  1. Welcome to NECF Sermons. Each message here is

  2. designed to uplift and strengthen you in your

  3. walk with God. Don't miss out. Stay with us until

  4. the end for a rewarding experience. Let's dive

  5. right in. of the Son of the Holy Spirit, teaching

  6. them to observe all things that I've commanded

  7. you and lo, I'm with you always, even to the

  8. end of the age. Praise the Lord. And on Sunday,

  9. we started teaching the union of the Spirit that

  10. we have. And we're going to continue that today.

  11. And we said that we answered the question why

  12. Jesus was telling them to preach the gospel to

  13. all nations. Praise the Lord. Because that has

  14. always been His original plan. That has always

  15. been the intention of God. Praise the Lord. And

  16. we looked at other scriptures that were saying

  17. also the same thing that he was telling them.

  18. Praise the Lord. That other scriptures that would

  19. say beginning at Jerusalem, right? And in Judea

  20. and in Samaria and all the earth. And we said,

  21. why did he tell them to begin at Jerusalem? And

  22. we said, because Jerusalem... as a message praise

  23. the lord jerusalem has a message and that message

  24. is about the kingdom of god the message of peace

  25. praise the lord so beginning at jerusalem we

  26. said was signifying the kind of message that

  27. was coming the kind of message that was coming

  28. and we also looked at the world in detail the

  29. nations to see that that had always been gospel

  30. and jesus started His ministry, right, from Galilee

  31. of the Gentiles or the nations, right? And also,

  32. he was also telling them that he should meet

  33. at a mountain which was in Galilee. Praise the

  34. Lord. Also signifying that his message was for

  35. everybody. So today we're going to continue with

  36. what we have started and we're going to look

  37. at a few other things that point to God's original

  38. plan. Praise the Lord. Before we start to talk

  39. about the spirit within us, or the spirit that

  40. we have, or the spirit that we enjoy, we need

  41. to look at other things that tells us about God's

  42. plan for the nations, or for everyone. Praise

  43. the Lord. So, in verse 20 of Matthew chapter

    Matthew 28 chapter mention

  44. 28, it says, The things that he has taught them,

  45. he taught them from the scriptures. Praise the

  46. Lord. The things that he has told them, it is

  47. from the scriptures. Praise the Lord. He was

  48. not telling them something abstract. They were

  49. not going to look for something that is not there.

  50. And he says what? That he should teach them to

  51. observe the things he has commanded them and

  52. lo and with you always. So the word unto the

  53. end of the world is the word Suntalia. S -U -N

  54. -T -E -L -I -A. Praise the Lord. and it is used

  55. in matthew very often and we as a church and

  56. as a cell meeting we have been dealing with it

  57. the end of the age praise the lord we have dealt

  58. with this word several times so i believe that

  59. we all know what it is but just look at a few

  60. references from the end of the age or end of

  61. the world matthew chapter 13 verse 39 matthew

    Matthew 13:39 Matthew 13:39

  62. chapter 13 verse 39 he says the enemy who saw

  63. them is the devil and the harvest is to the end

  64. of the age and the reapers are the angels he's

  65. asking what the end of the age matthew 13 40

  66. the 40 now therefore the towels are gathered

  67. and born into the fire so it will be at the end

  68. of the age verse 49 so it will be at the end

  69. of the age that the angels will come forth and

  70. separate the wicked among the just praise the

  71. lord so judgment he says is happening at the

  72. end of the age Hebrews chapter 9. Hebrews chapter

Hebrews 9 chapter mention Hebrews 9:26

  73. 9 verse 26. He then would have had to suffer

  74. often since the foundation of the world. But

  75. now once at the end of the age, he has appeared

  76. to put away sins by the suffering of himself.

  77. Praise the Lord. The end of the age, right? Is

  78. he saying it is done? Is he saying, okay, after

  79. this thing now it's finished? Is that what he's

  80. saying from everything that we have? learned

  81. from everything that we have studied telling

  82. you is he rapture is he talking about the everything

  83. is finished praise the lord that's not where

  84. we learned we can we we learned that it is not

  85. gone yet praise the lord and what is not done

  86. that the the word has not ended praise the lord

  87. the rapture had not happened if you like praise

  88. the lord and for some of you who have not been

  89. here we also mentioned that you can never find

  90. the word rapture In the English translation of

  91. the Bible, it is not there. Praise the Lord.

