  1. Welcome to NECF. We're thrilled you're here.

  2. Make sure to stay with us till the end, where

  3. we'll share some great resources to deepen your

  4. faith. Now, let's dive into this week's sermon.

  5. Hope we've been able to have some time to rest.

  6. You know, a time is coming where we will have

  7. it on a calm ground. No going home. You'll come

  8. with your back and your things. You know, that's

  9. where everybody will be. You just go home and

  10. rest two minutes and come back. We'll not be

  11. closing 5 p .m. We'll be closing like 9 p .m.

  12. or 10 p .m. You know, so that all of us will

  13. enjoy what God is doing. Praise God. Yes. So

  14. we appreciate God for the opportunity to be here

  15. and then to continue. Amen. Yes, so I believe

  16. revelational knowledge has come to us. Praise

  17. God. Hallelujah. We walk in revelational knowledge

  18. because it's our reality. Amen. Praise God. The

  19. eyes of our understanding has been flooded and

  20. it will continue to be flooded with light. Praise

  21. God. And we know who we are in Christ Jesus more.

  22. And we know the hope of our calling in Christ

  23. Jesus. Praise God. Hallelujah. We know what to

  24. do regarding the work of faith. Amen. When I

  25. say work of faith, I mean W -O -R -K. The work

  26. of ministry. Praise God. We know how we ought

  27. to conduct ourselves in the things of the supernatural.

  28. Praise God. One of the words I received this

  29. morning for every one of us is that let's desire

  30. to operate more in the supernatural. Let's desire

  31. more, desire more, desire more, desire more,

  32. desire more, desire more. Let me just put it

  33. with an example, just like an example in a way,

  34. you know, in the natural, you know, it's not

  35. everybody that has desire to be wealthy. You

  36. know, some people don't desire to be wealthy.

  37. Some people just desire to just be just normal.

  38. They don't desire to be on the top list, right?

  39. But I tell you, nobody desires to be poor. Nobody,

  40. nobody desires. Even Satan mimics wealth, right?

  41. Nobody desires to be poor, right? Yes, so everybody

  42. desires to have a normal life where you eat,

  43. you drink, you live, you move around, and then

  44. your needs are met. So that's constant desire

  45. to ensure that your account has some small currency

  46. inside, right? Always put us on the move to work.

  47. So you're either into entrepreneurship or you're

  48. working for someone and you're being paid. Right?

  49. Yeah, so that desire is there to just leave your

  50. bed even when you don't feel like it. And then

  51. you're up there in the lecture room 7 a .m. You

  52. know, when you're supposed to be resting, you

  53. wake up 2 a .m. Till 2 a .m. you're preparing

  54. notes. Just so that someone's life can be balanced.

  55. Likewise, when it comes to the things of the

  56. spirit, desire. Amen. Praise God. Desire, desire,

  57. desire. Your desire should never grow cold. Your

  58. desire should always be hot on fire. Praise God.

  59. Your desire should always be what? Hot on fire.

  60. Amen. Praise God. Yes. So yesterday we stopped

  61. at the definition of tongues. Praise God. So,

  62. we've been discussing about utterance gifts.

  63. And we say utterance gifts are gifts that do

  64. what? That say something in or by the Spirit.

  65. Praise God. Hallelujah. Yes. So, and then in

  66. utterance gifts, we have three. What and what?

  67. We have tongues. Interpretation of tongues and

  68. what? Prophecy. Amen. Hallelujah. Yes. So, we

  69. laid some foundation. Even though it's not a

  70. foundation, but we build on what others have

  71. already laid. Amen? Yeah, so we'll continue from

  72. where we stopped. Praise God. Yeah, so we stopped

  73. at a definition, right, of tongues. And we say,

  74. if you check your notes, we use the word, the

  75. Greek word for tongue is the word what? Glosa

  76. or lalia, right? Yeah, so here in my notes, I

  77. wrote glosa lalia. Just like the word. Amen?

  78. Yeah, so glossa or lalia, which refers to a dialect.

  79. Even though when you check language, right, in

  80. the Greek word is dialectos. Right? You see dialectos.

  81. So in speaking, you see a dialect slash language

  82. in speaking, talking or uttering words. Amen?

  83. Yeah, so tongue in itself is glossa. Right? Tongue

  84. in itself is what? Glossa. Lalia, the art of

  85. speaking. Dialectos is language, intelligent

  86. communication, so that people can understand

  87. what you're saying. So what you're hearing me,

  88. why you're hearing me and you're understanding

  89. what I'm saying, right, is because I'm speaking

  90. with an intelligent words that your mind and

  91. your hearing, your perception can relate to,

  92. right? Yeah, so I'm speaking English language.

  93. That's what dialectos is. D -I -A -K -L -E -T

  94. -O -S. Right? Yeah, so that is why you're understanding

  95. what I'm saying. Praise God. Yeah, so we say

  96. tongues, right? Hence, it's a primary supernatural

  97. ability in the spirit of the believer. Praise

  98. God. Yeah, so tongues is where? In the spirit

  99. of the believer. We've learned that Tongues is

  100. a diversity of the spirit in the believer. Amen.

  101. Hallelujah. So what we mean yesterday, we said

  102. diuresis, right? We have a singular thing and

  103. then from it, we have separations, right? We

  104. have divisions. And then we now taught yesterday

  105. contextually from 1 Corinthians, you know, 12

  106. verse 7, right? And what did we learn there?

  107. We learned that the unveiling of the spirit in

  108. the believer, right? When the spirit is made

  109. bare, this and much more are the things we see

  110. that are made manifest through the believer.

  111. Praise God. So we said in verse 8, 9, and 10,

  112. to one is giving this and that. To another is

  113. giving this, this, this. And we're able to now,

  114. you know, discuss it and then check the matter.

  115. And we came to a conclusion. Right? That when

  116. the scripture said to one, it does not mean he's

  117. talking about divisions to individuals. Praise

  118. God. So how did we know that from the scriptures?

  119. How did we come by that conclusion? All of us,

  120. we saw it in the scripture. Praise God. Hallelujah.

  121. So, verse 8, 9, and 10. was a demonstrative pronoun,

  122. right? To be able to emphasize more about verse

  123. 7. Hallelujah. Praise God. So, the actor in verse

  124. 7 is the Holy Ghost. Amen? The main subject in

  125. verse 7 is what? Is the Holy Ghost. So, out of

  126. the Holy Ghost, now we see givings to the believer.

  127. Praise God. So the Holy Spirit is the gift himself.

  128. Amen. And so when that gift is open, then we

  129. begin to see word of wisdom. Then we begin to

  130. see word of knowledge. Then we begin to see the

  131. prophetic. Then we begin to see tongues and interpretation

  132. of tongues. We see healings. We see walking of

  133. miracles and much more. Praise God. Was that

  134. clear yesterday? Was it clear yesterday? So,

  135. you know. that will actually align with all that

  136. we've been learning that the believer has received

  137. everything within him. Praise God. So because

  138. if we say that it's in portions, then that will

  139. contradict all that we've been learning. So big

  140. question will be, when will I have my own other

  141. portion? Do I need to fast and pray for me to

  142. now have the prophetic? Do I need to, you know,

  143. some people are still waiting for that day where

  144. one atmosphere will just come upon them and then

  145. they will begin to pray in tongues. You know,

  146. some people are waiting for, he said, why is

  147. it that you have not prayed in tongues so far?

  148. He said, I'm waiting for that day. Because I

  149. know it's not yet my day. Oh, for the believer,

  150. it's always your day. Hallelujah. Yes, it's always

  151. our day. It's always our day. Always, always,

  152. always. We don't wait upon another day to come.

  153. Amen? Praise God. Why? Because we have a knowing

  154. that we have received of the Spirit of God all

  155. things. Praise God. And those things are not

  156. in the air. They are within our spirit man. Amen?

  157. And out of them, we now see their manifestation.

  158. We see their operation. Praise God. So now, having

  159. said that, right? Let's read Mark chapter 16

    Mark 16 chapter mention

  160. again, verse 17. Mark chapter 16, verse 17. Please,

    Mark 16:17

  161. don't show this. Thank you. I love you. Thank

  162. you. Everybody open your Bible. Mark chapter

    Mark 16 chapter mention

  163. 16. Verse 17, everybody. Verse 17. He said, and

  164. these signs will do what? Shall follow them that

  165. believe. Hallelujah. And we say, who are the

  166. day? The believers, right? Yes. So the believers

  167. and Pastor Fred said, even the one that got saved

  168. now, praise God, not the one that will get saved.

  169. And then we now say, let her on. Your spirit

  170. will come. Let her on. Your gifts will, you know,

  171. when you come into Christ, you know, you have

  172. to take some time. You know how many years I've

  173. been in this faith? I've been here for 25 years.

  174. And my own king, when I clock 20. My heavens

  175. opened. In fact, they used the word breakthrough.

  176. My breakthrough opened when I was at 20. That

  177. was when I began to speak in new tongues. That

  178. was when I began to cast out devils. That was

  179. when I took up serpents. That was when I drank

  180. deadly things that never hurt me. That was when

  181. I laid hands on the sick and they got recovered.

  182. At 20 years exactly, not one day extra or one

  183. day lesser. You see, the way of God is mysterious.

  184. If mine took 20, yours might be 35. No. Praise

  185. God. The day you got saved, that day, let me

  186. say it strongly, the day you got saved, that

  187. day, you have the ability in you to lay hands

  188. on the sick and the sick gets healed. Hallelujah.

  189. The day you get saved, that day in you, you have

  190. the ability to speak with new tongues. Praise

  191. God. The day you got saved, that day you can

  192. cast out devils. That day, on the spur of the

  193. moment. Let me not use the word day so that you

  194. not think it is morning you got saved and then

  195. night, then the thing is happening. Let me put

  196. it this way so that it will be a current reality.

  197. At the position where you got saved, as you are

  198. standing there or you are seated there, you can

  199. cast out the devil. Praise God. Because the spirit

  200. of God. It's within you. Amen. So now, he said

  201. they cast out devils. They shall speak with what?

  202. With new what? With new tongues. Amen. So let's

  203. look at Genesis 11 .1. Genesis 11 .1, very first,

  204. where it was first mentioned, where tongues was

  205. first mentioned. Genesis 11 .1. And we'll see

  206. that we understand how it's related to what we

  207. are discussing this morning. Genesis 11 verse

    Genesis 11:1

  208. 1. And the whole earth was of one what? One language.

  209. Amen. The whole earth was of what? One language.

  210. Right? And one speech. And it came to pass as

  211. they journeyed from the east that they found

  212. a plain in what? In the land of Shinar and they

  213. dwelled there three. And they said to another,

  214. go let us make brick. and burned them thoroughly,

  215. and they had brick for stone, and slime had they

  216. for mortar. And they said, Go, let us build us

  217. a city and a tower, whose top may reach up unto

  218. heaven, and let us make us a name, lest we be

  219. scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.

  220. And the Lord came down to see the city and the

  221. tower, with the children of men built it. Six.

  222. And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one,

  223. and they all have what? What's your Bible say?

