bow down our heads and just pray? Say, I am receptive

to the Word of God this morning. I am receptive

to the Word of God. My mind is set to receive

from the Word of God. My mind is set to receive

the Word of God. I understand. I have divine

understanding. As the teaching is coming, my

mind is opened. I understand this world with

more clarity in the name of Jesus. Every veil

is taken away in the name of Jesus. Every heart

and soul is taken away in the name of Jesus.

I understand the revelation of Christ. I understand

the message of Christ. I understand the gifts

that Christ has bestowed unto us. I have in -depth

understanding. I am not confused. I have clarity

in the name of Jesus. As the word comes, the

miraculous happens even as the word has been

preached in the name of Jesus. Thank you, Father.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. In Jesus' mighty

name, we pray. All right, great. So it's good

to be in church this morning and it's good to

have us in church. Last week, Wednesday, we were

encouraged to listen to the previous track so

that we can be able to follow in this teaching

because this teaching is actually in series and

we've been taking this teaching from, I think,

August. Right. And this is October. So we are

continuing in this teaching today. Now, the title

of this is The Gifts of Healing. So for me, they

are saying this should be the subtitle. Please

don't just put the things of the spirit or what

you're putting. Please. This should be the subtitle.

The Gifts. S in the Gifts of Healing. The Gifts

of Healing. Now let's go to Acts. Chapter 4,

Acts 4 · chapter mention

Acts chapter 10. I said every time we would teach,

Acts 10 · chapter mention

we would read the scripture, and then we would

begin teaching. It's to prepare our minds and

our hearts to receive what the Bible is going

to teach. What we are going to explain from the

scriptures today. Acts chapter 10, verse 44.

was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit

fell upon all those who heard the word. Can you

we thank you because there's manifestation of

your power, even as we teach in the name of Jesus.

So the title of this teaching is the gifts of

healing. Because the last time we talk about

faith, right? We talk about the gift of faith.

That the gift of faith, right, is something that

you can stand in gap and receive for someone.

So someone is sick, someone is stressed, someone

is going through challenges. You can receive

on behalf of someone. So you can believe for

someone. There are many people that have believed

something for us. And later in our life, we received

them. Right? So you can believe someone can stand

in the place of prayer for you and they can believe

that you receive healing, you receive different

things, you receive what you are expecting from

God. So at those times, your own faith might

be failing, right? Your faith, there are circumstances

that might make you not to be able to exercise

faith. But someone can receive by believing on

your behalf that this thing will happen, right?

And we see that now today, we want to focus on

one of those things that can be received. And

one of those things is healing. Healing is one

of those things that can be received and is a

gift. So it can be administered. Healing can

be administered. Healing can be received. Healing

can be received. Now, while I was preparing this

study, right, I had to actually, first of all,

go through several understanding of healing,

right? The goal today is to fill us with overwhelming

evidence that healing is something that takes

place among the believers. They can receive it

and they can minister it. So the goal today is

to show us from the scripture or the goal of

this teaching is to show us from the scripture

that, Healing is something that takes place among

the believers. They can minister it and they

can receive it. So like we've taught that because

we all have the spirit of God, all that is found

in the spirit of God can be exercised by the

believer. All that is found in the spirit of

God can be exercised by the believer. And the

gift of healing is one of those things. And here

we see it's under the gifts, right? Under the

spiritual gifts. Now, one of the things that

we see is that some people said healing, there's

no more healing. In fact, while they counter

many gifts of the spirits, right? Many things

of the spirit, for example, speaking in tongues,

prophesying, word of wisdom, word of knowledge,

right? Healing is one of the ones that got the

hits the most, right? Healing God. Why did they

say healing God hits the most? The reason is

because when they pray for people, they have

another mindset that this person might not be

healed and God might want this person to die.

So by that, right, the administration of healing

to people is weakened. So they're not able to

administer healing. So they'll say, oh, if it

is God's will, let this person die. God's will?

Regarding healing in the Bible, it's clear. Are

we together? So we are going to see it today,

God's will regarding it. If God really desire

people to be healed, and we see it consistently.

