  1. Welcome to NECF Sermons. Each message here is

  2. designed to uplift and strengthen you in your

  3. walk with God. Don't miss out. Stay with us until

  4. the end for a rewarding experience. Let's dive

  5. right in. Luke 24, everybody. Verse 47. Luke

    Luke 24:47

  6. 24, verse 47, everybody. You see, all the subject

  7. of greater works cannot be a reality without

  8. the finished works of Jesus. Hallelujah. Greater

  9. works are predicated upon what Christ has done.

  10. Amen. In fact, let me put it this way. Not only

  11. what Christ has done, but all that Christ has

  12. done. Praise God. Not some of the things he has

  13. done. Not one or two things that he has done.

  14. But what? But all the things. Christ has what?

  15. Done. Faith for the believer is the product of

  16. the finished works. What Christ has done. Hallelujah.

  17. Praise God. So every time we affirm that we see

  18. signs, wonders, and miracles regularly in our

  19. meetings are a product of what? All that Christ

  20. has what? Has done. Praise God. Hallelujah. Why

  21. you are a believer, why you can boldly say, I

  22. am born again, and I have the Spirit of God in

  23. me, is because of all that Christ has what? Has

  24. done. So if we remove what Christ has done, there

  25. is no believing, if there is any word like that.

  26. There is nothing like that. Every one of us will

  27. just be unbelievers, living our lives in darkness.

  28. But you see, as a product of what he has done,

  29. the scripture says we have been delivered from

  30. the kingdom of darkness and translated into the

  31. kingdom of his dear son, the place of light.

  32. First Thessalonians, we say we are the children

  33. of light. We are not the children of night again.

  34. Hallelujah. What Christ has done has brought

  35. us into light. Praise God. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.

  36. Say I am a product. I am a product. I am an evidence

  37. of all that Christ has done. And it's my reality.

  38. Glory to Jesus. Glory to Jesus. Luke 24, verse

    Luke 24:47

  39. 47. The topic that we will have is just an introduction.

  40. Because I've been looking at how we connect it

  41. to what is coming ahead of us. But it's just

  42. an introduction. Amen. The believer's authority

  43. in the name of Jesus. The believer's authority

  44. in what? In the name of what? Jesus. The believer's

  45. authority in the name of Jesus. Is it a name

  46. that we just shout it? When the boss want to,

  47. you know, just slides on the road. When you are

  48. inside the plane and then there's a turbulence.

  49. Is it the name you say? Jesus, Jesus, Jesus,

  50. Jesus. In fact, some people ask Nazareth. Jesus

  51. Christ of Nazareth. Because if they say Jesus,

  52. it's like the thing will not carry power. Say

  53. Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Yes, they have to specify

  54. it. Blood of Jesus, blood of Jesus, blood of

  55. Jesus, blood of Jesus, blood of Jesus. Jesus,

  56. oh Jesus. I don't know whether in Kenya they

  57. call it that way, but in Nigeria, they will call

  58. it in high tone, middle tone, low tone. Is it

  59. actually the calling and then the naming of the

  60. name that is the reality for the believer? Or

  61. there is much more the believer needs to know.

  62. Amen. So that the believer can be able to stand

  63. in the place of that knowledge and operate. Praise

  64. God. So the team is what? The believer's authority

  65. in what? In the name of who? Of Jesus. Say, I

  66. have the name. Say, I have the name. Say, I am

  67. in the name of Jesus. Hallelujah. Glory to God.

  68. So Luke 24, everybody verse 47. Okay. And that

  69. repentance and remission of sins, Shall be preached.

  70. In whose name? In his name among what? All nations

  71. beginning at what? Jerusalem. However let's just

  72. retrace back. Right? To verse 30. Verse 36. Let's

  73. retrace back to 36. Amen. And as they spoke,

  74. Jesus himself stood in the midst of them and

  75. said unto them, do what? Peace be unto you. This

  76. is after resurrection now. Amen? Yes, so this

  77. appearance is after resurrection. Hallelujah.

