What to Know Before a Believers Conference (Part 1)

10 the title of the teaching or the exhortation

or the encouragement is what to know before a

believers conference so what we need to know

before a believers conference when there's a

conference like this coming up what we need to

know is also valid for every believers meeting

you attend that you know what you are going there

to do that we understand what we are coming together

for think about so if i enjoy the teaching what

of the coin which is like what to know right

before a believers conference you see one of

the things I believe that is very valuable to

yourself and myself is our time right? very precious

that when we go to a place we get the value of

is necessary to know certain things when you

are coming to a believers meeting, when you are

coming to a conference, when you are coming to

church for service, when you are coming to a

place of prayer. There are certain things that

must be set in place. It helps our mind to receive.

Right? It's like a student attending or enrolling

for a program. With no intention of what they

will come out with They have no idea that there

will be a certificate at the end. They have no

idea that there's a transcript It means that

the student is just there for just for the long

run But when you enroll with an understanding

You will be able to catch everything that that

institution has provided for you. Have it together

But when you don't go there without understanding

some things will be passing you by Including

you know the grades it's the same when we come

to spiritual things are much more important that

when we come together There is something That

we must know so that we can receive in abundance

what God has for us Are we together so that we

can receive in abundance what God has for us?

Hebrews 10 verse verse 24. It says, and let us

consider one another to provoke unto love and

to good works. Let us consider one another to

provoke. That what provoke is to steer up one

another unto love and good works. And this year

we know that the theme of the church is greater

works. Greater works through the Spirit of God.

Greater works in the Holy Ghost. So one of the

things that we must know is that in a believer's

conference We are coming together to steer each

other up in love and for good works We are coming

to steer each other up in love unto love and

for good works It means that it is not the pastors

that will do it alone You will participate in

the steering Do you get it? You will participate

in the sharing when we come together We stay

each other up for good for good works for good

works and that good works Starts from the works

of ministry. It is the work of ministry Now come

on right down because people might be asking

you what is this believers conference? I just

try to craft out a definition after examining,

you know yesterday when pastors missing and this

was like We're realizing that it's like the seventh

year of the same believers conference like the

seventh year of holding this meeting here in

here out and We can see The move of God we can

see the revelation of God we can see the power

of God in every of our meetings So as we come

together to stay each other up unto love and

when you come to a meeting when you come to church

when you come next week what we're trying to

do this morning is to shape our expectation to

make us know what we need to know so that when

things are happening you won't say ah this is

strange you know there was a time jesus was teaching

and he healed someone and because of the teaching

and the healing the people there said we have

seen a strange thing today we are shaping our

expectations i won't say that so that we will

be participants in what God is doing in that

meeting so just a quick summary of what we've

known before right a quick summary of what we've

known before and we'll give an illustration of

a people that had a meeting with God you know

just as we have our believers meeting there's

some people in the scriptures they had a meeting

with God in fact God called them for a meeting

and we can learn what we need to know in a believers

conference the believers meeting from that so

let's write down the first and the most important

that we always emphasize is the teaching meeting

right the teaching meeting so from next week

one of the things that will be seen is that there

will be a lot of teaching hours from next week

a lot of teaching hours so teaching meeting Means

one person is teaching and others are listening

and writing They're listening they're writing.

So the first thing is the teaching meeting Where

others are listening and one person is teaching

now, why do we have a teaching meeting? I'm gonna

give scriptures for that. Well, I need to tell

us why why is there extensive time of teaching?

