  1. Welcome to NECF. We're thrilled you're here.

  2. Make sure to stay with us till the end, where

  3. we will share some great resources to deepen

  4. your faith. Now, let's dive into this week's

  5. sermon. Hallelujah. Praise God. In Acts chapter

    Acts 2 chapter mention

  6. 2, no wonder they heard them, they were declaring

  7. the wonderful works of God. Because what has

  8. been prophesied is now fulfilled. Hallelujah.

  9. What has been prophesied is now what? Is now

  10. fulfilled. So they will hear them declaring the

  11. what? The wonderful works of the Lord. The mighty

  12. works of the Lord. He said, that which has been,

  13. Peter stood up and said, that which has been

  14. prophesied by prophet Joel is now what you see

  15. at work now. He's aligning with what was interpreted

  16. in the tongues. Hallelujah. Praise God. So how

  17. be it? When you speak in tongues, you don't speak

  18. to humanity. You speak unto who? Unto God. But

  19. unto God. But unto God. But unto God. This information

  20. only should set you free. That every time you

  21. are speaking in tongues, Every time you are speaking

  22. in tongues, you know that you have an audience

  23. with God. Hallelujah. Every time. You know, during

  24. my anyway, somebody say, how did you know? Maybe

  25. if you are speaking in tongues, you are saying

  26. that when I go out, I should have accident. Can

  27. you imagine? And this was somebody that was supposed

  28. to be our leader. He said, why are we praying

  29. in tongues, praying in tongues? We don't even

  30. know what we are saying. Maybe we are saying

  31. that when we go out in the next day going to

  32. our PPA, let's have accidents. At the time, we

  33. believed that the spirit of Beelzebub was walking

  34. through him. You know, he said, I'm the chief

  35. rebellion. I'm the one that is ganging up against

  36. him. I'm the one that's, what they call the word,

  37. gang leader. Aside the president, the next person

  38. that has three offices is me. I have one office

  39. upstairs. I have my own office again downstairs.

  40. And I have another one. And you know what he

  41. now did? Since I was the gang leader, he realized

  42. that we always, or every... All the other escorts,

  43. we always meet in the office up because his home

  44. too is there. So, he's closed. So, he sees everybody.

  45. What is Rocket Man? They gave me a name, Rocket

  46. Man. He said, what is Rocket Man always doing

  47. with all this? They are still plotting something.

  48. He now said, as the chief of this house, he has

  49. seized that that room is closed. He now left

  50. Rocket Room for us downstairs. How can you speak?

  51. How can you create an audience with God? And

  52. the interpretation of what is happening is, as

  53. I'm going out in the morning for my PPA, let

  54. me have accident. We love him. You know, as the

  55. gang leader, you know, They suspended us for

  56. six months. Have you ever seen people that gave

  57. themselves to staff? They are now suspended for

  58. six months. I'm telling you, for a one -year

  59. program. For a one -year program, they suspended

  60. us for six months. You know what we started doing,

  61. sir? We started organizing prayer groups among

  62. us. And we're praying for him and praying for

  63. the church. The rugged man that I handed over

  64. to, because, you know, we're under suspension,

  65. so we can't go to come and select people. That

  66. boy is from around my state. Do you know the

  67. boy ran mad? He ran mad. They had to carry him

  68. out of his service here, back home. They go out

  69. for, you know, the boss will carry people and

  70. they'll go for one villages or the other. The

  71. boy will come back and be telling me strange

  72. things that they are experiencing there. Before

  73. we left, he started talking to himself. I was

  74. in Abuja. They called me that they're moving

  75. back home. Glory to God. The next set that was

  76. going to come, substantive escort. That's the

  77. main escort that was going to come. Jesus hijacked

  78. the team. And the team changed. So, you can't

  79. create an audience with God and give it a demonic

  80. meaning. Okay. Let's continue. So, we said that

  81. that word on the standard hymn, that word on

  82. the standard, we say it's what? Akua, right?

  83. Which implies to what? To comprehend. Praise

  84. God. So, if we are reading that verse 2, we say,

  85. for he that speaketh, that's the believer that

  86. speaketh in an unknown tongue. We know what is

  87. tongue now, right? If you're having King James

  88. Version, unknown is italicized, which means in

  89. the original context, it wasn't there, right?

  90. It's just tongue. Praise God. Speaketh not unto

  91. men. Verse added by translators, right? But unto

  92. God. For no man understand. If you're still using

  93. King James Version like mine, you will see the

  94. hymn too. It's italicized, right? Yeah, so that

  95. word there is supposed to be no man understand.

  96. Understand what? The tongue. Praise God. Amen?

  97. Yeah, so that's the word understand there. The

  98. comprehension is not to understand a man speaking.

  99. It's to understand the tongue that is being uttered.

  100. Are we all here? Are we all here? So, when you

  101. are set out to speak in tongues, When I come

  102. close to you, I will not understand what you

  103. are saying. How be it that the verse 2 says,

  104. but your speakings are not to humanity. Your

  105. speakings are unto who? And unto God. Please

  106. be looking at your Bible so that you see what

  107. I'm saying. He said, you speak not unto men,

  108. but unto who? But unto God. For no humanity understand

  109. this kind of speaking. Praise God. How be it

  110. in the spirit, right? The believer speaketh what?

  111. Mysteries. Are we all here? So that word mysteries,

  112. we have had it here, is called musterion. Musterion,

  113. which implies undisclosed facts that needs to

  114. be explained. So it's not something metaphysical.

  115. It's not something abstract. You remember we

  116. said utterance is what? Elevated discussion,

  117. right? But that elevated discussion can be interpreted.

  118. Hallelujah. Tongues are not cryptic messages.

  119. Tongues can be what? Interpreted. Praise God.

  120. Let me repeat myself. Tongues are not a kind

  121. of language that does not have meaning. Tongues

  122. have meaning. And the meaning lies in the interpretation.

  123. Praise God. Amen. So he said mysteries. How be

  124. it what? It's mysteries. It's mysteries because

  125. when you're speaking in tongues and I come close

  126. to you, I don't understand what you're saying.

  127. You understand? So for me, it becomes what? Mystery.

  128. When we say mystery, we are not saying something

  129. spooky. What we are saying is that something

  130. that the mind cannot grasp. Something that intelligently

  131. your mind cannot what? Understand at the moment.

  132. Praise God. But however, it needs to be what?

  133. Explained. Undisclosed facts. That needs to be

  134. what? Explained. That is the word musterion.

  135. That is why you see, I added to us, every time

  136. you say, I'm setting out to pray in tongues,

  137. the next thing should be, and what? Prophesy.

  138. Give meaning to it. Interpret. Hallelujah. Praise

  139. God. So we see other instances from musterion.

  140. Luke chapter 8 verse 10. We'll just look at two

    Luke 8:10

  141. references and then because that has been taught

  142. here. Luke chapter 8 verse 10. And he said unto

    Luke 8:10

  143. you, it is given to know the mysteries, the musterion

  144. of the kingdom. Hallelujah. So which means it

  145. is given to you to understand the mysteries of

  146. what? Of the kingdom. So that undisclosed facts

  147. about the kingdom for you is open. Praise God.

  148. Pastor Fred talked about to the believer is revelation.

  149. It's open. It's not hidden. Praise God. is disclosed

  150. for the believer. Tongues, let me say it this

  151. way as it's coming to my heart. Tongues is a

  152. disclosed message that needs to be interpreted

  153. in clear language for the mind to understand.

  154. Let me repeat myself because it's coming to my

  155. heart now. Tongues is a what? Is a disclosed

  156. message that needs to be what? Interpreted for

  157. the mind to what? To understand. Tongues is a...

