Day 5: The Gifts of the Spirit (part 4)

right in. Acts chapter 2 verse 45. Let's just

finish that please. Their possessions. Let's

just see 44. And all that believed were together

and had all things what? Common. And sold their

possessions and goods and parted them to all

men as every man had what? Had need. As every

man had. As every man had what? And he divided

to every man severally as he. wheels right so

we are reading here saying that and then they

parted it to every man as he has what need also

who determine what comes to him let me reduce

this who determine what comes to him talk to

me everybody talk to me talk to me talk to me

thank you for that And they sold their possessions.

Let me reduce this to, it's too loud. And they

sold their possessions and goods and parted them

to all men as every man had need. So, who determines

what comes to him? And who determines the quantity

of what comes? Huh? Is it the need? Who? And

the need, yes, half, half, 50 over 100. Or 80

of 100? Who determine? Huh? Is it the giver?

The giver does not know who needs what. Right?

Yes, so the giver does not know who needs what.

So I have, I just have, you have it, I have it.

Right? And then she has it, she's having needs.

All of us are having needs. But then a couple

of people around are the ones that have some

possessions and then they sold all their belongings.

When they come to share the things so that everybody

is fully furnished, right? Who will determine

what gets what? The receiver. Amen? Because now

if you come, you understand? Because if you come,

you ask me, what and what do I need? Right? And

I'll say, I need this, two bags of rice, one

turkey oil, one this because me and my three

children, right? We have not eaten for this.

This is what we need. You just give me what I

need. So I determine what I receive. Is it clear?

You meet another person, the person, so which

means our needs. Right? The supply to our needs

is determined, right, upon the person that is

receiving the supply. Do we understand? Do we

understand this place? So every man had need.

So every man will receive based upon his what?

His need. Is it clear, everybody? Is it clear?

Is there confusion? We just ate. So I want to

see some ATP. Right? Yes, some adenosine triphosphate.

Right? Yes. Except maybe you want me to bring

up a Usta in medical biochemistry to come and

tell us how many hours the breakdown will be,

to what area it will go, how it will affect our

mouth and our response. Glory to Jesus. Acts

Acts 4:35

chapter 4 verse 35. Acts 4, verse 35. Acts 4,

verse 35. And laid them down at the what? At

the apostles' feet. Are we all there? Let's go

to 34. Help us go to 34. Let's read from verse

34 very fast. Neither was there anyone among

them that what? That lacked for as many As were

possessors of land or houses, did what? Sold

them. Right? And brought the prizes of things.

Right? 4 is Acts chapter 4. It's the same thing.

4 .34. It's almost the same event. And brought

the prizes of the things that were what? That

were sold. 35 now. And laid them at what? at

the apostles feet and distribution was made unto

every man according to the people that sold the

possession. Is that what he's saying? And distribution

was made according, is that what he's saying?

How is the distribution done? According to what?

As he had what? So who determines what is received

during distribution? The man that has what? That

has need. Do you know why? Because the receiver,

the giver, has already sold the possession and

has given. He has given all. So he is no longer

in charge of what goes to who. Do you understand?

Is that clear enough? So the giver has sold his

land, has sold his possession. He is no more

concerned about who gets what. Who gets what

is determined on who has need of what. Do we

understand? Do we understand everybody? Perfect.

So now, John 6, 11. So we understand the two

references we've had now so far, right? Do we

understand? It was divided to every man as he

had had need. Right? Because we have a receiver

and a what? And a giver. So, the function of

the giver is to give unconditionally. He is not

in charge also of what? Determining what you

what? What you receive. The receiver determines

what he gets. You are the one. Glory to Jesus.

Good. So, John chapter 6, everybody. Because

John 6 · chapter mention

that's the last part of this part. John 6, 11.

John 6, 11. Good. And Jesus took the loaves,

and when he had given thanks, he did what? He

distributed to the disciples, and the disciples

to them that were what? Were set down. And likewise

of the fishes, as much as they what? They wooed.

Okay, take it back, sir. ESV. Jesus then took

the loaves and when he had given thanks, he distributed

to those that were what? As much as they who

wanted it. Is it the disciples that wanted it

or the people that are receiving from the distribution?

Because already the loaves and the fishes are

already made available. Glory to Jesus. Is it

clear? Is it clear everybody? Is it clear, everybody?

That is the man that is receiving the determines

and not the giver because the giver has already

what? Has already given. Amen? So, having said

that now, everybody, let's go to 1 Corinthians

12. 1 Corinthians 12. Everybody, let's go back

there. Verse 11 now. But all this, what does

he mean by all this? The ones that we mentioned

before, earlier, right? Word of knowledge, word

of wisdom, right? Working of miracles, gift of

faith, tongues, interpretation of tongues, from

8 to 10, all this. Right? Work it. We take the

word work it. Energeo. Right? Something that

is effective. Something that is working, active.

Right? Energema. Right? That's true what? One

and self, same what? So, same spirit, the Holy

Ghost. Right? Working all this. Glory to Jesus.

How is he doing it? He said, He is dividing.

We check dividing, right? We check dividing.

Yes or no? Yes or true? Yes, it's there. We check

dividing. To every man severally as what? As

he will. Amplify. Say all these things, the gifts

are brought about by one and the same what? Holy

Spirit. Distributing to each one individually

as he what? As he wills. So who wills. During

the distribution. Who wills now. Please. Next.

