Welcome to NECF sermons. Each message here is
-
designed to uplift and strengthen you in your
-
walk with God. Don't miss out. Stay with us until
-
the end for a rewarding experience. Let's dive
-
right in. You know, I've learned that and I think
-
I will continue to do that much more, right?
-
You know, what it does is that The same way you
-
see the power of the Holy Ghost causing things
-
happen for other people is same way it's happening
-
for you too. Amen. Hallelujah. You know on Sunday
-
from the message from all that happened one of
-
the words that I know this this is my talk till
-
the end of 2027 and always we enjoy avalanche
-
of what? Testimonies. Things happening to us.
-
Do you have this version that I shared it from
-
a team of me, from us or somebody, message translation?
-
Amos chapter 9 verse 5, right? 13 to 15, 9 verse
-
13, do you have message translation? Check, if
-
there is no, somebody should read for us. Somebody
-
should help us read it. Good, thank you. Everybody,
-
can we just read it together? One, two, go! Yes,
-
indeed! It won't be long now. God's what? God's
-
decree. Everybody, let's go. Things are going
-
to what? Things are what? Please, let's just
-
change that place. I'll go and say things are
-
happening so fast. Are we all, do we understand
-
what I just said? One, two, go. Things are happening
-
so fast. My head is swimming. one thing fast
-
on the heels of what? Of the other. I am not
-
able to keep up. Everything is happening at once.
-
And everywhere I look, blessings, blessings like
-
wine pouring off the mountains and hills. I'll
-
make everything right again for Things are happening
-
what? So fast. They are happening so fast. They
-
are happening so fast. You know one of the words
-
I received yesterday evening before I slept.
-
He said, faith for the believer is consistency
-
in confession of God's Word. Do you what I just
-
said? Faith for the believer is what? Consistency
-
in what? Confession of whose word? God's word.
-
So I will keep saying it. I will keep saying
-
it. I will keep saying it until I start seeing
-
it. Is this a how long do I need to start seeing
-
it? No. Even if it will take me all the rest
-
of my days on earth, I will keep saying it until
-
I what? I see it. Things are happening what?
-
So fast. Miracles are happening what? so fast.
-
Wonders are happening so fast. Signs are happening
-
so. Healings are happening so. Souls are one
-
in billion so fast. My head cannot catch up with
-
it. That's greater works. Happening so fast that
-
my mind cannot comprehend it. Glory to Jesus.
-
Glory to Jesus the name of Jesus the believers
-
authority in the name of who in the name of Jesus
-
And if you check your notes briefly now just
-
run over a revision a fast revision right if
-
you check your notes We had a definition of what
-
name is Amen, and we say name means what or Noma,
-
right? Literally, it means an identity to differentiate
-
people right? Custin, Pastor Frederick, Pastor
-
Takunda, to differentiate people. Amen? But figuratively,
-
we say it means a person's what? Authority, reputation,
-
office, ability, position, character, function,
-
accomplishment. Amen? Yes. So if you check your
-
notes, you already have that. And then we now
-
read from luke 24 47 and jesus communication
-
to the disciple says and that repentance and
-
remission of sins should be preached in my name
-
amen should be preached in my name among how
-
many nations all nations right luke 24 47 Right?
-
That repentance and remission of sins will be
-
what? Will be preached among how many nations?
-
He said, in my name, to how many nations? All
-
nations. So, and then we now said, if we are
-
saying the definition of onoma means that literally
-
a person is to identify people. We said that
-
there were people that had the name Jesus in
-
the scriptures. Amen? So will Jesus be telling
-
the disciples that go and preach in Jesus name?