  92. So what does the end of the age mean? If it means

  93. that it's not done. If it means it's not the

  94. end. Praise the Lord. So the word refers to the

  95. fulfillment of a promise. Praise the Lord. We're

  96. not going to go into details. Like I said, we

  97. have learned this thing from ourselves. It means

  98. the fulfillment of a promise. to meet a target

  99. or a goal praise the lord i am with you always

  100. until the end so if you if you put the word fulfillment

  101. in india what you will find is that it will look

  102. like i am with you always until the fulfillment

  103. of the world praise the lord and it's the same

  104. place where we find or where eternal life is

  105. praise the lord it is the offspring of what we

  106. known as eternal life praise the lord so we also

  107. see that eternal life is also found in the old

  108. testament text it's not something that is also

  109. new right so eternal life simply means the age

  110. or time of the promised one praise the lord the

  111. age or the time of the promised one the age of

  112. the messiah praise the lord the end of the age

  113. the end the age of the messiah is something that

  114. the jews have been looking forward to The promise

  115. or the age of the Messiah. The promise of the

  116. age. It deals with the promise that is now fulfilled.

  117. At that time, it was regarded as for all, it

  118. is fulfilled. But at that time, it was the expected

  119. one. It was something that they were expecting.

  120. Praise the Lord. The time of the expected one.

  121. Lo, I'm with you always until the end of the

  122. age. So when we say eternal life, at that time,

  123. at this time, it is fulfilled. but it was something

  124. that the jews were expecting they were expecting

  125. a messiah like i said so more like they are waiting

  126. for a deliverer as we read in in isaiah praise

  127. the lord the age of the expected one so for the

  128. jews at this time that age is to come that age

  129. is what they are looking forward to i'm just

  130. saying so many things that i would really understand

  131. the expected one the age that is to come but

  132. to us is the age that we are in now praise the

  133. lord It's the age that we are in right now. It

  134. is what we enjoy. Eternal life is what we have

  135. and what we are. The expected one. So we'll look

  136. at why some of the Jews had challenge or they

  137. have serious problems with how Jesus came. Praise

  138. the Lord. Or the kind of things that Jesus was

  139. doing. Praise the Lord. They had an expectation.

  140. Remember when we read in Acts where they were

  141. asking him, would he at this time give the kingdom

  142. to Israel? Remember, they said that they misinterpreted

  143. it. Praise the Lord. And he told them no. Praise

  144. the Lord. He told them no, that it's not for

  145. you to know the time that is in the Father's

  146. hands. Praise the Lord. You shall receive what?

  147. Power when the Holy Ghost has come. So he's telling

  148. them this is their life. This is what is expected.

  149. You will receive power. Praise the Lord. He's

  150. telling them this is what has always been promised.

  151. So we want to look at why were they so expecting?

  152. Or why even to today? Some people still having

  153. some type of mentality towards what that which

  154. Christ has done. Why did the Jews have challenge?

  155. They were expecting the Messiah. So that is what

  156. Apostle Paul will often call, they were offended.

  157. Praise the Lord. It's the offense that they have.

  158. So reading as we have read last week, Isaiah

  159. and Psalms, right? They were expecting somebody,

  160. yes? They were expecting the Messiah to come.