I will have said no lunch tomorrow. Maybe that

will now make us more active. You know they say.

Where hunger makes you active. You will just

be restless. Who wills. During the distribution.

The receiver. Why? Because the giver has already

given unconditionally. What did we say about

that giving unconditionally? Check your notes.

Without condition. Didomai. He has already given

without condition. What has he given? He has

given an ability, a charisma. And he didn't give

some, he didn't give two, he didn't give three.

The scripture says he gave us all. And because

he has given all, he expects that the believer

has received all. The believer has lambano, how

many? All. So he that wills, when it comes to

the things of the spirit, his willing is to the

end that he receives what? All and not a few.

Glory to Jesus. When I come and tell you, I have

this, this, this, this, this, this and that and

all I am giving you. Right? You have a will to

choose whether you are taking two out of it.

Amen? Or you are taking how many? You want to

take all of it and maximize it. So now, when

you only see the manifestation of prophecy, prophecy,

prophecy, catatismus one, prophecy. Two, prophecy.

Three, prophecy. Four, prophecy. Five, prophecy.

Six, prophecy. They say, what of knowledge? Ah,

we have not yet got there. What of wisdom? Ah,

we are yet there, yet there. He said, what kind

of miracles? Ah, leave it for Brocris. Ah, you

know. Ah, by giving of faith. Ah, Pastor TK.

Ah, that one there, he finished giving of faith.

The challenge, is it with the Holy Ghost or with

you, the receiver? The receiver. Another thing

I will say is, and that is why the believer,

if you write this, write this always. See, I

am learning this thing also that I am about to

say. That is why the believer always ought to

will to see all the manifestation of the gifts

of the Holy Ghost. The believer ought to always

what? Will to see all the manifestation of the

gifts of what? Of the Holy Ghost. Don't be cold

on it. Don't be cold on it. Don't be cold on

it. Don't be cold on it. Don't be cold on it.

Don't be cold on it. Your desire ought to be

fervent. Your desire ought to be at the edge.

Your desire ought to be on fire. Always to see

all the manifestation of what? Of the gifts of

the Holy Ghost. desire to see more tongues and

interpretation of tongues. More tongues. More

tongues. More tongues. More tongues. More tongues.

More tongues. More tongues. More tongues. Desire

to see more word of knowledge. More word of knowledge.

More word of knowledge. Remember I say, it's

given to every believer to profit what? To profit

with all. Desire that you're going to bring more

advantage. More. More. More. More. More word

of wisdom. More word of wisdom. We get into a

place, you know, When you hear too many things

and then you stay on them, they affect your faith

in seeing signs and wonders. They'll say, oh,

you know, actually, walking of miracles is only,

you know, special for some selected few. Now

what? What condition did they meet? Okay, let

me say it this way. If they've made a condition

and then they have happened to be the selected

few, you're also the believer. Meet the condition.

However, there is no condition for any selected

few. Hallelujah. We read it in John 14. That

in my Father's house, right, are many what? Are

many mansions. And I go to prepare what? A place

for you. That where also, when I go to my Father,

I will also come back unto you, right? And I

will receive you to myself. And where I am, that's

where you will be. Whatever. Let me ask us a

question. Do you think Jesus enjoyed all the

gifts of the Holy Ghost? Have you seen... Now,

aside tongues, I need a preacher of tongues.

Right? Because that's another discussion for

another day. Have you seen healing in Jesus'

ministry? How about word of knowledge? Word of

wisdom? Have you seen walking of miracles? Gifts

of faith. So if Jesus is standing there and you

are standing with him, what does he mean? You

have few or all? You have all. Because where

he is standing, that is where you are also what?

Standing. And he said, the works that I do, you

will also what? Do it. You will do it. I just

got a word now from somebody. Be bold. Be bold

by the Spirit of the Lord and get into places

and manifest all the gifts of the Holy Ghost.

You are not too small for it. You are not. I

desire to see miracles upon miracles. I'm trying

to remember the name. Somebody gave a story of...

Is it Robert Shula or something? Or Shambach?

One of them. He said, in his crusades, he went

and bought 1 ,000 wheelchairs. Not to fake miracles.

Sick people that cannot come to his meeting.

He gave free 1 ,000 wheelchairs. They should

bring them from different locations to come for

the meeting. So that they will receive what?

The healing power of the Holy Ghost. That desire

is to the roof. Have you ever watched and seen

healings and the hairs on your body rise? Tears

start flowing in your eyes? I watched a documentary

of A .A. Allen. The leg was like this. They brought

the guy, he cannot move. He didn't think it.

He did not think it. You know, I saw that. I

saw every faculty inside me rose. The guy said

he has not eaten for several weeks. He said,

is there anybody that has bread or snack or something

or drink? They said, you're going to eat today.

You're going to eat today. Lay that on him. The

guy finished the thing and finished the drink

and wanted more. If I was in that place. You

know, let me say something so that some people

can get stirred up. I'm in that atmosphere. You

know, they are holding another crusade somewhere.

Me, in my small area, I'll be looking for sick

people. Let me reduce the work for man of God.