  224. And they all have what? One language. So Bible

  225. underline the word language, right? And this

  226. they begin to do and now nothing will be restrained

  227. from them which they have what? Imagine. So out

  228. of their imagination, they came out with this

  229. because they have one what? Language. Seven.

  230. Go let us go down and there confound their what?

  231. Language that they may not what? Understand.

  232. So the first time we are seeing language is being

  233. spoken here is relating to understanding. Amen?

  234. Yes, so please write it somewhere. Everywhere

  235. I see language, language equals to understanding.

  236. Language equals to understanding. You can add

  237. another equals to again. Edification. Language

  238. equals to understanding. You can add another

  239. equal today as what? Edification. You know why

  240. I asked us to do that. Amen. So the word language

  241. in that place, the Hebrew word for that word

  242. language is Sapa. It's not Sapa. S -A -P -A.

  243. You know, I was going through it. I said, some

  244. people say Sapa. No, no, no. It's not Sapa. Amen.

  245. S -A what? P -A. Language. The Hebrew word for

  246. language from the first time it's mentioned here

  247. is what? Sapa. S -A what? P -A. Praise God. And

  248. the word speech. You see it says, verse 1 says,

  249. and the whole ad was of one language. And of

  250. one what? Speech. So you see, in language, there

  251. is what? There is speech. There is speaking.

  252. Amen. Because once there is no speaking, understanding

  253. will not be there. Praise God. So that word speech

  254. there. Amen. Is Daba. Daba, which means a mode

  255. of communication. Daba is D -A -B -A -R. So we

  256. have the word language as supper, right? And

  257. then we have what? Speech, daba, which implies

  258. what? A mode of communication. Praise God. So

  259. we saw the whole earth had a mode of what? Communication.

  260. Praise God. They had a mode of what? Communication.

  261. There was a manner in which words were uttered.

  262. So the key issue about language always is understanding.

  263. Amen? Yeah, so every time I come into this place,

  264. the only way, if I come here now, I start to

  265. speak my dialect, right, from my state. Ah, how

  266. many people can understand now? Okay. Maybe he

  267. knows one or two things from the past. I don't

  268. know whether he can really, you know. When I

  269. come here, for example, I say, who can say what

  270. I just said now? Oh, I say, what am I saying?

  271. You sense of me. Oh, you sense of it. How about

  272. unedo dot? Uh -uh. Uh -uh. Uh -huh. So you see,

  273. a mode of what? Communication. No understanding.

  274. But you see, when people start communicating,

  275. right, a mode of communication that is unique

  276. to them, what do you expect that will prevail

  277. in this understanding? Praise God. Hallelujah.

  278. Hallelujah. So now, let's see 2 Kings 18, 26.

  279. And then let's see again another word language.

  280. You realize that everywhere you see language,

  281. you'll see what? Understanding. Amen. Everywhere

  282. you see language, you'll see what? Understanding.

  283. 2 Kings 18, 26. Then said Eliakim, the son of

  284. Hilkiah and Shepna and Joah and Rapshaka, speak,

  285. I pray thee, to thy servants in the Syrian, in

  286. the Syrian language, for we understand it and

  287. talk not with us in what? In the Jews language,

  288. in the ears of the people that are what? That

  289. are on the wall. They want to enter a secret

  290. mood. Amen. Speak to us in Syrian language that

  291. we may what? Understand. We may understand. Esther

  292. 1 .22. Esther 1 .22. Somebody should read for

  293. us very fast. Can you see? He sent the script

  294. to what? To every empire in what? In their own

  295. language. And what? And scripts. So if there

  296. was anybody that was speaking a different language,

  297. right? The scripts was translated in their language,

  298. right? So that they could do what? They could

  299. understand. Praise God. Amen? So one more and

  300. then we move on. Psalms 114 verse 1. Psalms 114

    Psalms 114:1 Psalms 114:1

  301. verse 1. Psalms 114 verse 1. Are we all here?

    Psalms 114:1

  302. When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob,

  303. a what? From a people of what? Of strange what?

  304. Language. A strange language. When Israel went

  305. out of Egypt, the house of what? Jacob. A people

  306. of what? Strange language. They had a unique

  307. language that is different from the societal

  308. language. Amen. Praise God. Then add this as

  309. extra Isaiah 36, 13, and then you can be able

  310. to now put it as an extra reference. I believe

  311. people online, they are following us carefully

  312. as we go through the scripture. Yes, so the main

  313. discourse at the moment is that what? Language

  314. connects what? Understanding. Praise God. Hallelujah.

  315. So now, we're going to look at very fast what

  316. happened because We see in Mark chapter 16. Let's

    Mark 16 chapter mention

  317. go to Mark chapter 16 again. Don't get tired

    Mark 16 chapter mention

  318. of going back there because we're going to stay

  319. there. Mark chapter 16, 17, it says, in my name,

    Mark 16 chapter mention

  320. they shall cast out devils and they shall speak

  321. with what? New tongues because now tongues have

  322. never been experienced on the earth. Amen. Yes,

  323. that's never been experienced. So Christ will

  324. say upon my resurrection, there will be a new

  325. sign that will follow us many that will believe.

  326. And one of the signs is that what? In my name,

  327. they shall speak what? New tongues. In what I've

  328. done in my resurrection, right? The benefit of

  329. my resurrection, the significance of my resurrection

  330. to them that believe. One of the signs, you remember

  331. yesterday we talked about sign, right? Simeon,

  332. you remember, right? Yes, we say, what is sign?

  333. What is sign? Yes, an indication, right? Yes,

  334. an evidence. Amen? Yes, so in my name, one of

  335. the evidence that will follow them that believe,

  336. right, is that they will speak with what? With

  337. other tongues, with new tongues. Praise God.

  338. And we see he was telling the disciples now at

  339. the moment, right? And then let's go to now Luke

  340. now. Luke 24. Let me just jump ahead of myself.

  341. Luke 24. Luke 24. Verse 48. And here are witnesses

  342. of these things. 49. And behold, I sent the promise

  343. of my father upon you, but tarry ye in the city

  344. of what? Jerusalem, until ye be endued with what?

  345. Power on high. Praise God. That soon. Sorry.

  346. The promise is going to be fulfilled upon you.

  347. Praise God. And then shortly, we see that happening

  348. in Acts chapter 2. We see that happening in Acts

Acts 2 chapter mention Acts 2 chapter mention

  349. chapter 2. He said, them that believe, they shall

  350. speak with what? With new tongues. Acts chapter

    Acts 2 chapter mention

  351. 2. And when the day of Pentecost was fully come,

  352. they were all with one accord in what? In one

  353. place. Praise God. And suddenly, there came a

  354. what? A sound from heaven as of air. as of a

  355. rushing mighty wind and it filled the whole house

  356. where they were what? Sitting. Praise God. And

  357. there appeared unto them cloven tongues like

  358. as of fire and it sat upon each of them. I don't

  359. know how they saw it. And they were all filled

  360. with what? With the Holy Ghost. And they began

  361. to speak with other tongues as the Spirit gave

  362. them what? Utterance. And these signs shall follow

  363. them that what? That belief. In my name, they

  364. shall speak with what? With new tongues. And

  365. the first time we have seen such an experience

  366. happening, right? It's in Acts chapter 2. And

    Acts 2 chapter mention

  367. in his name, they were all together in one accord,

  368. right? And the Holy Ghost gave them utterance

  369. as they speak with what? With new tongues. You

  370. will never see anywhere, anybody, that experience

  371. happen. This is the first time on the earth.

  372. That is happening. Praise God. First time. And

  373. this happens shortly upon Jesus' resurrection

  374. and ascension. Praise God. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.

  375. So we want to understand what is the event. What

  376. really happened in Acts chapter 2 because it's

    Acts 2 chapter mention

  377. important. Amen. That will really help us to

  378. build what we are building now. Because whatever

  379. we see happening with them in Acts of the Apostles

  380. is happening with us now. Praise God. Because

  381. the Holy Ghost that is in them is the Holy Ghost

  382. that is in us now. Praise God. So now let's start

  383. from this way in a way of starting. Right? That

  384. they began to speak in other tongues as the Holy

  385. Ghost gave them what? Authorance. Because they

  386. had the Holy Ghost in them. Amen? Amen? So now

  387. we can say conclusively that if they spoke in

  388. other tongues as the Holy Ghost gave them utterance,

  389. then we also ought to speak in other tongues

  390. because the Holy Ghost is giving us what? Utterance.

  391. Are we all together on this? Is that an established

  392. truth? Is it an established truth? It's established

  393. on this understanding because we all believed.

  394. Praise God. Hallelujah. Because we all believed.

  395. You know, the other lady that came out and then

  396. we're saying that we're prayed for now here and

  397. then they spoke in tongues. She said, when I'm

  398. saying it, it's like I don't understand what

  399. I'm saying. I said, that's it. Because we're

  400. coming to this place, how does tongue sound?

  401. We're going to come to it here. I said, that

  402. is it. He said, it's only one, one or two things

  403. I'm saying. I said, yes, that's it. You have

  404. gotten it. I said, he pointed at Pastor Victor.

  405. He said, my own is not like his own. I said,

  406. your own will not be like his own because when

  407. he started out too, he didn't start out this

  408. way. But I told her, I said, you see, in this

  409. whole... Nobody started out the way you're seeing

  410. them. In the house, I don't spend like 30 minutes.

  411. Maybe I'll just say, and then switch to English.

  412. I'll just say, I said, that is it. You have gotten

  413. it. I said, so what will happen is, be bold about

  414. it. As you continue to say, as you continue to

  415. pray it out, as you continue to pray it out,

  416. you get better at it. You get better at it. You

  417. get better at it. You get better at it. You get

  418. better. I told her, I cannot remember when I

  419. started speaking in tongues. What I uttered,

  420. I cannot remember. Let me say something now that

  421. happened. So when I was praying with her, We're

  422. praying. She now started speaking. She was speaking.

  423. I said, yes, be bold. She was taking it. She

  424. was taking it. She was taking it. Let me say

  425. it now, this way now, right? Her syllables began

  426. to change. She was saying it. She was saying

  427. it. I said, the way it's happening, that's how,

  428. now you're saying, maybe it's two minutes. It's

  429. three minutes. Continue. Continue. Continue.

  430. It's going to be five minutes. It's going to

  431. be 10 minutes. It's going to be 30 minutes. It's

  432. going to be one hour. It's going to be, you know,

  433. some time ago. We prayed in tongues, right? We

  434. prayed, prayed, prayed, prayed, prayed. One hour,

  435. two hours, three hours, four hours, five, six,

  436. seven, eight, nine, ten hours. Eleven, twelve,

  437. thirteen, fourteen hours. How does the song,

  438. the sound or the tongue sound? You get it here.

  439. Some of you want the tongue to be sweet. You

  440. want it to be sounding sweet in your head. You

  441. say, you know, I'm in the spirit now. That is

  442. when I say, you know, so I think I'm in the spirit

  443. now because the things I'm saying is making sense

  444. to me. Hallelujah. Praise God. You know, so when

  445. I was praying, she said, when I was praying for

  446. her, you know, I not got a word, right? One of

  447. the things I saw is that I had in my heart. That

  448. her mom, right, is into entrepreneurship. And

  449. then the dad is a civil servant. I heard it.

