The Gifts of the Spirit pt 14: The Gift of Prophecy in the Believer Today

tongues and still listen to me, amen? Praise

God. You can still be praying and what? And still

listen. So Lord, as I'm here, privileged to be

here. As I'm speaking and also what? Listening

within. Hallelujah. Praise God. So in the week

I had someone say something, just a few days

ago. He was teaching about the gifts of the Holy

Ghost. The gifts of prophecy. You know, and he

said something. which is not in the scriptures,

however. He said that the gifts of the Spirit

are in ranking. And he said he's going to show

them how it is ranked. But he said something.

He said, you know, him, he's privileged to have

all the nine. Ha! And he said he will show them

how to just start operating in few. Because he's

in rank. So there are, you know our people, there

are dimensions you must reach to now see the

nine. But for him, he's privileged to have the

nine. Do you know the implication of that? He

is Lord of the Rings. Yeah, so everybody has

to look up to him. He's the general. Yes, that's

the right word. Hallelujah. Say, I have all the

gifts of the Holy Ghost. I have all the gifts

of the Holy Spirit. You know, when you say, I

have resources, what you are saying is that all

that is in Christ Jesus, the Holy Ghost has deployed

it to you. Hallelujah. The Holy Spirit didn't

forget one in heaven. He didn't forget one somewhere.

He has deployed what? All the resources. To who?

To you. Praise God. So when you get to somewhere

and then somebody tells you, you see, you, and

then he says something. He said, you know, the

one that every one of you have here is tongues.

That one is free for you. It's free. But you

see every other one? He said, it's the Holy Spirit.

The gifts are with the Holy Spirit. So he is

the one that when he didn't fit to see it at

operation, then he threw it. He releases it.

It's somebody that I know, I respect. Amen? So

I said, okay, so if the Holy Spirit has it, and

then now we need one, and he has made up his

mind not to give the one, come on, we'll be in

trouble. Hallelujah. See, I have all the gifts

of the Holy Spirit because God's word says so.

And that is my reality. Hallelujah. Choose to

believe God's word above every man's word. Amen.

That is why I would encourage us to stay. Stay

and be taught and be trained. Praise God. Stay.

Be patient. Be patient. Be patient. Be patient

to be taught and what? And trained in the word

of faith. That is our security. That is our security

against every kind of wind of doctrine. that

is flying to and fro everywhere. That is our

security. That is how we measure up unto maturity

to the fullness of Christ. That is why we hear

wind of doctrine, right? We are not traced to

and fro by it. So if I stand here and tell you

that every one of you just have only tongues

and I am the one that have the nine. Do you know

the implication of that? After this service,

there will be a line of people waiting for word

of wisdom, waiting for word of knowledge, waiting

for the prophetic. Praise God. That's the implication.

So question, what will I do as a believer, oh

Lord, to have this line? What will I do? Maybe

they will say 16 hours. I do 16 hours and I don't

see it. One video will say 100 days of tithing

and I will do 100 days and I don't see it. Do

you know what it starts becoming? I become a

frustrated believer that has a desire that cannot

be met. Hallelujah. But is that what Paul taught

the church in Corinthians? No. Praise God. That

all is at work in them. Hallelujah. And you know

that all is at work in us this evening? In RECF,

local church, we have all the gifts of the Holy

Ghost. Praise God. And we have all of them in

demonstration. Praise God. We see them. In fact,

he went out to say, he said, why you are seeing

some common and why some are not common is because

those ones are rare. Lord, gifts of the Holy

Ghost is rare. We have them in abundance. Hallelujah.

None of them is rare. None of them. No word of

knowledge is rare. No word of wisdom is rare.

No working of miracles is rare. No gift of faith

is rare. None of them is rare. All of them are

in abundant supply. You know? The guy that was,

the legs are gone, balls are finished. This young

guy walked. This man, they do miracles without

thinking. I always use this word. They do miracles

without what? They don't analyze it. The power

flows through my hands. The power of the Holy

Ghost flows through my lips. When I speak words,

I build things. When I speak words, I edify.

