The Gifts of the Spirit pt 16: Revelational Gifts - The Word of Knowledge

right in. Yes, so on Sunday we started the other

last part of the gifts of the Spirit. That is

revelational gifts. Right. And we started with

word of knowledge, the word of knowledge. Praise

God. And this is important because, you know,

word of knowledge is an instruction. Let me use

the word. It's an information that virtually

every day the Holy Ghost supplies to the believer.

Amen. Yes. Virtually every day you are enjoying

the operation of the word of knowledge. Amen.

Either for your family, for your friends, for

the church, for the most times. In fact, all

of the time when we say give somebody a word.

Right. There is high probability that the word

you are giving is a word of knowledge. Amen.

Yes. So, but we find situations where it's a

word of wisdom. Amen. And then we now find. where

we see discerning of spirits. However, we are

coming to that, you know, so that the practical

aspect of it will really be applicable well for

us. So now, we stopped at, somebody should help

me, we stopped where, at 1 Samuel, 1 Samuel,

right? Did he stop at 1 Samuel? Yes. Yes, good.

So, if you check your notes very well, we read

1 Corinthians 12, verse 8. From 1 Corinthians

1 Corinthians 12:8 1 Corinthians 12:8

12, verse 8, we stopped at verse 10. Let's go

there. Let's read it again. You should not be

tired of reading it. Let's go there. 1 Corinthians

12. 1 Corinthians 12. Yes. Father, we thank you.

We bless you. Be thou glorified. Be thou exalted

for this evening. We thank you for the spirit

of revelation is active in our hearts in the

name of Jesus. The eyes of our understanding

is flooded with light and we understand our reality

in Christ Jesus. We thank you that this evening,

Lord, as we are taught and we are trained in

the name of Jesus. We enjoy the operation of

the gift of the word of knowledge in Jesus' name.

Father, we thank you for we are receiving words,

we are receiving instructions, we are receiving

guide, we are receiving help. Lord, for ourselves,

for the local church, for our friends, for people

around us in the name of Jesus. And we see faith

being built, our lives edified and God glorified.

In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen. Praise God.

Hallelujah. Yeah, so 1 Corinthians chapter 12.

1 Corinthians 12 · chapter mention

Verse 8. Yeah, so before I read, you know, who

remembered on Sunday, I mentioned about somebody,

a brother that came to church, right? Yes, I

pointed a brother that came to church and then

I said I was scrolling on Instagram, the church's

page, and then I saw him, right? I just got this

impression in my heart that pray with him. Amen?

So after the service, we got to communicate and

then... I now knew the reason why that instruction

came. Amen. So because he shared with me a whole

lot of things that were happening and made up

his mind to be in the service in the morning.

Amen. So after we finished conversing and then

we had time to pray, or after he has told me

all that he needed to, it now made sense to me

more why that came for us to pray for him. Praise

God. Yeah, so this is practical application of

the word of knowledge. Amen. Then yesterday also,

one of our sisters, you know, we prayed for a

family member, you know, so she slept and then

woke up and then there was an instruction to

pray for them because she saw as though they

were kidnapped. Right. And then we had opportunity

to pray for them. And then yesterday we had the

prayers. And yesterday, right, they had a major

accident where the tire of the car, right, removed.

But all of them were preserved. Praise God. Hallelujah.

Yes, very practical. You remember I mentioned

on Sunday, when someone's thought comes to your

heart, let me say it again this way. Now, I'm

going to expand it. When someone's thought comes

to your heart, whether as a result of you are

awake during the activities of the day, Or you

see someone in the dream and you know it's not

ordinary because I thought about him or we slept

and then we talked and then I slept or we had

a discussion. But you know there is something

that is happening and then you woke up with a

burden in your heart. In fact, most times, let

me say this, most times, you know, the first

instruction you're going to get in your heart

is pray for them. Either pray for him or pray

for her or pray for them. Amen? Yes, so you will

see the leading or you will hear the leading

of the Holy Spirit in your heart swiftly regarding

that particular person or regarding that particular

matter. It's not ordinary. For some of us, it

will be a vision. You could be seated and then

it's almost like just a movie just played and

passed. You know you're not sleeping. And you

know that definitely you're not awake. But somehow,

like you saw a movie just pass, and then you

saw something happen to someone somewhere, and

an instruction came to your heart to quickly

reach out to the person. Amen? So as you are

reaching out to the person, immediately the person

tells you, this is what is just happening. How

did you know? Did someone reach out to you? No.

So don't ignore the promptings of the Holy Ghost.

When he brings people into your heart, when he

brings events into your heart, when he directs

you to locations, to places, to pray for people,

to pray for events, don't ignore them. Those

are not your ordinary daily thoughts. It is the

operation of the gift of the Holy Ghost in your

heart. Amen? To meet a need. To meet a need.

To establish God's purposes and His counsel.

