-
designed to uplift and strengthen you in your
-
walk with God. Don't miss out. Stay with us until
-
the end for a rewarding experience. Let's dive
-
right in. That there will be direction by the
-
Spirit of God. Hallelujah. I believe that there
-
will be clarity by the Spirit of God. Amen. I
-
believe that our ears are not only open, but
-
we listen to the voice of the Father. I believe
-
that our eyes are not only open, but we see what
-
the Father is showing us. Hallelujah. Because
-
the spirit of revelation and wisdom is at work
-
in our hearts this morning. Amen. Hallelujah.
-
For we know all the things that have been freely
-
given to us in Christ Jesus. We don't only know
-
them. But we also acknowledge all of them. Hallelujah.
-
Praise God. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
-
Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Praise God. Praise God.

1 Corinthians chapter 12. 1 Corinthians chapter
1 Corinthians 12 chapter mention 1 Corinthians 12 chapter mention
-
12. We are just going to read from verse 8 to
-
10. For to one is given by the Spirit the word
-
of wisdom, to another the word of knowledge by
-
the same Spirit, to another faith by the same
-
Spirit, to another the gifts of healing by the
-
same Spirit, to another the working of miracles,
-
to another prophecy, to another discerning of
-
Spirit, to another diverse kinds of tongues,
-
to another the what? The interpretation of what?
-
Of tongues. Let's just end at 11 then. But all
-
these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit,
-
dividing to every man severally, as what? As
-
he will. Praise God. Hallelujah. So this morning
-
we are discussing revelational gifts. Revelational
-
gifts. Not the gifts of the Spirit. We are looking
-
at revelational what? Revelational gifts. And
-
today we'll just look at the word of knowledge.
-
You can write the word of knowledge. Where we
-
read in verse 8, it says, So we'll look at the
-
word of what? Of knowledge. So revelational gifts,
-
the word of what? The word of knowledge. Are
-
we all here? Praise God. Hallelujah. So what
-
are revelational gifts? We are starting. What
-
are revelational gifts? What are revelational
-
gifts? These are gifts. By the Spirit that relate
-
to perceiving spiritual entities and activities.
-
These are gifts by the Holy Spirit that relate
-
to what? That relate to perceiving spiritual
-
entities and what? And activities. If you remember
-
when we started this series, right? I remember
-
vividly telling us that revelational gifts, they
-
are gifts that see. They know, they perceive
-
and hear things by the Spirit. Amen. These gifts
-
they do what? They see. Amen. They know, they
-
perceive and hear things by what? By the Holy
-
Spirit. Amen. So what are revelational gifts?
-
They are gifts that what? That they see. They
-
are relating to what? To seeing, to hearing,
-
to knowing, to perceiving things by the Holy
-
Spirit. Praise God. So the Holy Spirit speaks
-
something to us. Amen. So we either see it or
-
we do what? Or we hear it or we what? Or we know
-
it. So suddenly you just tell somebody, I don't
-
know, but I just know. If you are not well taught,
-
you say, I just feel something. inside me is
-
saying that this is the direction you should
-
take. Hallelujah. Yes, you just know. You perceive,
-
you just know. You get into a place and then
-
somebody now is demonically possessed and then
-
you just say, you know, Tiki, I think this guy,
-
there's something just off about him. But don't
-
worry, we'll confirm it. Let's just get into
-
the place of the meeting. So, revelational gifts
-
are what? Gifts that are relating to what? To
-
seeing, to hearing, to perceiving, and to what?
-
To knowing by the Holy Spirit. Hallelujah. So,
-
there are three of them, which we just read in
-
1 Corinthians 12. The word of knowledge, the
-
word of wisdom, and then discerning of spirits.