Now, so some people pray that people should,

you know, God's will should be done, but God's

will is healing when it comes to healing people.

Now, the first thing we are going to do this

morning, is to check the Old Testament text.

Right? The Old Testament text. If God desire

people to be healed. Were people healed in the

Old Testament? Right? Because one of the arguments

is also that this healing stopped when John the

Baptist died. So they argue that, you know, all

those things we call the things of the Spirit,

all the things we call prophecy, these things

ended the moment the last apostle, which was

John, The moment the last apostle died, it all

ended. The problem with that is because they've

not been able to check that even before the disciples,

was God healing people? He was, right? So we'll

see it from the scriptures. So if God was healing

people before the disciples, when the disciples

healed before resurrection, and they healed after

resurrection, then today, healing should still

be taking place, right? So it means that they've

not paid attention to those scriptures. So we're

going to open the scriptures today to show that

God desire people to be healed, right? And he

ministers that through every believer that has

the spirit of God. Now, you know, in this church,

that's one of our emphasis is that we train you

to be a minister. Because the Bible says he has

set them in the church. The prophet, the apostles,

the evangelists, the teachers, the pastors. Ephesians

4 .11. For the equipping of who? The saints.

So this morning is another equipping for you

so that you can understand how healing takes

place. That healing still takes place today.

Hallelujah. Alright, so let's start. The way

I'm going to teach it, I'm going to teach it

in... kind of sections we have a b c so you can

write so that it can guide us now the first point

where we will see healing is just write physicians

healing the first point a physicians healing

we want to take different types of healing that

the bible acknowledges in the old testament the

2 Kings 9:15

Kings 9, this is the physicians in it. Does the

Bible acknowledge, right? Does the Bible acknowledge

that there are doctors, people visit doctors?

Does the Bible acknowledge that? Does the Bible

acknowledge that there are substances that you

can use to get healed? Does the Bible acknowledge

that? That is what we are saying in this first

section. The physicians healing. Now he said,

but King Joram had returned to Jezreel to recover

from the wounds. which the Assyrians, the Syrians

had inflicted on him when he fought with Hazel,

king of Syria. And Jehu said, if you so mind,

right, let no one, right, leave or escape from

the city to go to Jezreel. The next one. So Jehu

drove the chariot and went to Jezreel to Joram.

for Joram was laid up there and he has the king

of Judah who had come down to Joram. Go back

to verse 15. Go back to verse 15. So he returned

to Jezreel to recover from the wounds, right?

So he was actually in this context visiting a

physician. Okay, if you read the entire context,

he was actually visiting a physician when a war

had taken place and he needed to recover from

the wounds. So this is not divine healing, right?

This one is talking about someone paying a visit,

right? For a physical treatment. Okay. So it's

someone that was paying a visit to a physician

for physical treatment. Let's go to 2 Chronicles

16, 12. 2 Chronicles 15. 16, 12, please. And

in the 39th year of the rain, Asa became diseased

in the streets and his malady was severe. Yet

in this disease, he did not seek the Lord, but

he sought who? He sought physicians. So physicians

were there, right? Physicians were there. Now,

from one of our studies and series of our studies,

we have also seen, we have also seen, because

I want to stick to the Old Testament, that oil,

is also being used, right, as a form of treatment.

As a form of treatment. So, we see that oil is

used. Now, if you can write it down, when Joseph,

right, when Joseph was told his father was sick,

one of the things they took there was oil. So,

they also used oil for embalming of someone who

has passed. Right? Joseph used that on Jacob.

So, oil has some medicinal use in the Bible.

And the Bible acknowledges these things. Let

me give you one text from the Old Testament,

from the New Testament. Just this one we'll take

from the New Testament. 1 Timothy, right? Let's

just read 1 Timothy. 1 Timothy 5, 23. And it

said, drink no longer water, but use a little

wine for your stomach's sake. and thy often infirmities,

right? He said, use a little wine, Paul talking

to Timothy, for thy often infirmities, right?

