  1. Welcome to NECF Sermons. Each message here is

  2. designed to uplift and strengthen you in your

  3. walk with God. Don't miss out. Stay with us until

  4. the end for a rewarding experience. Let's dive

  5. right in. We're praying. I perceive that someone

  6. has a difficulty hearing on their right ear.

  7. has a difficulty hearing in their right ear,

  8. right now I speak to that ear. I said, every

  9. blockage is open right now in the name of Jesus.

  10. Every difficulty in hearing, we see that every

  11. pain is gone. Every pain is gone in that ear

  12. right now in the name of Jesus. Father, we thank

  13. you. Father, we thank you for healing. Thank

  14. you for healing. Thank you for healing. Thank

  15. you for your healing power will continue to find

  16. expression. Every time we're met with a difficult

  17. situation or any form of sicknesses, we'll continue

  18. to be bold to open our mouth and speak in the

  19. power and the authority that you have given unto

  20. us to cast out devils, to heal the sick. Father,

  21. we thank you because we'll continue to press

  22. on. We'll continue to insist. We'll continue

  23. to seek more of your power, find expression in

  24. and through us in the name of Jesus. In the mighty

  25. name of Jesus, we pray. Amen. Let's have a seat.

  26. I want to thank God for this opportunity and

  27. thank the pastorate, our lead pastor and the

  28. ostrich pastors for the opportunity to continue

  29. on the teaching, to teach. I think I listened

  30. to the Sunday service and I discovered I was

  31. probably a lot, it seemed like I was very fast

  32. in the last Sunday. I think I was probably wanting

  33. to get to the part where we pray. And I will

  34. pick it a bit, I'll be a lot slower so that we

  35. can be able to. at least make the most of it

  36. and take proper notes on the teaching. So a topic

  37. is still what comes next after the Believers

  38. Conference, what comes next after the Believers

  39. Conference. And what I want to start to do is

  40. to make us see the reasons why we gather and

  41. then the reasons why we must continue. That's

  42. basically the two things we're going to focus

  43. on, why we gather and why we must continue to

  44. engage, continue to persist in the things and

  45. continue to... absorb and let the things that

  46. we learn always find expression because practice

  47. is important. Practice is very important. If

  48. you're learning and you're not putting into practice

  49. what you're learning, you will not make progress.

  50. There is nowhere that you, there's in fact even

  51. skills that you learn that requires hand, that

  52. requires you using your brain, using your hands,

  53. they will always encourage that you practice

  54. because It's in practice that you realize that

  55. there's more. It's when we practice that we see

  56. the need to improve. We practice that we see

  57. the need to go back and check our notes. Praise

  58. God. And this is just right after the Believers

  59. Conference. And what this is meant to do is to

  60. help us to be reminded that if we forget the

  61. things that we have learned or the things that

  62. we have received, we will lose it. We will lose

  63. the things that we learned. And we looked at

  64. Micah 4, 1 -5. Micah 4, 1 -5. And I read it to

  65. us because it reads like a head, but we're reading

  66. it in the now. Praise God. We're reading it in

  67. the now. And in the New King James, Micah 4,

  68. 1 -5, it says, It has come to pass that on the

  69. mountain of the Lord's house that we are established

  70. on the top of the mountains. and is exalted above

  71. the hills. People shall flow to it and people

  72. are flowing to it. The house of Venice here,

  73. people are coming to the house of Venice here.

  74. And in this season, we'll see the increase as

  75. the teaching of God's word. We'll see that in

  76. scripture, we'll see that the teaching as people

  77. spread and the teaching of God's word continues,

  78. there's an increase. Two now says many nations,

  79. many nations, many nations, many nations shall

  80. come and say, come. and let us go up to the mountain

  81. of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob.

  82. I said the emphasis is on this part. He said

  83. he will teach us his ways and we shall walk in

  84. his paths. So the teaching of his ways and the

  85. walking in his paths happens when we gather.

  86. Praise God. The teaching of his ways and the

  87. walking in his paths happens when we gather.

  88. Practice teaching and learning of God's word.

  89. majorly. We'll see it all through scripture.

  90. We're going to look at some passages. It happens

  91. when we gather. It happens when we gather. It

  92. says, For out of Zion the law shall go forth,

  93. and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. Praise

  94. God. It says, He shall judge between many peoples,

  95. and rebuke strong nations afar off. They shall

  96. beat their swords into plowshares, and their

  97. spears into proning hooks. Nation shall not lift

  98. up sword against nation, neither shall they learn

  99. war anymore. But everyone shall sit under his

  100. vine and under his fig tree, and no one shall

  101. make them afraid, for the mouth of the Lord has

  102. spoken. For all people will walk each in the

  103. name of his God, and he will walk. in the name

  104. of the Lord our God forever and ever. And I emphasize

  105. the fact that going up a mountain is not easy.

  106. Going up a mountain is difficult. It requires

  107. sacrifice. It requires commitment. And we say

  108. that the whole process of teaching and learning

  109. is also the same. On Sunday service, you have

  110. a lot more people. On a weekday, you have people

  111. because I saw our sister coming. You're coming

  112. from somewhere. You had a long day. but you still

  113. were able to say this place is important and

  114. you made it here and it requires sacrifice. Anything

  115. that requires sacrifice would require, would

  116. demand more than the usual. Anything, any form

  117. of sacrifice demands more than the usual. And

  118. these people made it, they went to the mountain

  119. to, as I said, there's a going up the mountain

  120. and there's the, what are we going to do, right?

  121. And we know that anytime we gather in church

  122. like this, we gather to learn, we gather to grow.

  123. And we know that it's important to us. That's

  124. why we always make it a habit to show up or between

  125. to show up. And even in the Believer's Conference,

  126. when we gather, and that's the thing, when we

  127. gather and we're stretched for that long period

  128. of time, coming in in a week seems like, because

  129. how many hours do we spend in a week and how

  130. many hours are we able to put into that time?

  131. Because if you compare and contrast, you see

  132. the square, this one requires us to be stretched.

  133. The Believer's Conference requires us to be stretched.

  134. And then we... In that stretch, we're able to

  135. see that there is more. Then when we now come

  136. back to the routine, we have that sustained coming,

  137. sustained meetings, and we have the times, our

  138. personal times, where we learn and we grow, and

  139. then we continue, and the process keeps building

  140. us more and more. And they go up. We say that

  141. there's a literal side to it where it's a mountain,

  142. it's a location, and there's a spiritual side

  143. to it because people go to make with God. Praise

  144. God. And we say that there are times where even...

  145. Because there's the practicality of the mountains,

  146. there's the safety and security, even with regards

  147. to war. The whole idea communicates a bit of

  148. war. And if you're on an elevated platform, it's

  149. easier for you to see the enemies that are coming

  150. at you. So there's a practical side to it. And

  151. even with regards to teaching, when you're on

  152. an elevated level, it's easier for you to be

  153. able to communicate. People see you and people...

