  1. Welcome to NECF sermons. Each message here is

  2. designed to uplift and strengthen you in your

  3. walk with God. Don't miss out. Stay with us until

  4. the end for a rewarding experience. Let's dive

  5. right in. for what will be happening in our Believers

  6. Conference. To set our expectation for what will

  7. be happening in our Believers Conference. I want

  8. to believe that we all agree that this Believers

  9. Conference that we have been holding yearly is

  10. actually... You know, God called himself for

  11. us to gather and be strengthened, right? How

  12. many of us believe that that was actually the

  13. move of God? How many of us believe that it's

  14. the leading of God, right? We believe that that

  15. is the leading of God. That is God calling us

  16. together to fellowship, calling us to do what

  17. he wants to do in that season, in every season.

  18. we can see that it's a form of a call to, you

  19. know, assemble together, right? The Believer's

  20. Conference, you know, just continuing clarifying

  21. that, that is a call of God to assemble together

  22. and we have these different forms of meetings.

  23. It's God's call, you know, bringing us together

  24. to assemble together, to hold the meeting with

  25. Him, you know, having these different... Forms

  26. of meetings. As we explained on Sunday. So today.

  27. We want to see. So the sermon again. Is what

  28. you know before I believe. Just a continuation

  29. from Sunday. So we want to see. When God called

  30. some people. For an assembly. Or when God told

  31. people to gather. Right. What are the things

  32. that we can learn. From these gatherings. Right.

  33. How did people conduct themselves in such gatherings?

  34. What happened in such, is it just a random gathering?

  35. What happened in those gatherings? Were they

  36. blessed? Were they not blessed? What were, you

  37. know, the things that the people in those gatherings

  38. did that made them to believe and to walk with

  39. God or what they did not understand? So what

  40. you're trying to check is when God called people

  41. for a gathering, right? What happens there? And

  42. that should also give us an expectation, right?

  43. For what we are looking forward to in our charatismus,

  44. in our believers conference, right? So when God

  45. calls people, what happens in those gatherings?

  46. Does everybody just come? They jump around, they

  47. do whatsoever they want to do. Everybody can

  48. lead, you know. What happens in those gatherings?

  49. All right, we're going to use the story of the

  50. Israelites in Exodus 19. Exodus 19, we're going

  51. to use that to see when God calls the people

  52. to gather, what are the things that are involved?

  53. Yes, what are the things that are involved? And

  54. what should be the position of the believer?

  55. What should be the posture of the believer in

  56. such kind of meetings? Exodus 19 from verse 1

  57. to 6. Now we're going to Exodus 20, but we have

  58. to start from verse 19. Because verse 19 gives

  59. us the preamble or the background of what is

  60. happening in Exodus 20, right? So we start from

  61. Exodus 19, verse one to six. It said, in the

  62. third month, when the children of Israel were

  63. gone forth out of the land of Egypt, and the

  64. same day came they into the wilderness of Sinai.

  65. For they were departed from Rephidim, and were

  66. come to the desert of Sinai. and a pitch in the

  67. wilderness, and there Israel camped before the

  68. mount. And Moses went up unto God, and the Lord

  69. called unto him out of the mountain, saying,

  70. Thou, thus shalt thou say to the house of Jacob,

  71. and tell the children of Israel, Yea, I have

  72. seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and now I

  73. bear you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto

  74. myself. Now therefore, If ye will obey my voice

  75. and indeed keep my commandments, then ye shall

  76. be a peculiar treasure unto me. Above all, above

  77. all people, for all the earth is mine. And ye

  78. shall be unto me a kingdom of priests and a holy

  79. nation. These are the words which thou shalt

  80. speak unto the children of Israel. Right? These

  81. are the words that you will speak unto the children

  82. of Israel. So this is the background of what's

  83. happened in Exodus 20. Tell the people, let them

  84. come up. This is what I want to do. And that

  85. was clear. Now, we can say this is God's intention

  86. for the people, right? This is God's intention

  87. for the people, for this assembly. Verse 5 and

  88. 6. verse 5 and 6, that when they obey his voice

  89. and indeed keep his commandment, then there shall

  90. be a peculiar treasure unto him above all people

  91. for all their disease. And there shall be a kingdom

  92. of priests and a holy nation. These are the words

  93. that thou shalt speak, meaning Moses will speak

  94. to the children of Israel. So we can say this

  95. is God telling them what he wants to do. So God's

  96. intention, right? We're going to see that God's

  97. intention. Now, This is also similar to a meeting

  98. or a gathering that Christ also said. Of course,

  99. what was happening in those two places were different.

  100. But you can just put 1 Peter 2 verse 5, because

    1 Peter 2:5

  101. this is quite very similar to that 1 Peter 2

    1 Peter 2:5

  102. verse 5, which we saw there. Let's read that

  103. scripture. 1 Peter 2, verse 5, verse 9. For here

    1 Peter 2:5

  104. are living stones and are built up as a spiritual

  105. house, a holy priesthood to offer up sacrifices,

  106. spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God through

  107. Jesus Christ. Through Jesus Christ. Good. So

  108. we see that here, just go back, yes, just turn

  109. that back. They are living stones, they are built

  110. up as a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, right?

  111. So it's talking about a believer here, it's talking

  112. about the church, it's talking about the body,

  113. right, of Christ. And it says, They are a holy

  114. priesthood to offer up spiritual sacrifices.