  450. How? I don't know. By the Spirit. Praise God.

  451. And I asked her and she confirmed it. And we

  452. prayed regarding the direction, regarding that

  453. information that we received. Hallelujah. Praise

  454. God. And you know, she's here. And she's willing

  455. to pray more in tongues. Hallelujah. Yeah, the

  456. other lady too is here. And they are willing

  457. today. They are going to pray more in tongues.

  458. You know, you're not going to only pray in tongues.

  459. You're going to interpret your tongues. Hallelujah.

  460. You're going to give us a word of prophecy. The

  461. two of you. By the Spirit. Don't be doing like

  462. this with your eyes. She's doing like this with

  463. her eyes. The same way you spoke in tongues.

  464. The ability to prophesy is inside you. Praise

  465. God. Let's hear Pastor Kosti. Yesterday you said

  466. you'll be serious. And now, this is what you

  467. are doing to us. So the first time we see tongues

  468. was ever experienced in Acts chapter 2. Amen?

    Acts 2 chapter mention

  469. Yeah, I'm back to my serious face. Yeah, so the

  470. first time we see tongues was ever experienced

  471. in what? Acts chapter 2. And what we see, what

    Acts 2 chapter mention

  472. we see, first that we are seeing, is that the

  473. Holy Spirit didn't come to hold. You see, when

  474. Christ said that, in my name, They that believe

  475. shall speak in new tongues. He didn't say that

  476. in my name, I have a system that I will come

  477. and take hold of their tongue and begin to pray.

  478. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. He didn't say that.

  479. And if you see, Jesus was careful with his words.

  480. He said, they are the ones that shall speak.

  481. However, within them, there will be an ability.

  482. Amen. And that's my spirit at work in them. But

  483. they are the ones that will do what? That will

  484. speak. And we see, because they had Jesus' instructions

  485. in detail and carefully. So they knew that they

  486. were filled with the spirit of God. And they

  487. knew that all trans has been given to them. So

  488. what was the next thing that they did? They began

  489. to speak. Hallelujah. Praise God. Today you know

  490. that the Spirit of God is in you. Hallelujah.

  491. And today you know that all trans is given to

  492. you. Hallelujah. And what you're supposed to

  493. be doing is that you should be participating.

  494. Praise God. You should begin to speak. You should

  495. begin to prophesy. You should begin to lay house

  496. on the sick. You should begin to give word of

  497. wisdom. Begin to give word of knowledge. Because

  498. you know that the Spirit of God is within you.

  499. Hallelujah. So now, verse 4. And they were all

  500. filled with the Holy Ghost and began to speak

  501. with other tongues as the Spirit gave them what?

  502. As the Spirit gave them utterance. Praise God.

  503. Hallelujah. Now, let's just read a little bit

  504. down. Five. And there were dwelling at Jerusalem

  505. Jews, devout men out of every nation under heaven.

  506. Praise God. Now, when this was noised abroad,

  507. the multitude came together and were confounded,

  508. confused at what they were saying. Right? The

  509. first time they came to that atmosphere, they

  510. saw them. That was what was happening. They were

  511. first confused. They were confounded. They were

  512. confounded. Amen. But now see what happened now.

  513. See the next statement. Because that every man

  514. had them what? Speak in his own what? Language.

  515. The first thing they saw from that atmosphere.

  516. You see, in fact, that statement say. It was

  517. noise abroad. The people there didn't give us

  518. the exact thing that was happening. And information

  519. went abroad. But what was the first thing they

  520. saw? They had them, they spoke in what? In tongues.

  521. Hallelujah. But the next thing that now they

  522. began to hear was not tongues again. Praise God.

  523. What they had was now they are what? Their language.

  524. From what we have discussed over when these statements

  525. say they had them speak in their own language,

  526. what comes to your mind? So which means what?

  527. They understood what they were saying. Praise

  528. God. So there was a time where they didn't understand

  529. what they were saying. But now later on, they

  530. now understand what they were what? They were

  531. saying. Praise God. And what were they saying?

  532. And they were all amazed and marveled, saying

  533. one to another, behold, are all these what? Are

  534. not all these words which speak Galileans? And

  535. how hear we every man in our own words, language

  536. wherein we were born? Praise God. Parthians,

  537. right? Medes, Elamites, and dwellers of Mesopotamia,

  538. and in Judea and Cappadocia, in Pontus and Asia,

  539. Phrygia, Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in parts of

  540. Libya, Abbas, Syrian. And strangers of Rome,

  541. Jews and proselytes, Cretans and Arabians, we

  542. do hear them speak in our tongues. The what?

  543. The wonderful works of who? Of God. So what did

  544. they hear them speak in their own language? The

  545. wonderful works of who? Of God. This is important

  546. to what is happening here today. Pay attention.

  547. Praise God. Pay attention. So we see a fulfillment

  548. of that which Christ has spoken. In Mark chapter

    Mark 16 chapter mention

  549. 16, where we've read in Luke chapter 24, 49,

    Luke 24 chapter mention

  550. even in Acts chapter 1, verse 8, we see a fulfillment

    Acts 1:8

  551. of what Christ instructed them, told them. From

  552. Mark chapter 16, in Luke chapter 24, we read

Mark 16 chapter mention Luke 24 chapter mention

  553. it, right? And then in Acts chapter 1 verse 8,

    Acts 1:8

  554. you shall receive power after the Holy Ghost

  555. has come upon you and you shall be my witnesses.

  556. Amen. We see a fulfillment of that scripture

  557. upon them in Acts chapter 2. Praise God. So now

    Acts 2 chapter mention

  558. when we go back to Acts chapter 2, one of the

    Acts 2 chapter mention

  559. things we started seeing first, he said, and

  560. suddenly there came a sound from where? From

  561. heaven as of a rushing mighty wind. Amen. That

  562. filled the house where they were sitting. And

  563. there appeared upon them cloven tongues like

  564. as of a what? Fire. Praise God. So we see that.

  565. Let's go to Ezekiel chapter 1. We now realize

    Ezekiel 1 chapter mention

  566. why Luke had to give us this rendition. Ezekiel

    Ezekiel 1 chapter mention

  567. chapter 1. Ezekiel chapter 1, everybody. Ezekiel

Ezekiel 1 chapter mention Ezekiel 1:3–4

  568. chapter 1, verse 3 to 4. The word of the Lord

  569. came expressly unto Ezekiel the priest, the son

  570. of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the

  571. river Chebar. And the hand of the Lord was what?

  572. Was there upon him. This discourse will be explained

  573. much more later, right? But the hand of the Lord,

  574. just talking about the presence of the Lord,

  575. was upon him. Amen? Right? And I looked and behold,

  576. a wild wind came out of what? Out of the north.

  577. Now, that's verse four. Rendition is to be able

  578. to say what is happening as the hand of the Lord

  579. came. Amen? A wild wind came out of the north,

  580. a great cloud and a fire enfolding itself and

  581. a brightness was about it and out of the mist

  582. thereof, as of the color of amber, out of the

  583. mist of what? Out of the midst of fire. And also,

  584. out of the midst thereof came the likeness of

  585. what? Of four living what? Creatures. What he

  586. saw. What he saw as the hand of the Lord did

  587. what? Came upon him. Praise God. Then we now

  588. see Exodus 19, 16. You see, you now clearly understand

  589. why Luke had to be able to paint. Almost similar

  590. picture for us here. Exodus 19 verse 16. Thank

    Exodus 19:16

  591. you, Holy Spirit. And it came to pass on that

  592. third day in the morning that there were what?

  593. Thunders and lightnings and a thick cloud upon

  594. the mount and the voice of the trumpet exceeding

  595. loud so that all the people were what? That was

  596. in the calm, they were what? They were trembled.

  597. Hallelujah. This was at Mount Sinai when the

  598. Lord came down. Praise God. Amen. So also what?

  599. Saying and depicting the picture of events, supernatural

  600. events. Amen. So now this will give us an idea

  601. why Luke will have to write or report such a

  602. similar event as such. Because Luke was not there

  603. when this event happened. Amen. He received a

  604. report about that, which we know now in this

  605. church about that. Amen? So now, he will now

  606. write it. Right? He now went down to write it

  607. as such also. He said, let's go back to Acts

    Acts 2 chapter mention

  608. chapter 2 so that you will now see how now Luke

  609. also wrote that. That Acts that we've been reading,

  610. don't get tired of because we are going to stay

  611. here all day. See now. And he said, and suddenly

  612. there came a sound from what? From heaven as

  613. a what? As a mighty rushing wind. Does it sound

  614. like where we are coming from? Does it look like

  615. where we are coming from? Does it look like it?

  616. Good now. See now. And it all filled the house

  617. where they were what? They were seated. And there

  618. appeared unto them cloven tongues as of what?

  619. Fire. Does it look like where we are coming from

  620. now? Yes. Praise God. So we see that speaking

  621. about light and fire, right? That he was writing

  622. about was to signify God's presence. He was signifying

  623. what? God's presence. An event that is supernatural.

  624. Hallelujah. An event that is what? Supernatural.

  625. An event that is supernatural. So now Luke will

  626. now use figures of speech to be able to now write

  627. such a communication. A sound from heaven as

  628. of a mighty what? Rushing wind. As of a mighty

  629. rushing wind. That word as of implies it wasn't

  630. literal. You know, we handle that in the cell

  631. meeting teaching. You know, when we say something

  632. is literal, what do we mean? Help me out. Allah,

  633. Allah. Taking, yes, no hidden meaning. Yes, same

  634. way. Praise God. Hallelujah. So, it was not literal

  635. from the word as of. It's a figurative statement

  636. that implies it wasn't what? Literal. In other

  637. words, there was no actual rushing mighty wind.

  638. Do you know, actual rushing, it will take the

  639. roof off. Amen. That word as of, a mighty rushing

  640. wind is a figurative statement. Amen. Because

  641. Luke was writing, he was writing. The event that

  642. happened. And he had to capture that event within

  643. the context of the whole scripture. Praise God.

  644. So he could not go and write it out of the scripture.

  645. Amen? So we see events like as we've read in

  646. Exodus and Ezekiel. And then we see Luke also

  647. writing in such a communication. That we see

  648. God's presence come into the room. We see these

  649. people filled with the spirit of God. And these

  650. are... And this and this happening to them. So

  651. it happened as a mighty what? Rushing wind. We

  652. see thunders. We saw lightnings. We saw earthquakes.

  653. Right? And then the voice of God came. Did they

  654. actually see earthquake? Amen. So it's like meeting

  655. somebody in this room. Right? In the next hours

  656. that we're going to be praying. And then the

  657. presence of God, feel here the glory of God revealed

  658. everywhere. There is so much strength inside

  659. us. And we are praying. Then somebody just walks

  660. in up here. He said, you know, when I got into

  661. this place, you know, there is so much power

  662. I saw. I saw lightnings everywhere. I saw fire

  663. everywhere. You know, the people will use fire

  664. because the energy they saw. Yesterday the man

  665. here came. He saw us were praying. He stood by

  666. the door and he was doing like this. And I woke

  667. up to him. He said, what is this happening? I

  668. said, we are praying. And I look, he smiled.