Yes. Because it's happening there and I'm seeing

it. I'm seeing such manifestation. And the scripture

says it's for every believer. So which means

I'm not exempted. I'm not. That's what's happening.

That's what's happening. Hallelujah. So we are

not limited. We live here to our rooms. I said

a testimony here. We've been praying for someone

that had issue with the brain. You know, we spoke

of a recent. When the thing happened, even communication

called. Now his communication is clear. Memory

is coming back fully. What we are trusting God

for is that now, let writing come back fully.

You see, with healing, there are some that you're

going to see it happen instantly. There are some

you're going to see, One percent. Forget it.

It has started. Hallelujah. You know, we can

be in a meeting like this, pray for somebody

that is sick, and the person that will still

wheel the person out of this place, and tomorrow

morning you will see him back on his feet. I

will tell you, when I was a parking lot, I said,

if you allow me, I will stand up. And then the

person just stood up, and that's all. Manifestation

of the Holy Ghost. What am I saying in essence?

Will, will, will to see. Tongues and interpretation

of tongues. Will to see. Desire. That word there

is desire to see. That's what Paul is saying

to them. Glory to Jesus. Desire to what? To see.

Desire to see. So now. Are we all here now? So

far so good. Are we on the same page? So far

so good. Are we on the same page? Who has all

the gifts? Who has all of them? Do you need to

do 16 hours encounter to see them? Do we need

to fast 365 on quarter days to see them? When

do we need to see them? Imagine The disciples

came to beautiful gates, right? And then the

man was there. And then they look at him. And

then he say, silver and gold we do not have,

but give us 30 minutes back. And then they came,

enter into, because they were going at the hour

of prayer, you know? And they imagine and they

say, ah, we have not prayed too much this morning,

you know? Morning devotion, no day. You know,

last, yesterday, even the VG, we were sleeping

all through. So, to just quickly, Let's enter

and finish the hour of prayer, right? I just

got a word now for somebody. When you are encountered

with situations where the manifestation of the

gifts of the Holy Ghost need to be made manifest

through you, don't doubt it. Don't give conditions

for it. Because the more you give conditions

for it, the more you don't see them because unbelief

will come in. Imagine now they now run inside

at the hour of prayers because they want to sanctify

their power. Let me use that word. Right? And

then, you know, maybe that day, normally maybe

during the hour of prayer, they are just, they

are disciples now. They are apostles. They've

been with Jesus. They say, we've been with him.

We've seen him. So maybe let's assume they just

enter inside and then the person that will lead

prayers will just lead and then they will just

go out as just normal men. But that day, because

they want to sanctify the event that is outside,

they say, thanks. That day. Because the picture

that will be before them is the man at what?

Because when they come out, the man will ask

them, how far? Right? Silver and gold they have

not given him. They say they have something to

give him. So they went inside to get the thing

they have. They sweat. And then they come now.

They say, rise up and walk. The guy does not

walk. Rise up and walk. They drag him up. He

runs back. Let me say this. This is what Satan,

will do to the mind of believer whenever he thinks

it's his works that will make for the manifestation

of the gifts of the Holy Ghost. He will ensure

that whenever there is opportunity for you to

see the power of God in manifestation, to see

and hear, right? He will bring unbelief and condemn

you and begin to make you feel you are not fit

enough. To see this thing happen. There is somebody

that is sick for you to lay hands. He will make

you feel you have not prayed enough. You have

not fasted enough. You told a lie yesterday.

In fact, you are the worst of people to experience

this power. I bring good news to you. I bring

good news to you. That the spirit of God dwells

in you. In fact, let me tell you. You can eat

a bowl of food. And then heal the sick. I'm telling

you the truth. And that's why I'm saying let

your desire be on the edge. Glory to Jesus. Let

your desire what? Because the word I'm getting

is that because God is not only preparing you

for this place. God is preparing you for your

family. I see a couple of us. God is preparing

us and building us for what? For our family.

Through you, salvation will come to that home.

Through you, stability will come to that family.

Through you, all the members of your family will

get saved. Through you, you will see commitment

and consistency to the things of Jesus. Glory

to Jesus. So your desire must be on the edge.

Lambano on it. Take hold of it and maximize everything.

Everything. Is yours in Christ Jesus. So. Let's

rush over. Autoran's gifts. Autoran's gifts.

We are just going to. Autoran's gifts. They are

operation. Power gifts. They are operation. Revelational

gifts are what? They are operation. No matter

what happens, I must constrain myself. We must

take hold of what we have had so far and pray

and pray and pray and pray and pray and pray

and pray and pray. I was telling them of the

few cataclysms, I don't know, two or three cataclysms

that we had in Yarmdoun. Then I used to go to

school and come back because of the work and

summer school. But I came back. Some people will

do it like this. That they prayed and prayed

and prayed and prayed and prayed. They said,

please, can we sit? I said, no, no, no, no, no.

Stand, stand. They prayed and prayed and prayed

and prayed and prayed. After the meeting, they

themselves were not only feeling, definitely

their body felt it, but they were transformed.

I remember I came back as I got into the place.

Everybody was praying. Everybody was praying.

There was this favo everywhere. That is it. I

will not have you what? Ignorant. These things

are all yours. Autorized gifts. Fast. Let's write

utterance, gifts, tongues, number one. Utterance,

gifts, tongues. Okay, so what we are going to

do is we have this. Take it to like 40. Yes.

