Well, good morning church.
-
You look good today.
-
You look good today.
-
You sound great today.
-
I am just so moved, this morning already, by the presence of the Lord Today.
-
We had planned on my father being with us to minister here on the first Sunday of the year, and we'd scheduled that actually months ago.
-
They, however, sold their house in Winfield and just relocated to Nashville, tennessee, over the holidays, and so I was in conversation with dad and I'm Dad, you're exhausted, you're tired, you got a lot going on.
-
Let me just take the first Sunday of the year.
-
I'm kind of familiar with the place, I think it'll be okay, and the Lord started stirring my heart.
-
Actually, what I'm going to preach on today, the Lord started stirring my heart for back in November, when the calendar flips in November every year.
-
That's a pretty significant moment for me because I begin making the shift towards the next year.
-
In my prayer journal, in my prayer calendar, I have November 1st marked, that I put the next year down and start praying into what the next year will be.
-
God, is there a word, is there a verse, is there a phrase, is there a theme that you have for our church?
-
And I began praying for that, starting on November 1st and over the next couple of months.
-
I'll pray into that and typically God will give me a verse, he'll give me a theme, but this year God gave me just a single word, and that single word is going to be our theme for 2025.
-
Now what's amazing about that is that Pastor Noah doesn't know what that is, but everything that he shared this morning in our ministry moment was directed directly towards the theme that God gave me over the last couple of months.
-
How many guys know we can't orchestrate that?
-
Only God can do that.
-
What's even more amazing is that typically, pastor Noah and Meg and myself will get together leading up to a Sunday and kind of share with one another what God has laid upon our heart, and my family was out of town Wednesday through Saturday, and so we got in yesterday afternoon after being away together as a family, and so we didn't get to get together like we normally do.
-
So, on top of everything else, this is just the orchestration of the Holy Spirit, and the word that God has given me for 2025 is this crossover, and that 2025 is going to be a crossover kind of year for you.
-
It's going to be a year in which we move out of the known into the unknown.
-
We move out of promises to fulfillment.
-
It's a year that you're going to move into the destiny of God for your life in a way that you've never moved into it before.
-
As a matter of fact, I feel like much of our lives have been a preparation for this moment in time that we are getting ready to cross over into a new season, into a new day, into a new destiny, and all that we've hoped for and prayed for and dreamed for are about to materialize in our lives.
-
It's a crossover year.
-
It's going to be different this year than it's ever been before.
-
Can I just declare over you this morning that the habits and the patterns that have held you back for far too long are dead and gone and over, and you're crossing over into freedom like you've never known freedom before.
-
For those of you that have been wrestling with clarity and vision, the future has seemed cloudy.
-
I declare over your life this morning that the clarity of the Holy Spirit for your future is descending upon your heart and mind and you're going to have the ability to see forward like you've never had the ability to see forward before.
-
I declare that there's a new authority in your life, a new anointing that you're going to operate in Everything in your life.
-
A new anointing that you're going to operate in Everything in your life has been a preparation for this moment.
-
I'm declaring that 2025 is the year of the crossover for you.
-
It's a year of freedom, it's a year of new territory, it's a year of new anointing, it's a year of new vision and everything is going to look differently because you're crossing over into what God has for your life.
-
Stand with me this morning as we read God's word together Joshua, chapter 1, starting in verse 1.
Joshua 1 chapter mention
-
The Bible says After the death of Moses, the servant of the Lord, the Lord said to Joshua, son of Nun Moses' aid Moses, my servant is dead.
-
Can I translate that for you this morning real quickly Moses, my servant is dead.
-
What does that mean?
-
Moses, my servant, is dead.
-
What does that mean?
-
It means that yesterday is dead and gone and over and a new day is dawning and it's time to forget the past and move forward into your future.
-
Can I declare over your life Moses is dead.
-
What's held you is no longer going to hold you.
-
Moses is dead.
-
What's held you is no longer going to hold you.
-
You're moving forward into a new future, into a new destiny.
-
You need to forget it.
-
You need to let go of it.
-
Can I say?
-
You can't carry yesterday's baggage into tomorrow's future.