  154. hear you a lot easier there's if you've been

  155. to and when you shout it says the waves take

  156. your voice a lot farther and we talked about

  157. that so i will just go into and i took us to

  158. this situation in acts in acts 26 verse 14 where

    Acts 26:14

  159. i i took us there to help us see the apostle

  160. paul's account of or recounting what happened

  161. in acts and And we see that in that conversation,

  162. we see that he was, at that point in time, making

  163. efforts against the will of God. And the change

  164. happens. And that change happened because God

  165. had met with the individual, God had met with

  166. him. And even when he met with him, which is

  167. the point we're going to spend time and look

  168. at, because we'll see the importance of the gathering,

  169. we'll see the importance of people, because people

  170. are who make up the gathering. And in Apostle

  171. Paul's meeting with God, he had to meet with

  172. an individual. It was our brother Ananias. He

  173. had to meet with an individual. And you see the

  174. importance and how it connects and how it kick

  175. -started and jump -started his whole growth process

  176. and his learning process because all of that

  177. is in keeping with the fact that gatherings are

  178. important. People that make up the gatherings

  179. are important. If we undermine the gathering,

  180. undermine people who will not make growth, will

  181. not learn and will not progress. That's why we

  182. encourage ourselves regularly as a church that

  183. we should prioritize the people that God has

  184. placed around you. Don't take for granted relationships.

  185. Don't take for granted the moments when you have

  186. people because you will not always have those

  187. types of people. You will not even know the value

  188. of those persons until when they are no longer.

  189. They are prioritizing and making the most of

  190. the meetings, ensure meetings and people, ensures

  191. that we don't live after our regrets. We live

  192. after our regrets. So I said we'll start to,

  193. we'll go to how God uses, how God walks through

  194. gatherings, how God walks through gatherings.

  195. We said this is central to how God meets or walks

  196. through his people. It's very important that

  197. we see all true scriptures. So if... God is going

  198. to do anything. He will do it in meetings and

  199. he will do it through people. So first focus

  200. on gathering because gathering is where we're

  201. taught. When they said, let us go up to the mountain,

  202. they're going to gather, praise God. And when

  203. they gather, what happens in the gathering is

  204. important or is valuable to what is necessary

  205. for the growth of the people. And I mentioned

  206. that the experience, you know, when I told us

  207. of the Psalms of Ascent, which is the Psalms,

  208. 1 Corinthians to the Psalms. 1, 34. Those are

  209. 15. There are 15 of them. Those are the sounds

  210. they sing on their way up. Meaning that the experience

  211. or the excitement to go up is not, they are excited

  212. to go up. You know, when David said, I was glad

  213. when they said to me, let's go to the house.

  214. It's an excitement, right? And that excitement

  215. is what fuels the whole process of learning,

  216. the whole process of the experience or the whole

  217. process of going up because it makes the whole

  218. journey worthwhile. I mean, I think that I remember

  219. those times when we are going as a church, we're

  220. going to either salamis or going to places, when

  221. in the vehicle we'll sing, we'll sing, we'll

  222. just join and sing songs and all of that. It

  223. makes the whole process or the whole journey

  224. exciting. Praise God. Just looking forward to

  225. going to that place. And we say that faithfulness

  226. is required for every meeting. Faithfulness to

  227. every meeting is required for growth. Faithfulness

  228. to every meeting and every word is required for

  229. growth. Because we don't see growth without commitment.

  230. We see growth with consistency. We see growth

  231. with just being fervent. We see growth with just

  232. putting more, just being committed, because that's

  233. how we go on. And every of Jesus' disciples,

  234. every of the disciples as well, and even the

  235. disciples that were made afterwards, we see that

  236. they were committed. We see that they were gathered.

  237. They're always that team of gathering together,

  238. that team of learning. that team of studying,

  239. and that is what guaranteed that they grew. Praise

  240. God. That's what guaranteed that they grew. So

  241. I want us to look at Mark 3. Let's start off

  242. from 13. We'll see the team of mountain, and

  243. then we'll go down to 14. Mark 3, 13. Mark 3,

  244. 13, it says, And they went up on the mountain,

  245. and he called him to those, and he called to

  246. him those who himself wanted. And they came to

  247. him, right? So he went up to the mountain and

  248. he called them. And this is when he appointed

  249. the twelve. So then he appointed the twelve that

  250. they might be with him, right? And that he might

  251. send them out to preach. So note that the very

  252. key thing is that they had to first come to him.

  253. He was on the mountain, come to him. They were

  254. with him. They were taught before they were sent.

  255. So it emphasizes the importance of meeting together

  256. to be taught. And after we are taught, then we

  257. are sent. Praise God. Meaning that after we have

  258. learned all that we have learned in the course

  259. of the week, we have learned it. So we are going

  260. now. Praise God. There's a going that happens

  261. afterward because we have done all the teaching

  262. and the training. There's also the opportunity

  263. to practice. Praise God. So meetings are important

  264. because that is where we are taught. Right? And

  265. then what we do after we are taught is that we

  266. go and do. Praise God. We go and we do. So we

  267. don't just come and learn to have head knowledge.

  268. We don't just go and learn or we don't just come

  269. and learn and say, oh, I know contextual, I know

  270. canonical context, I know supernatural context,

  271. I know immediate context. All of those things

  272. are beautiful because the whole learning process

  273. should translate into process, translate into

  274. actions. It has to go beyond words. It has to

  275. go beyond words. All that we've learned means

  276. that When you see someone and an opportunity

  277. presents itself, as we saw in Acts 24, 25, sorry,

  278. Acts 25, 26, as we saw that Sunday, the opportunity,

  279. he took hold of the opportunity. That word there

  280. is, he has there is the laban, where he is not

  281. just, he has the opportunity. He sees the opportunity.

  282. He took hold of the opportunity to recount what

  283. had happened to him in Acts, in Acts 9. He took

  284. hold of the opportunity. It means that once you

  285. have learned, you are always looking for an opportunity

  286. to present that which you have learned. Praise

  287. God. You're always looking for an opportunity

  288. to present. So there is no breaks when it comes

  289. to practicing what you have been taught. There

  290. is no breaks. You don't go on holidays. You're

  291. looking for an opportunity and then you'll do.