  669. He said, where are we? Because they understand

  670. more Orthodox and Protestant. He said, where

  671. are we? What he meant is that we, what kind are

  672. we? Are we Orthodox? We are protesting because

  673. they are used to that around here. I told him

  674. we're in the middle. He said, oh, he's carrying

  675. shit. He's a mix of this. I said, yes. That's

  676. the one that his mind can carry. If I begin to

  677. explain the Holy Ghost to him, I begin to, you

  678. say it's a mighty rushing wind. Someone that

  679. will now see that will what? Will pen that event.

  680. But you know what they saw? They never saw mighty

  681. rushing wind as of. Amen. The next line now,

  682. they never saw, they said there appeared unto

  683. them cloven tongue as of what? Fire. Never literal.

  684. What they saw in that room was just tongues.

  685. Praise God. It's just what? Tongues. Hallelujah.

  686. Praise God. What they saw is what? Tongues. So

  687. we see Luke will now pen that in his writings

  688. for us. One amazing, powerful thing is that no

  689. one in that room was exempted from that experience.

  690. Hallelujah. Everybody in that room spoke in other

  691. tongues to validate Jesus' statement that upon

  692. whom That believe, whosoever believe in my name,

  693. they shall speak with what? With new tongues.

  694. Everyone that was in that room spoke in what?

  695. In tongues. Tongues is for everyone that believes.

  696. Praise God. Everyone that believes. They were

  697. all filled with the Holy Ghost and they speak

  698. and they began to speak with what? With other

  699. tongues, as the Spirit gave them what? Utterance.

  700. So, verse 2 and 3. Amen. Are you all with me?

  701. Verse 2 and 3 just describes their experience

  702. of being filled with the Spirit of God. And that

  703. experience is speaking in tongues. Verse 2 and

  704. 3. Right? Mighty rushing winds, as of a fire.

  705. Right? Describes their what? Their experience.

  706. And what is the experience? What is the experience?

  707. They were all speaking with what? With other

  708. tongues as the Spirit gave them what? Authorance.

  709. Probably one of these meetings, one of these

  710. days you have had an experience. Let me say it

  711. now as I'm just passing by as an example. Maybe

  712. you just... You're praying, you're praying, you're

  713. praying. Suddenly, like something changed inside

  714. you. Like gears have changed. And then there

  715. was this energy that just surged inside you.

  716. There was this strength that surged inside your

  717. inner man. From nowhere, you increased the tempo.

  718. You increased the tempo. It's increasing. It's

  719. increasing. Someone saw that. You knelt down.

  720. And you kept praying. You kept praying fervently.

  721. Somebody will come in there and see that experience.

  722. And say, you know when I saw praise? Prince was

  723. just shaking. There was this shaking all around

  724. him. Let him say, I saw him praying in tongues,

  725. straight. He said, there was this shaking, shaking,

  726. shaking. You know, he knelt down. He was just

  727. shaking. He was shouting, to all the gods. He

  728. was shaking, you know. And he stood up and began

  729. to prophesy to everybody in the room. You see,

  730. all these things were all to describe what? The

  731. posture of his prayers. The experience. So verse

  732. 2 and 3. Right? Was to describe what? The experience.

  733. In verse what? In verse 4. Amen? And that experience

  734. is that what? They were speaking in what? In

  735. tongues. And all of them were speaking in tongues.

  736. All of them. All of them. I keep saying it. All

  737. of them spoke in what? In tongues. All of them.

  738. This is why I'm saying that. All of them spoke

  739. in tongues because all of them believed. So everyone

  740. that believes. These signs also what? Follow

  741. them. Are we all here? Are we all here? So the

  742. spirit gave them utterance as all of them what?

  743. Speak. Praise God. That word gave in verse 4.

  744. That word gave means didomai. That word gave.

  745. D -I -D -O -M -I. Didomai. Or didomi. I don't

  746. know. It's not my language. Didomai. Gave. That

  747. word gave. Didomai. You know, you understand

  748. why. Everything that we are doing here, please

  749. pay attention to it. Didomai. That word gave.

  750. And it means to offer unconditionally. To give

  751. unconditional supply for one's advantage. Didomai

  752. is to what? To give unconditionally, right? For

  753. one's advantage. To supply to one unconditionally

  754. for his what? For his advantage. Praise God.

  755. So the Holy Ghost gave them utterance for their

  756. what? Advantage. The believer has utterance from

  757. the Holy Ghost as his what? Advantage. Unconditional.

  758. When we say something is unconditional, it means

  759. that you never worked for it. You never worked

  760. for it. There is nothing you have done to earn

  761. it. Praise God. So the Holy Spirit supplied utterance

  762. unconditionally. And they understood that there

  763. is a supply. What is the next thing they began

  764. to do? They began to speak. Praise God. So we

  765. have received from the Father His Spirit unconditionally

  766. that we may know all the things that have been

  767. freely what? Given to us. So what we are going

  768. to do? We are going to jump at it and participate

  769. and enjoy it. Hallelujah. Because it's for our

  770. advantage. Praise God. So that word didomai,

  771. it means what? Unconditional. An unconditional

  772. supply for one's advantage. So in other words,

  773. we say the spirit received within the believer

  774. gave them unconditional supply of utterance.

  775. He gave them unconditional supply of what? Of

  776. utterance. Praise God. And then we see, that

  777. is why we see Luke will refer to this experience

  778. as that it is given and what? And received. Praise

  779. God. So when you give something, what happens?

  780. On the other side, it has to be what? Received.

  781. Praise God. So these men were filled with the

  782. Holy Ghost. They know the Holy Ghost has given

  783. them what? Utterance. And they have already what?

  784. Received it. So what will they do? They operate

  785. in it. Praise God. Let me say something now because

  786. so that, you know, your mind can relate with

  787. it. Don't laugh. Imagine you just woke up to

  788. this conference now. Unconditionally. You are

  789. a student. And then just by the downstairs, You

  790. met me, right? And I say, oh, Samantha, you're

  791. looking good. How are you? Fine. I say, you see

  792. that Range Rover Vela? This morning, I just came

  793. with it and the key is yours. Ha! He said, sir,

  794. eh? I said, no, no, no, I'm serious. He said,

  795. Papi, see, I've come again. This is your joke.

  796. And then I take the papers. I show you. You see

  797. your name. You see your surname. You see all

  798. the documents of the car. It's yours. Now you

  799. see, her mind can relate. Even though you don't

  800. have a driver's license, you now rush up, pray

  801. as what's going on, you didn't care. Whether

  802. prayers was going on or not, you didn't care.

  803. You look for Kolade because you know he has driver's

  804. license. He said, come and drive me. Let me test

  805. this car. And then now, instead of testing the

  806. car, you ask him to go and park it in your house.

  807. And you carry the key. You ask a taxi to drop

  808. you. I'm taking it extreme now so that you understand

  809. something. To take you to Kyrenia, you go to

  810. the beach and throw the key into the ocean. And

  811. you come back home. And then you go about saying,

  812. Sir, do you know that I have a Range Rover? And

  813. when you were saying this, both of you are inside

  814. school bus. Nobody will believe you. So the only

  815. way we will believe you that you received an

  816. unconditional gift of a Range Rover, right? Is

  817. that when we see you, even though you don't have

  818. the license, right? but there's somebody driving

  819. you. And then, you know, in Africa, I don't know

  820. who told us that sitting at the back, it means

  821. it's owner's corner. I don't know. I don't know

  822. who told us that. You know, it has caused so

  823. much problem. I don't know who told us that it's

  824. when you sit close on the right side, it means

  825. that the car is yours. Okay, let's assume she's

  826. from Africa. She sat on the right side. You know,

  827. so when she comes and says, sir, you know, You

  828. know, last week I got a gift. I never, in fact,

  829. you say, where is this? I say, yeah. In fact,

  830. you know, she will not even, she will come and

  831. drag Pastor Victor. She will drag everybody to

  832. come and see it. Why did I make this? I say this.

  833. She believed that what has been given, she has

  834. already what? Received and is hers. You know,

  835. if it's somebody, somebody like me can do it.

  836. I can go to this, I will walk with the car papers

  837. in my pocket. I've received it. It's mine. Hallelujah.

  838. It's what? It's mine. I'm not keeping it anywhere.

  839. I'm using it around the city. So it is. What

  840. Luke wrote is that something was given to them

  841. and they did what? And they received it. They

  842. didn't hide it. They showed it. They manifested

  843. it. They acted upon it. Praise God. Everything

  844. you have received from the Holy Ghost, everything

  845. you have received from Jesus is not to be hidden.

  846. It's not to be kept. It's to be what? It's to

  847. be shown. The scripture just came to my head

  848. now. 1st Peter chapter 2 verse 9. But yea, a

  849. chosen generation, royal priesthood, and a holy

  850. nation. 2 verse 9. A peculiar people that yea

  851. shall show forth the praises of him who hath

  852. called you out of darkness into his what? Into

  853. his marvelous light. Show forth to display so

  854. that he can meet the eyes. Oh, let me say it

  855. as it's coming to my spirit. Now, the things

  856. of the spirit ought to be displayed. They are

  857. a sign and signs are not hidden. Have you ever

  858. located a place and then that place, they say,

  859. I'm going to Kyrenia and in Kyrenia, I'm looking

  860. for so -and -so place. Do you have the, what

  861. and what can I use? He said, no, just walk on

  862. the road. When you arrive there, you will know.

  863. Never. So tongues ought to be displayed. Interpretation

  864. of tongues ought to be what? Displayed. Prophecy

  865. ought to be what? Displayed. Laying on of hands

  866. ought to be what? Displayed. Word of wisdom ought

  867. to be what? Displayed. Do you see what I mentioned

  868. here? She never cared whether we were praying

  869. or not. All that she's concerned is that she

  870. has received something. Hallelujah. When it comes

  871. to the supernatural, don't care. Don't care.

  872. Don't care. Don't care. Don't care. All that

  873. matters is that show it forth. Show it forth.

  874. Show it forth. Don't keep it inside. Hallelujah.

  875. Don't do what? Because you have received it and

  876. it's yours. Say it's mine. Say it's mine. The

  877. Holy Ghost dwells in me and all his gifts is

  878. mine. Hallelujah. So we saw him recorded that.

  879. Amen. Hallelujah. Praise God. We have an advantage,

  880. right? So that word utterance. He said he gave

  881. them what? Utterance. So something unconditional

  882. was given, right? And then what was given that

  883. was unconditional? Utterance. So what is utterance

  884. now? Let's look at that word. We are still in

  885. Acts chapter 2. Utterance. That word utterance

    Acts 2 chapter mention

  886. is from the Greek word aptegomai. A -P -P -H

  887. A -P -P -H T -H -E Don't worry, I'm going to

  888. say it a couple of times. A -P -P -H -T -H -E

  889. -G -G -O -M -I. A -P -P -H -T -H -E -G -G -O

  890. -M -I. And this word implies a kind of speaking.