  115. So this was also God's intention, right, for

  116. Israel from that Genesis, from that Exodus 19.

  117. This was God's intention that there will be a

  118. priesthood that will offer spiritual sacrifices,

  119. right, unto God. Okay, good. So one more scripture

  120. and we'll move from there. So if you go to verse...

  121. 9 of that same 1 Peter 2, right? It says, But

  122. ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood,

  123. an holy nation, a peculiar people, that ye should

  124. show forth the praises of him who hath called

  125. you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

  126. So we see the same word, priesthood, a holy nation,

  127. a peculiar people that we find in Exodus 19.

  128. What we found in Exodus 19, verse 5 and 6, right?

    Exodus 19:5

  129. We found it in 2 Peter, 1 Peter 2, verse 6, from

    1 Peter 2:6

  130. 5 to 9. So we see that this is God's intention

  131. and this is what God wants to do when he calls

  132. us meeting. This is God's intention. Now let's

  133. go to Exodus 19, 7 to 9. 7 to 9. And Moses came

  134. and called for the elders. of the people and

  135. laid before their faces all those words, right?

  136. All laid before their faces, all those words,

  137. which the Lord commanded him. And all the people

  138. answered together and said, all that the Lord

  139. has spoken, we will do. And Moses returned the

  140. words of the people unto the Lord. And the Lord

  141. said unto Moses, Lord, I will come unto thee

  142. in a thick cloud that the people may hear when

  143. I speak with thee and believe thee forever. And

  144. Moses told, The words of the Lord. Right? Unto

  145. the people. Right? Unto the people. So, what

  146. God wants to do is actually to speak to them.

  147. Okay? God wants to speak to them. So, God has

  148. the intention of speaking, right, to them. God

  149. has the intention of speaking to them. And the

  150. end result is that they might believe. Okay?

  151. The end result is that they might. So, we see

  152. that this is God speaking. Right? This is God

  153. speaking. Caesar, I will speak to you and the

  154. people will hear. It means that the people will

  155. be there when God is speaking to Moses and they

  156. will hear. Right? In Exodus 20, we realize that

  157. the aim was for God to speak to them, that they

  158. can also hear God directly. Right? They can hear

  159. God directly. Now, so in the presence of Moses,

  160. note that I am intentionally saying in the presence

  161. of Moses, the people will hear. In the presence

  162. of Moses, the people will hear. I'm saying that

  163. very categorically. Reason? Because we're going

  164. to come to some things that we are trying to

  165. put in place for the meeting. And when we come

  166. to that lesson, we'll cross it. So just put it

  167. here as how God will do what he will do. 7 -9.

  168. How God will do what he will do. How God will

  169. do what he will do. And the outcome of it is

  170. that the people should believe. So first, we

  171. see God's intention. God's intention. You see

  172. 2 -7 -9. How God will do what he will do. And

  173. I said emphasis in the prayers of Moses. God

  174. will speak to the people in that meeting, in

  175. that assembly, in that gathering. Okay? The third

  176. one, verse 10 to 11. Verse 10 to 11. It says,

  177. And the Lord said unto Moses, Go unto the people

  178. and sanctify them today and tomorrow, and let

  179. them wash their clothes, and be ready against

  180. the third day. For on the third day the Lord

  181. will come down in the sight of all the people

  182. upon the Mount Sinai. Right? So, you see, people

  183. have to get ready. Right? So, they are coming

  184. to an assembly. They are coming to a meeting.

  185. Right? They are not just going to come up, turn

  186. up anyhow. They are going to be ready. We see

  187. the word ready there. Right? They are going to

  188. be ready to come to this assembly. There is a

  189. way they will appear in this assembly. There

  190. is a way they will appear in this meeting. And

  191. that has been communicated to them. So, this

  192. is preparation. Right? This is preparation. This

  193. is preparation. This is preparation. So we see

  194. they are taking grace. Now verse 17, it says,

  195. And Moses brought forth the people out of the

  196. camp to meet with God, and they stood at the

  197. near part of the mount. So under the leadership

  198. of Moses, they came to the assembly. They came

  199. to the meeting. They came to hear God, right?

  200. They came to be blessed. They came to receive

  201. what God's intention for them is. Right. This

  202. is what we see. This is what we see. So haven't

  203. clarified that this is like the foundation of

  204. what is happening in Exodus 20. Right. So we

  205. can proceed. Right. We can proceed and see what

  206. we can pick. Right. What we can pick from here.

  207. What we can pick from here. Just number them

  208. in certain ways. But we will be able to pick

  209. our own understanding and lessons. as we go into

  210. our believers meeting. So firstly, there is a

  211. leader in this meeting, okay? So we would pick

  212. this, right? I haven't understand this background.

  213. Before we go to whether they believe or they

  214. didn't believe, of course, we know the story

  215. in Exodus 20, right? What we can see here, firstly,

  216. is that there's a leader in this meeting. It

  217. is not a random meeting where there is no leader.

  218. That will be chaos. That will be disorder, okay?

  219. There is a leader in this meeting. In this meeting.

  220. That is the first thing. So we can call this

  221. leader the priest. It's the priest, right? The

  222. priest is the one that is the religious, I mean,

  223. Moses is the leader and you can call him the

  224. priest in this case. You can call him the priest.