  292. You're looking for an opportunity and then you

  293. do. 2 Timothy 3 verse 14. 2 Timothy 3 verse 14.

    2 Timothy 3:14 2 Timothy 3:14

  294. And remember we said that Discipleship is a continue.

  295. You continue in discipleship. You continue in

  296. discipleship. Jesus' disciples, they continued.

  297. They learned. He sent them out to practice. So

  298. he says, but you must continue in the things

  299. which you have learned and being assured of,

  300. knowing from whom you have learned them. So he

  301. says you must continue. You must continue. You

  302. must continue. He didn't say you should take

  303. breaks. He didn't say you should stop. He didn't

  304. say you should just relax. He didn't say any

  305. of those. He says you must continue in the things

  306. that you have learned. Meaning that the persuasion

  307. that you got must be sustained. And how do we

  308. sustain the persuasion? It's by going back and

  309. looking at it again. Going back and ruminating

  310. on it again and again. Going back. And I know

  311. for some of us, you know what would have happened

  312. is that during the course of the teaching, there

  313. are certain sessions that you missed. Praise

  314. God. And your note has those spaces. You know,

  315. I was looking at somebody's note. I was saying,

  316. you have gap here, gap here, gap there. You want

  317. to go back and commit to filling in those gaps.

  318. Praise God. Because you want to have a flow,

  319. not breaks. Praise God. Don't have break in it.

  320. Because once you leave those gaps, you are likely

  321. not going to get back to it. You want to go back

  322. to it and use it as an opportunity to refresh

  323. your memory and the things that you've learned.

  324. Because that's how we're able to solidify and

  325. take in what we are. learning or what we have

  326. learned praise god because we have to be persuaded

  327. right we have to be persuaded if you're not persuaded

  328. about the things that you are saying you can't

  329. convince anybody about it praise god so and the

  330. more we get back to it the more we ruminate on

  331. it the more we this in fact discuss because what

  332. you can do it is what i will get around to is

  333. creating like having a discussion like ask the

  334. other person oh What part of the teaching excited

  335. you? What part of it? Most of it, all of the

  336. teachings are practical. And you can sit down

  337. and have discussions around it. And that makes

  338. it more exciting. Remember, I think we'll get

  339. to it shortly. Remember that there is the beauty

  340. of communities that we're together. And if you

  341. want to learn or if you cannot remember stuff,

  342. if you want to learn and be able to remember

  343. stuff, you want to rely on... Brethren, because

  344. when you discuss or study or gather around God's

  345. word, there's a likelihood that there's no way

  346. you will discuss about something again and again

  347. or ruminate on it that you will forget. And once

  348. you do that, you hold yourselves accountable

  349. to practice. Praise God. You hold yourself accountable

  350. to practice. And then the other point is continuing

  351. in prayer. Continuing in prayer. That is in Colossians

  352. 4, 2 -4. continue, we must continue earnestly

  353. in prayer. Colossians 4, 2 -4. We must continue

  354. earnestly in prayer. For a good amount of us,

  355. that's stretch. You know what happens with stretches

  356. like that is that you are seeing yourself pulled

  357. to a limit where you can never do that by yourself

  358. in your house. You are able to do that effectively

  359. because you are in a gathering. Praise God. You

  360. are able to do that. effectively because you're

  361. in a garden. And when you have had that experience,

  362. you want to continue, right? You want to continue.

  363. So if you have done, if you, those of us that

  364. are around on Saturday, if you have prayed for

  365. that long, one hour will not be too long for

  366. you afterwards. Praise God. And it means that

  367. you are going to continue. And note that you

  368. are doing all of that to, as it says in the passage,

  369. it says, continue endlessly in prayer. Being

  370. vigilant in it with thanksgiving. Praise God.

  371. Being vigilant in it with thanksgiving. Meanwhile,

  372. praying also for us, that God will open to us

  373. a door for the Word. Meaning that in your praying,

  374. you're not just praying and you're vigilant,

  375. you're praying for others. Praise God. You're

  376. praying for others because it says, praying also

  377. for us, that God will open to us a door. of for

  378. the word, meaning that you're praying for opportunities.

  379. Remember what we said about opportunities? You're

  380. praying for an opportunity to preach the word.

  381. You're praying for your pastors. Different opportunities

  382. and the chances we get to preach the word. You're

  383. praying for your family. You're praying for your

  384. siblings. Praying for an opportunity to preach

  385. the word to them. Praying for an opportunity

  386. to preach the word for their classmate. And that

  387. is the way we will see. And because if you're

  388. taking your time to pray for an individual, I

  389. guarantee you that when the opportunity presents

  390. itself, for you to minister to that individual,

  391. you will not shrink back. Praise God. You will

  392. not shrink back because you have been praying

  393. and you're going to seize the opportunity and

  394. minister to that individual who says, to speak

  395. the mystery of Christ for which I am also in

  396. chains, that I may make it manifest as I ought

  397. to speak. Praise God. That the words that you

  398. have all trans, that you are able to... Continue

  399. to minister. And you're doing it, as the passage

  400. earlier says, you're praying and praying with

  401. thanksgiving. Praying for opportunities to evangelize.

  402. Praying for an opportunity to minister. And we

  403. don't want to take breaks. Praise God. We don't

  404. want to take breaks because once you take breaks,

  405. you're slowing the momentum. You're dragging

  406. your feet back and you get back to status quo.

  407. Praise God. You get back to status quo. And for

  408. many of us, you want to fight the desire to go

  409. back to normal. You want to fight the desire

  410. to go back to normal. Because normal is easy.

  411. Praise God. Normal is easy. But what is difficult

  412. is switching to what is important for your growth,

  413. what is important for change to happen. And we've

  414. seen... Matthew 28, 16, 17, we see that the great

  415. commission or the instruction to go and make

  416. disciples was given in a gathering. It was given

  417. where the people were gathered under instructions,

  418. meaning that instructions will come for people

  419. to go and do in the gathering. We'll come to

  420. Acts 13, 1, but know that it's in the gathering

  421. that we get instructions. And when we get those

  422. instructions, we're able to go and follow through

  423. with instructions. When Jesus Christ appointed,

  424. when Jesus Christ instructed his disciples, he

  425. instructed them to go and make disciples. He

  426. instructed them to go and do all that he has

  427. commanded them. He instructed them to go. And

  428. we are actively instructed to go, right? And

  429. seize every opportunity that we have to make

  430. disciples, to bring others into and disciple

  431. others. Disciple others is very key. And in your

  432. discipling orders, you're taking your time to

  433. teach what you have been taught. Praise God.