-
You've got to let it go and move forward.
-
Moses, my servant, is dead.
-
Now then, god says you and all these people, get ready to cross the Jordan River.
-
Everybody say cross over Into the land I'm about to give you.
-
I will give you every place where you set your foot.
-
As I promised Moses, your territory will extend from the desert to Lebanon, from the great river of the Euphrates, all the Hittite country to the Mediterranean Sea in the west, and no one will be able to stand up against you all the days of your life.
-
For as I was with Moses, so I will be with you.
-
I will never leave you nor forsake you.
-
Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their ancestors to give them.
-
Be strong and courageous.
-
Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you.
-
Do not turn from it to the right nor to the left.
-
That you may be successful wherever you go, keep this book of the law always on your lips.
-
Meditate it both day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it.
-
Then you'll be prosperous.
-
Have I not commanded you?
-
Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid, do not be discouraged, for the Lord, your God, will be with you wherever you go.
-
So Joshua ordered the officers of the people.
-
Go throughout the camp and tell the people get your provisions ready.
-
Turn to your neighbor and say get ready.
-
Turn to the other neighbor and say get ready.
-
Turn around to the person behind you and say get ready.
-
What?
-
What are we getting ready for?
-
You're getting ready to cross over.
-
You're getting ready to cross over.
-
You're getting ready to cross over into the future and the destiny and the plans and the purposes and the promises of God for your life.
-
You're getting ready to leave discouragement and disappointment behind.
-
You're getting ready to leave habits and addictions and patterns that have held you captive for far too long behind.
-
You're getting ready to leave regret behind and you're crossing over.
-
Turn to your neighbor and say cross over.
-
Turn to your other neighbor and say cross over.
-
Turn around and say cross over.
-
Turn to your neighbor and say cross over.
-
Turn to the other neighbor and say cross over.
-
Turn around and say cross over.
-
Three days from now, you will cross over the Jordan to go in and take possession of the land your God is giving you for your own.
-
Tell them.
-
My message Today is this it's time to cross over.
-
How many of you have something that you need to cross over?
-
How many of you would say, pastor, there's some things in my life that I need to let go of and cross over into the future that God has for my life?
-
Listen, we all got some things in our lives that we need to cross over.
-
Maybe the better question is is there anybody that doesn't have something they need to cross over?
-
If that's you, let me sit down and you can come up here.
-
We all have something in our life that we need to cross over.
-
Why do you say that, pastor?
-
Because ain't none of us perfect?
-
We're all in process and it's time to cross over.
-
Father, we thank you for your word.
-
Your word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path.
-
It shows us the way to go and how to arrive there safely, and I pray this morning that we wouldn't just be hearers of your word, but that we would be doers of your word and that we would cross over into the destiny that you have for our lives.
-
In Jesus' name.
-
Everybody said amen, you may be seated.
-
I can already tell it's been a couple of weeks since I've preached, because my voice is already a little raw.
-
As I began praying into this theme for this year, it was just absolutely uncanny how God continued to give me confirmation after confirmation through all kinds of different mediums, that this was the direction, this was the theme that he had for our year.
-
And as that confirmation began to descend upon my heart, I turned my eyes and my mind towards scripture and began to just investigate the idea or the theme of crossover in Scripture, and what I found was pretty interesting.
-
What I found was is that the theme of crossing over is a primary theme in Scripture.
-
It's something that you see really from the beginning of Scripture to the end of Scripture, the whole story at the macro level and at the micro level, at the individual level and at the corporate level, there's this theme where we are called to cross over into something with God.
-
You see this and Pastor Noah alluded to it this morning that God brought the children of Israel to the Red Sea and his command to them was to cross over.
-
Forty years later, joshua brings the children of Israel to the Jordan River and God's command to them is to cross over, cross over.
-
Jacob had his encounter with the Lord that changed the trajectory of his life.
-
His name went from Jacob to Israel when he crossed over the Jordan River and wrestled with God.
-
Do you know that it was Elisha, crossing over the Jordan River that allowed him to grab a hold of Elijah's mantle and receive the double portion inheritance that he had been promised?
