-
walk with God. Don't miss out, stay with us until
-
the end for a rewarding experience. Let's dive
-
right in. Exodus chapter 6 verse 3 everybody,
-
let's go. Exodus chapter 6 verse what? Verse
Exodus 6 chapter mention
-
3. Exodus chapter 6 verse 3. If you have been
-
with us in this past week, we've been talking
-
about the name of who? The name of Jesus. Amen?
-
We have been discussing about the name of what?
-
Jesus. Why are we doing this? We are doing this,
-
I believe, with the whole of my heart, right?
-
What we are doing in this season, or the theme
-
of this season, right? This understanding will
-
play a greater role also in that. Amen. Our theme
-
for the year is what? What is our theme for the
-
year? Greater works. Amen. So I believe this
-
teaching also is part of what will be so significant
-
to us in this season. Hallelujah. That we don't
-
go around mentioning the name of Jesus as it
-
were every other person will mention it. Amen.
-
In Hausa, in northern Nigeria, in Hausa, they
-
say yes to Almasihu. You know? But when you now
-
go to the other side, they say it's Isa. Whether
-
you say Isa Almasihu, or you say yes to Almasihu,
-
right? Whether you say it in English, or in whatever
-
language, is not the main short name of the name
-
of Jesus. What cast out demons is not the what?
-
dimensioning in the name of Jesus that Paul preaches,
-
that Pastor Frederick preaches. You demon get
-
out! No! It's not the mentioning of the name
-
of Jesus that brings the evidence that we see.
-
Hallelujah! But Radha, let me start. This is
-
a good way to start out this morning. It's not
-
the mentioning of the name of Jesus that brings
-
the evidence and the results that a believer
-
sees, but rather is the knowledge and understanding
-
of the name of Jesus. I just say something good
-
now. It's not the what? It's not the mentioning
-
of the name of Jesus that brings the evidence
-
and the results a believer sees, but rather the
-
knowledge and the understanding of the name of
-
Jesus to the believer. So which means that when
-
a believer has the knowledge and the understanding
-
of the name of Jesus Christ, what is happening
-
to him is that he is no longer working in information,
-
but he is working in the reality. Hallelujah.
-
Glory to Jesus. So that person is not working
-
in the what? The information. I don't know whether
-
it happens to people in other parts of Africa
-
or part of the world but in where I'm coming
-
from some people experience that more especially
-
when we're in high school secondary school and
-
all those things you know you're sleeping and
-
something will press you you know we used to
-
believe that something presses our neck right
-
I don't know whether it has happened to some
-
people here but something will press your neck
-
and then from your dream world or your dream
-
realm you are starting the gene is not coming
-
out and then suddenly when you now finally get
-
a hold of it and the gene is out you just wake
-
up and then finally you know I know a friend
-
when the friend sleeps and wakes up right the
-
friend wakes up with literal marks on the body
-
because in the dream The person was fighting
-
with giants. And when the person wakes up in
-
the natural realm, I mean real, because the person
-
will have those experiences and send photos to
-
me. You will see real marks on the body. And
-
the person now is afraid to sleep once it is
-
8 p .m. I'm saying something real now. So the
-
person will stay awake 8, 9, 10, 11, 12. Why?
-
Because the person does not want to dream. 1,
-
2, 3. When it's getting to 3 a .m., 4 a .m.,
-
you know that morning, from that time to morning,
-
when the sun will rise, definitely your dream
-
will be light. That's when the person gets to
-
sleep. We now have to do a study. Amen. Mind
-
you, this person I'm talking about is a believer.
-
So the person knows the name of Jesus, but the
-
person is afraid of whatever he or she is encountering
-
in the dream realm, right? More than the name
-
of Jesus, the information he or she has. So you
-
see, what overcomes is not the information, is
-
the reality. And the reality comes by knowledge,
-
not anyhow knowledge, accurate. knowledge, glory
-
to Jesus. Pastor Fred is here. We had a guy,
-
you know, the guy had returning back to Nigeria
-
before he left was sound. The guy will stay in
-
his house and he says he will hear voices down
-
the streets. So Pastor Fred called him, you know,
-
he said, come and lie down in my house, stay
-
in my house and let's see whether you will hear
-
voices. Before God, whom I stand, he came and
-
stayed in his house and he didn't hear voices.
-
It's from your house that I took him back home.
-
He went home sound. What I'm saying is that the
-
person has authored books now and he is doing
-
sound. He's married with children, yes. Hallelujah.
-
So what we are discussing in this season is,
-
let me use one word now that came to me, is PIVOTA.
-
My wife will say, where is this one coming from?
-
My English is increasing, you know, the bush
-
boy from Adama, you know. Yes, it's pivotal to
-
the things that are happening to us in this season.