-
Because when they get to somewhere and they say
-
Jesus they say which of the Jesus is he the son
-
of Joseph or the son of Justus? Or are you talking
-
about the priest Joshua? Amen Hallelujah, so
-
Jesus will have not been speaking to them to
-
preach in his literal biological name Amen Yes,
-
so he will not be speaking at Lee today, but
-
rather he will be speaking what heavenly and
-
spiritual So when he says preach in my name one
-
of the things that we learned also that Jesus
-
was speaking to them upon his words resurrection
-
Amen. Yes, so he was bringing a reality to them
-
about his words resurrection or from his resurrection
-
because prior to now he never told them to go
-
to all nations and preach in his name glory to
-
Jesus so but now after being raised from the
-
dead in Matthew where we read in Matthew 28 he
-
said all authority in where in heaven and where
-
on earth has been what given to me and he said
-
go here into what all the world and make disciples
-
And then we learned that that communication that
-
he was giving to them he was speaking about his
-
name upon my authority I Give you that authority
-
now to go to all the world and make what? disciples
-
So we learned all this so when you check your
-
note, you will see that glory to Jesus Then we
-
now look at Luke's account where he mentioned
-
about his name Mark's account Matthew's account
-
John's account and we look at the book of Acts
-
Where we had communications about what his name
-
in the name of Jesus faith in his name, right
-
that has made him whole In his name, we also
-
saw how they casted out devils They heal diseases
-
glory to Jesus. He said what silver and gold
-
we do not have But that which we have, we do
-
what? We give to thee. In the name of Jesus,
-
rise up and what? And walk. So question will
-
be, will they be saying in the biological name
-
of Jesus he should rise and walk? No. So they
-
had an understanding that we need to have today
-
as believers. So if the Apostles had that understanding
-
and operated in the supernatural as such we also
-
ought to have that understanding when now as
-
believers The way they casted out devils We will
-
also cast out what? Devils The way they heal
-
diseases, we will also what? Heal diseases The
-
way they preach the gospel and one message in
-
Acts chapter 2 and then we see 3 ,000 souls were
Acts 2 chapter mention
-
warned that we will have an overflow of that
-
Glory to Jesus. Glory to Jesus. Good now. So
-
now from there now We said that that was an introduction
-
for us. Amen So now let's move on now to Please
-
don't lose the title the believers authority
-
in who? in the name of Jesus. So connecting to
-
that today, we are looking at now the name of
-
Jesus. The name of Jesus. The name of Jesus.
-
So please don't lose the thoughts. What Jesus
-
told his disciples that they will do was after
-
his what? Resurrection. Amen. They should go
-
and preach the gospel. What? in his name mark
Mark 16 chapter mention
-
16 15 and he said to them go into how many worlds
-
all the world and preach the gospel to how many
-
creature every creature yes he who believes and
-
is baptized will be what but he who does not
-
believe will be what condemn next verse and these
-
signs will follow those who what who believe
-
everybody let's really together now everybody
-
want to go in my name they will cast out they
-
will speak with new tongues and we learn that
-
in my name they will cast out demons in my name
-
they will speak with what all these actions will
-
be seen through who Those who believe the believer
-
amen. Okay now good. So today the name of Jesus
-
Matthew 1 21 Matthew 1 21 everybody go to your
-
Bible Everybody can you say I enjoy Everybody
-
let me hear you. I enjoy supernatural testimonies
-
in the name of Jesus signs wonders I can't hear
-
our signs wonders and miracles are happening
-
regularly in my life and through my hands glory
-
to Jesus Matthew 1 21 or let's start reading
-
from verse 20 but while he taught on this be
-
on these things behold the angel of the Lord
-
appeared unto him in a dream saying Joseph thou
-
son of David fear not to take unto thee Mary
-
thy what thy wife for that which is conceived
-
in her is of what is of the Holy Ghost 21 now
-
and she shall bring forth a son and thou shalt
-
call his name what thou shalt call his name Jesus
-
for he shall save his people from their what?
-
From their sins. Hallelujah. So if you are writing
-
now, let's start the class now. Let's start the
-
class. So the name Jesus thou shall call his
-
name Jesus. So the name Jesus is translated from
-
the Greek word I E S O U S The name Jesus The
-
name Jesus is translated from the Greek word
-
Isos I E S O U S Please if you are not clear
-
bring my attention just say just just do like
-
this sir Repeat again amen Glory to Jesus. Yes.
