The Gifts of the Spirit pt 10: The Gift of Prophecy

right in. You must have faith that as I pray,

I'm not praying for the answers to come, but

I'm praying so that the answers can be seen in

the natural. Hallelujah. Because all of God's

promises for the believer are yea and what? And

amen. They have been fulfilled. They have been

settled. Hallelujah. So what we do in the place

of prayer is that that which we know has been

fulfilled in Christ, we make it visible in the

natural. Praise God. You see, when you have knowledge,

as you take the place of prayer, you are praying,

you are praying, you don't quit. Because you

know that that which has been made available,

you need it or you need to insist that you will

see it where? In the natural. Sir, when I pray,

I feel weak. When I pray, I feel tired. No, no,

no, no, no, no, no. Don't pray by your feeling.

Pray by God's word. Hallelujah. Don't pray by

your feeling. Don't pray by your body. Pray by

what? By God's word. Why? Because we are making

tremendous power what? Available. So there is

something we want to see. And we know that via

prayers these things will be. Hallelujah. Praise

God. Hallelujah. First Corinthians, Acts chapter

Acts 1:14

1, verse 14. He said, these all continue with

one accord in prayer and what? Supplication with

the women and Mary, the mother of Jesus. And

with what? With his brethren. Acts chapter 2.

Acts 2 · chapter mention

And when the day of Pentecost was fully come,

they were all with, verse 1, with one accord

in one place. They were what? They were praying.

Amen. Making tremendous power available. And

then the Holy Ghost was released. Amen. Then

Acts chapter 3. Acts chapter 3. You can see verse

1. Now Peter and John went up together into the

temple at the hour of what? At the hour of prayer.

Acts chapter 4. Acts chapter 4. Verse 24 or 23.

And being let go, they went to their own company

and reported all that the chief priests and elders

had done. What? Said unto them, what is the next

verse? And when they had that, they did what?

They raised their voice saying what? To God with

one accord in prayers. They didn't go out to

protest. They didn't go out to complain. They

didn't mount roadblocks. They did what? They

raised their voice with what? Loud voice in the

place of prayer. So whatever the believer wants

to see to change, he changes it in the place

of what? In the place of prayer. 29. And now,

Lord, behold their threatening, the content of

their prayer, and grant unto thy servants that

with all boldness they may speak thy word by

stretching forth thy hand and to heal, and that

signs and wonders may be done by the name of

thy word. Holy child, the content of their prayers

was not anything to resist them. The content

of their prayers was the will of God. The same

thing that they were facing persecution on is

the same thing they were praying for. We want

to do it more. So the believer ought not to be

praying anything that the will of God. Hallelujah.

Now, Acts chapter 6. Acts chapter 6. Verse 4.

But we will give ourselves what? Continually

and what? To the ministry of what? Of the word.

Verse 8. Verse 7. And the word of God did what?

Increase and the number of disciples did what?

Multiply. Hallelujah. Because they gave themselves

to the ministry of what? Of prayers. Praise God.

Hallelujah. And we will keep reading. We will

keep reading all through. You will see in Acts

Acts 12 · chapter mention

chapter 12. You will see in verse 7. Acts chapter

Acts 12:7

12 verse 7. Or verse 5. Sorry. Peter therefore

was kept in the prison but complained and murmuring

was made without ceasing by the church. What

was made? Constant prayer was made without ceasing

of the church unto God. For who? For Him. And

we saw or we see subsequent verses and what?

An angel's minister. They were praying in the

house and tremendous power is made available

and something is happening in the prison. Hallelujah.

Acts chapter 13 is the product of prayer. They

fasted. They ministered to God. Verse 2. As they

ministered to the Lord and fasted, The Holy Ghost

did what? Saved. So in prayer, we are receiving

instructions. Hallelujah. In prayer, we make

power available. We receive instructions. We

receive direction. We receive Jesus in the place

of prayer. He asks that the Lord be able to what?

Strengthen him. The scripture says, and angels

minister unto him. Hallelujah. Mark chapter 11.

Can we open to Mark chapter 11? So please, when

Mark 11 · chapter mention

we say pray, Let there be faith and see. When

we say pray, with the eyes of faith, see what

must change. And as you're praying, don't pray

as though the thing you're... No, no, no, no,

no, no. See it is already done. Hallelujah. See

it is already what? It's already done. The need

is done. I was talking with somebody here in

this church, no name withhold, you know. And

I told the brother, I said, in all the plans

that you're planning, pray more about it. Don't

just plan just like that. Amen. Take time. And

what? Soak the thing in prayer. Pray, pray, pray.

Pray more about a matter than you plan about

it. You hear what I said? Pray more about a what?

A matter than you what? Than you plan for it.

This is the position of the believer. Hallelujah.

Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. So, we're

going to make tremendous power available in a

short time again. Amen? There is no gift of prayer.

In all the places we are reading in 1 Corinthians

12, there is no place called what? Gift of prayer.

Mark 11 verse 22. And Jesus answering said unto

Mark 11:22

them, Have faith in who? In God. For verily I

say unto you, that whosoever shall say to this,

what? Be thou removed and be thou cast into what?

And shall not what? That in his heart, but shall

do what? Shall believe that those things which

he what? Said shall do what? Shall come to pass,

he shall have whatsoever he what? He said, therefore

I say unto you, N .E .C .F., whatsoever things

ever he desire, when you pray, believe that you

have what? Receive them and it's what? And it's

yours. Hallelujah. There's a version that says,

and it's yours. Faith in the place of prayer.