When Paso Victor was praying he said sometimes

the will of God is not popular You must know

that that's sometimes the will of God is not

it means that is not is not common among people

Is the times will come when many would draw back?

from the correct doctrine of Christ and That

scripture says your duty is to what to preach

the word so in a believers meeting that is a

teaching meeting right sorry teaching meeting

one of the reasons why we have it is for persuasion

and convincing so you can write it down we have

teaching meetings for persuasion you need to

be persuaded you know sometimes when we teach

salvation we can teach it one hour here sometimes

we can teach it you know extensively maybe two

hours here but in this meeting we're going to

teach for hours so it is for persuasion for persuasion

for convincing So that you will be fully convinced

that nobody will be able to change your mind

pertaining the will of God for your life I Say

it again that we will teach the world that you

will be so convinced and so Persuaded that nobody

will be able to change your mind regarding the

will of God for your life Let's go to acts Let's

go to the book of Acts. There are many scriptures,

right? Acts 17 Acts 17 10 to 12. Acts 17 10 to

12. Let's start with that. Persuasion And the

brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas

by night unto Berea who considered went into

the synagogue of the Jews next They were more

noble than those in Thessalonica in that they

received the word with all readiness of mind

and such the scriptures daily whether those things

were so 12 Therefore many of them believed also

of the honorable women which were Greeks and

of men not a few not a few now this was Paul

going into the synagogues to teach It is not

a one day thing. A series of, of course the scriptures

just put it within two few verses. But one thing

that is sure there is that it was a teaching

meeting. That these people had to go and go back

and search themselves. And they were convinced

and they believed. And said not a few believed.

Not a few believed. Not a few believed. Acts

18. Verse 24 to 28 but many believed act 18 Act

grace then 28 for he mightily did what? Convince

the Jews and that's publicly Showing by the scriptures

that Jesus was Christ This was someone who was

already preaching who was already engaging in

the synagogues but he did what he convinced mightily

convinced so one of the essence of teaching extensively

is that beyond reasonable doubts you are able

to convince others from your conviction because

you are convinced you are able to do what you

are able to persuade others you barely persuade

others when you are not persuaded You cannot

persuade others when you're not persuaded But

when you are persuaded it helps you to persuade

others to tell others Christ is the Messiah Acts

19 Acts 19 But when divers were hardened and

believe not but speck evil I think we can start

from verse 8 verse 8 Acts 19 verse 8 and he went

into the synagogue and specked boldly for the

space of three months disputing and persuading

the things concerning the kingdom of God who

was that? that was Paul that was Paul he said

he went into the synagogue and specked boldly

base of three months we just have one week and

we want to see how much we can do hallelujah

we just have one week right maybe there will

be a time when it will be three months i believe

it's possible when we will be persuading people

concerning the things that pertain to the kingdom

of god so few hours in caratismos is few Six

hours per day is just few, and we pray. So in

teaching meeting, the essence is for us to be

convinced beyond reasonable doubt. To be convinced,

to be persuaded. The next one, just a prayer

meeting. Prayer meeting, which we have prayer

meeting. Prayer meeting. You write scriptures

1 to 2 what happens in this kind of meeting is

that people are stirred up the examples of the

scriptures we found is that people are stirred

up for the work of ministry to have boldness

to preach the word so they pray for boldness

they pray for boldness they are stirred up all

are all praying everybody praying together When

we begin to pray together we steer each other

up in the Holy Ghost We steer each other up in

the Holy Ghost We steer each other up so in the

week coming we will see abundance of this We

have prayers in the morning. We have prayers

in the evening. We have prayers all through While

the word has been taught you can be praying under

your breath when the time for prayer comes you

can pray The essence is that it helps you to

also receive the word effectively When you're

praying under your breath while the word is coming

you receive the word more effectively. It means

you are actively participating So in prayer meetings,

which we also have in this hour meeting Everybody

prays, oil is filled, oil is teared up, oil receive

direction Let's go to 1 Corinthians 14 1 Corinthians

14 26. I think I'm running too fast but... So

when you come together, how is it then brother?

When you come together, every one of you had

a psalm, had a doctrine, had a tongue, had a

revelation, had an interpretation. Let all things

be done unto edifying. Let all things be done

unto edifying. Now in prayer meetings... We have

the expressions of the Holy Ghost as well Okay

in prayer meetings. We have the expression of

the Holy Ghost We have demonstrations among believers

We have demonstrations among believers So while

prayer is going on right we're gonna have this

demonstrations We can have this Holy Ghost time

where we receive the word. Now it says when you

come together every one of you are a psalm, a

doctrine, a tongue, a revelation. You have an

interpretation. Sometimes when we start a prayer

meeting it turns to an Holy Ghost meeting. Right?