  158. You see why I use the word disclose? So that

  159. when you are speaking in tongues, don't say I'm

  160. speaking what I don't know. Praise God. Tongues

  161. is a disclosed message that needs to be what?

  162. Interpreted so that the mind can what? Understand.

  163. You remember we said that what? It should meet

  164. the eye. Praise God. It should edify. Amen. So

  165. when interpretation comes to tongues, what we

  166. get is what? Edification. Hallelujah. So he said,

  167. you give to know the mysteries of the kingdom

  168. of God. Amen. But to others in parables, but

  169. seeing that they might not see and hearing, they

  170. might not what? Understand. One more verse again.

  171. One more reference and then we go. Ephesians

    Ephesians 3:3

  172. 3 verse 3. Ephesians 3 verse 3. Are we all understanding

    Ephesians 3:3

  173. what is happening? Praise God. Ephesians 3 verse

    Ephesians 3:3

  174. 3. How that by revelation, he made known unto

  175. me the what? If it's something that is hidden

  176. and should not be known, it will not be made

  177. known to him. Praise God. How by what? Revelation,

  178. right? It was made known unto me the mystery

  179. as I wrote afore in what? In a few what? In a

  180. few words. Whereby when you read, you may what?

  181. You may understand. So if he wrote the writing

  182. in mystery, would they have understood? No. So

  183. it was disclosed. It was open. In fact, let me

  184. say it again much more higher now. Tongues need

  185. to be open. For edification to find expression.

  186. Tongues need to be what? Open. Say that when

  187. you read, you may understand my knowledge in

  188. the mystery of what? In the mystery of Christ.

  189. It's already disclosed. It's not hidden again.

  190. Praise God. Hallelujah. How be it? Let's read

  191. 1 Corinthians 2 .6. So how is mystery disclosed?

  192. By revelation. How is mystery? Pastor Fred has

  193. taught that. How is mystery disclosed? By what?

  194. By revelation. How by revelation? This mystery

  195. was made known to me. This mystery was opened

  196. unto me. 1 Corinthians chapter 2. Verse 6. What

    1 Corinthians 2 chapter mention

  197. are they speaking? This hidden mystery that is

  198. now what? Revealed. Hallelujah. Verse 9 now.

  199. Can you see? But what has happened? Verse 10.

  200. But God has hidden them. God has hidden them

  201. unto us by His Spirit. What has happened to us?

  202. God has revealed. them. How did he reveal them?

  203. To us by his what? By his spirit. So say this,

  204. when I speak in tongues, I know what I'm saying

  205. by the spirit of God. For it is revealed unto

  206. me by the spirit of God. The spirit of God gives

  207. me utterance and he also gives me interpretation.

  208. Glory to God. Hallelujah. That is it. See two

  209. of everybody now. Now, hallelujah. When? Now

  210. we have received not the spirit of the world,

  211. but the spirit of God, which is of God, right?

  212. That we may, what? That we may. That we may,

  213. that we may, that we may know what? We may know

  214. what? The things that are what? That are freely

  215. what? Given to us. Say tongues have been given

  216. to me. Interpretation have been given to me.

  217. Word of wisdom has been given to me. The prophetic

  218. has been given to me. Healing has been given

  219. to me. Unconditionally there is a supply. Hallelujah.

  220. Yes. That we may know. So when I create audience

  221. with God, what happens next is that there is

  222. what? A revealing. So when you set out to pray

  223. in tongues, don't say, oh, hey, I'm afraid. I'm

  224. afraid. No, no, no, no, no, no. It's you and

  225. God. That thing that you're saying, why it's

  226. called mystery, is because to the normal human

  227. mind, it cannot be what? Understood. But when

  228. it is interpreted, right, the mind now can what?

  229. Grasp it. In Acts chapter 2, where we read, it

    Acts 2 chapter mention

  230. says, when they now heard them, right, the first

  231. thing that happened, they were what? Confounded.

  232. But later on, they declared, oh, we heard them.

  233. They all are speaking in our what? In our own.

  234. And what we hear them speak is that they are

  235. declaring the what? The wonderful works of the

  236. Lord. Praise God. Praise God. So we see God has

  237. revealed these things to us by His what? By His

  238. Spirit. So when these things are explained, the

  239. mind can now understand. Hallelujah. So write

  240. down. Every time tongue is interpreted, the mind

  241. understands. Every time tongue is interpreted,

  242. the mind what? Understands. So it's no more a

  243. musterion. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.

  244. So to the human mind, tongues are not understood.

  245. Because in the spirit, the believer is. involved

  246. in a discussion with God. Hallelujah. In the

  247. spirit, the believer is involved in a what? Discussion

  248. with God. I believe this has answered questions

  249. on when I pray in tongues, who am I really praying?

  250. When I do and I begin to utter, who am I really

  251. talking to? Am I talking to Pastor Koston? You

  252. know, some people are ashamed to pray in tongues.

  253. You know, because... when you stand close to

  254. them, they will now reduce their voice. As you

  255. are just standing there, Pastor Fred, you know,

  256. as we say, can everybody pray in tongue here?

  257. Once they see, a pastor is coming close. In fact,

  258. some will not only reduce it, some will change

  259. direction. I just got this by the Spirit of the

  260. Lord. Don't compare your tongues with another

  261. man's tongue. I just got this now by the Spirit

  262. of God. You're creating an audience with God.

  263. You're not creating an audience with men. Praise

  264. God. You're not speaking to men. You're speaking

  265. unto who? Unto God. How be it you speak in the

  266. Spirit and not in the human language? Praise

  267. God. Are we all here? Yeah, so this should answer

  268. a question in someone's heart now. So because

  269. there's a big question. How does my tongue sound?

  270. Or how should my tongue sound? This is a big

  271. question. Most times, people, most people that

  272. you struggle with regarding the baptism with

  273. the Holy Ghost, with an evidence of praying in

  274. tongues, most times this is their major question.

  275. I don't know what I'm saying. Have you met them

  276. like that? Yeah, they will tell you, I don't

  277. know what I'm saying, number one. And two, they

  278. will tell you that what I'm saying looks stupid

  279. to me. Then the third thing they will say is,

  280. I don't understand what I'm saying. I thought

  281. I should be saying something that my mind can

  282. what? Understand. You see, supernatural things

  283. are always not logical to the human mind until

  284. they are taught. Do you hear what I said? Supernatural

  285. things are not what? Are always not what? Logical

  286. to the human mind until they are what? until

  287. they are taught. Tongues will not be logical

  288. to your mind until it is interpreted. It will

  289. never be logical. And I said something strong

  290. yesterday. Everything supernatural will always

  291. have effect in the natural. So the effect of

  292. supernatural activity called tongue in the natural

  293. is what? Interpretation. So now the human mind

  294. can now what? Perceive it and understand. Laying

  295. on of hands is a supernatural activity. But you

  296. see, you just do it in the what? In the what?

  297. In the physical. But something supernatural is

  298. happening. But now the next thing, how do we

  299. know a supernatural thing has happened? We now

  300. see what? Healing taking place. We now see a

  301. baptism with the Holy Ghost happening. And then

  302. we have evidence of what? Speaking in other tongues.

  303. Evidence. So it's not logical to your mind. So

  304. don't seek to apply your logical mind. Always

  305. when it comes. You know, sometimes you can be

  306. seated as we are seated here now. The Spirit

  307. of God will give you a word for someone in this

  308. place. And you say, what if now I ask him and

  309. the person say I'm lying? And then you're perceiving

  310. it much more stronger in your heart. Many times

  311. you have heard me say, I know what I'm saying.