When I lay hands on things, I see things change.

Oh, I see the blind, the blind eyes open. Because

the power of the Holy Ghost flows through my

hands. Oh, I see deaf ears open. I see someone

here that has been having difficulty sleeping

through the night as a result of this meeting.

You're going to sleep every night without that

condition again in Jesus' name. Someone here

also that you've had a communication with your

mom regarding high blood pressure. From this

meeting tonight, that high blood pressure is

normal and is born in the name of Jesus. Someone

here, you have been reading the scriptures. and

you have been finding it difficult to understand.

And I tell you this by the Spirit of the Lord,

that the eyes of your understanding are open

as a result of this meeting. Spirit of Revelation

is rocking in your heart right now from this

meeting in the name of Jesus. Hallelujah. Praise

God. Hallelujah. Let's quickly do what we have

to do. We will take 30 minutes to 35 minutes

and then finish on the gifts of prophecy. And

we'll do something. Hallelujah. So, so far so

good from Pastor Emmanuel, myself. We've been

able to talk about a long, different series on

the gifts of the Holy Ghost. And we want to practice

all of them tonight. Hallelujah. Amen. We want

to practice what? All of them when? Tonight.

Hallelujah. Praise God. Amen. Yes, so, as we

are practicing them, the pastors, as they are

led in their heart, or they perceive in their

heart, they will move around and then imparting

people. Hallelujah. Praise God. Amen. Yeah, so

we're going to group ourselves. A couple of people

will be assigned to different groups to minister.

Amen. And then as we are doing that, the pastors

move around. As they perceive in their heart,

they are going to lay hands on people. Praise

God. Amen. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.

Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Glory to God. I believe

in miracles. I believe in miracles. I believe

in miracles. I see miracles. They happen through

my hands. They happen at my words, by the Spirit

of the Lord, in the name of Jesus. Praise God.

Hallelujah. One Sunday I came to church. Somewhere

around here I was feeling, I don't know what

was holding me. I could not stand. I didn't know

what was it. Pastor, if I... drove me to Gilney.

We went to a hospital. The guy took whatever,

whether he checked me or did not check me, I

don't know. But he tied some drugs, put some

things, gave me some prescriptions. I came home,

kept laying hands there. I'm healed, I'm healed,

I'm healed, I'm healed. Just within a week, I

remembered we had a pastor's meeting that same

week. You know, I also asked the pastors, I said,

please, that Saturday, I told them, I said, please,

can we just lay hands on my stomach and then

let's pray? I know they prayed, I slept, I woke

up, the pain gone. Sunday morning I came, I was

jumping everywhere, nothing. Monday morning I

waited to see whether he's there, nothing. Tuesday

I woke up, you know, nothing. I was like, hope

it's not my kidney. But kidney is at the back.

You know, I went on Goku. Demons are real. They're

on Goku. Don't allow any demon send you to God

to check what is disturbing you. Do you know

the result you see? That you have died last two

weeks. Yes, that's what you will see. With the

advent of Chadji Pitina, he will tell you anything

he wants to say. One day. One day? He said you

died last two weeks. So if you have been, maybe

it's kidney of so -and -so, maybe it's this,

this, maybe it's a liver, this, maybe it's a,

but liver where? Kidney where? I said on Sunday,

all you need to see is one miracle. Hallelujah.

You don't need 10. If you can see one, it means

that you can see 10. If you can see 10, it means

you can see 1 ,000. Hallelujah. The same power

you need for headache is the same power that

you need for cancer. The same power you need

for cancer is the same that will open the blind

eyes. It's same spirit. We don't have spirit

that casts out headache. We don't have spirit

that heals cancer. We don't have another spirit

that drives out demons. The Holy Ghost is Holy

Ghost. He is the Spirit of God and He walks sane.