This is important. You see, every day I get,

every day I look forward to practice more and

more and more and more and more the things of

the Spirit. Because that is the only way to get

better at it. That is the only way to get better

at it. That is the only way. So what I'm saying

in essence before we read this place is do as

much as possible to practice the things of the

Spirit. Practice them. Practice them. Practice

them. The more you get better at it, the more

you understand how God speaks. The more you understand

the voice of God clearly. the more your spirit

man is built so much more to silence other distractions

and noise from the environment. So most times

when I begin to hear, for example, an instruction

comes to my heart and God is reminding me, I

will take care of you. Remember, I told you that

I will take care of you. I share with my wife

that most times, oh, often when I begin to get

this instruction is because there's something

major that is coming ahead of me and God is preparing

my heart now to ensure that my faith wavers not

at the things I'm desiring or expecting. So we

should pay attention. So all the teachings that

we're going to get all this while till we end

this part of the gift of the Spirit, this series,

is important for us. Because whether you like

it or not, whether you know it or not, daily,

one of them is happening. Word of wisdom, word

of knowledge, discerning of spirit, one of them,

your oppression is coming. But because probably

you are not trained and taught, you will not

think it is your thought and then you ignore

it. Praise God. So we are learning now so that

we can take advantage and then see more of the

operation. One of the things that I said I was

going to add to us, that please let's add this.

The word of knowledge is not mind reading. The

word of knowledge is not what? The gift of the

word of knowledge is not mind reading. It's not

mind reading. It's not mind reading. You're not

trying to read the mind. So when we say pray

for somebody, that's why I'm saying this now.

Because when we come to practicing more, when

we say, can we pray for Tito? And then I come

to Tito and then I hold the hand of Tito. I'm

trying to use my, I don't know whether it's antenna

you want to use or something you want to use.

What is he thinking? What is he thinking? If

you cannot think anything, you say, ah, sorry,

bro, I don't have a word for you. It's not mind

-reading. When it comes to the operation of the

things of the Spirit or the gifts of the Spirit,

don't always lose touch with the source, the

Holy Ghost. Praise God. Don't always lose touch

with who? With the source, the Spirit. When we

say give a word for somebody, don't be looking

at the person. Rather, be speaking, be conversing

with the Holy Ghost. Holy Spirit, what do you

have for my sister? Holy Spirit, what do you

have for my brother? What is the need that you

want to meet? Pay attention. Pay attention. Pay

attention. As you're praying in the Holy Ghost,

pay attention. As you're praying in the Holy

Ghost, pay attention. As you're conscious about

what the Holy Ghost has, pay attention. Do you

know sometimes, as simple as I'm going for service,

church service, I'm already conversing with the

Holy Spirit. Please, how many people are you

healing today? How many people are coming to

service sick? How many people today are confused?

What is going to happen in the service today?

Even when I get into church, as service is going

on, I'm praying in the Holy Ghost, I'm turning

around to see the crowd. I'm turning around to

see the crowd. And then suddenly, one of these

days, as I'm turning, I will say, you see that

sister there? This is what I have for her. You

see that brother? This is what I have for him.

And I go glow. So I don't need to wait until

there is an atmosphere or there is a space created

for me to receive things that will strengthen

and build the faith of my brothers or the local

church. Why? Because the Holy Ghost The Holy

Ghost, we've had it in the previous series. The

Holy Ghost has already given me the gifts. He's

waiting on me to use them. He's waiting on me

to be able to work with them. He's waiting on

me to be able to work in love in all these gifts

as I bring benefits to the local church. So what

I'm saying in essence now, As we are now presently

on this platform now, you can receive a word

for somebody. Hallelujah. As we are on this platform

now, pay attention now. Pay attention. Pay attention.

You can scroll and see the names of people. Can

we just do this in the next one minute? If your

screen is not large, you can scroll and see the

names of people front and back. The Holy Spirit

is giving you a word now for someone. The Holy

Spirit is giving you a word for someone. Pay

attention. The Holy Spirit is giving you a word

for someone. Thank you, Holy Ghost. Thank you,

Holy Ghost. We're going to come back to this

part now at the end of the service because all

the words that you're receiving, just pay attention

to it. Pay attention to it and keep it. Do you

know that the more you continue to practice,

we can ask you to give a word for everybody on

this platform and you give them a word? Everybody

on this platform. Everybody. I mean precise word

of knowledge from the Holy Ghost. Yes. It's possible.

It's a reality. By the Spirit of God, not by

your own spirit or by your own ability. 1 Corinthians

1 Corinthians 12:8

12 verse 8. For to one is given by the Spirit

the word of wisdom, to another the word of knowledge

by the same Spirit, to another faith by the same

Spirit, to another the gifts of healing by the

same Spirit, to another the working of miracles,

to another prophecy, to another designing of

spirits, to another diverse kinds of tongues,

to another interpretation. of tongues. 11 now.

Now we stop there. But all these work that one

and the self same spirit dividing to every man

severally as what? As he will. Praise God. And

then when we read 1st we read 1st Samuel. Let's

go there. 1st Samuel chapter 9. We read verse

3, 5, 6, 15, 16, 19 and 20. And then we saw Prophet

Samuel. Bring a direction. Let's go there, everybody.