So it means that certain substance we use for

physical treatment of infirmities. Are we together?

Now, after checking the scriptures, one thing

that is clear about the Bible is that most times,

There are very few records of physical healing.

And I'll tell you the reason. There are very

few records of physical healing in the sense

that they had to visit the physician and the

Bible described what was given and how that what

was given produced healing. There are very few

instances. And I tell you, the reason why this

is like that is because the Bible is communicating

a spiritual reality. Are we together? So the

reason why the emphasis of the scriptures is

not on using physical substance, the emphasis,

I said, because there's an acknowledgement that

the emphasis is low is because the Bible is communicating

a spiritual reality that it wants we, the believers,

to walk in. So the emphasis on using physical

substance is quite... It's like you having a

book dedicated to matters of the spirit and you

pay too much emphasis on the things of the natural,

right? So it becomes what is the main subject

of the Bible, right? You can question what's

the main subject if it's talking about all of

this. But there is overwhelming evidence of divine

healing in the Bible. Overwhelming evidence of

divine healing. Now we are done with the natural,

the physician's healing. If you also notice,

when Jesus was dying, they also used the word.

That the physician should do what? Should heal

himself. They used this word on Christ. They

said, physician, heal yourself. So, they were

assuming and saying that Christ is like their

medical doctor. Because they have seen him heal

many people. They've seen Christ heal many people.

They've seen him done a lot of miracles, but

yet they had no understanding. So by the time

they approached him to even walk him, they walk

him as if he was a medical doctor. They say,

oh, physicians, heal yourself. They use the statement.

So it means that in that society and that environment,

the Bible acknowledges how the physicians plays

a role. But the emphasis is not the physician.

The emphasis is not the physician. Now let's

look at another one. Let's look at another one.

So the gift of the Spirit, before we look at

it, just write this down. The gift of the Spirit

is not pertaining to this part, this physical

use of physician. The gift of the Spirit, the

gift that we're talking about in 1 Corinthians

12, is not pertaining to this physician's healing.

It's not pertaining to that. For every section

we will check, we will check it and see what

God is really saying. The reason is because so

that you can be able to know and how to administer

these things. Now, the second one. The second

one. Can you write? I just created these titles.

You just bear with me. Healing in quotes. Just

put healing and put in quotes. Quotation marks.

Healing. Inanimate objects. Healing inanimate

objects or things. I intentionally told you to

put that healing in quotation. There's a reason.

So you put healing inanimate things or objects.

Now in the scriptures, there are places where

the word healing was used for things, right?

It was used for things. For example, healing

inanimate things, water was healed in the Bible.

Was water healed? They used the word healed for

water. Exodus 15 verse 22 to 27. Exodus 15 verse

Exodus 15:22–27 Exodus 15:22–27

22 to 27. And Moses brought Israel from the Red

Sea, and they went out into the wilderness of

Sheol. And they went three days in the wilderness

and found no water. Now, when they came to Marah,

they could not drink the waters of Marah, for

they were bitter. This is not figurative, this

is literal, right? Therefore the name of the

place was called Marah. The next one. And the

people complained against Moses saying, what

shall we drink? So he cried out to the Lord and

the Lord showed him a tree. When he cast it into

the waters, the waters were made sweet. There

he made a statute and ordinance for them and

there he tested them. So what did Moses do here?

Moses healed the water. We did not see the word

healing here, right? We did not see the word

healing here. Let's go to 2 Kings. 2 Kings 2.

I think verse 19. If I'm correct, verse 19. Then

the men of the city said to Elisha, Please notice

the situation of this city is pleasant, as my

Lord sees, but the water is bad and the ground

is barren. And he said, Bring me a new bowl and

put a salt in it. So they brought it to him.

Then he went out to the source of the water and

cast the salt there. So we see in this context,

what was being healed was water. Just similar

to what Moses did. Similar to what Moses did.

Let me see if I have one more scripture. For

an inanimate object, the word healed is used.