  312. You must have heard me have said it one, two,

  313. three. As I hear, I say, no, this is what I'm

  314. saying. I know what I'm saying. For example,

  315. yesterday, when man of God say, if you know you're

  316. here, and she raised her, from the back, I heard

  317. that there's someone again here. And from nowhere,

  318. our sister now walked up here. Practicals. I

  319. don't know. What's your name, sister? Huh? Okay.

  320. Did you speak in tongues yesterday? She has been

  321. speaking in tongues, so I never needed to ask

  322. her. But you spoke in tongues yesterday. Don't

  323. be shy. Are you always shy? Uh -huh. Don't be

  324. shy. With all that you have learned now, you

  325. can speak in tongues again, right? All that you

  326. have learned so far, you can speak in tongues,

  327. right? Perfect. Good. Anyone here, again, that

  328. does not speak in tongues? Okay. You know, yesterday

  329. I said I will put our ear close to your mouth.

  330. We are going to do it today. Don't go to the

  331. restroom. Yes, don't go to the restroom. You

  332. know, people can be so listening. You know, yesterday

  333. I said it. And you know, people are laughing.

  334. And people do it. They say, can we speak in tongues?

  335. Or they say, is there anybody that does not speak

  336. in tongues? Nobody will listen. So, which means,

  337. everybody speak in tongues. But now, can we speak

  338. in tongues? You start praying in French. And

  339. you know, Somebody that does not understand in

  340. French, he will see you. And then he will say,

  341. oh boy, he's on fire. He's on fire. So how does

  342. my tongue sound? Well, how should my tongue sound?

  343. Because that's a big question in people's heart

  344. now. So we say that tongues, what? It's an ability

  345. in the spirit. Have we said that before? Yes,

  346. we said that, right? But actually, it has a sound.

  347. Amen? You know, we say lalia. Didn't we say lalia?

  348. Yeah, we say lalia. We also say from the Genesis

  349. 19, we say daba. Right? Yeah, so which means

  350. that when I'm speaking, there's what? There's

  351. a sound. Praise God. Praise God. Isaiah 28, 11.

  352. Isaiah 28, 11. Thank you, Holy Spirit. You create

  353. audience with God. You don't create audience

  354. with men. I will say this a thousand times. You

  355. create audience with God. You don't create audience

  356. with what? With men. Let your attention be on

  357. God, not on men. Let your attention be on God,

  358. not on men. When you set out to pray in tongues,

  359. let your attention be on God and not with what?

  360. On men. Let your attention be on God and not

  361. what? And not meant that way. Much more will

  362. be happening in your spirit. Much more will be

  363. coming. Much more interpretation. Much more word

  364. of knowledge. Much more word of wisdom. Much

  365. more the prophetic. Much more instructions are

  366. going to be deposited. Much more the Holy Ghost

  367. will be revealing in your spirit. Hallelujah.

  368. 28, 11. For with tamarind leaves and another

  369. tongue will he speak to what? To his people.

  370. To whom he said. This is the rest wherewith ye

  371. may cause the weary to what? To rest. And this

  372. is the refreshing. Yet they will not hear. But

  373. the word of the Lord was unto them precept upon

  374. what? Precept, precept upon precept, line upon

  375. line, line upon line, here a little and there

  376. a little, and they might go and fall backward

  377. and be broken and snared and taken. But verse

  378. 11 says, with stammering lips and another what?

  379. Tongue, will he speak to his what? Will he speak

  380. to his what? Will he speak to his people? So

  381. that word tongue in the Hebrew, that word tongue

  382. in Hebrew is called Lashon, which means communication.

  383. Lashon, L -A -S -H -I -O -N. It means communication.

  384. Tongue, communication. And then another, another

  385. in Hebrew words, lashon, L -A -S -H -I -O -N

  386. -E. Another in the Hebrew word is achar, A -C

  387. -H -E -R, which implies something strange. Something

  388. strange. With stammering lips and another tongue.

  389. Another, achar, A -C -H -E -R. Something strange.

  390. Tongue, lashon, communication. Stamarin leaves.

  391. The word leaves, we have said it here. Sapa,

  392. right? Yes, we have said it. Sapa. Just as in

  393. Genesis 11 verse 1. So, it's something spoken,

    Genesis 11:1

  394. not written. Right? Something what? Spoken. Not

  395. written. So, it's used for languages that need

  396. what? Interpretation. The word stamarin is lae.

  397. L -E. L -A -E -G. Which implies something that

  398. is unusual, used for mockery. Something that

  399. is unusual, used for mockery. Don't go out. Come.

  400. Come and sit down. Come and sit down. Don't worry.

  401. You pick that call. I want you to hear this part.

  402. Tell the person to keep the money for you. I

  403. want you to hear this part. Please. You know

  404. why? You're going to help somebody in coming

  405. days. You're going to help somebody with this

  406. clarity. You see, as I raised my hand, I wasn't

  407. looking for anybody. She was the one I was looking

  408. for. And as I didn't see her, I said, ah! Now,

  409. now. The word stammering is what? Lae, which

  410. implies something that is what? Unusual, useful

  411. mockery. Useful mockery. So we can say it here.

  412. With a mockery, with a mockery speaking, right?

  413. And a strange what? And a strange communication,

  414. will he speak to his what? To his what? To his

  415. people. I'm just putting all the meanings of

  416. what we have written. into Isaiah 28, 11. That's

  417. just what I just did. Now all the meanings, I'm

  418. just putting it in Isaiah 28, 11. Are we all

  419. here? Psalms 35, 16. Psalms 35, 16. Psalms 35,

    Psalms 35:16

  420. verse 16. Have we been blessed so far? Are we

  421. understanding the benefits of tongues? We know

  422. who should speak in tongues. We know who tongues

  423. is addressed to. That is not addressed to any

  424. human, right? It's addressed to who? To God,

  425. right? Perfect. So we are now looking at how

  426. should my tongues sound? When I'm speaking in

  427. tongues and I'm speaking, what happens? Is it

  428. supposed to be like I said? I started out saying

  429. this. Some people want their tongue to be sweet.

  430. I love her tongues. Her tongues is like peace

  431. language. Cincinnati. Alaska, Alaska, Madagascar,

  432. Madagascar, Honolulu, Honolulu. Some people want

  433. their tongue to be this sweet. You know, some

  434. people even judge some people's other tongues.

  435. When they hear the person is just doing Shabalada,

  436. Shabalada, Shabalada, Shabalada, you know what

  437. I mean? How many of these guys are doing Shabalada?

  438. Let me say this. Who are you to judge another

  439. man's tongue? That was just a joke. Praise God.

  440. All of us, we have an audience with God. Praise

  441. God. Then the third group now is, when they are

  442. speaking in talks, they will put their ear to

  443. hear the neighbor's tongue. Holy Spirit. He is

  444. giving you utterance. Don't be afraid. He is

  445. giving you options. Don't be afraid. Just open

  446. up your mouth. Begin to speak. Begin to speak.

  447. You will get better at this high -end language.

  448. You will get better at this undisclosed language

  449. that needs to be disclosed. You will get better.

  450. I tell you this by the Spirit of God. You will

  451. get better at it. Psalm 35, 16 now. Oh, 35, 35.

  452. With hypocritical what? Mockers in feasts, they

  453. gnashed upon me with their what? They gnashed

  454. upon me with their teeth. That word mockers is

  455. the same word for laie, stammering. It's the

  456. same word. It's the same word. Used for what?

  457. Stammering, as we read in Isaiah 28, 11. Something

  458. foreign. Something new. Something foreign. Mockery.

