  1. Welcome to NECF Sermons. Each message here is

  2. designed to uplift and strengthen you in your

  3. walk with God. Don't miss out. Stay with us until

  4. the end for a rewarding experience. Let's dive

  5. right in. Hallelujah. 1 Thessalonians 2, verse

    1 Thessalonians 2:12

  6. 12. Fortunately or unfortunately, I don't have

  7. a screen here. And my neck is very stiff that

  8. it can't be turning. So I want to get a mic and

  9. be reading the screen. All right? So it will

  10. be fast. 1 Thessalonians 2, verse 3. No, no,

    1 Thessalonians 2:3

  11. chapter 2, verse 12, where we read. It says that

  12. you... will walk worthy of God who calls you

  13. into his kingdom, into his own kingdom and glory.

  14. Hallelujah. God has called us into what? Into

  15. his own kingdom. The Bible says that he has translated

  16. us from what? From what? From the kingdom of

  17. what? Darkness. With which we were in the kingdom

  18. of darkness. And he has translated us into what?

  19. Into the kingdom of what? His dear son. Hallelujah.

  20. Which is the kingdom of God. Amen. And this has

  21. been our subject of focus this year. Manifesting

  22. the kingdom of God. And I'm going to continue

  23. from the series we've been having in Catholicism

  24. about manifesting the kingdom of God. And our

  25. key text, who can remind us of our key text from

  26. Catholicism? Huh? We forgot Matthew 16? What?

  27. Matthew what? 16. Okay. From verse 13. So let's

  28. read together. Matthew 16. From verse 13 to 19.

  29. He asked Nthai Kupe, who to make thee that I,

  30. that I, sort of, that I. So they said, so take

  31. John Devati, so Meliah, and honest Kirinoya,

  32. or what do you put me? Take then, for who do

  33. you say that I am? I won't be to our side and

  34. stay, though I'm in Christ, the so -called inimigo.

  35. You don't have to say that to me. Bless the game,

  36. Spangun Patila. Bless you, Nthai Kupe. Hallelujah.

  37. So, previously we've discussed a lot of issues

  38. from verse 13. We've looked at verse 13. We've

  39. looked at the context of the scripture from verse

  40. 13. And then we've seen the question that Jesus

  41. asked them. And we've also dwelled on the answer

  42. that was given by Peter. And we also discussed

  43. what it means to be blessed in verse 17. And

  44. we also learn, in case you have not been with

  45. us, you can go back to our teaching in Catholicism.

  46. We looked at what it means to receive revelation,

  47. what it means to be revealed the truth. And we

  48. also discussed the rock in verse 18. You know,

  49. the rock on which Christ is building his church.

  50. And then the gates of Hades shall not prevail

  51. against it. So we're going to begin to look at

  52. some issues from verse 19. It says, And I will

  53. give you the keys of kingdom of heaven. And whatever

  54. you bind on earth will be bound in heaven. And

  55. whatever you lose on earth will be loosed in

  56. heaven. And for us to just have a recap of some

  57. of the things that we've been discussing. Right

  58. from the cell meetings, we talked about heaven,

  59. right? I think this year we started with the

  60. concept of heaven, trying to understand what

  61. heaven is. Now in verse 17, not in verse 17,

  62. he says, my father, who what? Who is in heaven?

  63. Jesus answered and said to him in verse 17, blessed

  64. are you, Simon Barjona, for flesh and blood has

  65. not revealed this to you, but my father, Who

  66. is where? Who is in heaven? Which means that

  67. this father that brought about the revelation

  68. of who Christ is, lives where? He is in heaven.

  69. My father who is in heaven. Matthew chapter 6

    Matthew 6:9

  70. verse 9. Matthew chapter 6 verse 9. Matthew chapter

    Matthew 6:9 Matthew 6:9

  71. 6 verse 9. Just want to remind ourselves, have

  72. a recap of what this heaven is. Matthew chapter

    Matthew 6:9

  73. 6 verse 9. In this manner, therefore pray, our

  74. Father in where? In heaven. Hallelujah. Hallowed

  75. be your name. Which means that God dwells where?