1 Kings 18. Verse 30. 1 Kings 18, verse 30. Then

1 Kings 18:30

Elijah said to all the people, come near to me.

So all the people came near to him and he repaired

the altar of the Lord that was broken. Okay?

He repaired what? The altar of the Lord that

was broken. Now that word repair is the word

rapha. It's the same word that was translated

to heal. He said, and he did what? He repaired

the altar of the Lord. That word is still the

word Raphael, right? Was used. So the actions,

right? The actions of Elijah when it comes to

the altar of the Lord. So healing, repaired,

was used. Now, in this context, okay? Having

understood the gift of the spirit. And as we

proceed, we will see what took place here. Okay,

are we together? What took place here is the

working of miracles, not the gift of healing.

Please write it down. That what took place in

all this context, apart from the one that Elisha

was physically repairing the temple, what took

place here is the working of miracles is not

healing. And I'll tell you why. So this is also

not related to the gift of healing, but we see

the word used in the scriptures. We are coming

to the one where the Bible talks about healing.

Now, something can be happening in your environment,

right? You have heard testimony of people, they

wanted to hold a service, okay? And they brought

an engine that was working, maybe an engine like

this. And the mixer was working all along. But

all of a sudden, they came to relocate it to

a place where they needed to do evangelism and

nothing was working again. And you'll hear people

say, they just went and they lay hands and they

prayed on it and it started working again. Now,

this is working of miracles. You know why? Because

healing, in terms of the gift of healing, takes

place, right, on the vessel that God can inhabit.

So the gift of healing works on the verse. So

it does not work. We don't call that healing

because that is the working of a miracle because

God does not work there. He cannot inhabit an

engine, but he can inhabit horse. So why do we

call the one that happens to us healing? Because

the purpose, I'm going to take this back again.

The purpose of healing is to show the gospel.

When it comes to man. So when it comes to man,

God's purpose of providing this possibility of

divine healing is that when we heal people, we

can show them the message of Christ. Or that

we ourselves, when we are healed, we are able

to go and preach. So again, like I said, circumstances

around you, situations around you, right? Things

might be happening and you can speak. You can

touch them, right? You can look at them and,

you know, say something in the spirit and that

natural circumstance can come to obedience of

what you have said. That is not healing. That

is the workings of miracles, which we are going

to teach. Okay? That is the workings of miracles.

Now, when Jesus rebuked the wind, was Jesus healing

the wind? Together, when Jesus rebuked the wind,

was he healing the wind? Okay, that's an inanimate

object that was being spoken to, right? And the

wind respected. So when we deal with those circumstances

and things, it's actually you're working miracles

because you are changing something in the natural

to obedience. But the word was used for these.

It is because. So why was it used? It is because

it is to show that something has been restored.

So healing was used for water, for altar, for

example, altar. It was used to show that something

has been restored. Something has been made whole.

Something has been made complete. Something has

been put in a state where it can function well

for man. That's it. It has been shown, it has

been used to show that now the water can be drank,

can be taken, right? We can take the water. We

can also say that the altar, then worship can

take place there, right? So it is that the natural

circumstances around us, we put them on that

subjection through the power of God. When we

do that, that is working of miracles. So this

is just part of it. So all of this is not healing,

but the word was used to show that they have

been made complete. Now, the main one we want

to talk about. The main one. Healing in the context

of salvation. Healing in the context. This should

be the C. Right? This should be our C. This should

be C. Healing in the context of salvation. So

you can write that the gift of healing, the gift

of healing, right? The gift of healing is expressed

in the context of salvation because it was given.

The gift of healing is expressed in the context

of salvation because it was given. by the Spirit

of Christ. Right? It's expressed in the context

of salvation because it was given by the Spirit

of Christ. Now, before we talk about the resurrection,

right? Before we talk about the resurrection,

we're going to come to that later. Let's begin

again to peek from the Old Testament to see if

people were healed or what healing was talked

about. Now, let's see. 2 Chronicles 7, verse

2 Chronicles 7:14

14. 2 Chronicles 7, verse 14. The first scripture

2 Chronicles 7:14

is for this text. If my people who are called

by my name will humble themselves and pray and

seek my face and turn from their wicked ways,

then I will hear them from heaven. I will forgive

their sin and I will heal their land. Now, it's

talking about a spiritual state. Over people.