  225. Now, you would observe that what God wants to

  226. do, right, in that meeting, if you go back to

  227. verse 6, is that Ye shall be unto me a kingdom

  228. of priests. It means all of them will become

  229. priests under the leadership of, in quotes, a

  230. priest called Moses. Okay? So all of them will

  231. become a priest under the leadership of Moses,

  232. who is the leader, is a priest as well. And what

  233. we see is that although God's intention is that

  234. all of them will be priests, right? he will still,

  235. Moses will still be the leader. There's a leader

  236. there. He's not removing Moses as the leader,

  237. right? But what he's doing through Moses, he

  238. can do through them. Okay? What he's doing through

  239. Moses, he can do through them. So in our context,

  240. we can say that our pastors, you know, are the

  241. leaders leading this meeting, leading and calling

  242. us to come to understand God's intention. Okay?

  243. We can say our leader is the priest, the lead

  244. pastor. He's actually the priest, the pastor,

  245. the lead pastor of the church. And he has a chief

  246. pastor helping them. Of course, Moses also had

  247. people who, just before that, verse 19, or chapter

  248. 19, okay? Just before that chapter 19, in verse

  249. 18, Moses had actually, right, sorry, in chapter

  250. 18, Moses had actually appointed people in verse

  251. 20, chapter 18, verse 24 and 25. So Moses hacking

  252. to the voice of his father -in -law. So it means

  253. that there's a leader and there are people supporting

  254. him, right? And we have our six pastors here.

  255. And also everyone that will lead on that day,

  256. right? They are our leaders. They are our leaders.

  257. So what is our duty? Our duty is actually to

  258. follow the instruction of the leader, right?

  259. So when we are given instructions on that day,

  260. our job is actually to follow the instruction

  261. at the spot of the moment, right? To follow the

  262. instruction of now. If you observe the story

  263. of Israel, which probably we are going to get

  264. to, one of the challenges that they had, right,

  265. was following Moses. That was one major challenge

  266. they had, right? If you cannot believe and God

  267. has given you a good leader who has believed,

  268. One of the things is you follow them very closely.

  269. So in this kind of meeting, we have to follow

  270. our pastors very closely. As they are rejoicing,

  271. as they are praying, as they are studying, as

  272. they are writing, as they are ministering, we

  273. must follow them closely. When they say, do this,

  274. we follow. We obey the instructions. We give

  275. ourselves to the things of the Spirit. When they

  276. tell you hold someone, you do it effectively.

  277. So instructions will be given. Instructions will

  278. be given. By being an active participant, we

  279. are blessed. By being an active participant in

  280. this meeting, we are blessed. Another thing that

  281. we see is that the intention of God is made known

  282. in our meeting. So the intention of God is made

  283. known in our meeting. is what? Who knows the

  284. team for the Believers Conference? Greater works,

  285. right? And we'll be coming from the beginning

  286. of the year with this same team. So it means

  287. that this is like full -long activation, right?

  288. Let's call it that way. A full -long activation,

  289. right, for greater works. A full -long activation

  290. for greater works. So the intention has been

  291. known. How did we know the intention? We knew

  292. the intention through our little pastor. We didn't

  293. wake up and create intention. for ourselves,

  294. you know, like Miriam and others who said, has

  295. God been, is it only God, is it only Moses that

  296. God has been speaking to, right? They wanted

  297. to create their own calm, right? No, we don't

  298. do that, right? We follow the leading of the

  299. little pastor that says, well, it's greater works

  300. we are working with, right? Now, that greater

  301. works, what it does, as we're seeing in Exodus

    Exodus 19:1–6

  302. 19, verse 1 -6, is that it should create expectations

  303. in our mind. So God's intention should create

  304. expectations. God's intention should create expectation.

  305. So now that we know what God said he would do,

  306. so while we are coming to that meeting, your

  307. mind is set to receive from that meeting. God's

  308. intention should create expectation. God's intention

  309. should create expectation. Now, when you read

  310. Hebrews 11, you will see that those... Heroes

  311. of faith, in Hebrews 11, it is on the basis of

  312. God's intention and message, right, that they

  313. had expectation of what is to come. And that

  314. was counted as faith for them. They didn't just

  315. come, they didn't just live their life like,

  316. oh, you know, God is not going to do what he's

  317. going to do. It is on the basis of God's intention

  318. for the whole earth, right, they believe. That

  319. became an expectation for them. And Jesus would

  320. say, Abraham longed to see my days. And he did

  321. what? He saw it. Okay? So, it creates expectation.

  322. When God says something, when we come to that

  323. meeting, we have a mind, right, on what we want

  324. to receive. We have a mind on what we want to

  325. receive. As our lead pastor has opened it to

  326. us, has explained to us where it works, as we

  327. are teaching, that should be where your mind

  328. is set. All right. Another thing we can see,

  329. I think I already said this with the other one,

  330. is that what God is doing is communicated through

  331. our leader. I said that before, Exodus 7, verse

    Exodus 7:9

  332. 9. So what I was emphasizing that they will hear

  333. God under the leadership of Moses is with respect

  334. to that meeting. Okay? So I'm not saying you

  335. can't hear God at home. Of course, that would

  336. be very unbiblical, right? To say you don't hear

  337. God or no, no, no, that would be against what

  338. we have taught. But what we are saying, is that

  339. as pastors will come and they will tell you that

  340. the healing, you know, God is using your hand

  341. to heal, right? Are you with me? That right now

  342. the belief someone God is using your hand to

  343. heal, you should receive that and walk in that

  344. in the sport of the moment, right? So it means

  345. that under that leadership, there will be so

  346. many leading that will become... coming from

  347. the pastors and the people that will be leading

  348. us. So therefore, at the spur of that moment,

  349. you should walk in that thing that you're seeing.