Praise God. I choose to see the miraculous every

day in my life. Both in the things that pertain

to the spiritual and both in the things that

pertain to the natural. Praise God. So we ended

1 Corinthians chapter 14 on Sunday. Verse 3.

1 Corinthians 14 · chapter mention

Verse 3. Edification, exaltation and what? And

comfort. Praise God. Hallelujah. And we read

1 Corinthians 14 verse 6. And we said, now brethren,

1 Corinthians 14:6

if I come to you speaking with tongues, what

shall I profit you except I shall speak to you

either by revelation or by knowledge or by prophesying

or by what? Or by doctrine. Hallelujah. Praise

God. And that word revelation in 1 Corinthians

14, 6 is apocalypses. A -P -O -K -A -L -Y -P

-S -I -S. A -P -O -K -A -L -Y -P -S -I -S. Apocalypses.

Which implies to means full disclosure. Full

disclosure. To uncover. To lay open what has

been veiled. Hallelujah. Revelation. Full what?

Disclosure. Amen. To uncover. To unveil what

has been veiled. Praise God. So when we say revelation,

we're not saying that something is not there

and suddenly something happens. Praise God. Already

something is there and then we now see an unveiling

of the thing. Praise God. Hallelujah. So, and

when there is a full disclosure, it means that

the mind should be able to understand what is

seen. Praise God. Hallelujah. So Paul is saying

that when prophecy comes, prophecy brings full

disclosure. Prophecy unveils. Your understanding

will be able to be fruitful from it. So you will

benefit from it. Hallelujah. Prophecy does not

come to confuse you more. Prophecy comes to unveil.

I said it on Sunday, to unveil what? The will

of God, the plans of God, the purposes of God.

So that we can have direction. Amen? So that

we can have guidance. Praise God. Hallelujah.

Praise God. So that we can have what again? There's

another word there. Guidance, direction, encouragement,

and then help. Hallelujah. Praise God. Hallelujah.

That's what revelation is. And then he said knowledge.

What is knowledge? Translated from the word mercies.

G -N -O -S -I -S. Which implies insights. Gnosis.

G -N -O -S -I -S. Gnosis, actually. Which implies

insights. Insight into what? Insight or experiential

knowledge. Expiration knowledge. From where?

From God's words. And when that kind of knowledge

comes to you, it does not come in tongues. It

comes in plain words that your mind can understand.

Hallelujah. Praise God. Hallelujah. I said if

I come to you by prophecy, which we are doing

now. Amen. Or by doctrine. Doctrine means, it

implies an instruction. Amen. I often will say

if I come here and I just instruct you by tongues.

And then you go, yes, sir, I know what to do.

You don't know what to do. But as if I come and

I give you instruction. I said, this hall, actually,

we need to repaint it. We need to fix the windows.

We need to fix the doors. Actually, there have

been sound going out. We need to put some soundproofs

and ETC. Your mind and your understanding now

can understand, can take it. Amen. And you are

fruitful. Your mind is fruitful from it. Praise

God. Hallelujah. And may you live this blessed.

So what Paul is saying in 1 Corinthians 46 is

that if I come to you speaking with tongues only,

how can I profit you, brother? Except I come

to you by what? By revelation. Amen. Or by what?

Knowledge. Or by what? Prophesying or by what?

Or by teaching. Because if I come to you like

this now, your understanding will be blessed.

Hallelujah. Praise God. Hallelujah. Yeah, so

what is the purpose of prophecy? The gift of

prophecy? The purpose is what? For edification.

Hallelujah. So building. So building. So building.

So building. Lying in the wall is the ability

to build. Lying in is ability to what? To build,

build people by the Spirit of the Lord. Build

people by the Spirit of the Lord. Build what?

People. One of the words I got in the place of

prayer is that you have received so much information

on the other side, on the negative, and you have

used it and it has become your reality. Let me

use this word, your virtual reality. Because

your reality is in Christ Jesus. Amen? It's not

time for you to redefine what you're seeing about

your life. Redefine it how? By speaking. Speak

it how? By God's words. Take God's words and

then make them, speak them, prophesy them, pray

upon them. Declare them over your life. Ah, we

have prayed this prayer. I can give you my younger

brother's number. You can call him. We have prayed

this. We will never be like the people from my

village. We have prayed it. We will do work of

ministry. We will do this. We will do that. Every

night, we will fast and pray. We will go. One

of the things that drove us to go and do those

things is because of where we are coming from.