But you see, 22 says, have faith in who? So the

source of our faith is God. We could read lots

of scriptures. Make power available. Don't lock

up yourself inside the bathroom and be crying.

Don't lock up yourself inside your room and be

playing songs and cry and cry. Go out and take

cold water and come back. You can shed tears,

oh. You can cry, oh. But ensure you do what?

Pray. Take advantage of prayers. Conrad says

something. He said, through prayers, whatever

that we want to see, we what? We make it visible.

Praise God. Say this evening. Say this evening.

Raise your hand and say this evening. This evening,

I give myself to the things of the Spirit. I'm

going to pray and I'll receive direction. I'll

receive instructions and my life will never remain

the same. Hallelujah. Before we start, let me

say this lastly. Please ensure that every time

you take prayers, be fervent about it. Amen.

Let your mind be there. Let your attention be

there. Let everything about you be there. Don't

pray mindlessly. Amen. Hallelujah. Put, you see,

in Acts that we read in Acts chapter 12, put

the thing before you. Amen? This is Pastor Victor

now. I say, Pastor Victor, I want to pray for

you. Will I be praying for the door? How will

I do? I put Pastor Victor in my mind. Lord, increase,

increase. Work of ministry, flourish, flourish

in the life of Pastor Victor. Let there be sighs

and wonders much more, much more. You see, as

my eyes are closed. But Pastor Victor is before

me in my heart. As I pray more, it's his picture

that I see. As I pray more, it's his picture

that I see. As I pray, it's... I begin to see

with the eyes of faith, signs, wonders, miracles

are being written through his hands. I begin

to stand more in the place of prayer. I see Jesus.

Taking him from one crusade to another, I see

blind eyes open, dead are raised, deaf ears are

hearing, lame are walking, all via what? Prayers.

I put him before me. So the next time you are

praying about anything, put the thing away. Before

you see, if you can put it before you, all your

energies will be directed at it. Hallelujah.

Praise God. Hallelujah. Are we ready for the

word? Let's sit. Let's sit. Let's quickly run

this. Glory to God. Glory to God. Hallelujah.

Hallelujah. Hallelujah. So be consistent. Set

up a time of prayers. Amen. Set up a time of

what? Please, I beg you, any CF, one of the mark

that shows that you're learning and you're following

the trainings and then the teachings that are

happening to you. Set up a time of what? Of prayer

to do what? To pray. Philippians chapter 6. Is

it chapter 4 now? Verse 6. He say, do not be

anxious for what? For nothing. Hallelujah. But

by prayer and what? And supplication. Praise

God. Hallelujah. Prayer and supplication. 1 Thessalonians

1 Thessalonians 5 · chapter mention

chapter 5 where we always read. Say rejoice always.

Pray without ceasing. Luke chapter 18 verse 1.

Luke 18:1

Men ought to always. Pray and not what? And not

faint. Hallelujah. We can go on and on and on,

scriptures upon scriptures about what? About

prayers. Praise God. Hallelujah. Amen. Yes, so

let's quickly continue from where we stopped.

Glory to God. Glory to God. Thank you, Holy Spirit.

So, gift of prophecy. Gift of prophecy, amen?

So we stopped at prophetio, which means it implies

to speak forth by what? By the Spirit, to speak

forth by inspiration from the Spirit, amen? And

we say it is usually at the spur of what? of

the moment hallelujah it's not something that

you have planned you know like the way other

people will do in africa they arrange a prophecy

session you know know the name check the facebook

trail your tracks and then know a lot of things

about you and then when you apply suddenly say

do i know you have we met before do i know you

i see as i'm here the angel is taking me to atakaka

street i see a black gate i see number 15 you

know and then you see the guy that is arranged

the thing with you go And then somebody with

mic, somebody say, prophesy, major, major, forensic

prophecy, Papa. No. With the Holy Ghost, it's

at the what? Spore of the moment. At the moment

now. Hallelujah. Say, I receive prophecy at the

spore of the moment. Praise God. Can you turn

to your right and left and say, I'm going to

receive a prophetic word for you now. Yes. Hallelujah.

Some people did not just believe what they just

said. Even after all the things we say, I receive

a prophetic word for you now. And by the end

of the service, you will know that truly I have

the gift of prophecy. Hallelujah. Yes. And we're

going to do it. Amen. So, we read Joel chapter

Joel 2:28

2 verse 28. We said, and it shall come to pass

afterward that what? I will pour out of my spirit

upon all flesh. Joel chapter 2 verse 28. However,

Joel 2:28

we read Acts chapter 2, right? If you check your

Acts 2 · chapter mention

notes, Acts chapter 2. But this is that which

Acts 2 · chapter mention

was spoken by what? By prophet Joel 17. And it

shall come to pass in the what? Last day said

what? Said God. Acts chapter 2 verse 16. Upon

Acts 2:16

all flesh and your sons and daughters shall do

what? And we said that prophecy, definition of

prophecy is what? The Greek word for prophecy.

From the root word, good. So, we said that now,

what Peter was saying is that there is a man

named Prophet Joel. Amen? And Prophet Joel spoke

from God. You know, we said in the definition

that he's speaking by inspiration from a source,

right? But for the believer from the Holy Ghost,

amen? So Peter knew or Peter knows who prophet

Joel is. However, he has not met him in the flesh

or in the natural, right? But he has read through

the scriptures, amen? And he could be able to

say this event that is happening is a fulfillment

of what prophet Joel had prophesied. But at this

time, Peter will say prophet Joel and God said

it through who? through prophet joel but now

when we read prophet joel let's go to joel 228

we won't see as it were that god was speaking

say prophet joel this is my word you know but

it was looking as though that day if you met

prophet joel you will just meet him and he will

be saying you know and in the last days right

i will pour out of my spirit upon all flesh you

know and it will look come on what is he saying

amen hallelujah so now let's go to joel chapter

Joel 2:28

2 verse 28 Joel 2 .28 And it shall come to pass

afterwards that what? Let's read it everybody.