  891. A kind of speaking. A kind of speaking. That

  892. refers to an elevated discussion. A kind of speaking,

  893. which is what? An elevated discussion. A kind

  894. of speaking, which is an elevated what? Discussion.

  895. It's contrasting our everyday discussion, you

  896. know, the way we are speaking English language

  897. now. This kind of speaking is not our everyday

  898. what? Discussion. It's an elevated kind of discussion.

  899. People that are doing computer language, you

  900. know, we have programming languages, right? Right?

  901. Is it not? So we have codes. Yeah, you heard.

  902. Right? So when we do the codes and codes, only

  903. people that have been trained in the codes can

  904. understand it, right? It's a kind, it's an elevated

  905. kind of discussion. Praise God. It's an elevated

  906. what? Kind of what? Not a normal day discussion.

  907. Praise God. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. So these

  908. people received that from the Holy Ghost. He

  909. gave them what? Alterance unconditionally. He

  910. gave them an elevated kind of discussion. We're

  911. going to look at that in 1 Corinthians 14. You

  912. understand why it has to be an elevated discussion.

  913. A discussion that the mind, the normal mind cannot

  914. be able to watch. I gave us an example, just

  915. a lower version of the example with my tribe

  916. or with my dialect. However, some of you sense

  917. on me. Right? But when I now move higher, you

  918. cannot catch up. Right? So the believer has received

  919. from the Holy Ghost. Let me put it this way,

  920. the way it's coming to my spirit. A God kind

  921. of language. A God kind of language that permits

  922. him to have an elevated discussion with the Father.

  923. You have an ability that is God's kind. A kind

  924. of speaking that is only common to you and the

  925. Father. Praise God. Hallelujah. So, where we

  926. have read, are we all here, everybody? Are we

  927. all here? Yes. So, are we all here together?

  928. Praise God. So, Acts chapter 2 now. Where we've

    Acts 2 chapter mention

  929. read, there were a couple of people that were

  930. there. One of the things we see in verse 6, Acts

    Acts 2:6

  931. chapter 2, verse 6. Now, when this was noise,

  932. I brought the multitude, came together, and they

  933. were confounded, because that every man had them

  934. speak in his own, what? Language. Verse 7 now.

  935. And they were all amazed, and marveled, saying

  936. one to another, Behold, are not all these we

  937. speak, what? Galileans, and then the communication

  938. continues. Amen? But the first thing that we

  939. saw here is that they were all what? Confounded.

  940. Praise God. All the people that were there that

  941. heard them were confused because they heard them

  942. speak, right? In tongues. Amen? Amen? But let's

  943. turn. They now heard them speak again in their

  944. own what? In their own language. And they were

  945. all amazed. What did they hear? They were speaking

  946. the wonderful works of who? The wonderful works

  947. of who? Of God in verse 11. Amen. Yeah, so that

  948. is what we see happening in Acts chapter 2. Praise

    Acts 2 chapter mention

  949. God. So these people will not have just come

  950. there and see them speaking in tongues and they

  951. imagine that these people are speaking our language.

  952. So, for example, when I come, Please, in this

  953. room, this language is for who? It's from whose

  954. tribe? Whose tribe? Whose tribe? Who understood

  955. what I just did now? That is your tribe. So,

  956. you see? That's the spirit. So, imagine now,

  957. they say, everybody around the world. came. And

  958. then they came and then it was noise abroad.

  959. Rekapalada, Jabalagada, Irabalada, everybody.

  960. Elevated discussion. High -end discussion. Ayakapalada.

  961. And then everybody, hey, he's speaking Galilean.

  962. Hey, he's Jew. Hey, this is Medes. And they were

  963. just 120. So how could 120 speak all the languages

  964. around? Praise God. Something must have happened

  965. by the Spirit in that atmosphere. For them to

  966. be able to decipher and hear and understand that

  967. these people are speaking our own words, language.

  968. And what they are saying is what they are declaring

  969. the wonderful works of who? Of God. Praise God.

  970. Are we all here? Are we all here? Are we using

  971. our brain? Is it getting clearer? Praise God.

  972. Perfect. Now. What we see, 1 Corinthians 14 verse

    1 Corinthians 14:2

  973. 2. 1 Corinthians 14 verse 2. 1 Corinthians 14.

    1 Corinthians 14:2

  974. For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh

  975. not unto what? Not unto man. Hallelujah. But

  976. unto who? But unto God. This same tongue Jesus

  977. said in my name, if you believe you shall speak

  978. in new what? In new tongues. Acts chapter 2,

    Acts 2 chapter mention

  979. we are seeing the first experience, right? And

  980. then now we are seeing Paul writing here in 1

    1 Corinthians 14:2

  981. Corinthians 14 verse 2. He's saying that when

  982. you speak this kind of speaking, you are not

  983. speaking unto men. You are speaking unto who?

  984. Unto God. He said, for no man will what? Understand.

  985. How be it in the spirit. Pastor Victor said spirit.

  986. How be it in the spirit he speaketh what? Mysteries.

  987. Praise God. Why? Because tongues are unintelligent

  988. communication to the human mind. They are what?

  989. Unintelligent what? Communication to the human

  990. mind. Praise God. Unintelligent communication.

  991. So, What will Paul write? Since they are unintelligent

  992. communication to the human mind. 1 Corinthians

  993. 14, 14. He said, for if I pray in an unknown

  994. tongue, my spirit, what? Prayed. But my understanding

  995. is what? Fruitful. How be it no man understand

  996. what? It. So my understanding. You remember we

  997. are coming from language, right? And we say everywhere

  998. there is language, the next thing we should see

  999. is what? Is understanding. But we can see Paul's

1000. writing. He said that when I speak in tongues,

1001. I speak unto God. So when we say I speak unto

1002. God, so what does he mean? So which means what?

1003. God understands. How be it? No man will do what?

1004. Understand what I'm saying. For in the spirit,

1005. I pray. And what I'm praying is mysteries. You

1006. understand why we say it's mysteries. Hallelujah.

1007. So what is happening in Acts chapter 2? As the

    Acts 2 chapter mention

1008. Holy Ghost gave them utterance, when people come

1009. there, they will not what? Understand them. But

1010. later on, they understood them, speaking in their

1011. own language. And they say, hey, these people

1012. are speaking in our own language. And what they

1013. are declaring is the wonderful works of who?

1014. Of God. So something must have happened for their

1015. mind to understand that communication. Praise

1016. God. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Are we all here?

1017. So the only way the human mind can understand

1018. tongues when it is uttered is when it is interpreted.

1019. The only way the human mind can understand praying

1020. in tongues is when it is what? Interpreted. Hallelujah.

1021. That is when understanding comes. That is when

1022. understanding comes. That is when understanding

1023. comes. The only way the human mind can understand

1024. such an elevated discussion is when it is what?

1025. When it is interpreted. So, you can put it this

1026. way. Autorants or tongues, put it this way, tongues

1027. plus interpretation is equal to prophecy. Tongues,

1028. Plus interpretation is equal to what? Prophecy.

1029. Put it this way. You know why I said that. So

1030. at this point now, which means the human mind

1031. what? Understands. So the human mind can receive

1032. and understand what has been uttered. Are we

1033. all here? So you know Jesus said in Mark chapter

    Mark 16:17

  1034. 16 verse 17. Let's go there. Mark chapter 16

    Mark 16:17

1035. verse 17. Let's go back there. All this while

1036. we've been talking about tongues. Amen. About

1037. what? About tongues. Mark chapter 16 verse 17.

    Mark 16:17

1038. And these signs shall follow them that believe

1039. in my name. Shall they cast out what? Devils.

1040. They shall speak with what? New tongues. If it's

1041. your Bible, underline the word new. The word

1042. new is from the Greek word kainos. Kainos. K

  1043. -A -I -N -O -S. Kainos. Which means novel, uncommon,

1044. unheard of. Kainos. Something novel. Something

1045. novel. Uncommon. Unheard of. And it means that

1046. prior to this time, such a language had never

1047. been heard. Kainos, novel, uncommon, unheard

1048. of, which implies that prior to this time, such

1049. a language had never been what? Heard or spoken.

1050. Never. New tongues. A kind of speaking that has

1051. never been heard. A kind of speaking. That has

1052. never been spoken. Hallelujah. Praise God. So.

1053. When we say something has never been heard. Or

1054. spoken. And it's new. Kainos. It means that.

1055. The day you start speaking it. Nobody taught

1056. you. Hallelujah. The only way. We have a student

1057. becomes a teacher. A professor becomes, let me

1058. use the word, a student becomes a professor is

1059. that another professor must what? Must have taught

1060. him. And that professor received that teaching

1061. also from another professor. For example, our

1062. father, we call him our father, my professor.

1063. It happens that we happen to be among his last

1064. children. In his three of professorial cadre,

1065. he's an emeritus. We happen to be out in the

1066. last generation. Right? Maybe he might have one

1067. more generation. Right? Because he's already,

  1068. oh, he's 80 something now. Getting to 90. I saw

1069. him, one of his students. She became professor

1070. since she was, maybe, as of when I was reading

1071. her. She was, I think, 40 -something. And she

1072. was already tired of being a professor. She had

1073. become a professor maybe when she was 32, 33.

1074. And so when I was reading her website, she has

1075. already raised people that are already professors.

1076. So we can't call that a new thing. Amen? So when

  1077. I had a professor come out of me, I can't call

1078. it a what? A new thing. You see? Already, for

1079. example, I'm also on the way of raising professors

  1080. in a short time. I can't call it a what? A new

1081. thing. Because it's already heard. It's something

1082. that is common. It's not novel. I have 10 professors.

1083. Go and see them. It's not novel. So, but you

1084. see, what Jesus is saying here is that it has

1085. never what? It has never been heard. It has never

1086. been what? And let me say it. When Christ spoke

1087. this statement, he didn't say that you're going

1088. to learn it. Do you know what I said? He didn't

1089. say that you're going to what? Learn it. He said,

1090. let's read it this way. And he said, in my name,

1091. they shall cast out devils and they shall learn

1092. how to speak in new tongues. Is that what the

1093. scripture says? He said, they shall do what?

1094. They shall speak. The complete curriculum is

1095. inside you. You will just speak it. You will

1096. not learn it. By the Spirit, you will do what?

1097. You will speak it. It has never been heard. It

1098. has never been seen. It has never been spoken.

1099. But that experience is going to happen to you

1100. on the spot. Hallelujah. How will it happen?

1101. By the ability of the Holy Ghost in you. So the

1102. Holy Ghost inside you is not coming to begin

1103. a day. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. He said, you're

1104. not learning it. Then they will now write a quiz

1105. and you get zero. If you are from my kind of

1106. primary school, they will now put E on the zero.

1107. You know, and put big, big I. So that the thing

1108. will pay you. You will not be afraid to take

1109. it home. Because you know, when you take it home,

1110. You know what you will receive back? No, no,

1111. no, no, no, no, no. That's not the kind of experience.