-
Hallelujah. Glory to Jesus. Good, so we're in
-
Exodus, right? Did we get an instruction from
-
this, what I just said now? Did anybody get an
-
instruction? Did anybody get an instruction now?
-
So if you're here and you're afraid to sleep,
-
don't be afraid to sleep. By the virtue of being
-
part of this local church, right, I speak to
-
you, I declare upon you, I command you, in the
-
name of Jesus, every struggle with sleep dies
-
now in Jesus' name. All you live here, you sleep
-
sound, every kind of weird dreams, every kind
-
of scary dreams, we subject you to the power
-
in the name of Jesus. Father we thank you, for
-
you've given your beloved sleep, and we sleep,
-
we rest, and there is no any confusion in our
-
restroom in the name of Jesus. We bless you Lord,
-
be thou glorified in Jesus name. Amen. Holy Spirit,
-
thank you for the spirit of wisdom and revelation
-
is made manifest in this atmosphere and in our
-
hearts as we listen to the word for in Jesus'
-
name we pray. Amen. So Exodus chapter 6 verse
-
3. And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac and
-
Jacob by the name of God Almighty, but my name,
-
Yehoah, was I not what? Known to them. Genesis
-
chapter 12 verse 1. Genesis chapter 12 verse
-
1. We said, but by name Jehovah was I not what?
-
Known to them. And what did we learn about Jehovah?
-
Jehovah means God's salvation, right? And at
-
the end of the day from Jehovah, Jesus, Isos
-
is the same with Joshua. Amen. And then we now
-
came and said, That Joshua, right, is the name
-
in Old Testament. Hallelujah. And from the Old
-
Testament, we now realize that prophets have
-
spoken about Jesus Christ, his humanity, his
-
coming. Amen. So we now move to Old Testament
-
and then look at where did the prophets spoke
-
about what? Jesus. And now we now connected that
-
Jesus now to Messiah. Messiah means Messiah.
-
Amen? Because Messiah and Messiah, or Messiah,
-
is the same with Christos. Christ means what?
-
Christos. And we say Christos means the what?
-
The anointed one. Amen? The chosen one. And we
-
say in the Old Testament, you won't see anything
-
called Christos. You won't see anything called
-
Christ. But what you see is Messiah. Messiah
-
means Messiah. Amen? And then we now look at
-
Isaiah. In Isaiah, we now see one of the prophecies
-
that were given about the Messiah is about there
-
will be a sign and a virgin will give birth to
-
a child and his name shall be called what? Emmanuel.
-
Even though as of that time, Prophet Isaiah was
-
giving the prophecy to Ahas, it happened in their
-
time, right? But now as Matthew, Luke, Mark,
-
John will document the event of Christ, they
-
will document that event from what? The prophecy,
-
the communications of the prophets. So Isaiah
-
will be prophesying, or I will call her, will
-
be prophesying to a woman of God regarding events
-
that are in the future. Amen? However, some certain
-
things will happen to her now from that prophecy,
-
but yet the prophecy is indicating something
-
that is coming what? Ahead. So when Pastor Tike
-
comes to document an event that is happening
-
with Pastor Ema. He will document that event
-
because that event is similar to what has happened
-
to the prophecy that I gave in a different timeline.
-
But the pattern of this communication is the
-
same pattern with what is happening with Pastor
-
Ema. So Pastor Takunda will write that communication.
-
and quote that same prophecy that I gave to her,
-
right? In Pastor Emanuel's words, event two.
-
Hallelujah. So what did we learn? We learned
-
that Emanuel means what? God with what? With
-
us. And then we now read also in now Luke that
-
we see that his name shall also be called what?
-
Emanuel, Jesus. So when we say God's salvation,
-
what we are saying is that Emanuel, God with
-
us. God Becoming man to save men Hallelujah,
-
so that is what we have been doing all this while.
-
Hallelujah. Good So we now also said that Jesus
-
is holding that conversation Right from the point
-
of resurrection Hallelujah. He said that in my
-
name after being raised from the dead. He said
-
in my Name in my name and we learned that Name
-
or Norma figuratively means a person's what?
-
Office, authority, function. Right? Right! So
-
what Jesus will say, from my resurrection, from
-
my authority, now go and preach to how many nations?
-
All nations. So if you are writing like this,
-
in resurrection, in resurrection, Every nation
-
ought to be one for Jesus. In resurrection, every
-
nation, right, is to be one for Jesus. In resurrection.
-
In resurrection, every nation is to be one for
-
who? For Jesus. Hallelujah. So far so good. Do
-
we understand where we have been coming from?
-
So now and we now talked about Jesus now in Luke
-
24 talking about resurrection, right? The remissions
-
of his repentance will be preached in my name
-
and we looked at everywhere in my name in my
-
name in my name, right? So if it's your Bible
-
every time now as you're learning now in this
-
local church Every time you're hearing in the
-
name of Jesus We are not talking about his biological
-
nomenclature You know We are talking about what
-
we are talking about his office Don't mind me.