-
It's not discernment of spirits. Discerning of
-
what? Of spirits. There's a reason for that because
-
we are coming to it. Word of knowledge. Word
-
of wisdom. Discerning of what? Of spirits. So,
-
revelational gifts, when they are in operation,
-
they deal with insight into facts. That is, Seeing
-
into facts, knowing into facts, perceiving facts
-
about people, places, events and things. This
-
gives when they are in operation, they deal with
-
inside into facts. That is seeing into facts,
-
knowing into facts, perceiving facts about people,
-
about places, about events or what? All things.
-
Praise God. Hallelujah. By the Spirit of God.
-
Amen. Revelational gifts are not prior knowledge
-
gifts. They are not what? They are not prior
-
knowledge what? Gifts. No. The Holy Spirit gives
-
me insight on the spur of the moment. Information
-
that I don't know about you, the Spirit of the
-
Lord tells me when? Now. Information about events
-
I don't know about, the Spirit of the Lord tells
-
me about them when? Now. Information about locations
-
that I don't know about, and the Spirit of the
-
Lord tells me about them when? Now. Praise God.
-
They reveal. Hallelujah. Amen. So if you observe,
-
the scripture says, it calls it the word of knowledge
-
is not the gift of knowledge. The word of knowledge
-
is definite. It's not what? The gift of knowledge.
-
The word of knowledge is not the gift of knowledge.
-
There's no such thing as spiritual gift of knowledge.
-
Amen. Yes, we're going to build on it. However,
-
there's a spiritual gift called what? The word
-
of what? Knowledge. Praise God. Given by the
-
Spirit of God to the believer. Amen? So, the
-
word of knowledge is a supernatural revelation
-
by the Holy Ghost about these certain facts from
-
the mind of God. Amen? The word of knowledge
-
is what? is the supernatural revelation of facts
-
from the mind of God to the believer. This is
-
important. It's a supernatural revelation by
-
the Holy Ghost of certain facts from the what?
-
From the mind of who? Mind of God. Amen. So now,
-
and that word of knowledge is a fragment of God's
-
knowledge. This is important. So God will tell
-
you things that are happening about people, about
-
places, about events that you have never known.
-
Nobody around know about it. Amen. So the spirit
-
of God tells you because God is about doing something
-
or God is doing something or he has done something
-
about the matter. That is why that is received
-
from the Holy Ghost. Amen. Yes, because that
-
matter is already handled or is going to be handled.
-
Amen. And God has to bring the facts out. Praise
-
God. This is important. Amen. So it may not be
-
spectacular. Praise God. It may not be what?
-
Spectacular. It may just be casual. It may just
-
be there. So something happened yesterday in
-
the evening. As I was still preparing, the thought
-
of one brother, they visited us here a couple
-
of weeks ago, just passed by my mind. I said,
-
ah, these people, I remember they visited us,
-
so what an amazing time that they came. Just
-
a thought. Guess what? In less than two minutes,
-
it's not up to two minutes, his text message
-
came into my phone. In fact, before the message
-
came in, I said, why is this brother's thoughts
-
coming? Is it that I should pray for him? I've
-
already started probing why randomly. We rarely
-
talk, but randomly just the thoughts just came.
-
So the first question, I think whether Pastor
-
Chidi thought here or Pastor Victor or Pastor
-
Fred, is that when thoughts of people just flood
-
your mind, instead of saying, no, no, no, no,
-
do what? Pray. If you don't have the idea about
-
anything, do what? Pray. Learn this. Once a thought
-
of a person, of a place, events, facts, that
-
normally you will not have access to, will just
-
flood your mind, the first posture you should
-
take about them is to what? Is to pray. Hallelujah.
-
We're in a meeting in Girne, and then we're asked
-
to pray in a prophetic activation. They were
-
teaching us about the things of the Spirit. And
-
I remember vividly, we prayed, we prayed. I don't
-
know because he didn't share with us. It's not
-
a matter he will share with us. It has nothing
-
to do with us because we will not sponsor him.
-
We will not help him in any way. But he said,
-
okay, everybody should receive a word here for
-
everybody. You know, in the midst of it. And
-
I told him, the word I received is that I see
-
you have something that has to do with moving
-
to France. Moving to Europe. Right? So after
-
we finished, he was looking at me and smiling.