And it shall come to pass what? That I will You

know if you are there to look as though Joel

is saying out of him. He is the one that will

pour it right? But we see Peter now is saying

that God was the one doing what? Speaking. So

where was prophet Joel speaking from? From who?

From inspiration from who? inspiration of God,

right? Praise God. And he says that what? Upon

our flesh, your sons and daughters shall prophesy,

your old men shall dream dreams, your young men

shall do what? Shall see visions. And we see

Peter now, will say in Acts chapter 2 now, after

Acts 2 · chapter mention

many years, right? That these things you see

happening, right? Prophet Joel spoke about it.

And God was the one that spoke about such an

event that will happen. However, Right? When

we are going to deal with the prophetic, we're

going to come to this scripture. Because you

will understand that this same scripture was

also fulfilled that time. Praise God. Hallelujah.

That this scripture was what? Was fulfilled upon

the children of Israelites as of that time too.

So, when we say the prophecy or prophetic word,

we are not saying that the prophets spoke something,

right? And then God was waiting for ages, ages,

ages, ages, ages, oh. Wait, when will this one

happen? No, no, no, no, no. You see, even when

they were speaking about the scriptures about

Christ, you see, we're going to read it now.

Let's read so that you'll see what I'm saying.

So we establish, right, that prophecy, prophetia,

prophetio, to prophesy, right? In the Hebrew

word, prophecy is naba, N -A -B -A. Write it,

naba. The same explanation, to speak by inspiration.

or to speak forth to another. Naba, N -A -B -A.

N -A -B -A. Naba means to speak by inspiration

or to speak forth to another. To speak by inspiration

or to speak forth to what? To another. So when

you go in the Hebrew language, you're going to

see, probably you check some of your concordance,

you're going to see, That word prophesy is almost

about 114 to 115 times depending on the version

that you're using. So it was used for the prophets

of God. Hallelujah. 85 % of those 114 to 115

times was used for what? For the prophets of

God. Let me put it this way. The servants of

God. I have a reason why I'm saying the servants

of God. Amen. Because I want to connect it to

something. So then we just have few, about 10

% of it for non -prophets of God. So Luke 24,

25 now, so that you see what I'm saying now in

context. Luke 24, everybody let's go there. Luke

Luke 24:25

24, verse 25. That the prophets have what? Have

spoken. Amen. 26 now. Ought not Christ to have

what? Suffered these things and to do what? And

to enter into his what? Into his glory. Amen.

27. And beginning at prophet Moses and all the

prophets, he expounded unto them in how many

scriptures? All the scriptures, the things concerning

who? concerning himself. Hallelujah. So we see

that the focus of the prophets, amen, they prophesied

the things concerning who? Concerning Christ.

Hallelujah. They didn't prophesy. So God or Jesus

will come to go back to all their prophecies

and then be able to teach the disciples or the

apostles as it were, right? And then be able

to bring to their understanding all the things

that the prophets have spoken concerning who?

Concerning himself. Concerning the redemptive

walk. However, They were not speaking at that

time as though they were unsure about what will

happen. Praise God. Even though they were speaking

and Jesus didn't happen in their time. Amen.

But they know or they knew that this thing truly

is what? It has already been concluded. So how

do we know? When we now read Hebrews chapter

11. We are not going to read but write it down.

Hebrews chapter 11 and then the first few verses

Hebrews 11 · chapter mention

of chapter 12. We will now be able to see that

these men were not only speaking under the inspiration

of God, but they were also speaking and also

looking forward to it happening in their time.

Praise God. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Are we all

here? So the prophets were prophesying concerning

God's promise of commitment. God's promise of

what? Commitments regarding what he is fulfilling

or what he will do in Christ. So they were not

just prophesying anyhow. No, those 85 % that

we say the prophets or the servants of God were

prophesying about God's commitments. Hallelujah.

What he has already fulfilled and what he is

already doing in who? In Christ Jesus. Amen.

Please stay with me as we are moving. Romans

Romans 1:11

chapter 1 verse 11 now. So the prophets were

speaking concerning who? Concerning who? Concerning

Christ. Amen. Romans chapter 1 verse 1. Let's

Romans 1:1

quickly do a fast word study about the prophets

now speaking. Romans chapter 1 verse 1. Paul,

Romans 1:1

a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle,

separated unto the gospel of God, which he had

promised what? A fourth time by his prophets

in the holy scriptures. Concerning who? What

has he promised? Concerning his son, Jesus Christ,

who? Our Lord, which was made the seed, made

of the seed of David, according to the flesh,

and declared to be the son of God with what?

Power, according to the spirit of holiness, by

the resurrection of what? From the dead. Hallelujah.

So what were they prophesying? They were prophesying

things concerning Jesus Christ. They were prophesying

things that Jesus will be made the seed of David

according to what? According to the flesh. Amen.

They were prophesying and then declaring that

Jesus is the son of God with what? With power.

They were prophesying, right? Regarding the resurrection

of Jesus from where? From the dead. Praise God.