-
I think that's one of the things that I believe
-
I wish will start Please, if you are not clear,
-
say, sir, I do not understand the explanation
-
again. Amen? The name Jesus was written from
-
Greek word what? I say, which means God's salvation.
-
God's what? Salvation. Remember the angels say,
-
and thou shall call his name what? Jesus, for
-
he shall do what? Save his people from their
-
what? From their sins. So the name Jesus is from
-
the Greek word what? Isos which means what? God's
-
salvation or Yahweh's salvation God's salvation
-
in Hebrew now in Jewish language Yahweh's what?
-
Yahweh's salvation Yahweh's salvation And that
-
name is the same with Joshua. Do you have anybody
-
with Joshua here? Nobody? Ah, it's true, you
-
know. Yes. You know who we've been calling? Caller
-
day, caller day, caller day, caller day, caller
-
day, caller day, caller day. You see? So that's
-
Jesus there. That's another Jesus there. That's
-
another small Jesus somewhere there. He's busy.
-
Amen. The name Jesus is the same with what? Joshua.
-
So after the service we can call bro Jesus there.
-
It means God's what? Salvation. Joshua same Hebrew
-
word for Jesus is what we have as what? Joshua
-
in the Old Testament. Hallelujah. But in the
-
Old Testament the word Joshua is Yehoshua. Yehoshua,
-
Y -E -H -O -S -H -U -A. Yehoshua. Oh, Jehoshua.
-
Yehoshua, oh what? Jehoshua, which means Jehovah.
-
Are we all here? Which means what? Jehovah. And
-
the word Jehovah from the Old Testament means
-
the self existing one or the eternal one. The
-
self what? Existing one or the eternal one. That's
-
Jehovah now. So when we said Yehoshua we means
-
Yahweh's salvation. And we say the meaning of
-
Jehoshua or Jehoshua Right? Or Yehovah, that's
-
Jehovah, is what? The self -existing one or the
-
eternal one. So when we connect it together we
-
are saying the eternal one's salvation. The self
-
-existing one's salvation. Are we all here? Is
-
it clear so far? Are we all here together? Good,
-
perfect. So like I said, Jehovah is in Jewish
-
or it's just a Hebrew national name right yes
-
for the name of God and we said that the name
-
Jesus is a name born by everybody speaks about
-
the humanity of Jesus amen so everybody carries
-
the name what Jesus right so prior to the humanity
-
of Jesus people had the name what Jesus Joshua
-
Joshua, Joshua, Joshua, Joshua. Amen. Good. So,
-
it wasn't, that name Jesus wasn't unique to Jesus.
-
Are we all here? It wasn't unique only to what?
-
Don't forget, we say onoma means what? Literally
-
means what? A name given to people to differentiate
-
them by identity. Figuratively means what? A
-
person's office, function. authority, right?