  459. Are we all here? So, having established this,

  460. we now realize that when we talk about tongues,

  461. right? Tongues is a different kind of communication

  462. that will always sound. like mockery, like a

  463. jest. Tongues will always sound like a what?

  464. A mockery communication. When you hear us, when

  465. humanity comes, let me use that word, when humanity

  466. comes around you, right, and they don't understand,

  467. not you, all of us, we pray in tongues here,

  468. so we understand. Amen? What I'm saying. But

  469. when an unlearned person comes here, And then

  470. he sees like that man that came in. Can you imagine

  471. yesterday? We're praying though. The man just

  472. stood by the door. He was dancing. Do you know

  473. when three of them or four of them come here,

  474. they'll say all of us are stupid. Yes. In fact,

  475. let me tell you what they'll do. They'll bring

  476. out their phones and they'll be smiling and be

  477. taking video. So I think these guys are losing

  478. their minds. So tongues, because it's supernatural,

  479. right? Do you know, let me say this now. Oh,

  480. let's go back to 1 Corinthians 2. Where we read

  481. chapter 2. So that you will see something. So

  482. that you will see. Verse 14. Verse 14. Verse

  483. Corinthians 2, 14. But the natural man received

  484. not what? The things of what? Of the spirit of

  485. God. For they are what? For they are what? Your

  486. what say? For they are foolishness to him. Next

  487. slide says what? Neither what? Can they what?

  488. Know them because they are what? Spiritually

  489. discerned. So tongues is a different kind of

  490. communication. It's a language that sounds. This

  491. is answering someone's question. The words I'm

  492. saying, I don't understand them. Yes, your mind

  493. cannot understand them intelligently. They sound,

  494. they will sound like what? Mockery. So don't

  495. apply effort and energy trying to understand

  496. the words in human language. No. Amen? See, for

  497. example, 1 Corinthians 14, 21. 1 Corinthians

  498. 14, 21. In the law it is written, with men of

  499. what? With men of other tongues and other lips,

  500. will I what? Will I speak unto these people?

  501. And yet for all that will they not hear me said

  502. what? Yes, strange communications. Strange. So

  503. if you are having King James Version, you realize

  504. that, you know, that place, man of, is actually

  505. size. So which means that it was added by what?

  506. Translators. So if we're going to read that place,

  507. say, with other tongues. Praise God. With other

  508. tongues and other leaves will I speak unto what?

  509. Unto these people. That is the same rendition

  510. from where we read in Isaiah. Are we all here?

  511. Are we all here? So now, having said all this

  512. now, let's read Acts chapter 2 verse 4. So now

    Acts 2:4

  513. you now grasp properly now. Can you see that

  514. the sound of tongues will always look like mockery?

  515. So if you are waiting for your tongue to sound

  516. like Queen's English, you came late. The occasion

  517. is over. See Acts chapter 2 verse 4, everybody.

    Acts 2:4

  518. And they were all filled with the what? With

  519. the Holy Ghost. And they what? Began to speak

  520. with what? In fact, let me do it as it's coming

  521. to my head now. Carry the meaning. Of another.

  522. And tongues that we just wrote from. The Old

  523. Testament where we read. And put here. As the

  524. spirit gave them utterance. And they say to me.

  525. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost.

  526. And they began to speak. With what? Strange.

  527. Communication. And because they were speaking.

  528. A strange communication. Verse 6. Now when this

  529. was noise abroad. The multitude came together

  530. and were what? And they were confounded because

  531. every man had them speak in his own what? In

  532. his own tongue. See 13 now. Go to 13 everybody.

  533. Others doing what? Others doing what? Mocking,

  534. saying what? Can you see? So there were people

  535. that hurt them, whereas others were laughing.

  536. There were a group of people, such a mighty atmosphere.

  537. And there were people standing there and they

  538. were laughing. So if you are waiting for your

  539. tongue to sound sweet, you came late. Every time

  540. you set out to pray in tongues, it's going to

  541. sound what? Strange, like a jest or what? Have

  542. a form of a what? Mockery. Do you know why? Because

  543. the human mind cannot what? Understand it. Until

  544. it is what? Interpret it. How be it you are creating

  545. audience with who? With God. Can we create an

  546. audience in the next two minutes with God? Can

  547. we pray in tongues now? I just perceive in my

  548. heart that let's pray in tongues. Don't wait

  549. for any atmosphere. There's no atmosphere. The

  550. atmosphere is inside you. You are the atmosphere.

  551. If you're online and you're listening, do likewise.

  552. Pray in other tongues. Pray, pray, pray, pray,

  553. pray. in right now. No wonder someone has said

  554. in his heart, no wonder when I pray in tongues,

  555. the way I'm saying it, I don't understand it.

  556. No wonder the sound of my tongues is somehow.

  557. No wonder my mind cannot understand. Yes, your

  558. mind cannot understand because it's a supernatural

  559. ability by the Spirit of God in your inside.

  560. Let me hear you. Let me hear you. Do your mind

  561. cannot understand it? Your spirit understand

  562. it? Do your mind cannot understand it? God understand

  563. it? Do your mind cannot understand it? Interpretation

  564. is coming! Interpretation is here so that that

  565. which is happening in your inside, the mind can

  566. understand and you are edified. Thank you, Holy

  567. Ghost. Thank you, Holy Ghost. In Jesus name we

  568. pray. In the name of Jesus. So do we know how

  569. tongues sounds now? Do we know how tongues sounds?

  570. Hallelujah. To everywhere you go. Praise God.

  571. I just had in my spirit to say to somebody who

  572. is still struggling. Don't be ashamed when it

  573. comes to praying in tongues. Don't be ashamed.

  574. It's your reality. The utterance is inside you.

  575. It will not be given to you tomorrow. It will

  576. be given to you now. Hallelujah. There's a word

  577. we sing here. I'm doing a new thing. I'm doing

  578. a new thing in your life. I'm doing a new thing

  579. in your life. That's what the Lord is saying.

  580. I'm doing a new thing in your life and I'm going

  581. to use you to bring about the revelation of God's

  582. word in your nation. I'm using you to bring about

  583. the revelation of God's word in your nation.

  584. I'm going to use you to bring about restoration

  585. to my church. There shall be a cleansing of my

  586. church. There shall be a restoration of truth

  587. on the pulpits in our churches. And I'm raising

  588. you an army, an army that will bring about the

  589. revelation of truth. That the church is brought

  590. back to its line, to its initial plan. That I'm

  591. using you as a new breed of men and women. That

  592. will establish truth on the pulpits. That will

  593. bring about the revelation of the truth of God's

  594. word in this generation. This generation needs

  595. men and women. And I'm revealing the truth to

  596. you. And investing my word in you. I'm investing

  597. my spirit in you. So that you can rise. So that

  598. you can speak. So that you can reveal the truth

  599. to this generation. I'm raising you as men full

  600. of the spirit. With boldness. By the power of

  601. the Holy Ghost. With signs and wonders accompanying.

  602. I'm raising you as men of unction. As men full

  603. of utterances. As you go about to preach. Eyes

  604. of men are open. As you lay hands on the sick.

  605. Healings are happening. As you speak to men.

  606. Revelation of truth is passed to them. There

  607. is transformation in nations through your hands,

  608. through your words, through the preaching of

  609. the gospel. I'm using you to change generations.