  161. They were expecting a kingdom. praise the lord

  162. they were expecting a king to come they were

  163. expecting like i said a deliverer somebody that

  164. would come and save them praise the lord they

  165. were expecting a savior somebody would come as

  166. a king and he would deliver them from the oppressions

  167. that he had so what were the challenges that

  168. he had so let's go again to matthew chapter 21

    Matthew 21:13

  169. verse 13 matthew chapter 21 verse 13 and he said

    Matthew 21:13

  170. to them it is written my house shall be a house

  171. of prayers but you have made it a den of thieves

  172. my house shall be called the house of prayer

  173. but you have made it a den of thieves mark 11

  174. speaking of the same thing mark 11 17 then he

  175. taught them saying is he not meeting my house

  176. shall be called the house of prayer for all nations

  177. praise the lord let's take note of that he said

  178. for all nations but you have made it a den of

  179. thieves praise the lord so even before the fulfillment

  180. he was still telling them the intention of god

  181. he said it's for all nations remember some people

  182. were not permitted to be here or to be in this

  183. house some people were not expected to be in

  184. this house and the background of this scripture

  185. was that they were changing money they were doing

  186. a lot of business in the in the in the temple

  187. john chapter 2 verse 16 speaking still talking

    John 2:16

  188. about the same thing and he said to those who

  189. sold those take these things away do not make

  190. my father's house the house of my children praise

  191. the lord God make it a marketplace, right? And

  192. again, remember, he says that this is speaking

  193. of the temple, that the temple is his father's

  194. house. Praise the Lord. The temple is his father's

  195. house. Now, this is where the challenge starts,

  196. right? To happen. Verse 19. And Jesus said to

  197. them, answered and said to them, destroy this

  198. temple and in three days you will raise it up

  199. again. Raise it up. Praise the Lord. This is

  200. where the challenges start to happen. So we're

  201. going to come back to this. Destroy this temple

  202. and I will raise it up again. So my father's

  203. house, the temple, he says destroy it and in

  204. three days I will raise it up again. So in Matthew,

  205. in Matthew 11, verse 17, he says what? He says

    Matthew 11:17

  206. it should be a house of prayers for all nations,

  207. for everybody. In Matthew 21, verse 13, he says

    Matthew 21:13

  208. that you have made it. a den of thieves you have

  209. changed it to something else what was the challenge

  210. they were having they were expecting a messiah

  211. but they had a big problem and we see even the

  212. black blind batmios said to jesus in mark 11

  213. 47 he said oh jesus christ son of david praise

  214. the lord he called jesus the son of david the

  215. one that they are expecting he said what have

  216. mercy on me Mark 11, 47. John chapter 4, verse

    John 4:29

  217. 29. Speaking of the Samaritan woman, right? She

  218. said, could this be the Christ? Could this be

  219. the Christ? I come to see a man who told me all

  220. things that I ever did. Could this be the Christ?

  221. Where did their offense come from? They even

  222. asked Jesus during his trial, he said what? Are

  223. you the Christ? Praise the Lord. Are you the

  224. Christ? This was the question they asked him

  225. in Matthew chapter 22. Let's go to verse 42 now.

    Matthew 22 chapter mention

  226. Matthew 22, verse 42. To see what Jesus said

    Matthew 22:42

  227. to them. Matthew chapter 22, verse 42. Saying,

    Matthew 22:42

  228. what do you think about the Christ? Whose son

  229. is he? And they said to him, the son of David.

  230. Remember the blind man. He said what? Jesus,

  231. son of David, have mercy upon me. He said to

  232. them, how then does David... in the spirit call

  233. him lord saying the lord said to my lord sit

  234. at my right hand till i make your enemy your

  235. future if david then called him lord how is he

  236. his son praise the lord so he was asking them

  237. question that they could not answer praise the

  238. lord but remember they told him that what that

  239. he's a son of david that christ is the son of

  240. david and this is this reference is in psalms

    Psalms 110:1

  241. 110 verse 1. verse 45 said if david then called

  242. him lord how is he his son so we see some of

  243. the challenges that they begin to have so last

  244. on sunday we read isaiah's right and so when

  245. you think about the promise of the christ or

  246. the promise of the savior or the thing that the

  247. the jews were expecting you'll find that in isaiah

    Isaiah 40 chapter mention

  248. chapter 40 you find that in isaiah chapter 42

    Isaiah 42 chapter mention

  249. you'll find it in 49 you'll find it in 52 but

  250. then When you go to 53, right, it's also where

  251. they begin to also have challenges. Praise the

  252. Lord. You will also find it in 44, in 55. So

  253. right in the middle of it, it talks about something

  254. different that doesn't look like a savior. Praise

  255. the Lord. Just take your time and read it. Isaiah

    Isaiah 40 chapter mention

  256. chapter 40, Isaiah chapter 42, 43, 40, 52, and

    Isaiah 42 chapter mention

  257. then you have 53. And then read 40, 55, and then

  258. 54. But then 53 is where they started having

  259. the Ethiopian Union. Well, that was where his

  260. challenge was. Praise the Lord. Remember the

  261. Christian he was asking? Acts chapter 8 from

    Acts 8 chapter mention

  262. verse 30 to 34. Is he speaking of himself or

  263. another? Praise the Lord. So Philip ran to him

  264. and had him reading from the prophet Isaiah and

  265. said, Do you understand what you are reading?