1 Samuel. 1 Samuel. 1 Samuel 9. I believe we

know what the word of knowledge is from the last

teaching we had. I believe we know what the word

of knowledge is not. We had a teaching on the

word knowledge. and then what it is not. And

now we are considering what the word of knowledge

is. And we started by 1 Samuel 9 .3 .5 and then

we read 20. So now let's go to 20. Everybody,

1 Samuel 9 .20. Are we all there? Can we read

verse 6 first before we read 20? And he said

unto the king, Behold, now there is in this city

a what? A man of God, and he is an what? Honorable

man. All that he said come to what? Come it surely

to pass. A man of God says a thing, and it surely

comes to what? To pass. Amen? It's important

when it comes to the believer and words. The

believer ought to be a man that is careful with

his words. Praise God. And he said, now let us

go thither, that eventually he can show us our

way that we should, what? We should go. They

are meeting the man of God to show them the way

they should go. They are not meeting the man

of God regarding God's purposes and his agenda

for him to be anointed as a king or for him to

be kept somewhere or something. No, they are

meeting the man of God for us, for him to tell

them the way they should go. So they know that

this man of God has a track record. Let me use

that carefully. That he has an integrity. And

that integrity is that when he says a word, it

will surely come to what? To pass. Praise God.

Then now they move to see the man of God. I have

verse 20 now. Let's see what the man of God now

will say. Verse 20. And as for thine asses that

were lost three days ago, set not thy mind on

them. Amen. For they are what? They are found.

Hallelujah. So God will bring information to

meet a need. So you can write it somewhere. The

word of knowledge in operation meets a need.

The word of knowledge in operation meets what?

needs a need. So God will give instructions,

information from the Holy Ghost to the believer

to meet a need. And on whom is all the desire

of Israel? Is it not on thee and on all thy father's

house? And Saul answered and said, Am I not the

Benjamite of the smallest of the tribes of Israel?

And thy and my family at the least of all the

families of the tribe of Benjamin. Wherefore,

then speakest thou so to what? To me. Praise

God. And Samuel took Saul and his servant and

brought them into the parlor and made them sit

in the chiefest place among them that were bidding.

which were about thirty persons. And Samuel said

unto the cook, Bring the portion which I gave

thee, of which I said unto thee, said he by thee.

And the cook took up the shoulder, and that which

was upon it, and said it before Saul. And Samuel

said, Behold, that which is left, said it before

thee, and eat. For unto this time had it been

kept for thee, since I said, I have invited the

people. So Saul did eat with Samuel that day.

25. And when they were come down from high place

into the city, Samuel came with Saul upon the

top of the house, and they arose early, and it

came to pass about the spring of the day that

Samuel called Saul to the top of the house, saying,

Up that I may send thee away. And Saul arose,

and they went out both of them, he and Samuel

abroad. And as they were going down to the end

of the city, Samuel said to Saul, Bid the servants

pass on before us. And he passed on. But stand

thou still a while, that I may show thee the

what? That I may show thee the word of God. Hallelujah.

Praise God. Yes, so we see an operation of the

word of knowledge from Prophet Samuel to Saul

here. Amen. Bringing the purposes of God over

Saul to be anointed as king. So every time the

word of knowledge comes, it's not for the giver,

neither is it for the receiver. What is that

the purposes of God should be established. The

need of the receiver is met, but the purpose

of God is what? Is established, is come to pass.

So what is the purpose of God? That that need

is met, the faith of the person is built, or

that person has a direction, or that person is

encouraged. This is important. So we see here

that a need is met, one. Two, we also see that

the purpose of God for Israel is what? Is come

to pass. Because there is Saul standing, and

Saul is to be anointed as king. Over here. over

Israel. Hallelujah. Samuel didn't need to fast

and he didn't need to do any special preparation.

Remember in verse 6, he says that in the city

there is what? There is a man of God. I say this

now to us. You are a man of God because you have

the spirit of God in you. You don't need any

special preparation when it comes to the operation

of the gifts of the Holy Ghost. However, you

just need to be conscious that you carry the

Spirit of God in you. You need to be conscious

that all the gifts and operations of the Holy

Ghost are manifested through you. So when we

say give a word for a sister, you don't need

to go, ah, I have not fasted, oh, I don't think

this thing will happen. Oh, no, I need to pray.

I need to pray for like, maybe let me touch up.

You know, I need to say this to us. When we say

give a word and then. You go, you're not praying

in tongues to turn up a locomotive engine on.

You were not called and then it's tongues. It's

almost like, all we need to say is, it's almost

like when you pray in tongues, you are not trying

to, you're trying to locate from heaven. Or you

are trying to locate from one mysterious realm.

Where is the word? Where is the word? And when

you now do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, you say,

brother, today, today there is no word. And then

the next thing you now resolve to do is that,

let's go to Psalms number 103. I think from Psalms

number 103, there is a word there for you. It

says, bless the Lord, O my soul. Brother, the

Lord is saying to you that you should rejoice

always. That is the word I have for you. I have

seen many of us use scriptures to run away from

giving the word. They say, give a word by the

Spirit, and then you go, okay, can we go to Matthew

Matthew 6 · chapter mention

chapter 6? When you now see Matthew chapter 6,

you know, it's not now. He said, no, no, no,

I think I'm missing it. I'm missing it. Let's

go to John. Let's go to John. Let's go to John.