  76. God dwells in heaven. The Father dwells in heaven.

  77. My Father, in verse 17, what he says, our Father,

  78. Matthew 6, verse 9, refers to God. Who the Bible

    Matthew 6:9

  79. tells us is what? This Father is what? He's invisible.

  80. Okay? God is what? God is invisible, but he lives

  81. in heaven. God is invisible, but he lives in

  82. heaven. John chapter 1 verse 18 talks about the

    John 1:18

  83. God that is invisible. John chapter 1 verse 18.

    John 1:18

  84. No one has seen God, right? No one has seen God

  85. face to face, physically. But Jesus declared

  86. him less. John 4, verse 24. Yes. God is spirit.

    John 4:24

  87. So if we will have a relationship with this God

  88. who is spirit, who is invisible, what will happen?

  89. We must worship him in what? In spirit. Hallelujah.

  90. Colossians 1 verse 15. Colossians 1 verse 15.

    Colossians 1:15 Colossians 1:15

  91. Colossians 1 verse 15. Talking about Jesus being

    Colossians 1:15

  92. the what? Being the image of the Father who is

  93. invisible. Invisibility here means that we can't

  94. see with the physical eyes. Doesn't mean that

  95. he does not exist. He exists, but he's not visible

  96. to the natural eyes. He lives in the invisible

  97. realm. 1 Timothy 1 verse 17. 1 Timothy 1 verse

    1 Timothy 1:17 1 Timothy 1:17

  98. 17. Yes. Invisible one. Talking about God. God

  99. is invisible. So from the text we read above

  100. or here, we'll just read. It says we can understand

  101. that God lives in heaven. Amen. It says my father

  102. who is in heaven. We can put it as my father

  103. who is invisible, God who is invisible. Now the

  104. word invisible we've learned from church here

  105. several times does not nearly mean, you know,

  106. it does not exist. Hallelujah. It's not merely

  107. the unseen or out of sight, but the word invisible

  108. here means spiritual. Amen? It doesn't just mean

  109. that he's unseen with the physical eyes, but

  110. what it means on the other end is that God's

  111. word is spiritual. Hallelujah. It reflects the

  112. idea that God is spiritual. Now, it is important

  113. to remind us again, That the word heaven does

  114. not refer to what? It does not refer to a geographical

  115. location. We've said this before, isn't it? Now,

  116. when we talk about heaven, we're not referring

  117. to a physical place. Because oftentimes when

  118. we are taught about the idea of heaven, what

  119. we quickly think is a physical place where the

  120. roads are tasked with gold. Where there are fiscal

  121. structures and mansions, everybody has a house

  122. and apartments. Where we have cars. Where we

  123. have, you know, material things. No. This heaven

  124. is immaterial. It's not referring to what? A

  125. geographical location. Because God's kingdom

  126. or God's heaven or where God lives is not like

  127. It's not like the way the world, it's not the

  128. kingdom of God. It's not like the way the world

  129. describes. It's not like the way the world perceive

  130. a kingdom. Hallelujah. So, in verse 19, what

  131. does the word kingdom mean? What does the word

  132. kingdom mean? That's what we're going to focus

  133. and dig more. Now, the word kingdom, we explained

  134. previously as well that the word kingdom refers

  135. to It's from a Greek word. What? Basilia, right?

  136. A noun, Basilia, in Greek, which means dominion.

  137. It means royal power or rule. And we say that

  138. this should not be confused with an actual kingdom.

  139. Because the moment we talk about kingdom, what

  140. comes to our mind is maybe a kingdom, the United

  141. Kingdom, a fiscal kingdom, or maybe a kingdom

  142. in your country, in Nigeria, a kingdom. It shouldn't

  143. be confused with a fiscal kingdom. But rather,

  144. the right of authority to rule. That's what we

  145. call kingdom. The right of authority to rule.