It wasn't knowledge, however. What drove us?

For example, what drove us is that since they

built our house, the house, 10 years, no paint,

no nothing, and there's this big crack. You can

see our neighbor's house. Lizard always coming.

So we said, no, if words cannot change it, we

know prayers can change it. We put it as a first

item. This house must be fixed. We started fasting.

We started praying every day. We started fasting.

Two weeks, our mom called us. She said, your

dad just came back and said, I think it's enough

now. This house needs to be painted and it needs

to be this thing. Ha! She said, this one that

we are seeing, it has happened. It means all

other ones will work. We intensified prayers.

We called Sam. We call other sabo. We call other

people. We say, see, we are praying every night.

And these things are working. I'm telling you,

we kept praying every night. I will tell you

this by the Spirit of the Lord. I know it because

we are still experiencing. All the things we

have prayed for, all of them happened. Even though

when they painted the houses, I don't know the

people that painted it. The color that was supposed

to be outside was inside. The ones inside, they

took it outside. I say they painted it. However,

the pillars are fixed. Everywhere is good. Who

carries that color? Brown color, maru, I've put

inside the room. Now I say, okay, it's okay,

no problem. Carry yellow color and paint outside.

At least now I can say, come and visit. I don't

bring people to my house. But for whatever reason,

our parents are okay with it. You know those

times my dad would say he's waiting for the crack

to reach to his end. No, cracks don't reach ends.

They just end the building. Yes. We kept praying

that, Lord, we know that our parents cannot afford

even natural things. You are sending us to places

on scholarships. You are sending us to everywhere

around the world. Scholarships everywhere, around

the world, around the world, around the world.

See, I'm telling you, they're all here. They

know it. People kept thinking maybe our father

knows anybody. Our father don't even know anybody.

He only knows us. That God is pushing us far.

No way. You can change the story. You can change

the narrative. You can change everything you

see. Not with another man's words. With his words.

With your words. You are anointed. You have the

spirit of God. Forget about the people you see

from Kenya. Who is from Kenya here? Yes, forget

about all those things you see from Kenya. I

don't know why I'm calling Kenya. Forget about

them. You can do much more for Jesus beyond what

you see young people do there. Forget about it.

Just take hold of these realities that we are

teaching and discussing here, all of us, and

give us some time. Some of them are already speaking

now about your life. Some of them will speak

tomorrow. Some of them are going to see it in

the next one year. Some of them are going to

see it in the next 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10

years to come. But truly we will say, when we

all gather together in this room, the Spirit

of the Lord... actually was working in our hearts

all. Praise God. So, the gifts of prophecy come

to edify. For building. For edification. For

comfort. For what? For exaltation. Praise God.

Hallelujah. So, then expressing the gifts of

prophecy. Expressing the gifts of prophecy. Don't

allow negative people come close to you. Don't

allow negative words, negative statements come

close to you. Always stay, stay, stay, stay,

stay. Declaring God's word as your reality. Praise

God. Expressing the gifts of the Holy Ghost.

So firstly, the gifts of the Holy, which we have

said, the gifts of, okay, firstly, please write

this. When gifts of prophecy are in manifestation,

there is a sense in which That God is speaking,

right? When the gifts of prophecy are in manifestation,

when the gifts of prophecy are in manifestation,

there is a sense in which God is what? Is speaking.

But if God actually is speaking, then we will

not have rights to judge those words. Praise

God. When gifts of prophecy are in manifestation,

there is a sense in which God is what? Is speaking.