Remember, I said it on Sunday, that the word

of knowledge is not the profound knowledge of

the Bible. It's solely depending on the Holy

Ghost. To give you an information that naturally

you will never have access to. And God is bringing

this information because He wants to meet the

need. He wants to guide. He wants to build faith.

He wants to strengthen. He wants to bring the

knowledge of His truth to that particular recipient.

So you didn't see Prophet Saul will tell the

Saul, Prophet Samuel, sorry. He didn't tell Saul

and his servants, guys, wait, wait, wait, wait

for me. Let me go up out to my room and then

consult God. No, no, no, no, no. Let me say this

now, having said all this, you can give a word

by the Spirit without necessarily starting out

praying in tongues. Oh boy, thank you, Holy Spirit.

We can tap you and say, please, brother, can

you give us a word? You know, we ended prayers.

Our brother Takunda ended a prayer from Romans

Romans 12 · chapter mention

chapter 12. He said that we stay what? Fervent.

Staying fervent means that I am always conscious

of the Holy Ghost. Staying firm means that, let

me use this word carefully for us, that I'm always

charged when it comes to things that pertain

to the things of the Spirit. So can we say, That

there is a man of God somewhere in Yenikent.

His name, or in Lefkosha, or in Kuchuk Kaimakri,

his name is Ayomide Keinde, or Vivian, or Wino,

or Lewis, or Caroline, or Mayowa, or Prince,

or Mirakulamanda. There's a man of God somewhere

in Hamidkoy called Mirakulamanda. If only we

can meet her, we're going to hear the mind of

God regarding this matter. and then they meet

you, and then you give them precisely. The believer

is operating by the Spirit of God. Hallelujah.

Praise God. Yes, so we needed that now. So now,

when we go to 1 Samuel 10, verse 1, 1 Samuel

10, we will see another operation again of the

word of knowledge from the prophet. You remember

on Sunday from the teaching we learned that the

word of knowledge will be about things that have

happened or things that are happening now. 1

verse... Okay, so that we will not do long reading.

Can we start from verse 20? From verse 20. When

you start reading 1 Samuel chapter 10, this is

after he has met the prophet. He was going back,

he met other prophets, and then he started prophesying.

Amen? And then from there now, he now came back

home. Then verse 20 now. And when Samuel had

caused all the tribes of Israel to come near,

the tribe of Benjamin was taken. We should not

forget 1 Samuel chapter 10. Verse 20. The tribe

of Benjamin was what? Was taking. And Samuel

is from where? And Saul is from where? The tribe

of where? Benjamin. Amen? Yes. So 21. When he

had caused the tribe of Benjamin to come near

by their families, the family of Matri was taking.

And Saul, the son of Kish, was taking. And when

they sought him, they could not what? They could

not find him. He could not be found. 22, everybody.

Therefore, they inquired of the Lord further,

if the man should yet come thither. And the Lord

answered, behold, he had what? He had hid himself

among where? Among the stuff. See 23. And they

ran. and fetched him tents. And when he stood

among the people, he was higher than any of the

people from his shoulder and upward. And Samuel

said to all the people, See ye him whom the Lord

hath chosen, that there is none like him among

all the people. And all the people shouted and

said, God save the king. Hallelujah. Saul went

and hid himself. You know, and they looked for

him. They could not what? They could not find

him. The prophet had to give a word of his location.

You know, has it ever happened to you? Let's

make it practical before we move on. You're looking

for something in your house and then something

is missing in your house. And then you go, Holy

Spirit, please, can you show me the place? Can

you show me the place? I see a couple of us are

smiling. A couple of us are smiling. And then

you just go and relax. Then after a while, after

a while, you now hear inside your heart a voice.

Check under the chair. And then you just move

straight. And mind you, you have checked there

before. In fact, you have turned everywhere.

Side right, side up, everywhere. But then now,

you know, after you just said, Holy Spirit, can

you show me where it is, please? And then you

go and relax. By evening, you didn't hear, can

you check behind the door? And then you just

move straight behind the door. And behold, what

you're looking for is there. You know, you're

not just... I don't know whether you either jump

around or you smile or you... You know, it has

happened to me several times. And then I will

now go, this thing is working, oh. This thing

is working. When I didn't know, now, I didn't

know that it was the Holy Ghost. In secondary

school, several times, if you have not lost key

in secondary school, then you are a legend. If

you have not lost your key in secondary school,

with the key to your drawer, to your locker or

something, then you are a legend. You must really

be a disciplined person in your secondary school.

But I've lost keys many times. But you know,

because of even the location where our school

is, it's inside a bush under the mountain, you

can't lose a key and even bother looking for

it. You just break the padlock or break the locker

somehow. But you know, many a times I'll lose

a key and I'll go... Please show me, Lord. Show

me, Lord. Show me, Lord. I will walk down to

the classroom and come up again. I will walk

down. Then I will branch to the road that leads

to the kitchen site. You know, as I'm branching

to the... I want to see the key on the ground.