  434. You're teaching what you have been taught. You

  435. don't go elsewhere. You are teaching what you

  436. have been taught. That's why if your notes are

  437. not proper, if your notes are not, you don't

  438. properly document the notes, your notes are like

  439. a map. If your notes are not properly crafted

  440. in such a way that you can be able to take them

  441. of when a customer was saying, can you be able

  442. to teach this thing that you're being taught?

  443. If your notes are not documented properly, that's

  444. why you want to. Pay attention to how you document

  445. the things that you're learning. Pay attention

  446. to how you're documenting the things that you're

  447. learning because you are going to go and make

  448. disciples and you make disciples by what you

  449. have learned is what you're going to be teaching.

  450. Praise God. And we said in Acts, which is what

  451. I alluded to, in Acts 13, verse 1. Acts 13, verse

    Acts 13:1 Acts 13:1

  452. 1. It's in gatherings where we get instructions

  453. and we don't want to neglect or forsake gatherings.

  454. So now in the church, that was at Antioch. There

  455. were certain prophets and teachers, Barnabas,

  456. Simeon, who was called, neither, Lucius of Cyrene,

  457. Manian, who had been brought up with Herod, the

  458. Tetrarch, and Saul. It says, As they ministered

  459. to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said,

  460. Now separate to me Barnabas and Saul for the

  461. work which I have called them. Meaning that it's...

  462. In meetings like this, when we gather, we get

  463. instructions. And for many of us, we got instructions.

  464. Praise God. We got instructions. For many of

  465. us, the instructions we got is a repeat of the

  466. instructions we have gotten before. And it means

  467. that if you are getting the same instruction,

  468. you don't need any sign. Praise God. You don't

  469. need any sign to do something about it. Praise

  470. God. You don't need any sign to do something

  471. about it. And in meetings like this, the Holy

  472. Spirit will minister through. and people will

  473. be commissioned, people will be sent out. So

  474. we want to continue in the things that we have

  475. been instructed to do, right? Instructions. Just

  476. imagine Barnabas and Saul were given the word

  477. and then they still hanged in. They still decided

  478. to just chill a couple of weeks. They didn't

  479. do that. They want to be able to get on with

  480. it. Praise God. Get on with it. You don't know

  481. how it's going to go. You just start. Praise

  482. God. You start. You start. You start putting

  483. things together and get to work. Praise God.

  484. And then it's also in gatherings where we are

  485. being disciplined. Right? It's also in gatherings

  486. where we are being disciplined. It's also in

  487. gatherings that we learn not to take offense.

  488. It's in gatherings that we are disciplined. It's

  489. in gatherings that we learn not to. take offense,

  490. and we do a lot of learning and gatherings. You

  491. know, for people that do things by themselves,

  492. you can't understand how to work with people

  493. if you just work all by yourself. And that's

  494. why God has made it important for us to gather

  495. like this, to learn from one another, to be taught

  496. by one another, to have your brother offend you,

  497. and then you deal with that offense. Right? To

  498. have your brother offend you and deal with that

  499. offense. We see in Matthew 18. 15 to 20. Let's

  500. just read it quickly. It gives us a protocol

  501. for how to match you. 18, 15 to 20. It says,

  502. Moreover, if your brother sins against you, go

  503. and tell him his faults between you and him alone.

  504. So it means that you'll have to meet the person

  505. one -on -one and try to go about resolving it.

  506. And it says that if he hears you, you have gained

  507. your brother. 16. But if... He will not hear.

  508. Take with you one or two more, that by the amount

  509. of two or three witnesses, every word may be

  510. established. Meaning that you tried one person,

  511. you go, it doesn't work, you bring two. He says,

  512. and if he refuses to hear them, take it to the

  513. church. Or if he refuses even to hear the church,

  514. he says, let him be. to you like a hidden or

  515. a tax collector. Remember we said that when you're

  516. 18, just going back to the 70s, it doesn't have

  517. to be to you like a hidden tax collector. We've

  518. been taught in the house that if it's to you

  519. like a hidden tax collector, it doesn't mean

  520. that you cast him out. You say, that one, no,

  521. you're a non -believer. It's not that you cast

  522. him out. And you want to ask yourself, how did

  523. Jesus treat the tax collectors, right? How did

  524. Jesus treat the hidden? How do you treat people

  525. that do not believe? How do you treat the tax

  526. collector, people that are... that people see

  527. as corrupt. How do you treat them? If you didn't

  528. treat them that way, then you should. He is the

  529. example. Praise God. Then in 18, it says, Surely

  530. I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will

  531. be bound in heaven, and whatever you lose on

  532. earth will be loosed in heaven. 19, it says,

  533. Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth

  534. concerning anything that they ask, it will be

  535. done for them by my Father in heaven. Then 20,

  536. He says, where two or three are gathered together

  537. in my name, I am there in the midst of them.

  538. So we see that all of this comes down to agreement.

  539. There's a protocol, there's the agreement, and

  540. this just points to the fact that there's a protocol

  541. for, there's a, just here presented, it's talking

  542. about, in fact, you're trying to reconcile with

  543. your brother. And in reconciling with the brother,

  544. you are able to. employ different means because

  545. that relationship is important to you. Hence,

  546. you employ the tool of reconciliation because

  547. it's important to you. So you have to prioritize

  548. the relationship enough to be able to say, I

  549. really don't want to lose my relationship with

  550. this brother or sister. And it might not be,

  551. it's not the easiest thing to do, especially

  552. when you know that the person offends you. And

  553. when you see the passage here, it's encouraging

  554. us that Whoever you, the offender or the offendee,

  555. you are supposed to, that is the posture, employ

  556. everything. So we learn all of this when we gather.

  557. You have people offend you, you learn, you go

  558. by, you don't like it, but you still have to

  559. because that person is your brother and you want

  560. to prioritize gathering. So we don't, going forward,

  561. have our offenses. We don't do that because it's

  562. not going to help the work, it's not going to

  563. help the fellowship, it's not going to help your

  564. commitment to the things, to that brother. You

  565. know, even sometimes, you know, the way God does

  566. these things is that you are offended by the

  567. brother and then you don't plan it, but you end

  568. up sitting together. And during the time of prayer,

  569. they'll say, hold the person next to you and

  570. pray for that person. You'll just find out that

  571. now you have been set up because you can't be

  572. praying, you can't be praying evil for the person,

  573. even if you are praying evil on your own. Praise

  574. God. So, but you will have to be able to reconcile

  575. or you have to see the need or see the importance

  576. too. to continue in it. And gatherings are what

  577. happens. You don't, you don't, gatherings, you

  578. don't, you don't do, it doesn't happen in isolation.