-
Oh, you understand don't know where they're coming
-
from, right? So we're talking about his what
-
his office Let me say something now by the spirit
-
to somebody So which means that every time you
-
stand before a circumstance and before a situation,
-
before a sickness, before a mountain, before
-
a challenge, don't come in the biological name
-
of Jesus, come against that thing in the office
-
of Jesus. Do you know what I just said now? So
-
now let me let me take us a little bit further.
-
So which means that every time this is a mountain,
-
I am standing before it. Every time I want to
-
mention or name the name of Jesus against this
-
mountain, I will not. Now I'm having understanding.
-
Hallelujah. So I'm not coming against this mountain
-
just by the information I have. I'm coming against
-
this mountain by the reality of the office, of
-
the authority, of the name of who? Jesus. Listen
-
again. So which means? that every time I mention
-
the name of Jesus, this mountain is not responding
-
to me. This mountain is responding to Jesus.
-
And what this mountain is responding to is not
-
the humanity of Jesus. This mountain is responding
-
to the power of resurrection that raises Jesus
-
from the dead. Do you see why Peter, by the gates,
-
We'll say silver and gold, we do not what? We
-
do not have. But we know we have seen, we have
-
handled it, we have tested it, we have been with
-
this Jesus and he has authorised us. He said
-
we can give healing. We don't have silver, we
-
don't have gold, but we know one of the provisions
-
in resurrection is what? Is healing. Such as
-
we have. We give unto thee in the name of what?
-
Every time No, I will not use, I will not use
-
Pastor Emma. No, I will not use Pastor. Come,
-
God's voice, come. You know how, no? I will not
-
use Pastor. Come. Two of you, come. Sit down.
-
Good. Come, come and stand with me. Good. He
-
is bigger than me, so that works. So Jesus is
-
bigger, not inside you. Amen? Because He is inside
-
you, amen? Smile now, God's voice, you are not
-
smiling. Amen? You are not lame from birth. So
-
when Peter came and met them and said, in the
-
name of silver and gold, we do not have. Such
-
that I have, I do what? I give unto thee. I just
-
got something in my head. Every time we walk
-
in the reality of the name of Jesus, it gives
-
God's pleasure. Do you hear what I just said?
-
It gives God's what? Pleasure. Because we know
-
that we are selves. And we are taking our rightful
-
place in the Father. So, as we say, silver and
-
gold, we do not have, such that we have, we do
-
what? We give unto thee. In the name of Jesus,
-
rise up and walk. In Peter's reality, he knows
-
he is not the one raising this guy. Who is raising
-
the guy? So please, in the name of Jesus, rise
-
up and walk. Your holy mantra again. Sit down.
-
In the name of Jesus, rise up and walk! Peter
-
didn't raise that guy. Who raised him? Jesus
-
raised him. Sit down. Thank you, sirs. So every
-
time we walk in the reality of the name of Jesus,
-
you see, that is why it should not be difficult.
-
When you're encountering challenges, you should
-
not be afraid. You are not the one overcoming
-
the challenges. Jesus is the one at work. That
-
is why that last part of Mark said, and God was
-
working with them, confirming the words, with
-
signs, what? Following. Glory to Jesus. Glory
-
to Jesus. I just personally, if we end this here
-
now, we have learned something, because this
-
is what we are going to. Hallelujah. So now Genesis
Genesis 12 chapter mention
-
chapter 12 Genesis chapter 12 verse 1 Now the
-
Lord has said to Abraham Right, I will just stop
-
at three said to Abraham get thee out of thy
-
country and of thy kindred and from thy father's
-
house unto a land that I will what? Show thee
-
and I will make of thee a great nation and I
-
will bless thee and make thy name what? great
-
And thou shalt be a what? A blessing, three.
-
And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse
-
thee, curse him that cursed thee, and in thee
-
shall all the families of the earth be blessed.