-
You know, he said, ah, Kostin, you messed up.
-
You know, that kind of. He said, Kostin, how
-
did you know about it? Where, particularly in
-
Europe? I said, sir, I don't have more information.
-
But you see, I've grown now. If it's now, I will
-
not do the thing that stopped me. If it's now,
-
ah, we'll give him the location. Hallelujah.
-
Praise God. I will do something, but they say
-
I should not do it again. My management have
-
erased that part. But you know, that information
-
is not the information that all of us in that
-
place know about. Amen? But by the Spirit of
-
God, it came there. Hallelujah. Most of the information
-
that you get here by the Spirit of God that say,
-
give him a word. Give him a word. Give him a
-
word. This is where we are going to dwell on
-
them. Revelational gifts. And I say, you know,
-
some people can just be amazing. First, when
-
they give you the word, you look at the person
-
first from head to toe, sizing. One. Two, you
-
now look, who is his friend in this church? Because
-
this information, maybe it has started circulating.
-
You say, ah, the last time I think I told Pastor
-
Fred. But this guy is not close to Pastor Fred.
-
Could it be that my information now from Pastor
-
Fred is moving around? Focus on what you are
-
receiving because Jesus is helping your life.
-
You are concerned about your image, concerned
-
about whether who spoke to who or who. We don't
-
know anything about you. Because the one we know
-
about you, we have been fighting with you about
-
it. So this one that we don't know, that the
-
Spirit of God is making bear, because he wants
-
to do something about it. Amen. You see, there's
-
something that you wrote there. It does not have
-
to be spectacular. I could just be talking with
-
Pastor Victor. I could just be talking with Pastor
-
Victor. Boom. He say, Bishop, have you thought
-
of this and this? I say, ah, who told this man
-
this thing? He say, what's coming to my heart
-
regarding it is this, this, this, this, this,
-
and this. It will be a witness with my spirit.
-
Because I didn't share it with him. I didn't
-
share it with his wife. I didn't share it with
-
anybody. And for him to say it now on the spur
-
of the moment, it has to be by the Spirit of
-
God. Dear brethren, let's learn this. Activities
-
of the Spirit of God in the believer are true.
-
Hallelujah. Amen. They are what? They are true.
-
So the word of knowledge is not a revelation
-
of what will happen in the future, but a revelation
-
of what has happened or what is happening now.
-
The word of knowledge, please write it because
-
we're going to do word of knowledge, we're going
-
to do word of wisdom, and we're going to do designing
-
of spirits. And then we will give all balance
-
to it. So when something comes to you, when an
-
information comes to your mind and you are speaking
-
it to the person, you already know this is the
-
word of knowledge. This is the word of wisdom.
-
This must be discerning of what? Of spirits.
-
Praise God. Amen. So far, so good. Are we clear?
-
Praise God. So, the word of knowledge is not
-
a revelation of facts or information that will
-
happen in the future. Rather, revelation of what
-
has happened in the past or what is happening
-
now in the present. The word of knowledge is
-
not a revelation of facts or information about
-
things that will happen where? In the future.
-
Rather, they are revelation of facts, of information,
-
of things that have already what? Things that
-
has happened in the past or things that are happening
-
when? Now. Why are they happening now? To build
-
faith. To build faith. To build faith. One, to
-
bring the truth of God's knowledge regarding
-
the matter. To build faith, to bring the truth
-
of God's knowledge regarding the matter. To preserve.
-
To preserve. To correct. And to confirm God's
-
word to the recipient. Let me say it again. What
-
has happened or is happening to build faith,
-
to bring the truth of God's knowledge, to preserve,
-
to correct and to confirm God's word to the recipient.
-
Hallelujah. You've been praying about a matter.
-
You've been praying about a matter. You've been
-
praying about it. You know, one of these meetings
-
we had in Orange Hall, a lady struggled to come
-
to church that Wednesday. Then we used to meet
-
on Tuesday. And then she came to the meeting.