-
Crossing over is a theme that we see recurring throughout Scripture, from beginning to end.
-
Jesus, when he goes down to the Jordan River to be baptized, crosses over into full-time ministry.
-
Before that baptism experience, jesus had not performed a miracle or revealed who he was, but the Jordan River was a crossing over moment for him.
-
Jesus says this in John, chapter 5, verse 24.
-
Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him, who sent me, has eternal life and will not be judged, but has crossed over.
-
Everybody say crossed over From death to life.
-
Jesus said whoever hears my words and believes them has crossed over from death to life.
-
The apostle Paul in Colossians, chapter 1, 13, says that God has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and he has brought us, he has translated us, he has crossed us over into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sin, whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sin.
Colossians 1 chapter mention
-
The story of Scripture from beginning to end, is how God enables His people to cross over into the plans, purposes and promises of God for their lives.
-
I want to here at the beginning of the year, clear something up a little bit theologically.
-
That in our culture has gotten a little wonky.
-
Everybody know what the word wonky means.
-
Can I say the word wonky?
-
Or I could use an even older term that my kids just absolutely hate.
-
When I do, it's cattywampus.
-
Anybody know what cattywampus is?
-
Anybody know what cattywampus is?
-
It's just not right, it's out of kilter, it's messed up.
-
I need to know who all understood who cattywampus is.
-
Oh, that's what I'm talking about.
-
I love you.
-
Such a connection.
-
There's something a little cattywampus in our theology about salvation.
-
Far too many people believe that salvation is just about securing your eternity.
-
Far too many people believe that just confessing with my mouth that Jesus is Lord checks my eternal security box and then I can go on living how I want to live.
-
I want to tell you, salvation isn't that, although it may secure our identity, salvation is about crossing over into a whole new way of living.
-
Salvation is about crossing over into a whole new way of thinking.
-
It's about crossing over into a whole new way of believing, through a relationship with Jesus.
-
I believe with everything inside of me that Jesus didn't go through what he went through just to save us in eternity, but to leave us unchanged today.
-
Jesus went through what he went through to purchase our eternity and to empower us in the present, to cross over into his way of life.
-
This is what salvation is.
-
It's about crossing over into a way that is different.
-
You know really what Jesus came to do.
-
Jesus came to show us God's original intent for humanity and to provide us, through his death and resurrection, a way back to that.
-
This is what salvation is about.
-
And if you think that salvation is about and if you think that salvation is just about checking a box for your eternity, your eternity may not be checked.
-
Salvation, jesus said whoever would come after me must do what.
-
They must deny themselves, they must take up their cross and they must follow me.
-
What do you got to do?
-
I got to cross over into the Jesus way.
-
This is what salvation is about and this is really the theme of Scripture from beginning to end.
-
It's about crossing over into God's way of life, at the huge level and at the personal level.
-
It's about crossing over from death to life, from being lost to found, to being empty, to being full, from barrenness to fruitfulness.
-
Am I talking about anybody this morning?
-
It's about crossing over from bondage to freedom, from sickness to health, from blindness to vision, from confusion to clarity.
-
It's about crossing over into a whole new way of life.
-
This is the theme we see throughout scripture.
-
It's why I'm calling 2025 the year of the crossover.
-
Here's what I believe with everything inside of me, church, and I believe it not just for us corporately.
-
I believe it for you individually.
-
God has more.
-
I don't care where you are or what you've experienced and how grand that experience has been.
-
If you're not dead, god's not done and he has more for your life.
-
He has you here for a purpose and he has you here for a plan and there's a promise over your life and he wants you to walk in that and to experience that.
-
But I also believe this If I keep doing what I've always done.
-
I'm going to keep getting what I've always got.
-
If I stay where I am, then where I am is where I'm always going to be.
-
But I've got to cross over.
-
Somebody say, cross over.
-
You can't stay here and inherit the promised land.
-
You can't keep doing what you've always done and get what you've never had.
-
You've got to cross over into a new experience, into a new territory, into a new place, so that you can begin to inherit the very promises of God for your life.
-
Hear me, church.