  146. And we also said that Basilia is from the root

  147. word, what? Basilius, right? Which means a leader

  148. of people. A prince, a commander, a lord of the

  149. land, or a king. So the phrase, and I will give

  150. you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, can be

  151. put as, and I will give you the keys of the dominion

  152. of heaven, or, and I will give you the keys of

  153. the authority of heaven. Hallelujah. Now, it

  154. is important for us to note that the word keys

  155. here, It's used as a metaphor for what? For access.

  156. This is a revision for us. It's used as a metaphor

  157. for what? For access. Keys is from the Greek

  158. word kles, K -L -E -I -S in the Greek, which

  159. metaphorically can also be referred to as power

  160. or authority. Since the keeper of the keys has

  161. the power or the authority to open or shut. So

  162. metaphorically, the word keys refers to power

  163. and authority. Hallelujah. So kles, which is

  164. a noun, we said also that it is derived from

  165. another root word, kleo, k -l -e -i -o, a verb,

  166. meaning to close, to shut or to shut up. Now,

  167. with the understanding we've garnered from this

  168. explanation of the word, we've seen the kingdom

  169. of heaven will be referred to as the authority

  170. of heaven and not just a physical place. Hallelujah.

  171. Now, if you can remember very well, what I just

  172. did now, right, is also read from what we did

  173. in cell meeting. the first cell meeting of the

  174. year or second cell meeting there about of the

  175. year. Now let's study further on the kingdom

  176. of heaven. My goal is for us to understand deeper

  177. what the kingdom of heaven is. For us to have

  178. a better understanding of what the kingdom of

  179. heaven is. And with the understanding that we

  180. will have about the kingdom of heaven, we will

  181. be able to manifest the kingdom of heaven. Hallelujah.

  182. Now, Let's go again to one of the scriptures

  183. we've been dealing with in the cell meeting,

  184. Matthew 24. Please, I want you to be attentive

  185. and follow what we are going to do. It's going

  186. to be a bit rigorous, but it will help us so

  187. much in the few times that we're going to have

  188. in the weeks coming ahead. Matthew 24. Matthew

  189. 24, from verse 1 to 3. If you've been very active

  190. in the cell meeting, you should be familiar with

  191. this text. You should be able to teach this text

  192. and explain it because we'll spend over a month

  193. here, right? Matthew 24 from verse 1 to 3. Then

  194. Jesus went out and departed from the temple and

  195. his disciples came up to show him the buildings

  196. of the temple. And Jesus said to them, Do you

  197. not see all these things? Assuredly, I say to

  198. you, not one stone shall be left here upon another

  199. that shall not be thrown down. Verse 3. Now as

  200. he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples

  201. came to him privately saying, Tell us, when will

  202. these things be? Which things? Is it the destruction

  203. of the temple? I was thinking it's the end of

  204. the world. I was thinking it's rapture. When

  205. will these things be? How do we come to a conclusion

  206. that is concerning the temple? Because of the

  207. conversation in context, right? Very good. When

  208. will these things be? Tell us, when will these

  209. things be? And what? What will be the sign of

  210. your coming? Is this not rapture? Is this not

  211. the end of the world? What will be the sign of

  212. your coming and of the end of the world? All

  213. kingdoms, instead of the word age, it is world.

  214. Hallelujah. Now, pay attention to what we're

  215. going to do. The KJV uses the word end of the

  216. world or end of the age. As we have always learned,

  217. words in the Bible must be defined within the

  218. context of their application in the scriptures.

  219. For us to give meaning to sentences, to phrases,

  220. we don't impute meaning to words. But rather

  221. we look at context, right? And then we can arrive

  222. at the meaning of that word or phrase or sentence.