Or 30. So that we can pray 30 minutes first.

Introduction. Right? Yes. Please, when we say

we should pray in tongues, you know, some people,

based on what I know, except maybe I don't know,

based on what I know, everybody in this hall

prays in tongues. And if you're online, you don't

But based on what I know, except maybe there

is another information, it's not... Has not gotten

to me. Everybody prays in tongues. Sometimes.

We said in the hall. When they say some people

should pray in tongues. They switch to French.

Everybody. So, they say, is everybody praying

in tongues around you? He said, yes, yes, yes,

yes, yes, yes. No. Please, when we say in the

Holy Ghost, pray in tongues. No English language.

There's a discipline we want to build. We have

something we experience. Amen? Glory to God.

practice more. Power gifts, gifts of healing,

working of miracles, gifts of faith. Power gifts,

of faith. Someone may ask, how did we come by

this classification? This classification, or

we came by this classification based on their

operation. Right? How they function. That's how

this classification came. By their operation,

how they what? How they function. Authorans give

tongues, interpretation of tongues, prophecy.

And when we say authorans give, they are relating

to speaking. Right? Author. They are relating

to what? To speaking. Often I will say it, that

there are gifts that say something in or by the

Spirit. Authorized gifts are relating to speaking.

There are gifts, right, that say something in

or by the Spirit. Amen? Revelational gifts, there

are gifts, there are gifts that relate to perceiving

spiritual entities. or activities. Revelational

gifts are gifts that are relating to perceiving

what? Spiritual entities and activities. These

gifts are gifts that seek to see, perceive, or

hear things by the Spirit. These gifts seek to

see, to perceive, and hear things by what? By

the spirit. Power gifts. Power gifts are related.

To actions. There are gifts. That do something.

When they are in operation. We see things done.

Hallelujah. When all trans gifts are in operation,

we see things are what? Are said. We hear things

that are what? That are said. Speakings. Revelational

gifts, when they are in operation, we can see

things by the Spirit. Not in the natural. All

these gifts, revelational, we will not see them

in the natural. You just get into a place, suddenly,

you know, you tell a brother, You see that particular

person? I see such a spirit. He's walking with

something. In fact, I perceive that he's walking

with the spirit of divination. Probably everybody

is around the person and cannot see it. Hallelujah.

Yes. Have you written that everybody? Have you

written that? yeah tongues now tongues everybody

so i said that these gifts we are separated or

classified this way based on their what operation

and what and function amen ah holy spirit let's

go to first corinthians chapter 14 first corinthians

Amen. Verse 1. Verse 2 now. He speaketh mysteries.

world and preach the gospel to every creature.

Yes. He that believeth and is baptized shall

be what? Shall be saved. But he that believeth

not shall be what? Damned. Next verse. Everybody

signs shall what? Shall follow them. Amen. That

what? So, what are the signs? In my name, they

shall what? They shall cast out devils. So, which

means casting out devils are signs, right, that

will follow the believer. Amen. Then now, they

shall speak with what? New tongues. So, new tongues,

right, is a sign for what? That follows the believer.

amen so let's just stop there so what are signs

write it that what signs means semion s -e -m

-e -i -o -n semion s -e -m -e -i -o -n it means

mark and this max or this mark shall follow them

that believe It means token. This token shall

follow them that believe. It means to indicate,

to signify, to make known, to make known, to

signify. Why signs? These signs to indicate,

to make known that a person is distinguished

from others. We say there are marks to make known,

to indicate, right? That a person is distinguished

from what? From others. So these signs shall

follow them that what? That belief. So these

marks are distinguishing them that what? That

belief. These tokens are distinguishing them

that what? That belief. Amen? Okay. Are we all

there? So 1 Corinthians 14 .2 now. So which means

they shall speak in new tongues. So which means

tongues are also signs to them that what? That

believe. So which means that when I see a believer,

one of the signs that I will know is common to

believers is that I will see them, they will

have what? They will manifest new tongues. Tongues,

right? Good. 1 Corinthians 14 .2 now. We say

for he that speaketh in an unknown tongue, speaketh

not unto men, but unto God. for no man understanding

him how be it in the spirit he speaketh what

mysteries the word tongue the word tongue means

glossa or lalia the word tongue right means what

glossa yes we have doctors here they will tell

you anatomical name right yeah the word tongue

means what glossa i'm just remembering my My

small anatomy knowledge. Right? Yes. Glossa means

what? Glossa means tongue or what? Or lalia.

Glossa, G -L -O -S -S -A. Lalia, L -A -L -E -A.

Which means language. Dialect. Right? Language.

Dialect. Used in speaking, in talking or uttering

words. So we now say, for he that speaketh in

an unknown tongue speaketh not unto what? Not

unto men. He that speaketh in a language. A supernatural

ability called tongue speaketh not unto men,

but unto who? But unto God. How be it in the

spirit he speaketh what? Mysteries. Acts chapter

Acts 2:1

2 verse 1. Everybody. Acts chapter 2 verse 1.

Acts chapter 2 verse 1. And when the day of Pentecost

was fully come, they were all with one accord

in one place, yes? And suddenly there came a

sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind,

and it filled the house where they were all what?

Sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven

tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon how

many of them? So which means all of them that

were inside the room had this experience. Amen?

There was none that was exempted. Glory to Jesus.

Good, next verse. Good, now to validate that.

For, and they were, how many? They were what?

All filled. Can you say we are all filled with

the Holy Ghost in this place? Can you say we

are all filled with all utterance in this place?

Can you say we are all filled? With signs in

this place. We are all filled with the gifts

of the Holy Ghost in this place. They were all

filled with the what? With the Holy Ghost. Began

to speak with other tongues as the Spirit gave

them what? Utterance. Verse 5. And there were

dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of

every nation under what? Under heaven. So what

can we see here? I don't want to go back now

to many things that we have done. They were filled

with the Holy Ghost. Amen? And they began to

speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them

what? Utterance. This is to validate where we

are coming from that is given to every man severally

as he what? As he will. Because these men now,

they acted on their will. The Spirit of God gave

them utterance. You see? He said, they spoke

as the Spirit gave them utterance. He giveth

severally to every man as he will. So, the issue

has never been with the giver. It has never been

with the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost gives and

gives again and gives again and gives again and

withholds at all. So, when I don't see it, it

does not mean the Holy Ghost is not giving. So,

Who spoke? Did the Holy Ghost give and still

got into them and then brought out utterance?

Who spoke? Who did the giving? So, if they spoke

and the Holy Ghost gave, it means that they received.

Amen? And because they have received, how we

knew or how we know that they have received is

that there was what? Utterance. Glory to Jesus.

Then now. And when they spoke, one of the things

that we will see in utterance is that you will

hear it. You know we say it's relating to what?

To speaking. And we say tongues means what? A

language or what? Dialect. That when you speak,

You know, it will be what? It will be heard.

So that means that in Acts chapter 2, when there

was utterance, people what? People heard them.

Verse 5 now. See verse 5. Okay, yes, verse 8.

Thank you. And how here we, how many men? Every

man in our own what? In our own tongue wherein

we were what? We were born. Go back to verse

7. And they were all amazed. and marvels saying

to one another, Behold, are not all these what?

Which speak what? Galilean? Yes, it. And how

hear we every man in our own tongue wherein we

were born? Nine. Persians, Medians, Elamites,

and dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judea and

Cappadocia, in Pontus and Asia, Phrygia, Pamphylia,

in Egypt, and in the party of Libya, and strangers

of Rome, Jews, and proselytes. How we hear them?

Amen. Verse 11. Cretans and Arabians. What were

they hearing them say? From that utterance. We

do hear them speak in our tongues. The what?

What were they speaking? In verse 1, 2 and 3.

The scripture says. He gave them utterance as

they speak. Right? But now we are hearing now.

In further verses. That what they were speaking,

they were declaring the what? The wonderful works

of who? Of God. Because the question is now,

even the hearers are wondering, how do we what?

Hear them. So they spoke in tongues, but we hear

them speak in our own language. Question will

be, does it mean that the tongues they were speaking

was our own language? Amen? No. Praise God. Hallelujah.

Hallelujah. Glory to Jesus. So mind you, the

audience that were in that atmosphere, you know,

we're what? We're Jews. Glory to Jesus. I'm trying

to rush this because we know this now. right

we are jews so when we start reading from verse

Then now in Acts chapter 2, take us back to Acts

Acts chapter 2, let's start reading from verse

Acts 2 · chapter mention

5. And they that were dwelling at what? Jerusalem,

Jews, devout men out of what? Every nation under

heaven. Pentecost, which we know, the feast,

50, right? Yeah, so during the Pentecost, everyone

from every part, every Jew that is staying away

from home, and it's like a homecoming. Yeah,

that's the right word, right? It's a homecoming

what? Event. So everywhere you are, Jews that

have naturalized, Jews that are staying in Iskele,

Jews that are staying in Lefke, Jews that are

staying in Girne, everybody will do a homecoming

back to Lefkosha. Is that clear enough? So from

every part that they are staying around, from

every nation globally, every one of them, right?

They will come back to what? They will come back

to Lefkosha. Glory to Jesus. So why will they

come back to Lefkosha? They will come back to

Lefkosha because there is a feast. Amen? And

everybody is coming back to celebrate that feast.

During that event, then we have this event happening.

Amen? So now, why were they amazed? They are

amazed because they know these guys that are

speaking, they are also speaking what? They are

Jews. They are our brothers. Glory to Jesus.

However, see something now. Let's go to Acts

Acts 2 · chapter mention

chapter 2, everybody, so that you can see something.

Are we all there? 12 now, verse 12. 2 .12. And

they were all amazed and were in doubt, saying

one another, right? No, no, verse 11, sorry.

Verse 11 now. Cretans and Arabians, we do hear

them speak in our tongue. The wonderful works

of what? Of God. Okay, let's do this so that

we bring a clarification to it. Let me not run

away from it. Eight now. And how we hear every

man in our own tongue? wherein we were what?

We were born. Right? When they say in our own

tongue, what does it mean? Which means they were

speaking what? We hear them speak what? What

is their language? What is their language? Come

on now, help me now. Okay, good. So, everybody

now, go to your notes now, see. And then 6 says,

when this was noised abroad, right? The multitude

came together and were confounded, because that

every man had them speaking his own what? Language.

