveth every man as the man wills.
-
So the Spirit allows you to function in those
-
things because you have willed. You have set
-
your heart to function in interpretation of tongues.
-
You have set your heart to prophesy to someone
-
as you will. So, it is for the common good. The
-
common good there is used because you give me
-
and I give you. Right? That's why we hold each
-
other to. This is where the practice is, right?
-
We hold each other to. Minister to somebody that
-
the person must minister to you back. That is
-
the common good. That is the common good. Every
-
man that has believed the gospel can give the
-
things of the Spirit, can minister the things
-
of the Spirit. So, let's see. Other scriptures
-
that use the word the prophet without. Other
-
scriptures that use the word the prophet without.
-
We'll just write it down. We'll just write it
-
down. We'll just write it down. We'll do a few
-
little bit of practice before we go for break.
-
We'll do practice now. We have thoughts and therefore
-
let it be. There's more teaching coming. This
-
is just introduction to the gift of the Spirit.
-
So, Mediatim is introduction one and two. All
-
these things that I've been saying since morning.
-
It's just introduction. So, when Pastor Kirsten
-
comes, we'll take it up again. Alright, so. And
-
other scriptures that we can find some fair.
-
1 Corinthians 6, 12. Right? Everything is loveful
-
to me, but not everything is expedient. 1 Corinthians
-
6, 12. Right? 1 Corinthians 7 .35. 1 Corinthians
-
7 .35. 1 Corinthians 10 .23. 1 Corinthians 10
-
.23. All right, good. So this is actually, now
-
for demonstration of the spirit, can you write
-
this down? The demonstration of the spirit. Can
-
you write it down? Can I write the Greek quote
-
down? Then we find where it's used. Apodexis,
-
A -P -O, right? That word demonstration, which
-
is different from manifestation. A -P -O -D -E
-
-I -X -I -S. A -P -O -D -E -I -X -I -S. So this
-
is demonstration of the power of God. It means
-
that Paul was doing something that is visible.
-
Okay? Something that is visible. Something that
-
is observable. Something that can be seen in
-
the physical. Right? Something that can be acknowledged
-
in the physical. That's the demonstration of
-
the Spirit, right? Something that can be acknowledged
-
in the physical. So now we can see, right? We
-
can see after this introduction that the same
-
Spirit from Genesis dwells in us, right? The
-
same Spirit from Genesis dwells in us. We all
-
have the same Spirit and this Spirit functions
-
through every one of us. We can walk in all the
-
gifts, right? We can walk with, do we agree on
-
that? We saw that from the scripture. We are
-
under the same authority of Christ to function
-
and minister what is in Christ to each other.
-
Are we together? Yes, we can minister what is
-
in Christ to each other. We can minister. As
-
I minister, I minister to my brother for his
-
edification and somebody minister to me for my
-
what? Edification. Glory to God. Can we be on
-
our feet? Let's do this now. A little bit of
-
practice. A little bit of practice. Let's just
-
hold each other. Let's hold. Just pick one person.
-
Pick one person. Quickly, quickly, quickly. Let's
-
minister to one another. Now, I've told you the
-
gifts. I've told you the gifts. As you desire,
-
I want you to desire. I want you to desire. Just
-
hold one person. Hold one person. Desire this
-
gift. As you desire, the Spirit will give you
-
To function in these things, right? Let's hold
-
each other quickly. As we desire. As we desire.
-
As we desire. So we start. How do we do it? We
-
start by praying in tongues, right? We start
-
by praying in tongues, right? Ultrons. The ultrons
-
of tongues is supernatural, right? It guides
-
us to flow in what? In the gift of the Spirit,
-
okay? It guides us to flow in the gift. So when
-
you see that, when the message is preached, one
-
of the first signs is what? Tongues. It just
-
flows, right? It's the space of the believer,
-
right? So we will pray in tongues now and we
-
will minister to each other. So you know the
-
gifts, right? You know them in your mind. You
-
have the power gift, which is healing faith,
-
right? You have walking of miracles. You can
-
desire that and you can walk in it. We have the
-
Ultron's gift. You have tongues. You have interpretation
-
of tongues and we have prophecy in there. You
-
can desire that. We have revelation, word of
-
wisdom, word of knowledge, right? And the sermon.
-
You can have that. You have it in you. Rather,
-
you can walk in that. You can flow in that. Can
-
we begin to pray in tongues? Thank you for listening
-
to today's sermon. Your journey matters to us.