Right? He's talking about a spiritual state over

people. And healing is used to communicate the

deliverance of God. Okay? He's talking about

the spiritual state of the people. And healing

is used to communicate the deliverance of God.

We're going to come to that that refers to physical

healing. So this one we see that he's talking

about their spiritual state. Their land. Now,

this land is not land. It's not literal here.

It doesn't mean the floor or the ground, but

it's talking about the people will be healed.

It means they will be restored back to the place

of worship. Now let's see Isaiah 1 verse 1 to

Isaiah 1:1–6

6. Isaiah 1 verse 1 to 6. And the vision of Isaiah,

Isaiah 1:1–6

the son of Amos, which is so concerning Judah

and Jerusalem in the days of Uzziah, Jotham,

Ahaz, and Hezekiah, the kings of Judah. Hear,

O heavens, and give hear, O earths. For the Lord

has spoken, I have nourished and brought up children,

and they have rebelled against me. The ox knows

its owner, and the donkey its master's scribe.

But Israel does not know, my people do not consider.

Alas, sinful nations, the people laden with iniquity,

a broad of evildoers, children who are corruptors,

they are forsaking the Lord. They have provoked

to hunger. The Holy One of Israel, they have

turned away. They have turned away backward.

Why should you be shrinking again? You will revolt

more and more. The whole earth is sick and the

heart faints. From the soul of the foot, even

to the head, there is no soundness in it. but

wounds and bruises, right? Putrefying sores.

They have not been closed or bound or suited

with what? Ornaments. Again, you see ornaments,

right? Used for expression of physical healing.

Now, what is Isaiah saying here? We need to understand

what Isaiah is saying here. Isaiah, okay? Isaiah

is using a people that have been taken captives,

right? And the states, they find themselves in

sickness. to preach a spiritual reality to them.

So again, I say, Isaiah found the people, his

people, right? In captivity and they were actually

sick. They were actually had their shorts, right?

They were in another country, right? They were

taking exile. So when Isaiah wanted to communicate

with them, he used their natural circumstances

to communicate a similar thing. in their spiritual

states. So in the book of Isaiah, you have to

pay attention very well, right? To know when

he's doing this particular style of writing.

So Isaiah told us that they are wounded and he's

using that wound to communicate that. So he's

using their physical sickness to communicate

God's salvation. That is why later in that chapter,

he says, come, let us what? Let us resume together.

Right? And he began to talk about if your sins.

Right? But what did he use to communicate sin?

The bruise, the sores, the sickness. So sin,

right, is communicated as sickness. It's communicated

as sickness. And the solution to it is the preaching

of the gospel. Are we together? The solution

to that sickness is the preaching of the gospel.

Let's add more scriptures to where sin has been

used, where sickness has been used to communicate

sin. Right? Let's add scriptures there. Jeremiah

Jeremiah 3:22

3 verse 22. Jeremiah 3 verse 22. Return you backsliding

Jeremiah 3:22

children. I will heal your backsliding. Indeed,

we do come to you. for you are the Lord who are

God. So backsliding, another way of people who

are not believing, healing for backsliding, right?

People who are drawing away. So backsliding,

talking about people who reject God. Another

scriptures, Jeremiah 17, verse 14. I know someone

might be asking, is it only sin that God heals?

No, we are just starting from here. God heals

the physical sickness too, because that's where

we are going actually. That's where we are going.

But we need to know, we need to lay this foundation

so that when we are talking about the physical

healing, you don't see it as a show. You don't

see it as what we are doing just to, it's just

there. You will know the reason, the purpose

behind God giving the believer the ability to

heal. You will know. So as we see, first primarily,

the emphasis. It's taught here as sickness, sin.

Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed. Save

me, and I shall be saved. For you are my what?

My praise. Right? So the prophet is really emphasizing

it and using it, you know, reiterating what he

said. Heal me, I will be healed. Save me. So

within that context, we also see healing and

salvation. Healing and salvation. You can put

all this other... and you can read them later.

Isaiah 6 verse 1. You can put Isaiah 6 verse

Isaiah 6:1 Isaiah 6:1

1. Let's see. Put Isaiah 6 verse 1. Come and

Isaiah 6:1

let us return to the Lord for He has torn, but

He will heal us. He is striking. He will bind

us all. Right? Isaiah 14 verse 4. Sorry, I'm

Isaiah 14:4

reading them fast so that we can get to a particular

place. Isaiah 14 verse 4. I will heal their backsliding,

Isaiah 14:4

the same thing. I will love them freely, which

is the point of salvation. My anger has turned

away from him, right? For my anger has turned

away from him. Now, the last text that we will

see, just write it down, Isaiah 53 verse 1 to

Isaiah 53:1–5

5. We will study it extensively because that

text is one that we use. that he had bought our

sorrows, he had bought our griefs, right? By

his stripes, we are healed, right? So that one

also is in the context of salvation, but does

not negate that God heals us physically. Do we

get it? Isaiah 53 verse 25. So the problem is

when we lay emphasis on one against the other,

or we accept one against the other. So most people

will say this thing, this gift of healing has

ended. They emphasize on every part where healing

has taken place as salvation. But truly, God

does heal the physical body. So you can write

this part now, divine healing, right? Divine

healing. Divine healing. divine healing. So we've

started from physicians healing, we've gotten

to inanimate, we are in healing and the context

of salvation. Now we're talking about divine

healing, right? Is there divine healing? Despite

these things being communicated as, despite sickness

being used to communicate sin, is there divine

healing? Yes, there is. And in the New Testament,

that's not the first place where we see it. So

there's divine healing. So you can rise. Divine

healing is a sign of God's salvation from sin.

Divine healing. It's a sign of God's salvation

from sin. It is a sign of God's salvation from

sin. When we heal, Through the supernatural power

of God, when we heal through the supernatural

power of God, we communicate the resurrection

of Christ. When we heal through the supernatural

power of God, we communicate the resurrection

of Christ. Now let's check. some Old Testament

scriptures and see if healing took place there.

Right? If healing took place. Healing of the

body. We mean divine healing now. Not using it

figuratively, but divine healing. So there's

what we call the law of first mention in the

scriptures. So when we are studying the scriptures,

when we are paying attention to the Bible, there's

what we call the law of first mention, which

means that where was healing first discussed?

Right? Who first healed, for example? Who first

healed? Who first healed someone? Where was healing

first discussed? So, of course, you know, we

talk about a lot of things mentioned. Our first

book is what? Genesis. Our first book is Genesis.

So let's go to Genesis 20. Genesis 20, verse

Genesis 20:7

7 and 17. So now, therefore, restore the man's

wife, for he is a prophet. Please hold on to

this part that says he's a prophet, because he's

going to help us explain verse 17. He is a prophet

and he will do what? Pray. And you shall what?

Leave. But if you do not restore her, know that

you shall die and all who are yours. Right? Now

go to verse 17. Let's go to verse 17. So Abraham

did what? He prayed to God. And God what? Healed

Abimelech, his wife, his female servants, then

the poor children. Now, so he's talking about

Abraham. right? Praying for Abimelech, a king,

and he was healed. So it means that there were

infirmities on him, on his family members, and

all of that, right? And what did Abraham do?

Abraham prayed and he was healed. So from the

scriptures, at least by this record, we see that

Abraham himself healed someone. He prayed and

he was healed. Hallelujah. Abraham prayed and

someone was healed. Numbers 21, verse 9. The

Numbers 21:9

next person, usual, right? Moses. Numbers 21,

Numbers 21:9

verse 9. And Moses made a brozen serpent and

put it on a pole, and so it was, if a serpent

had beaten anyone, when he looked at the brozen

serpent, he lived. Right? He lived. So, it means

that Moses was also administering healing. In

this context, who administered the healing? Moses.