But if actually God is the one speaking directly

to us, then we don't have the right to judge

those speakings. Amen? Because it will be literally

His voice speaking through the clouds or some

form of medium. Amen? And if that happens, which

means we can't what? We don't have the right

to do what? To judge it. Don't forget that the

subtopic is expressing the what? The gifts of

the Spirit. Amen? And we cannot judge or question

it because God is speaking through the clouds.

He's speaking through some form of medium. Amen?

So it's God that is speaking. We can't what?

We can't judge it. Secondly, if God actually

were speaking, we will not need any instructions

for the use of the gifts. In 1 Corinthians now.

Amen? If God is actually and literally speaking

to us, then we will not need any instruction

for the use of what? For the use of the gifts

because God will always come down and speak.

I will not need Pastor Victor to speak. I will

not need Pastor Fred to speak. I will not need

you to speak to me. You understand, right? Because

God is speaking. So God is speaking. Why need

anybody and why need any gifts of spirit again?

I don't need gifts of spirit. So he went to speak

and went not to speak because God does not need

any instruction. Amen? So if he is the one speaking,

he will not need any what? Instruction. Went

to silence him and went not to silence him. Praise

God. Thirdly, the gifts of God are perfect. All

the gifts of the Spirit are what? Are perfect.

The Holy Spirit is perfect. But these gifts are

not or are often not perfect in their manifestation.

The gifts of God are perfect. The Holy Spirit

is perfect. But these gifts are often not what?

Perfect in their manifestation. Why? Because

they are manifested through imperfect channels,

men and women. Praise God. These gifts are manifested

through what? imperfect channels. Through what?

Men and women. We're going to talk about them.

So when these deeds are manifested, men and women,

what is happening is that something from our

personality gets mixed with the divine flow.

Praise God. So there's a divine flow. Amen? The

mind of God being revealed. But as the mind of

God is being revealed, it gets mixed up with

our what? With our own personality. Praise God.

So for example, it will be mixed with our minds.

Because when it flows from the Spirit, our mind

understands it. So it will be mixed with our

minds. It will be mixed based on our understanding.

It will be mixed based on our emotions. It will

be mixed based on our maturity in the things

of the Spirit. Hallelujah. Let me say it again.

We say because they are manifested through what?

Through imperfect channels as men and women,

through us. Why? Because when they are in manifestation,

they get mixed with our what? Personality. Because

God will speak through us as vessels. The Spirit

of God will speak through us as what? As His

vessels. Amen? And when He is speaking through

us, the instructions will be lit with our minds,

our understanding, our emotions. Our maturity

in communication and our knowledge of spiritual

things. Hallelujah. Our knowledge of spiritual

things or the things of the Spirit. Hallelujah.

So we must understand something, that when it

comes to the expression of the gifts of the Spirit,

like gifts of the prophecy, God does not put

a premium on ignorance and education. When it

comes to the manifestation of the themes of the

spirit, God does not put a what? A premium on

what? On ignorance or what? Or education because

he is using the vessel that carries his spirit.

He does not put a premium on ignorance or what?

Or education. Pastor Vic, Vic, Victor, this man

is an associate professor. I think what is going

to be happening? he will be flowing like water.

The things will be happening. And then suddenly

now, he will look at somebody now doing undergraduate,

he say, oh, he's doing undergraduate. Even the

undergraduate is not medicine, it's archaeology.

Studying of soil. I think, let him just remain

at tongues and interpretation. No. God does not

put a premium on what? On ignorance or what?

Education, Acts chapter 4, verse 7 to 13. Facts,

Acts 4:7–13

let's read. Acts chapter 4, verse 7 to 13. Then

Acts 4:7–13

Mayoko filled with what? Then Takunda filled

with what? With the Holy Ghost sent unto them.

Ye rulers of people and the elders in Israel,

if we this day be examined of the good deed drawn

to the impotent man. What is the good deeds?