-
I love you, but you can't stay where you are in 2025 and expect something different than you got in 2024.
-
You've got to cross over.
-
You've got to move beyond the boundaries of your comfort zone.
-
You've got to move beyond the boundaries of all that is known.
-
You've got to do something different.
-
What is the definition of insanity?
-
Keep doing the same old thing and expecting different results?
-
That's just stupid.
-
We can't do that.
-
We've got to cross.
-
I'm going to try this side of the room Cross.
-
That's pretty good.
-
Let's try this side of the room Cross.
-
That's pretty good.
-
Let's try this side of the room Cross as we say that you win.
-
By the way, as I say that.
-
Is there something that immediately comes to your mind?
-
Is there something in your life that you say I need to cross over that?
-
It may be a mindset, it might be a pattern, it might be a problem, it might be an addiction.
-
There's something, there's a block in your life standing between you and the promises of God, and you know it beyond a shadow of a doubt, and it's time to cross over that thing in order to inherit the promises of God for your life.
-
In Joshua, chapter 1, god gives Joshua and the children of Israel five things that he wants to give them in the crossover, and I want to share those with you.
Joshua 1 chapter mention
-
I think I have all five for you on the screen.
-
As you read through Joshua chapter 1, you find that God wants to give the children of Israel a new vision to live by.
Joshua 1 chapter mention
-
He wants to give them a new authority to walk in, a new territory to inhabit, a new freedom to enjoy and a new anointing to operate in.
-
Can I declare that over your life today that this is what God wants to give you in 2025.
-
He wants to give you a new vision to live by.
-
In verse 11, god told Joshua now cross over and possess my promises.
-
Here's your vision for 2025.
-
Possess the promises of God for your life.
-
Here's your vision for 2025.
-
Possess the promises of God for your life.
-
That's my vision, that I'm going to possess every promise that God has declared over my life, whatever that promise is.
-
My vision for this year is I'm going to lay hold of the promises of God and I'm not going to take no for an answer.
-
I'm not going to be dissuaded by every attack of the enemy and by every word of a person.
-
No, I'm setting my focus, my vision, on the promises of God and I'm not going to stop and I'm not going to let go till I lay hold of those things for my life.
-
That's my vision.
-
Says go, lay hold of the promises that I have for your life.
-
And as you forward, you're going to walk in a new authority.
-
In verse 3 of Joshua, chapter 1, god says I'm going to give you every place, your foot steps, wherever you walk, whatever you touch, I am going to give you the authority to possess that thing.
Joshua 1 chapter mention
-
I'm going to give you the authority to declare that this is now mine.
-
So I want to declare over your life this morning that God's giving you a new authority to possess things that you've never possessed before, and that's not just a physical thing, that's a spiritual thing.
-
That God's going to give you the authority to possess spiritual gifts that are going to enable you to walk in the promises of God for your life in a way that you've never walked before.
-
That God is going to give you words of wisdom and words of knowledge, and he's going to give you discernment and words of prophecy that are going to help you have the authority to possess the promises of God for your life.
-
He's also going to give you a new territory to inhabit.
-
God said I'm going to give you the children of Israel, everything from the Euphrates River to the Mediterranean Sea, that this now is your territory.
-
Can I declare over your life this morning that this now is your territory?
-
Can I declare over your life this morning that God is expanding your territory?
-
What is another word for that?
-
God is expanding your influence.
-
God is going to give you influence in people's lives that you've never had influence before.
-
Why Is it to make your life better?
-
No, it's to expand his kingdom.
-
See, god always gives us a new territory because there's a new people that he wants us to reach.
-
God's original call to the children of Israel in Exodus, chapter 19, was this I want to make you a kingdom of priests.
Exodus 19 chapter mention
-
What does a priest do?
-
A priest stands in the gap between God and man, and so he's saying I'm going to make you, as a nation, a priest for the world.
-
Listen, god is trying to expand your influence because there's people in your life that don't know him and need to know him, and he wants you to reach them.
-
He wants to give you a new territory but not just a new territory a new freedom to enjoy.
-
How many of you guys could use a little bit more freedom?