  78. If somebody is sleeping beside you, please ask

  79. the ushers to bring water. Give the person water

  80. to drink. Were you flying in the night? That

  81. was a joke. But give them water to drink. Amen.

  82. Praise God. But they were terrified and affrighted.

  83. And suppose that they had seen a what? They had

  84. seen a what? Spirit. A ghost. And he said unto

  85. them, why are ye troubled? And why do thoughts

  86. arise in your hearts? He has perceived it. Is

  87. it really Jesus? Are you sure this is Jesus?

  88. Is it a shadow? No, I don't think this is rain.

  89. Remember, somebody said, no, but he told us he

  90. will be raised in the third day. He said, no,

  91. no, I don't think. We have not seen. At least

  92. there should be something miraculous. The clouds

  93. will have gathered. Rain will have fell. We'll

  94. have had thunders. You know, we'll have seen

  95. appearance of angels everywhere. And this is

  96. Jesus we are talking about. So how is it that?

  97. So some could be talking like that in their hearts.

  98. And he has perceived that thought. And he said,

  99. why are you troubled? And why do your thoughts

  100. arise? Why do your thoughts arise in your heart?

  101. Verse 39. Behold my what? My hands and my feet.

  102. That it is I. What? Myself. Hallelujah. Handle

  103. me. And see. For a spirit has not what? Flesh

  104. and what? And bones as ye see me what? Have.

  105. So Jesus came. He had flesh. He had what? He

  106. had bones. So what Christ was already doing,

  107. he was addressing the thought in where? In their

  108. hearts. But in fact, this is not even why Christ

  109. wants to address the thought where? In their

  110. hearts. There's a greater reason why he needs

  111. to address that thought. Hallelujah. Because

  112. already he can perceive unbelief. Amen. Good

  113. now. 30. And when he had thus spoken, he showed

  114. them his hands and his words. And while they

  115. yet believed not. Can you see? Come on now. Pastor

  116. TK told me he will come back again. And he has

  117. appeared. Is this for me to believe him or to

  118. doubt him? To believe him. He has told me, I

  119. have bones. Check it. In fact, there is flesh.

  120. Check it. And still I am what? I am not agreeing

  121. that he is the one. Don't worry. Pastor TK is

  122. not leaving now. He is here. See now what he

  123. said. Verse 42. Verse 41. And while they yet

  124. believe not for joy. Can you see? What were they

  125. supposed to be doing? What were they supposed

  126. to be doing? They should be rejoicing. Glory!

  127. Jesus has risen again. What he told us is now

  128. being fulfilled and it's a reality. But now,

  129. see now. And one that he said unto them, do you

  130. have any what? Me, that's our second evidence.

  131. If he was a spirit or what? Or he has applied

  132. in body, he has appeared in body with bones and

  133. with flesh. You know that thing? There was a

  134. boy that passed away a long time in our area.

  135. We call him Gigi. Gigi in Hausa means grandfather.

  136. So the boy is a small boy, 8 years, 9 years,

  137. but they call him grandfather. He does things

  138. like an elderly person. Right? So you see him

  139. quiet. He just does things like an elderly person.

  140. So he passed away. They buried him around an

  141. area in the house. Every night that the grandmother

  142. would go and put food on the grave, that he comes

  143. out in the night to eat. If you are from Africa,

  144. you will believe some of this or you have heard

  145. some of these things. That he comes out and then

  146. eats the food. I've never seen where they drop

  147. the food. But they told us that in the morning

  148. the plates are empty. That's what they told us.

  149. I announce to you, they don't come out and eat.

  150. Are you hearing what I'm saying? I announce to

  151. you, they don't what? They don't come out and

  152. what? And eat. Dogs must have eaten that food.

  153. Something have finished that food. You see? Jesus

  154. said, do you have what? Meat. Give me. And see

  155. what Christ did. And they gave him a piece of

  156. what? Broiled what? Fish. And of what? And honeycomb.