-
So if it's your Bible, please underline the words,
-
all the families of the earth, number one. Number
-
two, I will make of thee a great nation. I will
-
make of thee a great what? Nation, all the families
-
of the earth. Then Genesis chapter 15 verse one
Genesis 15 chapter mention
-
to six. Genesis 15 1 6 after this is the word
-
of the Lord come unto Abraham in a vision saying
-
fear not Abraham I Abraham now I am thy shield
-
and the exceeding great reward and Abraham said
-
Lord God what will thou give me seen I grow up
-
chandless and the steward of thy house of my
-
house is this Eliezer of the maskals and Abraham
-
said behold to me thou has given me no seat and
-
lo no one burn in my house is mine hair and behold
-
see again now from 12 to 13 now to 15 and behold
-
the word of the lord came unto him saying these
-
shall not be thine what hair but he shall come
-
from what out of thy own balls shall be thine
-
what hair this biological noun god is speaking
-
to him five and he brought him forth abroad and
-
said look now toward heaven and tell the staffs
-
If thou be able to number them, and he said unto
-
him, so shall thy seed what? Be. You know, previously
-
he told him that, you know, I shall multiply
-
thy what? Seeds. Nations will come out of you,
-
amen? And now God is telling him that your seed
-
shall be like the stars of where? Good. Now,
-
six. And he believes in the Lord, and he counted
-
him, and he counted it to him for what? So who
-
counted who? unto righteousness God counted unto
-
Abraham as what as righteousness hallelujah good
-
now Romans chapter four verse nine Romans chapter
-
four verse three let's look at different places
-
now where that was saying it was counted onto
-
him Romans chapter four verse three for what
-
said the scripture Abraham believed God and it
-
was counted onto him for what For righteousness
-
same place right good now verse 9 now verse 9
-
Romans 4 9 Comment this blessedness then upon
-
the circumcision only or upon the uncircumcision
-
only for we say that by faith was recon to Abraham
-
forwards for righteousness Amen good now verse
-
22 verse 22 And therefore it was imputed to him
-
for what? For righteousness. Galatians 3 .6.
-
Galatians 3 .6. Are we seen everywhere? Righteousness,
-
righteousness, right? Good. So Galatians 3 .6.
-
Even Abraham believed God and it was accounted
-
to him as what? For righteousness. He believed
-
God. Amen. So which means the message God gave
-
him that nations will come out of him. He believed
-
God and it was accounted in for what? For righteousness.
-
James 2 23. James 2 23. James 2 23. And the scriptural
-
of Sophia which said Abraham believed God and
-
it was impeded onto him for righteousness and
-
he was called the what? The friend of God. Hallelujah.
-
So God communicated to Abraham. Abraham believed
-
the communication and God accounted it onto him
-
as righteousness. Abraham did nothing. What Abraham
-
did was that he believed the communication of
-
God to him. Glory to Jesus! Glory to Jesus! Then
-
let's go back to Genesis chapter 17 again. So
Genesis 17 chapter mention
-
we have seen now, right, evidence that Abraham
-
believed God and it was accounted to him as righteousness.
-
Genesis 17, 4 to 6. As for me, behold, my covenant
-
is with thee, and thou shalt be father of many
-
nations. Verse 5. Neither shall thy name anymore
-
be called Abraham, but thy name shall be Abraham,
-
for a father of many nations have I made thee.
-
and I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and
-
I will make nations of thee, and kings shall
-
come out of what? Can you see nations, nations,
-
nations, nations, nations? All the communications
-
of God to Abraham is about what? Nations! Glory
-
to Jesus! Hallelujah! Good, so now let's go to
-
Luke chapter 1, everybody. Luke chapter 1 verse
Luke 1 chapter mention Luke 1:73–77
-
73 to 77. Some people are trying to sleep. What
-
were you doing in the night? Were you flying
-
in the night? What were you doing in the night?
-
You were flying in the night or what? Luke chapter
-
1 verse 72. To perform the mercy promised to
-
our father, see now everybody. So which means
-
that what God spoke to Abraham, the scripture
-
calls it what? The scripture calls it what? Promise.
-
To perform the mercy promised to our fathers
-
and to remember his holy covenant next verse.
-
The oath which he swear to our what? Our father
-
what? Abraham, yes, that he will grant to us
-
that we being delivered out of the hand of our
-
enemies might serve him without what? Without
-
fear. in holiness and righteousness before him
-
all the days of our lives, yes? And thou, child,
-
shall be called the prophet of the highest, for
-
thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to
-
prepare his ways, seven, seven now, to give him
-
knowledge of what? Of salvation unto his people
-
by the remission of what? Of their sins. Speaking
-
about Jesus now. Hallelujah. That the promise
-
that communication that God was doing with Abraham,
-
the scripture calls it what? Promise. And that
-
promise is about who? About Christ. Glory to
-
Jesus. That in Christ, all the nations of the
-
earth will have salvation by the remission of
-
their what? Of their sins. That's the communication.
-
Amen? Good. So now, have a look at that now.
-
Let's look at Hebrews chapter 6 verse 13. so
-
that we can quickly connect that. Hebrews chapter
-
6 verse 13. Hebrews chapter 6 verse 13. Are we
-
all there everybody? We're gonna read it to 15.
-
He said, for when God made promise to who? Let's
-
read it together. For when God made promise to
-
who? To Abraham. Because he could swear by no
-
greater, he swore by what? By himself, 14. Saying,
-
surely blessing I will do what? Bless thee. And
-
multiplying I will what? Multiply thee. And so,
-
after he had patiently endured, he obtained the
-
what? He promised. So which means, the promise
-
God gave Abraham, right? Did he obtain the promise?
