Welcome to NECF sermons. Each message here is
-
designed to uplift and strengthen you in your
-
walk with God. Don't miss out. Stay with us until
-
the end for a rewarding experience. Let's dive
-
right in. So today we're going to be looking
-
at what to do after Kazatismos. what to do after
-
a cathartismus, or what to do after a believer's
-
meeting or a conference. Because the city said
-
that he sensed that there is going to be more
-
prayers coming. Praise the Lord. So if you're
-
doubting if God is amidst us, there is your confirmation
-
that truly God is amidst us. praise the lord
-
because there's going to be more prayers more
-
prayers for those who were around more prayers
-
for those who were not around to get a glimpse
-
of what they have missed praise the lord and
-
for them to also be impacted so what to do after
-
chapter 2 verse 42. Acts chapter 2 verse 42.
-
fellowship, in breaking of bread and in prayers.
-
Then fear came upon every soul, and many wonders
-
and signs were done through the apostles. Now
-
all who believed were together and had all things
-
in common, and sold their possessions and goods
-
and divided them among all, as anyone had need.
-
Verse 46 So continually daily with one accord
-
in the temple and breaking of bread from house
-
to house, they ate their food with gladness and
-
simplicity of heart, praising God and having
-
favor with all the people. And the Lord added
-
to the church daily those who were being saved.
-
Praise the Lord. What to do after Catholicism?
-
The first thing that we do after a believer's
-
conference, after... Such a time in the presence
-
of God is to continue in the doctrines that we
-
have been taught. Praise the Lord. To continue
-
in the doctrines that we have been taught. To
-
continue in the things that has been given to
-
us. Praise the Lord. The things that has been
-
taking time every day. for one hour, 40 minutes,
-
one hour, 40 minutes, two hours, all those teachings
-
to continue in them, to go back to them and to
-
look at them again and to ensure that they are
-
part of our lives. Praise the Lord. So is the
-
practice of what we see in the heart of the apostles,
-
that they continue in the apostles' doctrine.
-
They continue in it. Praise the Lord. It means
-
they were in it. They were there. Praise the
-
Lord. They were inside of it. They never stopped.
-
They steadfastly continued. They were devoted
-
to the apostoosh doctrines. They paid careful
-
attention to the things that they have been taught.
-
Praise the Lord. They cherish it. I remember
-
the last time we were looking at Matthew 28,
-
and we said that it's to keep as though what
-
you have is going to be lost. Praise the Lord.
-
To pay careful attention to the things that you
-
have been taught. They devoted themselves to
-
the apostate's doctrines. They continued in it.
-
Praise the Lord. So what did we say doctrine
-
was? For those who were around, what did we say
-
doctrine was? It was a specific teaching. Praise
-
the Lord. It's a specific teaching, right? To
-
speak in the way of teaching. To, to, to, to...
-
To give instruction. Praise the Lord. And we
-
said that doctrine is a good doctrine or the
-
doctrine is centered in Christ. Praise the Lord.
-
It is centered in Christ. So I want to find out
-
the people that can still remember the things
-
they have been given. Praise the Lord. So what
-
are the doctrines that you have been taught in
-
the Believer's Conference? Randomly, what are
-
the doctrines that you have been taught? Anybody?
-
You can raise your hand. What are the doctrines
-
that you have been taught? Yes. Laying of hands.
-
Okay. You see? Manifesting the kingdom. Okay.
-
Tongues are the instabilization, leading of the
-
Spirit. Praise the Lord. There have been doctrines
-
that you have been taught. There are things that
-
have been taken time to ensure that you learn.
-
Praise the Lord. So the Bible tells us to continue
-
in them. The things we do after the Believer's
-
Conference is to continue in the doctrines that
-
we have been taught. To pay careful attention
-
to them. To be committed to them. Praise the
-
Lord. to pay careful attention to them, to listen
-
to them again. We have these messages online.
-
We can go back and listen to it again until it
-
is a part of you. Praise the Lord. Until somebody
-
asks you, what is the doctrine of laying off
-
of hands? You will not say, let me go and get
-
my Bible. I mean, you can do that, but it is
-
something that you can explain and go further
-
in the scriptures to explain more. Praise the
-
Lord. Because it has become a part of you. That
-
is how you learn. That is what you do after a
-
believer's conference. Praise the Lord. As we
-
are praying and singing, we say that there is
-
a new level. Praise the Lord. There is a new
-
level. Revival has occurred in your life. Praise
-
the Lord. Revival has occurred in your life as
-
a result of this one week. So revival, we don't...