-
And she didn't only struggle because she had
-
a bad knee, right? And she came to that meeting.
-
So during the message, the message was going
-
on. And then the Spirit of the Lord gave a word
-
that there's a lady who came here. You're seated
-
on this side. You have a bad knee. Who is the
-
person? Boom, she stood up, right? And then hands
-
were laid on her. You know, the next meeting,
-
she didn't actually tell us this. All this information
-
I'm saying came after. Amen. So, and then the
-
next meeting, she came with her knee. In fact,
-
she said as she was reaching home, the pain was
-
gone. Totally gone. So the next time we met,
-
that was when she said, actually that day, she
-
struggled to come to the meeting. She said, okay,
-
let her carry herself. Just be there. Hallelujah.
-
There was no how we would have known that there
-
was somebody in that hall with a bad knee because
-
everybody walked in. Yeah, no wheelchair, no
-
crutches. Everybody walked in. Everybody sat
-
down. Everybody prays. Everybody was laughing.
-
Everybody is smiling. Please, as the teaching
-
is going on, pay attention to the Holy Spirit
-
because the Spirit of God is bringing instructions
-
to your heart. For people, for this local church,
-
to people far away from here also. Amen? And
-
she now said that these are the things that happened.
-
She came that day, you know, she was called out,
-
hands were laid on her, and then the pain left.
-
Hallelujah. Something that is happening when?
-
Now, praise God. So the word of knowledge is
-
given to us to guide the believer, but it is
-
not the guidance itself because the spirit of
-
the Lord is the guide. Amen. So the word of the
-
knowledge is given to the believer to do what?
-
To guide the believer. Why? Because it unveils
-
the knowledge of God to the human mind via the
-
Spirit. To guide the believer because what? It
-
unveils the knowledge of God to the human mind
-
through the Spirit. And this will happen so that
-
the believer can learn how to minister effectively.
-
Amen? so that the believer can learn how to minister
-
what? Effectively. Praise God. So out of God's
-
counsel, out of God's knowledge, God will now,
-
through the Spirit, impart that knowledge to
-
us about facts, about people, about events, about
-
locations. Amen? Yes. We're going to come...
-
to discuss on how these things flow through us.
-
So now, write this, the word. The word. The word.
-
The phrase, the word, is translated from the
-
Greek word logos. The phrase, the word, is from
-
the Greek word what? Logos. So far so good. Do
-
we know the definition of the word of knowledge?
-
Do we know the definition of the word of knowledge?
-
Amen? Good. So, the word is a phrase translated
-
from the Greek word, what? Logos. And the meaning
-
of logos is an account, an idea, summation of
-
an idea, mindset. The meaning of logos is an
-
account, an idea, summation of an idea, mindset.
-
And then the word knowledge. The word knowledge
-
is translated from the Greek word gnosis, G -N
-
-O -S -I -S. Logos is L -O -G -O -S. Gnosis is
-
G -N -O -S -I -S. G -N -O -S -I -S. It refers
-
to an experience. It refers to an experience.
-
And it's from the root word ginosko. G -I -N
-
-O -S. K -O, ginosko, which means to learn, to
-
know, to come to know, and to understand. Gnosis
-
or G -N -O -S -I -S, right? An experience. From
-
the root word ginosko, which means to learn,
-
to come to know, to come to understand. Amen?
-
Praise God. So, we have logos and we have experience.
-
Amen? So, what is happening is that the Spirit
-
of God will bring a knowing to the mind of the
-
believer, right? From the knowledge of God. Hallelujah.