-
Accomplishment, amen? So the name Jesus will
-
not be speaking about his what? The literal biological
-
name because we have a lot of them. So if we
-
have to use the name literally, we have to say
-
Jesus the son of Joseph. Do you understand? that
-
way now we will identify that Jesus the one you're
-
speaking about is the son of Joseph in fact we
-
have to add the carpenter amen because there
-
will be many people with the name what Joseph
-
of Nazareth again amen yes so why are we having
-
those identity is to identify biologically where
-
Jesus is coming from and we're going to connect
-
to it as we keep moving because those were the
-
identity that the prophets gave about the lineage
-
that Jesus is going to come from amen good so
-
now having said that now let's look at exodus
-
17 verse 9 so far so good is it clear good now
-
exodus now exodus 17 verse 9 So we said prior
-
to the humanity of Jesus prior to the coming
-
of Jesus we had people that bore the name Jesus
-
and we said in the Old Testament the name Jesus
-
Greek is the same with the Hebrew word what Joshua
-
So in the Old Testament when you call somebody
-
Joshua When we now translate it to Hebrew to
-
Greek we are saying what Jesus so now an example
-
is in exodus 17 verse 9 and moses said to who
-
to joshua choose us out men and go out fight
-
with amalek tomorrow i will stand on the top
-
of the hill with the rod of god in what in my
-
hand verse 14 go to 14 we see joshua so joshua
-
did as moses had said to him and fought with
-
amalek And the Lord said unto Moses, write this
-
for a memorial in a book and rehearse it in the
-
ears of who? Joshua, for I will utterly put out
-
the remembrance of Amalek from under what? From
-
under heaven. Hallelujah. Yes, so in the Old
-
Testament, you can just write these Numbers 11
-
28 Numbers 11 28 Numbers 11 28 Numbers 14 verse
-
6 Numbers 14 verse 6 Numbers 26 verse 65 Numbers
-
26 verse 65 and in the Old Testament the name
-
Joshua or Jesus in the Old Testament is about
-
197 times right so now Colossians chapter 4 verse
-
11 everybody Let's see people that bore the name
-
Jesus in the New Testament also. Colossians chapter
-
4 verse 11. Colossians chapter 4 verse 11. Please
-
in the Old Testament references adds Zechariah
Zechariah 3 chapter mention
-
chapter 3. We have Joshua the priest. In the
-
Old Testament references adds Zechariah what?
-
3. You will see Joshua the what? the priest this
-
Joshua is not the same with the Joshua we are
-
speaking about here amen good so Colossians 4
-
11 everybody Colossians 4 11 and Jesus who is
-
called who justus who are of the circumcision
-
these only are my what fellow workers unto the
-
kingdom of god who have been a what a comfort
-
unto me so jesus who is called what justus he
-
is paul's fellow what fellow worker that's another
-
person with the name what jesus hallelujah good
-
so let's go back to matthew 121 now matthew 121
-
now So we have looked at what the name Jesus
-
is, the meaning, right? So we have Jesus in the
-
Old Testament, and we have Jesus in what? In
-
the New Testament. And we say before the humanity
-
of Jesus, we had people that had that name. Amen?
-
Good, sir. Now, Matthew 1 .21. And the angel
-
said, thou shalt call his name what? Jesus, for
-
he shall save his people from what? from their
-
sins. This Jesus will have an assignment and
-
what is his assignment? He shall save his people
-
from their what? From their sins. Jesus who is
-
called Justus did not save his people from their
-
sins. He was a fellow worker of who? Of Paul.
-
Amen. Joshua in the Old Testament did not save
-
his people from their sins. He was a servant
-
of who? Of Moses. Joshua in Zechariah chapter
Zechariah 3 chapter mention
-
3 did not save his people from their sins. He
-
was a priest. Is that clear? Is that clear? So
-
we now see that this Jesus had specifications.
-
what he was to do so the angel will have said
-
his name is what Jesus and then nothing else
-
question will be the angel will have an incomplete
-
information because when the prophets spoke about
-
Jesus they also spoke about what he was going
-
to do amen So the coming of the angel and announcing
-
this coming of Jesus and he will save his people
-
from their sins Please write this is a fulfillment
-
of the prophecies of the prophets Do you know
-
what I just said now, let me repeat myself The
-
announcement of the angel about this Jesus that
-
he shall save his people from their sins is the
-
fulfillment of what? Of prophecies spoken by
-
prophets from the Old Testament Do we understand?
-
Is that clear? Is that clear everybody? Why?
-
Because the angels spoke about what Jesus was
-
going to accomplish. And what is he going to
-
accomplish? There's a task. So which means when
-
we see this Jesus comes in humanity, his assignment
-
will be what? Will be one. And that he will save
-
his people from their what? From their sins.
-
Glory to Jesus. Glory to Jesus. Yes. So we're
-
gonna stop here. And then on Wednesday when we
-
come, we will build on this place. Glory to Jesus.
-
We appreciate you being here today. We hope you
-
carried this word with you throughout your week.