  157. I don't know. Why they did that? Maybe that's

  158. what they had left. And he took it and did what?

  159. And ate it before them. The food never fell anyway.

  160. It stayed intact. Second evidence, right? At

  161. least they can believe that he is the one. 44.

  162. And he said unto them, These are the words which

  163. I did what? Speak unto you while I was yet with

  164. you that all things must be fulfilled which were

  165. written in the law of Moses and in the prophets

  166. and in Psalms concerning what? Not that I will

  167. rise from the dead and show my hands to you.

  168. Those are not the things that will be fulfilled.

  169. Not that I will rise from the dead and you will

  170. give me boiled fish and honeycomb and I will

  171. eat to prove that I am the one. What Jesus was

  172. saying that the prophets have spoken concerning

  173. him is more than broiled fish and what? And honeycomb.

  174. It's more than him showing his hands so that

  175. they can feel it and his feet. Praise God. 45.

  176. Then open him their understanding that they might

  177. understand the what? The scripture. So you see.

  178. When Christ is speaking about the fulfillment

  179. of the things that were spoken concerning him,

  180. were things spoken from where? From the scriptures.

  181. 46. And said unto them, Thus it is written. Written

  182. in where? Please walk with me. Written in where?

  183. In the scriptures. Right? And thus, what was

  184. written? That it be with Christ to do what? Suffer.

  185. So what is the promise that Christ will do what?

  186. Everyone of us. Christ will Suffer one, rise

  187. from the dead, the what? The third day, 47, all

  188. together, under repentance and what? Remission

  189. of sins shall be preached in whose name? In Christ's

  190. name that suffered and was raised from what?

  191. From the dead, the third day, among two nations,

  192. among Judea, Samaria, Jerusalem, among how many

  193. nations? All nations. But beginning at what?

  194. Jerusalem. And see what he told them. And you

  195. are what? Witnesses of what? Of these things.

  196. Hallelujah. So one of the things that we are

  197. establishing from here. Is that. He said. As

  198. a result of all that have been promised. Spoken

  199. by the prophets in the scriptures. And today.

  200. You are witnesses of them. Witnesses of what?

  201. They are not only witnesses of resurrection.

  202. Their witness is suffering. Hallelujah. Their

  203. witness is death. Hallelujah. And now, above

  204. all, their witnessing is what? Is resurrection.

  205. And he said to them, that he said, why these

  206. things are fulfilled is that repentance and remission

  207. of sins should be what? So which means that if

  208. there was no suffering, there was no death, there

  209. was no burial, there was no raising from the

  210. dead, then there wouldn't be the message of repentance

  211. and remission of sins to be preached among what?

  212. All nations. Are you all with me? Are you all

  213. with me? So the message about repentance and

  214. remission of sins preached to all nations is

  215. a product of Jesus' death, burial and what? Resurrection.

  216. But he said something that was key there. He

  217. said this message should be preached in whose

  218. name? In whose name? In my name. And that is

  219. what we are construing. The believer's authority

  220. in the name of who? Jesus. Now, the word name.

  221. The word name. Name. The word name is from the

  222. Greek word onoma. O -N -O -M -A. The word name

  223. is from the Greek word what? Onoma. N -O -M -A.

  224. So universally, we can refer it to be proper

  225. names that identify different persons. So universally,

  226. Koston, Pastor Takunda, Pastor Frederick, Pastor

  227. Chidi, proper names. Onoma, universally, we use

  228. them, they mean proper names to differentiate

  229. people. All of us in this room cannot be constant.

  230. Amen? All of us in this room cannot be chokobleke.

  231. It's not possible. We cannot be bitter. We cannot

  232. be precious. We cannot be patient. So a proper

  233. name, universally, onoma. Amen? To identify different

  234. persons. Mark. Chapter 3, verse 16. Let's see

    Mark 3:16

  235. that. Mark 3, 16. Mark 3, 16. See what the scripture

  236. says. And Simon, his surname what? Peter. Hallelujah.