-
Oh, let me ask you this question how many of you wrestle with anxiety and worry and fear and doubt?
-
Let me tell you right now that's not of God, that's of the enemy.
-
How many of you wrestle with timidity?
-
Timidity is not of God, it is of the enemy.
-
And God wants you to walk in a new level of freedom.
-
He wants the baggage of yesterday cast off so that you can walk confidently and forcefully into the future that he has for your life.
-
I declare over your life today freedom.
-
And finally, god wants to give you a new anointing to operate in.
-
God told Joshua and the children of Israel.
-
As I was with Moses, so am I going to be with you.
-
You as I was with Moses, so I am going to be with you.
-
The anointing that Moses needed to operate in the call that I had placed upon his life.
-
I'm now taking that anointing and placing it on you because your call has been elevated.
-
I'm declaring over your life this morning that there's an elevation to your call, that God's calling you to a higher level to operate in.
-
How many of you guys know, with new levels come new devils.
-
Can I also declare over your life with new levels comes new anointing.
-
Way too many people talk about getting elevated and all of a sudden all hell breaks loose.
-
Yes, that will happen.
-
But I can also attest to the reality that greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world, and whatever God's called me to, he equips me for there's a new anointing coming to your life.
-
Well, pastor, how do I cross over and experience these things?
-
Scripture tells us in verse 11.
-
Joshua said go through the camp and tell the people to get your provisions ready.
-
Three days from now you will cross over, you will step into to take possession of the land your God is giving you.
-
And when you read this story in the book of Joshua, we've read chapter 1.
-
But if you really read the full story of the crossover experience, it's chapters 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.
-
In chapters 2 through 5, god gives them the steps that they need to take in order to cross over and possess the land.
-
And I have those four steps for you.
-
Here's four things, four steps that we need to do to cross over and experience what God wants to give us.
-
You have to number one, survey your surroundings.
-
Number two, set your focus on the Lord.
-
And number three, surrender your surroundings.
-
Number two, set your focus on the Lord.
-
And number three, surrender your future.
-
And finally, number four, sacrifice your old ways.
-
Four steps that God lays out in Joshua 2, 3, 4, and 5 that are a pattern for us crossing over into the promises of God for our lives.
-
How do we possess his promises?
-
Here's four things that God gives us.
-
Number one he says you've got to survey your surroundings.
-
In chapter 2, joshua sends out the scouts.
-
He said I want you to go scout out the land.
-
He only sends two, because the first time they sent 12 and it didn't go well, because the first time they sent 12 and it didn't go well.
-
So he sends two spies and they go scout out the land and they go visit Jericho, which is the place that God had originally brought them to, the first city that he wanted them to destroy.
-
Why?
-
What do we learn from that?
-
What we learn is that when we are crossing over into the future that God has for our lives and we begin to possess His promises, then we need first to survey our surroundings.
-
Can I tell you what 21 days of prayer and fasting is all about?
-
It's about pausing and surveying your surroundings.
-
It's about pausing and surveying your surroundings.
-
Why do we begin every year with 21 days of prayer and fasting?
-
Because we're pressing the pause button in order to survey our surroundings.
-
What's going on in me and what's going on around me?
-
And we ask God, search me, god, see if there's any wicked or offensive way in me and lead me in the way everlasting.
-
God, show me before I go, take the land, show me if there's anything in me that needs to get out of me.
-
That's what 21 days of prayer and fasting is all about.
-
I'm going to pause for just a moment and say God, let me take stock of what's going on around me.
-
We're going to pray and we're going to fast God.
-
What do I really need to give my attention to in 2025?
-
How many of you have already done a vision board for 2025?
-
Alex, I've got a lot of feedback up here.
-
How many of you got plans in place for 2025?
-
Somebody said I'm just glad to be here.
-
Can I tell you, the most important thing that you can do in your life is to make your plans with God, not without God.
-
I don't care how great an idea is, if it's not a God idea, you don't need to be doing it.
-
I don't care how attractive a business deal might look, if God doesn't give you the go, you don't need to go.