  610. I'm using you to even raise leaders for tomorrow.

  611. I'm using you to bless this generation and the

  612. one to come. I'm using you to bring about the

  613. establishment of the kingdom of God in the life

  614. of men in the name of Jesus Christ. Glory to

  615. God. Glory to God. Glory to God. Glory to God.

  616. Glory to God. I perceive a staring much more

  617. in our hearts. Can we pray in tongues? There's

  618. a staring. I perceive that. Can anybody confirm

  619. that too? Yes, I perceive. I perceive that. I

  620. perceive that much more. Okay, yeah. There's

  621. someone confirming it already. Thank you, Father.

  622. In Jesus' name we pray. In the name of Jesus.

  623. So we can say that tongues are abilities in the

  624. spirit of the believer. You can write this now

  625. and then we close on this. We're going to have

  626. much more to build upon this that we have. At

  627. least we have given a good introduction on tongues,

  628. right? Haven't we given a good introduction?

  629. Yes, this is a perfect introduction on tongues.

  630. Amen? So we can say that tongues is an ability

  631. in the spirit of the believer. It's an ability

  632. in the spirit of the believer. Or a spiritual

  633. mode of communication to God by believers verbalized

  634. clearly in the Spirit. You see, that word carefully,

  635. verbalize. Or a spiritual mode of communication

  636. to God by believers verbalized clearly in what?

  637. In the Spirit. Verbalized clearly in the Spirit.

  638. Thank you, Holy Spirit. So write this. Tongues

  639. is not a human language which can be learned.

  640. Neither is it an evolution of a language. Tongues

  641. is not a human language which can be what? Which

  642. can be learned. And it's not also an evolution

  643. of what? Of language. And then write this now.

  644. That tongues is a post -resurrection reality

  645. we have in Christ Jesus. Glory to God. It's a

  646. post -resurrection reality that we have in who?

  647. In Christ Jesus. Oh, thank you, Holy Spirit.

  648. I still can remember when my mom gave her life

  649. to Christ and began to speak in tongues. It was

  650. something joyful for her. Every night. Every

  651. night I will hear my mom. You know my mom. Every

  652. night always my mom will be praying. Every night.

  653. One of these days I came from school. So I was

  654. dreaming. You know when you're in secondary school

  655. and you have seniors. The ones that beat you.

  656. The ones that love you. The ones that you always

  657. dream with them. I dream with one of my seniors.

  658. You know. And in the dreaming I was talking.

  659. In the dream. I dreamt that, you know, except

  660. it has not happened to you. If you're in boarding

  661. school, once it's close to going back, you don't

  662. like it. So that night I was dreaming that I

  663. reached school and then I saw one of my seniors.

  664. His name is Twanga. So, and then we call him

  665. Tumsi. So in the dream, I was like, Tumsi, Tumsi.

  666. So I didn't know from the dream, I now sounded.

  667. Because we sleep with my mom around. I now woke

  668. up, I saw my mom. I rebuke the spirit of Tumsi.

  669. I rebuke the spirit of Tumsi. I rebuke the spirit

  670. of Tumsi. Except my mom is sick. I've never had

  671. a night where she... Some of you have those kind

  672. of mothers. I've never seen a night where she

  673. does not pray. She said, the Lord is showing

  674. me this. The Lord has opened my eyes. The Lord

  675. has opened my eyes. The Lord has opened my eyes.

  676. I saw this. I saw that. I saw this. I remember

  677. she said, I should not come back home. I should

  678. stay in Cyprus. Because she saw that I came home,

  679. I never returned. So I bought my ticket without

  680. telling her. I'm telling you, they didn't know

  681. I bought my ticket when I was going home. They

  682. didn't know. See, just have several dreams. I

  683. return home. She has prayed. Nothing will bring

  684. me. And she has prayed about it. When the time

  685. came, I bought my ticket without telling them.

  686. So it's a post -restoration what? Reality that

  687. we have in who? In who? In who? So please write

  688. this down, the last statement, and then we jump

  689. into interpretation of tongues. Praise God. In

  690. fact, let me put it so you can personalize it.

  691. Say my joy. Write it. My joy. No, write it. Write

  692. it. My joy and confidence when speaking in tongues.

  693. My joy and confidence when speaking in tongues

  694. is that I have a spiritual communication with

  695. the Father. That also defines my fellowship with

  696. Him. My joy and confidence when speaking in tongues

  697. is that what? I have a spiritual communication

  698. with the Father. Right? Have you written that?

  699. I have a spiritual communication with the Father

  700. which defines what? My fellowship. Which also

  701. defines my fellowship with Him. Hallelujah. Praise

  702. God. Hallelujah. So this is a beautiful way to

  703. start out on what? On tongues. Amen? Hallelujah.

  704. Praise God. Yes, so, we're on point. We're on

  705. point. Because once we do interpretation of tongues,

  706. we're already automatically also doing what?

  707. Prophecy. Praise God. Hallelujah. Are we all

  708. here? Have we been blessed so far? Have we been

  709. blessed so far? Are we going to pray more in

  710. tongues? Are we going to pray more in tongues?

  711. You see, these words are not only blessing you.

  712. If you know the way I'm blessed, I'm feeling

  713. like for the sake of teaching. If not, we are

  714. keeping this now. We will take one hour stretch,

  715. steady. We will cruise first. One hour. You know

  716. yesterday what Pastor Victor just gave us? Have

  717. you noticed that one hour is more for us now?

  718. When praying in tongues, have you noticed that?

  719. Yes. In fact, sir, even the time of catechism

  720. is even getting distant. Yes. Yes, yes, yes,

  721. yes, yes. We either make it two weeks or we make

  722. it five to nine. Oh, is that five to nine? Nine

  723. to nine. Do you know why? So that when we come,

  724. right, other sessions are going to be finishing

  725. in the evening. No, let's reason this together.

  726. Let's reason. Let's plan. Let's plan this together.

  727. Let's plan. Let's plan. So, let's plan this.

  728. Come on now. What I'm saying is your mind can

  729. understand it. Now, let's reason this together.

  730. So, we now have morning session. We now have

  731. afternoon session. We take our lunch. Right?

  732. So, when we take our lunch, we're not coming

  733. for a session. We now enter town. Whatever that

  734. we have learned, we go and practicalize it. You

  735. get? So, from that afternoon, Till five, we are

  736. unfilled. Right? Yeah, so for example now, when

  737. we finish tongues, interpretation of tongues,

  738. and then prophecy, right? By then we have been

  739. taught on baptism with the Holy Ghost, right?

  740. So we have the knowledge. And how to get people

  741. baptized with the Holy Ghost. Right? So when

  742. we now go out that afternoon, are you all with

  743. me? We are making a good plan now. So we will

  744. now go out. When we now go out. We now do that.

  745. Everybody. When we now do it, from where you

  746. are, you're not going home. We are coming back

  747. here. So when we come back here, we'll take like

  748. two hours to refresh in the Holy Ghost tongues.

  749. Then we'll now have evening session. Does this

  750. look like believers meeting? Praise God. Hallelujah.

  751. Somebody say oh boy. Praise God. It's your church.

  752. Church will kill you. It has never killed us.

  753. It has given us eternal life. I will say this

  754. before we start. When I was in university, because

  755. I've been, this thing we have been doing, I've

  756. been doing it from primary school till now. Let

  757. me use the word that they use. We've been church

  758. boys. I got to university. Then someone told

  759. me, someone very close to me, he told me, he

  760. said, they used to say I'm smart. They used to

  761. say I'm smart. I'm still smart. So, So when I

  762. got to university, we got to university to graduate

  763. with first class, but we got busy with watching

  764. movies and we're doing this, you know. But in

  765. between, we're still doing ministry, you know,

  766. but we're not reading books, not reading our

  767. books. So after one year, they released my results.