  223. So this means we should always consider context.

  224. of scripture to explain or give meaning to words

  225. or phrases from scripture. We don't just assume

  226. the meaning of words. You see, many of our misapplication

  227. of scriptures is because we give the scriptures

  228. its own meaning. We don't allow the passage to

  229. explain itself. We don't allow, you know, the

  230. Bible to give us a meaning because Within the

  231. context of the usage of that word or phrase,

  232. we'll have the meaning of that text, of that

  233. word, of that text or that phrase, whatever it

  234. is. So the end of the world in verse 3, which

  235. is where I'm going to focus on. In the second

  236. meeting, we'll be dealing with the coming, right?

  237. And also, which one again? These things, we've

  238. been dealing with the first part of the question.

  239. When will these things be? We've dealt with it.

  240. And then the second one is what? The coming,

  241. right? Now, let me steal from what we will do

  242. ahead and then explain the idea about the kingdom

  243. of heaven. Now, the end of the world is very

  244. important in explaining the kingdom of heaven.

  245. Are we together? It says the end of the world.

  246. The end of the world. When? When will this be?

  247. And when will be the sign of your coming? and

  248. of the end of the world. End of the H in the

  249. New King James. Now, the end of the world in

  250. verse 3 does not refer to the world being terminated

  251. or destroyed because most times when we read

  252. this text, we conclude that this text is talking

  253. about the destruction of the world, when the

  254. world will be destroyed. As it is in our own

  255. language today, when we hear the word end, what

  256. quickly comes to our mind is what? Maybe a termination

  257. of a process, right? Or the world is going to

  258. finish. Let me use that word. It's going to finish.

  259. If it's something that can finish anyway. So

  260. the word N, as used in Matthew 24, verse 3, is

    Matthew 24:3

  261. translated from a Greek word. Let me spell it

  262. for you. It's the word suntelia. S -Y -N -T -E

  263. -L. Let me spell it again. S -Y -N -T -E -L -E

  264. -I -A. What does it mean? It means completion.

  265. It means consummation. It also means the fullness

  266. of time. Okay? It means completion. It means

  267. consummation. It means the fullness of time.

  268. So the term world as used in this text, because

  269. we're going to look at the end of the world,

  270. the end of the age, the end of the world, right?

  271. So the term world here is used to describe time

  272. and activities, especially activities on the

  273. earth. Time and activities on the earth. Hallelujah.

  274. That is why the New King James uses ages instead

  275. of world as used in the Old King James, it uses

  276. ages instead of world. For example, 1 Corinthians

    1 Corinthians 10:10

  277. 10 verse 10. 1 Corinthians 10 verse 10. 1 Corinthians.

    1 Corinthians 10:10

  278. Help me so we can save time. 1 Corinthians 10.

  279. Verse 10. Yes. 11. Okay. Look at verse 11. He

  280. said, now all these things happened to them as

  281. examples, and they were written for our admonition,

  282. right? For our encouragement, for our admonition,

  283. upon whom the end of the age has come, which

  284. means that the end of the world, if you read

  285. from the Old King James, that's what the age

  286. is here, replaced with the world. The end of

  287. the world has come, which means that in our time,

  288. what has happened? The end of the world, what?

  289. It's happening. Oh, it has come. Amen? So are

  290. we in the end of the world? Huh? Are we looking

  291. forward to the end of the world? Okay. Say no,

  292. say yes. Hold that thought. We'll unravel it.

  293. Paul says they were written for us upon whom

  294. the end of the ages has come, meaning unto those

  295. who are living in the fulfillment. All right?

  296. In the fulfillment of this reality. Now, read

  297. the same passage. There's a translation I saw.

  298. The Berean Standard Bible, BSB. Can I get that?

  299. Who is on the screen? There's a translation called

  300. the Berean Standard Bible, BSB. This same text.

  301. Berean Standard Bible. Someone should help me

  302. with the phone. Yes, you can read it. Yes. On

  303. whom what? The fulfillment. So they removed the

  304. word end and replaced it with what? Fulfillment,

  305. right? Fulfillment of the ages has come. Alright?