-
I don't care how good a new job at a new place may look I've lived long enough to know the grass isn't always greener on the other side.
-
You better get a word from God and in 2025, we need to pause here for 21 days and survey our surroundings and give God permission to put his finger on things in us that need to go and to put his finger on things around us that we need to give our attention to.
-
I have so many wonderful relationships with business people and I could tell you story after story of business owners saying a situation didn't look like it was the right situation, but God said go and it turned out right.
-
And then other situations looked great on the surface.
-
And so I went and God didn't give me a go because I really didn't ask him.
-
It just looked too good and it turned out bad.
-
How many of you guys know, we need a word from the Lord for our future.
-
First thing that we need to do is to survey our surroundings.
-
Number two we need to set our focus on the Lord.
-
In chapter 3, this is what God told Israel.
-
You're going in a way that you've never gone before.
-
You're moving into a land that you've never gone before.
-
You're moving into a land that you've never been to, and it could be really confusing, it could be tricky, it would be easy to make a mistake.
-
So this is what I want you to do Set your eyes upon the ark, and wherever the ark goes, that's where you need to go.
-
What does the ark represent?
-
In Scripture, the ark always represents the presence of God.
-
And so what God is instructing the children of Israel as they begin to enter and cross over into the promised land.
-
He says set your focus on my presence.
-
My presence is your guide and direct.
-
How do you do that?
-
What does that look like?
-
Let me give you two things.
-
Number one is the word of God.
-
The word of God connects us with the presence of God like few other things.
-
Can somebody say amen to that?
-
And here's the second thing that is increasingly lost in our culture Community.
-
Community, the Bible says where two or three are gathered, he is there.
-
We've got way too many Lone Ranger Christians trying to do life on their own outside of the context of community.
-
Can I tell you, community is a safe haven.
-
Community will protect you, it'll keep you, it'll propel you.
-
Christian community has the power to move you forward into the future that God has for your life.
-
Well, pastor, they're not perfect.
-
I'm afraid I'm going to get hurt.
-
Well, neither are you.
-
Just offer them the same grace you expect to receive and you'll be all right.
-
Can somebody just say amen to that?
-
Listen, let me just confess I get, I get.
-
I have to be careful with my words, thank you, thank you.
-
I understand that church hurt is real, but you can't be the person that God wants you to be on an island by yourself.
-
It takes community, godly community, to grow into the people that God wants us to be.
-
You can't do it by yourself.
-
As a matter of fact, if you want to get worked over, go try to do it by yourself, because the enemy will work you over.
-
So would you rather be worked over alone by the enemy or have the potential of being hurt?
-
In the context of community, where there is healing, we need to set our focus on the Lord.
-
Let his presence guide us.
-
Number three we need to surrender our future.
-
In chapter four, god says consecrate yourself, consecrate yourself.
-
What does consecrate mean?
-
Consecrate means to set yourself apart for the Lord.
-
See, my future isn't my future, it's His future.
-
Before a day of mine came into being, god ordained every one of them and he destined my days, and so my goal for my life is not my dreams and my plans and my purposes and my hopes.
-
It's God's plans, it's God's dreams, it's His purposes and His hopes for my life.
-
Paul says do you not understand that your life is not your own, but you've been bought with a price, and the price was the blood of Jesus.
-
So I no longer belong to myself, I belong to him, so I've got to run everything about my life through him and make sure that I'm surrendered to him.
-
That's what he says Consecrate yourselves, set as you go in to take possession of the promised land and you cross over into my future.
-
Surrender yourself.
-
And finally he says sacrifice your ways.
-
In chapter five we have the children of Israel that grew up during the wilderness, wandering, had not been circumcised, and so God had them circumcised.
-
Circumcision is always representative of a cutting away of the world's ways.
-
Let me tell you something, church you can't follow God by the world's ways.
-
There's some things in our life that we have to cut away, and the primary thing that we have to cut away to cross over into the promises of God is this thing called the flesh.
-
Anybody else have flesh problems?
-
We all have flesh problems, and so we've got to learn how to sacrifice the flesh.
-
And that's what Paul says for me, to live as Christ and to die is gain.