-
So, he will bring an information. He will bring
-
an idea. He will bring, you know, an essence
-
from the mind of God to the believer. Praise
-
God. So, the believer now is what? His faith
-
is built up. Amen? He has a guide now. He has
-
help now. Amen? Hallelujah. So in other words
-
now, in other words, we can say now, we are moving
-
now from the definition now, finally. In other
-
words, we can say this now, that the word of
-
knowledge will imply to have divinely granted
-
knowledge. It will imply to have what? Divinely
-
granted knowledge. Divinely granted knowledge
-
into the knowledge of God. Divinely granted knowledge
-
into the knowledge of God about people, about
-
places, about events. So, for example, yesterday,
-
I was, was it yesterday? This morning, I was
-
scrolling a page on the Instagram. And I thank
-
God he's here. Amen. And I saw that brother on
-
the cap, the one with the yellow cap. I saw one
-
of his pictures. And I just felt that this morning,
-
if he comes, let me pray with him. Praise God.
-
I'm saying this one, I'm saying it real now.
-
What happened? Praise God. If you ask me, why
-
should I pray with him? I don't know. What I
-
know is that I have received an information and
-
by practice daily, I know this is not ordinary
-
in my heart. Praise God. But when we meet and
-
then we talk and we pray, we will have what?
-
A direction why that came. Hallelujah. Praise
-
God. Hallelujah. Amen. Are we all here? Yes.
-
So divinely granted what? Divinely granted knowledge.
-
Praise God. Hallelujah. So now, the word of knowledge.
-
What the word of knowledge is not. Write this
-
now. What the word of knowledge is not. What
-
the word of knowledge is what? Is not. So the
-
word of knowledge is not a natural knowledge.
-
The word of knowledge is not a what? A natural
-
knowledge. For example, now I've been with, we've
-
been with the pastors now for like, me, let me
-
talk about myself. I've been with them for 11
-
years, getting to 12 years. We've been together,
-
right? Pastor Chidi has been with Pastor Fred
-
more than myself and a few others too. Pastor
-
Emma, right? All the information I know about
-
them, there is still an information that the
-
Spirit of God will give me regarding what is
-
happening currently. with them that they have
-
not what? Yet spoken to me. Praise God. It could
-
be, let's even say, it could be that there is
-
a matter on ground and they are praying and they
-
are praying. Or there is something that needs
-
to be fixed. And yet they have not what? Informed
-
me. So the fact that I have a knowledge, natural
-
knowledge about them for this number of years,
-
right? That does not mean that that is the word
-
of what? Knowledge. We've practiced it several
-
times during Catartismos and during Prayer Cruise,
-
where we gather in groups and say minister to
-
one another. And you know, in the midst of I'm
-
saying what is happening in our own group, the
-
pastors, I don't know what happens in your group,
-
right? But in our group, you now realize that
-
when the word is coming, it's like, ah, how?
-
How did you get this thing now? Because this
-
is the current matter now. Let me put it this
-
way. Current news. This is what is happening
-
on the spot now. It has to be by the Spirit of
-
God. So you could just write this. Learn to always
-
trust the voice of the Holy Spirit in your heart.
-
The Holy Spirit will never lead the believer
-
astray. In fact, the Holy Spirit is yearning
-
always to lead you to places where you are preserved.
-
Just pay attention, pay attention, pay attention
-
to the voice and the leading of the Spirit of
-
God in your heart. So the word of knowledge is
-
not natural knowledge or sense knowledge or intellectual
-
knowledge. It's not. The word of knowledge is
-
not what? Natural knowledge or sense knowledge
-
or what? Intellectual knowledge. It's not. Why?
-
Because the word of knowledge is a supernatural
-
manifestation of the Spirit of God. It's a supernatural
-
what? Manifestation of the Spirit of God. And
-
if the word of knowledge is supernatural, then
-
all other gifts are also what? Supernatural.
-
They cannot be natural. Hallelujah. So if the
-
word of knowledge is a natural knowledge, then
-
what we are saying is that the gift of healing
-
is a natural healing that you go to the hospital
-
and the doctors see you and then they treat you.
-
Praise God. So the word of knowledge is not that.
-
It's a supernatural manifestation of what? Of
-
the Spirit of God through the believer. Hallelujah.
-
Praise God. It's not those kind of knowledge
-
that we've learned in the classroom. It's not
-
biomedical engineering. It's not medical biochemistry.