I say, ah! This thing is working. Then... I would

say this thing is working. But if you are here

and you are hearing this, my voice now, it's

not this thing that is working. It's the word

of knowledge that the Holy Ghost is operating,

is bringing to your heart regarding that particular

thing. Praise God. So we see Saul, you know,

hiding himself and the Lord exposing him so that

he will be anointed. Okay. Glory to God. 1 Kings

18 37. 1 Kings 18 37. The Lord had to snitch

on Saul so that he would be anointed. 1 Kings.

1 Kings. Chapter 18. Let's see another scenario

1 Kings 18 · chapter mention

here. 1837. Are we all there? 1837. Hear me,

O Lord, hear me, that these people may know thou

art the Lord God and thou hast turned their heart

back again. Then the fire of the Lord fell and

consumed the burnt sacrifice and the wood and

the stones and the dust and licked up the water

that was in the trench. And when all the people

saw it, they fell on their faces, and they said,

The Lord is God, the Lord God is God. And Elijah

said unto them, Take the prophets of Baal, let

not one of them escape. And they took them, and

Elijah brought them down to the brook of Kishon

and slew them there. And Elijah said unto Ahab,

Get thee up, eat and drink, and there is a sound

of abundance of rain. So Ahab went up to eat

and to drink, and Elijah went up to the top of

the camel, and he cast himself down upon the

earth and put his face between his knees, and

said to his servant, Go up now and look toward

the sea. And he went up and looked and said,

There is nothing. And he said, Go again seven

times. And it came to pass at the seventh time,

he said, Behold, there arised a little cloud

out of the sea, like a man's hand. And he said,

Go up, say unto Ahab, Prepare thy chariot, and

get thee down. that the rain stopped thee not.

And it came to pass in the what? Meanwhile, that

when the heaven was black with clouds and wind,

and there was a great rain, and Ahab rode and

went to Jezreel, and the hand of the Lord was

on Elijah, and he girded up his loins and ran

before what? And ran before Ahab to the entrance

of where? Of Jezreel. Right? Elijah is just coming

out of a mighty, mighty display. Right? Good.

So let's go to chapter 19 now. See chapter 19

verse 2. Let's see chapter 19 from verse 1. And

Ahab told Jezebel all that Elijah had done, and

with all how he had slain all the prophets with

a sword. See verse 2. Then Jezebel sent a messenger

unto Elijah, saying, So let the gods do to me

a more also, if I make not thy life. As the life

of one of them. By what? By tomorrow about what?

About this time. What she is telling Elijah is

I will cut your head too. The way you cut the

head of those prophets. And Elijah knows that

this is not a threat. This woman was not bluffing

around. She wants to take your head. She will

take it straight. Then now. Let's now run down

to verse 15. From verse 14, let's see Elijah's

complaint. And he said, I have been very jealous

for the Lord God of hosts because the children

of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown

down thy altars and slain thy prophets with the

sword. And I, please pay attention to what Elijah

is saying. And I, even I only, am what? I'm left,

and they seek my life to take it away. And the

Lord said unto him, Go return on thy way to the

wilderness of Damascus, and when thou comest,

anoint Hazael to be the king over Syria. And

Jehu the son of Nimshi shalt thou anoint to be

king over Israel. And Elisha the son of Shaphat

of Abelmeholah shalt thou anoint to be prophet

in thy room. And it shall come to pass that him

that escaped the sword of Hazael shall Jehu slay.

And him that escaped from the sword of Jehu shall

Elisha what? Slay. Everybody see verse 18 now.

Yet. So this is a news that Elijah is not aware

of. In verse 14, Elijah said, I am the only one

that is what? That is left. Yet I have left me

seven thousand prophets in Israel, all the knees

which have not bowed unto Baal, and every mouth

which hath not kissed him. So he departed then

and found Elijah the son of Shaphat who was plowing

with the twelve yoke of oxen before him. And

he with the twelve, Elijah passed him and cast

his mantle away upon him. So God brought a word

of knowledge to Elijah that he is not aware of.

This is a man that is already complaining and

shouting and saying, I am the only one left.

All the prophets have been slain. And God is

telling him, no, I have left of me. Now, current

news. Now, Elijah, my prophet, listen. Presently

now, in case you don't know, know this, that

there are 7 ,000 other prophets that have not

bowed their knees unto power. Praise God. This

is so important. Then now, let's go to Elisha

now and see what Elisha did. 2 Kings 5, verse

2 Kings 5:21

21. So we see God speak to Elijah and tell him,

no, no, no, no. In case you don't know, I have

7 ,000. In this same location where you are,

there are 7 ,000 others that have not bowed down

their knees. 2 Kings 5. 2 Kings 5, verse 21.

So Gehazi followed after Naaman, and when Naaman

saw him running after him, he lighted down from

the chariot to meet him and said, It's all well.

And he said, All is well. My master had what?

Had sent me, saying, Behold, even now there be

come to me from Mount Ephraim two young men of

the sons of the prophets. Give them, I pray thee,

a talent of silver and two changes of garments.

And Naaman said, Be content, take two talents.

And he urged him and bound two talents of silver

in two bags with two changes of garments and

laid them upon two of his servants and they bared

them before him. I can just see Gehazi just shaking

his head and happy like today. Yeah, finally,

I've hit it. You know, in Hausa, there's something

that we call Roman Bishara. The steel of ministry.