Hallelujah. You know, if you were in their time,

you would say, are you sure this thing will happen?

Praise God. I just said something now to someone

now. In the little time that we have, when you

receive a word of prophecy, right? Whether it's

an instruction, whether it's a direction, whether

it's a comfort, don't be, your first response

should not be a doubt. You hear what I said?

Your first response should not be a what? Your

first response is that receive it first by faith.

Hallelujah. One, receive it by thanksgiving.

I'm just saying another thing now. Add it to

my notes now. That when you receive a prophetic

word, your first response should not be a doubt.

Your first response should be what? You receive

it with faith and then you receive it with thanksgiving.

You see, these things I just said now already

cancel the effect of familiarity. Do you know

a wife can prophesy to her husband and if the

husband is not actually taught and trained, he

will say, ah, ah. Sweetness, you have started.

You have come again. You, you know, you know

that how things have been. Now you are already

saying all these, your big, big things. You see?

The big, big things will happen. And we pray,

not me, oh. Not this sweetness, oh. Another sweetness

somewhere. Amen? Because me, I'm part of the

big, big things that will happen. Hallelujah.

And that already happening. Amen? Praise God.

Yes. So your first response should not be a what?

You say, oh, Prince, are you sure? This thing

you are saying. You know, some people, they even

go to the extent, they say, I think somebody

gossiped my story to this person. That's why

he's saying this thing. You know, there is no

how you will know this thing. And then immediately

your mind starts doing one plus, one plus, two

plus, three plus. They say, ah, he's close to

Pastor Victor. Ah. Pastor Victor told him about

me. You see this church? That's why I don't like

this church. Somebody's story cannot be private.

Good news. With the Holy Ghost, there's nothing

about you that is private. Hallelujah. Once you

need a help and direction, and God will be glorified

in your life, He will respond to your needs.

Hallelujah. Praise God. Hallelujah. Amen. So

the prophets prophesied concerning Christ, right?

Romans 16, 25. Romans 16, verse 25. Now to him

Romans 16:25

that is of power to establish you according to

my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ,

according to the revelation of the mystery, which

was kept secret since the world, what? Began.

26. But now is no more secret. Hallelujah. But

now is no more what? Secret. Why? Because it's

made what? Manifest. And by the scriptures of

the prophets, according to the commandment of

the everlasting God, made known to how many nations?

To all nations for the obedience of what? Of

faith. So the revealing of Jesus prophesied by

the prophets is not for one man, it's for how

many nations? For all nations. No wonder in Matthew

28, Mark chapter 16, he will still tell them,

go ye into how many nations? All nations because...

Christ was not manifested for few. Christ was

made manifest for how many nations? For all nations.

So the prophets were not prophesying for a few.

The prophets were prophesying for how many nations?

For all nations. They were prophesying about

God's commitment and his promise, what he is

doing for all nations. That he is reconciling

all nations back to himself. Hallelujah. That

all nations carry his spirit. That is what is

happening. And let me say it now, in a way, that

till today, that is still happening. Amen? You

see, and Jesus in Matthew chapter 9, and Jesus,

Matthew 9 · chapter mention

after he has moved from city to city, to synagogue

to synagogue, and then he came and he turned,

and then he saw the people, they were fainted.

They were like sheep without what? Shefat. After

he has healed, he has taught and preached from

synagogue to synagogue, and then he turned to

them. And he said, truly, the harvest is what?

Plentious, but the laborers are what? Few. Pray

ye to the Lord of the harvest that he may what?

Send forth laborers into his world. Hallelujah.

Say I'm a laborer. I'm a laborer. I'm a laborer.

I'm a laborer in God's harvest. And it's happening

through me. Hallelujah. Praise God. 1 Peter 1

.10. 1 Peter 1 .10. I hope we know the context

of all that we are reading, right? All that the

prophets have what? Prophesied. Amen. 1 Peter

1 .10 Of which salvation the prophets have what?

Inquire and say diligently, Who prophesied of

what? Of the grace that shall what? That shall

come to you, such in what manner, what manner

of time, the Spirit of Christ which was in them.

We have already treated this in the cell meeting.

Right? And also in the church here. Right? Because

at this time, now the Spirit was not indwelling

them. Right? The Spirit was what? Was upon them.

Praise God. And if you have followed that, the

time we are taking is under concerning spirituals.

Right? And we say that the Spirit upon is for

task. Right? For work, for assignment. Praise

God. So in the Old Testament as it were, the

Holy Ghost will come upon them for what? For

a function. Praise God. Hallelujah. Does this

place look like Luke 24? Does it look like Luke

24? Praise God. Hallelujah. You see, the people

that are following are able to respond. People

that are following Luke 24. What did we go in

there? What, what, what? What did we? Okay, and

they are already going to Luke 24. Praise God.

Okay, let's go to Luke 24 so that some people

can be with us. Luke 24. Let's go to Luke 24,

Luke 24:25

verse 25. So that's, hold your hand in 1 Peter,

hold it, and then go to Luke 24. 26. Ought not

Christ to have what? Suffered these things and

to enter into his what? Into his glory. 1 Peter

1 Peter 1 · chapter mention

chapter 1 now. Go to 1 Peter chapter 1 verse

1 Peter 1:11

11. the sufferings of, and the glory that should.

Does it align? Prophets speaking. Amen? Praise

God. Hallelujah. Hebrews chapter 1 verse 1. Hebrews

Hebrews 1:1 Hebrews 1:1

chapter 1 verse 1. God who at sundry times and

in diverse manners spake in time past, unto who?