1112. What Jesus was saying or he's saying is that

1113. you're going to receive it. It will be given

1114. to you and you will receive it and you will what?

1115. You will act on it. Simple. Hallelujah. That's

1116. uncommon. Novel. It comes to you and it's not

1117. to be learned. You know, when I was in the university,

1118. there was a place, I will not say the name of

1119. the church. When you go there, they say school

1120. of tongues and something, something. When you

1121. go there, they say shabalaga, shabalaga. Everybody

1122. will do shabalaga, shabalaga. Okay, let's say,

1123. let's do it. That's human tongues. It's not the

1124. Holy Ghost. That is human giving men utterance.

1125. Praise God. The kind we are speaking about is

1126. the one that is not learned. That's why when

1127. I was speaking yesterday with my sister here.

1128. Sorry, I have to keep this. You know we're going

1129. to pray more today in tongues, right? You know,

1130. right? Yes. I love you. I'm going to walk closely

1131. with you. You and the other sister. Two of you

1132. are going to walk closely. Today, all of us are

1133. ministry partners. Praise God. Hallelujah. Are

1134. we reading that? So hence, they were all filled

1135. with what? With the Holy Ghost. So what was happening?

  1136. In Acts chapter 2 verse 4, it's supernatural.

    Acts 2:4

1137. Praise God. Never natural. Have you seen yesterday

1138. I said something? All that we've discussed from

1139. Pastor Fred, to Pastor Victor, to Pastor Emmanuel,

1140. to now. Have you seen anything natural about

1141. it? All of them are what? Supernatural. Salvation,

1142. supernatural. Laying on of hands, supernatural.

1143. Yesterday, Pastor Emmanuel introduced supernatural.

1144. Amen? We are building. Supernatural. The life

1145. of the believer is what? Supernatural. So we

1146. see in Acts chapter 2. Let's go there. The people

    Acts 2 chapter mention

1147. that were present there. The people that were

1148. present there. In Acts chapter 2. Are we all

    Acts 2 chapter mention

1149. here? In Acts chapter 2. Acts chapter 2 verse

Acts 2 chapter mention Acts 2:5

1150. 5. And they were all dwelling at what? Jerusalem.

1151. Devote men out of every nation under what? Heaven.

1152. Now when this was noise I brought them all two

1153. came together and they were confounded because

1154. that every man what? Had them speak in his own

1155. language and they were all amazed and marveled

1156. saying one to another behold another all these

1157. which speak Galileans and how here we man in

1158. our own language wherein we were born. 9 now.

1159. Are we all there? We're going to stop at 11.

1160. Patience. Medes, Elamites, dwellers in Mesopotamia

1161. and in Judea, Cappadocia, in Pontus and in Asia,

1162. Phrygia, Pamphylia, in Egypt and in the parts

1163. of Libya, about Cyrene, strangers of Rome, Jews

1164. and what? Proselyte, Cretans, Arabians, we do

1165. hear them speak in our own words, tongues, the

1166. wonderful works of who? Of God. So we see all

1167. of these people, we see the Jews, are what? Proselytes.

1168. So, what do we see? Who are proselytes? Just

1169. quickly learn it so that you write it because

1170. it may not be part of the book. Let's write it

1171. so that it will help us. So that as it's coming

1172. to my heart, whether you're from a Pentecostal

1173. church or you're from Protestant or Orthodox

1174. or any part of the branching, everyone ought

1175. to speak in tongues. Hallelujah. Praise God.

1176. Because it's scripture. Amen? Amen? So who are

1177. proselytes? Proselytes are non -Jews who converted.

1178. Right? They are what? They are non -Jews. Who

1179. what? Who converted. They learned the Jewish

1180. language. Right? And they now were converted.

1181. So in essence, they naturalized. So you have

1182. learned Turkish language, learned Turkish language,

1183. learned Turkish language, you can speak it now.

1184. Then one of these days, you make up your mind

1185. to naturalize. Because you don't like what you're

1186. hearing about your country. It will never change

1187. because I had that, what had been happening many,

1188. many years, even before we came. So it's a system,

1189. it's a cycle. So they are converts, right? They

1190. are converts to the Jewish faith. So, we now

1191. see that this event that happened and we see

1192. everybody gathered. Are we all here? In Acts

    Acts 2 chapter mention

1193. chapter 2, it's not that these men had them speaking

1194. some sort of languages or their own native language,

1195. right? So what we see that all these nations

1196. that are listed were referenced to different

1197. places of the residence of Jews. You understand

1198. why? All these places. It's not that we have,

1199. where is it from? Patians, Medes, Elamites, dwellers

1200. in Mesopotamia, Judea, Cappadocia, Pontus, Asia.

1201. No, no, no, no. It's giving different locations

1202. where the Jews were what? were settled. Because

1203. at this point now, because they came at the day

1204. of Pentecost, right? Yeah, they were all gathered

1205. at the day of what? Pentecost. So all of them

1206. came back for celebration. Praise God. So and

1207. from the different locations where all of them,

1208. you know, so this gathering were just a gathering

1209. of Jews and proselytes. Proselytes are what?

1210. Converts. Amen? So everybody, so they didn't

1211. only learn Jewish language, but they also embraced

1212. Jewish traditions. Right? So everybody came back

1213. home for the what? For the day of what? Pentecost.

1214. Amen? And they were all gathered. So that is

1215. why now you will see, for example, right? In

1216. Acts chapter 2 verse 14, but Peter standing up

    Acts 2:14

1217. with the eleven, lifted up his voice and said

1218. unto them, Ye men of what? Judea and all ye that

1219. dwell at Jerusalem. Be... These known unto you

1220. and hearken to my what? And hearken to my what?

1221. Words. He said, yea, men of Israel. Hear these

1222. words. See Acts chapter 2 verse 22. See 22. Yea,

    Acts 2:22

1223. men of Israel. Hear these words. He was addressing

1224. all of them, Jews. Yea, men of Israel. Jesus

1225. of Nazareth, a man approved of God way. Among

1226. you. In 29. Acts 2 29. Men and what? Brethren.

1227. He addressed them as what? Brethren. That word

1228. brethren means we have done it here. Right? Adelphos.

1229. Which implies from the same womb. From the same

1230. lineage. So Peter will rise and address all of

1231. them. Ye men of what? He said, my people, brethren.

1232. He said, my own. So we see all of them that were

1233. gathered were what? Jews. They came back home.

1234. Hallelujah. So the audience that we see that

1235. were around the 120 were what? Were Jews. Praise

1236. God. Hallelujah. Are we all here? Just a minute,

1237. please. Let me just establish something. I need

1238. to check my notes. Okay. So now, when we see

1239. now, we stop at, he was talking about brethren,

1240. right? Adelphos. Are we all there? Are we all

1241. there? Perfect now. So we say that the men that

1242. gathered all around at the day of Pentecost,

1243. right, were Jews and proselytes. So the different

1244. places that were mentioned, what he was talking

1245. about, they are what? Their location. Where all

1246. of them were. Yemen of Israel. men and brethren,

1247. to address them as his own people. Right? So,

1248. but question is, how is it that they say that

1249. we heard them speak in our own words, in our

1250. own language, in our own tongue? Amen? Yeah,

  1251. so, what happened? 1 Corinthians 14 verse 2,

    1 Corinthians 14:2

1252. we say, for he that speaketh, we've read it,

1253. 1 Corinthians 14 verse 2. We say, for he that

    1 Corinthians 14:2

1254. speaketh in an unknown tongue, You see, when

1255. Luke wrote this, he didn't tell us that there

1256. was an interpreter that interpreted what was

1257. said. The people just, he just wrote that they

1258. all said, these people are speaking, we hear

1259. them speak in our own words. In our own language.

1260. And what they are saying is that they are declaring

1261. the what? The wonderful works of who? The wonderful

1262. works of God. So now, it's important for us.

  1263. And we've read 1 Corinthians 14 verse 5. Let's

    1 Corinthians 14:5

1264. go there everybody. Please don't lose the line

1265. of thought because we are talking about tongues.

  1266. 1 Corinthians 14 verse 5. I would that ye all

    1 Corinthians 14:5

1267. speak with what? With tongues. But rather that

1268. ye what? Prophesy. For greater is he that prophesied

1269. than he that speaketh with what? With tongues.

1270. Except he interprets. Who interprets? The speaker.

1271. That the church may receive what? Edification.

1272. So, we now see. Are we all there? Are we all

1273. there? So we now see now, when Peter stood up

1274. now, have you read 1 Corinthians 14 now? For

1275. he that prayed in other tongues should also what?

1276. Interpret the tongues so that the church can

1277. be what? Edified, right? Acts now, let's go back

1278. to Acts chapter 2. And then now let's see what

    Acts 2 chapter mention

1279. Peter will rise and say in Acts chapter 2 verse

    Acts 2:14

1280. 14. But this is that which was spoken by prophet

  1281. Joel. Joel 2 .28 Joel 2 .28 Joel 2 .28. I will

1282. there. See Joel 2 .28. He said that this was

1283. what was spoken by prophet what? A fulfillment

1284. of what prophet Joel spoke. And he came and he

1285. shall come to pass after what? After what? That

1286. I'll pour out of my spirit upon all flesh. and

1287. your sons and daughters shall what? Prophesy

1288. your old men shall, your young men shall, and

1289. also upon the servants and upon the handmaids

1290. in those days will I pour out of my what? Spirit.

1291. Amen? So now, having said that, now let's go

1292. back to Acts so that we continue reading our

1293. conversation. In Acts chapter 2 now. He said,

    Acts 2 chapter mention

1294. but this is that which was spoken by who? By

1295. prophet Joel. Right? And when we go to 17. And

1296. it shall come to pass in the last days. Is that

1297. what was spoken? Said God, I will pour out of

1298. my spirit upon all flesh. And your sons and daughters

1299. shall. And your young men shall see visions.

1300. And your old men shall dream dreams. And upon

1301. my servants and upon my handmaidens. I will pour

1302. out in those days out of my spirit. And they

1303. shall what? Prophesy. So what do we see, right?

1304. Is that what? By the Spirit of God, all these

1305. are made possible. Praise God. Hallelujah. So

1306. the how of prophecy, right? You know, he said,

1307. they shall prophesy. So we now see tongues and

1308. interpretation of tongues. We are coming to it

1309. now, clearly now. You know, I told us to write

1310. somewhere. There's somewhere that you wrote tongues

1311. plus interpretation is equal to what? Prophecy.

1312. You wrote it somewhere, right? Good. Perfect.

1313. So, we see that what? Tongues. We see prophecy,

1314. right? Or we see tongues and interpretation of

1315. tongues becoming what? Prophecy. From where we

  1316. read in 1 Corinthians chapter 14. Don't worry.

    1 Corinthians 14 chapter mention

1317. We'll be going back there and becoming. We'll

1318. be going back there. I will that, verse 5, that

1319. ye all speak with what? But rather that ye So

1320. tongues and interpretation of tongues is what?