-
Well, maybe you're looking forward to a time
-
where people are praying and then somebody is
-
crying. Somebody is in a flow. You say truly
-
a revival have happened here. A true revival
-
is word centered. Praise the Lord. A true revival
-
is to show the believers the things they have
-
in God. Praise the Lord. And these teachings
-
that we have had and this one week that we have
-
had has shown us through the word the things
-
that the believers had. It is word -centered.
-
Praise the Lord. So a revival has happened in
-
your life. Praise the Lord. So you can put it
-
as a date. I remember I was joking with one of
-
the people in the secretariat team, and I said
-
to them that these tags that we're giving, I
-
want to keep it somewhere. And I'll put it like
-
a card. You know people that keep cards. Praise
-
the Lord. So that 10 years from now, you will
-
say, or I will say that I was there that day
-
when it happened, when revival happened, because
-
we were taught the word. Praise the Lord. And
-
how can I say, or how can I continue to say that
-
is until I continue in the doctrines that have
-
been taught, until those things become a part
-
of my life. Praise the Lord. If those things
-
do not benefit you or do not continue to benefit
-
you, then you cannot keep such things. Praise
-
the Lord. So we continue in the apostasy doctrines.
-
We continue in them. We listen to it again until
-
it has become a part of us. Why do we need to
-
continue in them? Why do we need to listen to
-
them again? 2 Timothy 3, verse 16. He said, all
-
scriptures, is given by inspiration of God and
-
is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for
-
correction, for instruction in righteousness.
-
17. That the man of God may be complete or thoroughly
-
equipped for every good work. Praise the Lord.
-
It is good that you continue in this doctrine
-
because it will equip you. Praise the Lord. It
-
will thoroughly furnish you. It will thoroughly
-
equip you for good works. There is fruit in your
-
life. Praise the Lord. That we continue, it helps
-
us to understand the Scriptures. Praise the Lord.
-
We saw how the doctrines were taught. They were
-
not just taught from one place. They were taught
-
from the entirety of the Scriptures. It helps
-
you understand the Scripture, how to read it
-
properly, or how to understand it properly, how
-
to interpret it properly. The same 2 Timothy
-
chapter 4, verse 3 to 4. 3 to 4. He said, For
-
the time will come when they will not endure
-
sound doctrine, but according to their own desires,
-
because they have eating ears, they will heap
-
up for themselves teachers, and they will turn
-
their ears away from the truth and be torn aside
-
to feebles. Praise the Lord. That you know what
-
is sound. Praise the Lord. So when you continue
-
in the doctrines that you have been taught, you
-
will know that which is sound. Praise the Lord.
-
You will know that which is sound. You will know
-
that which is sound. You will see feebles and
-
say, oh, this is not it. Praise the Lord. One
-
of the things I'm grateful to God about the church
-
is that Even back in the day when we have not
-
started teaching the things that we're teaching,
-
one of the things that I know for sure is when
-
somebody is wrongly interpreting the scripture.
-
Praise the Lord. There's not a lot of knowledge
-
about Greek or Hebrew, but I know for sure when
-
you open the Bible and you're speaking rubbish
-
or you want to make it look the way you want
-
to make it look. Praise the Lord. Because I've
-
sat in a place and I've learned what it means
-
to Interprete the scriptures. Praise the Lord.
-
So when we continue in the doctrines, when we
-
continue in the teachings that we've been given,
-
we'll know that which is not sound. Praise the
-
Lord. Because there is soundness in you. It is
-
truth that can sell what a lie is. Praise the
-
Lord. Ephesians chapter 4 verse 14. He said that
-
you should no longer be children tossed through
-
and through and carried away by every wind of
-
doctrine, by the trickiness of men, in the cunning
-
craftiness of deceitful plotting. Praise the
-
Lord. That you will not be tossed through and
-
through. Praise the Lord. That nothing will just
-
come and you start going. Oh, they said this,
-
you started running with it. Praise the Lord.
-
By every wind of doctrine. knowing little of
-
everything but no depth in it. Praise the Lord.
-
So when we continue in the apostate's doctrine,
-
when we continue in the teachings that we've
-
been given, we'll not be tossed through and through
-
by every wind of doctrine. Praise the Lord. You
-
will have a filter system that which will allow
-
you to know what is true and what is not true.
-
Romans chapter 6 verse 17. that you will know
-
the things to avoid. Romans chapter 6, verse
-
17. He said, But God bethanks that though you
-
were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart
-
the doctrines which you were delivered. Verse
-
18. I think there's a mist of a scripture there.
-
That's not what I wanted to get. So you will
-
know that which is to avoid. Praise the Lord.