-
It's not international relation. No, it's not.
-
It's having access into the purposes of God for
-
the believer. Into the events that God wants
-
to be established now in the believer. Praise
-
God. Hallelujah. The word of knowledge is not
-
a profound knowledge of the Bible. The word of
-
knowledge is not what? A profound knowledge of
-
what? Of the Bible. You remember when we were
-
ending the teachings, you know, on the all trans
-
gifts, I said something that when it comes to
-
all trans gifts, God does not place premium priority
-
on the education of the receiver. Amen? But you
-
see, when it comes to the knowledge of his word,
-
God does not use foolish people and ignorant
-
people that don't know his word. God places priority
-
on the knowledge of his word. You will see Paul
-
will admonish Timothy, study, study, study, continue
-
in it, continue in it. He will tell Joshua to
-
meditate on it. How? Day and night. God is always
-
interested in his children understanding his
-
heart. And how can we know his heart, his ways?
-
Through where? Through his word. However, the
-
word of knowledge is not the knowledge of what?
-
Of the Bible. That I've read Genesis from 1 to
-
Revelation, the last part. Alpha and I end in
-
Omega. Does not mean that is what? The word of
-
knowledge. I wrote something here. However, the
-
scriptures validates the word of knowledge when
-
it comes. So, through the scriptures, we judge
-
the word of knowledge when it comes. Hallelujah.
-
This is a huge balance. So, that is why the believer
-
ought to study the Bible. You must study. You
-
must study. So that when you go out there, you
-
don't meet one Babalao and then the Babalao uses
-
you and shine. Or Satan will appear to you in
-
sheep or lamb's clothing, you know, and then
-
give you a word and he said, this must be of
-
God. He did that to Jesus. If truly you are the
-
son of God, turn this stone into what? Into bricks.
-
You don't know the word, you will turn it into
-
a bakery house. You will prove a point. No. We
-
judge the word of knowledge through the scriptures.
-
So the knowledge of the scriptures is important
-
for the believer. In fact, let me say it this
-
way as it's coming to my heart. All the gifts
-
of the spirit of God, the knowledge of God's
-
word is important to judge. All of them. Hallelujah.
-
Praise God. The word of knowledge is not the
-
knowledge of God through experience. So please,
-
the last portion I gave us, please, can you write
-
this scripture about Paul admonishing Timothy
-
to study? The knowledge of God is a profound
-
knowledge of the Bible. 2 Timothy 2 verse 15.
-
He said, study to show yourself what? Yes, study.
-
Be diligent at it. Give yourselves to it. So
-
the knowledge, the word of knowledge is not a
-
knowledge of what? Of God through experience.
-
Can we read 1 Samuel, everybody? 1 Samuel. I
-
think we read it here a couple of weeks, maybe
-
last week. I think either our brother Kola read
-
it or so, or he mentioned it, one of it. Let's
-
go to 1 Samuel, everybody, chapter 3. 1 Samuel,
1 Samuel 3 chapter mention
-
chapter 3. Let's read verse 1. The Lord called
-
Samuel and he answered, Here am I. And he ran
-
on to Eli and said, Here am I, for thou callest
-
me. And he said, I called not. Lie down again.
-
And he went and lay down. And the Lord called
-
yet again Samuel. And Samuel arose and went to
-
Eli and said, Here am I, for thou didst call
-
me. And he said, I call not my son. Lie down
-
again. Now Samuel did not yet know the Lord,
-
neither was the word of the Lord yet what? revealed
-
to him. And the Lord called Samuel again the
-
third time, and he arose and went to Eli and
-
said, Here am I, for thou didst call me. And
-
Eli perceived that what? That the Lord had what?
-
Experience. Eli didn't hear the Lord call Samuel.
-
He did what? Perceived. He is a prophet. He has
-
been with God. He has known. When this thing
-
is happening like this. It is God that is doing
-
it. Praise God. And he told him something now.