The fathers by how? By the prophets. See verse

2 now, everybody. Had in these last days, right,

spoken unto us by his what? By his son, whom

he hath appointed here of all things, by whom

also he made what? He made the world. Hallelujah.

Praise God. So you see, that in the Old or in

the Scriptures, what we see happening regarding

prophecy or prophesy, that God will prophesy

through His servants called the who? The prophets.

Amen? Praise God. They are called the servants

of God because they walk hand in hand with God.

How? By the Spirit of God. So they receive inspiration

by the Spirit of God and they speak forth for

God. Amen? But what are they speaking forth?

They are speaking the things concerning who?

concerning Christ. Hallelujah. But do you know

today, we are the servants of God and we also

what? Prophesy. Hallelujah. Why and how? Because

we have the Spirit of God indwelling in us. So

if you are writing, write it too. Write it this

way in your note. That I am, I am a servant of

God and I prophesy because I have the Spirit

of God indwelling in me. I am a servant of God.

And I prophesy because I have the Spirit of God

dwelling in me or indwelling me. So every believer

has the ability to prophesy. Hallelujah. Every

believer, not one believer, not two believers,

not three believers, all scriptures concerning

Christ, we see prophesying. Hallelujah. All believers

that have received Christ, amen, They have the

Spirit of God indwelling them. All of us. Also

what? Prophesy. We can prophesy. We are prophesying.

In fact, let me take it now to extreme. We must

prophesy. Praise God. Hallelujah. Somebody just

said in his heart, Sir, do you mean I can prophesy?

Your answer, yes. Sir, how do you know I can

prophesy? Because you have the Spirit of God.

Where? dwelling in you. Praise God. Are we all

here? Is it clear everybody? Is it clear everybody?

So all of us can prophesy because what? We have

all the gifts of the Holy Ghost where? Indwelling,

indwelling us. So now, Acts chapter 2 verse 16.

Acts 2:16

Let's go back there. Don't get tired because

we are going scriptures. Please don't forget

we are talking about the gifts of what? The gifts

of prophecy. It's important that we establish

this that every believer can prophesy. Why? Because

we have the gifts of the Holy Ghost. Amen? Yes,

we can prophesy. 16. But this is that which was

spoken by what? By the prophet. Joel, and it

shall come to pass in the last days, said God,

I will pour out of my what? Of my spirit, right?

Upon all flesh and your sons and your, this is

how I always say, right? Right, with the Holy

Ghost, right? Nobody escapes it. Praise God.

With the Holy Ghost, nobody what? Escapes it.

Praise God. Every one of us can prophesy. Praise

God. It's upon the sons, it's upon the daughters,

it's upon the young men, it's upon the young

women, it's upon the maidservants, it's upon

the handmaidens. Hallelujah. Everyone, 18, I

say, I will pour out in those days of my spirit

and they shall all what? Prophesy. Praise God.

So you see, the gift of prophecy is not left

for major one. Or major three. I don't know how

you came by or how they came by by giving those

is looking up to major. Right? But if you are

here, let me say this now to you. Probably, I

will say it so that we can laugh. You are a major

prophet. Nobody should deceive you. You are what?

You are a major prophet. You know, I attended

a church before I came to the island. This is

like 11 years, 12 years ago. And then the man

was moving out. He was doing this. TV was showing

everywhere. You know, actually, I accompanied

my mom to the place. You know, our mothers, I

don't know, for whatever reason, they like all

these places. So I said, no, no, no, I'm not

going. I said, you people, what do you know about

Christ? You just entered university, went to

NYC and came back. And they said, okay, Momsi,

we'll call her Momsi. I said, Momsi, let's go.

Let me accompany you there. You know, I was outside

because we came late, so there's overflow. So

we are overflowed by the dog. But you know, as

the man was coming out, I knew in my spirit he

was going to call me. So I was seated at the

end, like the way Queen was seated, that way.

There's nobody. You know, he came out this way.

I said, The guy at the end, there's nobody I

had to turn and look at the... He said, no, no,

I mean you, you, you, you, you. And you know,

his church is on TV. It's on satellite. So my

brother came back from church. They were now

playing his station. They now saw that. They

came at that time where the thing was on me.

I now stood up. He said, no, rise, rise, rise.

nothing? We, these children, we think we know.

what? You know. Nobody should use you and shine.

are going to save you from moving from one native

doctor's house to another, trying to know who

knows your name, who knows whether you should

I was making an emphasis that every believer

can what? Can prophesy. So prophecy or prophesying

is not exclusive. It's not an exclusive gift

for a few people. The Holy Ghost is not an exclusive

gift for few people. So also the things of the

Holy Ghost or the gifts of the Holy Ghost is

not exclusive for only what? Few people. So you

can write it. Prophecy or prophesying is not

an exclusive gift. For what? For a few people.

go and call your name. You will kneel down and

be rolling on ground. So prophecy or prophesying

is not what? It's not exclusive for what? for

few people. It's for everyone, every believer.

seeing. 1 Corinthians 14 verse 5. Every believer,

1 Corinthians 14:5

every believer, the gifts of the Holy Ghost is

not exclusive for a what? For a few people. It's

for how many believers? Every believer. Why every

believer? Because every believer has the Spirit

of God. Amen? Why I say prophecy is for every

believer is because every believer has what?