  266. And he said to him, How can I unless somebody

  267. guide me? And he asked Philip to come up and

  268. sit with him. And the place in the scripture

  269. where he read was this. He was laid as a sheep

  270. to the slaughter. As a lamb before a herder is

  271. silent. He opened not his mouth. Verse 3. In

  272. humiliation, his justice was taken away. Who

  273. would declare his generation? For his life is

  274. taken from the earth. Now, this is the question

  275. he asked him. So the eunuch answered Philip and

  276. said, I ask you, of whom does the prophet say

  277. this? Of himself or some other man? Praise the

  278. Lord. Even him is confused. Praise the Lord.

  279. Maybe he has read 52. Praise the Lord. And maybe

  280. he has seen some glamorous things, right, of

  281. what the Savior will be like. And then he comes

  282. to, that is Isaiah, he comes to 53, and then

  283. he begins to have challenge as well. right you

  284. say is he speaking of himself of another man

  285. so right in the middle of these things of Isaiah

    Isaiah 40 chapter mention

  286. chapter 40 to 55 right we have 53 praise the

  287. Lord so let's go to Isaiah 53 Isaiah 53 verse

    Isaiah 53:1

  288. 1 say who has believed our report to whom has

  289. the arm of the Lord being revealed praise the

  290. Lord what report is he asking about right what

  291. is this report who has believed our report to

  292. whom are the arm of the lord will reveal right

  293. this is where their offense is praise the lord

  294. so isaiah 53 right is what is the faith of the

  295. believer praise the lord what is the offense

  296. of the jews praise the lord the all nations are

  297. glad about 53 praise the lord all nations are

  298. glad about 53 galilee of the gentiles are glad

  299. about 53 for the jews are offended by it so let's

  300. look at verse 3 verse 2 now but he grew up but

  301. he shall grow up before him as a tender plant

  302. as a root out of a dry ground he has no form

  303. or cornyness and when we see him there is no

  304. beauty that we should desire him praise the lord

  305. speaking of the messiah verse 33 now history

  306. sorry he was despised rejected of men a man of

  307. sorrow acquainted with grief as it were Our faces

  308. from him. He was despised and we do not esteem

  309. him. Praise the Lord. Verse 4. Surely he bore

  310. our grief and carried our sorrow. Yet we esteem

  311. him stricken, smitten by God and afflicted. Verse

  312. 5. He was wounded for our transgression. He was

  313. bruised for our iniquities. The chastisement

  314. of our peace was upon him. By his strife we were

  315. healed. Verse 6. We all like sheep have gone

  316. astray. We have turned everyone to his own way.

  317. and the lord has laid on him the iniquity of

  318. the seven now so we see this is where the e -mail

  319. started having this way he was reading and he

  320. started having the problem praise the lord he

  321. was oppressed he was afflicted yet he opened

  322. not his mouth was led as a lamb to the slaughter

  323. as a sheep before his share is sailing he opened

  324. not his mouth so this is where we saw in acts

    Acts 8:32

  325. chapter 8 verse 32 that he was having the issues

  326. with him he was taken from prison and from judgment

  327. who would declare his generation but he was cut

  328. off from the land of the living for the transgression

  329. of my people he was stricken they made his grave

  330. with the wicked but with the rich at his death

  331. because he has done no violence nor was any deceit

  332. in his mouth yet he pleased the lord To bruise

  333. him. He has put him to grief. When you make his

  334. soul. As an offering for sin. He shall see. Now

  335. let's pay attention to this. He shall see his

  336. seed. And will prolong his days. And the pleasure

  337. of the Lord. Shall prosper in his hands. Verse

  338. 11. He shall see the labor of his soul. And be

  339. satisfied. By his knowledge. My righteous servant.

  340. Shall justify many. For he shall bear their iniquity.

  341. Praise the Lord. This. He shall bear their iniquity.

  342. Praise the Lord. He's also a problem. Praise

  343. the Lord. Because the king cannot, obviously,

  344. bear your iniquity. The king who is coming cannot,

  345. after all this suffering, bear your iniquity.

  346. Praise the Lord. So we see some of the things

  347. that they were having. This is their offense.