-
And Paul even goes on to say I die daily.
-
Why?
-
Because every stinking morning my flesh resurrects itself.
-
This was the strategy that God gave the children of Israel as they were beginning to cross over into the future that he had for their life.
-
It was time now to possess the promise.
-
Well, god, how do we possess the promise?
-
What I've got to do is I've got to survey my surroundings, I've got to set my focus on you, I've got to surrender my future and I've got to sacrifice my old ways, and when I do that, I posture myself to inherit the promises of God for my life.
-
This is how we cross over into the best that God has for us in 2025.
-
Will you stand with me where you are this morning?
-
How many of you would say, pastor?
-
It may not be the Jordan River, but there's a river that I need to cross over to get to the future that you have for my life.
-
There's something standing in the way of your promises for my life.
-
There's something that I need to let go of.
-
There's something that I need to let go of.
-
There's something that I need to sacrifice or surrender.
-
There's something in my life that's standing as a barrier between me and the future that God has for me, and the time has come for me to cross over into my future.
-
How many of you right now would say, pastor?
-
I got something in my mind.
-
This is just right now.
-
I'm thinking about this.
-
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
-
This is what I want us to do this morning.
-
In the seat in front of you is a prayer card, a connection card.
-
On the backside of it is a prayer section and, as the Holy Spirit has spoken to you this morning or witnessed something in your life that, hey, I need to cross over this, I want you to write it on the back of that prayer card.
-
Right now, you can just go ahead and take it out of the seat.
-
There's pens there.
-
Go ahead and just grab that card and I want you to write that thing on that prayer card and in just a moment, as a statement of faith that 2025 is going to be a crossing over year, I'm going to invite you to come and lay it upon the altar and say, god, I'm surrendering.
-
I'm going to invite you to come and lay it upon the altar and say God, I'm surrendering and I'm sacrificing this thing, and I'm believing that 2025 is going to be my crossover year into the future that you have for me and that everything up until this point that has tried to stop me will not stop me.
-
I'm crossing over into the plans and the purposes and the promises of God for my life.
-
Some of you have already written them down.
-
Would you just come right now, move out of your seat, and I want you just to lay them on the altar right now.
-
Just do that.
-
That's right.
-
That's right.
-
Church.
-
This is just amazing.
-
Come on, church.
-
This is amazing.
-
This is a crossing over moment.
-
This is a new day, it's a new season and God is moving us into His best for our lives.
-
We're not staying where we've been.
-
We're moving into His future.
-
We're not going to keep doing these same old things.
-
We're going to do new things and move into His plans and purposes for our lives.
-
Praise the Lord, god's doing it even now.
-
I just want to prophesy over you that are moving this morning that your step of faith that you have taken today is the first step into your new future.
-
That what has held you captive Will no longer hold you captive, what has stood in your way Will no longer stand in your way.
-
That God, even now, is giving you new vision.
-
He is giving you new authority.
-
He is giving you new territory, new freedom and new anointing To possess his promises for your lives.
-
Church, you just stretch your hands, hands towards heaven this morning.
-
Father.
-
We thank you, lord.
-
We thank you today that 2025 is a crossover year, god, that what has been will not continue to be, that it is a new day and that it is a new season, and that we are walking into the future that you have, that your promises are made real in Jesus' name in 2025.
-
God, there is new vision descending upon hearts and minds.
-
There's new authority welling up in spirits, new freedom, new territory and a new anointing.
-
God.
-
As you were with Moses, so shall you be with us, and I declare over your life the gifts and the anointing of the Holy Spirit to operate in the new territory that he is bringing you into.
-
I rebuke every lie of the enemy that would attempt to hold you captive and keep you from the destiny of God.
-
I cast him asunder and I trample him under feet and declare it's a new day and it's a new season.
-
By the Spirit of God, lord, we declare, individually and corporately today we are crossing over.
-
We are crossing over.
-
We are crossing over into the best that you have for our lives.
-
We thank you for this, god.
-
I seal it by your spirit today and I declare it done in Jesus' mighty name.
-
And everybody said can you put your hands together this morning.
-
Thank you.