  579. We group, we gather together as a group. Praise

  580. God. We gather together as a group because God

  581. has created us for relationships to relate with

  582. one another. And you don't, you don't need too

  583. much to find that all two as a team in scripture.

  584. As a team, we see that as a team in scripture.

  585. That God himself wants relationship with us and

  586. he wants us to have relationship with the people,

  587. with the church, with our fellow brothers and

  588. sisters in Christ. And we all are products of

  589. relationships, right? From the time of our birth

  590. to even the time of our, even to our spiritual

  591. relationships, right? Our spiritual relationships,

  592. we are a product of spiritual relationship with

  593. God and also his people. Because you're first.

  594. You come from a family, right? And in fact, that

  595. family is, or family, as we see family, it models

  596. that relationship that we have with God. Because

  597. that's why we call God our father, right? And

  598. the first, our introduction to fatherhood is

  599. our earthly parents, right? And then we now come

  600. to that point where we are able to have God as

  601. our father. So by design, we're not designed

  602. to live. Nobody's born in a test tube. Okay,

  603. people are born, they actually do that. But nobody's

  604. born in isolation. That's what I mean to say.

  605. Nobody's born in isolation. During Pastor Victor's

  606. teaching, when he was teaching us, he emphasized,

  607. because he talked about it when he went to Ephesians

  608. 5, where he was explaining. We see that there

  609. are different strata of relationships, right?

  610. There's the relationship, there's a different

  611. strata of relationship. There's the husband,

  612. the relationship between husband and wife, there's

  613. a child. The father's relationship, there's the

  614. brother and the sister's relationship. There's

  615. a relationship, the different status of relationship.

  616. And we see that scattered through scripture.

  617. And it's a we thing, right? Not an I thing. It's

  618. like, it's a we together. And there's protection

  619. in we than I, right? There's a protection in

  620. we than I. And we are called to we, right? When

  621. I say we're called to, we're called to this.

  622. I think that was very interesting. We're called

  623. to a communal lifestyle. We're not called to

  624. an individual lifestyle. We're called to a communal

  625. lifestyle, not an individual lifestyle. And that

  626. is what sustains growth. That's what sustains

  627. growth. That's what sustains increase. And even

  628. as a church, the way we are to grow, or the way

  629. we are to grow numerically is the same way. We

  630. grow numerically on the premise of... You relating

  631. with someone and bringing them to church. Right?

  632. And if you are living your life, and you know

  633. there are people that say, I'm an introvert.

  634. I just talk to myself, I'm by myself, I go into

  635. the class. And what I've learned in this short

  636. time is that anybody can be anything. You decide

  637. what you want to. Because you have lived your

  638. life as an introvert, if you need a job, you

  639. will speak. Right? You know, there's the hardship

  640. and difficulty that will hit you, that will make

  641. you open your mouth and scream. Praise God. That

  642. will make you open your mouth and scream because

  643. you cannot need help and see help, but people

  644. do. You cannot need help and see help and you

  645. desperately need that help and see help. You

  646. will always get to that point where you do what

  647. you have never done before. Praise God. So, that

  648. desire for even... Being part of. Because naturally,

  649. even when you come here, you are always, even

  650. when you arrive at the island, by default, you

  651. just want to be lit with your fellow people.

  652. You want to hang around. You want to ask them,

  653. so what's going on here? By default, you don't

  654. come and then you don't know anything. You know,

  655. people have missed their flights because they

  656. are very, like, I know my way around. Like, you

  657. have to relate with someone to get direction.

  658. You have to be lit with people and that's...

  659. the team. So, and in God's word, we see that

  660. scattered around. We see it from Genesis. Genesis

  661. 127, we see that he created male, female. He

  662. had already put that there in us, that union,

  663. that partnership, that family. So, humanity,

  664. making humanity in pairs is a pointer. It's not

  665. a coincidence. He didn't just fit one person

  666. with everything. There's a reason why he had

  667. designed that so that It creates that sense of

  668. interdependency, right? That you don't come and

  669. wake up and say, I can do it by myself. It brings

  670. us to that place where we are very dependent

  671. on one another. And it's beautiful when you don't

  672. rely on yourself for everything. It's very beautiful.

  673. And that's what God wants to, God had started

  674. to model for us so that we can be able to appreciate

  675. it when appreciating in despair or in the realm

  676. of... of the relationship that we have in God.

  677. Praise God. So we see in Genesis, Genesis 23,

  678. Genesis 2, 23. Genesis 2, 23 says, and Adam said,

  679. this is now bone of my bones and flesh of my

  680. flesh. She shall be called woman because she

  681. was taken out. She was taken out of man. So he

  682. says, this is now bone of my bone. That's Adam

  683. speaking. This is now bone of my bone and flesh

  684. of my flesh. And we see that most of the times

  685. when we see that phrase, that phrase is used

  686. exclusively, most people use it exclusively for

  687. marriage. Anytime somebody says bone of my bone

  688. and flesh of my flesh, what comes to mind is

  689. marriage because that's basically where it is

  690. used. more often but i want us to see that that

  691. is used in this sphere of relationship right

  692. because remember we said relationships are different

  693. relations but of different kinds you have you

  694. have and and i was i think before the service

  695. started i was talking to some people that sometimes

  696. we as people in our daily dealings with people

  697. we We fail to understand that you can have one

  698. person, you can have different levels of relationship

  699. with one person, right? Meaning that you can,

  700. like some people here, I taught them, in the

  701. class I'm their teacher. When I come to church,

  702. they're pastor. When, like, outside of church

  703. or just without, I can be their elder brother,

  704. right? You can have all of those relations. And

  705. sometimes you can, you know, you can be so used

  706. to a person and you forget that that person...