What is the good deed they did to the impotent

man? They healed him. Hallelujah. They healed

him. See what he said. by what means he is made

whole. Be it not unto you all, and to all the

people of Israel, but that by the name of Jesus

Christ of Nazareth, whom they have crucified,

whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth

this man stand before you at home. This is the

stone which was set at the Lord of you builders,

which is become the hair of the corner. Neither

is there salvation in any other. For there is

none other name on that heaven given among men,

where be we must be saved. 13. Now when they

saw the boldness of Peter and what? Fear with

the spirit, boldness. Hallelujah. Fear with the

spirit, what? Boldness. Fear with the spirit,

a display of the gifts of healing. Fear with

the spirit, receive power. Fear with the spirit,

boldness to what? To speak to the rulers. And

see what they said now. And they perceived that

they were what? Unlearned and what? Ignorant

men. They marveled and they took knowledge of

them that they had been studying books. That

they had been with who? The man that is being.

Let me put it this way. The man. I don't know.

This is not a good English. But let me put it

this way. The man that is being. English people

are weaker than me. The man that is being with

Jesus always. Ah, that man can never be termed

an uneducated man. That man can never be termed

an ignorant man. Oh boy, I saw a testimony of

a woman that just attended Rema Bible Institute

in Kaduna. She said she does not know how to

read. She does not know. In fact, even her husband

said that that place is only for educated people.

He was not giving her transport money because

he knows she's going there to waste her time.

She made up her mind to go to Rema Bible Institute.

She registered. She attended. During the graduation,

she was sharing her testimony. She said, it's

from this school that the Holy Spirit opened

her understanding. For the first time, she could

read the Bible and understand the Bible. That

is not there. And she can speak articulate English

language. Her husband has never called her honey.

But because of the miraculous he has seen in

her life, he is calling her honey. I'm using

her sound. And he's not only calling her honey,

he's giving her transfer money. Till the graduation

day. She has been with Jesus. Amen. The man that

is always with Jesus, that man is a supernatural

man. He defies every law of natural. You see,

they took cognizance of them. You know, I went

to check. That word on land, it means agrammatos.

That word on land, in Greek what it means is

agrammatos. A -G -R -A -N -M -A -T -O -S. Grammar.

Grammar. Agrammatos. You're not writing. You're

a worker. Workers are supposed to be writing

and be following. Because now, those gathered

go somewhere in Iskele. Gather ten people that

are demon possessed. You're the one that will

curse them. Agrammatos. Agrammatos means not

formally educated in the scriptures or rabbinical

school. A formal institution. These guys were

not formally educated. You know what we are about

starting this church? Some people told us that

we have not gone to theological school. Number

one. Number two. We are not even married. Number

three. We are just going there to just... Yes.

And we are going to disturb. Is there even a

matured woman among us? No. So we are going to

go and deceive the young ladies. Ladies, have

anyone deceived you here? Okay. You know, we

were laughing about it in the past, right? I

said, at least now, we have ticked one of the

criteria. We are all married. According to the

standards, We are still on agrammatos. Because

there is no any formal theological school that

we have gone. Have your life been the same since

you joined us? All the things you have received

so far, does it look like we are uneducated?

We have been with Jesus. And we are still with

Jesus till we die. Hallelujah. Kai. We will go

all the way with him till we die. And everywhere

we go, people see. We're not here with Jesus.

Nobody. Who cares about my certificates? Jesus.

That I'm head of department. That is associate.

Who cares that you're associate professor? Nobody.

Oh, we know that you are be with who? With Jesus.

And every time you speak, you don't speak in

word only. But you speak in the spirit and power.

With not assurance in the heart of your hearers.

Hallelujah. Rabbinical school. Ignorant in Greek

word means idiot. But the meaning is a layman

or someone without professional or scholarly

status. A layman, right? A layman or someone

without what? Professional or scholarly what?

So they perceive that these guys were nobody

in the society. But they know that they have

been with Jesus. And they've seen and tested

the authority of Jesus. And it's an undeniable

power and authority. Hallelujah. Praise God.