  348. Who would believe our report? Verse 1. So we

  349. have spoken of Jerusalem, Zion, right? Behold

  350. your God, he comes with all his glory. We see

  351. that in Isaiah. We have read it before. And then

  352. all of a sudden, you are hearing afflicted. he's

  353. afflicted praise the lord before now he was behold

  354. your god he comes in his glory and then we come

  355. to 65 you're done hearing he was afflicted praise

  356. the lord so it's something that they cannot wrap

  357. their minds around how can a king be afflicted

  358. praise the lord they have forgotten what jerusalem

  359. means what melchizedek means praise the lord

  360. who will believe our report verse 1 of that is

  361. 53 who will believe our report so That word,

  362. report, a report is a word, a man, a man. It's

  363. the same word that is used for when Abraham believed

  364. God. Praise the Lord. And it was accounted for

  365. him for righteousness. Genesis chapter 15, verse

    Genesis 15:6

  366. 6. Abraham believed in the Lord and it was accounted

  367. for him for righteousness. It's a word, belief.

  368. And then, do not forget that first, righteousness

  369. was first described, who was first described

  370. to be righteous? Before Abraham. Melchizedek.

  371. Praise the Lord. Before Abraham. Who has believed

  372. our report. To believe. So let's run through

  373. this. Genesis chapter 42 verse 20. So thy word

    Genesis 42:20

  374. shall be verified. The word verified there. In

  375. Genesis chapter 42 verse 20. To bring your strongest

    Genesis 42:20

  376. brothers to me. So your word will be verified.

  377. And you shall not die. And they did so. That

  378. place verified is the word. A man is the same

  379. word as believe. Genesis 45 verse 26. It's also

    Genesis 45:26

  380. the word believe not or believe. He said, and

  381. they said to him saying, Joseph is still alive.

  382. He's the governor over the land of Egypt. And

  383. Jacob had stood still because he did not believe

  384. them. Did not believe them is the same word there.

  385. So to believe is used for somebody bringing a

  386. report to you. Praise the Lord. Did you believe

  387. the report that was told you? don't need to read

  388. this i'll just list it for us exodus chapter

    Exodus 4:5

  389. 4 verse 5 verse 8 verse 9 and verse 31 we'll

  390. see the word believe there right you see the

  391. word believe that they may believe that the lord

  392. god of our fathers praise the lord is the word

  393. a man in exodus 14 verse 31 exodus 14 verse 31

    Exodus 14:31 Exodus 14:31

  394. because israel saw the great walk which the lord

  395. had done in egypt so the people fear the lord

  396. and believe the lord and his servant moses is

  397. the word believed there exodus 19 verse 19 remember

    Exodus 19:19

  398. in the wilderness the people did not believe

  399. god we also did these studies they didn't believe

  400. what was preached to them exodus 19 verse 9 so

    Exodus 19:9

  401. is the word believe you forever in that place

  402. numbers 14 verse 11 you see that same word there

    Numbers 14:11

  403. Deuteronomy 1 .32. Deuteronomy 1 .32. Deuteronomy

  404. 9 .23. Now, let's look at another way apart from

  405. believe in which it is used. Numbers 12 .7. It

  406. says, Not so with my servant Moses is faithful

  407. in all my house. This word faithful is that same

  408. word a man, right? To believe. It's also used

  409. at faithful. Praise the Lord. It's the same word

  410. that is also found in the New Testament as pistis.

  411. right is the word pistis which is which appears

  412. a lot of time too as faith right as faithfulness

  413. so to believe right means to be faithful to be

  414. trusting or trustworthy that what a man means

  415. to what to be faithful to be trusting or trustworthy

  416. in Deuteronomy 7 9. so the word Belief, or the

  417. word aman, is also used to be faithful, trusting,

  418. and betrusting. Like I said, this is a word that

  419. is used in the Old Testament, right, as pistis.

  420. P -I -S, P -I -S. It is used about, roughly about,

  421. 243 times in the New Testament. Praise the Lord.

  422. In Romans, in Hebrews, in the Epistles, right?

  423. It is used to describe us, and it's also used

  424. to describe God. It means to believe. God is

  425. faithful, right? We describe God as a faithful

  426. God, right? Is that what Christ is or a man in

  427. the Old Testament? Which means we believe in

  428. God who is faithful and we become faithful. Or

  429. you can write, our faith is in a faithful God

  430. and that makes us faithful men. Our faith is

  431. in a faithful God and that makes us faithful

  432. men. Remember where we are coming from. Who has

  433. believed our report in Isaiah 53? So, who has

  434. believed our report in Isaiah 53 verse 1 is,

    Isaiah 53:1

  435. who has believed in the faithfulness of God and

  436. is faithful to his message? Praise the Lord.