  237. And Simon, his surname what? And James, the son

  238. of, can you see proper names to identify individuals?

  239. And John, the brother of James, and his son named

  240. him what? Boaneges, which is the sons of Tonda.

  241. And Andrew, and Philly, and Bartholomew, and

  242. Matthew, and Thomas, and James, the son of Alphaeus,

  243. and Thaddeus, and Simon the what? Canaanite.

  244. And not the least. And Judas. Iscariot. Proper

  245. name. Amen. Hallelujah. Mark 6. 14. 15. Proper

  246. names. Please just walk with me. We are having

  247. a good study this morning. Mark 16. Mark chapter

    Mark 6 chapter mention

  248. 6. Sorry verse 14 to 15. See what the scripture

  249. says. And King Herod heard him. For his name

  250. was spread. What? And he said that John the Baptist

  251. was risen from the dead. And therefore mighty

  252. works do show for themselves where? In him. Whose

  253. name? Jesus' name. It went abroad. Amen. 15.

  254. Others say that it is what? Elijah. And others

  255. say that it is a prophet. Or as one of the what?

  256. One of the prophets. Add this to your writing.

  257. Acts chapter 13 verse 6 to 8. Proper names. Proper

    Acts 13:6–8

  258. names. So, that is universally as proper names.

  259. Amen? Then, onoma can be used figuratively. Onoma

  260. can be used what? Figuratively. Praise God. Onoma

  261. can be used figuratively to mean a person's authority.

  262. A person's what? Authority. So in fact, let me

  263. just move ahead of myself. We can say the believer's

  264. authority in the authority of Jesus. Hallelujah.

  265. Glory to Jesus. The believer's authority in the

  266. authority of who? Of Jesus. A person's authority,

  267. a person's reputation. A person's office. A person's

  268. ability. A person's position. A person's character.

  269. A person's function. I'm going to repeat myself,

  270. don't worry. Onoma can be used figuratively to

  271. mean a person's authority. A person's reputation.

  272. A person's office. A person's ability. A person's

  273. position. A person's character and a person's

  274. what? Function. So we can say this way from our

  275. topic now. Right? The believer's authority in

  276. what? Number one, the believer's authority in

  277. what? This class. The believer's authority in

  278. the authority of Jesus. The believer's authority

  279. in the reputation of Jesus. The believer's authority

  280. in the... Office of Jesus. The believer's authority

  281. in the ability of Jesus. The believer's authority

  282. in the position of Jesus. The believer's authority

  283. in the... The believer's authority in the...

  284. So write this now, this way. Send my authority

  285. in the authority of Jesus. Write it. All that

  286. we have said, now write it. My authority in the

  287. authority of Jesus. My authority in the reputation

  288. of Jesus. My authority in the office of Jesus.

  289. My authority in the ability of Jesus. My authority

  290. in the position of Jesus. My authority in the

  291. character of Jesus. And my authority in the function

  292. of who? Jesus. So one of the things that we are

  293. able to establish that what Jesus told them,

  294. that repentance and remission can only be preached

  295. in whose name? In the name of Jesus, in his name.

  296. Please write this. It's a good point. We're going

  297. to build on it. We're going to build on it. Repentance

  298. and remission of sins can only be established

  299. in the name of Jesus. In fact, that only, please

  300. capitalize it, only in the name of Jesus. Only.

  301. It can never happen in any other name. We can

  302. never see people saved. We can never see this

  303. message preached. Only what? In the name. In

  304. fact, as it's coming to my head, The only license

  305. for repentance and remission of sins to be preached

  306. to all nations is what? The name of Jesus. Hallelujah.

  307. Glory to Jesus. Glory to Jesus. Why? Because

  308. we see, he told them in 46 now, Luke 24, 46.