7. And they were all amazed and marveled, saying

one unto another, Behold, are not all these which

speak what? Can you see the language? So are

they not all of them speak Galileans? Right?

8. And how we hear them speak? How we, every

man, hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein

we were? Born. Nine. Now, Parthians, Medes, Elamites,

dwellers in Mesopotamia and in Judea, mind you,

they say that wherein we were born. So there's

an identity of this group of people. Amen? Good.

So, Parthians and this group of people that are

saying wherein we were born, all of them have

same identity. Glory to Jesus. Amen? And then

now, verse 8. 9. Patians and Medes, Elamites

and dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judea, and

in Cappadocia, and Pontus, and what? Asia. It's

not telling us that these are different languages.

No. It's telling us that these same people with

same identity, with same tongue, are dwellers

in all these different regions. Amen? Good. Let's

keep reading down now. Phrygia, Pamphylia in

Egypt and in parts of Libya about Cyrene and

strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes, Cretes

and Arabians. We do hear them speak in our what?

In our what? So which means all these people

speak a common tongue. Are they not which we

hear them speak Galilean? They speak our own

language. They are our brothers. But what we

hear them declare, It's the wonderful works of

who? Of God. 12 now, everybody. And they were

all amidst and in doubt, saying one to another,

what meaneth what? This. 13. Others were mocking

and said, these men are full of what? Let me

read another version here. But others were laughing

and joking and ridiculing them, saying they are

full of sweet wine and are what? And are drunk.

If we hear that they are mocking at them and

saying that they are drunk, does it mean that

they were speaking intelligible words? No, they

will not be speaking words that are common English

language. Come on, let me say this. When I come

now and say, sir, you know, God is good to me.

God is good. God is this. I've been to declare

the wonderful works of God in English language.

Will you mock at me? You will not mock at me

because the words are what? Yes, are sensible.

But when I now come, right? I come in Atama language.

And then I began to speak. Everybody is waiting

for me to speak. I refuse to speak. And then

I begin to speak. And then I begin to speak.

And then suddenly you say, ah, Kostin is declaring

the wonderful works of God. The question would

be, how did you know that it's a wonderful work?

Do you know whether I'm negotiating now they

should sell you? But you see, because you don't

understand what I'm saying, it's easier for you

to do what? To mock at me. Sir, are you okay?

You start touching me. It means that what they

heard them, they were speaking, In 1, 2, 3. Cannot

be a common language. Because if it's a common

language that is sensible to them. There will

not be room for them to mock at them. Are we

all here? So. Now. They were hearing them. Speaking.

A gibberish tongue. What I'm saying gibberish

is that. They were speaking words that were not

what? That were not. Making sense to the mind.

Question now will be, then how did they come

by saying that these people now are speaking

the wonderful works of what? Of God. This is

where tongues and interpretation of tongues now

sets in. Hallelujah. What they had that they

made a conclusion that they were declaring the

wonderful works of God is that This man, mind

you, in Acts chapter 1, in 2, 1, 3, said that

they spoke in what? In tongues, as the Holy Ghost

gave them what? Did he say that they spoke in

Jewish? In Hebrew? In Galilean? No. Hallelujah.

They spoke in a supernatural language that is

not common to that society. However, the society

now will mock at them, yet at the same time,

say we hear them speak the wonderful works of

who? So a question should be running in your

mind. How is it that they will mock at them and

at the same time affirm that we can hear them

speak the wonderful works of God? So what was

happening there is that there is a tongue and

what? Interpretation of what? Of tongues. So

the events that came upon them, right, didn't

only brought tongue to them, didn't only bring

the experience of tongue to them, but also there

was an experience of what? Interpretation of

what? Of tongues. 1 Corinthians 14, everybody.

1 Corinthians 14. 12 minutes. 1 Corinthians 14.

Verse 2, everybody. Verse 2. Don't worry. We're

going to have a detailed, detailed precept upon

precept teaching on this. 2. For he that speaketh

in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto who? Not

unto men, but unto who? But unto who? When they

began speaking in tongues, were they speaking

to men? But how is it that men now say that we

hear them declare the wonderful works of God?

Amen? See now, now, continue. But unto God, for

no man, what? Understandeth him. No man will

understand him because no man cannot relate to

him. So the easiest thing is to mock at that

man. That is why till today, people mock at tongues.

They mock at it. Because it's not a language

for the man to understand. However, we are bringing

balance to him. How be it in the spirit, he speaketh

what? Mysteries. 1 Corinthians chapter 12. Do

we see that the Holy Ghost will manifest tongues

in the believer? So if the believer speaketh

tongues, right? Is he speaking it in the spirit

or is he speaking it out of the spirit? In the

spirit because that is a manifestation of the

gift of the spirit, right? Good. Perfect. Then

now three. But he that prophesied speaketh unto

men to what? Edification and exaltation and comfort.

Four now. Everybody see now. But he that speaketh

in an unknown tongue edified what? Himself. But

he that prophesied edified what? The church.