-
Yes. So God gave a promise to Abraham and God
-
ensured that Abraham obtained the what? The promise.
-
Hallelujah. Glory to God. Good. Now, having said
-
all this, now let's go to Genesis 22 verse 1.
-
Are we all working together? Is it clear? So
-
God spoke to Abraham. The scripture calls that
-
communication what? Promise. Amen. And then now
-
from the promise, Abraham believed the promise,
-
right? And then the scriptures say, because he
-
believed, God accounted him as what? Righteousness.
-
Glory to God. Now Genesis 22 verse 1, everybody.
-
Genesis 22 verse 1, we're going to have a long
-
reading to verse 14. And it came to pass after
-
these things that God did tempt Abraham and said
-
unto him, Abraham, and he said, behold, here
-
I am. Next verse. And he said, Take now thy son,
-
thy only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get
-
thee into the land of Moriah, and offer him there
-
for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains,
-
which I will tell thee of. And Abraham rose up
-
early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and
-
took two of his young men with him, and Isaac
-
his son, and clave the wood for the burnt offering,
-
and rose up, and went unto the place of which
-
Baal had told him. Then on the third day Abraham
-
lifted up his eyes, and saw the place afar off.
-
And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye
-
here with us, and I and the Lord will go yonder
-
and worship and come again to you. And Abraham
-
took the wood of the burned offering and laid
-
it upon Isaac his son, and he took the fire in
-
his hand and a knife, and they went both of them
-
together. And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father
-
and said, My father. And he said, Here am I,
-
my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the
-
wood, but where is the lamb for a burned offering?
-
And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself
-
a what? God will provide himself a what? A lamb
-
for a burnt offering. So they went, brought of
-
them together, and they came to a place. Please,
-
if it's your Bible, underline the word, God will
-
provide himself a lamb. And they came to a place,
-
with God I told him, and Abraham built an altar
-
there and laid the wood in order, and down -icing
-
his son and laid him on the altar upon the wood.
-
And Abraham stretched forth his hand and took
-
the knife to slay his son. And the angel of the
-
Lord called out the hymn of heaven and said,
-
Abraham, Abraham. And he said, here am I. And
-
he said, lay not thy hand upon the lad, neither
-
do thou anything unto him. For thou, for now,
-
I know that thou fearest God, seeing that thou
-
hast nowhere a son, but only a son from me. And
-
Abraham lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold,
-
behind him, a ram caught in a ticket in a ticket
-
by his house amen don't forget Abraham said God
-
will provide himself a what a lamb amen and Abraham
-
went and took the ram offered him up for a brand
-
of him instead of his what of his son 14 now
-
and Abraham called the name of the place Jehovah
-
what Jireh as it is said to this day in the mount
-
of the Lord it shall be what it shall be what
-
it shall be seen hebrews chapter 11 verse 17
-
so we know this story everybody amen we know
-
this story so hebrews chapter 11 so we'll know
Hebrews 11 chapter mention
-
it now by revelation hebrews chapter 11 verse
-
17 so the first question i will ask us The story
-
we just read in Genesis, did it happen? It happened,
-
right? Perfect, good. So let's hold that thought.
-
It's very important now. There were certain characters
-
in that story. Abraham was there, right? Isaac
-
was there, right? Was God there? Yes, right?
-
Then we now see angels. Let's add Ram. We now
-
see Ram, right? let's add another element again
-
we now see altar amen there was altar amen ropes
-
knives everything was set amen good so please
-
let's hold that thought it's important hebrews
-
11 17 everybody by faith by faith on wednesday
-
i said something the old testament does not the
-
new testament does not interpret what? The Old
-
Testament. The Old Testament gives explanation
-
to the what? To the New Testament. So if I want
-
to understand the New Testament, I read what?
-
The Old Testament. Amen. So now we've read the
-
Old Testament as the story of Abraham, right?
-
Is it clear to you? You understand? If I want
-
to understand the New Testament, where do I need
-
to go? The Old Testament, right? So we have read
-
a story about Abraham from the Old Testament.
-
Now we want to see it in the what? In the New
-
Testament. Amen. By faith, Abraham, when he was
-
tried, Amen, offered up what? Isaac. And he,
-
he that had received the promise, offered up
-
his only what? Begotten what? Son. Amen. Next
-
verse, of whom it was said that in Isaac shall
-
thy seed be called. You remember we read in Genesis
-
and he was telling God that, but you have told
-
me that through my seed you will multiply a nation.
-
By the way, I don't have my own seed. I only
-
have a seed from Eliezer and God still reaffirmed
-
to him. The nations I want to bring out of you
-
is not through the son of the slave. Through
-
your bowels, I will bring out a what? A seed,
-
amen? Good, so 18, 18, 18, 18. By of whom it
-
was said that in Isaac shall thy seed be what?