-
Therefore Eli 9 said unto Samuel. Go what? Lie
-
down. And it shall be. If what? If he call thee
-
that thou shall what? Say. Speak Lord. For thy
-
servant what? Hear it. So Samuel went and lay
-
down in what? In his place. Then, and the Lord
-
came and stood and called us the other times.
-
Samuel, Samuel, then Samuel answered and said
-
what? Speak, for thy servant what? Hear it. Practical
-
experience. The word of knowledge is not what?
-
Is not experience. The fact that you have had
-
a dealing with God about a matter does not mean
-
that that is how God will deal with every other
-
person about the matter. Praise God. I got a
-
word of wisdom about a thing. We're going to
-
talk about word of wisdom. That's why I'm specifically
-
using it now. I got a word of wisdom about a
-
thing. And then now that thing came with instruction
-
and I have to do them. Amen. And then suddenly
-
now you met me and then you say, sir, this is,
-
this is, this is. Huh? That last time it was
-
16 hours closed doors. And 21 days prayers. And
-
then with one week of worship. And then the guy
-
just leaves. And then goes. Do 16 hours closed
-
doors. Do 21 days. Right? And then 7 days worship.
-
And then the thing did not change. God didn't
-
speak. You spoke. So the word of knowledge is
-
not what? An experiential information that you
-
are bringing. Please pay attention that this
-
manifestation or operation happens on the spot
-
of the moment. I don't know you, you don't know
-
me, or I know you, you know me, but I don't have
-
access to the information. There was just no
-
how I could have access to it. Praise God. So
-
the word of knowledge is not that kind of knowledge.
-
So now, what the word of knowledge is? What the
-
word of knowledge what? Is. What the word of
-
knowledge is? 1 Samuel chapter 9. So from here
1 Samuel 9 chapter mention
-
now, we're going to run through scriptures upon
-
scriptures upon scriptures upon scriptures. Amen?
-
To establish this background for us. Praise God.
-
So we know what the word of knowledge is, right?
-
We know what the word of knowledge is not, right?
-
Good. So we will look at now scriptures upon
-
scriptures to establish this truth about what
-
the word of knowledge is for the believer. Praise
-
God. And please don't forget. All the manifestations,
-
all the gifts of the Holy Ghost is not... What's
-
the word now? Okay, let me put it this way. Has
-
been in operation before the New Testament. Let
-
me put that context so that it will be much more
-
clear for us. Amen? All the what? All the gifts
-
of the Spirit aside tongues. and interpretation
-
of tongues has been in operation before the New
-
Testament. I have a reason why I'm saying the
-
New Testament. Praise God. So what I'm saying
-
in simple terms is that all the gifts of the
-
Holy Ghost aside tongues and interpretation of
-
tongues has been in operation even in the Old
-
Testament. Hallelujah. Praise God. And don't
-
forget, these gifts are in operation where the
-
Spirit of God is also in operation. Hallelujah.
-
Amen. Amen. Good. So, we needed to say that now.
-
So, what the word of knowledge is. 1 Samuel chapter
1 Samuel 9 chapter mention
-
9. 1 Samuel chapter 9. 1 Samuel chapter 9. We're
1 Samuel 9 chapter mention 1 Samuel 9 chapter mention
-
going to read verse 3. Well, let's start reading
-
from verse 1. Now there was a man of Benjamin
-
whose name was Kish, the son of Abel, the son
-
of Zeror, the son of Bekorat, the son of Aphia,
-
a Benjamite, a mighty man of power. And he had
-
a son whose name was Saul, a choice young man
-
and a goodly. And there was not among the children
-
of Israel a goodlier person than he. From his
-
shoulders and upward he was higher than any of
-
what? Of the people. Verse 3, everybody. And
-
the asses of Kish, Saul's father, were lost.
-
And Kish said to Saul, his son, Take now one
-
of the servants with thee, and arise, go seek
-
the what? Seek the asses. Verse 6. Now, let's
-
go now. Let's keep reading. And he passed through
-
Mount Ephraim and passed through the land of...