So the person who speaks, the person who speaks,

the person who speaks, the person who speaks

does not mean He or she is not a believer or

is not filled with the Spirit of God. Amen? When

it comes to the expression of the gifts of the

Holy Spirit, the speaker, the person that you

are hearing, right? When he licks those things,

that does not mean that he is a non -believer.

Amen? And that does not mean that he does not

have the Spirit of God. Like I told us, what's

happening is that as the manifestation is coming,

it's mixed with emotions, it can be mixed with

the mind of the person, the maturity of the person,

how the person understands the things of the

Spirit. Amen? Hallelujah. So that is why we must

give so much emphasis to the teaching of God's

words. Because so that the man that is speaking,

now he has been taught and trained in the word

of faith much more, much more, much more, much

more. When the manifestation is coming now, it

can be felt that well. Hallelujah. Because now

you are taught and you are trained that the gifts

of prophecy and the gifts of the Holy Ghost,

when they come, is to build, right? So, because

you have been taught and trained and you are

now mature or you are maturing, as the manifestation

is coming, you know how to now pass it so that

there will be a building. Praise God. Hallelujah.

Do we understand? Yes. So, expressing the gifts

of what? The gifts of prophecy. So, we need the

operation of the gifts of prophecy in our congregation.

We need everything God has provided for us. But

we need to follow the instructions of God for

the proper use of the gift. Praise God. 1 Corinthians

14, 26. He said, let all things be done unto

a divine. 1 Corinthians 14, 26. 1 Corinthians

14, 26. See what the scripture says. Very fast.

See what it says. Hi, brethren. Hi, brethren.

When you come together, every one of you had

a psalm, had a doctrine, had a tongue, had a

revelation, had an interpretation. Let all things

be drawn unto what? Edifying. Hallelujah. The

aim of the expression is to what? To edify. Even

as it's mixing with your mind, edification. As

it's mixing with your emotions, edification.

As it's mixing whether you have a bad day or

you have a good day, the aim is to what? Is to

edify. Hallelujah. Praise God. Hallelujah. So

although, We may be inspired to speak. We may

have a message in tongues or interpretation of

tongues or a word of prophecy. It is not always

wise to just jump into it. Because the aim is

to edify. The aim is not just to bubble up. Praise

God. It's not just to what? Bubble up words.

The aim is to what? Is to edify. Let me say this

now as it's coming to my heart. Then as a believer,

we need to be cheerful how we communicate. the

instructions of God to our hearers. We must be

careful. Our words build. We must be careful

how we communicate. So the manifestation and

the expression of the gifts of the prophecy are

a product of both God and man. The manifestation

of the expression or the expression of the gifts

of the prophecy are what? Are a product of both

what? Divine and what? And human. God and man.

So God will lead me to edify somebody. Hallelujah.

God will lead me to build what? To build someone.

Praise God. So nowhere in the Bible does it say

that the Holy Spirit ever talked with tongues.

Nowhere. Instead, we read that the Holy Spirit,

what? Gives you utterance and you are the one

that do the talking. Praise God. Hallelujah.

Nowhere that the Holy Ghost is the one that is

doing the healing directly. But the Holy Ghost

has the power to heal his way. It's in us. Who

does the healing? In my name, yes, I'll do it.

Lay hands on what? On the sea. Praise God. So

the power of loss, we read Acts chapter 4, 29,

does stretch from your hands and heal. How Jesus

stretched out his hands? Through my hands. Hallelujah.

So as the manifestation of the feats of the Spirit

are happening, they are happening through who?

They are happening through who? They are happening

through me. Hallelujah. Write this down there.

I must strive to daily become better in the things

of the Spirit. For more edification, I must strive

to get better at what? At the things of the Spirit.

I must strive to get better in the study of God's

Word. I must strive to get better in the place

of prayer. I must strive to get better in the

place of preaching the Word. I must strive to

get better. I must strive to do what? to get

better. We pray something that our brother led

us. One of the things we pray that he would,

we should stay what? We should stay fresh. Ah,

the man that is always fresh, the man that is

always boiling hot with the themes of the spirit,

oh boy, he is limitless when it comes to building

others. Everywhere you go, you bring so much

edification to your hearers. Praise God. Hallelujah.