-
Because, next now, accounting that girl was able
-
to do what? To raise him up. Raise him up means
-
that Abraham had slaughtered Isaac and Isaac
-
had died in that or on that altar, right? But
-
Abraham believed. See, you know what, Abraham?
-
Abraham had believed God in instructions and
-
communication so much so that he knew, or he
-
had known that when I go and sacrifice, Isaac
-
on that altar. I know God will do what? Will
-
raise him up. And that is why when Isaac told
-
him, we don't have a ram. Abraham didn't tell
-
Isaac, don't worry. When I kill you there, God
-
will raise you up. No, imagine now he told Isaac,
-
I will kill you there. And God, oh, let me say
-
it this way. We're trying to do something with
-
God with you. Tito had no knife and no fire.
-
He said, don't worry, my father. Last week he
-
called him my father. He said, my father, where
-
is the knife? I said, don't worry. I will kill
-
you on Mount Iskele. Right? And God will bring
-
you back. He will raise you up. The first thing
-
Tito will remember is his mother. But Abraham
-
knew even if I had killed Isaac there God will
-
raise Isaac back because God had already told
-
me it's through Isaac I will multiply the nations
-
of what? Of the earth. Three things are happening
-
Abraham is knowing that God will do something
-
biologically through me and spiritually God will
-
also do what? Something through me Do you understand?
-
So two communications are coming to Abraham.
-
Biologically, Abraham knew that Isaac cannot
-
be the sole progenitor of everybody in the world.
-
Are you the direct descendant of Isaac? No, no,
-
no. How are you related to Isaac? Are you connected
-
to Isaac? Is Isaac your great -great -great -great
-
-great father? So God will have not been communicating
-
something biological. Even if the seed of Isaac
-
is 10 billion, is 100 billion, where are the
-
women on earth that through them, the whole nations
-
of the earth will be multiplied by? We don't
-
have that. So God will not be communicating to
-
Isaac something what? Like to Abraham something
-
biological. However, Abraham understood that
-
something spiritual will come out of me and that
-
is why he will remember that accounting that
-
God was able to raise who? To raise him up even
-
from what? From the death, from whence? Also,
-
He received Him in a what? In a figure. Hallelujah!
-
So now, let's now do something. I know some of
-
us have not gotten this now. I know we have not
-
gotten it. Let me make it very simple so that
-
we can understand. Because we're building on
-
this and we'll see how God will help us. Everybody
-
please pay attention to me. Let me reiterate
-
what I said now. God gave Abraham promise, right?
-
He told Abraham something, go and offer your
-
son. Amen. Abraham believed it. You know Abraham
-
had been believing God, right? So this instruction
-
is not a strange instruction to him. I hope we
-
know. Good. He told him to leave his father's
-
house and he left. Now he's telling him to sacrifice
-
his son. So it's not gonna be a new thing. I
-
hope you understand. So Abraham took the child.
-
the child asking no where are we going you say
-
we're going to go and offer a sacrifice but we
-
don't have a what a ram so the child has an understanding
-
of what sacrifice is he told him don't worry
-
god has sent us he will provide himself with
-
what a lamp they went there right but he bound
-
the child i can just imagine as he said no daddy
-
you said ram why are you tying my hands right
-
he took the knife The scripture say he was about
-
what? Putting the knife to slaughter him. The
-
angel said what? Don't do it. That event happened
-
literally. But now this is the spiritual part
-
of it now. The communication God gave to Abraham,
-
Hebrew will now give us a revelational knowledge
-
about it. That that communication that it is
-
a figure hallelujah it is a what a figure it
-
is an illustration please write it figure when
-
we say figure a figure means illustration is
-
the greek word parable parable parable means
-
illustration a pattern to place something side
-
by side. Amen. So what we are doing is that we
-
are placing Genesis, Abraham events today and
-
Hebrews' revelational knowledge now. Now what
-
happened with Abraham, Hebrews call it what?
-
A seagull. What happened? Wait, literally did
-
Abraham kill Isaac? No, but you see Hebrews is
-
telling us that Isaac was ushered and God raised
-
him up. But Abraham accounted it unto God that
-
God gave him a what? A figure of what is to come.
-
Hallelujah! Glory to Jesus! Glory to Jesus! Genesis
-
chapter 22 verse 2. Now everybody fast. You see
-
what he says? And he says, take not thy son.
-
No, no, 22 verse 12. I said, let not thy hand
-
upon the lad, neither do thou any unto him, for
-
I know that thou searest what? God, seeing that
-
thou hast no withheld, can you see? Seeing that
-
thou hast no withheld thy son, thy only son from
-
who? From me. So what Hebrew will say is that
-
this action is an illustration that Abraham laid
-
his begotten son and God raised him up. Hallelujah.