  306. Read it in TPT. TPT did a little bit of justice,

  307. Pastor Victor, to this verse. We can say thumbs

  308. up for TPT. Yes. Yes, you see? For we live in

  309. a time. What is that time? The end of the world.

  310. For we live in a time when the purpose of all

  311. ages past is now completed, completing its goal

  312. within us. Hallelujah. So it's completing its

  313. purpose within us. Here's another example in

  314. Hebrews chapter 9 verse 24. Hebrews chapter 9

    Hebrews 9:24 Hebrews 9:24

  315. verse 24. Hebrews 9 verse 24. What are we trying

    Hebrews 9:24

  316. to explain? We're trying to explain what the

  317. end of the world means. Okay? It's very important

  318. in helping us understand the kingdom of heaven

  319. so we can manifest the kingdom of heaven. Hebrews

  320. 9, Hebrews 9, verse 24 to 26. Hebrews 9. No one

    Hebrews 9:24–26

  321. is helping me to read, okay. To 26. 26. Okay,

  322. see, when did Jesus appear? Huh? Jesus appeared

  323. when? No, now, look at this verse. There's no

  324. 2000 here. Okay, look at verse 26. Am I fast?

  325. Okay, let's look at verse 26. He then will have

  326. had to suffer often since the foundation of the

  327. world. If it's your Bible, underline foundation

  328. of the world. So now there are two things I want

  329. us to emphasize. If there is an end of the world,

  330. there should be a foundation of the world. Are

  331. we together? He then would have had to suffer

  332. often since the foundation of the world. But

  333. now, once at the end of the world, he had appeared

  334. to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

  335. So Jesus put away sin by the sacrifice of himself

  336. when? The end of the world. End of ages. Jesus

  337. put away sin at the end of the world. And as

  338. I said, another phrase for us to note, often

  339. used by Jesus and other writers of scripture,

  340. is that word foundation of the world. So we have

  341. two crucial words. Number one, the foundation

  342. of the world and also what? The end of the world.

  343. So have we all understand what the end of the

  344. world is? It means fulfillment, right? It means

  345. fulfillment. that it means accomplishment. Alright?

  346. So, the foundation of the world, what does it

  347. mean? Matthew 13, 34. Matthew 13, verse... Yes.

  348. Continue to verse 35. Hallelujah. Things were

  349. kept secret from where? From the foundation of

  350. the world. Hallelujah. Things were kept secret

  351. from where? From the foundation of the world.

  352. Matthew 25, 34. Matthew 25, 34. He says, Then

  353. the king will say to those on his right hand,

  354. Come. You blessed of my father. Inherit what?

  355. The kingdom prepared. On the land prepared. If

  356. it's your Bible, on the land prepared. Prepared

  357. for you from when? From the foundation of the

  358. world. The kingdom was prepared from the foundation

  359. of the world. John chapter 17 verse 24. He was

    John 17:24

  360. loved before the foundation of the world. Luke

  361. 11, 48 to 51. So what is the foundation of the

  362. world? Jesus was loved before the foundation

  363. of the world. Jesus was not loved in the foundation

  364. of the world, but before the foundation of the

  365. world. So you can be asking, what is the foundation

  366. of the world? Luke 11, 48. Luke 11, 48 to 51.

  367. Luke 11, 48. To fifty one. Fifty. 51. Hallelujah.

  368. So with these texts, right, where were the prophets

  369. killed? Foundation of the world, right? Are we

  370. moving together? blood of the prophets was shed

  371. from the foundation of this world, which refers

  372. to a period between Genesis and where? And Malachi.