  350. Don't be carried away. Don't think about something

  351. else, right? When they say they believe that

  352. there's interpretation of tongues, right? Walk

  353. in it, okay? Don't say, oh, I can't do it. When

  354. pastors say do it, just do it because it will

  355. happen. Are we together? It will happen. This

  356. should help us as we come together. So I wrote

  357. this, I said, how God will do what he's doing

  358. in our meeting is communicated to us by our pastors

  359. and the lead pastors. The songs, the teachings,

  360. all of this, right, would point us to what God

  361. is doing. God is walking among us and is manifesting

  362. through instructions that they give us, right?

  363. So prepare again to follow the instructions.

  364. Now let's see. What happens? Exodus 20. Exodus

  365. 20. Just write Exodus 20 down. Then, yes. Exodus

  366. 20. Exodus 20 from verse 18. Exodus 20 from verse

  367. 18. He said, and all the people saw the thunderings

  368. and the lightnings. and the noise of the trumpets,

  369. and the mountain smoking. And when they saw it,

  370. they removed and stood afar off. And they said

  371. unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear.

  372. But let not God speak with us, lest we die. Did

  373. you see how they changed the instructions of

  374. the Lord? They converted God's message of life

  375. and said, Well, lest we die. So they disbelieved.

  376. what God wanted to do in that meeting, in that

  377. gathering. They disbelieved it. They disbelieved

  378. it. They did not believe. Now, you know, if you

  379. read, if you read verse 18, it points, you know,

  380. as if it's the thundering, the lightning, the

  381. noise, the trumpets, and the smoking, right?

  382. When the people saw it, they did what? They removed

  383. fire away, right? But there were people in that

  384. meeting too that believed. Moses believed, a

  385. couple of persons believed. Afterwards, we knew

  386. their story, that they believed in that meeting.

  387. Now, nothing should distract us from God's intention.

  388. Many things will be happening in Kadathism. Maybe

  389. someone will be falling under the analogy. Someone

  390. will be shouting. Don't be a spectator. Don't

  391. be looking around and saying what is happening.

  392. Let me put it in the words of that. 18. Don't

  393. look at the thunders and lightnings and all of

  394. that. When God will speak, God spoke with a voice.

  395. Right? God spoke with a voice. God spoke to them.

  396. So, don't look at the distractions. Don't let

  397. it get you carried away so that you can focus

  398. on what you want to receive. Don't let your friend

  399. distract you. Don't let anybody distract you.

  400. Right? So that you can be able to receive what

  401. God is doing in that place. So, they were really...

  402. carried away by all that is happening. And again,

  403. one thing I observe is, if only they kept looking

  404. at Moses while all the things that are happening

  405. is happening, and they kept following at the

  406. score of the moment, they would have believed.

  407. But they got carried away, many things were happening,

  408. and they told the man of God, rather than focusing

  409. on what the man of God has said, they said, well,

  410. you speak to us, right? You know, sometimes I

  411. think, why didn't they ask Moses? Moses, why

  412. is all this thundering? and all of these things

  413. happening, we want to believe God, you know,

  414. these things are, they are just all around. Maybe

  415. he could have explained, but rather, they explained

  416. to him that you see this communication of God

  417. is dead unto us. You see the reverse. They could

  418. have asked him questions, why is all this happening?

  419. Right? In fact, Moses later replied them, even

  420. when they did not ask him. They did not ask him

  421. a question. Go to verse 19. Moses actually answered

  422. them, although they did not ask him a question,

  423. which I was expecting them, you know, maybe they

  424. could ask. Verse 19 says, And they said unto

  425. Moses, Speak thou to us, lest we will die. Speak

  426. thou to us, and we will hear. Lest God speak

  427. with us, lest we die. And verse 20, look at what

  428. Moses said. And Moses said unto them, Fear not,

  429. for God has come to prove you that his fear may

  430. be before your faces, that ye may say not. Right?

  431. And the people again stood afar off and Moses

  432. drew them into the deep darkness where God was.

  433. So Moses is telling them that God has come to

  434. reveal himself to you, that he might speak to

  435. you. You might know him and he might know you.

  436. Right? So a fellowship is what God wanted. God

  437. came to reveal himself. After this time, there's

  438. no other time that God said, bring them again.

  439. Let me reveal myself to them. They just kept

  440. receiving true proxies. you know, started receiving

  441. true information, prophets, judges, kings, that

  442. about, right? So, but yet we knew that that God's

  443. intention to speak directly to them was not suspended,

  444. was still valid, but there was no time they had

  445. to gather again and begin to receive this. So

  446. we see that Moses communicated the reason for

  447. them, which was what they were supposed to ask.

  448. So when there's a distraction, avoid distractions,

  449. right? For us, it's not unto believing. We have

  450. believed, right? Are we together? We have believed.

  451. We have believed. But for us to take hold of

  452. what God is doing in our meetings, we must avoid

  453. destruction. Okay? We must avoid destructions

  454. as much as we can. So we can say that although

  455. God communicated his intention, right? Moses

  456. explained to them and God fulfilled. Did you

  457. see that God fulfilled? God fulfilled his intention

  458. in that meeting. Did God speak to them? Yes.

  459. God fulfilled his intention in that meeting.

  460. That's another point that we should put. When

  461. God says I will come and I will do something,

  462. it is I am that I am. He is going to do it. So,

  463. whatever we have received. In fact, from this

  464. week, you should start receiving. From this week,

  465. you should start receiving. By the time you receive

  466. it, by the time you enter into the Believer's

  467. Conference, it will be abundance. Right? It will

  468. be flow in abundance. You will not struggle.