-
Amen. So now, let your mind move fast now. Let
-
your mind move fast. Now, let's look at so that
-
I'll put a balance to it now. Hebrews chapter
-
11 verse 3 everybody. Hebrews 11 3. Hebrews 11
-
3. To a faith we understand that the worlds were
-
framed by the what? By the word of God so that
-
the things which are seen were not made of the
-
things Which do what? Which do appear. So the
-
things God was communicating to Abraham, physically
-
an event is happening, but spiritually something,
-
an event about Christ is coming up. Hallelujah.
-
So that the things we see are not made of the
-
things that we do not what? We do not see. Faith.
-
Right? And we see that is what is accounted to
-
Abraham also. that Abraham was standing and seeing
-
an event with his son but yet he could see that
-
that is not what God was communicating to him.
-
God was giving him a figo. Hallelujah. A promise
-
of what is to come. Glory to Jesus. And then
-
now, what do we see? Psalms 1 -1 -10 verse 4.
-
Psalms 1 -1 -10 verse 4. The Lord has sworn and
-
will not repent down at a priest forever after
-
the order of what? After the order of what? Melchizedek
-
now. Good. So hold that thought. Hebrews chapter
-
6 verse 15. Hebrews 6 verse 15. We'll read it
-
to 20. Go over verse 14, please. Saying, surely
-
blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I
-
will what? Multiply thee. Next verse. And so
-
after he had patiently endured, he obtained the
-
what? The promise. For men verily swear by the
-
greater, and oath for a confirmation is to them
-
an end of all strife, right? Wherein God willing
-
more abundantly to show unto us, or show unto
-
the hairs of promise, the immutability of his
-
counsel, confirmed with by what? By an oath.
-
Next verse. That by two immutable things, in
-
which it was impossible for God to lie, we might
-
have a strong consolation. Who have fled for
-
refuge, to lay hold upon the hope set before
-
us? Nineteen. Which hope we have, as an anchor
-
from the soul both sure and steadfast and which
-
entered into that within the what the veil hallelujah
-
20 without the forerunner we did this on in our
-
cell also people are there now without the forerunner
-
is for us entered even who even jesus can we
-
see that what God was swearing as a promise with
-
an oath to Abraham he was swearing an oath with
-
a promise to Abraham was about who? was about
-
Jesus Christ as a forerunner even Jesus who was
-
made as an high priest for what? forever after
-
the order of Melchizedek hallelujah good now
-
so now what are we getting from this place Hebrews
-
chapter 4 verse 14 Let's quickly do this now.
-
So what we are learning is that God spoke a promise
-
and Hebrew will give us a teaching, a revelation
-
of knowledge. That promise is about who? About
-
Christ. That Christ was the one that God swore
-
an oath with. Amen. In fact, the way the Hebrew
-
said is that he swore the oath so that the hairs
-
of salvation will have an anchor. they will have
-
a consolation. Amen? And so, how did God swore
-
the oath? God swore the oath to ensure that somebody
-
is sacrificed. And that person that is sacrificed,
-
the scripture called him a forerunner, who is
-
Jesus Christ. And the scripture said he is not
-
only a forerunner, but he is also a priest. Because
-
there's only priests, right, that are authorized
-
to offer what? sacrifices. But now, Jesus is
-
not only the priest that offers sacrifice, but
-
he is the priest that offered himself as his
-
Lord, as his sacrifice. And that is why the scripture
-
says, he is the one that has entered behind the
-
veil, and has entered into the heaven. Hallelujah!
-
Jesus, the son of God, and he said, okay look,
-
seeing then that we have a great Lord, high priest,
-
that is passed into what? Into heavens. Jesus,
-
the Son of God, let us hold fast to our what?
-
The confession, same communication. Hallelujah!
-
Hebrews 5 verse 5 to 6. Let's read these scriptures
-
because it will just help us in the things that
-
we will just establish on Wednesday. I think
-
we'll call this a threshold for this. Hebrews
-
5 verse, Hebrews 4. What am I saying? Hebrews
-
5 years by 5 to 6. So also Christ glorified not
-
himself to be made a high priest, but he that
-
said unto him, Thou art my son, today have I
-
what? Begotten thee. And as he said also in another
-
place, thou art a priest forever after the order
-
of what? Melchizedek. Next verse now. Nine verse
-
11 to 12. Nine verse 11 to 12. Hebrews 9 verse
-
11 to 12 but Christ being calm and high priest
-
of good things to come by a greater and more
-
perfect tabernacle not made with hands that is
-
to say not of what? Not of this building neither
-
by the blood of goats and calves but by his own
-
blood he entered into once into the holy place
-
having obtained eternal redemption for what?