The spirit of what? The spirit of God. And if

every believer has the spirit of God, it means

every believer has the gifts of the spirit of

who? The spirit of God. Do we understand? Okay,

praise God. 1 Corinthians 14 verse 5. If it's

1 Corinthians 14:5

your Bible, please walk with me and then be on

the line in it. Verse 5. I will that few of you

spoke in tongues. Is that what your scripture

say? How many of you? Please be on the line in

the word all. I would that ye all speak with

what? Tongues. But rather that ye all do what?

Prophesy. For greater is he that prophesied than

he that speaketh with what? With tongues, except

he interprets, and that the church may receive

what? A defying. And during the Karatis Mosque,

we said that he wasn't saying that prophecy is

greater than what? Than tongues. Hallelujah.

So what he was bringing to the church of the

Corinthians is that when I prophesy, I bring

benefits more to the church. Amen? And the same

way I will bring benefit through prophecy, that

is how when I give tongues and what? Interpretation,

such benefits also what? Comes to the church.

And he calls that benefit edification, edifying.

And we checked, if you remember in Catechismos,

If all do what? Prophesy. And there come in one

that believeth not all. One unlearned. He is

convinced of how many? Of all. He is what? He

is judge of all. 25. And thus are the secrets

of his heart made what? Manifest. And so, falling

down on his face, he will do what? Worship God

and report that God is where? Is in you of what?

Of a truth. Right? Because in the charismos we

learned that tongues and interpretation of tongues

is equal to what? Prophecy. And every time we

prophesy, we are bringing God's mind, right?

Or we are bringing instructions that the mind

can be able to what? Understand. So, when we

gather and then an unbeliever come in among us,

that's what the verse is saying, and then a prophecy

is given, so which means his mind can also what?

can understand. So certain things about him are

being spoken of from God. Amen? And the end of

what will happen to him, he will fall down on

his face and do what? And worship God and report

that God is in you of a what? Of a truth. We're

Because that verse is not saying some of you

have psalm, some of you have doctrine, some of

you have tongue, some of you have revelation,

some of you have interpretation. No. That scripture

is saying that every one of you had a psalm.

So all of us sitting here, we have a psalm, we

have a what? We have a doctrine, we have a tongue,

we have a revelation, we have what? Interpretation

of what? And let all things be done unto what?

Edifying. Does this place look like verse 5 where

we came from? That when we prophesy, we edify

the church? That when we give tongues and interpretation

of tongues, we edify the church? Okay. Praise

God. Hallelujah. Amen. So, why are all these

things happening? Because all the diversities

of the gifts of the Holy Ghost are resident in

the believer. Praise God. The work of the Holy

Ghost is in and through the believer. In fact,

if you are writing this, I'll write it. The work

and the function of the Holy Ghost is in and

through me. The work of the Holy Spirit is in

and what? And through me. So the Holy Ghost is

working in me. And the Holy Ghost is working

what? Is working through me. The Holy Ghost is

giving a psalm in me. The Holy Ghost is giving

a psalm through me. The Holy Ghost is giving

a prophecy in me. The Holy Ghost is prophesying

through me. The Holy Ghost is giving interpretation

in me. The Holy Ghost is giving interpretation

through me. The Holy Ghost is bringing edification

in me. The Holy Ghost is edifying through me.

verse 4 now, 1 Corinthians 14 verse 4. See now,

why we said that now. 1 Corinthians 14 verse

4. Is everybody there? Can we read it this way?

Let me show us how to read it. For when I speak

in an unknown tongue, I edify myself. But when

I prophesy, I edify NECF. Can we read it that

way? Can we read it that way, everybody? Can

we read it that way? 1, 2, go. Verse 4. When

I speak in tongues, yes, I edify myself. But

when I prophesy, I do what? I don't put you on.

I edify NECF. You remember in Charismos what

we have learned regarding tongues, right? That

when the believer is having a tongue. Let's go

to verse 1, everybody. Verse 2. For he that speaketh

in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto what?

Not unto humanity. Hallelujah. You remember from

our teaching, right? But he speaketh unto what?

Unto God. How be it for no man do what? Understand.

What is it that the man does not understand?

Humanity does not understand the tongue. Amen.

Hallelujah. But now he said that, how be it in

the spirit, he's speaking what? Mysteries. Mysterion.

Amen. So in the teaching, we've learned that

what the believer is having with God, the believer

is having an elevated discussion. He's having

an audience with who? With God. Praise God. He's

having an audience with God. So when humanity

is around him, they cannot be able to do what?

Understand what he's saying until he interprets

what he's saying. However, verse 4 now, let's

tie it to verse 4. Verse 4, that verse 4 say

what? What is he doing? Another word for edifying.

He is building himself. Why? Because he has audience

with God and not with humanity. There's a discussion

that is happening between him and God and not

with humanity. He is building himself. But now

where he prophesies? Suddenly now, everybody

will go glory. Why? The mind is no more unfruitful

again. Hallelujah. The understanding is fruitful

because that which was spoken between the man

and God, now understanding is brought and everybody

can be able to what? Be edified. So when we shout

glory. It's because our understanding now has

received that which has been conversed between

the man and God. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Must

every Christian speak in tongues? Must every

Christian speak in tongues? Thank you. Praise

God. 14 .6 now. See 14 .6. Now, brethren, if

I come unto you speaking with tongues, what shall

I what? What shall I profit you? So what did

I say, man of God? Did I profit you? That's what

Paul was saying. That if I come to you in tongues,

what shall I what? Profite you. Except I do what?