  469. To flow. It will be abundant. So this week, you

  470. should take time out as we are fasting. You take

  471. time out to pray. Take time out to really sit

  472. down and hear. Study the scripture. Pay attention.

  473. You are just zoning your mind. So that when the

  474. word starts coming next week, you'll be catching

  475. it very fast. You'll be catching it. Your signal

  476. will be very high. You'll be catching it very

  477. fast. Right? You'll not be waiting. You know

  478. that sometimes. There are some teachings that

  479. they give us. For a long time, if you don't hear

  480. that teaching, when the teaching comes, right?

  481. Although you have believed, you start, is that

  482. the scripture? Your mind will start doing that.

  483. Instead of you catching it immediately and running

  484. with it, you start. So now is the time to prepare

  485. your mind. So let's prepare our mind so that

  486. we can receive in abundance. So that the expectation,

  487. we can see when God is fulfilling it. Are we

  488. together? We can see when. God fulfilled it,

  489. but they didn't see it. They translated it to

  490. be something else. So in our meeting, God will

  491. fulfill what he has said he will do. Praise God.

  492. How many of us believe that God will fulfill

  493. what he has said he will do? Can we shout glory?

  494. Glory, yes. God will fulfill what he has said

  495. he will do. God will fulfill. So God gave them

  496. what to build expectation on in the communication

  497. of what he will do. The kingdom of priests, a

  498. holy nation. For us, it's greater works. Greater

  499. works than we have done. We keep doing greater

  500. works. And I said, Hebrews 10. Okay, so we can

  501. just add Hebrews 11 .10. Of course, I think I

  502. quoted Matthias. I mentioned Matthias. I'm going

  503. to go to Hebrews 11 .10 just to see the case

  504. of Abraham. Hebrews 11 .10. And I waited for

  505. the city which has foundations, whose builder

  506. and maker, is God. This was Abraham looking forward

  507. to, you know that thing that we see, a holy nation,

  508. royal priesthood, the church. Moses wrote that.

  509. Abraham looked forward to this city. So, did

  510. God, can we say, that that has been said, did

  511. God fulfill it? Yes, he did. Although Israel,

  512. there are many people who didn't believe, God

  513. still fulfilled what he did. So, It's not just

  514. about us. When God says he will do something,

  515. he will do it. So what we see here is that Abraham

  516. looked forward to that city whose builder and

  517. maker is God. And God did it. God did it. So

  518. majorly what Abraham was looking for was what

  519. God communicated to Israel. It wasn't something

  520. new for the first time in the scriptures. What

  521. Moses communicated to Israel is what Abraham

  522. waited for. He saw it, he received it in typologies.

  523. So good. So we see that the expectation, the

  524. hope, which is faith in what God will do, and

  525. it is in and after the meeting. So we have to

  526. have faith in what God will do in that meeting

  527. and after that meeting. So it's not just that

  528. we'll finish charismas on Saturday, right? And

  529. we're like, okay, it's over and we just... No,

  530. no, no, no. We know that we carry that... Throughout,

  531. until the next believer's meeting. Until the

  532. next believer's meeting. So, while you are receiving,

  533. right? While you are receiving, be thinking of,

  534. Lord, for the next one year, before we come back

  535. to this, okay, to this camp again, just as it

  536. came to my mind, right? Before we come back to

  537. this camp again, before we come back to this

  538. gathering again, right? There are things that

  539. I'm looking forward to you doing, using me for.

  540. Greater works beyond measures. Greater works

  541. beyond measures. So we look forward to what God

  542. will do in that meeting and after that meeting.

  543. In that meeting and after that meeting. And when

  544. we go to Exodus 20, we saw that they didn't believe,

  545. right? They didn't believe. Yet, God still established

  546. the church. God still established a nation. And

  547. the whole earth is actually His. Now, if you

  548. go to that verse. Verse 5 of 19, it said, for

  549. the old head is mine, right? So God will fill

  550. the earth with his word. He will fill the earth

  551. with people who have believed. He will fill the

  552. old heads with his people, his nation. So this

  553. is what we see. And we can also bring another

  554. gathering, right? And see, for those ones, we

  555. know that, okay, they said, lest we die, right?

  556. They said, lest we die. But let's go to Acts.

  557. Let's go to Acts. We'll see the same pattern.

  558. Of God's intention. Right? And Jesus communicated

  559. that. Acts chapter 1. Acts chapter 1. Acts chapter

Acts 1 chapter mention Acts 1 chapter mention Acts 1 chapter mention

  560. 1. From verse 4. Acts chapter 1 from verse 4.

    Acts 1 chapter mention

  561. A meeting where people believe. They have expectation.

  562. They receive. And they throw. Right? As compared

  563. to the ones with Moses and the wilderness. Most

  564. of them did not. And being assembled together

  565. with them, commanded them that they should not

  566. depart from Jerusalem. They commanded them that

  567. they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait

  568. for the promise of the Father, which saith he,

  569. which saith he, ye have heard of me. For John

  570. truly baptized with water, but ye shall be baptized

  571. with the Holy Ghost not many days hence. And

  572. when they therefore... We have come together.

  573. They asked of him, you see, saying, Lord, will

  574. thou at this time restore again the kingdom of

  575. Israel? And he said unto them, It is not for

  576. you to know the times or season which the fire

  577. hath put in its power. Again, Jesus now explained

  578. more clearly. For ye shall receive power after

  579. the Holy Ghost is come upon you, and ye shall

  580. be witnesses unto me, both in Jerusalem and all

  581. Judea and in Samaria. and onto the uttermost

  582. parts of the earth, right? Onto the uttermost

  583. parts of the earth. So we see that in this meeting,

  584. the communication of what God wants to do in

  585. the life of the disciples was clear, right? Also

  586. God's intention was clear. Jesus said they will

  587. receive what? Power, right? In the other one,

  588. they were calling them into salvation. In this

  589. one, it says they will receive power, right?