  309. He said, thus it is written that Christ, To suffer

  310. and to rise from what? The death, the what? The

  311. third day. Why? Because this is the essence of

  312. what has been fulfilled. Amen. There was a promise

  313. that was spoken and we see that now is what?

  314. Is fulfilled. Praise God. So all that Christ

  315. has been speaking is upon his resurrection. Hallelujah.

  316. Glory to God. So we've read a couple of scriptures.

  317. to establish that from Luke, a couple of verses.

  318. Can we go to Luke 22, 24? Let's trace back to

  319. 22 to 24. Luke 24, where we came from. Luke 24,

  320. 22. Yeah, and certain men, yeah, and certain

  321. women also of our company made us astonished,

  322. which were early at the sepulcher. And when they

  323. found not his word, and when they found not his

  324. word, His body, they came saying that they had

  325. also seen a vision of what? Which said that he

  326. was what? Alive, twenty -four. And certain of

  327. them which were with us went to the sepulcher

  328. and found it even so as the women had what? So

  329. which means it was empty. But him they saw what?

  330. They saw not twenty -five. Then he said unto

  331. them, All fools and slow of heart to believe,

  332. all that the prophets have what? what have they

  333. spoken? Ought not Christ to have suffered, right?

  334. The same that we read from 46. Amen? Ought not

  335. Christ to have what? Suffered for it behoved

  336. Christ to suffer, to die and to be raised, right?

  337. Yeah, the third day. Ought not Christ to have

  338. suffered these things and to enter into his what?

  339. Glory. Hallelujah. So which means the resurrection

  340. of Christ is an evidence that Christ has entered

  341. into his what? Praise God. So now, let me say

  342. it this way now. So when we say the believer's

  343. authority in the name of Jesus, what we are saying

  344. is that the believer's authority in the glory

  345. of Jesus. Hallelujah. Glory to God. What we are

  346. saying is the believer's authority in the what?

  347. In the glory of who? The glory of Jesus. My authority

  348. in the glory of Jesus. That's what we are saying.

  349. So, We now see in verse 47, Luke will say in

  350. his name, among how many nations? Among all nations.

  351. So if we are reading in Luke's account, so which

  352. means that we expect that Matthew must have said

  353. something in his name. Because in Matthew, we

  354. also have the resurrection of Jesus, right? So

  355. we should expect that Mark should also tell us

  356. in his what? Name, because Mark. will have written

  357. down about the resurrection of who of jesus we

  358. should expect john to also tell us about what

  359. his name because john will have also spoken about

  360. the what the resurrection of who of jesus and

  361. in his name hallelujah praise god say i am in

  362. the name say i am in the name say i am in the

  363. name i am in the authority of the name of jesus

  364. Mark chapter 16 now, everybody. So far so good.

    Mark 16 chapter mention

  365. Are we all on the same page? Is it clear? So

  366. far is it clear? Do we understand the subject

  367. for today? In his what? In his name. Hallelujah.

  368. Good. And when we say in his name, what do we

  369. mean? His authority. His office. His function.

  370. His ability. His position. His character, glory

  371. to Jesus. Hallelujah. Good. Mark chapter 16 now.

    Mark 16 chapter mention

  372. Mark chapter 16, verse 15 to 17. Everybody, let's

    Mark 16:15–17

  373. read. And he said unto them, go ye into what?

  374. Please, does this look like where we are coming

  375. from, from Luke 24? Repentance and remission

  376. should be preached in his name to how many nations?

  377. Can you see Mark who also writes that, an account?

  378. He said, go ye into what? This is also upon his

  379. resurrection. Hallelujah. And preach the gospel

  380. to how many persons? To everyone. 16. He that

  381. believeth and is baptized shall be saved, but

  382. he that believeth not shall be what? So, two

  383. things now. From Luke, we see repentance and

  384. remission of what? Saints will be preached. One.

  385. Two. We see that in his name. That will be done.

  386. Amen. Three. We now see for how many nations?

  387. All nations. Good. So we see in Mark chapter

    Mark 16 chapter mention

  388. 16. Also verse 15. One. We are seeing all nations.