  437. Who has believed our report? Right? He said,

  438. to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?

  439. What he's saying is that who has believed in

  440. the faithfulness of God and is faithful to his

  441. message? Our report. So the word report is shemua.

  442. S -H -E -M -U -A. It means to announce. Praise

  443. the Lord. We are dealt with the word belief,

  444. right? We said it's the word aman. It means faithful,

  445. right? And we said that it is to believe in a

  446. faithful God and to be faithful to his message.

  447. The word report is the word shemua, which means

  448. to announce. So you believe what someone said

  449. about someone. Faith in somebody who is faithful.

  450. Praise the Lord. Faith in someone. who is faithful

  451. so let's go back to where i said we should pay

  452. attention to which is verse 10 of isaiah 53 that

  453. talks about he will see his seed and prolong

  454. his days yet he pleased the lord to bruise him

  455. he has put him to grief when he makes his soul

  456. an offering for sin for he shall see his seed

  457. and will prolong his days and the pleasure of

  458. the lord will prosper in his hands praise the

  459. lord is the word zebra right that word he shall

  460. see his sea is a word zed and prolong his days

  461. now to prolong his days is the word ar right

  462. to prolong his days means to continue praise

  463. the lord to prolong these days means to continue

  464. his days what did after jesus resurrected did

  465. we see him believable in the natural 133 years

  466. praise the lord what is he prolonging what is

  467. he prolonging what does he see zero means his

  468. days remember we talked about eternal life right

  469. So the time of the Savior. The time of the Savior.

  470. So he will sit with me and prolong his days.

  471. So what is he prolonging? So he's prolonging

  472. Christ's dominion. Praise the Lord. He's prolonging

  473. Christ's dominion. He's prolonging Christ's ministry.

  474. Praise the Lord. He's prolonging Christ's ministry.

  475. His dominion. His character. His teaching. This

  476. is what is called eternal life. To prolong his

  477. activity. The seed there is what the church is.

  478. He will prolong his days. He will see his seed

  479. and prolong his days. So eternal life is the

  480. age and the time of the Messiah in the church

  481. and the church in the Messiah. Eternal life is

  482. the activity of Christ after or upon his redirection.

  483. So remember we said that he said his father's

  484. house, the temple is his father's house. So therefore,

  485. the temple there is also a parable. Praise the

  486. Lord. He was trying to teach them something.

  487. The temple there is also a parable. Praise the

  488. Lord. And as we have known, and we have logically

  489. asked the question, would he build a temple in

  490. three days? Is he talking about a physical temple?

  491. Praise the Lord. And we said, no, that's not

  492. what he means. Praise the Lord. We have been

  493. caught that. So the temple there for the year

  494. is a parable. 19, right? 19 jesus answered and

  495. said they share this temple and in three days

  496. i will raise it up praise the lord so he's not

  497. talking about what he's not telling them this

  498. temple praise the lord he's talking about what

  499. will happen at his resurrection the activities

  500. of christ upon the resurrection so the temple

  501. so the first thing we saw that he does is that

  502. he he drove everybody that was selling and buying

  503. from the temple praise the lord so everything

  504. that he did before then and after then right

  505. was pointing to his resurrection praise the lord

  506. every of his activity as he entered the temple

  507. was pointing to his resurrection and eternal

  508. life so what he did before he entered the temple

  509. and what he did afterwards is very important

  510. it is written my father's house shall be a house

  511. of prayer what did we say the house there was

  512. it's a victim what is the house there praise

  513. the lord is a house of prayer for all nations

  514. but you have made it a den of thieves my father's

  515. house shall be a house for all nations praise

  516. the lord my father's house shall be a house remember

  517. he said what was the promise that abraham believed

  518. praise the lord that was in him shall all the

  519. nation of the earth be blessed praise the lord

  520. so when jesus is saying my father's house shall

  521. be a house of prayer for all nations he is saying

  522. that which has been said from the beginning so

  523. says the lord keep justice and do righteousness

  524. for my salvation is about to come and my righteousness

  525. to be revealed blessed is a man who does this

  526. and the son of man who lay hold on this on this

  527. on it who keeps from defiling the sabbath and

  528. keeps his hand from doing any evil do not let

  529. the son of the foreigner who has joined himself

  530. to the lord say the lord has utterly separated

  531. me from his people nor let the eunuch say here

  532. i am a dry tree praise the lord they should not

  533. feel segregated or different Praise the Lord.