  590. When? the Holy Ghost hath come upon them, and

  591. they will be witnesses unto him. Now, this is

  592. God's intention. Now, we see that in chapter

  593. 2, it was fulfilled. Again, God's intention fulfilled.

  594. A people waiting, a people having expectation,

  595. looking forward to receiving power. Right? We'll

  596. see it from that verse 1 of chapter 2. He said,

  597. when the day of the Holy Ghost was fully come,

  598. they were all with one accord in one place. Right?

  599. This is different from the other ones that said,

  600. well, don't speak to us, lest we die. That's

  601. disorder. Your leader said, God will give you

  602. life. You said, no, it is death. Now, that's

  603. disorder. But here, he said they were in one

  604. accord. It means that they were all expecting.

  605. Right? They were looking forward to this power.

  606. They were looking forward to what God would do.

  607. They were looking forward to receiving. Right?

  608. And suddenly, there came a sound. from heaven

  609. as a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the

  610. house where they were sitting. And there appeared

  611. unto them tongues like of fire, and it sat upon

  612. each of them. And they were all filled with the

  613. Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues,

  614. as the Spirit gave them all tongues. So they

  615. were filled with the Holy Ghost, and they began

  616. to speak with other tongues. as the Spirit gave

  617. them order. Now, they could have said, what is

  618. this? Let's look at how it is put in verse 2.

  619. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as

  620. a rushing mighty wind, and it all filled the

  621. house where they were sitting. Now, so this kind

  622. of description, we have a couple of them in Acts.

  623. Acts chapter 4 gave the same illustration. Let's

    Acts 4 chapter mention

  624. go to Acts chapter 4. Acts chapter 4, from verse

Acts 4 chapter mention Acts 4 chapter mention

  625. 29. It said, And now, Lord, behold their threatenings.

  626. and grant unto thy servants that with all boldness

  627. they may speak thy word, by stretching forth

  628. thy hand to him, and that signs and wonders may

  629. be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.

  630. When they had prayed, the place was shaking where

  631. they were assembled together, and they were filled

  632. with the Holy Ghost, and they began to speak.

  633. they began to speak the word of the Lord with

  634. boldness. So again, mighty rushing wind, right?

  635. In that picture, here we see the place where

  636. they were was shaking, right? Just as they saw

  637. the lightnings and thunders and all of that,

  638. right? In the house of apostles, we've seen this

  639. figure, this picture again, painted here, something

  640. like a mighty rushing wind. So it means something

  641. actually happened in that garden. Something happened

  642. in that garden. So the place where they were,

  643. they were shaking. However, in all the shaking

  644. and in all the migration, they were not distracted.

  645. They focused on the expectation of what they

  646. wanted. Now, at 4 .30, what were they expecting?

  647. They were expecting that they would be able to

  648. have boldness to speak the word. Did it happen?

  649. Yes. So they spoke the word much more with all

  650. boldness. That was their prayer, right? They

  651. prayed and they received that. And they spoke

  652. the word much more. Here they were waiting to

  653. receive. power, right? They were waiting to receive

  654. power and they did receive the power. So, the

  655. communication of what God is doing or what God

  656. wanted to do in the disciples' life was fulfilled.

  657. They've been together in one accord, in one focusing

  658. and waiting to receive power. Now, another thing

  659. we will see there is that they also had leadership,

  660. okay? They also had leadership, right? They also

  661. had leadership. We go to 2 verse 14. 2 verse

  662. 14, Acts. But Peter's standing up with the 11.

  663. So, from verse 12, it says, And they were all

  664. amazed and were in doubt, saying to one another,

  665. What meaneth this? Others mocking said, These

  666. men are full of new wine. Right? These men are

  667. full of new wine. And as a result of that, right,

  668. one of them could just pop up and say, well,

  669. you think we are full of new wine? You know,

  670. let me show you the new wine or do something

  671. very interesting. But nobody responded. But Peter

  672. stood up, right? Peter stood up, standing up

  673. with the leaven, lifted up his voice and said

  674. unto them, Ye men of Judea and all that dwell

  675. at Jerusalem, be this known unto you and akin

  676. unto my word, for these are not drunken. So,

  677. fulfillment of God's intention in the life of

  678. the disciples, in the life of everyone who will

  679. believe, right, as part of identification with

  680. them. So, we see that in this context. So, they

  681. had leadership. There was an expectation. There

  682. was God's intention, expectation. They believed.

  683. There was leadership. They were together. in

  684. one accord, right? They were together in one

  685. accord. So this is what we see, right? This is

  686. what we see in these meetings. So let's see.

  687. One other thing that we can expect, one thing

  688. that we should expect much more is that which

  689. we started seeing from Acts 4. Yes, from Acts

  690. 4. Let's start seeing. So as we now, as those

  691. that have believed, as those that have the Spirit

  692. of God, as those that walk and lead in Christ.

  693. Now, what should be our expectation as we come

  694. to this meeting? One of the expectations is that

  695. we will be filled with the Spirit, right? We

  696. will be filled with the Spirit. It means we will

  697. be stirred up in the Spirit. I think Pastor Victor

  698. gave sufficient time to teach that, that we can

  699. be stirred up again. While we have been filled,

  700. we receive. Right? We can't just tear it up.