  389. All the worlds. Two. We are seeing what? What

  390. will be preached to all the world? Gospel. Right?

  391. So the next thing we should look out for is what?

  392. In his name. Praise God. Good. So let's keep

  393. reading down now. He that believeth and is baptized

  394. shall be saved. But he that believeth not shall

  395. do what? And these signs shall what? Follow them

  396. that believe. All together. Can you see? In my

  397. name shall they what? In my name shall they speak.

  398. In my name they shall. And if they drink any

  399. deadly thing. In my name it shall not. In my

  400. name they shall and the sick shall walk. So now,

  401. from Mark now, in Luke, we see repentance and

  402. remission of sins to all nations will be preached.

  403. Amen? So we now move and take it further to see

  404. certain events that will happen in his name again.

  405. We will not only preach the gospel in his name,

  406. but we will see signs, wonders, and miracles

  407. in his what? Are you all with me? So we now see

  408. that he is saying that going to the world, preach

  409. the gospel. He that believes is saved. Not only

  410. that, but in my name also, he that believes shall

  411. speak in what? New tongues. In my name also,

  412. he that believes shall do what? Cast out devils.

  413. In my name also. He that believes shall take

  414. up serpents and he shall not hurt them. In my

  415. name also. He that believes shall lay hands on

  416. the sick and the sick will do what? Recover.

  417. Can you see? So we have taken it further now,

  418. seeing and establishing from Luke to see that

  419. aside that the gospel will be preached, repentance

  420. and remission of sins will be preached in his

  421. name, signs, wonders and miracles will also happen

  422. in his what? In his name. So, we can put it this

  423. way. The believer's authority, the believer's

  424. authority in preaching the gospel to all nations,

  425. number one now, from where we are coming from

  426. now, in Mark. The believer's authority in preaching

  427. the gospel to how many nations? To all nations.

  428. Two, the believer's authority The believer's

  429. authority in the name of Jesus in doing signs,

  430. wonders, and miracles. The believer's authority

  431. in the name of Jesus in doing signs, wonders,

  432. and what? Miracles. This is important, the place

  433. where we're going. So please write it down carefully.

  434. Are we all here? So we see Mark will tell them

  435. to go and what? To preach. Praise God. Glory

  436. to Jesus. So what is preach the gospel? You can

  437. write it down. Preach the gospel. What is preach?

  438. The word preach. The word preach means keruso.

  439. K -E -R -U -S -S -O. The word preach means keruso.

  440. Keruso. K -E -R -U -S -S -O. The word preach

  441. is keruso. And keruso, keruso means to herald.

  442. Herald. Keruso means to herald a public career.

  443. You know town criers? You know town criers in

  444. Nigeria? It's what we call morning cry. You know?

  445. Pastor Emma can relate. You know, Pastor Emma

  446. told us that was one of his edification. You

  447. know, so he now devised a means so that his friends

  448. will not see him. So often, people that do morning

  449. cry, they will carry this megaphone. You know,

  450. while you are changing gears at 5 a .m., that's

  451. when them, they are helping your gears to move.

  452. And you know, Most of them will not teach about,

  453. will not herald the dead burial and resurrection

  454. of Jesus. They will herald hellfire. So a mourning

  455. cry, what mourning cry is like mourning, I don't

  456. know how to put it, like a mourning devotion.

  457. For you that don't do devotion, they will do

  458. mourning devotion for you. So you will hear it

  459. from your room. Right? First, when they come

  460. out of the house, they will start singing songs.

  461. You know, good morning. They will do good morning

  462. Jesus around your streets first. You know, before

  463. they will start reading the book or reading whatever

  464. manual has been given and you must hear them

  465. whether you like it or not. Right? What they

  466. are doing is that they are carouseling the message

  467. they have. They are public criers. The word carousel

  468. is a strong word. They are announcers. They announce

  469. a message. They proclaim a message. That's what

  470. kerusa is in its word. To proclaim. To publish.