Speak to you either by what? Revelation or by

knowledge or by prophesying or by what? Or by

doctrine. Hallelujah. For I perceive in my spirit

that the Lord is saying, Oh, I'm strengthening

you. I'm bringing more strength to you. I'm taking

your feet beyond your imagination. There are

certain desires. There are certain expectations

regarding the places you want to step your feet

upon. I'm taking you there. Believe me. Believe

me. I'm holding your right hand. I make things

possible. All those things that you see that

look like big and you're asking, when shall these

things be? When shall these things happen? I

am making them happen speedily. Glory to God.

You see, now he's understanding. He's profited.

There is fruitfulness that has come to him now.

And then now faith is stirred up. Faith is stirred

up. Faith is stirred up. You know, in between.

And then suddenly, there's a faith that is stirring.

Maybe he came here doubting. Maybe he came here

asking questions. Suddenly now the Holy Ghost

is bringing answers. The Holy Ghost is bringing

comfort. The Holy Ghost. Why? Verse 6. That is

why Paul said, Except I speak with what? I come

to you by what? revelation. Next is what? By

knowledge or by what? Or by what? Have you noticed

revelation, knowledge, prophesying, doctrine,

writing, all of them brings, let me put it this

way, it's not in my notebook, but let me put

it this way, brings fruitfulness to the understanding

of the receiver. Are we all here? Are we all

here? Revelation, knowledge, prophesying, doctrine,

all of them bring fruitfulness to the understanding

of what? Of the receiver. You see, that is why

there was a heavy emphasis in the Karatismos

that do not just only speak in tongues, but speak

in tongues and words. But now, speak in tongues

and words. Praise God. And in the Charismos,

we said revelation. Revelation is the word apocalypsis,

which implies disclosure, uncover. Revelation.

Please, you can write it very fast. Let's go.

Revelation is the word apocalypsis, which implies

disclosure. uncover, to lay open. Can you see

why it brings fruitfulness to the understanding,

right? Because now the information, the instruction

is open. Revelation is the word apokalipsis.

A -P -O -K -A -L -Y -P -S -I -S A -P -O -K -A

-L -Y -P -S -I -S Apokalipsis, which implies

disclosure. to uncover, to lay open what has

been veiled, to lay open what has been veiled,

to make manifests, hallelujah, what has been

hidden. Praise God. So the understanding is fruitful.

Knowledge is the word gnosis, G -N -O -S -I -S.

G -N -O -S -R -S, which implies insight or experiential

knowledge of facts, places, people, events, time.

It implies insight or experiential knowledge

of people, right? Information about people, places,

events, time. So you see, when that kind of information

comes to you, your understanding can take it,

right? It's not going to be strange to your mind.

Are we all here? Doctrine. Doctrine implies instruction.

Just write instruction. Are we all here? Are

we all here? Then prophesying. We've handled

prophesying. Praise God. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.

Hallelujah. Hallelujah. So we see, from all that

we are learning, is that what? Prophecy is for

how many believers? For all believers. Hallelujah.

And let me just write this now. It's not here,

but let me just, as it's coming to my head, write

it now. Prophecy is for all believers. Prophecy

is for all believers. and to make all receivers

fruitful. Prophecy is for all believers and to

make all receivers fruitful. So we see that prophecy

as it were is turns an interpretation of what?

An interpretation So an interpretation of tongues.

So when we see the prophecy or when we see prophecy

in operation, what we are seeing directly is

tongues and what? Interpretation of tongues.

So probably in the next few minutes, when we

say turn to your right and to your left and prophesy,

and somebody goes and then give a tongue and

then interpret it and tell you what he's receiving,

he's already prophesying to you. Amen. And somebody

may not do tongues and interpretation of tongues.

He will just go directly and speak to you. You

see, it's not always that when we say, can you

give him a word? You have to go. How about if

you're inside the bus and everybody is there?

Will you start that kind of drama? No, no, no,

no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. You have gifts

and interpretation of tongues in you. And you

also have what? The gift of what? Prophecy. Sir,

can I give tongues and interpret it? Yes. Can

I also prophesy? Yes. All of them are what? The

same thing. Why? Because your mind or the understanding

what? Is profited. So it's not always that. My

son, my son. My son, my son. You know we have

heard all those things in all those crusades

that we're having? You see the lady will roll,

roll, roll, roll. Say, leave her, leave her.

The Spirit of God is upon her. The Spirit of

God shall roll. Yes, he's speaking now. He's

speaking. He's speaking. And then the next thing

you hear is that Jesus is coming soon. Repent.

Repent. Say, everybody quiet. The Spirit of the

Lord is speaking. He's speaking. He's speaking.

Everybody. Write it. The Spirit of the Lord does

not need to do drama before he brings forth the

mind of God to us. When we come to the prophetic,

you understand that we can tap you from sleep

and say prophesy and you prophesy without brushing

your teeth. The Spirit of the Lord, this is what

I said, the Spirit of the Lord does not need

to do drama. before he brings forth the mind

of God to his church. In fact, let me say this

now. Oftentimes when we see that kind of drama,

we term it as a demonic manifestation. Get out

of here in Jesus' name. I'm telling you, most

times you see demons. Once you give that instruction,

you will see the person will start rolling more,

rolling more, rolling more. Pastor Vito knows

what we will do. We will always carry church

people out of the church. Then I will go take

you to the back. One of these days, we are treating

this because we are going to start all these

things. We will just say, Polo, Polo, you and

Dr. Mayowa, please, can you just go deal with

number one. When prophecy comes, for what? Edification?

Let's read together, oh. And exhortation? And

what? Come for next verse. He that speaketh what?