  534. Verse 4 now. Who keeps my servant and shows what

  535. pleases me and hold fast to my covenant? That

  536. is, he's talking to those who are coming in.

  537. Remember, at this time, there were some people

  538. that were not allowed to be in the temple. Verse

  539. 5. Even to them, I will give what? My house.

  540. Praise the Lord. So this is where Jesus was teaching

  541. them from. That what? My Father's house shall

  542. be a house of prayer for all nations. For you

  543. have made it a den of thieves. Even them, I will

  544. give my house. within my walls the place and

  545. the name sons and daughters i will give them

  546. an everlasting name that they shall not be cut

  547. off everyone who keeps on defiling the sabbath

  548. and hold my covenant was certain even them i

  549. will bring to my holy mountain i will make them

  550. joyful in my house of prayers their bones offering

  551. and the sacrifice will be accepted at my altar

  552. for my house shall be what called the house of

  553. prayer For all nations. Praise the Lord. All

  554. nations. Jews and Gentiles. Hallelujah. Praise

  555. the Lord. I would raise it up. Right? In John

    John 2:19

  556. chapter 2 verse 19. That is to restore. Right?

  557. He's restoring the promise that is made to Abraham.

  558. So what we see in Mark chapter 11. Matthew chapter

Mark 11 chapter mention Matthew 22 chapter mention

  559. 22. John chapter 2. My house. The house of the

    John 2 chapter mention

  560. Lord. Matthew chapter 21. Now at resurrection.

    Matthew 21 chapter mention

  561. It will welcome everybody inside. There will

  562. not be strangers anymore. Praise the Lord. And

  563. we see that even before it becomes a reality,

  564. Christ has done some practice. He has practiced

  565. some things, which we also studied before now.

  566. Praise the Lord. By the healing that he healed

  567. in the temple. Praise the Lord. We have done

  568. these studies. Matthew 21, verse 13. It is written,

    Matthew 21:13

  569. My house shall be called the house of prayers,

  570. but you have made it a den of thieves. Do not

  571. forget all nations. right verse 14 now then the

  572. lame then the blind and the lame came to him

  573. in the temple and he healed them praise the lord

  574. he healed them so the lame and the blind were

  575. not allowed in the temple before so they came

  576. to him in the temple and he healed them right

  577. in doing this or in healing them what he's saying

  578. is that you are all welcome to this place praise

  579. the lord it is a house for all nations so the

  580. physical temple We say it is a parable, right?

  581. A parable of what? Right? The people. Praise

  582. the Lord. The people. When God builds his temple,

  583. he builds men. Praise the Lord. When God builds

  584. his temple, he builds men. Why did he use the

  585. temple? I think we have also done these studies.

  586. We said that some of the things that happened

  587. in the Old Testament, God allowed them. Praise

  588. the Lord. He did not approve those things. He

  589. allowed them. Men had cultures. Remember, Abraham

  590. was what? He came from a pagan background. All

  591. the Chaldeans. Praise the Lord. There were so

  592. many things that God allowed. Praise the Lord.

  593. So, this temple was a borrowed culture. Praise

  594. the Lord. Now, why is that a borrowed culture?

  595. So, we observe that when Moses was building the

  596. tabernacle of God, right? God said he should

  597. build it according to his plan. Why? Because

  598. these people understand what temples are. They

  599. had a culture. They were something they were

  600. coming from. They had idols. They had idol worship.

  601. Exodus chapter 25 verse 40. To build it according

    Exodus 25:40

  602. to his own pattern. Because the temple, right,

  603. was in their culture. Praise the Lord. The temple

  604. was in their culture. They had their temples.

  605. They had their sacrifice. They had the place

  606. of idols. They already have that. Praise the

  607. Lord. That's why Abraham, They did not build

  608. any temple. Neither did Isaac nor Jacob. Right?

  609. We will see what Jacob did. Genesis 28, 19. And

  610. he called the name of the place Bethel. And the

  611. name of that city had been loosed previously.

  612. Praise the Lord. Bethel. Bethel. Right? It means

  613. what? The house of God. The house of God. The

  614. 16th. Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said,

  615. Surely the Lord is in this place. And I did not

  616. know it. Praise the Lord. The Lord is in this

  617. place and I do not know it. But did you notice

  618. that if you read, he did not say, let's call,

  619. you know, Mr. Gabriel works in a construction

  620. company, right? He said, let's call Mr. Gabriel,

  621. let him come and build a structure here for us.