  471. Kerusa means to herald, to publish, to proclaim.

  472. So it means whenever there is a kerusa, people

  473. must see and people must hear. You hear what

  474. I say? People must what? See and people must

  475. what? Hear. When there is a publishing, people

  476. must see and people must what? Hear. Jesus will

  477. tell John the Baptist, the disciples of John

  478. the Baptist, he said, go and tell him what you

  479. have seen and what you have heard. When there

  480. is a heralding of a message, people must hear

  481. and people must what? Must see. Keruso. And keruso

  482. is only done by speaking. Do you hear what I

  483. said? Keruso is only established or achieved

  484. by what? By speaking. By speaking. So we know

  485. what keruso is, right? Then the next thing now

  486. Jesus will tell them is to now preach the gospel.

  487. So write the gospel. What is the gospel? The

  488. word the gospel in Greek word is euagelion. E

  489. -U -A E -U -A G -G -E -L -I -O -N Euagelion.

  490. E -U -A -G -G -E -L -I -O -N. Let me repeat myself.

  491. The word gospel is E -U -A -G -G -E -L -I -O

  492. -N. Which implies good message. Hallelujah. Good

  493. message. Good news. Glad tidings. That word,

  494. you. E -U. You don't say, you're a jailer, right?

  495. That word, E -U. In you means good will. Good,

  496. well. That word in you, in Greek means what?

  497. Good, well. Glad. Then agelion. Agelion means

  498. angelos. Angelos means messengers. Hallelujah.

  499. So when we combine your agelion, it means what?

  500. Messengers with good will, with a message that

  501. is good. Praise God. So when we say keruso, we

  502. combine keruso and eugelion, it means messengers,

  503. angelos, eugelion, right? Angels, messengers

  504. that carry what? Good message, right? And they

  505. do what? They publish it. They proclaim it. So

  506. what Christ will tell his disciples, he said

  507. repentance and what? Remission of sins will be

  508. preached to what? in all nations. And now, verse

  509. 47, he said, and ye are witnesses. He said, what

  510. Jesus now is saying to them is that, ye are the

  511. angels that will carry this everywhere. No wonder

  512. in Acts chapter 1, verse 8, he will still tell

    Acts 1:8

  513. them the same thing. He said, and ye shall receive

  514. power of the Holy Ghost that has come upon you,

  515. and ye are my witnesses for this gospel. You

  516. preach it to them, Judea, Samaria, Jerusalem,

  517. and where? All the nations of the earth. Hallelujah.

  518. Say, I am the messenger. I am the messenger of

  519. Christ. And I herald his message to all nations.

  520. Hallelujah. That's your authority in Christ Jesus.

  521. Praise God. So, scriptures about Jerusalem. Let's

  522. just add this now as references. Matthew 3, verse

    Matthew 3:1

  523. 1. Cherusso, Cherusso. These are references for

  524. Cherusso. References for Cherusso. Now, scriptures

  525. as references for Cherusso. Matthew 3, verse

    Matthew 3:1

  526. 1. It says, in those days came John the Baptist.