  373. And we can say including the time of John the

  374. Baptist too, right? Because he lived in that

  375. era. So we can call that era the foundation of

  376. what? Of the world. And Matthew 13, 34, is referring

  377. to a text in the Old Testament, what we call

  378. the Old Testament, Psalm 78 verse 2. Psalm 78

    Psalms 78:2 Psalms 78:2

  379. verse 2. Yes, I will open my mouth in a parable

  380. and utter dark sayings of old, dark sayings of

  381. old. The word old is translated from the Hebrew

  382. word qedem, q -e -d -e -m, q -e -d -e -m. And

  383. it means Before now, it means at first or at

  384. the beginning. So, the foundation of the world

  385. will refer to a place in the Bible. Alright?

  386. It will refer to a place in the Bible. It will

  387. refer to a part of Scripture. Okay? Let's move

  388. on. I've given us a clue, but let's move on.

  389. Hebrews chapter 4, from verse 1. To give us clarity,

    Hebrews 4 chapter mention

  390. Hebrews chapter 4, from verse 1. 1 to 4. Let

    Hebrews 4 chapter mention

  391. me read this one. Hebrews 4, from verse 1 to

  392. 4. It says, The gospel was preached to us as

  393. well as to them, but the word which they heard

  394. did not profit them, not being mixed with faith

  395. in those who heard it. For we who have believed

  396. do enter that rest, as he has said. So I swore

  397. in my wrath they shall not enter my rest, although

  398. the works were finished from where? From the

  399. foundation of the world. For he has spoken in

  400. a certain place of the seventh day. And God rested

  401. on the seventh day from all his works. Hallelujah.

  402. So, we can see clearly that the Hebrew writer

  403. is explaining. Where is he explaining? He's explaining

  404. Genesis chapter 2. Alright. He's explaining Genesis.

Genesis 2 chapter mention Genesis 2 chapter mention

  405. Chapter 2. So can we go to Genesis chapter 2?

    Genesis 2 chapter mention

  406. We have a goal. And I want you to be patient

  407. and follow. Now Genesis chapter 2. It says, Hallelujah.

    Genesis 2 chapter mention

  408. So we can see here clearly that the writer of

  409. Hebrews is explaining Genesis 2, verse 1 to 3,

    Genesis 2:1–3

  410. as the foundation of the world. Okay? And we

  411. also saw from Luke 11, 49 to 51, That Jesus mentions

  412. the characters in the foundation of the world.

  413. The prophets, they were killed. Where were they

  414. killed? They were killed in the era of the foundation

  415. of the world. Therefore, the foundation of the

  416. world mentioned in both Hebrews and the one we've

  417. seen in Luke refers to the book of Genesis. Okay?

  418. It refers to the book of Genesis, pointing to

  419. the book of Genesis. Where God's work began.

  420. Amen? It is pointing to what? To what we call

  421. the Old Testament Scriptures, where the work

  422. of God began. So, foundation refers to the beginning

  423. of the work, as seen in Genesis, where God began

  424. a work. Hallelujah. God began a work in Genesis.

  425. God began a work in Genesis. The word foundation,

  426. as we see in the New Testament, Hebrews 11, 11,

  427. precisely. Hebrews 11, 11. Let's explain that

  428. word foundation. Yes. I read, By faith Sarah

  429. herself also received strength to conceive seed,

  430. and she bore a child when she was past the age

  431. because she judged him faithful who had promised.

  432. So the word foundation is the word katabole.

  433. I'm not Greek, so pardon me. Let me spell it,

  434. K -A -T -A -B -O -L -E, noun. It refers to conceive,

  435. conception. It is used for conception. As we

  436. see in the case of Sarah here, it says strength

  437. to conceive seed. That conception there is the

  438. word foundation. So it's not foundation as foundation

  439. that women use on their faces. All right? It

  440. can mean conception. Okay? It means to start

  441. something or conception. We've seen it can, it

  442. will mean to two things. Number one, starting

  443. something, starting a work. And it also means

  444. conception. As we can see used in Hebrews 11

    Hebrews 11:11

  445. verse 11. Now, this word foundation is used primarily

  446. in building construction of a house. All right?