1321. That the church may be what? So every time prophecy

1322. is given, it's so that we are what? Edified.

1323. Every time tongues and interpretation of tongues

1324. comes, it's so that we are what? Edified. So

1325. do you see why I said? Tongues and interpretation

1326. of tongues is prophecy. Are we all clear? Are

1327. we all clear? Okay, praise God. Hallelujah. So

1328. we now see that after saying all these things,

1329. then it will be that on that day of Pentecost,

1330. where the 120 were gathered, right? And they

1331. spoke in tongues, both men and women, and they

1332. heard them declaring the works of God. What will

1333. be happening? There will be tongues and what?

1334. Interpretation of what? Of tongues. You know,

1335. we read from 1 Corinthians 14 that the one that

1336. speaks in tongues should also interpret the word

1337. so that the hearers are what? Edified. Praise

1338. God. So now, on that day in Acts chapter 2, the

    Acts 2 chapter mention

1339. Jews or the men of Israel, as they heard first,

1340. they said they were confounded. Right? But later

1341. on, they say, oh, we heard them speak in our

1342. own what? Language. And what they are saying,

1343. they are declaring the what? Oh, glory. Oh, they

1344. are declaring the wonderful works of God. We

1345. can hear them declaring it. The hearers are now

1346. what? Edified. On the first, they were confounded.

1347. But later on, they are edified. Hallelujah. Why?

1348. Because interpretation what? Has taken precedence.

1349. So we see. What Christ has said. They shall speak

1350. with what? With new tongues. Happening in Acts

    Acts 2 chapter mention

1351. chapter 2. But much more was also happening.

1352. That they were not only speaking in tongues.

1353. But they were also what? Interpreting the tongues.

1354. Hallelujah. Can you say I speak in tongues? I

1355. also interpret the tongues. And the church is

1356. edified. Say, I bring edification. I bring edification

1357. to my brothers and sisters. Hallelujah. Praise

1358. God. Are we all here? Are we all here? So having

1359. said all these things now, who should speak in

1360. tongues? Answer. Huh? All? Okay, now. Further.

1361. I love this class. I love this class. All believers.

1362. Right? Because we see. The 120, all of them did

1363. what? Spoke in tongues. None was missing. Praise

1364. God. None was what? Was led. So who should speak

1365. in other tongues? And we say, how many believers?

1366. And you see, when they were there, in Acts chapter

    Acts 1 chapter mention

  1367. 1, let's go to Acts chapter 1. Me, I think these

    Acts 1 chapter mention

1368. tongues is only for men. I think it's for pastors.

1369. You know, the way I saw Pastor Fred was praying.

1370. I know this thing must be a special gift. This

1371. all continued with one accord. Acts chapter 1

    Acts 1:14

1372. verse 14. This all continued with one accord

1373. in prayer and supplication. With who? With who?

1374. With who? With the women and Mary, the mother

1375. of who? And with his what? And with his brethren.

1376. Hallelujah. Was there anyone left? Was there

1377. in Acts chapter 2 verse 1. And when the day of

    Acts 2:1

1378. Pentecost was fully come. They were all. They

1379. were all. They were all. Men and women were all.

1380. All of them spoke in tongues. All of them interpreted.

1381. Hallelujah. And the audience had them declare

1382. the wonderful works of God. And through your

1383. mouth today. The wonderful works of God will

1384. also be declared. Praise God. Praise God. Praise

1385. God. Praise God. You see that place in Mark chapter

    Mark 16 chapter mention

1386. 16. There was no place where Christ said some

1387. set of special people are going to speak in new

1388. tongues. He said in my name and this I shall

1389. follow them that what? That believe in my name

1390. they shall cast out devils. They shall speak

1391. with what? Who are the day? Who are the day?

1392. Who are believers? Who are believers? Huh? Me,

1393. yes. Who will believe us again? All, all, all,

1394. all. Same men and women. Everybody. Yes, me,

1395. yes. Me, you. But now you don't understand what's

1396. happening. But in a short time you will understand.

1397. Now he can only say me. He does not know what

1398. the me is. You know. His brother is saying yeah,

1399. yeah, yeah. So. They don't understand what's

1400. happening. But somebody like exploit understandings.

1401. Praise God. Hallelujah. Somebody like what? Exploit.

1402. You know, yesterday I was praying for her and

1403. I was telling her somewhere there. I said, when

1404. you see your friends, you know you can lay hands

1405. on them and get them filled with the Spirit of

1406. God. And so I was praying for her here. I was

1407. also telling her, praise God. Some of you are

1408. coming late, but you came early at the same time.

1409. Because as you're hearing it now, it's so that

1410. you can correct things later. Paul told Timothy,

1411. he said, from your young age, from tender age,

1412. those things that you have been taught, those

1413. things that you have learned, From what? From

1414. tender age. So which means that from a young

1415. age we can learn these things. You're a father

1416. here. You're a mother here. Right? It's not always

1417. cocoa melon. Cocoa, cocoa. Giddy, giddy, giddy,

1418. giddy. Giddy, giddy, giddy, giddy. He said this

1419. is what they want. No, that's not what they want.

1420. They want the things of the Holy Ghost. She has

1421. attended how many catatismos now? Four catatismos.

1422. Yeah, she was like the other brother. You see,

1423. they are coming to catatismos now. I saw Tito

1424. this morning. I told him, we miss you. He says,

1425. no, no, no. When we start to tell them now, you

1426. know, it's too early. Well, lying with Satan

1427. is from the womb. And the better, the faster

1428. you know, the better for you. If you're online

1429. and you're hearing me, you have children and

1430. say, it's too early. Let them reach to the age

1431. of accountability. Oh, they will be accountable

1432. to Satan by then. Praise God. From young age.

1433. Introduce them into it. Amen. So all of them

1434. spoke in tongues. All of them spoke in what?

1435. In tongues. All with one accord in one place.

1436. Acts chapter 2 verse 1. And suddenly all of them.

    Acts 2:1

1437. That word all of them. Means all of them. Verse

1438. 4 said. And they were what? Only the men were

1439. filled. Is that what the scripture says? Only

1440. the women were free. Is that what the scripture

1441. says? How many of them? All of them spoke. And

1442. all of them interpreted it. How do I know? How

1443. did I know? Go to Acts chapter 2. Let's see it.

    Acts 2 chapter mention

1444. How? Are we all in Acts chapter 2? Acts chapter

Acts 2 chapter mention Acts 2:7

1445. 2 verse 7. And they were all amazed, marveling,

1446. saying one to another, Behold, are not what?

1447. All these. See verse 6. Now when this was noise

1448. abroad, the multitude came together and were

1449. confronted because that how many people? Every

1450. man had his own what? Language. And they were

1451. all amazed and marveling, saying one to another,

1452. Behold, are not what? All these which speak what?

1453. And see verse 8, everybody. Then how here we

1454. what? Every man. All of them. Every one of them.

1455. So in this room today, every one of us, we have

1456. the ability to interpret tongues. Hallelujah.

1457. We have the ability to prophesy. It's in our

1458. spirits. Are we all here? So who should speak

1459. in tongues? Believers. Who should speak in tongues?

1460. All. Who should speak in tongues? All believers.

1461. No disciple of Jesus should be exempted from

1462. speaking in tongues. Do you hear what I said?

1463. Know what? Let me say it this way. Let me modify

1464. it. No disciple of Jesus should be exempted from

1465. the things of the Spirit. Let me make it better.

1466. No one should be exempted. Every one of us. The

1467. scripture says that we are drunk of the same

1468. spirit. Hallelujah. Every one of us. Are we all

1469. here? Are we all here? Praise God. Praise God.

1470. So, did Paul speak in tongues? Because as he

1471. is writing like this, did he speak in tongues?

1472. Because it's important to note. Amen? But before

1473. we go to that, Amen. Okay, we'll do that later.

  1474. 1 Corinthians 14, 18. 1 Corinthians 18. Who should

1475. speak in tongues? All believers should speak

1476. in tongues. Amen. Is that clear to everybody?

1477. Is that clear to everybody? Okay, 1 Corinthians

    1 Corinthians 14:18

  1478. 14, verse 18. I was 18. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.

1479. I thank my God. I speak with what? I speak with

1480. what? I speak with tongues. More than what? I

1481. think we had that on... Was it Sunday? Was it

1482. Tuesday? Was Tuesday? You see sir, this week

1483. has been supernatural. That everybody is mixing

1484. the days. All the days are looking alike. I thank

1485. my God. I speak with tongues more than what?

1486. So what will that statement tell us about Paul?

1487. Huh? C19. Yet in the church, I had rather speak

1488. what? Five words with my what? Understanding.

1489. That by my voice I might teach others also. And

1490. 10 ,000 words in and what? Unknown tongues. So

1491. that tells us about Paul's private life and also

1492. what? His public life. Praise God. That oh boy,

1493. this man speaks, he prays in tongues. Hallelujah.

1494. That he what? That he prays in what? In tongues.

1495. Acts chapter 19 verse 6. Acts chapter 19 verse

    Acts 19:6 Acts 19:6

1496. 6. Acts chapter 19 verse 6. And when Paul had

    Acts 19:6

1497. laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost what?

1498. Came on them and they spoke with what? With tongues

1499. and what? And prophesied. From verse 4. Then

1500. said Paul, John verily baptized with what? With

1501. the baptism of what? Repentance. Saying unto

1502. the people that they should believe on him that

1503. shall come after him. That is on Christ Jesus.

1504. When they had this, they were baptized in the

1505. name of who? The name of the Lord Jesus. And

1506. when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy

1507. Ghost came on them and they spoke with what?

1508. Can you see? And they spoke with what? With tongues

1509. and words. So, we'll keep reading places in Acts

1510. of the Apostles. You'll be seeing tongues, prophecy.

1511. Tongues, prophecy. Tongues, declaration of God's

1512. wonderful works. Tongues. Everywhere you're seeing

1513. tongues, you'll be seeing interpretation of tongues.

1514. Or once you see prophecy, know that that tongue

1515. has been what? Interpreted. Hallelujah. Praise

1516. God. Hallelujah. So what we see in this Acts

    Acts 19 chapter mention

1517. chapter 19 is a conversation of certain disciples

1518. of John. Praise God. Amen. And then we see Paul

1519. now laying hands on them. Now bringing what Pastor

1520. Victor has taught. That we can receive the baptism.

1521. Right? with the Holy Ghost by laying on of what?

1522. Of hands. And Paul, we read this place during

1523. his teaching. Amen? Paul laid hands on them.

1524. And what happened to them? What happened to them?

1525. What happened to them? Yeah, they spoke in tongues.

1526. And also what? Every time, let me teach us this.

1527. Every time you are saying, speaking in tongues,

1528. take it further, much more. Say what? And prophecy.

1529. Praise God. Every time you say tongues, always

1530. add what? Prophecy. Every time, I'm saying this,

1531. everywhere you go on this earth, I'm saying this

1532. now because that is to set the posture of our

1533. heart. Every time you say tongues, every time

1534. you think tongues, the next thing should be what?