Maybe you must have heard Pastor Victor use that

word. In English, direct translation in English

is the steel of ministry. It's like the benefit

of ministry. Gehazi does not want the benefit

of ministry to miss him. He had to run to Katov

and see now. 24. And when he came to the tower,

He took them from their hand and placed them

in the house, and he let the men go, and they

departed. But when he went in and stood before

his master, see what Elisha will say. And Elisha

said unto him, Whence comest thou? Gehazi, and

he said, Thy servant went nowhere. And he said

unto him, Went not mine heart with thee? When

the man turned again from his chariot to meet

thee, is it a time to receive money and to receive

garments and olive yards and vineyards and sheep

and oxen and maize? You see, Elisha was mentioning,

Elisha was not there to see the things that were

given to Gehazi. Praise God. He was not there.

To see somebody who say, the spirit of the prophet

is always following the servants. I don't know

about that. But Elisha was not there. But Elisha

told him, when's not my spirit with thee? Why

will you say you didn't go anywhere? However,

these are the things that you did. You did this,

you did this, you did this. 37. The leprosy therefore

of Naaman shall cleave unto thee and unto thy

seed forever. And he went out from his presence

a leper as wide as snow. So we see, we see Elisha

being able to, or we see the operation of the

word of knowledge in Elisha, right? To expose

a wrong that Gehazi did. Amen? This is important.

To expose a wrong that Gehazi did. So he was

sitting in his own house and yet he was able

to see the things that his servant had to do

regarding the gifts that he collected. So we

see him, he was lying. He was being hypocritical

regarding what, you know, he was not supposed

to receive. Because Elisha asked him, is it a

time to receive these kind of things? It's not

a time for it. Yet, God gone ahead to do that.

So we see an operation there of the word of knowledge.

And the king of Syria warred against Israel and

took counsel with his servants, saying, In such

and such a place shall be my camp. And you see,

the king of Syria is making a plan far away from...

And the man of God sent unto the king of Israel,

saying, Beware that thou pass not such a place,

for thither the Syrians are come down. And the

king of Israel sent to the place, which the man

of God told him and warned him of, and saved

himself there, not once, not twice. Therefore

the heart of the king of Syria was so troubled

for this thing, and he called his servant and

said unto them, Will ye not show me which of

us is for the king of Israel? And who is among

us? that is betraying us. See verse 12, everybody.

And one of his servants said, No, my lord, O

king, but Elisha, the prophet that is in Israel,

tell the king of Israel the words that thou speakest

in thy bed, Shamba. Elisha is not with the king

of Syria, yet we see God reveal the plans of

the king of Syria against Israel. He brings the

knowledge, the information now to preserve the

children of Israel. Hallelujah. We see in John

the word of wisdom, I will give us more scriptures,

extras. There are a lot of scriptures here that

I have here that I will give us from the Old

Testament to corroborate all this that we have

4. Let's see John chapter 4, verse 7. Jesus answered

and said unto her, If thou doest the gift of

God, and who is it that said to thee, Give me

to drink, thou couldst have asked of him, and

he could have given thee living water. The woman

said unto him, Sir, thou hast not it, draw it,

and thou well, and the well is deep. And from

whence then hast thou that living water? Art

thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave

us well of the well, and drank thereof himself,

and his children, and his cattle? Jesus answered

and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this

water, shall thirst again. But whosoever drinketh

of the water that I shall give him shall never

thirst, but the water that I shall give him shall

be in him a well of water springing up unto everlasting

life. The woman said unto him, Sir, give me this

water that I thirst not, neither come either

to draw. Can you see where Jesus started the

conversation from, right? He started the conversation

from water, right? 6, 16, sorry. Jesus said unto

her, Go call thy husband and come what? Either,

please tell me. How is husband connected with

water? The discourse was on water, drinking water.

Give me water to what? To drink. But yet, because

Jesus wants to establish something. 16, now,

suddenly, 16, by the word of knowledge now, Jesus

said unto her, Go call thy husband and come what?

Now see what Jesus will go ahead to tell her

now. Everybody now, verse 18. In the past, five

husbands. And he whom thou now, that thou hast,

is not even thy what? He is not thy husband,

him that said thy what? Truly. Praise God. The

woman said unto him, Sha, I see thou art a what?

A prophet. Praise God. Then now, when we now

quickly run down, Verse 39. Verse 39, everybody.

And many more believed because of his words.

because of his own words. So we see the operation

of the word of knowledge is that people are being

led to believe God. People are led to understand

the plans of God, the purposes of God, the will

of God. So when a word of knowledge, when you

are giving the word of knowledge or a word of

knowledge to a recipient, to a brother, to a

sister somewhere, that people are led to see

Jesus more. So the word of knowledge and all

the gifts of the Spirit will lead people to Christ,

will open the eyes of people to understand the

purposes of God, the plans of God, the will of

God. Hallelujah. The truth of God's knowledge

and the truth of God's word regarding the matter.

We see in John chapter 11 verse 11 to 21. After

John 11:11–21

they met Jesus regarding his friend Lazarus.