  447. It's used primarily for what? For building construction

  448. of a house. Now, in building a house, the foundation

  449. gives you what? What does the foundation give

  450. you? It gives you an idea of what you want to

  451. build. Isn't it? The foundation gives you the

  452. structure of what will be built. It provides

  453. the destination of what you're going to build.

  454. It provides the purpose. It gives you the plan

  455. of what is going to be established, isn't it?

  456. The foundation of a house gives us the intent

  457. of the kind of house that is going to be established,

  458. is going to be built. So Jesus, while on the

  459. cross, said, it is finished. He says it is finished.

  460. And while he was raised from the dead, he began

  461. his teaching from the foundation. Now we're trying

  462. to link the foundation to what? To the end of

  463. the world. Hallelujah. Jesus began his explanation,

  464. began his teaching from where? From the foundation,

  465. from the conception, from the idea, when the

  466. idea started, from when God began the work. Luke

  467. 24, 25 to 27. Luke 24, 25 to 27. Yes. Beginning

  468. at Moses. Hallelujah. And all the prophets beginning

  469. at Genesis. Beginning from where? From the foundation.

  470. Beginning from where the idea was conceived.

  471. Okay? And the prophets. He expounded to them

  472. in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.

  473. Now, let's jump to verse 44. He said to them,

  474. these are the words which I spoke to you while

  475. I was still with you. All things must be what?

  476. Must be fulfilled. So what was fulfilled? What

  477. was fulfilled was what was established from the

  478. foundation. And we see Jesus coming to establish

  479. what was. initiated from the beginning. Hallelujah.

  480. So these things are the words I spoke to you

  481. while I was still with you, that all things must

  482. be fulfilled, which were written in the law of

  483. Moses and the prophets and the Psalms concerning

  484. me. Verse 45. And he opened their understanding

  485. that they might comprehend the scriptures. Hallelujah.

  486. So all the writers of the Gospels, Matthew, Mark,

  487. Luke, and John, you know, they began their writing

  488. from this foundation. Have you noticed that?

  489. For example, now in Matthew chapter 1 verse 1,

    Matthew 1:1

  490. let's look at Matthew chapter 1 verse 1. This

    Matthew 1:1

  491. information is crucial for us, so bear in mind.

  492. Okay. Matthew chapter 1 verse 1. It says the

    Matthew 1:1

  493. book of what? The genealogy of Jesus Christ.

  494. The son of David and of Abraham. Where are these

  495. characters found? Huh? They are found where?

  496. In the writings of Moses, right? That is what

  497. we call the foundation. So that is where they

  498. began the writings of what Jesus will do. That's

  499. where they trace the origin of what Jesus will

  500. do or what Jesus has done. Mark chapter 1 verse

    Mark 1:1

  501. 1 also in his writing started from that particular

  502. beginning. What we call the beginning. Mark chapter

    Mark 1:1

  503. 1 verse 1. Mark chapter 1 verse 1. Yes. The beginning

    Mark 1:1

  504. of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the son of God,

  505. as it is written in the prophets. All right.

  506. Which prophets? The prophets that were in what

  507. we call the Old Testament scriptures. Right.

  508. So we can say that the foundation started from

  509. Genesis to the writings of the prophets. All

  510. right. Till. Where we see the fulfillment in

  511. what Christ has done. John chapter 1 verse 1.

    John 1:1

  512. Also, John started from the foundation. John

    John 1:1

  513. chapter 1 verse 1. Yes. In the beginning. All

  514. right. Referring to where? Genesis chapter what?

  515. Chapter 1 verse 1, isn't it? And for Luke, Luke

  516. started in Luke chapter 3. He gave us a context

    Luke 3 chapter mention

  517. of his writing, even though he was writing to

  518. an individual, but the context of what he wrote

  519. was in Luke chapter 3, verse 23. Continue, you

    Luke 3:23

  520. see? Yes. So when you read down, you see the

  521. genealogy of Jesus Christ. Trace back to who?