1535. Prophecy. Interpretation of that tongues. Why?

1536. So that edification will what? Will come. Amen?

1537. Are we all here? So now, 1 Corinthians 14 now.

1538. 1 Corinthians 14. We are going to dwell on this

1539. now in detail. So this is where we will now talk

1540. in detail now to clarify some things much more

1541. about tongues. So all this while, what have we

1542. been talking about? Tongues. Hallelujah. In fact,

1543. if we close here, you already have full knowledge

1544. about what we're about doing. Amen? Praise God.

  1545. 1 Corinthians 14, verse 2 now. Well, let's start

    1 Corinthians 14:2

1546. reading from verse 1, everybody, so that we can

1547. have a huge context because it's going to be

1548. a long reading. Follow after what? Charity and

1549. desire and desire. spiritual gifts, but rather

1550. that ye may what? Prophesy. For he that speaketh

1551. in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but

1552. unto God. For no man understandeth him, howbeit

1553. in the spirit he speaketh what? He speaketh mysteries.

1554. Right? You remember we said tongues is not a

1555. regular language, right? It's an elevated what?

1556. Discussion. Are we all here? Are we all here?

1557. Yes. So, and it's not only that. Where we read

1558. about 1 Corinthians 14, that Paul talked about

1559. in 18, I thank my God that I speak with tongues

1560. more than ye all, just tells us that tongues

1561. should be a regular activity of the believer's

1562. life. Hallelujah. It should be what? For Paul

1563. to come to this point, where he could say, I

1564. thank my God I pray in tongues more than ye all,

1565. it ought to be what? His regular what? Activity.

1566. Don't be afraid. Don't be afraid. In your room,

1567. pray in tongues. On the street, pray in tongues.

1568. In your quiet time, pray in tongues. Everywhere

1569. you are, pray in what? Pray in tongues. Say,

  1570. I don't know what I'm speaking. You're going

1571. to know what you're speaking in a bit. Pray in

1572. what? Pray in tongues. It's not my words. It's

1573. the scripture. How be it you don't speak to men?

1574. You speak unto who? Unto God. Are we all here?

1575. Are we all here? So, that word speaketh. That

1576. word speaketh. For he. that speaketh. Well, let's

1577. start picking it from the beginning, actually.

1578. We already have done a word study yesterday about

1579. for. You remember for? You remember for? What

1580. is for? What for? God. Praise God. And we say,

1581. what does it imply? Eh? Yes. Thank you. Reason.

1582. Explanation. Right? Good. So, when we see verse

1583. 2, we say, for he that What is that place supposed

1584. to mean? That what is happening? What are we

1585. learning from there? Read verse 1 and then verse

1586. 2. Thank you, sir. The reason for what? For the

1587. end of what? The communication from verse 1.

1588. Right? Okay. So, don't worry. We are coming to

1589. verse 1 and we are going to deal with it. Amen?

1590. Yes. So, we said that word for, we've handled

1591. it, right? Yes. So, regarding what? So, we said

1592. now. For he, that word, speaketh. Are we all

1593. here? Are we all here? That word he, it means

1594. we have done it too yesterday. Right? Yes. So,

1595. ho, H -O, the word he in verse 1. In verse 2,

1596. sorry. That word he, oh, it implies the one,

1597. a particular person. Right? For that particular

1598. person that speaketh in what? In an unknown tongue.

1599. And we know the he here. Who is the he? Who is

1600. the he? The believer. Praise God. Hallelujah.

1601. Good, that's perfect now. We are all here. So,

1602. the word speaketh. which we have already treated,

1603. is lalio. You remember we talked about glossolalia,

1604. right? Yeah, so the word spigot is lalio. Lalia,

1605. lalio. Which means natural and regular actions.

1606. It's used for speaking. Speaking, lalio, speaking.

1607. Right? It's for what? Speaking. For the man,

1608. that what? That speaks. A regular action. Regular

1609. speaking. You see, tongues ought to be regular.

1610. Praise God. Can you say I regularly speak in

1611. tongues? Say I regularly speak in tongues and

1612. I prophesy. Hallelujah. That's our reality. So

1613. now, we now see from that now, speaker, we know

1614. the believer is the one that ought to be what?

1615. Are we all here? Are we all here? So, because

1616. you now see also in verse 5. See verse 5 now.

1617. I would that ye all speak with what? With tongues.

1618. But rather that ye what? Prophesy. For greater

1619. is what? He that prophesied and he that speaketh

1620. what? With tongues. Except he what? Who should

1621. interpret? The man that is what? Speaking in

1622. tongues. That the church may be what? May be?

1623. Edified. Hallelujah. So what we see, Paul will

1624. say in verse 5. See the starting of verse 5.

1625. I will that ye all. If it's your Bible on the

1626. line, the word all. You see, he still says what?

1627. All. We established that from Acts chapter 2.

    Acts 2 chapter mention

1628. All of them spoke. All of them interpreted. All

1629. of them. They had them declaring the works of

1630. what? The wonderful works of the Lord. Amen.

1631. And we see Paul again writing in verse 5. I will

1632. that how many people? all speak with what? With

1633. tongues. So all of us ought to be speaking in

1634. tongues. So Paul is saying that all of us should

1635. be speaking in what? Tongues. Who? All the believers.

1636. In fact, that is the same thing he rendered in

1637. Acts chapter 14 verse 18. I thank my God that

    Acts 14:18

1638. I speak in tongues more than what? Ye all. He

1639. wasn't saying that all were not speaking in tongues.

1640. That's not what Paul was trying to communicate.

1641. Paul was communicating his private life also

1642. to them. That even in my private life, I also

1643. do what? Speak in what? In tongues. Praise God.

1644. In 26, how is it then brethren, when ye come

1645. together, every one of you, Not two of you. Not

1646. three of you. Not four of you. How many of you?

1647. Verse 26. 1 Corinthians 14. Every one of you

1648. had a what? Had a what? Doctrine. Had a tongue.

1649. See the next thing. Had a revelation. Had an

1650. interpretation. Every one of you can do this.

1651. Every one of you. So which means every one of

1652. us has a psalm. Praise God. Every one of us have

1653. a tongue. Praise God. Every one of us has an

1654. interpretation. Praise God. In fact, you see

1655. the way he ended and say, let all things be done

1656. what? Unto edifying. Because every one of you

1657. has all these. So when you come and when you

1658. come to meet together, let everything be done

1659. unto what? Edification. Because inside me is

1660. all. Inside you is what? Is all. Inside her is

1661. what? Is all. Praise God. But he will say that

1662. because there's something he wants to adjust.

1663. We're going to come to it. Praise God. We're

1664. going to come to it and build on it. Amen. Are

1665. we all here? Are we all here? So we see 1 Corinthians

1666. 14 .39. He said, wherefore brethren, convict

1667. what? To prophesy and forbid not what? To speak

1668. in tongues. So which means everybody should speak

1669. in tongues. Hallelujah. Everybody should what?

1670. Should speak in tongues. He was addressing the

1671. whole church. So no one should be excluded. No

1672. one. Because the church. Everyone in the church

1673. believed. So no one should be what? Should be

1674. excluded. Praise God. Hallelujah. Are we all

1675. here? Are we all here? So let's go back to verse

1676. 2 again. Because we are talking tongues now.

1677. He said, for he that speaketh in an unknown tongue,

1678. speaketh not unto what? Not unto men. That word

1679. men, we already know who is the he, right? We

1680. already know the meaning of speaking, right?

1681. Laliu, right? Other words. We know it, right?

1682. We know the he there means who? The believer.

1683. Praise God. So that word men means anthropos.

1684. Generally for humanity. Anthropos. Anthropology.

1685. Anthropos. Humanity. So for he that speaketh

1686. in an unknown tongue, speaketh not unto anthropos.

1687. Not unto what? Humanity. So in other words, when

1688. a believer speaks in tongues, it's not addressed

1689. to anybody in humanity. Praise God. Now this

1690. is already answering questions in people's hearts.

1691. When you speak in tongues, you are not addressing

1692. any humanity. Hallelujah. In other words, when

1693. a believer speaks in tongues, it is not addressed

1694. to anybody in what? In humanity. It is not addressed

1695. to any anthropos. We are establishing a solid

1696. doctrine here. So let's pay attention to it.

1697. And the word God, he said, how be it? Right?

1698. He said, but unto who? But unto God. The word

1699. God was translated from the Greek word theos.

1700. T -H. Okay, did I say the spelling of Anthropos?

  1701. A -N -T -H -R -O -P -O -S. A -N -T -H -R -O -P

1702. -O -S. That's Anthropos. And then the word God

1703. was translated from the Greek word theos. T -H

  1704. -E -O -S. Which implies deity. Hallelujah. Divine

1705. deity. So in other words, when we put all this

1706. together, we will say, when the believer speaks

1707. in tongues, he creates an audience only with

1708. God, not with anthropos. Amen? So when we say

1709. speak in tongues, please, the first thing that

1710. should come to your head, then say, ah, now,

1711. if I now start speaking now. People will say,

1712. what am I saying? No, no, no, no, no. It's not

1713. what I'm saying. What we are establishing here

1714. is that you create an audience with God. That's

  1715. that verse 2. 1 Corinthians 14 verse 2 says,

    1 Corinthians 14:2

1716. For the believer that speaketh in tongues speaketh

1717. not unto humanity. Praise God. So what I'm saying

1718. in essence is that everywhere you are, including

1719. this location, When you start out, I'm not speaking

1720. to Pastor Victor. I'm not speaking to Pastor

1721. Frederick. I'm not speaking to Pastor Chidi.

1722. I'm not speaking to Samantha. I'm not speaking

1723. to any humanity. But unto who? But unto God.

1724. Every time you set out to pray in tongues, Know

1725. that you already have created an audience with

1726. who? With God. You remember we talked about tongues,

1727. right? It's an elevated what? Discussion. High

1728. -end discussion. This high -end discussion or

1729. elevated discussion first is a discussion between

1730. you and who? And God. Not with humanity. Is this

1731. clear? Is this clear? Do we understand where

1732. we're coming from? And where we are going now?

1733. Praise God. So, now, we now say, for no man understandeth

1734. him. For no man. So, for no humanity understandeth

1735. him. That word understand is the Greek word,

  1736. A -K -O -U -O. Ako. A -K. A -K -O -U -O. A -K

  1737. -O -U -O, which implies to comprehend. A -K -O

1738. -U -O, which implies to what? To comprehend.

1739. That means that no one can intelligently understand

1740. what you're saying. So the meaning of tongues

1741. cannot be understood from the sounds that are

1742. being uttered. The meaning of tongues cannot

1743. be understood from the sounds that are what?

1744. That are being uttered. This is important. Very

1745. important. The meaning of tongues cannot be understood

1746. from the sounds that are being what? Uttered.

1747. The word understand is what? It means to comprehend.

1748. So when the scripture says no man understand

1749. it, it means that what? It means that the mind

1750. cannot what? Intelligently what? Understand the

1751. sounds. Praise God. So let's go for a short break

1752. after which we'll build on this and then we'll

1753. quickly get into interpretation of tongues. Hallelujah.