So right is lastly now. Having said all these

things, prophecy is a result of merging the divine

and the human. Prophecy, prophecy is a result

of merging the divine and what? And the human.

1 Timothy 4 verse 14. We've read it a couple

of times here. Neglect not the gift that is in

thee. Prophecy is a result of merging of the

divine and the human. 1 Timothy 4 .14 Neglect

not the gift that is what? That is in thee, which

was given thee by the prophecy, with the laying

on of the hands of the what? Presbytery. Praise

God. Who is the one not to neglect? Who is the

one not to neglect? Me. Hallelujah. 1 Timothy

4 .6 again. Sorry, 1 .6. Wherefore I put thee

in remembrance that thou stir up the gifts of

God, which is in what? In thee. Who does the

stirring? Who does the speaking? Who does the

tongues and interpretation? Who does the laying

of hands? Who does the one that gives the gifts

of the word of wisdom, the word of knowledge?

Casting out devils. Who's the one? I do it. Hallelujah.

Praise God. So in essence now, when it comes

to the expression now of the things of the spirit,

God needs you for the manifestation of the gifts

of prophecy. Hallelujah. But God does not need

you to be the way you are always. He will always

need you to grow unto maturity. Amen. Hallelujah.

Because as the gifts are perfect, the Holy Ghost

is perfect, the manifestations are perfect, they

are going to move and flow through who? Through

me. Hallelujah. So every day I must stay refined.

tongues. Because I want when the gift is manifested,

prophecy? How to judge prophecy? I'm going to

list it. I will list it and then list the scriptures

received, whether it is genuine and edifying

or not. I'm going to repeat it. Diacrino, which

that the gifts of prophecy are God's words, But

they are coming through what? Through fallible

human vessels. So therefore, there is an instruction

for us to be able to what? To weigh them carefully.

I remember, you remember the first prayers we

had, the 14 -hour retreat we had. One brother

came in. And then Yurman Papa Saulu told us that

we should not allow him to prophesy. Because

if we allow him to prophesy, he's going to say

something. The people that were around, they

know what I'm talking about. I know when we gave

him opportunity to speak. He said he sees Zimbabwean

currency getting better. So when we came, we

now started correcting what he's saying. Maybe

he needs this. Maybe he needs that. Amen? Often

we're going to do it now in the next minutes.

Don't be afraid to give the instructions. Don't

worry, there will be people in your group that

are going to say what actually that instruction

is by the Spirit. Amen? Hallelujah. See if you

get better at it. Amen? Number one, write it.

Prophecy is primarily speaking unto men to edification,

exhortation, and comfort. So first, we must judge

that is what? Is edifying, is building. Number

Is it in conformity with the scriptures? Prophecy

So question. Does God get scared? Does He conform

with the Scriptures? Does He agree with the Scriptures?

But you know, some people can receive it and

say, Oh God, don't be scared. We will not be

scared. I'm telling you. Does He conform? Does

He agree with the Scriptures? 2 Peter 1 .21 2

The gift of prophecy is not to be used merely

They want to predict who wins the UEFA Champions

League. A lady met me. She came and met me and

said, please, there are two guys and pastor,

can you pray? Real, I'm telling you real. Can

you pray? I want to know whether the man is my

husband. I said, why do I need to pray? She said,

because she came to the house during weekend

and she saw the clothes of another lady. And

the cleaner told her that the lady has been there

for two weeks. I asked her, have you been having

sex with him? She said, yes. I said, he's not

your husband. Straight. She said, even my mother

has endorsed him. I said, even if your mother

has endorsed him, I don't need to pray about

it. He's not your husband and you're not his

wife. They never liked this statement. She left

and never came till today. I don't know. I think

I deleted her number too from my phone. Praise

God. You want to satisfy curiosity about the

future. Should I pick the husband? He see my

husband. He see my wife. They already having

feelings for him. Why do you want me to know?