-
You will know the things to avoid. Let's go back
-
to the second Acts chapter 2. You will know the
Acts 2 chapter mention
-
things to avoid. Acts chapter 2. He said, they
Acts 2 chapter mention
-
continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine
-
and in fellowship. Praise the Lord. In fellowship.
-
They continued in fellowship. They continued
-
in fellowship. The things that we do after a
-
believer's meeting is that we continue in fellowship.
-
We don't say, I've received enough. Praise the
-
Lord. Let me take a break. It's not like your
-
work. Praise the Lord. It's not like your...
-
regular walk that you go to, that you need a
-
break from. Praise the Lord. Because at this
-
most one week of the believers conference is
-
not like your walk that after it, you need a
-
vacation. He said, no, I don't need fellowship
-
for now. I fellowship enough. Praise the Lord.
-
There are no such things as enough in the things
-
of God. Praise the Lord. There are no such things
-
as enough. You don't neglect the gathering of
-
believers. You come together. You don't say you
-
need a break. You don't say you need a break.
-
You need to go away. Hebrews chapter 10, verse
-
24. You see, And let us consider one another
-
in order to stay up love and good works, not
-
forsaking the assembly of ourselves together
-
as it is the manner of some, but exalting one
-
another so much the more as you see the day approaching.
-
Praise the Lord. He said, let us consider how
-
to stay one another in love. What happens when
-
we come together is that we stay one another
-
in love. Praise the Lord. We provoke love in
-
the inside of us. We provoke good works. Praise
-
the Lord. When you see your brother ministering,
-
when you see your brother speaking in tongues,
-
giving interpretation, you're stirred up. Praise
-
the Lord. You know you can do it. You are encouraged.
-
Praise the Lord. You are encouraged. So we stick
-
together. We fellowship with one another. We
-
don't go on break after. We don't go on spiritual
-
breaks. We don't say we don't need fellowship.
-
Again, we continue in the gathering, not forsaking
-
the assembly. There are miracles and signs and
-
wonders that can only happen as a result of fellowship.
-
Praise the Lord. There are prayers that can only
-
happen as a result of fellowship. Have you prayed
-
from nine to five? Some people have. Have you
-
prayed on your own in your room? Have you done
-
that? Praise the Lord. Have you done that? Because
-
there is a stirring. Praise the Lord. There is
-
a stirring in fellowship. There is a provocation
-
to do good things. To pray more. We saw some
-
people healed here as a result of gathering.
-
As a result of meeting together. They're spiritual
-
experiences that can only happen as a result
-
of fellowship, as a result of koinia, to be together.
-
And he says, I'm breaking of bread. They were
-
sharing of food. Praise the Lord. So don't stop
-
sharing of food. Praise the Lord. Don't continue.
-
Don't stop that as well. So when you have people
-
come over your house and then you're praying
-
and you're doing spiritual things, don't send
-
them away like that. We did not send you away
-
when we finished. Praise the Lord. In the middle,
-
there was food and you ate. Praise the Lord.
-
Even yesterday where there should not be food,
-
the secretariat pushed, I don't know what they
-
did, but they pushed that food should come out.
-
Praise the Lord. So continue. breaking of bread.
-
And he also said, continue in prayers. Colossians
-
chapter 4 verse 12 that we have been reading,
-
a prophet who is one of you. Praise the Lord.
-
He said, continue in prayers. Continue in organized
-
prayers. Continue in the prayers that we had.
-
Do not trophy in, oh, I've prayed nine to five
-
yesterday. Wow. That will take me for like one
-
month. And then after one month, I will come
-
back again. No. Continue in prayers. Forget about
-
the prayers that you prayed yesterday. That prayer
-
you prayed yesterday has given you strength to
-
do much more. Praise the Lord. It has given you
-
strength to pray much more. It has given you
-
strength to pray much more. Praise the Lord.
-
Don't trophy the things that are behind you.
-
Those spiritual experiences. Praise the Lord.
-
So one of the things, again, that we see in believers'
-
gathering, or one of the things that we do after
-
a believer's gathering, is that we continue in
-
the spiritual experiences that we've had. Praise
-
the Lord. In 1 Corinthians 14, Pastor Ima was
-
teaching from there, Pastor Kostin was teaching
-
from there. We continue in prayers. We continue
-
in praying in tongues. We continue in prophecy.
-
We continue to give edification to the church.