So he said, okay, for you people to be healed,

he raised the top. Was that figurative? No. In

that day, they had to look. If you don't look,

the person would die, right? So they needed to

look. So all of them looked, right? All of them,

although in John, right? This was later used

to communicate what? Salvation again. So when

we see divine healing, salvation is always around

it. It was physical here. People who had sinned,

they were beaten by a literal snake. And Moses

healed them by administering healing. But it

was just to communicate salvation when John came.

So we see divine healing here. Another scripture

is Numbers 12, verse 3. Numbers 12, verse 3.

This one is a context where it will be men, right?

where Moses prayed. I think that was scriptures

I was looking. Moses prayed that Miriam be restored.

Right? So I was saying that context is the context

where if we're to be other men, right? That's

why Moses, you know, squirt me, right? Numbers.

go back to that Numbers? Let's find it. Around

that verse. Because he told Miriam that Miriam

would be healed. He prayed for her to be healed

and she was healed. Despite that, what did they

do? They rebelled against the authority of Moses.

Okay, so 13. So help me with Numbers 12 verse

means that exceedingly what we see in the scriptures

is a lot of divine healing taking place. And

Moses cried out to the Lord saying, please heal

her, oh God, I pray. We knew that she did not

die on that sickness. She was restored. She was

restored. So we know that you can now write,

you can write now that the gift of healing The

gift of Hillel is for the physical body of man

Old Testament, we see healing. Jesus coming in

the New Testament continued and also did what?

He healed. But what do we see there? We see that

it goes with what? The preaching of the gospel.

So he said, preaching the kingdom of God and

healing all kinds of diseases. Healing all kinds.

There's something I did not emphasize on when

we're talking about Abraham praying for Abimelech.

In verse 7, he said he is what? A prophet. It

means that Abraham communicated the message of

God. That was what he does. He is a prophet.

He communicates the message of God. And therefore,

he administers what? Healing. Right? He administered

healing. Good. And now we see Christ communicating

the message of God and he did what? He's administering

healing. So therefore, can we say that every

believer who walks in the office of Christ as

the prophets, as a priest, as a king, can we

say that every believer can administer healing?

Can we say that? Yes. Right? Yes. So just add

1 Peter just to connect that together. 1 Peter

1 Peter 2:9

2 verse 9. But you are a chosen generation, a

royal priest to the holy nation, a special people

that you may proclaim the praises of him who

has called you out of darkness into his marvelous

light. Next. Who were once not a people, but

are now the people of God, who had not obtained

mercy, but now have obtained mercy. We read the

scriptures this morning. Go back to verse 9,

please. It said, A royal priesthood, a holy nation,

a peculiar people, God's own people. One of the

ways by which we make known the praises of God

is also through healing. So that when somebody

is healed through your hands, they will give

praises to God. They will give thanks to God.

You can teach them the word of Christ. You can

explain to them what has taken place. Do we get

it? That when somebody comes to you, and you

administer, you don't say, oh, you are healed.

You don't just heal somebody or someone comes

to you and you pray for the person and the person

comes back to you and you say, I'm healed. And

you just say, okay, go and seek a priest. There

is nothing like that. You have to preach to the

person if the person is an unbeliever. If the

person is a believer that does not understand

this thing and it took place and the person shares

the testimony, you must teach the person that

the gifts of healing is real and God does heal

people. There is divine healing. Are we together?

So, healing comes with the communication of a

message. Healing comes with what? The communication

of a message. Let's go to Hezekiah's case again.

In this case, let me tell you what was communicated.

What was communicated in the case of... Hezekiah

was the deliverance of Israel. So God's healing

of Hezekiah, you can write it down, that God's

healing of Hezekiah was the communication of

God's deliverance of Israel. He said on the third

day, you shall go up to the house of the Lord.