  768. We got, see, we entered to get first class and

  769. also 2 .98, 2 .98 in five bands. Second class

  770. lower. Ah. That was the first time I understood

  771. the power of association. All the people we watch

  772. movies with were on two points. All of us. Even

  773. the ones studying medicine. But you know 2 .89

  774. in medical school is a pass. So then their names

  775. came out, they are pass. I changed my friends

  776. first year. Second year, I changed a classroom.

  777. So, then this person called me. He said, I noticed

  778. that. You've been wasting your time. You've been

  779. saying you're doing church, church, church, church,

  780. church. And you're not reading your books. Even

  781. me with my church, I still graduated close to

  782. first class. 4 .4 something. That's what I'm

  783. trying to tell me. I just forgot about the distance.

  784. I continue on my life. Fast forward into many

  785. years. I'm in Cyprus. Now say, see, I'm proud

  786. of you people. Because, you see, ministry is

  787. your life. This is what you should be doing.

  788. This is this, this, this, this. I say, what were

  789. we doing before? Be hardworking. Excel in academics.

  790. Excel in your natural life. Excel in business.

  791. Excel in everything. But ensure that your relationship

  792. with Jesus, the work of ministry is first. Hallelujah.

  793. Let me say like Paul would say, everything shall

  794. pass away. Your certificate will pass. Everything,

  795. whatever. In fact, Christ would say, the life

  796. of a man is not consisted in the abundance of

  797. things he works. Yes. Say, I found meaning. I've

  798. found meaning. And that meaning is defined. And

  799. that meaning is defined. And that meaning is

  800. established in Christ Jesus. And I'm going to

  801. follow it till the end. Hallelujah. Interpretation

  802. of tongues. Are we all here? Yes, interpretation

  803. of tongues. Let's go. Interpretation of tongues.

  804. 1 Corinthians chapter 14. Verse 5, everybody.

    1 Corinthians 14 chapter mention

  805. 1 Corinthians chapter 14, verse 5. I would that

    1 Corinthians 14:5

  806. ye all, what? Speak with tongues. We already

  807. established all, right? But rather that ye may,

  808. what? That ye, what? For greater is he that prophesied

  809. than he that speaketh with tongues, except he

  810. what? That the church may receive what? A defiant.

  811. Praise God. Right? So which means that tongues

  812. cannot be understood except they are what? Interpreted.

  813. And in the believer is tongues and in the believer

  814. is interpretation. Have we established that?

  815. That the believer has tongues and the believer

  816. also has what? Interpretations. Praise God. Now,

  817. the word interpretation. Oh, before we go that,

  818. let's go to that chapter 12. Let's read chapter

  819. 12 so that we establish a proper doctrine there.

  820. 1 Corinthians chapter 12. Verse 10. To another,

    1 Corinthians 12 chapter mention

  821. the walking of miracles, to another prophecy,

  822. to another discerning of spirits, to another

  823. what? Diverse kinds of tongues. If you're using

  824. King James Version, you see that diverse is italicized.

  825. Which means that in the original context, it

  826. wasn't what? It wasn't there. Just say kinds

  827. of tongues. Right? And when you check the original

  828. word for that, kinds, it talks about nation.

  829. A people. Right? Yes. So a people with a kind

  830. of tongue. Praise God. To another, the interpretation

  831. of what? Of tongues. So in the believer, we have

  832. tongues. And in the believer, we have what? Interpretation

  833. of what? Of tongues. Praise God. Is that okay?

  834. Good, so interpretation. That word interpretation,

  835. which we have handled here, is from the word

  836. diarmenio. Diermenio. D -I -E -R -M -E, the Greek

  837. word for it, D -I -E -R -M -E -N -E -U -O. Diermenio.

  838. D -I -E -R -M -E -N -E -O -U -O. Which is a combination

  839. of two Greek words, dia and hermenio. Diermenio.

  840. D -I -E -R -M -E -N -E -U -O. From two words,

  841. dia and what? Hermenio. Hermenio is H -E -R -M

  842. -E -N -U -E -O. Same word with dia, just put

  843. her. H -E -R. Dia means two. In the midst of

  844. two. Between two. D -I -A, dia, means what? Two.

  845. In the midst of two. Amongst two. Please don't

  846. forget we are talking about interpretation of

  847. what? Tongues. We have already established tongues,

  848. right? That is for all believers. It's in all

  849. believers. And all believers should pray in tongues.

  850. Are we here? So now we are talking about interpretation

  851. of what? Of tongues. So in the midst of two,

  852. dia means in the midst of two, between two or

  853. amongst two. So whereas, hermeneo implies to

  854. explain or to expound. To explain. Hermeneo is

  855. what? To explain. To expound. So if we are going

  856. to now define diarmeneo properly, we are going

  857. to say, To give detail or complete explanation.

  858. To give detail or complete explanation. To give

  859. detail or complete explanation. That is to cut

  860. across two languages. Daya, Hermenio. Hermenio

  861. is said to explain, right? Daya means in the

  862. midst of two, right? So, dia hermenio or dia

  863. menio, right? It means to give complete or detailed

  864. explanation. And such type of explanation cuts

  865. across two communications. Two languages. Such

  866. communication will cut across what? Two languages

  867. and more. Are we all here? Yes, so that is their

  868. menu. So what we are saying is that when we have

  869. interpretation of tongues, is that now we are

  870. bringing importance, right, to tongues. So when

  871. I pray in tongues and I interpret it, now I bring

  872. significance to it. Hallelujah. It does not become

  873. a jest again. It does not become a mockery. Are

  874. we all here? So when a tongue is interpreted,

  875. you know we said diarmenia means to do what?

  876. To explain, complete explanation, a detailed

  877. explanation, right? So now when I interpret tongues,

  878. what is happening is that I'm bringing a complete

  879. explanation. I'm bringing significance. To the

  880. communication. Are we all here? Is it clear so

  881. far? So, for example, now, 1 Corinthians 45,

  882. where we read, he said, I will that ye all speak

  883. with tongues, but rather that ye prophesied.

  884. For greater is he that what? Prophesied than

  885. he that speaketh with what? Except he what? Except

  886. your Bible. Except he. Except he interprets.

  887. So take the meaning of diarmenio and put in that

  888. place. Except he what? Interprets. So you see,

  889. when he gives a complete explanation, then the

  890. church is what? Edified. Are we all here? The

  891. church is edified. See verse 13 now. 1 Corinthians

  892. 14, 13. For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my

  893. spirit what? No, no, no, 13, sorry. 1 Corinthians

  894. 14, 13. Wherefore, let him that speaketh in an

  895. unknown tongue pray that he what? That he interprets.

  896. Who interprets? Who interprets? The speaker.

  897. Amen? Perfect. We're all here then. 26, verse

  898. 26. How it is then that brethren, when you come

  899. together, every one of you, all of you, Every

  900. one of you had a psalm, had a doctrine, had a

  901. tongue, had a revelation, had a what? Interpretation.

  902. Let all things be done unto what? Edifying. Does

  903. this look like verse 5? That when you pray in

  904. tongues and you interpret, edification comes

  905. to the church. Does it look like it? Perfect.

  906. We are all on the same line now. Verse 27 now.

  907. If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it

  908. be by two or at most by three. Let's under by

  909. cause and let one what? Interpret. Can you see

  910. interpretation again? So all the place you have

  911. seen, tongues, tongues, tongues. The next thing

  912. you have seen is what? Interpretation. Let there

  913. be interpretation. Praise God. Because that's

  914. where significance come to it. Are we all here?