We start praying, we start praying, we start

praying and before we know we start ministering

to each other. So prayer meeting can actually

become an Holy Ghost meeting. As we just sit

down to pray. I will begin to receive the word.

I'll begin to minister to one another. Now, another

one you can write is healing and healing meetings,

healing meetings. I actually thought it's healing

and miracle meetings, but healing meetings is

fine. Now, while in the caratismos, we are not

emphasizing this that much. right we're not actually

emphasizing you know we're not giving time to

teach about healing i don't think that teaching

will come or calling people out i mean or going

out rather going out or bringing people there's

something you must know about when the teaching

meeting is taking place so others meeting it's

not like they are so exclusively separated right

sometimes you're having a teaching right and

The teaching is going on and by the leading of

the Holy Ghost we just stop and it becomes a

healing meeting. And we begin to teach about

healing and we begin to heal on that spot. Luke

Luke 5:17–26

5 verse 17 to 26. Luke 5 verse 17 to 26. This

is Jesus. And it came to pass on a certain day

as he was teaching that there were Pharisees

and doctors of the law sitting by so we see that

this is a teaching meeting for Jesus right go

to the next verse and behold men brought a man

in bed a man which was taken with palsy and they

sought means to bring him in to lay him before

him so while Jesus was in a teaching meeting

someone was in need and that need was what was

met Do you get it? So while pastors will be teaching

there will be series of teaching taking place

you must Be perceiving that as that teaching

is taking place something Needs will be met Healing

will take place Direction will be given remember

that scripture that we used to read that While

Paul while Peter yet speak the Holy Ghost did

what it fell on them while Peter was teaching

So while teaching is taking, that's why we give

teaching priority. A lot of priority. So that

while we are teaching, you also knowing now that

while teaching is going, you can receive. Within

you, you are praying under your breath and you

are receiving healing. Go to verse 26. We knew

this man receive his healing. Go to verse 26.

It says, and they were all amazed and they glorified

God. That was after Jesus healed him. And they

were filled with fear, saying, we have seen strange

things today. We have done what? We have seen

strange things today in Cardatismus. Strange

things will happen. Say strange things will happen.

We will do strange things by the Holy Ghost.

We know those things are not strange. Healing

is not strange. Having clarity and direction

is not strange. Hearing the voice of God is not

strange. But it will call a strange things so

mighty and miraculous things will happen as the

teaching is taking place I'm using this to set

your expectation so that when you come and you

sit down You will not just be waiting for the

word was you are receiving the word you are perceiving

within your spirit You are receiving the word

within your spirit. You are believing God that

healing is taking place. You're receiving direction

Confusion is taking away Do you want to make

decisions? As the man of God will be teaching

you are receiving clarity So we will experience

this but we experience healing in this meeting

we experience healing in this meeting Now another

meeting that we have is the evangelistic meeting

which Cataclysm will prepare us very well this

believers conference will prepare us very well

because we're gonna teach about how to answer

questions As someone ever asked you, why not

Islam? Why not Buddhism? Why not Scientology?

As someone ever asked you that question, why

did you choose the Christian faiths? As someone

ever confronted you with this question, that

what if you were not born in a Christian home?

We would explain thoroughly. empowering each

and every one of us for evangelism hallelujah

for evangelism while it's not exactly an evangelistic

meeting because we might not have more of people

unbelievers coming in or going out to meet them

but there's empowerments for you to hold an evangelistic

meeting wherever you go there'll be many people

traveling home right after the meeting there'll

be many people going back to their countries

so what you should pick in this meeting is that

I want to pick something that I can hold an evangelistic

meeting in my community and men will be saved.