  701. And in some places, the Bible, in the book of

  702. Acts, used the same word, filled. Right? To refer

  703. to the stirring of the Spirit of God within the

  704. believer. Within the believer. Now, it's happened

  705. to some people, the aspect of being filled, but

  706. I think I would just like to focus on only the

  707. one in the book of Acts. There was one in Luke

  708. where we have the case of Elizabeth, we have

  709. the case of Zechariah, but they didn't have the

  710. indwelling, but still an example in the Spirit.

  711. An explanation of, you know, something's tearing

  712. up to being filled. So, let's focus on Acts,

  713. right? Acts chapter 4, Acts chapter 4, verse

Acts 4 chapter mention Acts 4:8

  714. 8. Acts chapter 4, verse 8. Then Peter filled

    Acts 4:8

  715. with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers

  716. of the people and elders of Israel. Right? Now,

  717. this is Peter. It says, Peter filled with the

  718. Holy Ghost. The same Peter that stood up in Acts

    Acts 1 chapter mention

  719. chapter 1. Again, it says filled with Holy Ghost.

  720. Now, it's not like he's just receiving power

  721. again, but it means that there is a filling.

  722. It means he's full of the Holy Ghost. That's

  723. another word for it. Full of the Holy Ghost means

  724. what is inside of him, right? He's full of it.

  725. It means there's a stirring within him. And when

  726. there is a stirring of the Holy Ghost, being

  727. filled with the Holy Ghost, we see several great

  728. manifestations. So in this meeting, we will be

  729. filled with the Holy Ghost. We will be full of

  730. the Holy Ghost. Just like Peter was full of the

  731. Holy Ghost in this day. And what happens? They

  732. speak. Consistently when they are full of the

  733. Holy Ghost, they speak, right? They speak. They

  734. speak in tongues. They prophesy. They teach the

  735. word. When they are full of the Holy Ghost, this

  736. is what happens. So in that meeting, as we come

  737. together, we will be full of the Holy Ghost.

  738. So what did he do? If this day, and we this day

  739. be examined of the good deeds done by the important

  740. man. So he gave an explanation. But be it known

  741. unto all and to all the people of Israel that

  742. by the name of Jesus of Nazareth, whom ye have

  743. crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even

  744. by him doeth this man stand here before you whole.

  745. So a miracle has taken place. They're questioning

  746. him. He wants to have an answer. And he was full

  747. of the Holy Ghost, filled with the Holy Ghost,

  748. and he's paid. Okay, that's after Acts 2. Now

  749. Acts 6, 5, let's see. So we will be full of the

  750. Holy Ghost. Everyone here will be full of the

  751. Holy Ghost and we will walk in diverse manifestations,

  752. demonstrations. That's chapter 5 and 6, right?

  753. And the same please the whole multitude. And

  754. they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and the

  755. Holy Spirit. And Philip, Procurus, Nicanor, Timon,

  756. Parmenas, and Nicholas, a proselyte from Antioch.

  757. So men full of the Holy Ghost. Now, it seems

  758. to be that These people, let me put it this way,

  759. they are barely out of the Holy Ghost, if there's

  760. anything like that. It's like these ones on the

  761. spot, regular. When you come close to them, let's

  762. put it the way we used to, they are always on

  763. fire. They don't have a coming down. Let's put

  764. it that way, right? They're always full of the

  765. Holy Ghost, full of faith, right? This word,

  766. full of faith and the Holy Spirit, means that

  767. there is no room for, there is no room, let me

  768. put it this way, there is no room for the flesh.

  769. There's no joking around. There's no playing

  770. around. When you come around them, you get the

  771. word, you get the impactation that you need,

  772. right? And those are the people they found to

  773. put in charge of this work, this distribution

  774. and this responsibility of Sherwood. Men full

  775. of doling. So we can also say that whatever you'll

  776. be doing that day, whether you manage to be in

  777. media, you should know that you should be full

  778. of the Holy Ghost. Right? If you carry a camera,

  779. be full of, if you know it before, drop it and

  780. be full of the Holy Ghost. Right? If you drop

  781. the camera and do what you should do or a point

  782. a certain time where you quickly do it and drop

  783. it. So whether we are in media, we are in ocean,

  784. we are cooking, we are doing, whatever we are

  785. doing, make sure that you are part of that experience

  786. of being full of the Holy Ghost. Make sure you

  787. are part of that experience of being full of

  788. the Holy Ghost. Now we see 7 verse 55, at 7 verse

  789. 55 that, A dying man, right? A man that was,

  790. you know, let's read. That was the case of Stephen.

  791. Now, verse 54. When they heard these things,

  792. they were caught to their hearts and they gnashed

  793. on him with their teeth. Verse 54, sorry. And

  794. verse 5. But he, being full of the Holy Ghost,

  795. looked obstinately into heaven and saw the glory

  796. of God and Jesus standing on the right hand.

  797. And he said, behold, I see, see, saying something

  798. again. I see the heavens open. and the Son of

  799. Man standing on the right hand of God. Again,

  800. full of the legos. Even at the points where people

  801. were against him. So, we can be full of the legos

  802. at all times. Even much more as we come together

  803. in this meeting. As we come together in this

  804. meeting. Acts 11 verse 24. 11 verse 24. For I

    Acts 11:24

  805. was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and faith,

  806. and... great many people were added to the Lord,

  807. right? So I think we need to read a little bit

  808. of that. Let's move from verse 21. And the hand

  809. of the Lord was with them, and a great number

  810. believed and turned unto the Lord. Then the tithes

  811. of this thing came unto the ears of the church,

  812. which was in Jerusalem, and they sent forth Barnabas

  813. that he should go as far as Antioch. who, when

  814. he came, had seen the grace of God, was glad

  815. and exalted them all, that with purpose of heart

  816. they would cleave unto the Lord. For he was a

  817. good man, full of the Holy Ghost and faith. And

  818. much people were added unto the Lord. Right?