-
And five now. Verse six. And he said unto him,
-
Behold, now there is in this city a who? A man
-
of God, and he is what? An honorable man, all
-
that he said, does what? Surely to pass. Now
-
let us go thither, but eventually he can show
-
us our way that we shall what? We shall go. Sharp
-
guys. Don't allow over familiarity deprive you
-
from receiving from your brothers and sisters,
-
from your wife, from your husband, from your
-
children. Praise God. Hallelujah. See now, let's
-
go to verse 15, everybody. Now the Lord has told
-
Samuel in his ear a day before Saul came, saying,
-
16. Assis, right? God is telling Samuel what?
-
About a man that he should anoint. Did God tell
-
Samuel that this young man went out to look for
-
Assis? You see? So, from God's mind, God is revealing
-
something. Amen? So, there was no prior information
-
to all these activities. Saul and his servants
-
are somewhere. Samuel is in another place and
-
God is revealing this information. Amen? Very
-
important. Then now, see now, verse 19. Verse
-
19, now let's go. And Samuel answered Saul and
-
said, I am the seer. Go up before me unto the
-
high place, for ye shall eat with me today, and
-
tomorrow I will do what? I will let thee go and
-
will tell thee all that is what in thy heart.
-
C20 everybody now. And as for thy what? That
-
were how many days? Precise. Can you see? Set
-
not thy mind where? On them. For what? They are
-
found. Is Samuel where these things are found?
-
No. They are just in Samuel's house. Eating and
-
drinking because a big event is happening. But
-
information is happening when? Now, on the spur
-
of the moment. He is telling him that the asses
-
that were lost three days before you guys, you
-
know, took off and then to this place, these
-
asses have been what? Have been found. And see
-
now, and on whom is all the desire of Israel?
-
Is it not on thee and on all thy what? So Samuel
-
is concerned about what God had what? Had told
-
him regarding what? However, I'm going to say
-
something here and then we'll continue on Wednesday.
-
However, right? God has orchestrated that Samuel
-
is going to be anointed. Amen. Hallelujah. But
-
now, through the means of the lost asses. We
-
see now Samuel meeting the man of God and then
-
now that which God has in his mind is now what?
-
Established. Hallelujah. So now, sometimes and
-
often when you start receiving a word of knowledge,
-
it may not start out coming to you spectacular.
-
God, said his spirit is upon you. He's called
-
you to Zimbabwe. You're going to do this. You're
-
going to, a doctor is already looking at me.
-
I hope this word that he's saying, I will not
-
be in Zimbabwe. Let me go to this side. You know,
-
and then, you know, this is this, this is that.
-
It may not start out that way. Do you know it
-
may start out as simple as, how are you? Have
-
you eaten today? What did you eat today? He said,
-
oh, so, you know. What did you eat? He said,
-
ah, sir, actually, I have not eaten. Ah, you
-
have not eaten? But look at the way you are dressed
-
now. You are even looking like a big boy. Everybody
-
is smiling. He said, ah, sir, forget this, you
-
know. You know, I'm a small boy here. But you
-
know, it didn't start out spectacularly. There
-
was nothing. But the man that is speaking already
-
has received an information. That this man, there's
-
a need in his life for this, this, this, this,
-
this, this, this, this, this. Amen? And then
-
suddenly now, in the midst of the discussion
-
and the rest, and then now, you say, what? This
-
happened, this happened, this happened, this
-
happened last week. Because you did this, you
-
did this, you did this, and this and this. And
-
then now you now say, first, I know you will
-
hear me well now. But let's go, I will buy kebab
-
for you first. When you eat, let here be handled.
-
Amen? You have solved one need. The asses have
-
been what? Found. The food has been found. So
-
the man will now eat. When he eats, yes. And
-
then now, the instruction that has been received
-
from God regarding what God wants to use him
-
to do. will now what? Will now be unveiled to
-
him. Praise God. Can we rise to our feet? Until
-
next time, stay blessed.