  915. C28. But if there be no interpreter, let him

  916. keep silence in the church. And let him speak

  917. to himself. And what? Somebody will say. That

  918. is it. I don't know why they keep disturbing

  919. us. About this tongue stone. They say if there

  920. be no interpreter. Then we should do what? We

  921. should shut up. Let me say the one that. You

  922. know. The pastor said, which tongue is that?

  923. Tongues of my people. You know, I told my wife,

  924. I said, for a long time, I had something to do

  925. with Yoruba people. I had a long time. But some

  926. people were arguing then in family house that

  927. they know I will marry a Yoruba person. They

  928. were seriously arguing in the kitchen. Even in

  929. the midst of, there were lots of Igbo people

  930. around. They said, no, they know. And for whatever

  931. reason, I need to know. Every other information

  932. concealed. That was a joke. Praise God. Hallelujah.

  933. Oh my God. Oh, not by God. Ah, okay. We are back.

  934. Let me be serious. Let me be serious. Oh God.

  935. Thank you, Jesus. So, so what we see in the scriptures,

  936. we see interpretation and interpret. Interpretation

  937. and what? Interpret, interchangeably, right?

  938. Yeah, so. We see that interpretation and interpret

  939. is from same word, Hermenia. Right? Hermenia.

  940. From the same root word, Hermenio. So, which

  941. means, it implies to give what? To give meaning.

  942. To expound. Right? Right, to give meaning. However,

  943. Hermenio in itself is not complete yet. Because

  944. when you Hermenio, right, what is happening is

  945. that you are leaving some information. But when

  946. you diarmenio, you ensure that all informations

  947. are passed across. Are we all here? Because what

  948. is happening is that now, you are going to cut

  949. across everywhere to ensure that there is proper

  950. understanding. Question. Luke 24, 27. Now, let's

  951. see. What Jesus did, he didn't do diarmenio.

  952. He did what? He did what? The Emmanuel. Luke

    Luke 24:27

  953. 24, verse 27. Then he said from 25, then he said

  954. unto them, all fools and slow of heart to believe

  955. all that the prophets have what? All that the

  956. prophets have what? All that the prophets have

  957. what? Spoken, we have had that in this church

  958. now, so don't get cold on me. 26, ought not Christ

  959. to have suffered these things and to enter into

  960. his what? 27, all together. And beginning at,

  961. and beginning at, was Moses written in English

  962. language? Was Moses written in English language?

  963. It was written in what? In Hebrew, right? And

  964. all the prophets, praise God, he expounded unto

  965. them in what? In all what? Scriptures, the things

  966. concerning what? Himself. Pastor Victor taught

  967. us here, right? The primary languages that the

  968. scripture was written is what and what, what

  969. and what, what and what? Hebrew, Greek and Aramaic.

  970. Does it look like English language to you? So

  971. if now I want to explain something in Hebrew,

  972. in Greek and Aramaic to you, and I just only

  973. use Greek. And then I needed to carry an important

  974. information that have a contextual meaning that

  975. should help you. And that word is now in Hebrew.

  976. I said Greek, right? The first. Okay, let's start

  977. with Hebrew. And then I have an important information

  978. that will carry a good context in Greek. And

  979. I refuse to say anything about it. And in the

  980. midst where I'm supposed to make that emphasis,

  981. I'll tell you that. Hope you understand. I conceal

  982. it entirely and don't say it. And I finish. Will

  983. it leave you with understanding or it will leave

  984. you with questions? Eh? It will leave you with

  985. questions because the communication is not complete.

  986. Amen? So, what Jesus did here, he said, I'm beginning

  987. at Moses and what? All the prophets, he expounded.

  988. That word expounded is diarmenio. On to them,

  989. in what? Underline the word. It's your Bible.

  990. Underline the word. All the scriptures. The things

  991. concerning who? Himself. Hallelujah. Praise God.

  992. That's what Christ did. And that's what we are

  993. seeing. Praise God. Are we all here? Are we all

  994. here? So that word expounded was translated from

  995. the same Greek word, which means to explain in

  996. detail and completely. In detail. And what? Completely.

  997. So Jesus didn't just barely read the Old Testament

  998. and just, you know, just went through events

  999. and stories like that and just passed by. No,

1000. no, no, no, no. What he did is that he systematically

1001. cut across every part of the scriptures to talk

1002. about the things concerning himself. So diarmenio

1003. is that you are systematically cutting across

1004. what? Everywhere. To give a complete explanation.

1005. Are we all here? This is important when it comes

1006. to interpretation of tongues. Because it's going

1007. to help us. Amen? Good. So now, hence when we

1008. say interpretation of tongues, right? Are we

1009. all here with me? When we say interpretation

1010. of tongues, we're not talking about translation

1011. of tongues. Please write it down. When we say

1012. interpretation of tongues, we don't mean what?

1013. Translation of what? Of tongues. That's why Pastor

1014. Victor mentioned, when I heard it, I was laughing.

  1015. That G .P .T. is now... translating tongues.

1016. Because he's not interpreting it. In fact, I

1017. don't know. JGBT will tell you that this is a

  1018. gibberish. It's a confused language. I want to

1019. say something, but let me keep quiet. He's not

1020. a brother. So interpretation of tongues is not

1021. what? Translation of tongues. Why? We have established

1022. that tongues is a supernatural what? Communication.

  1023. It's a supernatural language. So it's not translated.

1024. It can only be interpreted. Hallelujah. Praise

1025. God. Praise God. So we can't say explain your

1026. tongues. Because if we are saying you should

1027. explain your tongues, what we are saying directly

1028. is that we are carrying all the syllables of

1029. what you are saying, right? And we are not giving

1030. meaning to them. That's confusion. Praise God.

1031. But rather it is what? Interpretation of what?

1032. Of tongues. Are we all here? Are we all here?

1033. Are we all here? So when we say interpretation

1034. of tongues, again, what we are saying in essence

1035. is that we are giving meaning to tongues. We

1036. are uncovering the information inside tongues.

1037. We are uncovering the information inside tongues.

1038. You see, this should be a huge comfort to your

1039. heart that you're not just praying in tongues

1040. only, but you can interpret the tongues. Hallelujah.

1041. That you are uncovering the information, what?

1042. In the tongues. So there is an explanation to

1043. the outcome of your discussion with God. Praise

1044. God. Let me say this, it's so beautiful. There

1045. is an explanation to the what? To the outcome

1046. of your discussion with God. So, having said

1047. this, We will say this now. Interpretation of

1048. tongues does not come from your mind. It comes

1049. from the Spirit. You see why you cannot translate

1050. it? Interpretation of tongues comes from where?

1051. It does not come from your what? Your mind. It

1052. comes from where? Your Spirit. The same source.

1053. The Spirit gives tongues is also the Spirit that

1054. gives what? Interpretation. Hallelujah. So, what

1055. interpretation does from the spirit is that interpretation

1056. brings explanation to the human mind. So that

1057. the human mind can understand and be edified.

1058. Interpretation of tongues brings what? Explanation

1059. to the what? To the human mind. Not that from

1060. the human mind interpretation comes. But rather,

1061. interpretation of tongues comes from the spirit

1062. to where? To the human mind. So that the human

1063. mind can understand and be edified. Are we all

1064. here? Praise God. Praise God. So now, 1 Corinthians

    1 Corinthians 14:1

  1065. chapter 14 verse 1 now. 1 Corinthians 14, verse

    1 Corinthians 14:1

  1066. 1. 1 Corinthians 14, verse 1. Follow after charity

    1 Corinthians 14:1

1067. and desire spiritual words. Please, media team,

1068. that you are not putting this thing online. I

1069. hope you are going through your Bible. Okay.