See what he said in verse 11. John chapter 11

verse 11. This is said he. And after that he

said unto them. Our friend Lazarus what? At this

point, when they met him, Lazarus had not died.

But he told them, Our friend Lazarus was sleeping,

but I go that I may awake him out of the sleep.

Then said his disciple, Lord, if he sleep, he

shall do well. How be it? Jesus spoke of his

what? Of his death. But they thought that he

had spoken of taking of what? Of rest in sleep.

So Jesus was talking about, you know, by the

word of knowledge, he was talking about an event

that is happening with Lazarus. When we now move

14, they said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus

is what? He's dead. Jesus is not in the location.

He was never close in the location. But yet,

by the word of knowledge, he was able to know

what has happened to his friend Lazarus. Then

we now see Martha in verse 20. Then Martha, as

soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went

and met him, but Mary sat still in the house.

Then Martha said unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hast

been here, my brother hath not, what? Hath not

died. But I know that even now, can you see belief

again? Hallelujah. Can you see belief again?

But I know that even now, whatsoever thou will

ask of God, God will give it. What? Will give

it to you. Praise God. So by the word of knowledge,

Jesus was able to know accurately that Lazarus'

friend had what? Had died. Praise God. He will

not have had access to that. He would not have

known. So naturally, some sort of information

was to be sent to him. He would have received

a message sent across to him regarding that.

But by the word of knowledge, he was able to

know. Amen? Acts chapter 9 verse 4. Or Acts chapter

9 verse 10. Let's go to Acts chapter 9 verse

10. Acts chapter 9 verse 10. And there was a

he prayed. Now you see, the Lord is telling Ananias

an information that is happening now regarding

Saul. That Saul is what? Is praying. And has

seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in.

God is even telling him that Saul has seen what?

A vision. Amen. He is telling, he is praying,

and at the same time, he has also what? Seen

a vision. Ananias in a different location, Saul

in a different location. I said, come in and

put his hand on him, and he might receive what?

His sight. Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have

heard by many of you. Many of this man, how much

evil he had done to thy servant at Jerusalem.

And he had authority from the chief priest to

bind all that call on thy name. But the Lord

said unto him, Go thy way, for he is a what?

For he is a chosen vessel unto me to bear my

name before the Gentiles and the kings and the

children of Israel. For I will show him how great

things he must what? He must suffer for my name's

sake. Praise God. So we see God bring a complete

knowledge to Ananias regarding the ministry of

who? Regarding the ministry of Saul. Praise God.

Hallelujah. That Saul will bear his name, Saul

will do the work of ministry, and Saul should

be anointed by him, should pray for him that

he may see, and Saul is going to suffer for his

name what? For his name's sake. Praise God. So

Ananias had all these facts about Paul. Being

revealed to him by God. All the visions that

he has had. Amen. So we see him now in Acts chapter

God. So, Peter had this information about...

the arrangement between Ananias and Sapphira,

his wife, by the word of knowledge. He would

not have known. He was not in their house. He

was not in their bedroom. He was not around when

they sold the land. He was not around when they

collected the money. He was not around when they

shared the money, kept the other part to themselves.

And then he was not around when they left to

come and meet him to submit the remaining one.

He was not there. So the Holy Ghost will bring

into manifestation through you. An information

that naturally should have reached you. But you

are not within the location. You are not within

the event. You are not within there. So God will

bring that information. Acts chapter 10. Let's

He was not in the churches. He didn't know the

state of the churches. He didn't know their shortcoming.

He didn't know what they had done. He didn't

know what is happening currently. But yet, he

was able to receive by vision their state. Amen?

So when we come to talk about the word of wisdom

properly, we're going to read all these places

back again because there are some things that

we need to see from there as relating to the

word of knowledge and then the word of wisdom

in operation. Amen. This is important for us.

Praise God. So let's write this. How to receive

the word of knowledge. How to receive the word

of knowledge. How to receive the word of knowledge.

The word of knowledge, please write this down.

The word of knowledge and the word of wisdom

can be manifested through various means in the

believer. The word of knowledge and the word

of wisdom can be manifested through various means

in the believer. Pay attention to all the places

that we've been reading. There is a manner in

which they know the information. There is a manner

in which they are receiving the information.

Amen? So the word of knowledge and the word of

wisdom can be manifested by various means in

the believer. One. One. It can come to the believer

through audible voice of the Holy Spirit within.

It can come to the believer through what? The

audible voice of the Holy Spirit within. Called

an inner witness. Inner witness. Inner witness.

It has come to the believer through the audible

voice of the Holy Spirit within, which is the

inner witness. And the inner witness, the inner

witness comes as a knowing, comes as a knowing,

comes as a prompting, comes as impression. Comes

as a notch. It comes as a knowing. Comes as a

prompting. Comes as an impression. And then a

notch. You just know that this is what is happening.

And you are getting the information from the

Holy Ghost. A believer can receive the word of

knowledge. Through a vision. He can receive the

word of knowledge through a vision. He can receive

a word of knowledge through a dream. Through

a vision, through a dream, he can receive a word

of knowledge. Through tongues and interpretation.