  819. Full of the Holy Ghost. I think the last one

  820. is just Acts 13, verse 52. Acts 13. Verse 52.

    Acts 13:52

  821. Scripture. Acts 7, verse 52. And the disciples

    Acts 7:52

  822. were filled with joy and the Holy Ghost. Now,

  823. what happened? Why were they filled with joy

  824. and the Holy Ghost in this country? Let's see.

  825. Verse 48. It says, And when the Gentiles, I think

  826. we read this on Sunday. So when the Gentiles

  827. heard this, they were glad and glorified the

  828. word of the Lord. And as many as were ordained

  829. to eternal life believed. And the word. of the

  830. Lord was published throughout the region. But

  831. the Jews teared up the devout and honorable women

  832. and the chief men of the city and raised persecution

  833. against Paul and Barnabas and expelled them out

  834. of their courts. But they shook off the dust

  835. of their feet against them and came unto Iconium.

  836. And the disciples were filled with joy and the

  837. Holy Ghost. So again here, disciples they met

  838. were filled with joy and the Holy Ghost. So they

  839. were filled with joy and the Holy Ghost. So this

  840. is our expectation for the believers meeting.

  841. This is what we should expect to see. Now, when

  842. they are filled with joy, right? When we are

  843. full of the Holy Spirit, we speak, we give the

  844. word of wisdom, we give the word of knowledge,

  845. we give the signing of spirit. We work much more

  846. with clarity and accuracy in the gifts. of the

  847. Holy Spirit, right? We work much more. We work

  848. much more in clarity and accuracy in giving.

  849. So we should expect this. We should expect this.

  850. All right, so what are a few counsel, right,

  851. that we should give before we pray? We pray in

  852. a few minutes, right, to stay ourselves up even

  853. this evening. What are a few counsel that we

  854. can give as we look forward to being full of

  855. the Holy Ghost, as we look forward to receiving

  856. the Word, as we look forward to being impacted,

  857. as we look forward to following instructions

  858. that pastors will be leading, as we look forward

  859. to following the leading, what are the things

  860. that we should start preparing for? Now, from

  861. now, you should start avoid sleeping late. Okay?

  862. Start avoid sleeping late. Let your, whether

  863. it's your sleeping clock or I don't know what

  864. they call it, let it know that you start waking

  865. up early and you'll be coming back by five. So

  866. you need to program yourself. You need to start

  867. preparing your mind for that. You need to stop

  868. sleeping late. Reduce eating too much. So that

  869. you're not being kind of this one's and you'll

  870. be desiring food to eat. You'll be longing. No,

  871. no, no, no. It's a long ride. And I want to believe

  872. the market is far from here. Farther than where

  873. we used to be. Oh, this one. Maybe we'll lock

  874. the door. When you're coming, there's no going

  875. out. So let's, let's, let's. Now we are waiting.

  876. As you are waiting, your body will be adjusting.

  877. I know day one fasting, you know, it might be

  878. very odd. This is day three now or day four,

  879. right? So, day three. Okay, okay. Pastor started

  880. on last week. He just fell off in between. I

  881. wanted to ask his God. It happened like that.

  882. All right. So, we are in day three, right? So,

  883. your body should have adjusted so that when you

  884. come for that meeting, You are not, of course,

  885. there will be lunchtime. But before that, you

  886. don't get strained out. In fact, you can reduce

  887. what you eat in that route. If they give you

  888. portion, eat half. So that you don't, you remain

  889. full. You know, you remain full. All right. I'm

  890. just trying to say that we should, you know,

  891. pay attention, right, to what we do. Our conduct

  892. in the God. Set time to pray. Set time to pray

  893. in the course of this week. Set time to pray.

  894. Don't be fasting without praying. If you're fasting

  895. without praying, it's what? Hunger strike. When

  896. you fast and you don't pray, you don't do anything,

  897. it's hunger strike. So please pray. Study the

  898. word, right? Study the word. Study the meetings

  899. that we have, all the previous teachings that

  900. we've gone through. Study them. Pay attention

  901. to them. Now this is you setting, like practically

  902. setting expectation now. Right? This is you practically

  903. setting expectation. You not ignoring God's intention

  904. in that meeting. Right? You not ignoring. God's

  905. intention in that meeting. You're not ignoring

  906. God's intention in that meeting. So we're not

  907. distracted. We are set. Our mind is set to receive.

  908. We are ready to receive. We are not like those

  909. of the wilderness, but we are much more those

  910. that are ready, right, to partake in the move

  911. of God. Now, this is the move. There will be

  912. a move of God, right? It means God's leading,

  913. God's direction. God telling us what to do, clarity,

  914. breaking things, and remolding us in ways that

  915. will help us to do the work of ministry much

  916. more. Can we be on our feet just for the next

  917. five minutes that we have? Can we just pray?

  918. Can we just tear ourselves up in the Holy Ghost

  919. just for this next five minutes? It's part of

  920. the way of setting our expectation, what you

  921. want to see in that meeting. We appreciate you

  922. being here today. We hope you carry this word

  923. with you throughout your week. Don't forget to