1070. Follow after charity. Verse 1. Everybody. Follow

1071. after charity and desire what? But rather that

1072. ye may prophesy. Amen. 2. For he that speaketh

1073. in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men but

1074. unto God. We have done much more work on this.

1075. For no man understand how be it in the spirit

1076. he speaks what? Mysteries. But he that prophesies

1077. speaketh not unto men and speaketh unto men to

1078. edification. Right? Can you see that prophecy?

1079. Unto men is what? Edification. Tongues plus interpretation

1080. is what? Prophecy. Which brings what? Edification.

1081. That's what is in verse 5. Are we all here? And

1082. exhortation and comfort. Verse 4. He that speaketh

1083. in an unknown tongue edified what? Himself. Because

1084. it's a communication between you and God. Right?

1085. But he that prophesied edified what? The church.

1086. Five now. I would that ye all speak with tongues,

1087. but rather that ye prophesy. For greater is he

1088. that prophesied than he that speaketh with tongues,

1089. except he interprets that the church may receive

1090. what? Edifying. Prophecy edifies. Tongues and

1091. interpretation of tongues also edifies. So that

1092. is where tongues plus interpretation becomes

1093. what? Prophecy. I say add another equal to noun

1094. edification. Is it clear? Is it clear? You see,

1095. that's why I say, anytime you talk about tongues,

1096. don't ever stop there. They say, I want to pray

1097. in tongues. Don't stop there. Say, I want to

1098. pray in tongues and what? Interpret or what?

1099. Prophesy. Is that clear? Is that clear? You see,

1100. when that happens, oh boy, the place will be

1101. on fire. Praise God. Praise God. Are we all here?

1102. So now, verse 1. We're going to do a little word

1103. study and then build on this. Oh, perfect. Verse

1104. 1 now. Verse 1 started by saying follow after.

1105. That word follow after is translated from the

  1106. Greek word dioko. Dioko. D -I -O -K -O. Dioko.

1107. Follow after. It's from the word what? Dioko.

1108. It means to pursue. To pursue. Praise God. To

1109. pursue something. To press towards something.

1110. Dioko. To press something. To press towards something.

1111. Are we all there? Have we written that already?

  1112. Dioko. D -I -O -K -O. Follow after. That word

1113. follow after means dioko. To pursue. To pursue.

1114. To press towards. Then we now have charity. We

1115. know charity, Agape. Everybody knows charity.

1116. If my Bible is charity, in your translation,

1117. it might be what? It might be love. Praise God.

1118. Are we all there? So I don't need to give this

1119. one. So the word desire is a follow after charity

1120. and desire. You see, we are doing a word study

1121. now. We are going... In that verse now. We're

1122. still in verse 1. The word desire. There's a

1123. reason for that. The word desire. Are we all

1124. there? It's from the Greek word zelo. Zelo. Z

  1125. -E -L -O -O. Zelo. I love this word. I love this

1126. word. And that word zelo means to boil with passion.

1127. To boil over something with passion. To boil.

1128. To boil. When you check the root word for zillow,

1129. you realize that that meaning is that what? To

1130. be hot. To be hot. When you check the root word

  1131. for zillow, z -e -l -o -o, it means what? The

1132. root word for it is to be hot, to be fervent.

1133. Amen? So which means the believer should not

1134. have desires after the things of the Spirit that

1135. are just casual. Praise God. So your desire should

1136. not be what? Your desire for the spiritual should

1137. not be what? Casual. It should be hot. It should

1138. be on fire. It should be fervent. Then the next

1139. thing there you see is gifts. So if you check,

1140. if you're using King James Version like mine,

1141. you see the gifts there is italicized, right?

1142. Now, by now, I don't even need to say it again.

1143. By now, I'll just move on. By now, if you're

1144. using King James Version, anytime, if you're

1145. seeing... If you are seeing a word that is bent,

1146. just know that translators bended it inside.

1147. I don't know if there is a word like that. Yes,

1148. for English meaning. So that the human mind can

1149. understand. Are we all there? But we have learned

1150. in this church that that word there is not what?

1151. Gifts. You talk about what? Spirituals, right?

1152. Have we not learned it here? Have we been taught

1153. about it? Church, have we been taught about it?

1154. Okay. Before we tear out a sheet of paper now.

1155. I'll write a fast quiz. And then we say spiritualize

1156. is what? Tell me now, spiritualize is what? Pneumaticus,

1157. right? Okay, so let's move on now. Are we all

1158. here? So he now says what? Follow after. Pursue

1159. love. And also what? Be fervent. Boiled with

1160. passion. Regarding what? Spirituals. But he now

1161. say. But rather that ye may what? Prophesy. That

1162. word rather. Write it down. That word rather.

1163. Because now somebody will say. That is why he

1164. say. If I can't actually follow the spirituals.

1165. I think I better stick with my prophecy. I think

1166. my prophecy is okay. That's why did that place

1167. say rather. If I stay. No. That's not what the

1168. scripture says there. So, write the word rather.

1169. So, that word rather is translated from the word

  1170. malon. Malon. M -A -L -L -O -N. Malon. M -A -L

1171. -L -O -N. And the meaning of malon means much

1172. more. Can you see? It's not the rather in your

1173. English language. Paul would have not been writing

1174. this in English, no? Right? Yeah, so much more.

1175. He said much more or so much the more. Malon.

1176. Much more or what? So much what? The more. I'm

1177. saying this here so that when we finish now,

1178. we will now use all the meanings and you'll put

1179. in that verse and read it. Amen? So, much more.

1180. It does not refer to opposites. That word rather

1181. prophesy does not refer to what? Opposite. He's

1182. not saying follow after. Oppositely. Just what?

1183. Prophesy. No. It does not refer to the opposites.

1184. Much more or so much what? The more. Prophecy

1185. now. That word prophecy from the Greek word prophetio.

1186. Which implies to speak by inspiration. Prophetio

  1187. to speak by inspiration. Prophetio. P -R -O -P

  1188. -H -E. Prophet. Teuo. T -E -U -O. Just a T. Just

  1189. a T -E -U -O. Profe. T -E -U -O. It means to

1190. speak by inspiration. Hallelujah. Praise God.

1191. So with what we have done now, this short word

1192. study now, let's carry it and put it inside verse

1193. 1. Everybody now. Are we all there? Can we do

1194. that? Can we do that? Can we do that? Okay, let's

1195. put it. Yes, pursue after charity and boil with

1196. passion over spirituals, but much more that you

1197. may speak by what? So what he's saying is the

1198. same thing. Hallelujah. He's not saying that

1199. if you feel spirituals are not working, then

1200. take prophecy. No, no, no, no, no, no. You see?

1201. Paul carefully started this communication because

1202. the whole of that chapter is all about prophecy.

1203. And we started out by saying that, what is prophecy?

1204. What is prophecy? Speaking by inspiration, right?

1205. Okay, so when we say tongues plus interpretation

1206. of tongues becomes what? Prophecy leads to edification.

1207. So the whole of that chapter is about tongues

1208. and interpretation of tongues. Or you can say

1209. the whole of that chapter is about prophecy.

1210. The whole of that chapter is about edification.

1211. Praise God. Hallelujah. Do we have this understanding?

1212. So you see, when a believer prays in tongues

1213. and a believer interprets the tongues, it's equal

1214. to prophecy. What he's doing is that he's bringing

1215. what? Edification. Praise God. Hallelujah. So

1216. you see, that is why you have to, let me say

1217. this now, it's coming to my spirit. Your desires

1218. regarding the things of the spirit should never

1219. be cold. Your desires to see the supernatural