  707. The way you have access to that person, not everybody

  708. has that kind of access. And you can do overlap,

  709. right? When you should be relating with that

  710. person in this space, because that's why you

  711. meet somebody in the class environment. And then

  712. I've had that thing happen several times because

  713. when I walk into a class and then the person

  714. sees me like a first year student, right? And

  715. then... because I just walked in and the person

  716. will assume I am at the same level as them until

  717. when they see me or I come and then I set my

  718. things up and then I'm starting to teach. And

  719. then I think a lady one time, she almost wanted

  720. to, I could tell she was very embarrassed. She

  721. was just doing like this, like she was seriously

  722. pleading. But it's like I said, it's totally

  723. fine. It's not, you assume that the relationship

  724. is to your fellow student. And it wasn't that

  725. she was even rude. She just asked me, are you

  726. here for the class? I said, yes, I'm here for

  727. the class. Until she found out. I said, yes,

  728. because I actually told her the truth. I'm here

  729. for the class, but as what? Praise God. So relationships

  730. are very, and especially in the church, where

  731. you can be so cozy with somebody and then all

  732. of a sudden, because you have to be able to tell

  733. what the dynamics of relationship, because they

  734. are different, right? The same way you are with

  735. your father. You can't come and say, hey, what's

  736. up? You know, you do that way. In Africa, at

  737. least most of us here, if that's not the way

  738. you roll with your dad, you will remember something

  739. that you will never forget. You will get something

  740. that you will never forget because they are different

  741. classes or different strata of relationships

  742. and you want to be able to understand that. And

  743. we said that bone of my bone and flesh of my

  744. flesh is used at different, we'll see that, that

  745. will show us in. We saw, I think the first bit

  746. is in 2 .23. We'll see 29 .14. Let's go to 29

  747. .14. And this is Laban to Jacob. 29 .14, Genesis

  748. 29 .14. And I want us to see that again. So,

  749. and Laban said to him, that's Jacob, you are

  750. my bone and my flesh. And he stayed with him

  751. for a month. Praise God. And if that... To you,

  752. it was marriage. You can just imagine a man telling

  753. another man, you are my bone and my flesh. But

  754. we understand that, what's the relationship between

  755. Laban and Jacob? So his uncle and nephew. So

  756. the relationship is that of family, right? It's

  757. that of family because that and that place will

  758. be communicating a relationship of like a blood,

  759. relationship by blood because it was his mom's

  760. brother, right? His mom's... So in that case,

  761. we see that this is clearly not just marriage.

  762. It's not just any way you see it. It's not blanket

  763. marriage. And we also see it in Judges. Judges

    Judges 9:2

  764. 9 verse 2. Let's look at Judges 9 verse 2. We'll

    Judges 9:2

  765. see Abimelech. Judges 9 verse 2 says, Please,

    Judges 9:2

  766. speak in the hearing of all the men of Shechem.

  767. This is Abimelech speaking now to all the men

  768. of Shechem. He says, which is better for you,

  769. that all 70 of the sons of Jeroboam reign over

  770. all, or that one reign over you? Remember that

  771. I am your own flesh and blood. So, him here is

  772. saying, remember that we are part of the same

  773. tribe, right? The same family, the same tribe,

  774. so it's not. saying that, oh, we are married

  775. together. Praise God. So he is just pleading,

  776. he's making an appeal to the leaders of Shechem.

  777. And we'll see it even in the case of David. We'll

  778. see 1 Chronicles 11 verse 1, and this is between

    1 Chronicles 11:1

  779. the tribes of Israel and David. So all of this

  780. is just to establish to us that when you see

  781. a word, so 1 Chronicles 11 verse 1, let's go

    1 Chronicles 11:1

  782. there quickly, and you can see it. Similar thing

  783. in 2 Samuel 5 verse 1. The exact same thing in

    2 Samuel 5:1

  784. 2 Samuel 5 verse 1. You can write that down in

    2 Samuel 5:1

  785. your note. We don't have to read that one. So

  786. in 1 Chronicles 11 verse 1 and then 2 Samuel

    1 Chronicles 11:1 2 Samuel 5:1

  787. 5 verse 1, it says, Then all Israel came together

  788. to David at Hebron, saying, Indeed, we are your

  789. bone and your flesh. Indeed, we are your bone

  790. and your flesh. And we say, what relationship

  791. would that be? What relationship would that be?

  792. You see? Family. So they're the same because

  793. they're the same tribe, right? They're the same.

  794. So we're all out of, you see, where you're born

  795. and you're flesh. So that's the tribes of Israel.

  796. And we say the different tribes of Israel. So

  797. we're related in that. So because you know that

  798. the children of Israel, that was Jacob, Israel,

  799. that are all the children. And David is one.

  800. He's from the tribe of Judah, right? So we say

  801. that that is. the relationship. So we see even

  802. another incident. You can write it down. David

  803. also appeals to the elders of his own tribe,

  804. right? The elders of his own tribe. In 2 Samuel

  805. 19, 12 to 13. 2 Samuel 19, 12 to 13, it says,

  806. it says, you are my brethren, right? You are

  807. my bone and my flesh. You are my brethren. You

  808. are my bone and my flesh. Why then are you the

  809. last to bring back the king? That is David 13.

  810. And say to Amasa, Are you not my bone and my

  811. flesh? God did so to me and more also if you

  812. are not commander of the army before me continually

  813. in the place of Joab. So he is... still stating

  814. the appeals to Judah and also to Amasa. And then

  815. he tells them that you are my bone and my flesh.

  816. And then we've seen all that in the, let's see

  817. it in Ephesians 5 verse 13. So this is Apostle

    Ephesians 5:13

  818. Paul using it in a relationship to, in the relationship

  819. to Christ and the church. So 30, 30, 3 -0. So

  820. he says that for we are members of his body.

  821. and his flesh and his bones. We are members of

  822. his body, his flesh, and his bones. So when we

  823. see the word flesh and bone, or when we see the

  824. word, because it's an idiomatic, when we say

  825. flesh and bone, because you know that that's

  826. not, it wouldn't make sense. Remember when we

  827. said to kick against God, not gold or gold, it's

  828. gold, toad, road. To kick against the gold. He

  829. is saying to, it's useless for you to fight against

  830. my will. So it means that it's an expression

  831. that means something, right? So when we say we

  832. are, when you say you are my bone and my flesh,

  833. it means that we are close families or we belong

  834. to, related in that sense, or we're from the

  835. same tribe. So it's a difficult, and in this

  836. passage, we know that it's communicating shared

  837. spiritual identity, that they say we are, it

  838. says we are members, right? It's a shared spiritual

  839. identity that is anchored in Christ, right? shared

  840. spiritual identity. And we know that it's not,

  841. it's not by blood. Like it's not by physical

  842. blood. It's supernatural. Praise God. It's supernatural

  843. relationship. And that is, that is, that requires

  844. a, like, you know, when, when you know this person

  845. is your brother, your blood brother, you know

  846. that there's a lot, but you need to know to be

  847. able to hold on to a relationship that is not

  848. like, you can't see the physical type. Right?