-
We continue to edify ourselves. Maybe some of
-
us for the first time, you found that God was
-
speaking through you. My God can speak through
-
me. Praise the Lord. So continue in it. It did
-
not happen. It should not be that it happened
-
because you were just here. It should continue
-
to happen. You found out something about your
-
identity. That God can speak through you. That
-
God can speak edification through you. That somebody
-
can be blessed because of your speaking. Praise
-
the Lord. Because of your laying of hands. Somebody
-
can be blessed because of the prophecy that you
-
gave. You can defy yourself by praying. You continue
-
in those things. Praise the Lord. We continue
-
in prayers. We continue in long prayers. That's
-
one of the things that you should have learned
-
is that some of the prayers that we prayed were
-
not focused on Necessarily the things you can
-
see. Praise the Lord. How you can pray long is
-
not about your need. You only pray for five minutes.
-
Praise the Lord. Your needs are not that big.
-
You cannot pray one hour for just your need.
-
Praise the Lord. So this kind of prayers you
-
pray is God kind of prayers. That you grow, that
-
you mature. He prays for you that you may stand
-
strong. That you may continue in faith. Praise
-
the Lord. That you continue in spiritual experiences.
-
That it becomes a part of you. It becomes part
-
of your growth. It becomes part of the things
-
that you do. Is he listening to us? Are you listening
-
to us? Okay. You continue in spiritual experience.
-
You continue to practice the things of the Spirit.
-
In John 10, verse 4, it says that my sheep, they
-
know my voice. They know my voice. You found
-
out that you know the voice of God. In the midst
-
of the chaos, in the midst of everybody shouting,
-
in the midst of everybody praying, you found
-
out you can hear. That this is what God is saying
-
in the inside of you and you say it to somebody
-
and you found that that is true. Praise the Lord.
-
You continue in those things. It should give
-
you the strength and the motivation to continue.
-
Oh, if I can hear when everybody is shouting,
-
what happens when I sit on my own? Praise the
-
Lord. If I can hear the voice of God when everybody
-
is shouting, what happens when I'm just sitting
-
by myself? I know His voice. I understand His
-
language. We continue in these things. You found
-
strength in weakness. You found out the comfort
-
of the Spirit. You found out that man is God's
-
method and plan on the earth. Praise the Lord.
-
You bring yourself to that alignment. You continue
-
in that light. You bring yourself to that alignment.
-
Oh, so this is God's plan. So I am God's plan
-
and method on the earth. God is not using angels.
-
He's not going to preach by angels. He's not
-
going to say angels go to that place. It is you
-
that he says you are his plan on the earth. You
-
are his method on the earth. You continue, you
-
key yourself to that goal of God. So you continue
-
in the apostate doctrines and the spiritual experiences
-
that you have gotten in this week. And I said,
-
this is the revival that has come to you. Praise
-
the Lord. My God can speak through me. Praise
-
the Lord. This is a revival that we have gotten
-
this week, that my God can speak through me.
-
I know the doctrines of God. I know the mind
-
of God. I know that God's method is me. Revival
-
has come to you. Praise the Lord. Revival has
-
come to you. There is a new dimension. I found
-
out a new dimension. We found out a new dimension.
-
That we are God's plan on the earth. Praise the
-
Lord. We are the one that carries His message.
-
We're the one that carries his message. So another
-
thing that we do after Catholicism is that we
-
stay in the church. The church is God's stability
-
for your life. Praise the Lord. We stay in the
-
church. Pastor Fred told us from Matthew 16,
-
he says that salvation is a person. That person
-
is a person of Christ. Praise the Lord. That
-
the church is God's assembly. Right? The church
-
is God's assembly. It is a kingdom of Christ.
-
He said it is upon the resurrection that the
-
church was formed. Praise the Lord. And this
-
is our identity, that we are the church. of God.
-
Praise the Lord. We are the church of God. We
-
are the church of God. So one of the things that
-
God has helped us or has given us is the local
-
church. Praise the Lord. This gathering, the
-
meetings that we have, the local church. It is
-
God's structure for our life. Praise the Lord.
-
It is God's structure for our spiritual growth.
-
It is God's structure for our spiritual growth.
-
If you notice from the epistle, you will discover
-
that it was written to churches. Praise the Lord.
-
It was not written to the body of Christ. It
-
was written to churches. To the church in Corinth.
-
Praise the Lord. To the people of Corinth. It
-
was written to churches. The church is God's
-
structure for us, for our spiritual growth, for
-
our life. So we must know how to function in
-
the local church. We must know how to behave
-
or we must know how to align in a local church.
-
I think we're going to continue this much more.