  622. The Lord is here. He didn't look for an architect.

  623. He didn't look for an engineer to come and say,

  624. come and build something for us here. Praise

  625. the Lord, because he knows, he has knowledge.

  626. Praise the Lord. He knows. He didn't get an architect.

  627. So, the idea of calling a place, let's say, the

  628. temple, or let's say the house of God, was something

  629. that was borrowed. It's a borrowed concept. So,

  630. but God accommodated it because of his love and

  631. his grace. Verse 17 says, And he was afraid and

  632. said, How autumn is this place? There is no other

  633. than the house of the Lord and the gates of heaven.

  634. Praise the Lord. Like I said, do not come and

  635. start laying blocks. for the gate of heaven the

  636. house of the lord this is the gate of heaven

  637. why did they call it the gates of heaven look

  638. at rest verse 2 now why do you call it gate of

  639. heaven they didn't just manufacture that like

  640. in genesis 28 then he dreamt and behold the ladder

  641. was set up on the earth and the top reached the

  642. heavens there the angel of the lord we are sending

  643. and descending praise the lord why did he call

  644. it the gate of heaven why because there is an

  645. entrance in his dream He saw that there was an

  646. entrance, right? Like a staircase. It's this

  647. same word that we find in Genesis 11, talking

  648. about the Tower of Babel. Praise the Lord. They

  649. were building something to the Lord, the Tower

  650. of Babel. It's a place of worship. Let's read

  651. from verse 12 to 13 now. Genesis 20. Okay, verse

  652. 13. And behold, the Lord stood above it and said,

  653. I'm the Lord God of Abraham, your father, the

  654. God of Isaac, the land which you lie. I will

  655. give to you and your descendants. Verse 14. And

  656. your descendants shall be as the dust of the

  657. earth, and they shall spread abroad to the east,

  658. to the west, to the east, to the north, to the

  659. south. And you and your seed, all families of

  660. the earth, shall be blessed. Praise the Lord.

  661. Seeing another plan of God on the earth, house

  662. of the Lord. So we say that the temple is a parable.

  663. So Jesus used their practice to teach. Praise

  664. the Lord. When he says, destroy this temple in

  665. three days, he was using what they know of to

  666. teach. So God uses their practice to teach them

  667. his plan and his purpose. He uses illustration.

  668. Praise the Lord. So we need to pay attention

  669. to these things. So that somebody will not say,

  670. until you come to this altar, you will not be

  671. blessed. Praise the Lord. There are a lot of

  672. things like that. Or somebody will say that,

  673. I will not allow anybody on my altar. Praise

  674. the Lord. There's so many, as the word would

  675. say, charlatans that use those words. Moses started

  676. by what? We see that Moses started by using tabernacles.

  677. He was moving houses from tent to tent. And then

  678. the temple is a parable. So we have looked at

  679. all these things. Praise the Lord. Right? Now

  680. we're going to focus in our next teaching where

  681. we have the time about what? The word became

  682. flesh. Praise the Lord. The union of the spirits

  683. that we have. The word became flesh. Hallelujah.

  684. And dwelt among us. God dwelling among us. John

    John 1:14

  685. chapter 1 verse 14. He said the word became flesh

  686. and dwelt among us. And we beheld his glory.

  687. The glory as of the only begotten of the father.

  688. Full of grace and truth. The flesh. He became

  689. flesh and dwelt among us. So the word that was

  690. used for dwelt is tabarako. Right? He dwelt among

  691. us. He tabernacled among us. And we beheld his

  692. glory. Right? That is the temple language. Praise

  693. the Lord. Remember what was happening in the

  694. Old Testament. We beheld his glory. This thing

  695. you're seeing is temple language. The glory as

  696. the only begotten of the Father. Full of grace

  697. and truth. In temple language. So what he says,

  698. destroy this temple and in three days we will

  699. raise it up again. Right? What? In three days

  700. he will raise it up what? for the Jew and for

  701. the Gentiles. Hallelujah. And everybody will

  702. be welcome in the inside of it. Praise the Lord.

  703. I would raise it up. Praise the Lord. I will

  704. restore God's plan and purpose. I will restore

  705. the house of God for all nations. Let me just

  706. rise up on our feet and just thank God. for what