  849. Because you understand what Christ has done.

  850. You understand that this person is your brother

  851. and sister in Christ. You will defend and fight

  852. and pray for that person. You will be serious

  853. with regards to that relationship because you

  854. know what it costs or what brings you together.

  855. Praise God. That makes the gathering so important.

  856. When we come together, we come together as...

  857. brothers and sisters in Christ, to worship, to

  858. fellowship, and we're serving the same God. And

  859. he says, God places in others what we ourselves

  860. need. Meaning that it's very important to know

  861. that there's a reason why we have a family. There's

  862. a reason why we have different people, different,

  863. and this church is functional. We have different

  864. nationalities, and we're not self -sufficient

  865. by ourselves, but we are. dependent and reliant

  866. on, it's not a private work. Our work with God

  867. is not private. And in fact, there's no passage

  868. of scripture that will confirm the concept or

  869. the idea or confirm the whole idea or concept

  870. of working alone. Praise God. The work is in

  871. a gathering. The work is together. And by design,

  872. God did not, he places us in the family. And

  873. that's why you see that team of family going

  874. on and on. So we function and we live together.

  875. And we move on now, walk on the basis of our

  876. relationship with him, on the basis of our relationship

  877. with his people, God's people, every one of us.

  878. Praise God. So it is through people that we are

  879. blessed, right? It's through people that we are

  880. blessed. It's through men that we are able to

  881. hear the word. It's through men that we are able

  882. to be taught the word. It's through men. And

  883. if you say, oh, take for example, the example

  884. of Apostle Paul that went on Saul. If Brian and

  885. I decided that I don't want to be persecuted,

  886. and decided that he was not going to go and minister

  887. to Paul, or if Paul himself decided to help with

  888. anybody, I don't care. If God cannot come directly

  889. and minister to me, it will be to his own detriment,

  890. right? It will be to his own detriment. There's

  891. an importance that we have to place on the people

  892. that God has given to us. And no matter how small

  893. they are, right? He did not say Apostle Ananias.

  894. He says brother, right? No matter how small they

  895. are, right? We don't want to undermine God's

  896. ability to walk in and through that person. Same

  897. applies to ourselves. No matter how small we

  898. may think that we are, we don't want to undermine

  899. God's ability to walk in and through us. Because

  900. many times we can look at ourselves and fail

  901. to look at ourselves through the lenses of our

  902. identity in Christ. Our identity in Christ should

  903. be the way we see and carry ourselves. Right?

  904. Because God sees us that way. The way we see

  905. and carry ourselves is the way we see because

  906. God sees us that way and that should be what

  907. is at the forefront of our minds. And there's

  908. also the importance of being available. The importance

  909. of being available. Meetings. requires that we're

  910. there because there are several things because

  911. you are there to be a blessing to the other person

  912. the other person to be a blessing to you because

  913. if you're not available there is no like you

  914. will not be you will not have you will not have

  915. the opportunity praise God if you're not available

  916. you will not have the opportunity if you're not

  917. available you will not be able to make the most

  918. of the opportunity right and I think we're talking

  919. who are we talking with I was saying I said you

  920. see the most committed set of people or set of

  921. objects let me use objects in This place are

  922. the chairs because we leave them every time we

  923. go, right? The chairs are always here for the

  924. meeting because they can't be anywhere else but

  925. in the meeting. But note that the chairs don't

  926. necessarily participate in the activities that

  927. we do. You know, when we're laying hands on each

  928. other, the chairs don't lay hands. Why do we

  929. lay our bags on each other? The chairs are...

  930. So it means that... Availability goes beyond

  931. your being there. Praise God. Availability goes

  932. beyond your being present. Your availability

  933. should translate into actions, into participation.

  934. Praise God. Your availability to translate to

  935. the participation. And you don't even have any

  936. excuse. We don't have any excuse of not participating,

  937. of not being present in every meeting, or being

  938. present in every gathering, or being present

  939. to. minister to one another. We don't have any

  940. excuse. Because even Jesus Christ as a boy was

  941. available for meetings. But at a very young age,

  942. he was available for meetings. Let's see Luke

    Luke 2:46

  943. 2, verse 46. We see him in the temple. We see

  944. him in the temple being taught. Luke 2, verse

    Luke 2:46

  945. 46. So now, so it was that after three days,

  946. they found him in the temple, sitting in the

  947. midst of teachers, both listening to them, and

  948. asking them questions praise god so he was in

  949. a temple listening to teachers speak and also

  950. asking questions right so he himself prioritizes

  951. or was and look he says so it was that after

  952. three days praise god after three days it's good

  953. so so it tells you a lot about the It goes beyond

  954. just being available. It goes beyond that. This

  955. person was curious to learn. He was curious to

  956. learn. He was curious to take steps. And even

  957. when it was time for him to start ministry, right?

  958. Even when it was time for him to start ministry,

  959. he also still did not say, oh, he attended meetings.

  960. It was in probably, John the Baptist probably

  961. had thrown a conference, right? Probably had

  962. thrown a conference. because he was, and then

  963. he showed up in the conference and you, you can,

  964. and you know, you know the thing about relationship

  965. where I said, he could have said, it's a cause.

  966. It's a cause. You know, you know, it's funny.

  967. It's not that boy. It's not my cousin. It's not

  968. my cousin. You just, just talk down on the person

  969. while it's, and you can tell that John the Baptist

  970. did not have that. John the Baptist, even in

  971. John 3 .30, he was like, no, right? He saw him

  972. for who he is. John looked at him and said, behold,

  973. the Lamb of God takes over. He did not look at

  974. him as, behold, my cousin. Praise God. He saw

  975. him and he was, and I just tied that in there,

  976. but the point is this, that Jesus Christ was

  977. very much there. He didn't ignore John the Baptist.

  978. He didn't ignore him. who was there, who was

  979. available, and that should communicate something

  980. to us. That every meeting should be important

  981. to us because something happens in every meeting.