Five. Five now everybody. I would that ye all

speak with what? Do you think he was writing

to an unbelieving church? He was writing to a

what? To a believing church. And if he says,

I would that ye all. If he says, ye all, means

what? Come on now. When he says, ye all, means

what? Everyone. That everyone should participate

in the speaking of tongues. But rather, that

ye may what? Prophesied. For greater is he that

prophesied than he that speaketh with what? Tongues.

See now, everybody. Except he what? Everybody,

except he. So, where there is tongue and interpretation,

what we will see is that the church will receive

what? Edifying. Because when it comes to utterance

gift, tongues, it relates to what? Speaking.

Speaking in the spirit. In and through the spirit.

Now, it does not stop there. You remember we

said that he gave it to every man to profit what?

To profit with all. Right? So, which means that

that profit with all, if we carry it and put

it here, we can equate it to what? Edifying.

Because now, that profit that the man will bring,

that profit will be to edify. The church. So

every time there is tongue and interpretation

of tongue, what we see is what? Edification.

So you can write it this way, mathematics. Tongues

plus edification plus interpretation of tongues

is equal to what? Edification. And don't stop

there. Art again and equals to prophecy. Tongues

plus interpretation of tongues is equal to what?

Edification. And is equal to what? Prophecy.

So what is tongue now? Let me quickly rush this

now. I'm not going to my notes so that I can

rush this. Tongue is that what? The scripture

says in that verse too. How be it I don't speak

unto men, I speak unto who? Unto God. So at what

point do I speak unto men? When I begin to bring

what? Interpretation. Then she begins to say,

Glory! Edification comes. The same thing equates

with prophecy. He said, I would that ye, go back

to verse 3, verse 4. Verse 4. He that speaketh

and uttereth himself, but he that prophesied

what? Edified. Please, if it's your Bible, underline

the word. He that prophesied, edified the church.

Next verse now. Next verse, C. Next verse, from

B. For greater is he that prophesied than he

that speaketh with tongues, except he what? Interpret

that the church may receive what? So, the same

thing that we find when there is tongue and interpretation

of tongue and the church is edified, from verse

4 now, so also we see that prophecy brings. Why?

Because prophecy, right, is speaking for the

mind of God. Right? In a language that is common

to the understanding of man. Do you hear what

I just said now? I'm running, I'm running now.

Prophecy, right? Is speaking for the mind of

God. Right? In a language that is common to the

understanding of what? Of man. So which means

if I want to prophesy, or there's a manifestation

of the gift of the Spirit, Right? In prophecy,

I will not come to man of God and say, You know?

Okay, let me not go there. You know? And then

I go, Say amen. And then leave her. I've left

her in more confusion than I met her. But you

see, what prophecy will do is that prophecy will

come with English language that she understands.

If it's Igbo, if I understand Igbo very well,

she understands Igbo very well, I say, you know,

and then I begin to speak Igbo. When I finish

speaking Igbo, you know, when I finish, She'll

go, glory, glory, glory, glory. She'll say, ha,

God is speaking to me. You see, the same joy

that she did is the same with tongues. So when

we say pray in tongues and interpret the tongues,

let me say something now that just came to me.

When you come to interpret tongues, The interpretation

of tongues comes in the language that is common

to the receiver. Do you know what I just said

now? Interpretation of tongues comes in a language

that is what? Common to the receiver. If the

receiver understands Igbo, well, interpretation

should come to him in what? In Igbo. If he's

in Kinyarwanda, in Swahili, it should come to

him in what? Swahili. Because the end of it is

that the church may receive what? A defying.

Glory to Jesus. Hallelujah. Do you understand?

Is it clear enough? Is it clear enough, everybody?

Yes, so. So which means that in the next minutes

that we have ahead of us, we're going to have

tongues. We're going to have what? Interpretation

of tongues. And we're going to have what? Prophecy.

Right? So let me just add this for us so that

we can quickly add it regarding prophecy. Long

teachings. Write this now. Just add this as part

of the operations of prophecy, everybody. So,

in prophecy, how we will know the operation of

prophecy? Everybody can just write this down.

Right? Which can also happen with tongues and

what? Interpretation of tongues. Amen? By the

way, let me say this before I say this. That

all the manifestation of the gifts of the Spirit,

they are operations that will happen at the spur

of the moment. You don't need to plan them. They

are not pre -planned things. You go and plan

something. somewhere in their house. You know?

That's what fake prophets do. They will plan

it. You know? They will check, check, check,

check, check, check. Okay, they will know that

their name is Simon. They will know that their

name is this. They say, okay, Simon, when I call

you, right? Say, hey, oh, pa, pa, pa, pa, pa,

pa, pa, pa. When I say, eh, so, so, so, so, so,

in Zimbabwe or Tanzania, they say, yes, daddy,

yes, daddy, yes, daddy. That is not how the gifts

of the Holy Ghost work, oh. There is no prior

knowledge. Or prior information when the manifestation

is in operation. Amen? I needed to say that because

it's important. Because often when people see

this, they say it's already planned. How is it

that he knew that the person is from Tanzania

specifically? This church, can you see? You know

some people, they say, even in this end time,

even in this small church, they are still faking

prophecy and faking things. Let me not say what

I want to say. Add this now to prophecy. That

in prophecy, I've said that to you, it implies

to speak forth by the spirit or by the inspiration

of the spirit at the spur of the moment. To speak

forth by the spirit, by inspiration at the spur

of the moment. Right? The spur of the moment.