  522. Trace back to verse 38. Read verse 38. And the

  523. Son of God. So, going back to the beginning of

  524. everything. Therefore, everything we teach, alright,

  525. must have its root from where? From the beginning,

  526. from Genesis. Now, there is always a building

  527. concept in the Bible. Alright? There's always

  528. a concept about building. When I mean building,

  529. I mean construction in the Bible. You will see

  530. it throughout the Bible. The foundation is Genesis.

  531. And the end of that building is what we call

  532. the end of the world. Hallelujah. Let me repeat

  533. that sentence again. I said in the Bible, there's

  534. a building concept. And the foundation is in

  535. Genesis. From the Old Testament Scriptures. Okay?

  536. The foundation is in Genesis. And the end of

  537. that building is what we call the end of the

  538. age. The end of the world. The end of the world.

  539. That should give you a little bit of hint of

  540. what Jesus will explain today. to the disciples

  541. in Matthew 24 verse 3. When do we ask him, when

    Matthew 24:3

  542. will the end of the world come? Are we together?

  543. So, therefore, the end of the world has a positive

  544. connotation and not a negative one. Alright?

  545. So when we talk about the end of the world, we're

  546. not referring to something dangerous. Okay? We're

  547. not looking for, you know, we've watched so much

  548. movies of, what do we call it? Destruction. Of,

  549. give me a word, please. I might get it right.

  550. You know, when COVID came, they say, ah, we've

  551. come to the end of the world. And then some people

  552. thought that the vaccine was CCCs. That when

  553. you receive it, you will take the number of the

  554. beast. Some of us collected. Some of us did not

  555. collect. Eh? You have the booster. Okay. And

  556. we are still here. Hallelujah. There was a prophecy,

  557. I think, someone prophesied that the war would

  558. end today. Is it today or yesterday? September

  559. 2020, 25. And today is, And it has come and it

  560. has passed. And the world has no end. And oftentimes,

  561. whenever they want to explain this, they go to

  562. Matthew 24. Hallelujah. To try to explain the

  563. concept of rapture. And we've taught you that

  564. in the Bible, you read from Genesis to Revelation,

  565. you will find the word rapture. Which means that

  566. it is coined from somewhere and from something.

  567. Hallelujah. This explanation, right, is very,

  568. very fundamental in helping us understand the

  569. concept of the kingdom of God. Now, when we begin

  570. to build from here, we'll begin to see God's

  571. plan from the foundation. Hallelujah. On Wednesday,

  572. please come prepared. We're going to see from

  573. the foundation. To Abraham. Abraham saw a land.

  574. Amen? What is that land? In Hebrew, we see that

  575. it was a city. And obviously we know there is

  576. no Jerusalem here. What did Jacob saw? Jacob

  577. saw a house. Is that construction? Does land

  578. look like construction? Does a house look like

  579. construction? Amen. And all these things will

  580. give us a concept of what the kingdom of heaven

  581. is. And Moses will construct a temple. All right.

  582. Is that construction? Amen. Now I'm trying to

  583. give us an idea of how God communicated the concept

  584. of the kingdom of heaven from the foundation

  585. to where? To the end of. The completion of the

  586. work of establishing the kingdom. Hallelujah.

  587. So this background will set us in the good order

  588. to understand what the plan of God is. To understand

  589. how God walked through seasons and generations

  590. to bring about the manifestation of his plan.

  591. We will see the culmination, how the plan of

  592. God was executed. And we will see our place in

  593. the plan of God. And how we can manifest the

  594. kingdom of God. Hallelujah. So do we know what

  595. is the foundation of the world? Help me so that

  596. I will know that I have achieved something today.

  597. Do we know the foundation of the world? Do we

  598. know the end of the world? Let's rise on our

  599. feet and pray. We appreciate you being here today.