  982. And when you decide to, I said it on Sunday,

  983. because the meeting is important to you, you

  984. will show up even when you eat. You know, how

  985. you know that something is important to you is

  986. when there is no means to come, you will make

  987. a way. Because they say when there's a will,

  988. there's a way, right? You know that there's no

  989. bosses. You know that there's, oh, you see, because

  990. I don't want to meet, not because you are going

  991. to function in that meeting or because there's

  992. something that happens in that meeting that you

  993. don't want to miss out on. And that is the, that's

  994. how you know that there's growth. That's how

  995. you know that you're learning because you know

  996. that this meeting will not, you're not, you're

  997. not, you don't cop out. You don't say, oh, we

  998. can do something else and leave it at that. So

  999. we see that, and we see that even when it was

1000. time to select a replacement for Judas, it was

1001. someone that was not just available for the meeting,

1002. but was part and parcel of the different things

1003. that we're doing. We see that in Acts 1, Acts

  1004. 1, 15 to 26. Acts 1, 15 to 26. So it says, in

1005. those days, Peter stood up in the midst of the

1006. disciples. altogether the number of names that

1007. was a hundred and twenty, and said, Men and brethren,

1008. the scripture had to be fulfilled, which the

1009. Holy Spirit spoke before by the mouth of David

1010. concerning Judas, who became a guide to those

1011. who arrested Jesus. And for he was numbered with

1012. us and obtained a part of this. He says, Now

1013. this man purchased a field with the wages of

1014. iniquity, and falling headlong, he busted open

1015. in the middle, and all his entries gushed out.

1016. 19. He says, And he became known to all those

1017. dwelling in Jerusalem, so that a field is called

1018. in their own language, Akeldema, that is, a field

1019. of blood. For it was written in the book of Psalms,

1020. Let the dwelling place be desolate, and let no

1021. one live in it, and let another take his office.

1022. Therefore, of those men who have accompanied

1023. us all the time, that the Lord Jesus went in

1024. and out among us, beginning from the baptism

1025. of John to that day when he was taken up from

1026. us. One of those must become a witness with us

1027. of his resurrection. I want you to notice the

1028. fact that this is from the time of John, this

1029. time, and the person must be there, not with

1030. some time. A person shows up there and there's

1031. no boss, there's no income, and there's no food

1032. that morning, or there was no water, there's

1033. no income. It says they proposed to, like Stephen

1034. called. Basavas and the sign name Justus and

1035. then Matthias and we know that it goes on and

1036. on and then Matthias was the person that was

1037. selected. Notice that all these persons were

1038. not, they were committed to the meeting. They

1039. were consistent in the gatherings. They were

1040. there and then they said, okay, this too. They

1041. had two persons that was there and then they

1042. picked one of the two persons. So it means that

1043. you, for any form of growth increase, for you

1044. to be patterned, you have to be committed, not

1045. just And it's not just you are close, you see,

1046. you are close to the person and then that closeness

1047. will translate to you being picked. That's not

1048. how it works, right? Because, you know, sometimes

  1049. it's like, that's a corrupt practice, right?

1050. Where on the basis of closeness, you are now

1051. being selected. Most of the time, it's the person

1052. that is selected on that premise will not even

1053. get the job done. Praise God. The person will

1054. not be able to get the job done because it takes

1055. more than that. It takes more than. And we say

1056. that availability is essential and very important.

1057. Being available, and when I say being available,

  1058. it's 360. It's not just you being physical. I've

1059. said this a couple of times. You can be physically

1060. present, but your mind is somewhere else. I said

1061. like the chair. It is present in every, like

1062. we will leave the chairs, go out, we'll come

1063. back, we'll see the chair. The chairs are the

1064. first thing we see when we come in, and they're

1065. the last thing we see when we're leaving. But

1066. it doesn't mean that they're committed to the

1067. work. Praise God. And the first thing we say,

1068. the last thing we say, so you want to challenge

1069. yourself to not be a chair. Always there, but

1070. you do nothing. Oh, you just function as where

1071. people sit on. Praise God. So God does not call

1072. and equip people in isolation. Praise God. He

1073. doesn't call and equip people in isolation. There's

1074. always a network of our family. He has placed

1075. us. In fact, when we come, we come into a family,

1076. right? We come into a family from different nationalities,

1077. but we are one in Christ. Praise God. And he

1078. does that through our gathering consistently.

1079. Our gathering consistently. And it's in our gatherings

1080. that we are a tool of blessing to people. I remember

1081. what I told us on Sunday as we closed. Remember

1082. what I told us on Sunday? That these friends

1083. that wanted to get their friend healed, know

1084. that that friend was... For you to, you know,

1085. when you are able to go out of your way and say,

1086. see, this is our friend. We don't like his situation.

1087. We want to see our friend get well. And then

1088. go out of your way to the point that you had

1089. several, you know, you can come and then you

1090. see a crowd and you say, let's just go back.

1091. Maybe we'll try some other day. But because you

1092. want to see your friend, you will push everything

1093. and anything on the path to get that person healed.

1094. And I think I heard the testimony of someone

1095. that wanted to get healed of a particular condition.

1096. And they showed up in a meeting and they were

1097. like, how will we have this? But they just stayed

1098. there. And Holy Spirit just ministered to them

1099. to just stay at the point. And they are staying

1100. there because they insisted that something was

1101. going to happen. All of a sudden, someone just

1102. opened the door from the side and told them they

1103. should come in. And that was how they were able

1104. to. Because they knew that just waiting around,

1105. by the Spirit of God, they knew that waiting

1106. around there will... Somehow, they didn't know

1107. how it was going to happen. These friends, they

1108. pulled out the roof and ensured that he landed

1109. where he would meet with Cillian. And you want

1110. to be that faithful friend to someone. And you

1111. yourself want to be that person that is postured

1112. to know. You want to be that faithful friend

1113. to someone. And you want to be that faithful

1114. friend to your family member, to that friend.

1115. Because that's basically what we're called. Because

1116. we know what the solution is, right? And we're

1117. able to communicate that effectively to anyone,

1118. right? Because we say, when an opportunity presents

1119. itself, it should demand that we go all in because

1120. we know that the result is there, right? We know

1121. we have been taught, right? And we know that

1122. the gospel is this, this, this, and this. We

1123. should be able to open our mouth and say, this

1124. is the gospel. Opportunity presents itself. This

1125. is what it is. Praise God. We should never be

1126. scared to proclaim that which we have received.

1127. We should not be scared to proclaim that we have

1128. received because it is going to mean that someone

1129. will miss out on. something that God has an abundance

1130. of. Praise God. God has an abundance. God does

1131. not delight in holding back healing that is going

1132. to turn the situation of a family member, a friend,

1133. right? But he requires that we are able to stand

1134. our ground and say, okay, this thing has to change

1135. and this is he who can change it. Praise God.

1136. So I want us to open our mouths and just give

1137. God thanks because we are not people that will

1138. relent. We're not people that will hold back.

1139. We are like those faithful friends. We appreciate

1140. you being here today. We hope you carry this

1141. word with you throughout your week. Don't forget