Let's go to Acts 8. This is the empowerment that

we are given. It said, therefore, they that were

scattered abroad went where they were preaching,

went where they were preaching the word you know

and I was like well for us there's no persecution

scattering us abroad but graduation is scattering

us abroad right hallelujah graduation is sending

us forth is scattering us abroad we have many

people everywhere that have been part of this

believers meeting for several years and whether

we like it or not sooner or later some of us

here most of us here will also be scattered abroad

what will you be doing abroad in the country

you are desiring to go what will you be doing

Will you just go there and you will turn it to

a place of you know economic Stability and all

of that. No much more Importantly is that you

will go wherever you are going doing what preaching

the word You go wherever you're going doing what

preaching that is why this meeting is there,

you know That's why we're encouraging people

risk. I do your flight do this do that because

it will launch you into starting up meetings

like evangelistic meetings now let's see you

know while I was preparing this someone a brother's

name came to my mind and I'm going to read it

when we finish all right let's read verse 5 it

says then Philip went down to the city of Samaria

and preached Christ unto them And the people

which one accord gave heed you see people will

listen to you never doubt it someone say oh What

what if I preach and nobody listen people will

listen to you because it is the power of God

It is the power of God You know sometimes when

we go for evangelism in city center one of the

first thing is what if the person says no What

if person doesn't want to hear what if I don't

have time what if people will listen to you?

You know when you go with so many people they

say I don't have time and you beg them for two

three minutes and they will give you that time

but they never had time right because you want

to share something that is very important with

them so people will listen to you you must know

that men from every nation will listen to you

after you have been equipped and strengthened

is that and people which one i could give heed

onto those things which philip speak hearing

and seeing the miracles which you did for unclean

spirits crying with loud voice came out of many

that were possessed with them and many taken

with palsies and that were lame were healed and

there was great joy in that city hallelujah this

is what we read it is because there was a preaching

of the gospel signs and wonders following and

what there was great joy in that cities they

said the disciples also rejoice so Men will always

seek the gospel from you. Did you hear that?

Men, they might not know it. They might not even

know it. See, they would always seek the gospel

from you. Because when you present it, they will

know that is the power of God. Verse five. So

in verse five, you can replace it with your name.

and the name that I said you know while I was

teaching and I was preparing the teaching that

came to my mind that came to my mind was I said

then verse 5 then Prince went down to the city

of Monrovia where's brother Prince? okay brother

Prince you are there yes so you are the one that

came to my prayer you know you what I just I

didn't even know Monrovia and Samaria sounded

alike you know but when I was preparing the teaching

your name just kept coming to my mind not because

you are the one in charge of evangelism sincerely

not that but it just came that priests went down

to the city of Moravia and you preach Christ

unto them so you can insert your name inside

the place you're going that after this meeting

I will go into a city and I will with boldness

preach with boldness people that have been worried

about sharing with people that have been thinking

would they hear me with boldness I would go I

will hold an evangelistic meeting Now the last

one is The Holy Ghost meeting which is the last

day of the catatismos The Holy Ghost meeting

which is the last day which is more or less prayer

meeting you will observe that what we do is we

pray and we have the Holy Ghost meeting we pray

and We have the Holy Ghost that's why I say praying

and Holy Ghost meeting they flow together prayer

meeting and Holy Ghost meeting flow together

at the spot of the moment, while you are praying

in the Holy Ghost, while you are praying, the

Holy Ghost within your spirit begins to tell

you what you're praying about. It's an experience

that is real. It's an experience that is real

that when you begin to pray in tongues Within

your spirits you will receive what you're paying

about you will receive instructions You will

receive clarity on what you're praying about

On the spot of the moment by the Holy Ghost so

we can say That's karatis most is the power packed

You know power pack meeting those that we used

to go power pack you see drama you see singing

you see choreography and all of that While those

sustained and lasted for those moments we are

sure that these meetings this expression this

kind of Occurrences and meetings in our conference

is what makes it power pack This is what makes

it power pack that men can run Men can fly men

can do greater works for God after the meeting