  527. Doing what? Proclaiming in the wilderness of

  528. what? Of Judea. Yes. 4, verse 17. Matthew 4,

    Matthew 4:17

  529. verse 17. Matthew 4, verse 17. Very fast. From

    Matthew 4:17

  530. that time, Jesus began to do what? To publish

  531. and proclaim and to say, repent for the kingdom

  532. of heaven is what? Is at hand. Let's add these

  533. scriptures now. Matthew 4 .23 Matthew 4 .23 Matthew

  534. 10 .7 Matthew 10 .7 Acts 8 .5 Acts 8 .5 And then

  535. Romans chapter 10, verse 14 to 15. Romans chapter

    Romans 10:14–15 Romans 10:14–15

  536. 10, verse 14 to 15. All this is talking about

  537. what? Proclaiming, heralding, praise God. Then

  538. your Agelion, references for your Agelion. References

  539. for your Agelion. Mark 1, verse 1. Give us Mark

    Mark 1:1 Mark 1:1

  540. chapter 1, verse 1. Mark 1, verse 1. See what

    Mark 1:1

  541. the scripture says. The beginning of what? The

  542. beginning of the good news. Of who? Of Jesus

  543. Christ. The what? The son of God. Hallelujah.

  544. Mark chapter 1 verse 14. Mark chapter 1 verse

    Mark 1:14 Mark 1:14–15

  545. 14 to 15. Now, after John was put in the prison,

  546. Jesus came to Galilee preaching the gospel, the

  547. good news of what? Of the kingdom of God. At

  548. this now, 8 verse 35. Mark 8 verse 35. Mark 8

    Mark 8:35 Mark 8:35

  549. verse 35. Romans 1 verse 1. Romans 1 verse 1.

    Romans 1:1 Romans 1:1

  550. Amen. Romans 1 verse 1. Romans 1 verse 16. Glory

    Romans 1:1 Romans 1:16

  551. to God. Hallelujah. So let's go to Mark 16 verse

    Mark 16:14

  552. 14 now. Mark 16 verse 14. Mark 16 verse 14. See

    Mark 16:14 Mark 16:14

  553. what the scripture says. Unbelief and hardness

  554. of what? Of heart. Do you remember we saw this

  555. similar thing in Luke? They had unbelief. He

  556. said, touch my arm bone and flesh. Give me food

  557. to eat. Right? But see now. How did Jesus upbraid

  558. them? Upbraided them with their unbelief and

  559. hardness of heart because they believed not them

  560. which had seen him after he was what? Reason.

  561. Praise God. So, that word, he upbraided them,

  562. or he upbraided their unbelief and hardness of

  563. heart, it means to correct by pointing out a

  564. serious fault. That word, to upbraid, is not

  565. a word that is referring Jesus was angry. I told

  566. you three days I'm going to be raised from the

  567. dead. No, no, no, no, no, no. What Jesus did,

  568. that word, to upbraid their unbelief and hardness

  569. of heart, is onidizo, O -N -E -I -D -I -Z -O.

  570. It means to correct. So what Christ did is that

  571. he corrected their minds by pointing out a serious

  572. fault. And how did he correct their mind by pointing

  573. out the fault of unbelief? What did he do? He

  574. brought to their understanding a knowledge that

  575. was not there. Praise God. How did Jesus correct

  576. their unbelief? How did he upbraid them? He brought

  577. to their understanding, right? A knowledge that

  578. was not what? That was not there before. Because

  579. they believed not them which had seen him after

  580. he was what? He was risen. Hallelujah. Are we

  581. all there? So now, let's see Matthew 28 verse

    Matthew 28:19

  582. 19. Matthew 28, verse 19. Matthew 28, verse what?

    Matthew 28:19

  583. 19. From verse 18, everybody. And Jesus said,

  584. Jesus came and spoke unto them saying, all power

  585. is given unto me in heaven and in what? And in

  586. the earth. So, we have seen Luke's account, right?

  587. We have seen Mark's account, right? We are looking

  588. at Matthew's what? I count now. So what we expect

  589. to see in Matthew, we should see him talking

  590. about all nations. We should see him talking

  591. about preaching the gospel. We should see him

  592. talking about what? In his name. Hallelujah.

  593. Good. So, verse 18. And Jesus came and spoke

  594. unto them, saying, All power is given unto me

  595. in heaven and in what? And in earth. 19. Go ye

  596. therefore and teach all nations. Hallelujah.

  597. Baptizing them in the name of what? the Father

  598. and of the Son and of the what? Of the Holy Ghost,

  599. 20 now. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever

  600. I have commanded you and lo, I am with you always

  601. even unto the end of what? Of the world. Hallelujah.

  602. We appreciate you being here today. We hope you