Through tongues and interpretation. And the believer

can receive the word of knowledge or a word of

knowledge through prophecy. So all the gifts

of the Holy Ghost. are working hand in hand together.

They are working hand in hand together. In fact,

we're going to establish that much more when

we are talking about the word of wisdom. All

these places, we're going to establish them well

when we are discussing the word of wisdom because

it's important. We're going to see how all the

gifts are connected together and then they are

manifesting all at operation in the believer.

Is that clear for all of us? Good. So now, let's

write this now. So, the word of knowledge will

say enough facts. The word of knowledge will

say or give enough information from the mind

of God. The word of knowledge is the last thing

now. The word of knowledge... Will give enough

information from the mind of God to the believer.

So that the recipient. So that the recipient.

Can understand God's mind. Let me say it again.

The word of knowledge will give enough information

from the mind of God to the believer so that

the recipient can understand the mind of God

regarding the matter, regarding the event, regarding

the need and etc. The word of knowledge does

not come to harass or intimidate people or condemn

them. The word of knowledge does not come to

harass or intimidate people or condemn them.

But rather, it comes to bring help to people

in love. But rather, it comes to bring help to

people in what? In love. In love. There is no

harassment. There is no intimidation. There is

no condemnation. But rather, the recipients enjoy

help. from the Lord in love. Praise God. So like

we said, that the word of knowledge is about

what has happened and what is happening now.

Praise God. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Yeah, so

lastly, this is the second time I'm using lastly,

but this lastly I'm using will have to do with

us now. Amen. I wrote so many examples here,

which I shared some on Sunday. I will point three

people. I will point three people now on the

platform, right? We're going to do practical

now. That you have received a word of knowledge

for someone, either, not necessarily, sorry,

happening now on the platform, right? But previously.

Right. In one of our meetings, catatismus or

one of the meetings in the church during the

prayer sessions or one of the teaching series,

you know, and then you have received a word.

An opportunity was given and then you receive

a word for somebody. You gave the person the

word by the spirit. Right. With all that we've

learned. And then the person didn't only confirm

it, but also after a few days, the person had

to meet you again and tell you, sir, that word,

Omar, that word that you spoke to me last week.

Actually, this is, this, this, this, this, this,

and that. Do you understand what I mean? Three

people. Christopher Bull, number one. Christopher

Bull, number one. Prince, number two. And then

Nancy, number three. Christopher. Prince, and

Nancy. Yes, Christopher, can you share one practical

testimony? You give somebody a word, the word

of knowledge. Thank you, sir. The recent one

happened in this meeting we just had, Cypress

Monday, where we, during the prayer session,

we were grouped, and then we were asked to pray

for each other. I think it was I, Jamelia, and

then two other ladies. The other two ladies were

not in any CF, but then I got word for the two

ladies. But then I was now thinking, I actually

shared it with myself. I was thinking that these

people are not in any CF. They're not used to

people telling them, I have a word from the Lord

for you. So I was contemplating how I was going

to deliver, and then I prayed more about it.

So I had to type it in my phone. And then the

one was sitting beside me, the other was sitting

right behind me. Then the one that was sitting

beside me, I gave her a word about her, you know,

growing more in, you know, to give her prophecy

and things like that. And then she actually confirmed

me. And then also about the company she was keeping.

Then the lady that was behind me, I saw her as

though she was praying for the eyes of her understanding

to be enlightened like two. the scriptures for

her to be able to teach her family and things

like that and she was somebody who was intimidated

or so like that she didn't believe so much in

herself so when I gave her the word through like

the notes she actually typed it she was like

this is actually what I came here for like this

is the exact word that I needed. Hallelujah praise

God praise God glory to God glory to God glory

to God praise God. Hallelujah. So that was the

word of knowledge in operation. There was no

how he would have known certain information because

they were just meeting in that location. They

have never planned. He has never searched for

any information about them anywhere. Praise God.

Prince, bro Prince. He's not there. Nancy. Hello,

sir. Okay, yes, we are hearing you. Okay, so

the word I received was from a sister in the

church. Concerning her, she joined the church,

but she has not been a member of the church.

So I received the word for her concerning her

serving in the church and how the Lord has been

bringing it to her. And also she confirmed it

as well. Not just for me, she said other people

from the church has also spoken to her about

it. Okay, praise God. That was when she took

the initiative as well. Ah, so she's serving

nun in the church? Yes, sir. Oh, glory to God.

Glory to God. Glory to God. Glory. You see, now

we have two things happening here. We have the

word of knowledge and we have the word of wisdom.

All of them at operation together. We're coming

to discuss that. And lastly, Nancy. Nancy. Okay,

good. Nancy will give us that word when we meet

physically. Amen? Yes, you will give us that

word. I want to own my mic. But you are taking

forever to own your mic. Is your mic needing

fuel or electricity? However, hold the words.

manifestation. We see more oppression in NECF.

We see more, more of the gifts. We see lives

being built. We see faith being built. We see

directions. Oh, we see clarity. Needs are met

by you in us to one another as we walk in love,

as we see more of the manifestation and more

of the operation. Thank you, Father, be thou