-
For us verse 26 fast verse 26 For then must he
-
often have suffered since the foundation of the
-
world, but now once in the end of the world hath
-
he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice
-
of what? Of himself. Don't forget Matthew chapter
Matthew 1 chapter mention
-
1, he says, his name shall be called Jesus, for
-
he shall accomplish a task, and the task is that
-
he shall save what? His people from their what?
-
From their sins. Next verse now. Let's quickly
-
hold this. Romans 8 verse 34. Romans 8 verse
-
34. Romans 8 verse 34. Who is he that condemneth?
-
It is Christ that what? That died. Here rather,
-
that it is he that rise again. Who is even at
-
the right hand of God, who also maketh what?
-
Intercession for us. 8 verse 1. 8 verse 1. 8
-
verse 1. There is therefore now no condemnation
-
to them who are in Christ Jesus, who walk not
-
after the flesh, but after the what? The spirit.
-
10 verse 12. Now, Romans 10 verse 12. For there
-
is no difference between the Jew and the Greek.
-
For the same Lord over all is rich unto how many?
-
Unto all that call what upon him. Hallelujah
-
Glory to Jesus. Glory to Jesus. Glory to Jesus
-
So what are we seeing from here? What we are
-
seeing is that the promise that God gave to Abraham
-
is a promise Let me put it this way now. It's
-
an inclusion promise Do you know what I just
-
said? It's an what? It's an inclusive promise
-
for the whole nations of the earth that through
-
Jesus, right, that the whole nations of the earth
-
will be what? Will be saved. Through Christ,
-
salvation will come to all. No Jew, no Greek,
-
no Gentile, no male, no female. Hallelujah. And
-
how is God going to achieve this? Write this
-
down. God is achieving this through the resurrection
-
of Jesus. He is achieving it through the resurrection
-
of Jesus or he has achieved it. First that's
-
happened. He has achieved it through the what?
-
The resurrection of Jesus. And also how did Abraham
-
receive the promise? The scripture says he patiently
-
waited for the promise. Abraham received the
-
promise or he obtained the promise what? Through
-
the resurrection of Jesus. So what are we saying
-
in essence? That what God preached to Abraham,
-
he preached the gospel. Hallelujah. Amen. If
-
you are writing, write it there. We'll just hold
-
the thoughts there. That what God preached to
-
Abraham, he preached the what? He preached the
-
gospel. So how is that called the gospel? Galatians
-
chapter 3 verse 8. Galatians chapter 3 verse
-
8. How is that called the gospel? The resurrection
-
of Jesus Galatians chapter 3 verse 8. Everybody
-
let's read together and the scripture wants to
-
go and the scripture yes foreseeing that God
-
will do what will justify unbelievers amen. Through
-
what? What did he do? Preach before, right? The
-
gospel unto who? Abraham. Where we read, did
-
it sound like gospel? What God told Abraham is
-
sacrifice your son. But what we are learning
-
now in Epistos by Revelation now is that that
-
event is called what? The gospel. Preach the
-
gospel unto Abraham saying indeed shall all nations
-
of the earth be what? be blessed. Let me summarize
-
it this way now so that we can hold the thought.
-
The word indeed shall all the nations of the
-
earth be blessed is that indeed shall all the
-
nations of the earth receive the remission of
-
all their sins. Do you know what I just said?
-
Indeed shall all the nations of the earth be
-
saved through faith. That's the blessing. You
-
know Abraham blessings are mine. Abraham blessings
-
are mine. I am blessed in the morning, in the
-
noon, in the evening. Abraham blessings are mine.
-
That blessing is not money blessing. During Abraham's
-
time, he was not on the Forbes list. Amen. The
-
blessing that Abraham received is the blessing
-
of the forgiveness of what? of sins is the blessing
-
that all the nations of the earth will be saved
-
is the blessing amen that through Jesus Christ
-
all the nations of the earth will have what eternal
-
life glory to Jesus hallelujah amen so you see
-
we do start now everything that we're gonna do
-
on Wednesday and ends on this topic for now Amen?
-
It's gonna make, I believe, by the help of the
-
Holy Spirit, that it's gonna place us at a place
-
where not only to do greater works, right? But
-
to move around, preaching the gospel by faith.
-
Amen? Please, don't forget, we stop at God's,
-
preach the what? The gospel. We preach the gospel,
-
not only with faith, but with an understanding
-
that we have power, right, of Jesus Christ. We
-
will come against, I'm using the word carefully,
-
we will come against sicknesses, we will come
-
against circumstances, we will come against challenges,
-
right, with the understanding of where we are
-
in the name of who? In the name of Jesus. Hallelujah.
-
Because two things we are looking at. One, we
-
are looking at gospel in resurrection and then
-
Tudor will look at right is power in resurrection
-
these are the two elements that are in the name
-
of Jesus two elements that are in the what the
-
name of Jesus the gospel and the what the power
-
because this is very important to the believer