Now, if you continue to read this text downward,

you will see that Israel was delivered from their

enemies. Israel was delivered from the enemy

nations around them. So the healing of the King

Isaiah was actually a communication of God's

salvation to his people. The communication of

God's salvation to its people. So now, right,

to the church, to the church, to the church,

to the church, I mean today, today, right, to

the church, to we that are in church today, right,

we're going to finish on this particular note.

To the church, the gift of healing, it means

to the believer, to the church, when we heal

people, when we lay hands on people, when we

call people to come out and they are healed.

To the church. The gift of healing communicates

edification to the people. The gift of healing

communicates edification. It means it strengthens

the faith of the people. It strengthens their

body for the work of ministry. It's edification

unto them. It is strengthening to them. It is

for them to be able to function for the work

of the gospel. Let's go to Acts 10 verse 38.

was with him. Now, we see Jesus here. And this

was not before resurrection, right? I'm sorry,

this on Wednesday much more because this was

before resurrection. But for the church, you

must know that it's for edification. For this

as well, is to strengthen the faith of the people

and to communicate the message. Let's see. A

Now, for unbelievers who are outside the church,

okay? For unbelievers who are outside the church,

right? When you heal them, it is for a sign.

The word sign, S -I -G -H, S -I -G. And it's

for a sign. For you, healing is not a sign. Judah,

you are in the church. It is what is among the

package that came as you believe the message

of God. But for those who are outside, when we

heal, it is for a sign to a message. For you,

healing is not a sign. It is the bread of the

children. Healing was used to communicate food.

It means that it is something regular. It is

something that should be found where the children

are. It means that the children need to be always

whole. The children need to be sound. Those that

are called for the work of ministry need to be

healthy so they can do the job. So healing was

used to communicate food in that context. But

for someone that is outside, it is a sign. Right?

It is a sign because they do not understand the

power of God. So what is the power of God? Romans.

Salvation. The gospel on salvation. Salvation.

That is the power of God. So when we heal people

outside, it is that they might see the power

of God. What is the power of God? It's salvation.

It's salvation. Hallelujah. Amen. So, we see

that every believer, because we are prophets

and kings, we can walk in this. We can walk in

this. Let's go to Luke 9, verse 1. I'm just reading

Luke 9:1

these scriptures to also show that when Jesus

was on earth before he died, there was healing.

There was healing. The New Testament text. Luke

Luke 9:1

chapter 9 verse 1. Then he called his 12 disciples

and gave them power and authority over all demons

and to what? To cure diseases. So this is, they

are not medical doctors. They are actually men

who just started following Jesus and he gave

them authority. He gave them power, right? He

gives authority to exercise power. That is what

that means, right? You give them authority to

exercise power over these diseases and they heal.

So this is divine healing. Hallelujah. So divine

healing is what we see. And the question I want

to ask is, the people that they went to heal,

were they believers? They were healing all manner

of people. All manner of people that some of

them did not still believe the message. But they

were communicating the message, they were receiving

the healing. Hallelujah. So as believers, this

is where we stop today. As believers, we can

administer healing because we have the spirit

of Christ in us. These folks, they didn't have

the spirit of Christ. Christ gave them something

to go about it. And that is what made the healing

to take place. What about you that now have Christ

himself in you? If Abraham, that looked forward

to the church. If Isaiah, that the spirit comes

upon and lives, he said, the spirit of a sovereign

Lord God is upon me. Isaiah 61. If Ezekiah and

all those people who never had the Holy Spirit

residing permanently in them, if they can walk

in healing, what about you in high? That we now

have the spirit of God residing in us. It means

that we can walk in healing, right? Can we be

on our feet? Can we be on our feet and just pray?

Now what we want to do now is to pray yourself

into, after this teaching, pray yourself into

believing it. Pray yourself to take away every

obstacle of your mind that makes you believe

that there is no healing. Because healing takes

place and it can take place through you. Can

we be on our feet? All we just want to do is

to just pray in the Holy Ghost. For about a few

minutes, pray in the Holy Ghost and notify yourself

that I believe that healing takes place through