-
So if we know that God's... a plan for us is
-
the local church or his plan for spiritual growth
-
is the local church, then it therefore means
-
that we have to listen to the instructions and
-
the direction of the people that God has set
-
in charge of his church. Praise the Lord. We
-
have to listen to the direction and instruction
-
of the things that they are saying. If they are
-
saying that we're going to teach this. this topic
-
for the rest of the month. That's what we are
-
doing. So it means that that is God's plan for
-
your growth. God is saying that you're going
-
to grow by understanding the gospel in Genesis.
-
This is God's plan for this season. So you have
-
to key into it. Praise the Lord. You have to
-
key into these things. You have to key into the
-
things that they are saying. So we must also
-
note those who speak very bad things about the
-
church. Praise the Lord. The church is not perfect.
-
The local church, right? So we must also note
-
those who speak so many bad things about the
-
church. Because this is God's plan for your spiritual
-
growth. Praise the Lord. It is God's plan for
-
your spiritual growth. It is still God's plan.
-
It is what God intends or how God intends that
-
you grow. Praise the Lord. That's how we intend
-
that you grow. That's why we encourage you to
-
come to church. Because we know that in your
-
house, there is no structure. Praise the Lord.
-
You have no structure to organize a meeting by
-
yourself, for yourself, for three hours. Praise
-
the Lord. You cannot worship alone. You cannot
-
pray alone. Praise the Lord. You cannot grow
-
alone. You cannot preach to yourself alone. So
-
we encourage you to come to church because it
-
is God's plan for you. It is how God has made
-
it that you should grow. The gathering of believers.
-
Praise the Lord. The gathering of believers.
-
There must not be people who are divided by,
-
who have divided commitment. God has said, this
-
is my plan for you. This local church is my plan
-
for you. But you're everywhere online. You're
-
listening to that person. You're listening to
-
that person. You're listening to that person.
-
You're going to have confusion. Your life is
-
going to be confused. You're going to have questions
-
that you cannot answer. Praise the Lord. God's
-
plan for you is a local church. Praise the Lord.
-
God's plan for you is a local church. This is
-
his plan for your growth. Your growth, you cannot
-
grow at once. Praise the Lord. You cannot become
-
30 years old in one day. It has to take steps.
-
It has to take a lot of nutrition, a lot of taking
-
care of yourself, a lot of things, a lot of people
-
around you for you to grow. Praise the Lord.
-
So you cannot grow at once. So when God is saying
-
to you through your local church that your plan
-
for growth is the Bible in Genesis or the gospel
-
in Genesis, if you have plans or thinking about
-
the anointing, wait first. Praise the Lord. That's
-
why Pastor Vito always encourages us. He says
-
you should wait. We'll have that teaching. Praise
-
the Lord. But for now, the plan is for you to
-
learn the gospel in Genesis. When you finish
-
that one and it's a part of you, then we can
-
go to what the anointing is. Praise the Lord.
-
So this is how we continue in Catartismus. This
-
is how we continue in Catartismus. So I'm going
-
to stop now and we're going to pray. Praise the
-
Lord. We're going to pray. We're going to edify
-
one another. We're going to lay hands on one
-
another. We're going to do impartation for those
-
who are not here. Praise the Lord. Who are not
-
in the cataclysmos. Right? And we'll continue
-
as well on Wednesday. So we learned that the
-
doctrine from Hebrews chapter 6, the doctrine
Hebrews 6 chapter mention
-
of laying of hands. And we were taught that laying
-
of hands is spiritual. Praise the Lord. We were
-
taught that laying of hands is spiritual. It
-
is not a physical thing. When Joseph was laying
-
hands, he was touching people every day. Praise
-
the Lord. He was, I'm sure he was touching people's
-
head every day because he's elderly. And part
-
of the things, some cultures, you need to bend
-
down and they probably need to touch your head
-
or touch your shoulders. Praise the Lord. In
-
those touching, he was not impacting anything
-
to them. Praise the Lord. But when he decided
-
that he wanted to impact something, he impacted
-
something to them. Praise the Lord. The laying
-
of hands is spiritual. It is not just physical.
-
It's how we exercise our dominion. These are
-
the things that we learned. Praise the Lord.
-
It's how we cause things to happen. Praise the
-
Lord. It's how the Holy Ghost is administered.
-
So let's just rise on our feet and just begin
-
to pray. Just begin to pray. We also learned
-
in 1 Corinthians chapter 14 that talks about
1 Corinthians 14 chapter mention
-
speaking in tongues. That he that speaks in tongues,
-
edifies himself. He that speaks in tongues and
-
interprets edifies the church. He that prophesies
-
edifies the church. Praise the Lord. So we want
-
to speak in tongues now and we want to edify
-
ourselves. We want to edify the church and we
-
want to lay hands. Praise the Lord. So let's
-