In an unknown tongue, he defied himself, but

he that prophesied what? He defied what? The

church. Previous verse, so that we can see it

now because I want to say something. Thank you.

He that prophesied, speaketh what? Unto men.

Why? So that what? Men can be what? So when you

are receiving prophecy in the next minute, don't

take my time, please. Don't take it. Who is controlling

the time? Don't take it, please. Just two minutes.

Don't take it. Because we'll do something, please.

So, which means that when I prophesy, men, receiver,

the people that are receiving now, to your left

and right, right? You're going to bring what?

Edification, exhortation, and what? And comfort.

Let me say something now. Sorry. So if you check

that place, right? You see, it tells us edification

and exhortation and comfort. Edification is a

compound word for exhortation and what? And comfort.

Edification, what? It's an encompassing word.

For what? For exhortation and comfort. So the

word comfort, write this fast, please. We're

going to do something now. Very soon, we're going

to stand up and then do something very fast.

The word comfort, it implies to provide help.

To provide what? Help. It's not that comfort

that, you know, something has happened, yes,

to somebody, pity. You say, hey, take heart,

you know. Something, no, you know, just be, there's

another second chance. No, no, no, no, no, no,

no. If you check the original word, it's not

pity. You're not coming to pity. He said, hey,

my sister, queen. Ah, the spirit of God has pity

on you. And God is saying, receive my love. Receive

it. Ah, ah. The word comfort, to provide what?

To provide help, exhortation. And the word exhortation

means to stand by someone. To stand by someone.

So which means the information that is being

spoken via prophecy, it gives help. When we say

help, it gives guidance. Amen? It gives guidance.

It gives direction. It gives encouragement to

the believer. So the word spoken via prophecy,

it gives what? Guidance, right? It gives what?

It gives direction. And it gives what? Encouragement

to who? To the believer. So the believer now

has counsel. He has direction. Why? He has received

what? Did you see fear in that place? Did you

see anxiety in that place? Did you see worry

in that place? Did you see anything like, oh,

my life is finished in that place? Good. Even

though we're going to treat it now when we're

talking about the prophetic in detail, when we're

talking about judging prophecies or how to judge

prophecy. No prophecy will come to bring fear

to you. When prophecies come and they bring fear

to you, they are not from Jesus. I hope you heard

what I'm saying. When prophecies come and they

bring fear to you, they are not from who? When

prophecies come and they bring anxiety to you,

they are not from the Holy Ghost. When prophecy

come and they put so much worry and burden in

your heart, they are not what? They are not from

the Holy Ghost. Prophetic words or prophetic

sayings will bring comfort. They will bring what?

Exhortation. Hallelujah. They will bring guidance.

They will bring help to you. You will realize

that God has not left you. Hallelujah. You will

realize that God is standing with you and God

is where? And God is in you. I just told us now

how to judge prophecies. Amen. So when somebody

now, because we are rising to our feet now, rise

to your feet. When somebody gives now a word

of prophecy to you and then suddenly now you

are beginning to see, don't worry, when we come

to... the prophetic, we're going to learn how

to be able, let me say it this way, how to be

able to say what you are receiving from your

spirit, right? To your receiver, to edify him.

Hallelujah. So we need to be taught. We need

to be what? We need to be taught. You know, somebody

will just receive a word in his heart and then

to warn a brother and tell him that, you know,

God is saying, let me put it this way. Maybe

the person has prayed as we pray. We're going

to pray now. Clearly, he received a prophetic

word that this person is living in outright iniquity.

In fact, he just came from one of the clubs along

Alakoi Road. And then he just come. He say, I'm

not going to anybody, so I'm just going there.

After they held their hand, you just say, God

said, let me warn you. If you don't receive,

if you don't stop what you're doing, soon time

will catch up with you. Jesus will never do that.

Praise God. So we need to be taught how to what?

How to communicate that which we are what? Which

we are receiving. Let me say it now. We have

learned one now. When you receive a thing and

the instruction you are receiving is a warning.

Right? God say, I must tell you that you should

not be stupid. No. Amen. One of the ways. Are

you receiving instruction from the Holy Ghost?

Yes. Do you have a mind? Yes. Do you have an

understanding? Yes. But it is in your responsibility

to ensure that what you are receiving is converted

to edification. That my brother is what? Is edified.

So I will come and say, the spirit of the Lord

is saying, right? The Lord says he loves you.

And he's saying that, remember, he gave his son

for you. And he's saying that the life that he

has given for you is a precious blood. And he's

saying that, turn away. Don't stay so much on

that path because he has been calling you. He

has been speaking to your heart. You see, as

you are speaking to him, instead of feeling condemned,

already something is happening within his mind.

Amen? As he's receiving it, a light is shining.

A light is shining. A light is shining. And suddenly

from nowhere, he starts crying. And then you

have not asked him why is he crying or she is

crying. But you know, after everything, you just

drag the person aside and then you say, ah. The

idea of the gifts of the Holy Ghost is that they

make ministry. Right? The work of ministry, Jesus

is not only seen, Jesus is not only glorified,

but souls are saved. Souls are not to be condemned.

Hallelujah. So you don't come using the gifts

of the Holy Ghost to condemn. You come using

the gifts of the Holy Ghost to do what? To save.

So we are going to prophesy now in the next five

minutes. That's why you're laughing. You know

you're going to prophesy? You don't know that

you're going to prophesy? Or you will prophesy?

Okay. The way you laugh, like me? Can't we pray