About things that will happen. About things that

will what? That will happen. About things that

will happen. Are we all there? Yeah, so we're

going to have lots of things that will happen,

instructions that will come to us, right? That

will happen, that God will bring to us in the

next hours that is coming upon us. Amen? Glory

to Jesus. Glory to Jesus. In revelational gifts,

word of knowledge, word of wisdom, and discerning

of spirits, right? What is word of knowledge?

Because we had this not long ago. Word of knowledge,

what's word of knowledge? Word of knowledge is

revision. This one is revision. I will not do

anything about it. Word of knowledge. Huh? Word

of knowledge. Not word of wisdom. Word of knowledge.

Past and present. Right? Yes. An event that is

happening now. Right? From the mind of God. Without

prior knowledge. No arrangements. You see, yesterday,

I didn't know anybody that had a symptom of hynea.

No prior knowledge. Yesterday, I didn't know

anybody that had a symptom that has to do with

obstructive whatever. Right? This morning, I

don't have any knowledge about who is Stephanie.

Amen? I don't have all this knowledge. But one

thing I know from the mind of God is that God

had already what? Attended to it. Amen. Word

of wisdom. Yes. So word of wisdom can come with

a condition or without condition. So often you

will hear, you know, there has been a struggle

in your heart regarding the instruction God has

given you, right? To start out a work of ministry.

However, this is the direction that the Lord

is bringing. He said that he will lead you to

this person, to this. Sometimes it will come

with specifics. to this person, to this person,

and you will know it by this and this and this.

You see? So, the person, no prior knowledge,

but yet God is revealing it and even giving more

direction on what to do. Glory to Jesus. Designing

of spirits, we've learned it. One of the last

things we did, right? Is what? Yes, to distinguish,

to see into the spirit realm. We say that there

are different spirits. We are not the ones there

alone. Amen? Yes. Pastor Emmanuel taught us on

power gifts. Gifts of healing. And what we learned

in gifts of healing, I don't want to go back

there. What we learned in gifts of healing, right?

Gifts of healing has to do with what? Physical

ailments, diseases. Right? That we see the power

of God bringing healing. Suddenly a body is sick

and then hands are laid and we see instant wholeness

come to the body. Glory to Jesus. Amen? Yes.

Now we say gifts of faith. Gifts of faith is

what? Ah, we need to do a thorough revision on

this. Detailed one. Gifts of faith. Huh? Hallelujah.

The gifts of the Spirit when in oppression is

that you can receive for me a miracle. Hallelujah.

You can give or receive for me a what? A miracle.

Working of miracles. Yes ma. When you suspend.

I must get something in this season. No. Yeah,

I have to get it. God is the best student in

this class. I must get it. On a serious note,

I will get it. No. She has imparted me in spiritual

and now with these answers, I will impart her

immaterialities. I will minister to her canalities.

Walking of miracles is the supernatural superimposing

over the natural. There is no wine in the feast.

And Jesus now brings what? Wine into what? The

feast. He said, go and borrow vessels, not a

few. Borrow, borrow, not a few. What do you have?

Borrow more vessels. From the little oil, now

we have all the vessels are filled with what?

Oil. Say, carry them, sell them. And do what?

And pay up the debt. Working of what? Miracles.

Working of miracles with healing. Organ is dead.

Kidney is gone. And then we lay hands there.

Amen. Kidney is gone. Oh, bad kidney. We lay

hands there and then a new kidney comes to the

person. The person goes to the hospital and the

doctors declare, when did you have a transplant?

Because you didn't hold it in this hospital.

As long as our record is stating you had your

last dialysis last two days. How is it that a

new kidney came? Working of miracles is that

the man comes blind into a conference like this.

And hands are laid. He receives healing and he

receives a new eye. Supernatural, superimposing

over the what? The natural. All these are working

by self -same what? Spirit. Unlimited supply

of the power of the Holy Ghost. So what I'm saying

in essence now, we're praying right now. What

I'm saying in essence is that the gifts of the

Holy Ghost, the manifestation of the gifts of

the Holy Ghost in the believer has no limits.

Do you hear what I just said? Has no what? Has

no limits. Get into cities. Get into houses.

Get into places. Get into nations with so much

boldness by the Spirit of the Lord and see a

greater manifestation of the power of the Holy

Ghost. Every day I wake up, I desire that soon

it will be seen, it will be heard. You know,

I will gather a crowd unnumbered. Crusades will

be held. Short meetings will be held. Where two

or three are gathered will be held. I keep telling

myself, whether it's two people, it will be with

the same intensity. Whether it's 2 ,000 people,

it will be with the same intensity. Whether it's

2 million people, it will still be what? The

same. Even if he's exploit and early know that

they say, sir, can you come and speak with them?

It will be with the same what? Intensity. The

expectation will not grow low. What I'm saying

is that the will to see more, the desire to see

more. Call that your dad that is sick. Call that

your mom that is sick. Call that your friend

that is sick. Lay hands, you will see healing.

Just yield more to the Holy Ghost. The Holy Spirit

will give you instruction for that your stubborn

friend. Through that instruction, that friend

will be saved and delivered. Can we pray in the

Holy Ghost everybody? We appreciate you being
